Riku Asakura With Pedanium Zetton active again, the city has once again become unsafe for the people in it.  Unlike last time, however, Pedanium Zetton seems to have a focus.  He doesn't just rampage and destroy randomly, despite the fact that the Ultra Capsules are still in him, causing him to go wild with energy, but the intelligence inside seems to have found something to focus on.

He seems focused on walking towards the direction you all just came from.  Towards Sui Asakura, who is now being carried away by cart from his house, and towards the closest point that RE.M. can send an elevator.  This is still a pretty distant location, on foot at least, but it's a better plan than nothing.  This leaves you with two options: help Riku get Sui to safety, or engage Kei to try and delay his advance.

Kei seems to place little value on property or people, marching through both without so much as a second thought.  While one could argue this isn't a huge change from normal, his body is still being ravaged by the power of the changing Ultra Capsules.  This causes occasional bursts of electrical energy to erupt from him as he moves, crashing and destroying nearby buildings.

Nearby civilians are evacuating, of course, but it's going to take time to make sure nobody is in the way of this monster as he marches towards Sui and Riku.

In the cart itself, Sui is talking to Riku and whoever is deciding to help him.

"Aw, I'm sorry to trouble you.  Why don't I look up whatever you want as thanks?  Is there anything you want to know?" Sui asks, and despite the situation, seems relaxed.

"You can see anything?"

"Yup.  Is this about that girl?"

"I'm not really curious about Laiha."

"Nobody said anything about Laiha," Sui says with a laugh.

"No, never mind that; there is something important I need to know right now.  Where is my father right now?"

"Hmmm... Somewhere that is not quite part of this universe.  Mmm!  Though I think someone you know is getting quite close to him."

"Someone I know?"

"I don't think he's run into the last boss yet. He'll probably tell himself to try again in twenty thousand years," Sui says, making a peace symbol with his hands.

"Ultraman Zero?!  By the last boss, do you mean Belial?"

"You'll be meeting your father soon.  You'll fight, and if you lose, it'll be the end of the world."  No pressure, Riku!
Shira EARLIER
The room shaking had instantly put Shira on edge. In a blink, she dropped her snack and skittered to the nearest window. It was only after sighting Pedanium Zetton that she relaxed-- just a little, there was still tension, but not bearing the additional load of familial anxiety. It's Pedanium Zetton, not Voltarion. She had even let let out a little sigh of relief before pivoting into the next step, as plain as the text flickering into the upper left of her vision.

> Objectives:
> - Evacuate Sui Asakawa
> - Minimize collateral damage <optional>

NOW
Shira hangs on to the back of the cart, feeling more than a little ridiculous. Why a cart and not a car or something? Her 'horn' ears flickle a touch, listening to Riku and Sui continue their conversation while keeping her eyes on the approaching kaiju. After observing it for a few minutes, she turns her head enough to give Riku a glance.

"The monster is moving too fast. I'll try to slow it down."

Without further words, she lets go and kicks off with her legs, springing up into the air. The perspective appears to work backwards though; as she gets further away, she gets *larger* instead of smaller. When she lands, she braces herself on all fours in individual clouds of debris, shaking the earth, now quite suddenly several stories tall. Pushing up to a bipedal stance, she shifts her posture and twists to face Pedanium Zetton in the distance. The spikes on the end of Shira's tail all straighten, then close up into a dense mass of straight spines.

That's no Ultraman! But also not quite a kaiju either? She's somewhere in between, a monstrous kamen rider covered in armor plates and spikes and claws. She doesn't speak; what comes out is instead a metallic-ringing roar that vibrates glass and reverberates through a listener's lungs and bones.

When she stoops down to roar, she balances herself with one hand on the street. In the same motion, her tail flips around and makes a motion not unlike a whip, snapping the tip and hurling a trio of spikes directly at Pedanium Zetton's chest to get its attention.
Meresankh     The largest remnant of Meresankh's forces present in the center of Tokyo is the infantry, grimly-silent Necron warriors who guided evacuations and stood guard over the unconscious Pedanium Zetton. As the kaiju reawakens they have returned to that first task, marching down the streets to clear a corridor in the enormous cyborg's path.

Meanwhile, Meresankh prepares Riku and Sui for their escape. "Take this," she says, handing over a small scarab drone. "I will be able to track your position, and to teleport to your location if necessary. Good luck."

As Sui and Riku set off for the entrance to Nebula Base, Meresankh whirls her omnidimensional cloak around herself, teleporting away to the front lines where her warriors await. Rather than hurl herself into the fray she hangs back, attaching astral tethers to her allies. Each such link magnifies the strength and speed of the recipient through precise space-time manipulations, to help the other Elites fight Pedanium Zetton more on its own terms.

Her scepter pulsing with each of her allies' blows and movements, Meresankh seems largely content to wait and see where she is needed next, and to intercept stray lightning with counter-charged bolts of her own.
Flamel Parsons     Flamel's busy coordinating the evacuation, by which I mean he's busy infiltrating the minds of nearby civilians en-masse and influencing their actions to a coordinated evacuation. "I appreciate the long-term view! But, listen, we really need a short-term victory here too." He says, urgently. "Mind if I cast Riku into your mind for just a minute? I'd really like you to take a look at these coordinates I've dug up, the original place that Belial found Kei. If we need to approach this using the kind of Ultraman-esque kindness you're after, the important part of that is going to be establishing as deep a sympathy as you can. If you can put yourself there, I might be able to route some heavy psychometric clairvoyance through... It's possible I could get Riku fitted out with enough psychosympathetic connection to reach Kei!"

If the man consents, it's a fast application of a door and a rapid astral yank to pull Riku through, to that planet whose name is lost to time and whose orbit was once known only to Kei, but whose memory Flamel has managed to extract. It might be dozens of subjective minutes for Riku to wander the desolate surface in relayed clairvoyance, but once Flamel pumps psychometry through the link, there's even a chance Riku might be able to get at least some flashes of what actually happened to Kei's homeworld. If not... Well, he's stolen plenty of memories from Kei. He's got the tape he made for the AIB. He can improvise with just Riku, if he has to.

    ---

The Director picks up the phone at his desk, and begins to speak to Riku. "Fukuide is in despair. He is suffering." He explains. "And you can't reach him if you are too high above him. You're saintly. You're blessed. Miracles follow in your footsteps, in his eyes. So to be kind, you have to tear yourself down. Feel the same misery he feels." He shifts in his chair, looking to a dozen screens. "Put that misery in your mind, that despair, and then, with all your own might, defeat it truly. That's how you can teach him to defeat it himself. Do you understand?" With one free hand, he places a stack of paper into a fax machine. "I'm going to try to give you that pain. But it's going to be up to you to hold it close enough to your heart to know it, and be strong enough to make peace with it. Otherwise, you'll only ever be a terrible miracle to him."

"You can't let yourself be so giant that you can't hold him close."

    ---

Hopefully that little maneuver is going to work. He's really not sure how to approach this with the type of 'goodness' people are asking for otherwise.
Sarracenia      Sarracenia feels like she has been of little help to Riku in the talking department, so she goes to focus her efforts on the area she has been helpful.

Beating her head against brick walls, as Lilian once put it.

Unlike Sarracenia, the Sundew Sovereign takes quite a bit of time to repair. And taking a kaiju beam to the proverbial face did not do it any favors. It was able to just barely leave the area after the last battle, but it is currently in the repair dock back at the Sundew Kingdom.

Sarra does have a dozen other airships, but they are not as sturdy as the Sovereign. So, once she received word that Pedanium Zetton was waking, Sarra brought in two of her rank and file airships that had been helping with evacuation before. They are much more normal-looking compared to the flagship, looking like typical (but still rather large) wooden sailing ships of the galleon variety. They are slightly smaller as well, and lack the golden decor of the flagship.

Of course, the important thing is that they still have dozens of cannons ready to rain fire down on Zetton. Sarra wishes the others luck before heading toward the monster.

If Flamel is joining the Kei stopping team, Sarra is more than willing to offer an airship as a psychokinetic kaiju.

But, she doesn't want to miss out on things Sui is saying, so her red and gold ladybug drone (courtesy of Meresankh) remains with Riku and Sui. Sarra never really asked if the beetle could broadcast her voice, though.

As the cart pulls away, the two airships move to flank with Shira and open fire on Zetton. Bullet Bills by the dozen track him, exploding on impact, while Sarra marvels at Shira's sudden growth spurt. She knew that Shira could do this, but she hadn't -seen- Shira do this. And now she will get to see a kaiju battle again!
Petra Soroka     This is *such* annoying timing for Petra. Being already right here in the city when Pendanium Zetton awoke again, it's so difficult for her to justify not doing anything about the big monster rampaging through to get to the spot where she happens to be already. Interrogating her moral center about this, she finds it mostly empty of reasons to fight Kei, and more importantly, empty of motivation. She's not exactly in the business of rolling up to fight someone just because they look evil and she happened to be attached to the blob of evil-punching do-gooders in the area at the time.

But the next level of situational processing that she always has to double check is the metaphorical bracelet that reads 'What Would Lilian Do?'. Querying her behavioral faith, she knows immediately that Lilian would sigh and get to her feet and do something to save lives whether she wants to or not. So Petra sighs, and then sighs and gets to her feet, as the building shakes around them.

"Whatever, man. I'm so well behaved. Humanity should be thanking me on their hands and knees every time I pass by. Couldn't he have just, like, waited?"

"Yup. Is this about that girl?"

Petra is sitting on the side of the cart, waiting with Angela to get a little closer before moving to Fukuide. Sui gets a disapproving frown as he says that, with the Silver in Petra's hands briefly tensing into a crystalline spike. "Dog, you better not fucking use your powers to spy on girls. I don't care who. I swear to god I'll blow your house up if you do that."

On that kind and helpful note, Petra cracks her pendant to shatter the mirror in an inverted geyser, unfolding the Beauty of Ash into the world. With the mech out, it lands on two feet and picks up the entire cart that Sui is in, before any of Pendanium Zetton's lighting can crash into it.

For whatever reason, there's no telepathy coming from the Beauty of Ash as a substitute for speech today. Without that, it becomes even more apparent how eerily quiet it is in its movements, and how nakedly expressive every motion it makes is. The gentle scrape of telekinetically-propelled legs against the asphalt swivels the mech and the cart held above its head in the angle directly towards where the elevator can retrieve Sui, and a slight forward tilt to the machine silently communicates its intent to sprint before it does so.

When it takes off, it's more like an arrow than a car, zipping through the air at full speed the moment it moves rather than needing to accelerate. Jumpstarting Sui's escape attempt, it beelines to cut diagonally past hills and across roads to bring the cart as close to the destination as she can get it before Pendanium Zetton's threat is too immediately close for her to ignore.
Angela Angela has determined that she will be keeping an eye on Riku's activities and determine for herself how she should feel about him. Petra? Ultimately Petra was right. Ultraman Geed isn't a passive participant in the Ultraman Geed show sponsored by Bandai. But where does that leave her when Kei Fukuide is rampaging through the city and causing all sorts of damage and terror? Angela isn't exactly the sort of person to stop a kaiju rampage but after all that talk about Riku taking some responsibility, she'd feel a bit hypocritical if she just left it to Roland whom she has decided that she does kind of care about the wellbeing of.

Ultimately, though, what she is going to do here is dependent on Petra because she still can't be all that far from her.

And so--

''Whatever, man. I'm so well behaved. Humanity should be thanking me on their hands and knees every time I pass by.''

"Thank you, Petra." Angela says, though she doesn't get on her hands and knees. "You're being quite generous and gracious."

She follows after Petra, having gotten pretty good at leashing herself to the woman on excursions like this compared to early on when she would occassionally pull away or linger behind before the potential consequences occured.

''I swear to god I'll blow your house up if you do that.''

"Petra's threats are not idle. I understand if you feel they may be idle because of how she phrases them, but they are quite serious and you should take them as such." And then she thinks of what Petra had just said about humanity. "You should get on your hands and knees and thank her for being so well behaved."

Instead of presumably not giving Sui that warning and just blowing up his house on the spot.

Angela draws out an EGO from an Abnormality Page and clenches it around her fist. A gold and black dress with a hexagonal pattern appears around her as her hair is pulled back into a ponytail and four insectoid wings sprout from her back as she flits through the street to follow after Petra. She's not quite as mobile as Petra but she is rather fast with this particular EGO Gear so she should be able to stay reasonably close all the same. So far, this is what she's content with herself doing but she does have some other pages she can use should the Keiju get too close. But not as many as she'd like. She's been relying on her pages a lot lately and she's running low.
Riku Asakura Riku nods to Shira as she goes to slow down Pedanium Zetton. "Good luck," he says before continuing to pull the cart along the path.  Meresankh's scarab is taken after a brief stop.  "Thank you. Hopefully we can get there before too long."  Though Flamel talks to him next...

'Dog, you better not fucking use your powers to spy on girls.'

Sui waves his hands, giving a good-natured laugh.  "No no, I wouldn't do that."  He's serious about this, of course.  He was only teasing Riku about his treatment of Moa.  Riku climbs into the cart at the same time Petra transforms into the Beauty of Ash, carrying them both to safety.  Though when Angela pitches in for Petra's threat, Sui nods.  On his knees, not that the cart gives him much room to do anything else, he does thank Petra.

He wants to get Sui out of here, but right now it's also important to try to understand Fukuide.  He looks towards Sui for a moment, who nods to Flamel.  "Then we're counting on you to hold him off here until I get back," Riku says to Flamel, before turning his gaze towards Sui, his would-be adoptive father.

Sui throws his senses out into the Universe, slowly homing in on those coordinates that Flamel gave him.  To Planet Sturm itself.  The planet, still burning to this day, sits in a solar system far away.  Riku closes his eyes and takes the door into Sui, which of course takes him to Sturm.

'And you can't reach him if you are too high above him.'

"I understand," Riku says to The Director.  It wasn't just about feeling what he felt, but understanding what it feels like to lose that much.  Despite everything he's gone through, there have been people for him here.
Riku Asakura On the surface, he gets to watch the planet progress in time.  It was once a beautiful world; their mastery of physics was second to none.  Their society, while still having its own issues, was beautiful.  However, there were jealous aliens, ones that wanted to conquer their planet and take their technology for themselves.

The Dada.

Known conquerors, these aliens took what they wanted from other species.  To this day, they are enemies of the AIB for their warlike nature, but the Dada did not fare well during Omega Armageddon, the precursor to the event that would bring about Crisis Impact, the event that nearly destroyed the entire universe they are in now.  The event that took Ultraman King's sacrifice to stop.

It's here that Riku sees the terrible war that destroyed Planet Sturm.  A weapon was developed by the Sturm to defend themselves and their world from the Dada, but...

The image Riku sees is enough to nearly drop the young man to his knees.  Something went wrong: a shockwave enveloped the planet.  Fire set to everything that could be set on fire; no amount of firefighting could stop it.  The weapon they developed to stop the Dada ended up destroying them.

Riku has to suffer that pain, that loss... he has to shoulder the years that follow.  The sense of loneliness, of guilt for being the only one to survive.  The desire to die, but not being able to take his own life.  Of having no purpose but the hollow feeling of survival to see the next day.

That is until...

Belial.
Riku Asakura Back on Earth, however, Pedanium Zetton continues his rampage right towards the source of the Little Star.  Even as Shira grows into an impressive Kaiju-esque being and throws her spikes at him, the injury he suffers seems to cause sparks to fly off of his body.  He keeps marching, even as cannons from the various ships rain across his body.

To these challenges, the Kaiju screeches and once more releases a barrage of electrical shocks towards both Shira and Sarracenia's ships.  The electrical energy arcs, aiming to then crash into both Meresankh and Flamel.  Sadly for Kei, Angela and Petra are too far away...

Until it blinks out of existence, appearing a LOT closer a second later.  It releases a ball of energy at both Angela and Petra, aiming to hinder their escape.  The giant monster continues his path of destruction...

Unable to handle it anymore, Sui, for the first time, acts more urgently and less relaxed.  He grabs Riku by the shoulders.  "You can't keep doing this!  He's after me, and the others can protect me, but if you're here..."

"But..."

At this point, Sui grabs Riku's face, tenderly like a concerned parent would.  "Riku..." he pauses, "That's the name my wife and I came up with.  We thought we'd name our own son that when he was born.  A name that'd represent having your feet on the ground, standing firm.  So that no matter what trouble he'd run into, he'd stand up again.  That is what we wanted it to mean!"

More explosions and balls of energy are thrown; even during this moment, Fukuide can't seem to let Riku have anything.  "This planet needs you!  I'm not going to live much longer, anyway!  You need to get out of here!"

"I'm not going to run!" Riku immediately says.  "I can't abandon anyone in need; that means both you... AND Fukuide."

"Riku, I'm begging you...live!"  He says, so worried that the son he never had was about to throw his life away to try and save another's soul.  In this moment, a green light starts to shine in Sui's chest.  The light, the Little Star, starts to glow brightly, departing from Sui and falling into the Ultra Capsule holder that Riku still has on him.
Shira     Shira, being the only one not in on the whole conversation happening in the Cart due to a lack of spy gear or physically being there, lets out another bone-rattling roar after her spikes hit. Yeah, pay attention to me! I'm in your way! she seems to say just with that noise and her posture, hunched forward with her arms out and ready. The bioluminescent spots shining between her spines almost seem brighter than before.

Electricity isn't something she's especially resistant to. When shocked, Shira leans forward and slams her clawed hands into the roadway in front of herself, trying to ground it out while riding out the pain and ensuring she doesn't fall over or convulse too much. There isn't much to be done about her tail, twitching and jolting from side to side, the spikes on the end clenching and relaxing until the charge finally dissipates.

Then Pedanium Zetton teleports. Well, that makes stopping it or slowing it down or even just getting in its way a *lot* harder.

Shira hauls herself back to her feet, using one of the low-rises to help pull herself up. Firmly, she grasps onto the building with both hands and wrenches it. The sturdy steel frame holds, barely, as she rips the three story structure up by its foundation like a weed and hauls it up in both hands. She can already feel the building straining to hold its shape, so she acts as quickly as she dares; closing several paces before she smashes the building over Pedanium Zetton's head and shoulders in a blast of shattering concrete and metal.

Fortunately, thanks to the various efforts of evacuation since the cyber-kaiju's initial attack, the building was unoccupied.
Meresankh     Pedanium Zetton's lightning clashes with Meresankh's again and again, forked bolts colliding like hydras locked in a battle to the death. Meresankh is *always* ready to have a beam clash, but with the power of six entire Ultra Capsules Kei's lightning is formidable indeed. Although her supply of power is limitless (limitless! muahahahaha!), the amount she can output at once has its upper bound, somewhere. This stalemate will break eventually.

Meresankh ponders her options, calculations running through her mind at unfathomable rates just to monitor and match Pedanium Zetton's growing power. At last something comes to her. Pedanium Zetton inverts positive energy into negative, growing stronger as it is attacked. What if there were no energy present at all? Meresankh had been trying to outpace the acceleration of Kei's Sturm Organ, but what if she *stopped* feeding it?

Meresankh grasps her scepter in both hands and releases the astral tethers on her teammates, needing all of her focus and power for this next move. Pedanium Zetton's energy blasts creep closer and closer to her, almost converging on her location as she reroutes and stores power until...

It happens without a sound. All around Meresankh, in a field that encloses most of Pedanium Zetton as well, the flaring energies disperse and die as she inverts the flow of power from her scepter - instead of a tremendous outpouring of energy, it becomes a sinkhole in local spacetime. The light atop the scepter dies, as do all other sources of light in the field. The sun's rays stop at the edge of the sphere of total darkness.

Within, the temperature grows ever closer to absolute zero - a near-total lack of energy and entropy. Ice crystals creeps over Meresankh's chassis. The light in her eyes dims. She just needs to hold on long enough to drain Pedanium Zetton's power, or to let someone else step in...
Flamel Parsons     Flamel walks solemnly with Riku, through Sui's perception, through his psychometric reading of the past, up to the arrival of Belial. Burdening Riku with all of this... "I'm only able to give you fragments, bits and pieces. At this distance, really, this is a thousandth of what Kei feels daily." He adjusts his sunglasses nervously. "I have a theory about Smash Moon Healing. My theory goes, it draws on *your* internal reserve of psychic energy, to supplement the target's and help them fight off psychohazards. This is, I suppose, 'non-invasive psychic healing'. Usually, it uses the energy of the Ultra Capsules. But nothing you have is enough to stop this, capsules or no. So you need to have what you need to stop it inside you."

"Think of it like producing antibiotics. By exposing your strong mind to the pain he experienced, you can form the mental energies you need to fight his psychohazard, or at least put it into remission. But only if you bring yourself to where he was. Expose yourself to the same psychohazard, and fight it off with your psychological immune system. That'll give you the antibodies, that'll give you the energies you need. And if you get them... well, Smash Moon Healing will work, or it won't." He smiles weakly. "And it might even work without Smash Moon... But only if you can solve his pain's root."

He squats near Riku, pointing up at Belial. "'The universe is two things: Pointless sacrifice, or hostile cruelty.' That is the absolute truth that Kei learns, in the destruction of Sturm. That's the absolute fact. Now, here's Belial, a 'solution' for that truth. A being that says, 'no, there is purpose, and there is kindness, and I offer it in only the height of sacrifice and cruelty.' That truth only offers one way out, and that's what Belial is." In that mindscape, he places his hand on Riku's shoulder, and grips firmly. "How is that not true?"

"There is nobody here for you. There's nobody to save you. Nobody left worth saving. Nobody you remember beyond the pain of losing them. Nobody you could meet who won't despise you. So what do you draw on? In your heart and mind, where is the solution where you don't kneel before Belial? What's the way you can see him as anything besides your only way out of here? Look deep, kid. Look as deep as you can for the answer and light it up."

"Sheesh, at least this time it's not..." He mutters quietly to himself, slicking his hair back. Back on the business.
Petra Soroka     Setting the cart down, the Beauty of Ash takes a moment to recover from the sudden sprint. On all fours, it stretches like a cat, silent movements accompanied by the quiet tinkling of glass twisting and cracking like cartilage. It shakes its head at Sui with a little flick of its floating ears, like an unspokenly amused scoff at him actually getting on his knees.

Flamel's plan is one Petra has mixed feelings about, precisely because of how simply appealing it is to her base brain. The Beauty of Ash prowls around the cart as Flamel sets up the psychoportal, on guard from any debris that Pendanium Zetton incidentally flings their way, but the eye glitters through the crack in its face to watch the portal.

In a bandage-making sense, forcing Riku to have psychic sympathy for Fukuide's suffering is... probably, just a good choice, both morally and practically. If it's 'parasitic', then Petra's really got no room to protest anyways. During the stretch of however many minutes Riku is stuck in there, tiny shifts in the Beauty of Ash's posture settle a little more relaxed than it was, coming to terms with the plan.

That is, until Pendanium Zetton teleports, and she's suddenly put on the defensive.

The Beauty of Ash blinks and flickers backwards, roughly shoving the cart away behind it when the blast of energy craters the street where she was. Its head floats backwards to check over its shoulder at Sui, then the mech pushes up and away, zipping into the sky to combat the kaiju. Less than a quarter of the height of Pendanium Zetton, despite being twice the size of a person, the Beauty of Ash is on the back foot immediately, joining the others in slowing down his advance.

After Shira hurls a building into his head, the Beauty of Ash darts through the cloud of concrete dust to impact like a spear, shattering on collision. The chipped-away skeleton of the mech pulls back again, and the spray of hardlight flechettes retreat through the air with it, sparking off of the kaiju in a constant hail. The mech dives underneath a retaliatory beam of energy, carving a trough into the street where it lands, then slices the bases of several light poles and launches them one after the other with telekinetic swipes.

On all fours, the mech glances back to Riku and Sui, tense posture asking whether Riku has gotten his shit together enough to help yet.
Sarracenia      'Whatever, man. I'm so well behaved. Humanity should be thanking me on their hands and knees every time I pass by.'

Sarra rolls her eyes so hard that the ladybug drone rolls over. "...You cannot be serious..." Sarra mutters. Which comes through the ladybug, of course. "You may be much better behaved than in the past, but that is no reason for people to thank you when being well behaved is just a normal expectation." The ladybug drone raises a foreleg up and down in emphasis of Sarra's words.

Lightning arcs down the sides of both Sundew ships, and both have a gash blown into their sides just before the Keiju teleports. Sarra hangs on to the railing of her ship, then blinks in surprise and dismay. "After him! Now!" she demands, and both ships move to intercept. Bullet Bills fly like flocks of birds toward Zetton, and as they close in they open the large doors on their undersides and prepare to fire Banzai Bills. Those explosions are pretty large, but surely no larger than the kaiju itself.

'I'm not going to run! I can't abandon anyone in need; that means both you... AND Fukuide.'
     'Riku, I'm begging you...live!'

Ladybug Sarra turns to watch as the Little Star is transferred to Riku. Then, Sarra giggles confidently over its radio. "Mister Sui, you can see many things. Surely you can see that Riku will not fail in this, especially with the help of his friends! Not to mention your support and your Star! Do not forget, the most important thing is to never give up!" Is Sarra really saying these hero things again so soon?
Flamel Parsons     The vision ended. Flamel and Riku move on in the real world, deal or no deal they have business to focus on.

He's rushing fast, hands up. Telekinetics are a poor substitute for an Ultraman. Not one at all, in fact, especially if it takes more than a few seconds or involves more than a few energy balls and beams and other suchlike. "Riku! This is a Geed-solutions-only situation!" He calls out, tone rising as he tries to bare-hand grapple with incoming energy blasts and blast away at Zetton with his brain-blasts. He doesn't have nearly enough time to get a plan together to keep Zetton from crashing right into Sui's area...!
Angela Angela is kind of surprised Sui actually gets on his knees even if it's because he's scooching onto the cart. Well, they were pretty particular about the ask here. At least she doesn't scoff at him or anything, but she can't stop her one singular eyebrow raising at him actually doing the deed.

Unexpectedly, a ball of energy is launched at Angela and Petra! She draws out her book moments before the energy ball strikes her and she shatters into glass! As the smoke and dust fade, though, Angela's wearing a glass cloth suit for a moment, one that's vaguely opaque, before she summons her EGO suit back--transforming back into the Hornet EGO Armor she had been previously using.

r"Hahh...was caught off guard with that one." Angela admits quietly, gesturing as she launches the glass shards back at the kaiju as she pushes back towards the Beauty of Ash. There isn't exactly a visible chain linking between them, but it's likely obvious enough she's not eager to stay too far from Petra for long even without knowing about the methods Angela is using to be able to leave the tower.

''You can't keep doing this!''

Angela's gaze turns towards Riku and Sui. She thinks about Hokma, because that's who she tends to think of first when she thinks of fathers. So Sui gave him the name. She supposes that makes sense, if Belial had named him it'd probably be like Lucifer or something a little silly like that. She can't keep getting angry just because others had better parents than she did, she knows, but just because her brain knows it doesn't mean that she can't feel that old bitterness rise up in the back of her throat anyway. What would Lilian do? She'd probably do the damn job and just be unhappy about it, she supposes.

But it hits a little closer to home because she knows that Ultramen are beings of Light, and seeing that little spark being passed on from father to son rather than taken away, is just the awful icing on the bitter pill she's swallowing. She lets out a long exhale as she thinks, once again, why is she here? What does she owe the people of this city? Nothing at all. He already has everything that he needs, he's covered in blessings from head to toe despite him being a 'so called orphan'.

She thinks she finally understands why Kei can't stand Riku. Maybe that idea of Flamel's is right. Will it work out? Angela understands the idea of building a better world than you have experienced, but she just can't imagine doing that with her own two hands. A better world is too far away on the hierarchy of needs from living free to just fuck off and go wherever she wants whenever she wants.

So she watches to see what happens next so she can see what exactly it's all like with her own two eyes.
Riku Asakura In the Mindspace...

Riku walks with Flamel on the ruins of Sturm.  At that moment, he sees his father, Ultraman Belial, give his hand to Fukuide.  As Flamel explains the psychic element to his Smash Moon Healing, or rather Tidal Moon Healing as it's been corrected now, Riku thinks on this.  To him, it was always drawing on the powers of other Ultramen... but if there is something it unlocks in him...?  Then could he do something in any form?  Even if it's not the straight healing that Arco Smasher provides?

'What's the way you can see him as anything besides your only way out of here?'

But in that moment, where he thinks on Fukuide's worst pain, is there a path?  What would he have done in Fukuide's position?  He's always had friends, family, and others to lean on.  Where would he be now without any of that?  "I think I'd still wish for others to walk with me... to not be alone.  Even if childish, I knew what it was like to be without family, to be... alone even when I was surrounded by people.  Though there were people who wouldn't let me be alone."

"He needs someone who truly cares about him to reach their hand out to them."
Riku Asakura Back in physical space, Riku has his answer.  He has his name, his reason for being named who he was today.  He has people who believe in him, people who helped guide him to this moment.  Set down by Petra, Sui lets go of Riku, knowing what the light means.

Sui looks towards the Ladybug and is wordless for a moment.  It's true, he saw into the loneliness of Fukuide for a moment.  "...Right," he says towards Sarracenia, and then to Riku, he just nods once.  There isn't anything more he can say; it seems to him that Riku has a solution... a reason.

The building slams into the head of Pedanium Zetton, causing the larger kaiju to stagger.  He turns to Shira, claws already moving as he aims to try and catch her by the neck and hold her up.  Those claws dig deep, trying to find purchase on her before attempting to toss her, not too gently, into the nearest building.

More bullet bills collide with Zetton, causing dangerous-looking sparks to rain off of him, and staggering the Kaiju again.  He turns towards the airships, and once more elects to use the electrical energy in a wave towards those damned bombarding annoyances.  However, the energy doesn't just attempt to electrocute people; instead, it digs into the ground below them, aiming to literally cause buildings to spike up at the airships from below... where they don't have vision.

The Beauty of Ash crashes into Pedanium Zetton; the initial shattering and flechettes pierce all across his body before being pulled back into the form of the mech.  It roars in pain, only to fire a beam that misses her, and only for more retaliation in the form of light poles being thrown at him.  One of his claws immediately swipes at a nearby building, aiming to try and drop the sides of several buildings on Petra, which might bury her!

Flamel gets into the thick of fighting with brain blasts and telekinetic hands.  Remembering Flamel /keenly/ Pedanium Zetton starts to surge with people.  A large ball of energy forms at the center of Pedanium Zetton's chest.  It then fires, tearing up the asphalt and concrete of the road as it races towards Flamel, trying to take revenge for everything he has done!

Angela's shards of glass break into the armor of the monster.  More pain, more suffering!  The showering sparks rain across the city from the strikes, forcing Pedanium Zetton to try and shield himself with his claws before detecting where the shards are coming from.  Red lightning is directed towards her, tearing through the ground, as he attempts to fry her.
Riku Asakura Meresankh's power forces Pedanium Zetton to stop in his tracks. The energy is /litterally/ sucked out of the world where he is, and he is trapped in an area of pure darkness.   Even as she pours her own power into it, it's enough to keep him from destroying anything else for a period of time.  Time that is needed by Riku and Flamel to get to the center of Fukuide's pain and suffering.  To come up with an answer.

Pedanium Zetton surges with power, even as he's drained by the tear into him, pushing himself beyond the boundary of the darkness.  It's slow at first, but then it gathers momentum, until he finally tears through enough to teleport the rest of the distance.  This drains him terribly, forcing him to take a sort of 'bent over' position, as if he were drained of power.

Riku looks toward the Beauty of Ash and nods.

"You go!" he says, activating the Ultraman Zero capsule.  Sliding it into the capsule holder, he grabs the new capsule.  "I go!" he continues; this time it's the Father of Ultra capsule that is activated.  Sliding it into the holder, he grabs the Fusion Riser, "Here we go!" He says, scanning each capsule.  He pulls the Fusion Riser into the air, above his head. "I'll defend hope!" he says, and then brings it down over his chest.  "GEEEEEEEEED!"  He shouts as blue and white energy tears out from him.

FUSION RISE!
ULTRAMAN ZERO
FATHER OF ULTRA
ULTRAMAN GEED MAGNIFICENT!

Growing into the giant of light once more, Geed is in a new form not seen before.  Silver, blue, and red, and there are two large horns on his head.  Not only that, there are red spikes on each shoulder.  In his full size, he looks back once more to look at the people that got him there, before he marches towards Pedanium Zetton, immediately grappling him and trying to push him back, away from Sui and any evacuating civilians.

"Fukuide, are you still in there?!" Geed calls out to Pedanium Zetton.  Even as the two break apart, Zetton attempts a barrage of various energy attacks, each one blocked or deflected by Geed.  Despite this, somewhere in the fight there is a psychic impression of both Riku and Fukuide.

Riku is surrounded by the blue and white energy inside Geed.  Whereas Fukuide is surrounded by red and black energy.  "Master Belial, what can this child possibly do!?" he cries out, both shirtless and sweating profusely.  Probably a sign of how damaged he is because of the power of the Ultra Capsules inside him.

"Stop it!  Fukuide, you're obviously hurt right now.  Give up and let us help you before you die!  I know the pain you're going through, the loneliness.  The only way you think you have value is through Ultraman Belial, but it's not true.  /You/ have value!"

"Shut up!  Shut up!  Shut up!  How can a child like you understand anything!?"
Meresankh     When Pedanium Zetton nearly comes to a halt, Meresankh knows her ploy worked. As it forces its way out the other side, slowly, then picking up speed enough to teleport away, Meresankh finally releases the energy-drain field. Air and light and heat rush into the vacuum with a sound like a thunderclap, and Meresankh blacks out for a moment.

Waking as she falls, she teleports to Geed's side, steadying herself in the air. It's only after she's in position to team up with what she expects to be Ultraman Arch Necros that she realizes Geed revealed a new form while she was out!

"A new transformation! Such power...!" she exclaims aloud. As Kei and Geed exchange their desperate pleas - Fukuide's to his master, Riku's to his rival - Meresankh channels her scepter's returning power into Riku. Geed Magnificent is less compatible with her supply of energy than Arch Necros, but probably feels more natural for Riku.

While she focuses on a newly-forged astral tether to Ultraman Geed Magnificent, Meresankh calls out for one of her allies. "Agent Parsons! Can you show Kei what Riku has seen now?" She zips and dodges around in the air, trying to keep herself safe while Geed grapples with Pedanium Zetton and, perhaps, Flamel helps Riku reach out to Kei.
Shira     Snatching Shira by the throat uncovers something: It's *really* hard to choke her due to the arrangement of her neck plates. She is still lifted relatively easily, lacking the sheer mass of other kaiju this height as a result of her more lanky humanlike proportions. Just as easily, she's thrown, smashing into a structure in the middle of an instinctive midair twist-correction.

She gets stuck there for a moment; the spikes on her back lodged into the structure just enough that her feet can't touch the ground. In her wriggling and thrashing, she finally breaks loose after Riku's new transformation is complete.

When she speaks on the radio, it isn't reflected by speaking in person. What comes out of the colossal kaijusapien is a more predictable metal-grinding growl while she assesses the situation. Ultraman Geed is already trying to push Pendanium Zetton back-- towards her, back towards where Meresankh had that awful feeling void space set up, though it's gone now.

Kei seems to be focused on Riku, and by extension Pendanium Zetton is focused on Ultraman Geed. Tilting her head forward, Shira takes advantage of this by embracing a time-honored giant monster battle tradition.

She doesn't use her kaiju powers, she just grabs on to Pedanium Zetton from the back with both arms. Her tail darts forward, low, and grabs onto the cyber-kaiju's leg. In a swift motion, she pushes up top and pulls down below in an attempt to bring the heavier monster down into the start of a wrestling pin. It'll take her a moment to reposition and get the grab right, which Pedanium Zetton might be able to use to escape.
Sarracenia      Buildings spike upward at the airships. The Banzai Bill launchers that had just been lowered take the brunt of the hit. Though the massive cannons are hardly damaged themselves, they are smashed upward into the ships' holds. Sarra goes a bit pale as the cannons let out a deep KA-THUNK as the shark-faced Banzai Bills slide into place...with the giant cannons now stuck inside the ships. "Do not fire! Do not fire!"

As it turns out, not firing is a good thing! Riku transforms into Ultraman Geed Magnificent, and Sarra's eyes sparkle. "Riku! I knew you would find a way!!" she exclaims happily. But, not being able to fire makes things a bit tricky. With Geed and Shira attempting close quarters, bombarding is out. Do Sarra or the airships have a movement control option?

Well, there is one other thing that the ships carry, but it hasn't been used since Sarra's days of setting up random towers to get rescued from by heroes. So, perhaps it is ironically fitting that she tries to use it now as a way to help a hero?

The airships fly in close, and the other sections on the underside of the hull open as the ships begin to orbit Zetton from above. And...prefabricated structure pieces start to fall from the ships, somehow landing in perfect position to form two stone towers on either side of Fukuide in an attempt to help pin him down and limit his movements.

While the ships are doing this, Sarra pulls out a megaphone from her purse. "Fukuide! I cannot say I understand how you feel, but we did see what happened to your world! I cannot imagine all of what it has been like for you since then, but I do understand some parts of it! Like loneliness! When you are lonely, you will do almost anything to not feel it! And...and when it seems like you have nothing, someone reaching out to you, even someone who might be bad, it is like being saved from drowning! You want to hold that lifeline tightly and never let it go! But...your lifeline was also a noose! And Belial wants to do the same thing to this world that those terrible aliens did to yours! You know what that feels like, right?! Are you sure you want to inflict that on someone else?!"

Sarra points toward Geed Magnificent. "And now, Riku is willing to reach out to you! With light instead of darkness! You two are practically brothers! Would it not be nice to be in the light again with your brother instead of lost in darkness with an abusive father?!"
Angela Angela is more ready for the assault this time, bouncing away from the red lightning bolts moments before they strike her down. Each one of those blasts could fry her if she wasn't in her EGO, but even with it--she's already used too many pages dealing with this man and those pages are valuable to Angela. But perhaps she's been using the wrong tools, Angela thinks, as clearly this this calls for In The Love And Hate, but she feels a little strange about relying on Love's power when she can usually just ask Love for help--but she puts that thought aside as she realizes Love would probably be tickled pink if she actually caught her using her EGO.

She sighs, flipping throuhg the pages of her EGO Book before ultimately drawing the star patterned staff out from within. A sparkly pink glow as Angela expertly twirls the staff around in her hand like she memorized the whole sequence as a pink glow erupts around her as the pink and magenta skirt and corset appear around her, along with the heart clip in her hair. When using this EGO she looks almost identical to Love herself.

"Kei." Angela says to Fukuide. "I can show you the moment Belial decided to create Riku if you enlist Flamel's aid. I haven't forgotten my time spent with him. I am unable to forget. I understand what it is like to experience intense isolation only to be rescued from it by someone you wish to devote yourself to. But you are correct. You are fighting a child right now and his suffering cannot compare even if he has had similar feelings. That does not mean he deserves eradication or that of this world's." She pauses and adds, "Allow me to give you a gift, Kei. I will gift you my experience of the last time I saw your Master Belial."

And then she closes her eyes, a bit dangerously considering this is a battle zone, but it's easier to position the memories into her surface this way. She can't engage in telepathy herself--she has to rely on Flamel here--but maybe the fax can be of assistance.

''Ultraman B: A side scene''

"A copy without me or Reiblood's baggage. Then it would be fine if I were put into suspension, correct?"

It might take Kei, or some fenagling on Flamel's part, to actually focus on the memory as it is still one that is taking place at thoughts a hundred times faster than the events actually unfolding and Angela's memory includes the minutes and minutes of thinking she is doing during every sentence on Ultraman Belial's part.

"In my experience, they'll still be bound to you two in some capacity, but yes--A copy can be made without the corruption. This will not help you, however. The copy may even deem you an enemy someday ... I am living proof that it is possible but it is as you say, they will be their own entity. I would think on the matter from your 'copy's' perspective first."

And then excruciatingly slowly Belial responds, eventually getting to one final statement.

"No... if I were to do this, there can be no other motives... It must be because I wish for a son to not live with either the burden of the Ultras... nor that of the Reiblood."
Angela ''My Name p3''

Angela opens her eyes. "The Belial that rescued you--he would want you to assist Riku be free of these burdens even if it meant you being his enemy. You can be furious about that, or you can accept that the inspiration and creator taken from the both of you would have wanted you to work with Riku rather than against him. And perhaps together, you can be the ones to free Belial from his curse and receive all the blessings you are due. It is not as immediately satisfying as burning this place to the ground, but that happy ending is still within your reach, Kei."

Angela throws a peace sign across her right eye, staring at the Keiju. "That is my magical girl lesson of the day. "If I were you, I'd seize the opportunity. You can always kill him later if it doesn't work out."
Flamel Parsons     Flamel doubles over, hands on his thighs, panting with the recovery effort. He looks up in time to see Ultraman Geed Magnificent... "Pauldrons...!" He says, eyebrows raising and smile widening. "And *insight*!" He breaks into a run, then a levitating glide, then he digs deep on his own heart!

He *doesn't* understand what Riku just figured out! It's beyond his own mind to solve that particular problem with that particular answer. And, well, that's why Riku is Riku, and why Flamel is Flamel, isn't it? Still, he can dig into that confusion, and pull it out of his heart and his head -- as disorienting confusion-bombs to slow Zetton down!

    ---

The Parsons Institute beeps and boops at its Communications Department. A fax comes through, and then another, and then another -- a transcript, heavily redacted. A dozen men rush to phones and consoles, shouting through lines, demanding things. Not long after, a pneumatic tube emits a soft 'THOOMP', and a capsule pops open. A tape. A clerk grabs it and rushes it to the Broadcast Department.

    ---

Flamel's psychic relay -- is non-invasive. The message sent to Kei, deep within the red and the dark, is only offered if he accepts it. For this encounter, just this once, he has listened to Riku, and he depends on Geed. No psychic invasion. Amid the confusion meant to slow him down, there's a message, on behalf of someone who wants to be kind to him. So hopefully that gets through. But it would be just as easy to reject it.

Not the slowing confusion though. Gotta open him up to a decent healing. Or at least a decent slug to the face. One way or another, get those Capsules back!!
Petra Soroka     Beneath the clashing forms of New Geed and Pedanium Zetton, the Beauty of Ash dashes along the road dodging the collapsing buildings to either side. Its nose scoops underneath Angela to pick her up, then leaps to skim across the surface of the asphalt, just barely being missed by a brick wall peeling off of where Pedanium Zetton struck it.

Skidding around to face back towards the giants, the Beauty of Ash's feet leave compass-scars in the street, coming to a stop nearby Flamel for Angela to psychically commune with. Something about Riku's conversation with Fukuide, once Fukuide's actually exposed enough to converse with, triggers a nagging impulse in Petra that causes her to break the lull of comfortable animalistic silence the Beauty of Ash has lapsed into.

But it's Angela especially, who follows the tongue-in-cheek advice Petra gave her about revealing her entanglement with Riku's past, that makes this shouting at a villain more tolerable. On an instinctual level, Petra would shy away from joining in on any group demanding compassion from a villain during a violent crash out, but Angela comes from a place of understanding Kei better than even Petra does.

<It's really fine to put all your personal value into the guy who saved you,> The telepathic broadcast from the mech comes across like psychosomatic plastic splinters and cold static. <But what are you really accomplishing by sacrificing yourself to die just like this?>

"Dying destructively just like everyone else you knew means you just meet the same fate, and... even if that's sort of cathartic, it means that the future's not going to have any part of the world you knew anymore. If you can't live for the future, at least a little bit, then the rest of your world dies with you, just for a moment of revenge against some punk kid.>
Riku Asakura Ultraman Geed is enhanced by Meresankh, able to better weather the back-and-forth blows between the two titans.  It's unfortunate for the city, but Riku is so focused on Fukuide right now.  It's at this moment that Shira grapples onto the drained Pedanium Zetton, dropping the larger kaiju to the ground and managing to grapple him.

Zetton attempts to struggle, not making it easy on Shira, not one bit.  Fortunately, she's not alone.  Sarracenia immediately drops supplies down, forming them into two towers to try and further restrict Pedanium Zetton's movements.  Even as these people speak to Fukuide, all the man inside the monster can do is scream back.

"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MY PAIN!" he screams back at them.  "You never have come close to feeling what I have, even if your pet psychic has scrowered my mind about my home.  About being saved by Master Belial!"

"Fukuide!  Stop, you're just hurting yourself even more.  Listen to them, please!" Riku shouts back, trying to hold the Kaiju down while the others talk to him.

However, it is Angela, with the help of Flamel, who provides the perspective that Fukuide has never had.  A younger Belial.  A Belial not consumed by hate, or by the corruption of the Reiblood.  The genuine desire to create an heir that could carry on his legacy without the all-consuming hatred of the Ultras and their ways, or without the legacy of the Reiblood.

He was even willing to have himself sealed, to even be destroyed by the creation he wanted to make.
Riku Asakura 'The Belial that rescued you--he would want you to assist Riku be free of these burdens even if it meant you being his enemy.'

Pedanium Zetton stops struggling.  "Is... this true?  There is something... wrong with Master Belial?" The very idea never came into his head.  It also makes his Master's appreciation for his son make a lot more sense.  He... did create Riku, but now he sees it was always Belial's dream to create a child free of the cycle he was a part of.

Petra's words also hit their mark: what would anyone gain by his death?  He'd die to hurt the world a little, but... that doesn't serve his Master, right?  The revelation and words fill him with a new purpose.

"She's right, I'm not worth killing yourself over.  Please... stop this." Riku pleads with Fukuide again.

There is a light from both Fukuide and Geed.  The words have hit their mark, thanks to people who, for some reason, cared for his life when even he did not.  Eventually, Fukuide is lying on the ground in his tattered suit.  Riku is next to him.  The Ultra Capsules have also been expelled... and... two new capsules have been formed, likely in the Sturm organ of Fukuide's.

These aren't Ultra Capsules, but rather Kaiju Capsules that Fukuide uses.  However, in that moment of stillness...

The Capsules, the two new ones, start to fall into a pool of darkness before anyone can grab them.  A presence can be felt everywhere; even the sky darkens for a moment.  "You've failed me again, Alien Sturm.  But even in your failure, you've still managed to serve me well enough.  Your death will not come today... but soon."

It was Belial; Angela can confirm that, but there is a more twistedness to his voice somehow.  The sky lightens, but Fukuide, for the first time in a long time... breaks down.
Shira     "Please listen!" The first time Shira's spoken since becoming big; her voice has that heavy metallic ring to it as her more monstrous vocalizations. She employs her strength and leverage to keep Pedanium Zatton pinned despite its struggling, sitting on the larger monster's back with its ankles under her arms, pressing that writing torso into the city streets with his own weight.

When the kaiju starts to understand and ceases struggling, Shira remains vigilant; just in case he swings away from the change of heart he's headed for.

It's the light of both Zatton and Geed de-transforming that has Shira releasing him. She kind of has to, since Pedanium Zatton sort of stops existing anyway. Without the massive creature beneath her, she tilts forward a bit until her knees slam into the street with a window-rattling crash.

In the same suddenness of her expansion in size, Shira's mass reduces. There is no light, contrasting the Ultramen, and it's swift enough that the now human-sized kaiju is left hanging in midair. Much like a cat she twists as she drops and lands heavily on all fours in a way that's rather practiced and avoids full-on faceplanting. Immediately, she scrambles up to her feet and gets closer, hands tucked up by her chest while she looks over Riku and Kei with concern.

The kaiju capsules disappear, pulling a surprised monster sound out of Shira. A second, louder noise screeks out when the Evil Voice of UltraSatan Belial starts talking and she jolts her face skyward to search for a source.

After a moment, the battered kaijusapien sinks down into a squat, resting her hands on the street between her feet while she shifts her attention back to the... brothers? Sort of? Even if she doesn't know quite what to say.
Angela Angela also feels a little weird about, essentially, doing this kind of talk back to the 'bad guy' when she's supposed to be a 'the bad guy' herself. But she doesn't want to see what might be one of Belial's last great acts as himself to be taken away in some sort of tragic fairy tale ending. She's had enough fo those in her life. She doesn't have the same quite as mental imagining of a place within her own head as Flamel does but her imagination of what it would be would be a teetering tower that somehow hasn't collapsed yet even as it gets larger and larger and closer to heaven.

It is also, of course, a Library too but perhaps her own EGO has room to grow in more ways than one.

It's good that Petra is reaching out to bodily move Angela while she's distracted real hard in reliving a memory so that Flamel can readily pick it up. That's not exactly a 'danger dodging' mindset lest she contaminate the memory with visions of her leaping to the side as something explodes where she just was and going KYAAAH like the magical girl she is presently wearing just a bit of the soul of.

Angela bobs her head at the Beauty of Ash once Petra throws in her own two cents here. In a way, Kei sacrificing himself means he's accepting that he lives in the Ultraman Geed show and he's here to dramatically die a tragic death so a hero can learn a lesson or something. The idea of sacrificing oneself just to feel that moment of cathartic relief in the moments before one's consciousness fades away forever is exactly the sort of enticing that Angela understands. But it feels selfish to indulge now, too selfish, when there's Petra, Lilian, Roland--others that have slowly wormed their ways into Angela's heart. If she ran away form all that, who would she be? She'd be her dad, that's who, and she must surely have just enough of him in her that the impulse might overtake her if she gets careless. And she'll never be so careless. It'd be too embarrassing.

But despite all this, she has long since expected her magical girl lessons to bounce off deaf ears. One of the other reasons she hesitates to wear this cloth. She can't match Love's energy even if she knows the things she'd say as well as Love herself.

Which makes it all the more surprising that Kei, against all odds, does seem affected by her connection to Riku and to Belial. Angela's eyes lose, for a moment, their dull expression as a flicker of shock and confusion crosses them--momentarily that young girl only Petra really got to know--

--she's back to normal a moment later when Belial speaks and Angela has a moment to compose herself.

"...Belial, don't--" Cast off such devotion lightly.

Momentarily flustered by Belial evil ovelord posting, Angela eventually clears her head enoguh to approach Kei. She moves slowly enough that Petra can follow.

She promised something impossible, Angela thinks, she knows that at a certain level of corrosion you can't save the person they used to be and she doesn't have Lobotomy Corp's resources anymore so she's even less able to help such a circumstance than before.

But she's ''not in Lobotomy Corp'' anymore.

Right?

Feeling strangely unsure about that despite the obvious reality of the situation indicating that the facility is long gone, she reaches out for Kei and wraps an arm around him. Why does she have these impulses, she laments.

"Thank you for listening to me, Kei. I'll repay you."
Flamel Parsons     Flamel descends, releasing his levitation and panting heavily from the exertion. "Phew... Alright, Riku, you take this next bit from here." He wheezes a little, starting to step away. One finger on his temple, communications mode.

"Parsons here, get me the AIB liason." He mutters. "Hey. We've neutralized the primary psychohazard. Don't-- don't ask me for details. I wasn't able to get in there." He starts to walk away. "No. Sideloaded antibodies through Geed, there was too much negative attention for more astral projection. I need you to hold off having him physically contained, I'll have Geed handling his containment. But I need AIB resources on tracking anything that went through weird spaces. Hyperspaces, subspaces, any prefixed spaces you can think of, we just lost track of two important..."

He leaves Kei to the others. Maybe he's done enough with this guy. A hands-off approach might be ideal, given Riku being so usefully compliant and enduring!
