Taylita      While most might expect a saiyan to attack Zone 92, Taylita isn't like most saiyans. She is an engineer! And this area is a gold mine to an engineer who wants to learn to invent new things or collect awesome gizmos.

So, the grease monkey makes her way down to the surface, her blue aura leaving a trail behind her as she flies. She lands with enough force to make her presense well known, then calls out, "Alright you Confederates! I'm Taylita, honorable Saiyan warrior! And I came here to fight! Who wants to take me on?"

She grins as she looks out over the area, her arms crossed over her chest, her posture one of complete confidence.
Gohan     Gohan, as it happens, is training when an alarm begins to sound in his flagship. It was a little thing he had installed to warn him of Confederate events that he may need to take part in. As it happens, when he checks what this particular alert is, he sees that it is Taylita, attacking the Factory under Confederate control. He smirks, tightening the belt on his gi and storming out of the training deck. He rushes to his throne chamber and flies out of the top of the ship, before his blue-white aura flares around him and he rockets off toward the signal of the Factory. Of course, there are only non-Elite guards there, and none of them would be able to take on an Elite Saiyan of Taylita's caliber. And, if he knows anything about Saiyans, he knows she would take no pride in taking out a bunch of mooks.

Within a few seconds, it seems, Gohan streaks to the ground, pushing the hair out of his eyes, arms still glistening with sweat from his exertion during his training. However, he still seems full of energy, not even winded in the slightest. "You want a fight?" he says, allowing his aura to pulse outward and expand, the earth beneath them rumbling slightly, "Then you've got one. Bring it. Let's see how much you've improved since we fought last, yeah?"
Taylita      Taylita blinks as she feels that power level. It's been a while, but it's still somewhat familiar. She turns toward Gohan, still smirking smugly. "Gohan. Can't say I expected you to show up here. I'm glad you did, though." She moves into a fighting stance, and her own aura flares, the blue flame-like energy swirling around her and kicking up a powerful wind. "Because...I haven't gotten to smash your face in for taking over Yunomi's world and continuing the disgraceful legacy of the PTO and the Saiyans!!"

She launches forward, spiraling through the air toward Gohan. At the last moment, she turns upright again and channels the spin into a powerful kick. It is a move she uses all the time. It's become one of her favorites, really.
Gohan     Gohan keeps his smirk up as well. "Who better to deal with you than me?" he replies, tossing his hair back a bit more. "Besides, the whole revenge for Yunomi's home bit is getting old. Seriously. I won. TWICE. Let it go already." He narrows his eyes, watching her movements with a keen eye. It had been awhile, but the familiarity is there. As she launches into rotations, he braces himself, and when the kick snaps out...

There's a loud booming sound. Surely that means he suffered a major blow. But no. His arm is raised in a block, stopping the spin kick dead in its tracks. He doesn't even seem to flinch at the maneuver. His smirk widens into a wicked smile. "Really? That's what you've got? This will be easy." He pushes her leg away, drawing both arms above his head and clasping his hands above his head. Without another word, he brings both of his arms down, swinging his entire weight into the axehandle in an attempt to smash Taylita into the ground.
Taylita      Taylita's expressing goes from smug to surprised as her kick is completely blocked. When her leg is knocked back, she twirls with the momentum to land in a crouch. Just in time to block the double-handed attack. Both of her arms come up to stock the axehandle, and as her body absorbs the shock, it crushes the ground beneath her and sends a shockwave outward. She grunts with the effort, then grins. "Don't get so cocky. When did you become such a stick in the mud? When I met you, you were pretty easy going despite the situation. Now, that situation is resolved, yet you've become all serious and arrogant. And, you are leading the PTO! It might not be as bad as it was before, but you are still taking worlds and selling them for profit! Kicking the local people off their own land is unacceptable! A true warrior would never do such a thing! Your taking Yunomi's world was just one instance!"

As she finishes her speech, she pushes upward, then tries to keep Gohan's hands busy as she kicks again. Just a straight forward kick, aimed at his chest.
Gohan     This kick, much like her last, is deflected to one side by a lightning-quick motion of his arm. However, the slightest hint of a bruise can be seen at the impact site on this one. Combine that with the fact that she tank-blocked his axehandle attack, and Gohan smiles wider. "Is it not the duty of a King to be interested in the welfare of his people? I'm not selling planets. I'm taking them as a basis for the revival of a Saiyan Empire. I would think you'd be overjoyed. Once I can kickstart that..." He shakes his head, stepping back. He hadn't planned that far ahead yet. His right hand glows with a white energy as he surveys the situation. "I want to see the Saiyans revived. And they can be, without the stigma that plagues the race now if I do it right. But enough about that."

He points his hand at Taylita, opening the palm and allowing a wave of energy to explode from his hand. "That's not important right now. This battle... this matters. Besides, you've only seen me in action. I still have a carefree side. Too bad you'll never see past my actions to see it again." For a moment...

He actually looks a little sad.
Taylita      Taylita is caught off guard by the energy wave. She was expecting another melee attack! Her body is engulfed by the energy wave and she is blown backward. She lands hard and causes a furrow in the ground before she finally stops.

When she stands, she is grumbling to herself. Things like 'come on Tay, what's wrong with you?' and 'This guy is making you look like a newly grown sprout...'

She finally hops back to her feet, then looks over at Gohan. "How...how can you and Serori justify this forced expansion? There are hundreds of places to build a new Saiyan home -without- stomping all over the rights and lives of others. You may think you are going to dispel the actions of the past, but all you are doing is adding to the sins of the Saiyan empire that came before you. Your empire may not be blatantly murderous, but it is not going to have a good reputation. No one will trust you. No one will want to ally with you. Because they will know that at any moment, you could turn on them in the name of Saiyan revival."

She gives Gohan a serious gaze after that. "You are reviving the saiyans alright. In the same way they existed before. A way that led to their destruction." She thrusts her arms out suddenly, and her palms launch a pair of beams at Gohan. "You and Serori both either can't, or refuse to see the bigger picture!!"
Gohan     Gohan frowns a bit. He knew there was some truth to what she was saying, but unlike what he hadn't thought about in regards to the future, this was something he had considered. And he knew how to respond, but he didn't want to tip his hand. So instead, he says, "You're not seeing the game for all its moves, Taylita. I know the outcome of my actions better than anyone, so don't act like you see the full scope of what I'm doing, alright?" As the beams crash into him, Gohan is sent sprawling across the ground, rolling painfully until he collides with a wall. There's a crater in the wall, but no doubt the bots here will fix that in short order. He struggles back to his feet, his skin marred by burn marks and a few cuts from his roll across the ground. He looks a lot worse off than he actually is, however, his aura flaring back up around him. "Damn," he says, dusting his chest and wincing at the action. "That hurt." He brings his hands to his forehead, palms facing outward. A small ball of gold appears there, before he raises his arms and flings the small Masenko toward Taylita. Or so it seems.

The attack dips down, crashing into the earth in front of the Saiyan woman, kicking up a cloud of dust. Gohan soon emerges from the cloud, aiming an uppercut straight for the bottom of Taylita's jaw.
Taylita      Taylita grins as the beams catch Gohan solidly. "How'd you like that?" she asks smugly as Gohan emerges from the crater in the wall. "Of course it hurt. You can't get in a fight with someone like me and not get hurt." she says.

When Gohan fires, Taylita braces for the impact, but then...it doesn't hit? She blinks, and notices just in time that Gohan is flying in through the smoke. She grits her teeth and quickly throws her her body back, barely avoiding the hit. She lands on her back, then quickly gathers her body up and launches herself, legs first, at Gohan. Both legs kick out at the same time, aiming to catch Gohan squarely in the stomach.

She uses the power of the impact to rebound and backflips to land on her feet. "Fine. But only if you act like you -are- seeing the full scope of what you are doing." She sighs. "I really wish I could believe you when you say the future for saiyans will be better after you are finished, but...all I see are the same mistakes of the past. The same warlording and bloodlusting. Not necessarily both from you, but...if there is something to your plan that I am missing, something that will make the future brighter for everyone despite the losses that will be incured...then please tell me. I don't want to believe that you and Serori are just...turning evil." She looks sad herself at that prospect.
Gohan     Gohan is shocked, visibly, when his attack whiffs, and he catches two feet to the gut in recompense. He is launched away again, landing in a heap on the ground. He's slower to regain his feet, and he spits out blood as he does, his face pale as he catches his breath. He coughs, more blood coming with it, before straightening up. "I suppose not," he says, his voice raspy. He shakes his head, clearing the cobwebs and sizing up his opposition. He needed a gambit, and fast. "If you can beat me," he says, straightening up, "I'll tell you what part of the strategy you... and even Serori... are missing. But you are sworn to secrecy if I tell you, understood? Not a word... or you WILL end up like Vegeta. I will see to it."

He rushes forward, fist drawn back and glowing with energy. If she had ever fought Vegeta, she might recognize what he's going for. He swings the fist upward, into her stomach hopefully, before letting the energy around his hand explode outward and into her to propel her away.
Taylita      Taylita had battled Vegeta when she first arrived in the Multiverse, but it was only once, and not for very long. So, she doesn't recognize the attack. And more importantly, it is too fast for her to escape it. She is caught directly below the ribs, which is bad enough, but then there is that explosion of energy. She coughs as she is blown back, a bit of her own blood splashing onto the ground. But, she flips back and lands on her feet again, panting a bit.

"You..you've kept...even Serori out of the loop? Why?" she asks, not accusing or insulted, just curious more than anything. It doesn't make sense to keep her uninformed on the plan. Unless it is a detail that Serori would not like. Of course, it -does- make sense that Taylita doesn't know. They are enemies according to their factions.

Taylita grins when she hears that if she wins, she gets more details. "Sounds fair." she says, then hees. "I guess I'd better get my act together, then. Spending all that time tinkering in my spaceship seems to have weakened me a bit."

That said, she rushes forward again, her fist pulled back as if to deliver a blow right from the front. But, instead, just as she would be punching, her form blurrs and she appears above Gohan, one foot coming down at his head, all the power of a forward flip behind it.
Gohan     Taylita rings Gohan's head like a bell, the feint going off without a hitch. The halfbreed staggers back, his vision black and his head throbbing horribly. He feels himself fall, but never feels the impact, willing his brain to re-engage and push through the damage. His vision fades back in, but it's tinted red, perhaps due to some internal damage. He stands back up, staggering as though the earth were shifting wildly beneath him. He can't think of anything to say.

So instead, he channels energy around himself, his aura shrinking inward as he begins to glow. With a feral roar blended with a pained scream, a dome of energy explodes outward from his body, cratering the earth and, hopefully, landing some revenge damage on Taylita. Or at least give him some breathing room to regain his faculties.
Taylita      Taylita is forced back by the attack, and it does indeed cause her some damage, but nothing too serious. With her arms crossed in front of her, she goes sliding back through the air, then grins. "Heh. Sorry about that. With how you've been fighting, I was sure you'd block or dodge that attack." she says.

And with that dangerous energy aura around him, she decides another energy attack is in order. She grins, then the area around her seems to darken while her body starts to glow softly. "So, why are you keeping Serori out of the loop? Do you not trust her?" she asks again as her body glows more and more brightly. But, this isn't the usual glow of ki. It is more like...sunlight. The glow grows until it is blinding, then finally Taylita brings her hands up above her head before twirling in place and bringing them down, then as she turns toward Gohan again...she fires a beam of pure, searing solar energy.
Gohan     Gohan's head clears as the energy pulses outward, granting him some space. His head throbs, however, and he knows he's pretty messed up by the fight. However, he can speak again, and recognize speech. "Of course I trust Serori. She... she just won't like what I have planned, is all."

He shakes his head again, before Taylita fires her Solar Beam. He leaps out of the way, feeling the burn of the beam grazing his leg as he does. He staggers, but recovers relatively quickly, turning to face Taylita again. He brings his hands up to his forehead again, palms out. "Masenko..." he starts, a large golden ball appearing in front of his hands. "HA!"

A massive golden beam explodes into life as he flings his hands forward, sending his signature technique hurtling toward Taylita. "I think you may have cracked my skull with that kick," he says, "Not that it'll help you, of course."
Taylita      Taylita doesn't move as the beam flies past her, singing her arm. @emit
Taylita doesn't move as the beam flies past her, singing her arm a bit. "It might help me, if you are aiming for that Taylita standing beside me." she says, grinning. As she hears that Serori won't like the plan, she hmms. "So...what, you intend to build a saiyan society free of warmongering? Or maybe, a society that doesn't focus on strength in battle? Or...are you intending to leave her out to some extent?" Those are the only things Taylita can think of that would anger Serori about the plan.

With the solar beam proving ineffective, Taylita rushes in again. She comes in low and fast, and aims a powerful uppercut at Gohan's chin.
Gohan     Gohan shakes his head. "I'm not telling you anything until you beat me," he says, "So stop guessing." His aim was off. He had a feeling it might be. As she charges in, he knows his coordination isn't enough to lunge out of the way. So, instead, he braces himself for the impact. Again, his vision goes back, though only for a moment as he's sent sprawling across the ground again. He rolls back to his feet, spitting more blood of a darker color this time. He shakes his head, drawing his arms to his side. A blue ball of energy appears in a flash, growing massive around his hands in short order. It looks big, but is relatively weaker than the full-power version. He snaps the wide-firing Kamehameha without a single word, the blast bursting across most of the area Taylita is standing in. "If I can't aim, I'll use spread tactics. Either way, I'm not going to lose."
Taylita      Taylita grits her teeth as she crosses her arms to try and block the attack. She only succeeds slightly, dispersing the energy around herself rather than taking a full on hit. It still leaves her smoking and panting after the blast has passed, and a little blood runs from her mouth, but she is still grinning. "Yes you are." she says confidently.

She raises her hands again and starts building energy. "Hey, when I win, will you also teach me that technique?" she asks Gohan as she prepares a beam attack of her own. "It's pretty neat, and seems pretty powerful. Could be useful for beating you in the future." she says before she fires. Apparently she doesn't have names for her attacks. She just attacks. A broad blue beam fires at Gohan, exploding on impact.
Gohan     Gohan frowns. She's not falling, and his body isn't enduring the way he had hoped. He grits his teeth, leaning into the blast Taylita sends at him and crossing his arms to protect himself. He roars as his arms blister and crack, blood oozing from the wounds. "Yeah, that's going to happen," he snarls, before racing toward Taylita. His eyes flicker as he draws an open hand back, rushing the Saiyan woman down with all of his speed. His palm shoots toward her face, aiming to grab her and fling her to the ground. A kick follows this motion, before he places both hands in front of him and blasts the ground she would hopefully end up on after his attack.

"Clearly I need to let my logic go and attack with the ferocity of a Saiyan. Fighting smart is getting me nowhere."
Taylita      Taylita is pretty fast herself. As that hand comes in toward her face, she brings her arm up to parry, then brings the other down to block the kick, and jumps to avoid the brunt of the blast. "Well, you saiyans aren't known for your intellect, after all." she says in the middle of her jump. Then, she backflips in place, bringing her leg around for another strong kick aimed at Gohan's head.

"But, your ferocity seems a bit lacking too. Are you sure you're up for this fight?" she asks while bouncing away after the kick.
Gohan     "What do you mean, you Saiyans?" Gohan snarls. "I'm less Saiyan than you are by default. Granted, you weren't brought up by an abusive, war-mongering King, but to deny your blood so easily..." He spits on the ground again. "I have the intellect of a human and the power of a Saiyan. Surely a Saiyan race with me as its originator would produce a better result than past evolution." He weaves away from Taylita's kick, placing his hands in front of him as she backs away. There's an audible pulse, before a massive, sudden white blast of energy fires from Gohan's outstretched hands.

It rockets toward the Saiyan, aiming to detonate on impact. "Surely even you can agree with me. Wouldn't you like to see what the Saiyans could do when not driven by instinct and warlords?"
Taylita      Taylita lets out a surprised 'hrk' as her attack goes wide, then cries out as that white energy blast envelopes her. She is sent tumbling back, but managed to get her defenses up in time to avoid a major hit. Still, her clothing is looking tattered, and her skin is bruised and seared in several places. "What do you think I've been advocating?! Geeze! That is -exactly- what I said about how the new empire should be run!" She pauses, then puts a finger to her lips. "...have we not talked about it before? I'm sure we have..."

She shakes her head, then looks at Gohan again. "What I object to is your method of establishing the empire. Taking over other people's worlds is NOT the right way to establish the new empire! It just starts the saiyans on the same path they were on before! And I will not lump myself in with the rest of you until you all figure that out!" she exclaims as she rushes back in. She aims a kick at Gohan's chest, trying to knock him backward, then leaps up and fires a beam down at him before rushing down to try and stomp him into the ground.
Gohan     Gohan shakes his head. She's not going to figure it out on her own, and he IS going to lose the fight. Without a moment to push into Super Saiyan, he's not liking his odds. "I'm attempting to establish them with a clean slate, Taylita," he says, before she interrupts him with her assault. He rolls across the ground, feeling ribs crack as she stomps him. He drags himself back to his feet, staggering like a drunk as he does so. "I... I'm doing what I'm doing to show what Saiyans brought up the old way are still capable of, before showing the world that the next generation will not be the same. More educated, able to restrain... their more basic instincts. So that maybe they have a better chance the second time around. I will make myself a monster for their sakes, to show the dichotomy between old and new. And if it ends up killing me... then at least I die for a cause I fought for." He draws his hands to his side. "I think I'm going to lose, but I'm not giving up. Ka... Me... Ha... Me..."

He throws his hands forward, this time in true Kamehameha fashion. "HAAAA!"

    Aim be damned.
Taylita      Gohan's aim isn't bad this time. Only Taylita's strong body and defenses keep her from being overwhelmed. She is pushed back by the attack, her body smoldering even more. When she emerges, she is panting heavily. She lands nearby, and has to take a moment to steady herself. "What...but...th-that..." She doesn't know what to say to that. It makes sense, in a way, but at the same time it is crazy. Become hated so people will like saiyans later?

"...that's...insane! Why do they have to hate you first?! You can show them right now that saiyans are not all the crazed murderers of the past! I'm proof of it, and so is Raditz, and so would you be if you stopped this nonsense!" As she is shouting this, she is charging another energy beam of her own. "Just let go of the past! Start building the new future now, on a strong, positive foundation, not one bound in lies!"

And with that, she unleashes her beam. A bright blue energy blast surges toward Gohan.
Gohan     Gohan chuckles. "I've burned that bridge already, Taylita," he says, "And I refuse to ally myself with Raditz. Just the thought of that makes me sick. How come he got to know a version of my father that raised another version of me to be decent, after what he did to him? I'll kill him given the chance, and I will relish the moment. That's how I know I've passed the point of no return. But at least I can do something."

He lets the energy wash over him. "You're sworn to secrecy. Tell anyone, and I'll kill you too, understand?"

With those words, Gohan lets out a scream of agony, letting the blast fully engulf him. He lands in a bloody heap on the ground nearby. The onlooking Confederate mooks realize the outcome and swarm the Elite, picking him up and moving out of the Factory.
Taylita      Taylita doesn't know the history between Gohan and Raditz, but it sounds like more silliness to her. As Gohan brings up the secrecy, Taylita is silent a few moments, then nods once. "I understand." she says as Gohan is carried away. With the battle over, she finally lets herself relax a bit, which leaves her stumbling before she lowers down to a knee. "Heh...told you I'd win." she says, grinning a bit. "But...you were pretty darn tough."
