Emiya Shirou     Today's been a really exhausting day. Shirou spent much of the morning practicing Archery and talkin with Bedivere. Then he went searching for his Japan but came back short - and stumbled upon a bank robbery. There, the heist claimed many lives, and he was unable to save what he most wanted to save. Sure, some might praise his efforts, having stopped the criminals from looting everything. But he chose to go in the back way, where the vault was under assault, instead of into the lobby full of hostages. The choice was calculated to be for the best interests of the hostages, but because he wasn't there to confront the most ruthless of the culprits... dozens of policemen were cut down.

The boy regrets that, but he can't change what happened. It's not even his fault they died. But if he could, he'd trade the entire vault for those lives and be loathed as the guy who let the bad guys steal the motherlode.

But he doesn't waste his time moping. That's the way of things: if he has time to regret stuff, he has time to do more productive things.

Which is why he's been hauling in wagonloads of food and supplies using nothing but his brute strength for some time now. His arm is mostly healed, although still bloodied, and still - he probably shouldn't be using them to haul wheelbarrows and wagons worth of food and supplies through Agartha.

He probably shouldn't, but these people that Shirou's never met are more valuable to him than his own health.

And so, dressed in a bloodied white and grey shirt, and of course some blue jeans, the redhead grunts and groans to haul an overstuffed cart full of canned food, bottled water, and assorted other goods towards the Fire Station.

If he happens to encounter the odd monster or zombie, they're ruthlessly cut down by a sudden SWORD FROM THE HEAVENS.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa has had a hell of a day really and she was actually sleeping at the base she's come with to do some owrk on the computer at the firehall. Why she figured she' at least let htem keep file son everything that happend right? Either way she's foxed off and was sleeping when Shirou arrives it would be a curious thing however there's a line going from the computer into the base of her neck.

Alsp perhaps as disturbing is she's not moving /at all/ it's almost like she's a corpse, not as in she's a heavy sleeper she looks like she could be dead.
Emiya Shirou     When Shirou finally pulls into the fire station, he grabs a hankderchief from a pocket and wipes his face. ... Well, it's torn somewhat, and stained, and bloodied. At this point, calling it a rag is more accurate.

But leaving the cart in the garage for the moment, he heads into the waiting lounge and finds... Kotone utterly still as can be.

She's stunning beautiful, by his standards. Just a glance is enough for him to tell that. There's just one problem. "...She's... not breathing...?!" He's not seen her much. They haven't spoken enough to say so. But he instantly hurries over and bends down. "... I hope she's not dead...?"

This is a quandary. He could try structural grasp magecraft on her, but the thought of doing that on a girl's body is so unbelievably rude and forbidden that he mentally sledgehammers it right out of his head before he can think about it. Nope, nothing he can do but prod her gently on the shoulder with a finger while standing over her with the most concerned look on his face.

And with half his shirt covered in blood.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa would be most distressed about Shirou's state of affairs. Is she dead? No as she's prodded she seems to notice as she mumbles somthing and starts to move rising up opening her eyes with a groggy look on her face.

"Must have passed out while trying to cunch some info...mation... Emiya?! What happened to you!"

She almost bolts up but the cable kinda reminds her not to pull too hard.

"Your covered in blood u... bloody cable!"
Emiya Shirou     "u-h-h-h-h-h-uUwaaagh!" Having someone who looked pretty much dead WAKE UP is almost as scary as finding out they actually are dead.

Shirou, thus, topples right back over, flailing his arms until he lands on his tush with a loud THUMP. "Ghh..."

With another pained grunt though, he gets to his feet again. "Sorry Yamakawa, y-you weren't breathing or anything and had that cable in you, I-I th-thought something was w-wrong!" He's not stammering because he's cowardly or anything.

He just feels really awful for waking someone up over nothing and is hoping for forgiveness.

"Eh....? Blood...?" Calmed by her words, he finally looks himself over... and his face scrunches in distaste. "Oh.... I didn't notice that..." The boy's expression goes from extremely apologetic to stupidly bewildered very quickly.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I'm not the living dead... well in the same way the things outside are. I was doing some data crunching and didn't feel like sitting at the terminal while I worked so I was just dozing a bit while I did."

She takes a moment to disconnec the cable which snaps back into her neck. She looks at him an smiles a little bit, before making a concerned face s she goes for the medical kits.

"You didn't notice the blood, you ... can get quite distracted as for me? I'm cyberized, my body's Prosetic."
Emiya Shirou     "Oh... sorry, then I really did wake you for no reason." No reason, he says, while covered in blood on one side of his torso. Mostly around the arm, but some of it's splashed here and there.

In fact, the blood's mostly limited to his right sleeve and the area around it. The sleeve isn't torn, so it must've been bleeding LOTS.

But still, he's only vaguely rubbing it when Kotone goes to get the kit... "..? Er? It's not distraction, I just had something more important to do." Than what? heal your arm? Also that is distraction. The face Shirou makes a moment after saying that shows how he realized the contradiction. A rueful scrunch. Oops.

"I see. A mechanical body. It makes perfect sense now." He exclaims a moment later, hollowly.

He might be a little woozy from exhaustion.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I'd have liked to have kept my original one but there wasn't much left. Also if you don't take care of your self how can you help someone else if your a mess?"
% She goes to get to work on Shirou and isn't going to take no for an answer from him as she gets to work.

"Bleeding out is a /distraction/"

She'll make sure it's clean disinecting any ound that remain and doing her best to dress the wound.

"They generally do their damnest to mimic what you could do before. I can still enjoy food thankfully even if it doesn't do anything for me really...jut a way to keep sane."
Emiya Shirou     "I'm a mess?" This is news to Shirou. He really hadn't put much thought into it for whatever reason. But with Kotone coming at him and so intent on dressing the wound... he reluctantly removes the shirt from half his body. There...

    Isn't much of a wound.

Oh there is definitely an area of very reddish-pinkish newly regrown flesh, but the wound has... mostly closed. It does look as if a huge tear tore a long ling through his flesh, following the arm, like gutting a fish. Something burst or tore rather nastily. But somehow it's nearly closed without any sign of infection, and he didn't bleed out.

"... I don't get this body anymore. It's like it's not the one I had, too. Wounds just keep healing.. and I'm sure Dun realtai has something to do with it. This would probably be gone in half a day if I was there..."

But it's still a semi-open wound. And he's still pushing himself tremendously for some godforsaken reason...
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Yyes and how di...you heal so ... fast?"

She keeps working anyway but looks at what likely the original size of the injury was.

"...you know I feel the same way to be perfectly honest."

She flexes a hand a little bit.

"Funny isn't it how much of our reality is what information our brains get. Still you are pushing your self /hard/ even if you can regenerate your no good running your self to the point where you can't help anyone. There's a saying Doctor heal thy self. It means you need to take care of your self so you can help others."
