Karlan Nobles      Virtua City has seen better days. Once a shining beacon of progress marred primarily by criminal organizations and filled with civilians lacking any sense of self-preservation, the city has transformed wildly over the past months into one controlled primarily by criminal organizations and filled with civilians lacking any sense of self-preservation. Gone are the clean, if rather dull gray and brown bricks and right-angled architecture.

Now, the city is filled with flashing lights, wild hairdos, denim, and exposed limbs and midriffs. Worse yet, reports of unchecked drug and human trafficking abound in this area, along with reporters from various news agencies disappearing shortly after reporting on the city's police and mayor allegedly having ties to these crimes.

That's where Elites have been called in to assist. Whether it's to root out the corruption that's spread like wildfire through the city, to protect the civilians at risk in this region, to make a tidy profit through selectively mugging the right people, or to just punch a lot of people in the face, anyone that answers the call will be directed to meet in a specific alleyway between two nightclubs and a sporting goods store.

Once there, the responding Elites will see their contacts in short order: A massive hulk of a man with black hair wearing blue tights with lightning bolts on them, black briefs, and red wrestling boots, and a toned woman with brown hair in a denim jacket, red tube top, skirt, and stockings with pointed shoes. They're in the middle of beating up multiple people at once, punching and hurling various mohawk-headed and knife-wielding denim vest-wearing adversaries while a woman with white hair, a spotted tail, and a blue and black coat scrambles around the alley wildly to not get hit by the flying bodies in the process.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang walks the streets, watching the various goings on as she makes her way to the rendezous point. She hears the sound of combat, triggers her Aura and books it the last few dozen meters. Rounding the corner with a shotgun assisted turn, she takes half a moment to size up the crowd, and then launches into the fray, slamming a fist into the side of a mohawk guy bearing down on the wrestler-guy's back while he's distracted. "Never a dull moment in this city huh?" she quips, aiming to take pressure off of the two contacts with her trademark wild fighting style.
Rebecca Chambers Some might be walking the streets, but Rebecca is going at a faster rate as she rushes to the location where she's supposed to meet up with her contacts. A few people have gotten in her way, but her CQC-style techniques are able to put them down just long enough for her to get past. When she finally arrives, she notices the contacts are battling a group of thugs, and seeing Yang helping out motivates Rebecca to move in as well. She grabs one thug and administers a swift takedown onto the ground by tripping his legs while pushing him down simultaneously. Unlike in most cases, where she uses a bit of control since she usually does this to place suspects under arrest, this one is done with full force and speed in order to incapacitate the target. "I'd hate to imagine how much worse it would be if Irons was running the police department here."
Big Boss As the fighting rages on, someone's standing on the rooftop, scanning. The second he spots the knives, he leaps down, and a good glance of him is obtained. He's a young man with a tied-up blonde ponytail, wearing a poncho and holding a long samurai sword. As he drops into the fray, he simply grins.

"Leave the bladesmen to me."

The sword slashes out, and what happens is special. Two slashes come from a single swing, moving to slice both the throat and the knife-holding wrist of one, before the swordsman's hand moves to grab the knife and place it on a belt. This happens to the next knife-wielder, and the next.

He's absolutely trying to kill them.

But- if any of the non-knife wielders get in his way, he simply elbows them and hits them with the fat of the blade. He knows CQC, so he can take them down non-lethally, and he aims to do so. He only wants to kill the bladesmen.
Karlan Nobles      It doesn't take much to take down any given punk with a well-placed hit or three. Even the trio that had been in the alley at the start are getting the numbers down, whether it's the brunette shoulder tossing one head-first into a brick wall, the giant swinging one by the legs into the side of a dumpster, or the white-haired woman...

... Pramanix is having a little more trouble than the first two. She's not exactly a brawler, after all, so she breathes a heavy sigh of relief when reinforcements show up and start pounding the everloving crap out of the thugs, drawing attention away from herself and giving her a chance to boot one right into the wrestler's arms.

"Been here before, huh?" The wrestler quips in return to Yang, not even noticing the mohawk-bearer in the yellow jacket coming up behind him until after Yang brings him down with a satisfying crunching noise. He tosses the one in his arms up and over his head, dropping him right on the guy behind him and raising an eyebrow when he hears two grunts behind him instead of just the one.

Seeing one of their own getting taken down by Rebecca, meanwhile, one of the green-wearing buzzcut guys starts rushing at her with a knife. That leaves his back exposed, however, and the brunette takes full advantage of that by leapfrogging over one of the people-stacks and hammering her fists into his back with a strange glow trailing behind her hands. "You've got those types too? Good to see a fellow officer around here." She comments, pausing for just a beat before stomping on that same guy's gut to make sure he stays down.

And as if on cue, a poncho-wearing samurai dives in from out of nowhere, and it quickly becomes clear that the thugs in the area aren't really fit to fight him. The unlucky few that actually have knives with them go down with barely a fight, too used to using their knives against opponents that don't know how to fight back or have longer weapons than themselves. The ones that don't start to flee in a panic, evidently not too keen about getting their throats cut open. "Whoa, whoa! Ain't that a bit much?" The wrestler starts, but grimaces when the brunette shakes her head. "They knew what they were getting into. We didn't call for assistance selectively. We'll need whatever we can get." Once the initial pile of people subsides, there's a moment for everyone to breathe. "Officer Blaze Fielding, of the Virt... Wood Oak City PD." Blaze introduces herself first, still not seeming used to something. The name change, most likely.

"Max Thunder, wrestler." The big guy speaks up next, pausing for just a moment before kicking one of the thugs over and letting him retch out onto the ground instead of choking on it. "Work name. Haven't changed it legally."
"Yet."
"Yet."

"Pramanix, of Karlan. I'm not from around here." Pramanix states the obvious, already seeming to recognize a... Well, one of the people here already judging from the more casual wave she gives Yang compared to Rebecca and the swordsman.

She seems just a bit more wary of the swordsman, as does Max.

"Here's the short version. Mr. X won the mayoral election recently, and now he's got this whole city in his pocket. The gangs, the police, everything in between. We heard he's got something screwed up planned, so we're doing some info gathering." Blaze explains, glancing over at the pile of bodies a moment later. "... And apparently, he knows we're on his case already." She lets out an irritated sigh and gives one of the thugs another kick in the side, drawing a concerned noise from Pramanix and a light shrug from Max.
Karlan Nobles      "So that's the situation. We know there's a bar further downtown that's got dirt on him, so we're gonna check it out." Max follows up, leading the group out of the alley. There's more waves of punks waiting further down the main street, mailboxes, and garbage bins scattered around surely full of money, weapons, fully cooked meals, and fresh fruit. He cracks his knuckles as he gets into a stance not unlike a football player preparing to charge into a defensive line. "Trust only your fists. The police will never help you."

A moment later, and Blaze speaks up as well. "... But try not to take it too far. I need to file incident reports once we're done here."

And so, the path is clear: Get to the bar to interrogate their informant(?). There's plenty more thugs as the group continues onwards, although the big guns seem to be waiting already even before the group gets to the bar itself. Car headlights are turning on as they back out of the parking spots, ready to run right over the oncoming group once the path is (relatively) clear. Another spiky-haired thug in a spiked black vest and bearing a whole bunch of knives and switchblades charges in, hurling knives and swinging them with far more skill than the denim guys that simply rush forward to try stabbing people with them.

Also, some of the bald guys now have pipes. They're slow and unwieldy with said pipes, but they pack a punch if they strike anything!
Yang Xiao Long     Yang performs a flurry of blows on another poor mook, launching him with a shotgun blast into a wall, shifts footing and hammerblows another coming up behind her straight down into the ground.

"Yeah, I was here when it was Virtua City, helped the cops stop some terrorist organization or something. Didn't ask for details, just punched a bunch of people hurting civvies." She flicks her hair, then crosses arms over her chest. "Name's Yang. Yang Xiao Long. I'm a Huntress from Remnant... thugs like these are even weaker than bandits, no Aura at all. I almost feel bad."

The wave from Pramanix earns a big grin from the blonde, a half-salute back at her before the group start heading off toward the bar. "So, roaming street gangs with knives are common around here now?"

And then there's cars coming racing down at them. Yang steps forward, cracks her knuckles, and braces as a car speeds straight toward her. Before it hits, her hands come slamming down on the hood and crush the panelling as she grabs on and skids backward from the momentum, heels digging into the ground and cutting furrows until the car comes to a dead stop and she lifts the entire thing up, occupants and all. "RED LIGHT. TIME TO STOP." she bellows, eyes flickering red briefly as she hurls the car back the way it came, into a group of more thugs.
Rebecca Chambers Rebecca seems to take notice of the mysterious man wielding a katana, and while she initially turns to face him with the intent of engaging him if it turns out he's an enemy, the moment she sees him going after the gang members she realizes he's not an enemy, although he's not a Paladin either, so she doesn't exactly give him a warm greeting. She simply keeps a neutral, albeit slightly serious, look on her face as she turns back to face the contacts.

Upon hearing Blaze comment about seeing a fellow officer, Rebecca comes to attention and salutes as she says, "Officer Rebecca Chambers of Raccoon City Police Department." She sighs when she hears that this 'Mr. X' guy is now in control of everything with even the police in his pocket as it reminds her of how Raccoon City was pretty much under the control of Umbrella, even the police department, and that's what led to its downfall. But now is not the time reminiscing.

"I know how it feels to have even the police against you," Rebecca says to Max before looking to Blaze. "And I understand that perfectly."

Yang's strength seems to take care of the goon with the car, which Rebecca can only look at with admiration and surprise, before turning towards the guy with the knives. "Attempting to assault a peace officer? You'll regret this!" Rebecca attempts to put her training to good use in an attempt to disarm the knife-wielder before taking him down. Of course, he could easily have something else planned up his sleeve.
Big Boss The rejection only gets some strange words. "Those who wield the blade should be ready for death at any time. Call me Monkey."

Other than that, he doesn't talk much. Instead, as they proceed, he continues to use lethal force on bladesmen. When the guy with multiple knives comes out, he slicks the blood off his blade. "Hm, an actual challenge?"

A knife strikes his poncho, as he joins Rebecca in her takedown. Where she moves to capture, however, he moves to finish the job, gut their foe, and collect all of his knives to mysteriously place under the poncho.
Karlan Nobles      "That so? Huh. You must've been with the crew Blaze's guys were talking about." Max lets out an uproarious laugh that's a bit too hearty for the... There wasn't even a joke there, was it? He seems like he's amused enough, at least, even as he shifts from laughing big guy mode to barreling engine of destruction mode. Bellowing out suddenly, he charges right through a whole clump of thugs, slamming himself right through their ranks like a wrecking ball made of muscle.

"Remind me to give them a call sometime. It's been a while since we caught up." Blaze, too, shifts from banter to fight rather quickly, taking advantage of Yang stopping that car bare-handed to leap right over her and deliver another flying kick to one of the thugs that had the bright idea to climb onto said car and try looking cool. Instead of getting a chance to dive off the car and stab Yang, though, he's met with a boot to the head.

The cars, meanwhile, don't have a lot of room to maneuver. At best, they could both speed down the street side by side with barely over a foot to spare. With one of them getting stopped abruptly and lifted, though, the second one doesn't have much time to move before the first skims over the top of it and plows through yet more of the gangsters. Blaze takes it all in stride, of course, using her increased height to start dispatching more of those goons by using their heads as both landing zones and springboards to go from person to person.

The multi-knife wielder, meanwhile, has his hands full dealing with Rebecca and Monkey. He's definitely got the technique down, flicking knives every which way to keep maybe one person at bay for about half a minute. Even then, however, he's outclassed, and the dual-takedown cuts his laughter short as it turns to screams from getting his gut cut open. Depending on how quickly Monkey finishes the job, though, they might not have to hear too much of that.

Max seems to be the only person of that starting trio that actually seems put off by that. Blaze is busy giving people traumatic head injuries, after all, and Pramanix is busy focusing on blasting the thugs from afar now that she's got enough space to begin her snow calling rituals. Hail batters the thugs still foolish enough to remain outside, and it's not long before the outside of the bar is clear.

A light rain starts to fall, and the group's way forward is inside the bar itself. Smooth jazz music plays from speakers arranged around the ceilings of the bar, looking much nicer than anything else outside. The floors are a deep brown to match the lighter brown walls, exposed brick, and tasteful landscape paintings hanging over pool tables. There's even a piano being played by a woman in a blue coat, although she and the man in ^a black button-up at the bar seem to be the only ones focusing on their work.

Everyone else inside the bar looks like they're ready to crap themselves or murder somebody, possibly both. There's more of those weirdly identical thugs, of course, but there's also stockier thugs now in motorcycle helmets with short mohawks inexplicably on said helmets. The motorcycle helmeted's seem to have the ability to defy physics as well, somehow propelling themselves forward on a single foot to deliver mighty headbutts from afar!
Yang Xiao Long     Yang grins like a maniac largely not taking note of what her allies are doing apart from their general disposition at the moment. Are they being overwhelmed? No? Okay, good.

She charges forward in the wake of that car, shoulder checking a thug and gathering a few like a golden battering ram, before slamming them all into a wall.

As the group moves to enter the bar, she winces a little. "Every single bar I've walked into has ended up getting tra--..." and then there's flying spiral mohawkbikers. "... Really?! REALLY!? I can't walk into a single bar." she begins, grabbing one of the flying bikers by the helmet and slamming him into the floor after whipping him around, then up overhead. "ONE. SINGLE. BAR. Without some ASSHOLE TRYING TO FIGHT ME!?" she's irrationally angry about this, and goes off on a rampage, picking up tables, or unlucky thigs, and using them to batter the bigger, tougher thugs.
Rebecca Chambers Rebecca winces a little at the sight of seeing the knife wielder get his stomach sliced open. Quite a bit extreme in her opinion, but she decides not to say anything right now. With the pile of bodies rising and the cars ruined, Rebecca just wants to get someplace indoors with the rain starting to fall. Fortunately, it seems that the bar is just ahead.

It's a good thing Rebecca's not one to go out drinking, because this is definitely not a watering hole she'd want to be using with all these thugs and goons here. Not to mention, Yang's yelling and screaming isn't making this place any more enjoyable, but now is not the time for that.

Knowing there are more goons waiting to go down, and preferring to leave the helmeted goons to those who are more combat oriented, Rebecca attempts to take down the lesser thugs, demonstrating why CQC is a LOT better than street fighting!
Big Boss As they continue forward, Monkey sheathes his sword and grabs one of the knives off his belt. He mixes it into CQC as they enter the bar, shattering motorcycle helmets and non-lethally slamming heads in.

To Yang, "Don't get angry on the battlefield. Control is crucial for enlightenment."
Karlan Nobles      When the fight begins in the bar, the piano music continues. The woman at the piano looks towards the bartender, and he simply shakes his head while looking over as the fight spills further into the bar. A keener eye might notice that the woman has some kind of whip hanging out from under her coat, but at least she's not getting involved in the fighting. The bartender, meanwhile, heads out through a back door.

Not that getting herself involved would help things much, it seems. Yang's already getting fired up beating people over the head with tables and other people, and it doesn't seem like any of the braver/dumber gangsters have any idea how her Semblance works as they just pile on her to the expected results. Max seems to be enjoying the show, too, even as he picks up a biker by the head and hurls that one into another crowd. "You even old enough for that?" He laughs, pauses, then shrugs. "Well, just as long as it ain't a fake ID, Blaze won't have to card you."

"Priorities, Max. Undercover officers make do with what they have." Blaze says with all the finesse and subtlety of someone twisting another person's arm to shove his own knife into his gut. It seems she's taking after Monkey's own method of dispatching these thugs, opting for efficiency at the moment. The two knife-wielders make mincemeat of the knife and chain-wielding gangsters, Monkey's killer instincts keeping the warier foes at bay while the dumber ones...

Well, they're not standing for long by the time he or Blaze get to them.

With so much attention being focused on Yang and Monkey, meanwhile, Rebecca and Pramanix have an easier time dispatching people without having five more ready to rush them. Like the everyone-else's-abilities, Rebecca's CQC training isn't something that the gangsters are equipped to deal with even though it's much tamer in comparison. Pramanix follows up on her CQC techniques with more brawl-ish fighting of her own, grabbing chairs and pool cues to smash against the occasional person.

It takes some doing, but the group eventually reaches the bar itself after their path of destruction renders the bar largely unusable as a bar without a whole lot of cleanup. The woman at the piano simply keeps playing the piano tune, albeit with more mistakes what with the pile of bodies laid out behind the group. She gestures at the still-open back door of the bar, and Blaze gives her a withering look as she and Max lead the group outside.
Karlan Nobles     Outside the bar, the rain has turned into a heavy drizzle. Not quite a storm, but certainly the type of weather that would fit the opening scene of someone's origin story involving a relative being murdered or something. The bartender is sitting against the side of a motorcycle, tapping his fingers against his bicep while bearing a distinctly irritated, but not particularly angry grimace.

"Of all the bars you could have picked, it HAD to be this one again?" Blaze and Max exchange confused looks for a moment, then shrug before the former steps forward. "We know you know what Mr. X has planned, Barbon. We can do this the easy way or the hard way!"

As if on cue, more of those motorcycle helmet bikers leap down from the roof of the bar and surrounding buildings, bearing chains and bottles while the denim vested thugs brings out their own knives. 'Barbon' stands up and throws his shirt off in one smooth motion, revealing himself to be rather jacked in addition to being tall, dark, and handsome.

It's time for another fight! Barbon fights with a strong mix of strength and speed that make his spinning kicks even more dangerous. Those that get too close get tossed right over his shoulder, those that try to stay far away are barraged with flurries of spinning kicks, and those that are too aggressive find that he's considerably more skilled in combat through the use of the most dreaded of techniques: BLOCKING.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang's Semblance is really ramping up, as more thugs pile on, they get blasted away with ever more intense blasts of kinetic force from her gauntlets.

Monkey's words earn him a glance, it's not the withering glare of someone deeply pissed off, it's the measured gaze of someone who, while indeed angry, is in complete control of their faculties, just venting frustrations.

Indeed she's actually not throwing random strikes, or hurling ineffective projectiles. Each movement is targetted and each one lands home, even if it's a glancing or not entirely effective blow.

Max earns a smirk. "I'm 22, man. I just make this look good." she replies, backhooking a thug with her left leg, then pivoting and throwing him with the same motion.

As the brawl inside dies down, the piano player gets the stinkeye from Yang, before the group heads outside. "You really think you can take on all of us? I've fought Beowolves scarier than you." she settles into her stance, and instead of going straight for Barbon, she starts clearing out the side mooks, dipping between them and using her Aura and Semblance-enhanced strength to keep them off of the others... either Barbon comes for her to stop her rampage, or he has to fight the others alone
Rebecca Chambers Even with Yang dealing with things herself pretty much as well as Monkey using 'extreme' tactics to take on the mooks, Rebecca still has a job to do, and that involves taking out these goons. She figures that she'll back up Yang for the time being, and then take on Barbon if necessary. She figures that the less interference there is, the easier it will be for them.
Big Boss As they reach Barbon, Monkey refuses to kill him. He's unarmed. So, the swordsman fights similarly, a chop to the solar plexus to wind, another to the neck unarmed to daze. He understood Yang's glance, so he doesn't press.

"Show me your skill, 'Barbon'!" Monkey shouts out, in a CQC position, even as he's getting winded by the man's brutal strikes.
Karlan Nobles      "I have no idea what that is." Barbon replies to Yang with a deadpan tone, but his tone shifts ever so subtly as a slight grin crosses his face whilst turning around to punt Max into Blaze with a stiff side kick that carries far more force than it looks like it should. "But maybe you could enlighten me over drinks after we're finished here."

Thankfully, he doesn't stick a rose in his mouth or anything like that. There's still a fight going on, after all, and he's not so blind as to let Yang and Rebecca focus on taking down the goons without interfering. They do quite a good job at battering those bikers and denim guys, knives or bottles or otherwise, but they'll still need to contend with those fast-whipping kicks coming at them throughout the whole process! Monkey's more focused attacks on Barbon keep him on his toes, though, as their battle in the rain somehow doesn't devolve into a bloody brawl just yet.

No, it ends up becoming more of a contest of skills and will. Barbon's clearly an experienced fighter as he blocks the chop with his forearm and twists his body to narrowly avoid taking that thrust straight to the neck, but he still takes his fair share of bruises as he works on trying to keep Monkey outside of his optimal kicking range.

"You're not bad at this... Interesting skills." He hops back once and swings his foot out in another wide, yet fast kick that could easily go right over Monkey's head if he just ducks a little bit. It's a targeted kick, though, as he intercepts Blaze's attempt at a jumping kick and sends her right into Max.

"Haven't seen fighters like yourselves before. You aren't locals, are you?" It's a targeted question at just about everyone that aren't Blaze and Max, the local pair having quite a bit of trouble even getting close to the statuesque bartender. Fortunately for them, though, the rain starts to turn colder and a little more focused as Pramanix begins another ritual, noticeably slowing down Barbon's devestating kicks.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang's getting beaten up. Aura is only an ablative protection and it wears down over time. Using her Semblance drains it even faster, though she's got plenty of endurance. As Barbon strikes out, she gets hit pretty solidly a couple of times, whipped into a wall at least once, though the wall comes off far worse than she does.

Barbon doesn't seem like a bad guy, but he's still fighting /for/ the bad guy. "If you survive this, dude. I'll gladly drink you under a table." she remarks, finally pulling her trump card.

Fists slam together, a burst of radiance engulfs her form and her hair billows out as it begins to 'burn' with golden flames. Ember-like motes lift and waft from her as she starts actively consuming Aura to fully tap into the wellspring of energy she's built up, yellow lightning crackling across her body. "I. Burn." she states, then launches into close range, probably faster than normal human eyes can track easily. She aims between Monkey's strikes, a flurry of punches into Barbon's center of mass, each one relying on her own, albeit augmented, strength. Ember Celica has been packed away, the huntress relying on only what the God of Creation gave her.
Rebecca Chambers Rebecca initially attempted to assist with her stun baton, but when she saw what Yang was truly capable of, she stepped back before getting back safely. Rebecca is caught off-guard by this huge display of power, and while her stun baton may have packed a small punch, it's nothing compared to Yang's power. She stands by, waiting with her stun baton on hand to fend off anyone who might get too close.
Big Boss Monkey is injured, but he smirks. "You're good with those blocks...can you block a sword? Let's finish this."

In a flash, Monkey is moving, and draws his sword so rapidly that he's swinging the next second. A flurry of slashes ring out, moving to cripple his arms and legs, yet avoiding any vital locations.

"For you bear no weapon, you may live. But know my name. Carving Monkey, one of the elite of Outer Heaven."

And then he sheathes his sword, assuming Barbon will be done for.
Karlan Nobles      Under normal circumstances, Barbon would put up a decent fight on his own. He doesn't have anything in the way of actual powers or enhancements, just pure skill and raw physical ability. In a fight with multiple Elites at once, though, he's fighting a losing battle, and lacking meat shields means he doesn't have much else on his side by the time the rest of the goons get taken down. The combination combination of Rebecca's stun baton, Max and Blaze utilizing a variety of grapples and smashing people into walls, and Pramanix's wintry ritual mean that Yang and Monkey have free reign to beat the bartender to a pulp.

Figurative pulp, of course. Just getting to this bar has probably made it evident that nobody in then-Virtua-now-Wood Oak City survives here for long without being physically conditioned to not die from the first person that punches them in the face or shoots them in the gut. It's another story entirely, then, to have to withstand Elite-level attacks, even if they're not aimed to kill him outright.

The Aura-enhanced punches almost certainly bruise ribs if not breaking them outright, even lifting him off the ground several times in a row as he winds up being just too slow to effectively block against them like he had with the strikes earlier. The blindingly flash slashes from Monkey's expert bladework don't even get noticed at first, but it's far too late for Barbon to put up a defense or offense once he realizes that his limbs have abruptly stopped working. He tries to get back up, but ends up falling right back down onto his face.

The fight is over, and there's finally a chance to breathe. There's bodies all over the place, Barbon is a bloodied mess, and the motorcycles are... Somehow intact? That's some small comfort to the bartender as he turns himself over slowly, grunting painfully as he drops onto his back and stares up at everyone nearby.

"Going a little overboard, don't you think? Ach, shit..." He tries sitting up for a moment, then grunts and falls back down right as Blaze and Max approach him with scowls and the barest hint of sympathy from those sword wounds.

"We'll be asking the questions here. We know you know Mr. X has something planned here. What is it?"
"Not here. I heard he's got a..." Barbon pauses for far longer than expected, prompting a nudge from Blaze's foot. "... Highway. Construction site."
"The one leading out to the suburbs?"
"That's the one. Heard he's using it to test something. Some weird new crap he's gotten his hands on."

"Sounds like that's our next stop, folks." Max grunts once as he claps his hands together to dust them off, the gesture not making quite as much sense considering that it's still raining hard. He and Blaze both seem satisfied, and they turn to leave.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang, once Barbon goes down and stays down, lets out a breath she didn't seem to be holding. With a slight stagger as if tension were suddenly rushing out of her body, a flicker of golden light appears, then breaks like glass, showering the area in short lived motes of light. "Highway huh? Sounds like I can use my bike there." she says, running a hand through her hair, then kneeling down beside Barbon. "You did a lot better than the Beowolf would've." she says, smirking at the big man. "Lets get you inside and patch ya up... I'll take ya up on the drink too, if that's still on the table."

Yang looks over at Max and Blaze. "You guys alright on your own? I mean, I kinda pulled your asses outta the fire when I got here."

Finally, she looks over at Monkey, Rebecca and Pramanix, though her statement is directed at the latter. "Only heard your voice on the radio before. Nice t'meetchya in person, despite the circumstances."
Rebecca Chambers "That was a bit violent, but I suppose it got the job done." Rebecca shrugs a little before saluting Blaze, Max, and Pramanix. "If you need anything else, let me know, all right?" She glares a little at Barbon before looking at the bar and shaking her head. She decides to return to headquarters instead of tying one on tonight.
Karlan Nobles      "Couldn't hurt for getting there. Might be tricky the rest of the way, but... Well, you'll see how it is." Barbon chuckles painfully at Yang, keeping a brave face despite the apparent weakness in his limbs following the slashes from earlier. "Very kind of you, ma'am. As long as I can hold a bottle, I'll see if I can't work something out. Electra knows where the first aid kit is."

Of course, that's just the cue that the woman in blue from earlier needs to step outside with (what else) the first aid kit. Max and Blaze step aside, the former laughing at the jab from Yang while the latter doesn't seem quite as amused.

"Don't get cocky. We would've figured something out." She grumbles and thwaps Max's elbow lightly as she heads back inside, slipping one arm back into her own jacket (denim, of course) while giving Electra the side-eye just in case. "It still doesn't make sense how he was able to hold us back so easily, though..."

Pramanix, meanwhile, straightens up as she dips into a more formal bow in greeting. She's looking a fair bit roughed up herself and somewhat winded, but she's holding it together quite well all things considered. "Likewise, miss. Although I have to say, I do prefer it more exciting like this. It's so much better than staying inside..."

Aside from the rain. That's enough to get Pramanix to go back inside with the others, although she doubles back shortly afterwards to help get Barbon back in. The rest of the goons don't get quite the preferential treatment, of course, and any drinks will need to be done sans tables and with several injured lining the walls, but at least for now...

The group has some time to relax. Their next target: The highway construction site.
