Scene #7041: Princesses & Vampires

Touta Konoe	For one reason or another Touta feels a hankering to work up a sweat, and one of the best ways he can think of is by hitting the Shrine to hit some people. The young man had already arrived into the arena giving his guest the place to meet at. Hopefully Sarracenia could recognize the youth with spikey-black hair and the black attire he usually kept on him. His wardrobe choices were pretty. Standard. Even the black sword should be recognizeable enough. "Hey Sarra, thanks again. Anyway do you want to change up the scenery a bit or does the default setting work for ya?"
Sarracenia	Whether she recognizes Touta or not, the princess would be pretty hard to miss. With her copper-colored hair and her red and black battle dress, she makes sure she is never forgotten...for good or ill. She makes her way into the arena that Touta mentioned and looks around. When she sees the young boy with the spikey hair, she peers at him. Does she recognize him? She might feel a bit bad if she doesn't, but on the other hand she sees so many people in a typical day that she wouldn't blame herself. She blinks after a moment, then gasps. "Oh! So that is who you are! I believe we made quite a splash together in the depths of those unfortunate girls' grief dimension." the princess says, then makes her way over to him. She looks him over before...holding her arms open in an offer of a hug. "If you and Mikoto have adopted each other, then we are practically siblings as well! Thus, we should share a hug!" she declares cheerfully. Then pauses uncertainly, "...that...is something that friends of a close friend who are hardly more than aquaintances should do, is it not?"
Touta Konoe	He smirks when he sees her recognized, though... "Pffft, that's the thing you remember me from? But uh, if you want a hug, sure I guess." He shrugs a little before giving her the aforementioned hug. He doesn't seem to really mind one way or another giving the princess a affectionate enough embrace without restraing. Seems he's not shy about hugging royalty at least. Though when he finishes he lines himself back over to his corner. "Anyway, we didn't adopt each other. Mikoto got adopted by my guardian like I said over the radio. We can talk plenty about Mikoto later. Right now...I could really use that spar. And just to make sure but..." He gives a bit of a smirk as he places his sword into the dirt to crack his knuckles, "...You won't feel bad if a close friend ends up getting serious right?"
Sarracenia	The princess giggles with child-like glee as she is hugged. Seems she doesn't mind being touched by those not of a royal station, either. "Yes yes, I heard you. But, I also heard the discussion when it was happening. You two adopted each other, even if it was officially your guardian adopting her." she says. As Touta pulls away and pulls out his sword, Sarracenia smirks back and reaches into her purse to pull out...that ridiculously large hammer that shouldn't even fit in a shoulder satchel. She hefts it and performs a twirling flourish with it before resting it on her shoulder. "I will not feel bad about it, so long as you do not try to send Mikoto after me when I win~" she says, a confident giggle following that sing-song last word.
Touta Konoe	He chuckles a bit at her remark as she pulls out that mallet. He's definitely seen it before at least and he doesn't question how in the world she keeps it stowed away. He's seen enough to just sorta roll with it. A thing most people tend to learn while being in the Multiverse. Though when she pulls out her mallet, he doesn't immediately pull out his sword from where it was. In fact... "Grasp the earth...Grasp the-" The young man speaks softly for a moment as his image blurs. As if like trying to take a picture of a object simply moving too fast he moves in the same way that it distorts his appearence to the naked eye. Though when he appears again it becomes apparent that he's coming in strong from the start. A fist comes aimed right into Sarra's gut just as his body comes back into view. "World!"
Sarracenia	Sarracenia blinks in surprise as Touta's form blurs. She really doesn't have much in the way of super abilities, and so Touta's distorted attack finds its mark quite easily. The princess lets out a 'oomph!' as the breath is knocked out of her. She stumbles back, coughing and gasping for breath. She looks a bit surprised that Touta didn't use his sword. Sarracenia has to take a moment to catch her breath, but when she does she smirks. "You seem quite strong for a child. But, I suppose I should know not to judge power based on appearance by now." She goes into a slow twirl, like a dancer going through her first few steps. Her speed gradually increases until she is spinning like a top with that hammer held out at arms length. "So, you better not think I will be easy to defeat just because I am a princess!" she says as she comes spinning in, aiming to hammer Touta a number of times, bouncing back like a battle top when deflected and coming back in for another strike.
Touta Konoe	Touta's a bit surprised at first when he sees her swinging her mallet in such a way. "Hey, can you even see where you're hitting like th- AH?!" Touta seems to do his best to stay out of reach of her mallet, and for the most part he does a good jobbing keeping the distance, though on one of those spins he ends up getting caught by the mallet and even with only a small strike, he feels a heavy impact that forces him to brace himself. There's a wince as he takes it, but he'll take the attack in stride. Though rather than try to deflect the attack as it comes Touta rolls with the punches or in this case the mallet. He grabs onto the tip of the mallet with his good hand, and using his overwhelming strength and her own momentum from her swing to fling her into the air, and then slam her to the ground.
Sarracenia	Sarracenia is -very- surprised when Touta not only catches onto but then lifts and slams her AND her hammer! With the force of her own swing and Touta amazing strength, she leaves a rather noticable imprint in the ground where she was smashed down on her back. She lets out a pained yelp upon hitting the ground, then lies there wincing. "Nnnng...u-usually..." she manages as she works to stand up again. She staggers a bit, looking pretty beaten up already. She stands up straight finally and hefts her hammer once more. "How did you manage to avoid me so well? My aim is impeccable! Here, let me show you!" She reaches into her purse, and in a few swift motions a trio of Bullet Bills go flying upward. "Take this! My Bullet Bill Barrage!" she exclaims as she once again goes into a spin, and as each person-sized, shark-faced bullet comes down she hammers it forcefully on the back. Each hit causes an explosive sound much like artillery fire, and Touta finds three massive shells flying toward him in quick succession!
Touta Konoe	Touta...Hits harder than even he expected. Though perhaps that just had to do with his attack using more of her own force against her? Either way even he can't help but wince a little when he sees how hard she slams into the ground. Watching her as she gets herself up, "Hey...You okay? I mean...I think it was less about your aim when it- Bullet Bills?" Before he even has a chance to question it more once again he's thrown into a situation of having to dodge at the last minute. The Bills either being dodged, or attempted to punch out of the air. Though he finds himself only able to avoid two with the third one nipping him similar to the mallet. Only this time he doesn't have a way to return the attack back to her. Smacking at the side of his torso and tearing into his shirt showing a bit of bruising and bleeding. Though before her eyes she can see Touta beginning to heal already. "Okay, those were cool. I don't have anything like that but I guess if I should try some new stuff myself. Side-stick!" With his shout his blade flies from the ground behind him, and into his hand before he charges. Looking to be trying to take the fight to the next level as he brings his blade to swing at her, though the moment it impacts this princess might notice his blade might be feeling just a bit heavier than she might have been expecting.
Sarracenia	Sarracenia blinks as only one of her Bullet Bills even manages to graze Touta, then she growls in annoyance. "Thank you, but they would have been much cooler if they had actually -all- hit you!" she says, seeming frustrated now. "It has not been /that/ long since I battled! I should not be so out of practice!" she exclaims. Touta comes charging in, and the princess tries to maneuver her hammer to parry the blow while moving her body out of the way at the same time. And it works! ...in that she catches the blow on the haft of her hammer. The rest doesn't work so well. The sword ironically hammers her so hard she goes flying across the arena. Her hammer follows after, but falls from her grip and goes clattering across the ground. The princess bounces several times before finally smashing into the arena border, where she leaves a royal impression before falling forward onto all fours, coughing. It takes her several long seconds to get back to her feet this time, and she looks both angry and very battered. There is even some red flowing from the corner of her mouth, and some noticable cuts along her arms and legs from all the bouncing. "Alright! You said you would not hold back! Then I will not!" The princess reaches into her purse and pulls out a black metal block with ! marks on each side. She sets it down, then presses down on the top exclamation mark before stepping back. The box unfolds...and unfolds, and unfolds some more, until finally it is a massive compact cannon supported on a rather stubby base. The barrel looks big enough for Sarracenia to stand up in! "If you liked the Bullet Bills, then you should love the Bonzai Bill!!" she exclaims, with just a biiiit of a maniacal tone and an equally maniacal grin. There is a grinding sound of metal on metal before with a heavy 'Ka-thunk' a shell that is bigger than a car slides into place, its shark-faced nosecone pointed at Touta. "Fire!!" Sarracenia hits a big red button on the side of the cannon, and with a reverberating 'KA-THOOM!' it fires the giant shell. But, rather than flying at super-sonic speeds it comes barreling toward him only a bit faster than a typical sprinter. It does at least track his movements, and when it gets close enough or finally hits the ground... It explodes, sending shrapnel everywhere. But, that isn't the end of it. The initial explosion is followed by a series of steadily increasing explosions until finally there is a pause followed by one last, even bigger explosion that leaves a noticable mushroom cloud in the arena. And as the last explosion fades one can hear Sarracenia's somewhat manic laughter dying off as well. "How did you like that, Touta?!" she exclaims, grinning with almost sadistic glee at the possible destruction that her Bonzai Bills can unleash.
Touta Konoe	When she makes her remark about all of them hitting him, Touta can't help but smirk a little, "If all those hit me I would totally end up dead though! There's no practice about it!" This princess didn't seem to know just how much heat she was really packing. Though when it comes to packing heavy weapons it seems that Touta's own ends up being the heavier of the two. Sending the princess flying back again to which again as he sees her getting up almost asks if she wants to stop. But when he sees the blood on her lip, and the fire in her eyes, he feels like doing such would be a waste. So the little vampire continues to work. "Give it all you got Princess, I'm right here...Eh?" And just as he says that...He regrets it immediately. "Hey, hey, hey, isn't that a little overboard?! And why are you laughing so hard! Hey! Calm down a second! Time-out! Time-out!" But it's too late and the Bonzai Bill launches. The attacks waaaaay to large and fast for him to dodge and well...SPLAT Touta's head goes flying in one direction, an arm in the other. intestines and guts get caught by the Bonzai bill as it unravels and unwinds his inners as a tape-measure of how far it goes before it hits the other side of the arena. His blood litters the stadium floor at her feet and even some upon her dress. In her maniacal attack she had killed this boy, even if he could be undone by the Shrine his body was...Completely eviscerated. "You seriously weren't kidding huh?!" She must be so guilty she can hear him in her head but that can't be the case when his head was right th-...Sarra watches as the head that had been dislodged moments ago fades into dust. The limbs from the other moment also fading across the battlefield like they never existed and before she realizes it... If she blinked she might have missed it but from a single speck of blood at her feed, Touta would regenerate his entire body. It was so fast it would almost seem like he had just appeared right out of nowhere, as if he had teleported. But that being the case, he was in front of her and he was bringing his fist right up to her jaw in an uppercut with all the strength he could muster left. "Better grit those teeth, princess!"
Sarracenia	Despite the extremely potent weapon she used on Touta, when he explodes like that...the princess completely freaks out. Her laughter, which had been dying off already, catches in her throat before she actually shrieks quite loudly and for several moments. The gore is apparently something she was not expecting as a result of the explosion, and when it actually /lands on her dress/ she looks like she is on the verge of fainting. Touta has no way to know, and probably couldn't have stopped it even if he did, but a bit of mental trauma that Sarra suffered a few years back now comes flooding back to her. She starts trembling as she looks at the spots on her dress. The logical part of her mind that would remind most people that this is all undoable doesn't seem to kick in, and she just stands there after her scream dies down. And to top it all off, the head talks to her! She...well, she screams again, albeit a shorter one this time. And it looks her lights are already fading when Touta reforms and delivers a punch that should probably take her head off. She once again goes flying, this time in a high arc and head over heels. She lands head first on top of her own cannon, bounces off, and slides back onto the ground, where she lands in a crumpled heap. The arena resets, taking all the actual harm with it, but the princess still doesn't get up. And if Touta approaches, he'd find her curled up, trembling and murmuring about how she didn't mean to and how Mikoto will never forgive her.
Touta Konoe	The fight ends, but the damage is done...The events that transpired all reverse as casuality is completely overwritten. Touta doesn't immediately notice, simply stretching out a bit trying to get use to his body wholly regenerating, "Nnnngh, that's such a tough trick to keep doing. Hey Sarra, thanks again but next time easy with the...Sarra...?" As he starts having a bit more attention turn her way he realizes the woman still curled up and starts heading over. The trembling look on her face as she talks about Mikoto not forgiving makes him realize exactly what happens, and without hesitation he curls up besides her and hugs her once more. He makes sure to be delicate but make sure she knows he's here as he speaks gently. "Hey, hey, hey, it's okay. There's nothing to forgive. You didn't do anything bad okay. Just breathe. Just breathe. I'm right here. You didn't do anything wrong..." When he feels like she's calmed down somewhat he pulls her face to look him in the eyes so he can smile with reassurance. "See...I'm all okay. Mikoto's not angry, and she won't be. Besides...It'll take a lot more than that to kill me, alright. Besides, I know a friend wouldn't try to hurt me, right?" With that he just tries to help her up and keep her calm and collected. Truthfully this is the first time he's seen her so panicked.
Sarracenia	Sarracenia's eyes widen as Touta hugs her, and in her panicked state she tries to get away. But, as he talks and hangs on she starts to come around, and when she realizes he's alright she ends up hugging him tightly. Tears form in her eyes and she starts half apologizing, half blaming Touta in any way she can with things like 'You should be more sturdy!' or 'Why did you not avoid that one?!' And -then- she finally remembers that they are in the Shrine. So not only is he a creature that she probably couldn't kill if she wanted to, but they are in an area where death is even more difficult to achieve. Which makes her embarrassed in addition to they slowly ebbing panic. At which point she blushes heavily and her cheeks puff up in a massive pouting face. She hops up quickly and releases Touta, looking anywhere but at his face. She feels like an idiot, and figures he must thinks she is one. That or a psycho and a child. Not to mention how weak she must seem right now, and that is something she really doesn't like. She looks about ready to bolt when he mentions those last few things, and just as her first fleeing footstep hits the floor she blinks and comes to a stop. "....r-right! Yes! Friends d-do not actually hurt each other!" she says shakily, obviously trying to force a more calm and regal tone. "...please do not tell Mikoto that I exploded you all over the arena with a Bonzai Bill..." she adds in a much quieter, much more pleading tone. Mikoto might very well find it hilarious, but Sarra doesn't want to take that chance.
