Nanoha Takamachi     Administrated World #21. Nacrade. The capital city seems heavily industrialized, with much of its real estate dedicated to manufacturing plants and their offices. One such plant is where the coordinates provided by Nanoha lead to.

                           Pharmafarm Manufacturing
                             A Syntech Subsidiary

Arriving on the scene, people will find that there is already a police presence. Several patrol cars have surrounded the factory and there are police barriers set up to warn people back.

There are quite a few people actually. Some might be onlookers but most appear to be the actual factory workers who have evacuated. Some are still talking to the police. Others are being treated for minor injuries, apparently burns and blunt forced trauma. The rest are simply watching to see how the situation plays out.

Nanoha is also already here, coordinating with the police, "Additional help is on the way. I need you to begin moving the civilians away from the scene, it could get dangerous depending on how the Lost Logia reacts." Or how the additional help reacts to the Lost Logia.

The factory itself is pretty simple. There are a few large doors and some small ones leading inside on the ground floor. Most likely the main manufacturing floor. Meanwhile there are exterior stairs leading up to a second level. Which judging by the window and door placement suggests a smaller area for management offices and worker common areas.

The sounds of humming energy, clanking metal and welding can be heard from within the main factory floor.
Lory Thumper      One more officer joins the police line! Except this one is a bunny! Lory Thumper makes her way through the police barricade, showing her Paladin credentials if necessary. She takes note of the injuries, then makes her way over to Nanoha. "Hello Nanoha. Nice to see you again, although this isn't the best of circumstances."

Lory looks toward the factory after that. "Any idea what's going on inside? If not, I can probably get a look inside without any danger." Lory holds up a disc-shaped device that is clearly some kind of remote surveilance drone.
Silica     1 hour ago. Gatecrashers guild house at Haven.

"Pina~~~, I'm trying to work~~!" the voice of one Keiko Ayano sounds as a cat pounces and playfights with a small feathery dragonling. "You too Pina, you're as bad as each other." They both pause, look up, and give the 'sad puppy eyes'. "Aww, don't do that... just go play somewhere else, okay? I'll be done soon."

    Present,

"Well, that about wraps that u---" her phone pings a notification. "Well, I need to get out of Haven... I'll come help! I'm Silica... don't mind the wyvern when I arrive." she says, then tucks the phone into a pocket, makes a gesture in the air and returns Pina(The dragonling one) to her pet inventory. "Look after the place while I'm out. I promise to play with you when I get back. Okay?" she says to the cat, stooping to scritch her lightly, then steps from the room and out into the castle's courtyard. "Link Start!" A brief flare of wireframe, texture mapping and a twitch of cat ears and tail later, Silica stands where Keiko once did. She summons her mount, climbs aboard and takes to the air, aiming for the nearby Warpgate.

    On Scene,

The officers would hear the leathery snap of wings cutting through the air before they see the large shape of the wyvern swoop down and come to land in a clearer section of the crowd. It lands with a heavy thud, and shakes itself out as the Cait Sith rider dismounts, pats its neck and bows politely. "Sorry it took so long. I'm Silica, I have my pets, and can use mid-level healing and protective magic, and high level attack magic." she draws her dagger. "I'm also adept with dagger fighting, so I hope you can count on me to be a good support."
Penelope Vasquez      Another person rolls up on the busy, busy scene; tall, lean, a sickly sort of tan. She's wearing a thick black coat, riding a motorcycle that hums like a lightbulb as it rolls towards the blockades. It rolllls itself to a start- before nearly being flattened by a landing wyvern. Penelope Vasquez eyes the creature, and the woman dismounting from it, before just swinging off her own less impressive ride with a soft huff, and a clear of her throat. She just nods aside at the creature if any of the officers on-scene ask for validation. "I'm with her."

A moment to identify who the speaker on the radio is- Nanoha, as she quickly overhears. She steps through the mess with a relaxed, loping stride, dragging a pair of goggles onto her face to peer at- and through- the factory doors, the device attempting to analyze movement through the walls. "Heyo. 'm Penny, here to help. Assume you've interviewed the workers? What they seen inside, what we dealing with?"
S6     -LOCATION REACHED-

A mechanized, vaguely male voice announces the arrival of a silver-haired woman in a black and red outfit, more or less a uniform. When she hits the ground, she braces, but doesn't actually enter a three-pointed stance. Rising up to her full height, she lifts a hand to her face, adjusting the opaque black visor covering her eyes. Striker Six glances up thoughtfully, noting the arrival of a dragon a short time before herself. That would be the wyvern mentioned by 'Silica', no doubt.

S6's approach is measured, thoughtful steps that click on the pavement. A boxy machine with mechanical arms floats up beside her, just behind her shoulder. When she finally speaks, it is a curt and commanding tone: "Pod."

-PROPOSAL: UNIT S6 AND ALLIES SHOULD INVESTIGATE BOTH SIGNALS.-

Her gaze turns towards the TSAB mage, then those gathering around her. Including... Well. Her presumed gaze lingers on Lory a moment longer. She certainly wasn't kidding about being a rabbit.
Touta Konoe      Touta's one of the later arrivals of 'additional help' but when the call goes out he does find his way back to Nanoha's universe. It would have taken him much longer if not for the help of the TSAB likely giving him appropriate transport to Nacrade.

Arriving on the scene he definitely spots a familiar faces all around, and then some new ones. "Nanoha! Lory! Silica! Hey, sorry I'm late!"

He runs over to the group with a wave and leaves the greetings at that. It looked like Nanoha had all of them huddled together at the moment to discuss what the situation was, so he's not gonna bother speaking up. The few that know him should know his deal by now, and to those who don't well...

On first appearence the young man before them looks no older than his early teens. He's definitely a bit short to say the least. His favorite color must be black or something cause the spikey black-haired kid's attire is almost entirely black with his gakuran and pants with only a tint of color coming from his red t-shirt. Hell, even the unsheathed sword he has resting on his shoulder is completely jet black. Though despite his dark color scheme, this kid's demeanor seemed nothing but bright and outgoing as he gave a nod to Penelope and S6 before waiting to have Nanoha spill the beans on what was going on.
Nanoha Takamachi     Nanoha finishes up with the police officer just as people start to arrive. She gives Lory a smile as she rplies, "Hello, Lory. Thanks for coming." Nanoha then moves a hand to hold her hair as a large winged creature flies in, a young girl riding atop it. That's not familiar! Plus she has support magics. Handy. Nanoha gives Silica a friendly smile, "Nice to meet you, Silica. I'm Nanoha. I'm sure your magic will be helpful." Given the situation, introductions are probably best kept short.

Given Penny's appearance, the officers on the perimeter don't dispute her claim, nor try to stop her approach. The same is true of S6. Apparently the local authorities are used to strangely dressed types interjecting in matters such as this.

Nanoha gives both Penny and S6 nods of greeting. She was then about to start the explanation when Touta shows up. Nanoha gives him a smile in return to his greeting, saying, "It's fine."

Nanoha then dives into an explanation, providing answers to some of the questions already asked, "The police have already questioned the workers. According to their statements, there was a large flash of light from an unknown source. The machinery then stopped following normal procedures and started acting without obvious control. It then started constructing something new. The factory was evacuated after several workers were injured, though it appears it wasn't directed attacks. They just got caught in the middle of whatever was happening. After an external attack was ruled out, it was concluded that this was likely the result of a Lost Logia. To those who aren't aware, that is a term we use to refer to ancient magical artifacts, usually of a dangerous nature."

Nanoha grips her staff a little tighter as she finishes, "We need to determine the location of the Lost Logia and neutralize it. Preferably before it completes whatever it is building, as it is unlikely to be anything good." Nanoha tilts her head a little, "Any questions?"
Silica     Silica raises a hand, much like a little kid on a field trip. She doesn't wait to be acknowledged before speaking though. "What exactly are we looking for? That might help narrow down places it could be." she says, then makes a few gestures in the air in front of her while waiting. Going through inventory, and actually summoning forth some of her pets.

They materialize in flashes of white light, beginning as amorphous 'blobs' of energy with some machine code mixed in, before resolving into the forms of a dragonling(Pina), a colourful snake with wings(Hibiki), a bat with a hawk's head and talons(Kobayashi), and a boar-like creature with icicles for tusks, and a coat of plated ice like a shell(Nana). They stick close, with Pina perching on Silica's shoulder in what seems like a customary position. "My pets have crowd control abilities, Pina can heal a little, and Nana can drag someone away if they get too hurt." she says, indicating which one she's talking about when mentioning their name.
Nanoha Takamachi     Nanoha watches Silica summon a number of familiars, looking rather impressed at the sight. But Nanoha then looks a little apologetic, "I'm not sure. Lost Logia come in all sizes and shapes. But they tend to be very distinctive. Chances are you'll know it when you see it."
Touta Konoe      Touta scratches the back of his head. "So it's a search and retrieve mission then? Well, I don't really have anything fancy to help us look but at least if I do find something I can make sure I stick with it. I'll start going first and give a heads up on the comms if there's something everyone should keep their eyes on. If this Logias is the same as the last one I bet it'll be really weird to figure out. I'll check out the manufacturing floor first since it looked like that was probably where most of those people who got attacked where at."

It's a simple plan but in his mind that made sense. He's not the best detective, but if there's one thing he can do is truck through a lot of craziness without getting himself hurt. So if that was the case why shouldn't he investigate the part of the factory where people were getting pulled out of with burns and blunt trauma right? So with that in mind he starts heading through one of the ground floor entrances towards the main factory floor. "Let's see what they got cooking in here."
Lory Thumper      Lory gives a nod of greeting to each person that arrives, except Touta who she's met before at least and so he gets a, "Hello Touta." She raises an eyebrow when S6 looks down at her with that somewhat extended glance. "Is there something I can do for you?" the bunny asks the android. Silica summons a veritable army of magical creatures, and that leaves Lory a bit wide-eyed. "Are they conscious?" she asks Silica, watching the nearest one with some caution and some curiousity.

The situation is sumarized, and Lory considers a moment. "Would this Lost Logia have to be close to some kind of computer access point? Or could it control things from anywhere within the factory?"
Nanoha Takamachi     Nanoha looks at Lory, "Based on what I've heard, this Lost Logia is likely powerful enough that it doesn't require an access point. We would have noticed if it was acting from outside the factory. But beyond that, it could be anywhere."
S6     "Hmm..." S6 lifts a hand, cradling her chin as she takes in what Nanoha explains. She also listens to Silica and Touta and Lory's comments. After a moment, she simply shifts and steps past the group-- approaching the factory itself.

The hilts of the two swords she carries assume a golden glow, then expand magic circles from the crossguards. The weapons slide from their scabbards with synchronized flourishes, then assume a position floating just behind her.

"We won't get anything done standing around and talking about it. Pod."

-MAGIC SIGNATURES DESIGNATED A AND B.-
-SIGNAL A IS LOCATED ON THE STRUCTURE'S MAIN FLOOR. SIGNAL PROFILE SUGGESTS IT IS SOURCED FROM SIGNAL B.-
-SIGNAL B IS LOCATED ON THE STRUCTURE'S SECOND FLOOR.-

Without waiting for any permission or acknowledgement, the android circles around the outside, searching for a fire escape to scale and enter the building. Distance from the ground isn't a problem, from the way she can jump.
Penelope Vasquez      Penelope humphs in quiet thought as she listens to the officer in charge, pulling her goggles back off her head as they reveal few clues. She chews on her tongue for a moment, jaw working before she speaks. "So... we're looking for a magical doohicky that we'll know on sight, and it's just... taken over an assembly line. But it's not hostile, and the workers just got smacked around by being in the wrong place?" A glance around at the others, before shrugging, stepping towards the factory along with Touta. "If it's not actually attacking anyone, why don't we just kick the door in and poke around?"

And, barring interjection, that's exactly what she does, with a literal boot to the door.
Lory Thumper      "Actually, we -will- get something done by standing around and talking about it." Lory says, ears lowering in a bit of annoyance. "Namely, forming a plan of approach that is least likely to get someone injured or killed." She sighs softly atfter that. "But...it does seem like we can't do much more out here." she admits. She slips her helmet on, her ears poking up through holes in the top, then heads toward the factory as well, although she heads to a different door than the others. Spreading out usually makes a search go faster, right?

Or does it? She pauses a moment as she hears that voice from S6. "Hey...how accurate is that scanner of yours?" she asks as she starts to follow S6.
Reyes     A manufacturing plant gone haywire? When Reyes saw this situation arising, he was quick to hop on board. Being a Techno-Wizard with a flair for telemechanics that exceeds most other things he can do, he's pretty sure he can help. Since he CAN help, he WILL help. That's just how he is...

But that being said, he is strangely a tad late for some reason. He arrives via the skies, garbed in his fully-encasing environmental battle armor, techno-magical wings extended and blazing with angelic blue light to hold him aloft. He swoops around the factory with his sensors active, gathering data and recording a map. If there's a map available on Paladin Tactical Networks yet, he'll be plugging that into his suit's automap system...

He swoops down for a mighty CLANK-WHUMPF superhero landing just in time to hear Nanoha's explanation on matters... and one look at her...

    One LONG look at her...

The Techno-Wizard's helmet tilts forward ever so slightly. Hard to tell what exactly that means, but...

"So-so we've gotta find whatever's behind the chaos and put a stop to it. Any preference about HOW? Unknown magical artifacts don't blow up very nicely in my experience. If it doesn't have an off switch we might have to get REALLY creative. Absolute worst case scenario doesn't just end with the factory blowing up..." He shudders in the suit. Well, the suit shudders a bit too. His voice is slightly muffled by the helmet, but there's definite worry in it.

"I've got a way with machines though. Small chance whatever it is'll listen to me. Dunno until I try! The name's Reyes. Techno-Wizard specialist of the Tomorrow Legion!"
Nanoha Takamachi     Nanoha blinks as someone in a heavy armour suit lands near the gathered group. She wasn't familiar with Reyes yet and the suit looked a little over the top. But she doesn't say anything as he introduces himself, "I'm Nanoha." She nods along with much of what he says, "The Lost Logia needs to be handled with care. Or we risk creating a disaster. As for stopping it, it depends on what we find. I do have sealing magics designed to neutralize Lost Logia. But they're not always effective. And other methods may prove useful. Magics or technologies that restrain or drain powers for example. As a last resort, simply trying to gain mental control of it can work. But that's probably the most dangerous means."

As that seems to be the end of any questions for the moment, Nanoha raises her staff, "Be careful, everyone. Lost Logia can be quite powerful and unpredictable." Nanoha proceeds to follows those that are heading for the main factory floor.

Penelope gives one of the large sets of doors a kick. They swing open hard, crashing into the walls with a loud CLANG that echoes through the huge open room. A very loud entrance.

    Nothing responds to it.

Penny, Touta, Nanoha and Silica enter the huge open room to find it littered with bits and pieces of machinery. It seems that they've been cannibalized by the construction taking place at the center. Said construction is apparently a structure, consisting of four separate pieces all facing a center point. There are also cables running between them. The pieces are topped by what look like partially constructed emitters of some sort. Though what they emit specifically isn't clear yet as they are not currently operational.

The construction is being done by a series of robotic arms suspended from the roof. They are all producing small spell circles from their tips. Some are using them to levitate pieces of machinery into place and forming connections by materializing wires. Others are firing lasers in order to slices pieces up and weld them into position. It's a complex ballet of moving parts working in harmony in order to construct the device. Which is progressing rapidly.

As for S6, she easily finds a set of stairs rising up to a door on the second floor. Easy enough for Lory to follow along too. The is locked, secured by what looks like an electronic lock. But it's not hard for the android to bypass it, whether by force or not. It leads to a kitchen and lounge area, likely where workers rest on breaks. Branching off from the room is a hallway, which has several doors leading into what appear to be offices. All but one of the doors are labeled with management positions and names.

Unfortunately for the two, the amount of magical power in the local area makes it difficult for S6's pod to pinpoint the exact location of the source on this floor. Fortunately for the two, there aren't many rooms to explore. And soon enough they'll find a clearly strange looking device in the unmarked office. It floats in the air above the empty desk. Diamond shaped, but split in half with complex glowing circuitry visible on the inside. It's surrounded by a spherical barrier of purple magic energy and hums with a continuously rising intensity.
S6     The lock is forced. S6 is not a lockpick, though. It's done rather inelegantly with a sword blade, run straight through the windowframe. When the failsafe lock kicks in to secure the window, she releases the weapon. It moves on its own, carving through the frame and simply excising the window. Paltry damage compared to potentially losing the entire building. Once inside, her POD responds to Lory:

-SCANNERS PINPOINTED THE GENERAL LOCATION. HOWEVER, INTERFERENCE IS PREVENTING MORE PRECISE TRACKING.-
-PROPOSAL: UNIT S6 AND OFFICER THUMPER SHOULD INSPECT EACH ROOM ON THE SECOND FLOOR.-

"Tch..." is S6's response. At least her Pod was able to give her a ballpark location, though. And it becomes a minigame of opening office doors. Those that are locked are unlocked using the universal key-- swords. Again, less expensive to repair that than to replace the entire facility. That's S6's rationale, anyway.
Penelope Vasquez     Penelope readies herself before kicking at the door- dropping into a low, ready stance, prepared for whatever resistance is on the other side. A hand drops into her coat, preparing to draw-

And she kicks! And the thud echoes into the empty assembly plant. She looks a little disappointed, just straightening up and stepping in. After a brief discussion over radio- anyone near her may note her mouth doesn't actually move as she speaks- she simply strides up to the mechanical monstrosity, giving it a brief once-over. Composed of mundane robotics and steel, connected by mundane-looking wires... the only weirdness here is the fact that construction arms are using telekinesis to fit it all together. But, according to the boss on-scene, it's no good and needs to go, or at least have it's construction stalled until the other side of the team can shut down the artefact responsible.

So, she swipes her sleeve, a knife appearing from somewhere in it and landing in her palm. She sticks her tongue out the corner of her mouth as she cuts at the wiring, approaching it with the eye of someone trying to dismantle IKEA furniture, rather than a magical construct.
Silica     Silica follows dutifully, pulling her dagger from its sheath, and making a series of sounds with her mouth to command her pets. They spread out, and the boar, Nana, scuffs the ground as it eyes the builder arms... It squeals, and then snorts, shooting off a stream of super cold air from its nose that flash freezes water molecules in the air, aiming to freeze up some of the arms, to either slow them down, or stop them outright.
Reyes     In point of fact, Reyes's Environmental Battle Armor is a light model. It's not even power armor. The royal blue primary color and gold trim is maybe a little ostentatious, but the glyph--circuits covering it are the real deal. Some of the arcane sigils come to life with a rush of luminous white-blue energy. It surges through the glyphs and reaches the circuit-buses, filling every energy channel. In response the armor gains a wireframe shielding effect. The clockwork angelic wings DO retract, though. Reyes doubts flying will be of much use inside the factory.

"Wish we could meet in better circumstances... but if there's a magical artifact to subude, that'll just have to come first!" Reyes exclaims. He's clearly using some kind of magic of his own.

Once the group's on the move, well, Reyes keeps up with those going for the main entrance. ALMOST the lone guy in this group... and the only one wearing proper body armor. It's hella awkward, and a phenomenon that just seems to keep happening. "Surprising nobody else seems to like complete body armor." He comments, sounding just a tad concerned for the others. He's seen some -crazy- things both in his own world AND in the Multiverse, so even someone dressed in a swimsuit suplexing a demon king wouldn't be unthinkable, but, still...

"Looks like some kind of... antenna." He huffs from behind his breath filter."

And then, because he's stubborn and a little overconfident in his telemechanical abilities, he just walks over towards the machine being constructed. If nothing actually ATTACKS him he'll reach out to touch it... and expand his consciousness outwards to try and figure out WHAT the machine is. What is its purpose? How close to completion is it?
Lory Thumper      Lory is used to clearing a building room by room, so she just nods when the Pod gives the suggestion. "Alright. This shouldn't take too long." she says to S6 and Pod, then starts in the opposite direction from S6. Unlike S6 though, Lory -is- a lockpick, and any locked doors she encounters are unlocked through either physical or electronic means.

It is pretty uneventful until...that one door. Lory opens it, then...just stares at the floating thing for a few moments.

"Um...I think I found it." the bunny cop says over the radio. "Diamond shaped. Two halves that are rotating, and what might be some kind of energy barrier. And it if my ears are right, it is building up power." She enters the room cautiously and sends a live video feed to any who can receive such things.
Touta Konoe      Looking around the main factory floor there's no sign of a Logia, but the fact that there's such an odd sort of structure being built by the machines in the factory. The four structures that all verge at a central point, the lines of wiring being used to power the machines and the odd emitters.

Following in after Penelope's straight-forward entrance makes it easier for everyone else to pop in, "Man, what do you think someone tries to build that ends up needing a Logia anyway? Last time it was a crazy weather machine, can't think what it'd be this time."

For the most part it seems like everyone's already working on dismantling the assembly in one form or another. Penelope's cutting up wires, Silica's using her beasts to freeze things. She can do that?! He had no idea!!! "If those two are working on that, guess I should worry about anything that comes after?" He's seen the movies. You start fidgeting with the weird gadget and before you know it things go south real quick. So rather than wait for them to go south he does something that'll probably seem a bit odd to Penelope...And Silica if she hasn't seem him do it before. He pulls out a hula-hoop and just starts twirling it around his hips. He's not gonna bust up the place immediately but instead he's acting to react against any defense mechanisms that this Logia has. After all, that is what Nanoha warned them about.
Nanoha Takamachi     Nanoha looks concerned at the structure being built... She has no clue what it is. Though to be fair, that's mainly because she's not much of a scientist type. But her previous experiences clearly indicate that it's not something good.

As Lory reports finding something, a holoscreen appears in the air next to Nanoha, showing the video feed that the bunnycop is sending. Nanoha frowns a little at the sight, "Yes, that does appear to be it. And it appears protected." That's a problem. "Lory, S6. You might have to try breaking through the barrier so we can neutralize the Lost Logia."

While Nanoha is concerned with the artifact, the others on the factory floor are taking their own approaches to trying to halt the construction. Penelope proceeds to cut wires, moving from one to the next as she goes. But with each wire she cuts, a manufacturing arm lowers down, spell circle forming to materialize a new wire to replace it. This continues on as Penelope continues cutting. Frustrating.

Reyes tries to commune with the incomplete device. On the one hand, it becomes clear that it is designed to project energy. A LARGE amount of energy. Though given the fact that it's not finished yet, the purpose of that energy is unclear. However, Reyes WILL discover that it is already projecting some energy. Though not from the main emitters. Instead there appears to be a secondary system built within the device. And the energy being projected is directed upwards to the second floor.

It's Silica's efforts which really draw the most attention. A number of the robot arms are frozen solid, motors whining in protest before shorting out. As they are stopped in their tracks, there's a sudden flash of light in front of the structure.

    It's a man. Floating.

The man before the group is extremely nondescript. Short brown hair, somewhat balding. A simple white shirt tucked into black pants. Brown casual shoes. A generic face. Except. His eyes are completely engulfed by deep purple energies, which match the magic shield he had thrown up.

The man doesn't look at anyone or anything in particularly as he opens his mouth to speak. However, no sound comes from his mouth. Instead a voice echoes in people's heads. The words have an artificial tone to them, as if they are not the man's own words, "Warned, you face the ravaged. Aged beyond measure. Surely to meet the same fate. Fated to defend. Defender as it was named once. Once more it is, but forworn."
Silica     Well, that worked better than expected... a little bit too well since the things started rambling incoherantly after deploying an 'avatar', probably a floor foreman or something. She chooses to ignore the rambling, and clicks her tongue, making Nana inhale sharply, while Hibiki lands on the boar's back, shrieking shrilly as it discharges a shower of energy needles. Nana heaves another burst of air, which combines with the needles to make a fussilade of Freeze Spikes that sweep across some more of those arms, lodging into joints while spreading that freezing effect from each impact site.

Touta assures her he has her back, so she lets herself focus on the task, instead of preparing her defenses... don't let her down, Touta.
Penelope Vasquez      Penelope quickly grows frustrated as her wire-slashing efforts are for naught. She steps back to re-evaluate how best to destroy the machine- and then the projection, well, projects. With a forcefield around it. She tosses a chunk of metal at it like a softball to test it's resiliance anyway. But- as Silica has pretty effectively destroyed the Logia's de-facto arms, it's not like it can keep fixing the damages she causes, now can it? Menacing babbling speech aside.

So, as Silica has her pets launch a shower of energy spikes at the arms, making absolutely sure they're as destroyed as can be, Penelope focuses on the main structure; this time, with enthusiasm! She draws a cozy little SMG from somewhere inside her coat, and RATA-TATS directly into the connected towers, a single long stream of armorpiercing lead burrowing into the machinery. She holds the trigger until the weapon clicks- then reloads, and just keeps going, until stopped, or satisfied by the state of the machine. Radios crackle nearby. "This feels real inefficient, but it's very satisfying."
Touta Konoe      Watches as everyone efforts come to fruition Touta's still been pretty...Passive in doing anything. That's fine though, it's a good sign if he doesn't need to do anything. Though upon the arrival of the floating man Touta's prepares his guard...By dropping his blade to the ground. He's already told Silica that he had her back and if there's one thing he tries to do its keep a promise.

Touta begins spinning his hoop a bit faster to the point it looks like it's actually just spiralling around his waist without his hip movements. The ground below his feet slowly begins to crumble. Touta can't really say he's a magician or anything as special as Nanoha or these other magic users, but it looks almost like a magical circle was forming below Touta's feet, though as it fully forms it turns out to look nothing like a traditional magical circle! What appears at his feet is something much easier to recognize even for those less privvy to magic. The symbol of Yin and Yang.

Touta drops into a stance towards the floating man, his left palm extended down and out, while his right extended the opposite direction facing up. Though he still hadn't done anything yet the look on his face made it look like he was just about ready to take anything this floating enigma was going to dish at Silica, or at any of the others for that matter.

"No idea what you're talking about guy, but if you're planning to get to these guys, you'll be having to get through me first!"
Reyes     Reyes withdraws from touching the machine components... not really much the wiser. But he doesn't have long to wait. Sure, some people are responding with 'just rip things up' and there's not a whole lot he can do about that. He's not inclined to tear apart a machine of unknown purpose when other options remain.

So when the strange magical FLOATING GUY appears, he...

Actually, tentatively steps forward. Apparently being addressed via telepathy is not a shock to Reyes. Probably not too surprising, given that he has his own array of psionic abilities.

"Y-yo, floating guy. What is this thing you're building here? Big energy shield generator? Cosmic lighthouse? Gigantic BEAM GUN? What's the story here?"

He's not totally sure it's going to work at all, but he extends a hand and reaches out with his mind, hoping to establish light telemechanic contact with what he ASSUMES is some kind of projection or avatar. Maybe a closer link will give him a better idea of what they're dealing with... and how he can shut it down.

Or, this could go horribly wrong.
Lory Thumper      Lory isn't in a position to see the man, but she can hear the voice. And it clearly isn't a human's voice. Her concern though is the Logia itself. With that energy barrier she isn't sure she can do much. Not to mention attacking it could trigger the very defense response it is preparing for something else. And there's another concern. Is this thing alive in some way?

"Nanoha." the bunny radios. "Do these Lost Logia have consciousness of some kind? Or are they more or less simple machines designed with one directive?"

While she is waiting for that answer, Lory tries prodding the purple field with her police baton then tries pushing it to see if it is movable while it floats there.

If neither of those gets a reaction or movement of some kind, she finally pulls her gauss pistol. Taking careful aim so that a ricochette should go up through the roof rather than down into the factory floor she fires a shot.
S6     The other side of Nanoha's holographic screen projects from S6's Pod. Lit by the Logia's energies, she considers her tactical options while stepping up beside Lory. All that escapes her is a thoughtful 'mm' sort of noise. After a moment, she nods once, "Pod."

-PROPOSAL: DESTROY THE BARRIER USING DIRECT APPLICATION OF FORCE.-

"That's all I needed to hear," S6 comments to her Pod. She lifts her right hand, the larger of her twin swords flipping about into her grip. BRacing it with both hands, she crouches. Lory's gun goes off. In the same instant, S6 hurls herself forward, bringing her magitech blade against the shield with all her strength.
Nanoha Takamachi     It seems that the man, or 'Defender' as he/it called it/himself, is not too keen on letting the damage pile up on the structure he/it is protecting. Touta stands there, announcing to the Defender before him that it will need to get through him first. The Defender apparently disagrees as it vanishes, quickly reappearing between the robotic arms and Silica's pets. Raising a hand, a triangular barrier forms beyond it, causing the frosted needles to splash against it. The Defender then vanishes again.

This time it appears in front of Penelope, producing a similar defense to stop the bullets from hitting the structure.

Lory poses her question to Nanoha. Nanoha responds with an unsure look, which is transmitted back to Lory as a holoscreen appears next to the bunny. Nanoha says, "They are machines. Some more complex than others. Sometimes with an AI. But this one seems fairly singular in its purpose." Whether that means it is conscious or not... Is up for interpretation.

While the Defender actively protects them, the robotic arms still functioning continue to go about constructing the structure. A few more welds, another wire here and there... Suddenly the device lights up. The sound of power charging can be clearly heard now as energy begins to crackle over the emitters. It seems that Reyes's assurance of them getting here 'just in time' may have been a little premature.

Nanoha is getting further concerned as the situation is quickly starting to look dire. She joins in with the others, leveling her staff at the apparently complete structure and firing off her own blast of pink magic. However, the Defender reappears in front of the structure, another shield intercepting the beam.

Reyes attempts to reach out to the Defender with his mind. Doing so he will feel two things. One: Its presence here is clearly being projected, most likely from the Lost Logia itself found by S6 and Lory. And two: The Defender is not a hologram. Nor is it a robot, android, or even cyborg.

But as Reyes asks the Defender what the story is here, it responds to him, "A battle long lost - men lie without taking breath. Fought over honour - flames stretching, engulfing death. The wise one stands there - flags burning with none to see. Mourning loss of hope - the fate of all it will be."

The Defender raises its hand above its head, an orb of purple magic forming above it. It swings the orb down, throwing it against the floor beneath it. The resulting blast of energy rushes outwards from the impact point, threatening all of those on the factory floor.

Lory and S6 attempt to assault the barrier after Lory's attempts to move the device fail. Lory's bullet smashes into the protective barrier, shortly followed by S6's blade. The barrier cracks under the assault. Though doesn't immediately give way.

Suddenly the Defender appears before them vanishing from the factory floor below. It motions with a wave of its hand, unleashing a wave of energy that if it strikes well send the two flying into the far wall of the room.
Lory Thumper      WHUMP! That's the sound of bunny cop hitting the wall when that force wave impacts. Lory bounces off the wall and lands on all fours, then frowns. "Alright, all together then!" As she waits for Pod's countdown she pulls both of her gauss pistols and takes aim. And also tries a bit of negotiation! "Defender! You're broken! If you stand down now maybe we can get you some help! There's nothing here at the moment that demands such a large response from you!"

On the totally slim chance that doesn't work...she fires as soon as the timer goes off and runs in a rapid circle around the Lost Logia. Magnetically propelled bullets that verge on light speed pepper the forcefield from a steadily changing position, and whenever she passes around the side opposite S6 the bunny leaves an explosive to add a bit more punch. Ratatat-BOOM-Ratatat-BOOM-Ratatat-BOOM! Lory is a blur of movement and attacks!
S6     S6 can feel it. The slight give. The progress. Even if it doesn't fully penetrate, she could feel the defense waver if just for a moment. Sweeping a leg back, she plants her foot and raises her weapon into a wrath position, braced with both hands along its over-long hilt.

"One!" S6 shouts at that exact moment, using the shout as a kiai to focus her energy. White lines run up the odachi's blade, and she brings it down in a single overhead strike, tracing a trail of light through the air in that downstroke.
Penelope Vasquez     Penelope grins as her thoughts rattle out to the other members of the team- she slides away her little gun and instead moves a hand to her hip- pushing aside one of the heavy trails of her trenchcoat to show a sheathe hidden there. She steps to position, aiming herself before one of the four massive pillars of the device- but the machine is striking back first! That massive wave of energy slams into the floor, creating a wave of energy Penelope doesn't really have a counter for- there's not much cover on the destroyed factory floor, and she's not in a position to dive around the wave! So- time to show that the heavy coat isn't just for style. Her eyes widen, and the collar around her neck hisses a little pneumatic pop as one of the stimulants within it enters her bloodstream, dulling pain and hightening reaction time. She spins on a heel as she draws her blade- a chunky thing with a hook- before slamming it into the floor tip-first as an anchoring point, her back now to the expanding explosion. It all happens in the space of a second. The magical wave of force washes over the woman.

And as it moves past her, she's still standing- her hair is singed, and the coat smells like melted plastic, but there's only a manic grin on her face as she spins en-pointe to face the machine, lowering into a position not unlike a linebacker preparing to sack someone. Her eyes are dilated near all-black, and she cackles out the countdown along with S6's Pod- exactly in sync. "Fiiiiive, foooooour, threetwoone!" She lunges forwards, bringing her blade to bear in a broad slash, aiming to either embed it directly into the pylon, or bring as much force against the defensive field as she can!
Reyes     THAT IS NOT A HEARTENING RESPONSE. Seems that if there was an opportunity for Reyes to end this peacefully... it might have passed the moment others here started breaking shit and prompted this guy to appear. But even so...

"Mourning loss of hope... the fate of all-- HEY you can't be thinking of some kinda DOOMSDAY WEAPON HERE?!" Though he's rather confused by the outcome of this attempt to communicate... and he's still trying to process just what the weird sensations of dealing with this 'man' are... Reyes picks up on the hostility, but there's really nothing he can do besides pray that his own energy shields hold. The ARMOR OF ITHAN spell is so named in memory of a legendary Dwarven King, and while his strange Techno-Wizardry adaptation of it looks more like a wireframe energy field than the ornate, elaborate platemail it originally resembled... it flares brilliantly around him as the shockwave lambasts him. "GHHHHUAAAAAAAH!!!"

Reyes... isn't exactly the greatest fighter out there. Without a lot of hand to hand skills, without the greatest warrior's instincts....all he has is his gear and confidence and sheer stubbornness. And that means that he's hurled into a wall with a mighty THUMP-WHUNK.

The glowing shield surrounding his armor is sizzling and sparkling in a way that shows it as clearly never overload. Reyes clambers to his feet though, and deploys his clockwork wings. They fill in with a thrum of magical energy that carries him a bit aloft, to avert further shockwaves from catching him...

And just then, a panel on his leg swings open of its own volition, and a weapon concealed within flies out. A silvery... is that a SIX SHOOTER? Yeah. The cylinder's been replaced with a weird assembly covered in glyph-circuitry though. The gun simply flies into Reyes's outstretched hands, and and with a two-handed grip he aims it quite obviously at the Defender!

"You have to STOP! You're going to cause another tragedy like the battle!" He cries out... but he's sure the guardian will not listen.

The magical engravings all along the pistol light up in sequence, running from hilt, across the cylinder, and then down the barrel. Against all logic, the cylinder begins to spin and the barrel splits lengthwise, revealing a completely replaced channel through which DEFINITELY NOT BULLETS flows. The barrel's innards are lined with diamonds, gems that now glow brilliantly as an AMPLIFICATION EFFECT is added to what turns out to be six different colors of magical glow, each from a separate chamber of the spinning cylinder. "Man, this isn't what I had in mind for field-testing this feature... here goes nothing!!"

Well, now anyone who knew what sort of paycheck he got a few months ago knows where it went.

The six blinding spectrum of lights merge as they flow down the barrel, emerging as a corkscrewing blend that's amplified on the way out until what can only be described as an enormous BEAM flies out from the comparatively tiny weapon. Mostly white, but filled with streamers of odd colors. Red light bursts into flames. Purplish sizzles with electric current. A cool blue chills and freezes what it touches...
Touta Konoe      With how fast this entity is it's nearly impossible to try to dismantle this thing without everyone coordinating their attacks, and that's what everyone intends to do from here on out. It seems everyone's in agreement that inorder to even have a chance at hitting this thing they need to simultaneously to create too many vectors of attack for it to defend against.

Touta takes out his sword once again and when the countdown hits 0, he makes for a mad dash towards

"I'll make an opening! Get behind me!!!"

Touta screams to the others his intent, to create a pathway in the midst of the magical wave. As the wave of magical energy surges outwards from the point of impact Touta finally extends out that left hand! The wave makes contact with his palm and the result is...The wave turns into a spiral being sucked into the boy's hand. It seemed that Touta had absorbed the wave! Or at least enough of a portion to create an opening for the others to pass through without getting harmed. With the threat of being overwhelmed by the magical wave averted by his left hand, he focuses on the blade in his right hand against the floating entity making sure his attack is in unison with the others.

His black taichi would likely make contact, possibly blocked or guarded against like the others but thankfully when it comes to shattering magical barriers there's no better sword than his!

     "FIVE-HUNDRED THOUSAND FOLD!!!"

Touta shouts and with it, a distortion occurs with the blade. It's true design reveals itself in situations like these, a sword meant to breakthrough magical barriers with sheer physical strength. It's attack intensifies to an absurd degree. The force it exerts against the barrier changes from but a single katana blade to what feels like the weight of a stockpile of locomotive engines had just decided to slam into this shield! If that shield was able to fend off against a synchronized attack with such overwhelming force behind it, then at this point it deserved to have its way...
Nanoha Takamachi     The blastwave stretches outwards. Threatening to strike Nanoha. But Touta provides an area of safety! The Mage lifts of her feet, quickly flying over to stop behind the boy. While he works on shielding them, Nanoha raises her staff towards the structure, saying, "Thanks Touta!" Preparing to counterattack, Nanoha says, "Please handle the timing, Raising Heart."

The device chimes, <Acknowledged.> CA-CHUNK. The cartridge slide kicks back as the concentrated mana within the round is unleashed. Power kicks up around Nanoha as a spell circle forms beneath, additional spell rings appearing just beyond the staff's head as pink magic gathers. Raising Heart counts down in unison with S6's pod and the others, <Five. Four. Three. Two. One. Fire.>

Up upon the second floor, the Defender freezes in place, looking indecisive. Though Lory probably gets the feeling that it's not because of her words. The Defender suddenly disappears.

It reappears in front of the structure that everyone on the ground floor is attacking. It raises its hand above it, three triangular barriers appearing around it and the structure, placing themselves in the paths of the attacks.

Two of the barriers are struck by the large beams fired by Nanoha and Reyes. The respective barriers are assaulted, struggling before resulting in explosions of light.

The third barrier, placed between the Defender and the two sword wielders, takes its first blow from Touta. The incredibly heavy blade is halted in its tracks, though the Defender clearly struggles against it. The barrier quickly cracks, before shattering entirely. Penelope's own sword sweeps in behind Touta's, with a clear shot towards one of the structure's four emitters.

The Defender appears in the path of the blade. Unable to raise a barrier in time, all it can do in use itself to shield the structure. The blade slices across its chest, cutting through the flimsy shirt and slicing into flesh beneath.

The Defender drops to the ground, backing up a few steps. It doesn't show any signs of experience pain, even as blood begins to drip down onto the floor.

The sound of charging energy reaches a critical point and the emitters come to life. Large streams of purple light blast forth from them, meeting together at the center. There's a large flash of light. Once it clears, a swirling mass of energy can be seen formed where the beams had met.

As the Defender stands there in front of it, it 'speaks' once more in peoples minds, "See that which is within the light, hear the sound of battles raging, and come to fear the closing fight, that looms as their heart is racing, swallowed by fire that keeps chasing, running for all time from their fate, from which no means of escaping, the strength that lies beyond this gate."
Nanoha Takamachi     The construction has activated. But not all of it was in vain. The concentrated attack below has given Lory and S6 the opportunity they need above.

Lory circles the Lost Logia, her rounds impacting the defensive barrier multiple times. Combined with the explosives she places, the barrier quickly cracks further, showing its weakened state. And there's no sign of Defender moving to stop the rabbit, occupied as it is.

S6 finally comes in with her overhead strike, the blade striking the top of the barrier. Light begins to flare from the cracks, until the barrier shatters!

The Lost Logia is now accessible. And still no Defender! Not yet, anyway.
S6     The barrier is broken. S6 recoils from the shattering energies, releasing her sword which flips around to float behind her once more. The radio conversation is brief and, per her usual modus, rather curt but decisive. With gloved hands, she reaches out grasping the split halves of the Logia device. Bracing herself for any potential backlash the artifact may have at being manhandled, the android puts her strength and effort into pushing the two halves back together.

    -THIS ACTION IS NOT RECOMMENDED.-

The POD's objection is halfhearted, at best. And S6 has no intention of heeding it anyway.
Penelope Vasquez     Penelope cackles like a maniac as she lunges forwards in sync with the others, slamming her blade down towards the pylon-

And into the chest of it's guardan. She spits a curse- not out of regret for harming the man, but because her attack was off-target. She's still vibrating where she stands, giving far less thought to action than she probably should, thanks to the stimulants in her bloodstream; she needs to move, to attack, to ACT, and Nanoha has given the briefest indication that distracting the guardian would be helpful.

So she does. By slashing into it, again and again- likely only deflected by shields, but it's a way to burn off her energy and keep the thing pinned down while the rest of the team acts. Blade slashes down again and again and again, deflection flowing into redirection and attack, whittling against the controlled Defender.
Reyes     The shit has hit the fan... at lightspeed. Reyes lowers his weapon, breathing heavily. It's not that it was physically tiring, but he pumped a tremendous amount of energy into that thing. Most of wh at he had, really - it's not exactly refined as well as it could be just yet.... and so he shifts to a one-handed grip, holding his helmeted head in the other for two seconds of woozy regathering of spirit. Then he SWOOPS down to the machine again - now far less protected, but DOING WHATEVER it's supposed to do!

And now that it's complete, Reyes attempts to carry out his order as best he can. He reaches out with his mind to link with the machine and read its designs, hear its purpose and get its current status - which should tell him all he needs to know about this portal that's opening up...

UNFORTUNATELY as the machine is clearly under the control of another supernatural entity and charged with weird energies, he's probably not going to be able to effortlessly subvert it and just tell it to 'switch itself off.' But if it is so unguarded, he will attempt to force it into a 'power down/standby' state.
Lory Thumper      They did it! ...what was step two? Lory lets out a whoop as the barrier shatters, but then wonders what to do next. She can't subdue a magical device that has gone haywire! And then S6 just -grabs- it and starts pushing it together! "What are you doing, S6?! Don't touch it!" Lory exclaims. But, seems like they don't have a lot of options here. Nanoha's sealing magic is a floor away.

Not knowing what else to do, Lory just falls back on what she would usually do to a suspect that isn't giving up but doesn't require lethal force.

Stun the fluff out of it. With a flick of a switch on each pistol, the gauss pistols spit out prongs that are obviously those of a stun gun. There is the telltale sound of a capacitor building a charge before she fires the prongs into the Lost Logia. "Hope this works! And sorry if this gets you, S6!"

Lory starts pulling the triggers on her now stun pistols. There is a loud shock sound each time one unleashes its charge, followed by that capacitor charging sound again before more electrical buzzing! Her pistols are made to do this all day, and she will just keep unleashing those stun charges until...well...until someone says stop!
Touta Konoe      Touta's given his instructions. To absorb the magic of the portal. Something that Reyes describes as a 'TON of energy', thankfully he has something that trumps a 'ton'. Having landed from creating the opening in the Defender's barrier, Touta's told to head ot the emitters where the magic of the portal was discharging from. He can already see the purple streams of light meeting together forming that large mass of energy. Once again he leaves his blade behind as goes into the center of where the 4 constructs verged and the accumulation of energy was forming, and like before the symbol of Yin and Yang appeared below his feet as he extended his left hand up towards the giant mass of energy. Like before with the wave attack done by the Defender before, Touta starts siphoning off the energy from the portal as it enters into his body through his right hand.

His face cringes but he's sure that he can handle this. This portal may have ton of energy but Touta's magic, this absorption magic could handle it. How did he know this? Because this very magic he was using to absorb that portal was the same magic that was the source of his immortality. An infinite supply of magic was constantly circulating in Touta, so when you compare that to this portal Touta was sure that he could manage! There's only one thing he needs to worry about while using his Revolution style to absorb the magical energy of the portal and its spinning around his waist....
Nanoha Takamachi     As S6 places her hands on the Lost Logia, she can feel the destructive power held within it. The same power begins to flow into the android, threatening to do some serious damage if she holds on for too long. But her efforts begin to cause the Lost Logia's functions to falter.

Penelope begins to unleash her blade at the Defender. It appears to be weakened as it finds difficulty in putting up an effective defense. The barriers it generates are quickly smashed by Penny's blade. More cuts beginning to form on its arms and body. Not yet life threatening, though if Penny goes at it for much longer...

Reyes once more links with the structure. Now that it's complete and actually functioning, Reyes is able to get a better sense of it. He can confirm it is a portal. Along with that he is able to divine a set of coordinates. It's far, far, far away. A sector of the Multiverse well beyond that which those here have had reason to travel to. And finally, he is able to glimpse a brief still of what's on the other side...

Lory's pistols discharge their electricity into the Lost Logia. What had been a constant, almost musical hum of energy now becomes much more chaotic. Electricity arcs across the surface of the device, adding a small fraction to the energy currently flowing into S6. But it's a good sign that the Lost Logia isn't taking it well... Right?

Touta begins to absorb the energy of the portal. It begins to flicker in response, looking like it's having trouble stabilizing. It's true that it's unlikely to match the power of that which Touta has absorbed in the past. Though Reyes was also right. There is a TON of it!

Nanoha uses the opportunity she's been given by the others to finish this. She drops down to plant her feet on the ground once again, looking at her device, "Come on, Raising Heart. We can't let them down."

The Device chimes, <Right! Sealing Mode.> Four wings of light flare out from the head of the staff as Nanoha points it upwards towards the ceiling of the large factory floor. CA-CHUNK. CA-CHUNK. Another pair of mana cartridges are absorbed as magic gathers beyond the tip.

Finally, Nanoha radios, "S6, Lory! Get back!" A moments pause and, "Sealing!"

The large beam is fired, streaking upwards towards the ceiling. It easily blasts through it, creating a hole in the floor of the office the two have been occupying. The desk is vaporized in half as the beam engulfs the Lost Logia floating above it. The sealing magics go to work on the weakened Lost Logia, the device visibly shaking as it tries to fight it off.

Finally, the two halves of the artifact give in, snapping together.

The sealing beam fades, leaving behind the inactive Lost Logia. It drops down to the floor between S6 and Lory, silent.

On the factory floor, the Defender stands there, no longer able to fight. The glow in its eyes begins to fade. As it does so, its voice echoes in people's heads for one last time, "Rising skyward the golden city gleams, guided by no hand unseen, the worlds tremor beneath." The glow fades completely. The man left behind collapses towards Penelope, unconscious.

The power stops flowing into the portal. Combined with Touta's draining, the portal looses stability completely and shuts off. The structure shutting down.
Penelope Vasquez     Swing. Swing. Swing. Swing. Penelope looks more like a machine than a woman- grinding herself against a brick wall over and over again, slowly gaining ground on the weakened Defender. Shields crackle, blade pokes through enough to draw shallow blood before reflected away. She bears down and down, again and again; dull to the outside world, focused entirely on her task. A one-track mind put to deadly purpose. She barely registers the voice in her head from the man as he fades.

It's with a sharp gasp as the man falls forwards, and she barely diverts her swing from his shoulder, now unprotected by shielding- her blade rings loudly off of the pillar behind him, and sticks there. She pants for breath, looking up at the others as everything comes to a close. "...oh. We, uh. We win, then?"

A glance at the powered down device. She pulls herself upright, coughing into a fist awkwardly, avoiding eye contact with the cut-covered man as she slides her blade away. "...looks like we won. Go team."
Lory Thumper      As soon as she hears Nanoha's warning, Lory retracts the electrodes from the Lost Logia and leaps for the door, diverolling her way away before pulling her shield to try and protect herself from any incoming debris. She doesn't move again, just watching in wide-eyed awe and uncertainty.

When the Lost Logia actually -does- snap together and go inactive, Lory blinks in surprise.

"...wait...it really did need to be pushed together? I figured...you know...magical thing, it is supposed to be in half like that." she says over the comm before moving toward the Lost Logia again. "Is it safe to touch now?" she asks, then looks at S6. "And are you alright?"
Reyes     Reyes does his best to investigate! And... he snags coordinates. Visuals. Saves all of it to his personal computer systems in the suit and commits it to memory using the kind of focus only a psychic can handle. But as soon as the whole ride comes to a stop...

He topples over onto his butt, holding his head. "Augh...."

Interfacing with alien techno-wizardry is REALLY TOUGH, and this has not been a great day for him. It's hard to tell though, since he's in that armor, which obscures his face entirely. How much hurt is he in...? Only the grunts are any real indication.

But he's seen plenty of what just happened. More than plenty. ANd the fact that the man still exists without the Lost Logia being active is... confusing to him, to say the least. "Wait... is that guy flesh and blood after all...?"

If so, he'll need medical care. Reyes clambers back up to his feet and announces, "I saw some really weird stuff. Gotta get these files uploaded... golden city, big majestic spires and airships... think these coordinates are completely off the charts I've got, though."
S6     Destructive energies erupt from the ancient device as it attempts to defend itself. Striker 6 grits her teeth. Pain fills her senses, red indicators fill her vision as various systems surge. Something overloads, blowing a small hole in her upper back. The gloves on her hands sear. It's only when she hears that distant voice that the android suddenly releases the device, collapsing backwards as a laser pierces the object until it relents and shuts down.

The android rests where she collapsed, smoldering. After a long moment, she shifts, lifting one hand to examine the destroyed glove, damaged sleeve, and burned-through synthetic covering. She flexes blackened metal fingers, joints making clicking noises until the self-repair manages to shunt out the spurrs in the joints caused by her reckless act.

Synthetic covering starts sliding back down her arm as the android sits up at last, "...Operating at an estimated seventy percent capacity. It'll do."

-MYSTIC GYRO DAMAGE SEVERE. VRCS OFFLINE.-

    "Mmm..."
Nanoha Takamachi     Psssshhhhhhhh.

Nanoha's staff releases the cloud of cooling gases. The wings of light disappear with a flash of feathers. Nanoha relaxes as she takes a deep breath, before smiling at those who are here, "Thank you all for the help. I expect this would have been rather troubling on my own."

Nanoha does blink a little at Reyes's description of what he saw, "I wonder if they are fragmented memories of things it's seen in the past."
