Eryl Fairfax     Eglise de Foi Merveilleuse consists of a scattering of weathered building set into a snowy mountain. The structures are rarely alike, all coming from different cultures and time periods, and they're all very Spartan, clearly designed to be sturdy without breaking the bank. However, there is the occasional flourish. A stained glass window, a statue or engraving. All of the religious variety.

That is because this is a community of believers. It did not matter what you believed in, as long as you believed it fervently enough to withdraw from the world to this little place so you may worship and meditate in peace. Here, Christians rubbed shoulders with Buddhists who broke bread with Zoroastrians who shared bedrooms with the Worshippers of the Great Glitch.

Because a commonality among religions is charity, the place has also become a habitat for the less fortunate. Those looking for an easy ride tend to wash out due to the amount of tough love and rough living required to be here, but those with truly nowhere to go, or a real willingness to get clean or deal with their problems often leave here better. However, certain other religious tenants, such as pacifism, make it an easy target for the cruel.

And indeed, that is happening right now. A crew of bike-riding thugs, supposedly former members of a recently dissolved gang, have decided to rough the place up, either to set up a new base, or just vent their frustrations. Perhaps on any other day, they might have gotten to rough up some nuns and monks, take whatever meagre donations they had and set up shops until the Paladins or some other do-gooder came along to give them the boot.

But on this day, the do-gooder was on-site.

Lancer of the Paradox War, looking far worse for wear, faces down a crew of bikers with her wand out. Her face is pale, but her spells still have enough oomph to put down a fat man rushing her with a chain. But then her legs almost give out, and her form goes translucent for a second. Up above, flying upon his staff, Ruler watches on with a conflicted expression on his face.
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo's around, the sense of a familiar Lancer, though weak, is still there. "Mmm, Poor girl has had it rough." she mutters to herself, "Maybe I can make it right, abandoned by two she figured would help." there's a brief little sigh and a look up... there's that Ruler.

"Glad my Husband isn't here right now, it could go arwy." a few talismans grace her fingers from her sleeves as she makes her way towards the buildings, "Caster is here." she calls out, loudly, "Lancer, I'm here to help." there's a few fire-laced talismans igniting in her hands. "Gentlemen, I'm afraid there's no sermon for you right now. However, if you wish, I may be able to whip up one... firey, passionate sermon for you."

The three talismans launch from the fox's fingers, straight towards one of the thugs as the Caster-class reloads, "I'm here for one reason... one reason only, get in my way or I'll make sure whatever God you believe in will have no mercy on your souls!"
Touta Konoe     A saviour appears within a city of faith. Or it'd be better to say Lancer. Touta had come following every lead he could get. This mainly had come from asking nearly every food joint he had seen Nagi at, and question all the places on if they had heard from the guy in a while and for the most part they hadn't heard a thing. Like a ghost he had almost vanished...So when someone mentions seeing a guy flying around on a stick in Eglise, Touta takes the chance and investigates.

"If feels like I'm back at that one church in the slums..."

"It seems it doesn't matter in any world, the power of faith will be a beacon for those who fall on ill times...Touta, over there!"

The words of his blade grab his attention as he sees the fighting in the distance. The familiar faces of Servants he had come to recognize by now, though he had yet to see Ruler so high up. It wasn't that he wasn't looking hard enough, it's just...His attention was being grabbed elsewhere.

     "Crap! Hey!!!"

He shouts in the direction of the Fox Servant and the fading lance familiar running over in a panic. It seemed like Tamamo was dealing with the thugs so he was trying to look after the Servant's who existence seemed to be hanging on by a thread.

"Oi, you're Mits- ...Seifer's Servant right? You okay? What the hell happened to you?!"
Tanya Degurechaff     Not exactly Tanya's idea of a good time after falling down a space elevator last night, but things connected to the Paradox war are things she cannot ignore. The minor Major sports a fresh coverall and a new flight unit assembly, and new bandages under it all to keep various cracked ribs and cuts from hurting...too much. She's rather thankful that flight is a low-impact exercise.

She circles once over the mismatched community, taking in the positions of various parties. The gang, the civilians, the three Servants on-site. After a few passes, she banks into a descent and only levels off near Ruler where she comes to a stop. Concealing the ache in her joints, the girl folds her arms while staring down at the altercation unfolding.

"Well?" Her eyes shift, fixing a sidelong glance on the Ruler, "You strictly forbade your Servants from getting involved in Multiversal matters, didn't you?" A hand unfolds and she gestures, "What is your punishment for this transgression? Following rules is the easiest thing in the universe, and this Servant has broken one you set at the very start."

Eyes returning to what's going on below, Tanya unslings her rifle, racking the bolt back to chamber a round, "If you'd rather not, I can take care of it. But if I'm doing your job, than I'll be expecting recompse for my services."
Eryl Fairfax     FWOOSH! A leather jacket goes up in flames, one of the bikers flailing in panic before rushing towards a pile of snow swept into the corner of the courtyard, diving in to extinguish the flames. The other two turn to look up at Caster, outrage plain on their face. Lancer meanwhile, looks more apprehensive. "I'm not going back!" she calls to Caster, her voice horse like her vocal chords aren't entirely present. One of the non-burned bikers draws a machine pistol and fires a burst at Caster, while the other produces a hatchet and hurls it at the fox woman!

Touta meanwhile, charges in to check on Lancer. Up close, he can partially see the ground and wall on the other side of her through her. Her whole form is slightly translucent at all times, with occasional patches going more transparent like fits of coughing. "/Master/ burned all his Command Seals to try and get me to kill Ruler, but I failed. So now I'm just... waiting for my mana to run out." A biker rushes at the two with a spiked baseball bat, aiming a swing at Touta's head!

Ruler already looks conflicted, but that expression deepens as Tanya calls him out. "Kid, she's barely a Servant in the War anymore. No Master, no Command Seals, not even a source of mana. I'd be amazed if she even finishes this fight." It's an excuse plainly. That becomes even more apparent when he barks, "Stop!" at Tanya as she racks in a round. "Don't... waste your bullet kid. She's done." Speaking of bullets, two are fired at the hovering pair by bikers brandishing hunting rifles. Even in his conflicted state, Ruler still snatches the one aimed at him out of the air.
Solty Revant      Although she is late to the party, a growing linear cloud of snow signals the arival of Solty Revant running rapidly along the ground. She had been running at normal speeds, but when her sharp ears picked up on what was happening she rushed here as fast as she could. When she skids to a stop near the skirmish she shouts out, "S-so what if she has no master! That doesn't mean we should just give up on her! She's still a person!" she exclaims with all the earnest innocent fire of a heart untainted by the world.

She leaps in to land by Lancer, then blinks as she notices Tamamo and Touta. "Oh! Hello Touta! Hello Miss Caster!" she says, then turns to face the bikers, putting herself between the Lancer and them as best she can. "Is there any way to save her? Whatever it is, I'm sure we can do it!"
Tanya Degurechaff     "Barely alive," Tanya states, "Is still alive." She actually lifts her rifle's muzzle skyward when shouted at, turning glowing blue eyes towards Ruler once more, "Could it be you actually care, then?" Eyes return to the fight. Ruler catches the shot aimed at him. The rifle round directed at Tanya slams into an invisible barrier, rippling with blue light around her from the impact. There's the faintest of winces from the effort while still injured, but she does her best to cover it up.

Instead, she keeps her rifle raised. Her free hand reaches behind her back, then returns with a plunger grenade. She loops her finger through the ring and swings the weapon down, using the string to sling it at the thugs while pulling the pin free in the same motion.

"Rude," she comments at the men, before returning to her conversation with the Ruler, "I figured out who Avenger's master is, and you're not going to like it." Eyes closing, she shrugs lightly, "I suspected it all along but honestly was hoping I was wrong... That's why I refused to divulge it last time we discussed him." Eyes opening, she leans forward slightly, "Avenger's master calls itself God. I call it Being X." Using her rifle, she gestures to Lancer, "His mana supply is enormous. Fighting him by yourself is probably going to be as one-sided as her attacking you right now."

"We're probably going to need to work together to kill him."
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo frowns, "What my Husband did was unforgivable. I didn't want him to do that!" she replies, attempting to rush herself in, but bullets strike at her and the hatchet cuts some of the fur off the woman's ear. Trodging forth, Tamamo's stomping the ground on her way, "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" she shouts towards the attackers, ... then suddenly there's a Solty.

Tamamo looks a bit conflicted, then nods, launching a few more talismans at the gun and former hatchet-wielding thugs. "I said GET OUT OF MY WAY!" then there's a shout towards the Lancer, "You did not fail, it was an ill concieved plan by my Husband and I'm here to right that wrong!" she stubbornly charges forward, her own lance now replacing the Mirror.

"Lancer. Allow me to fix the mistake. Please." there's a look on Tamamo's face, it's pleading, "I know what it's like losing people... losing my Emperor and two of my Masters, I know how hard this is... you don't need to do this to yourself..." once she's close enough, she's going to stab that beach parasol into one of the thugs..
Touta Konoe     "He...He what?" There's a sound of shock and disdain in his voice. The bat comes flying at the back of his head, and yet without even turning around the blade goes to intercept the spiked bat with ease. Touta doesn't even retaliate. The young boy just turns around. Anyone who knew this easy going kid well enough knew that this wasn't the face that this kid ever made. Eyes that look like that of a monster stare into the eyes of the biker. Touta opens his mouth as fangs bare themselves at him, and dark miasma begins to slowly accrue upon this boy's hands. "Get...Lost..." The words slither out of the boy's mouth with such weight it feels like he was trying to spit out Kurobo at the guy. One of the only people here who would have a semblance to that nasty sensation Touta was giving off would probably be that of a certain Fox Servant, and that of the Ruler above. Once the thug had fleed from what was likely becoming the most unholy thing in this town...Touta's anger turns towards someone else.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!!!" It's directed at Tamamo, in fact it's focused solely at Tamamo. He's not even able to divert his attention to Solty or the others, it was apparent this was something he was clearly worked up about. The same dark feelings, that nasty miasma that was used so long ago to aid the fox was now being directed at her like an animal baring its fangs.

"Caster..." He didn't even use Hime-chan, not even her actual name... "You should know more than anyone what it meant for Seifer to do what he did. Using all those command seals..." It was the equivalent of seeing the Servant as a tool, or in this case an overpowered bullet. A once use disposable weapon. "...I even told them to hold off. That I wanted to talk to Nagi about what was going on with this war. But Seifer...Priscilla...Guess Stella wasn't lying then.

He looks at Lancer for a moment turning his attention away from the Fox, his demanor settling if only a little. "Ya know...I've met a lot of Servants since being in the Multiverse...And maybe it's wrong of me to think of you guys like this but I don't really view you guys as just familiars. You guys seem like so much more...I've even made a few Servant friends here."

His face looks back to the fox with a look of discontent, "And that's why what Seifer did makes this worse...Did he do it cause he views Servants as just disposable? No...You're a Servant too, so that can't be it right? So...Is it because it wasn't you that she got used like that... Would he treat his 'subjects' that way?"

He doesn't give her the chance to answer before turning back to fading phantom. "Lancer...I don't think you deserve to go out like this. Joining a war only to become a Servant to someone who never planned to win...That's rough. I'm not like Mitsu though...I can't be your master. But, I might be able to help you...If you still want a chance at this thing." The boy stays silent waiting for the response of the fading warrior.
Eryl Fairfax     Solty rushes in, causing the bikers to curse. "Another one?!" a biker curses, before producing a walkie-talkie and barking orders into it. "Bring in the Velocis!" The sound of a machine gun fills the air as one is brought in, mounted on the back of a flatbed truck, with more coming up behind, a convoy of death. The first one turns its aim on Solty and opens fire, spraying rounds!

Ruler stares at Tanya like he really wants to punch her. "She's putting her existence on the line to protect these people who took her in. Anyone would find that admirable." The plunger grenade hits the ground and bursts, sending one of the bikers falling down the mountain with the force of the explosion. The other only gets some shrapnel in some important places. "Being X?" Ruler asks, rubbing his chin and thinking to himself. "That would explain some things... but, Avenger hasn't really broken any rules. Yeah he probably kept Paris up, but making people lose sleep isn't that big a deal. Besides, he's a valid entrant in the Grail War. If he wins, he wins." He looks to Tanya and sighs. "Look, I know what his wish will be, I'm sympathetic to you. But if you want me to deal with him, you need more than 'his Master is dangerous.' This War is full of dangerous Masters."

Tamamo ignites more bikers, and rushes across the bullet-spattered ground to speak to Lancer, to speak her wish to make things right. Lancer though, only has a hollow laugh to offer. "Do you actually care? Or are you trying to make things right to convince yourself he wouldn't do the same to you?" It's a bold thing to say, she never said anything like that before. But impending non-existence does help to loosen lips.

Touta meanwhile, is mad, mad enough to intimidate a 1% biker into backing off. The darkness wafting off him has even Ruler concerned. "Hey, grandkid! Settle down!" he shouts. Lancer looks to him, listening to his words. "It's selfish... I shouldn't have come here. This mountain has an unusual amount of mana in the air. It's prolonged me... I just didn't want to go yet. I've accomplished so little, even less than what I did in life." She sniffles, and looks to Touta. "I don't care about winning. I just want to have accomplished something this time around."

Machine gun fire fills the air, as the bikers deeper into the town flood into the courtyard to deal with the interlopers. It's about to get messy, and Lancer might not last.
Tanya Degurechaff     "Except he has broken the rules," Tanya lifts a finger, "He's been meddling in Multiversal affairs pretty much since he appeared. Or did you forget he blew through Paris trying to kill me, a person who has no connection to your War? You said yourself he broke the rules back then. Does that suddenly not apply anymore?"

The girl shifts when machinegun fire breaks out on the far side of the courtyard. Her rifle is brought up and discharged, loosing an artillery spell into the gangsters responsible for it.

"You're supposed to be impartial. If you can't even follow your own rules, what's the point of having them?" The bolt is racked again, ejecting a spent cartridge, "Take some responsibility and do your job. Or step down and let someone take over who will." The rifle is raised again, shouldered, "It's as simple as that." Tanya fires another round into the mob rushing the courtyard, another high explosive artillery spell.
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo comes to a halt.

Touta lashing out at /her/ of all people, when there were thugs around to deal with. Tamamo digs the lance into the ground... then addresses Lancer directly. "I had no intentions of allowing him to do that, I knew not of what he wanted to do." she frowns, "We may be Master and Servant but he has his own goals and I help him with it... though, this was not mentioned to me." she states, then she turns towards Touta, "Listen to Ruler for once..."

Tamamo takes a breath, "Servants are tools for a war, much like your sword, Tanya's gun. Except we have emotions, we have wants and needs. I'm upset at Seifer for this, I've been upset at Seifer for this. There's not a day that goes by that I wonder if what he did was the best course of action. Personally, no, it wasn't. It was nothing I'd have done if I was Lancer's... no any other Servant's Master.

She turns back to Lancer, "I want to help, I know not what your wish is or your last Master's before mine... but... I want to right the wrongs that were done to you." there's a pause, "My words may sound empty, and I'm sorry, but let me prove it in my actions, let me provide for you, personally. I will not, as a Caster-class myself, as someone who's lost those dear to me for unforgivable reasons. I promise you, I even stake it on my divinity and the Moon Cell itself... that I will never... /ever/ put you in that position. I want to give you that second chance with someone you care about, to see your wish come true. To let you accomplish what you want."

Tamamo looks towards the Ruler, "I don't make promises I dare not break." she turns back towards the Lancer then to Touta. "I know you're mad at my Husband... I am too."
Touta Konoe      Tamamo tries to defend her actions. Maybe Touta was being more cruel than necessary but...He also feeling pained in so many different ways as well. Perhaps that's why his words sound so bitter in their conversation when at this point the Fox was just trying to help. And before he realizes it, Lancer's also spitting fire as well. He didn't intend for this to become a roast session but given Lancer's recent events...Could anyone blame her? This heroic spirit had been used like a tool, and likely their pride besmirched all so one person could get back at someone else they thought was annoying. For Lancer who knew the exact reasoning it must have been all the worse for wear. But now that was irrelevant.

Lancer's spirit origin continues to get weaker and weaker...There's only one thing that Touta can think to do as she speaks what could very well be their last. His attention only turns for a brief moment because it's his voice. Ruler's voice.

Touta looks towards the sky with a bit of a blank expression at first but slowly a somber smile would arise, the black miasma would subside and he'd shout to his old man, He pulls out a scroll and flicks it into the ground. A large magical circle appears below Lancer and Touta.

"I probably won't be as good a Magister as you or gramps, but if Lancer just needs a way to get mana a pactio's the only way I could think of."

His attention turns towards Casko who even tries to encourage him to listen to Nagi. She always was concerned when it came to this magic of his. He still remembered how freaked she was when he gave her his heart. "Naw, you guys are more than just weapons. Hakuno saw that...Nozomi saw that...And even Seifer doesn't see you as one. Hell, you must think of Lancer of more than a weapon if you're willing to go so far for'em right? Well...That's good to know at least. That's the Hime-chan I know and love. So...If that's how you truly feel, then I'll extend your promise, and let Lancer fight on with her own strength. Without having to worry about command seals or any of that.

There's no time to here a response from his great-gramps or Tamamo whether in high regard or not. His attention only turns back to Lancer. The sounds of gunfire can be heard getting closer.

"If you're serious...Than I'll give you that second chance. I don't care if you decide to go back into the Grail War, I can't say I'd be happy if you decide to get back at Seifer...But I couldn't blame you if you did...If you're really trying to accomplish something though...When you get back on your feet, could I ask this heroic spirit for some help?"

The young man gives his usual smile only to Lancer, it isn't because this is the last one Lancer would see...But because this was going to be a new beginning. Without another word, Touta leans towards Lancer.

Within this town brought together by the cumulation of many faiths, a bright light surges into the sky from the magic circle enveloping the two.
Solty Revant      Solty doesn't know a lot of what's going on here, but she listens intently to everything that Tamamo and Touta say. She hears Tanya too, but what she's talking about doesn't even seem related to this Lancer here.

Solty shakes her head at what Tamamo says about Servants being tools and nods in agreement when Touta talks about how they are obviously not just tools. "Mr. Touta is right! You are obviously a person, and so is Miss Lancer!" she says as she moves to try and physically block any bullets or blows that come for Touta and Lancer. Unfortunately even with her speed she can only cover so many people, otherwise Solty would try to shield Tamamo, too.

Even as she does this she smiles confidently to Lancer. "Mr. Touta is really nice, so don't be worried about what might happen. He'll make sure you get taken care of properly!" she says, her complete cofidence in Touta somewhat contagious. "Just put your trust in him!"

She looks to Tamamo after that. "And you shouldn't worry either, Miss Caster! You know Touta even better than I do!" she says. Then she tilts her head and her ears twitch. "...what's a Velocis?"
Eryl Fairfax     Ruler is fuming as Tanya calls him out. "You got involved through your boss, it's..." He crosses his arms and exhales when Tanya asks him what the point is of having rules. "You know what? You're right. Even though I don't like you, or your boss, or her whole group, you're right. Next time I lay eyes on Avenger, I gotta deal with him. Happy now?" The shell explodes, and takes several bikers with it, stemming the flow. "This sucks," Ruler says, at nothing in particular, and fires a cluster of magical missiles into the crowd also.

Down below, pledges are being made. Touta lays down the magical circle, while Tamamo makes as many promises as she can. Lancer is all but gone at this point, and she has to make a decision. She looks to Tamamo and says, "I can't trust you... at all." before looking at Touta leaning in. She seems surprised, but gets the picture and returns the gesture. A bright flash of light illuminates the courtyard, surprising the bikers and bringing the fighting to a standstill. "DAMN IT! I told you time and again not to get involved, idiot! Now look what you've done!" Ruler shouts as the light fades. Lancer pushes herself back to her feet, fully opaque once more, mana flowing from Touta into her.

"I am Lancer... no, I am Rynith! Leave this place of peace at once!" she barks, before unleashing a torrent of lightning at one of the gun-mounted trucks. The bikers mount their final assault in the face of a revived, no longer distracted opposition. Now they're even producing RPGs from somewhere and firing them into the crowd. "Let us take them Master Touta!"
Tamamo no Mae     "All my words, in one ear, out the other." Tamamo's eyes look cross, both at Touta, at the Lancer and in general. "I was true in my promises, but if you are blind to reason, to thought, to cling to someone less capable as a Master..." there's a pause, "Then that's fine. You're your own person. However..." there's a pause, Tamamo doesn't bother to protect the place from the RPG's now, moving to walk away. "I hope you can deal with being a Master, Touta."

"Hope you can deal with everyone coming after you now, I won't offer you help, especially after your assault on me." there's a look up into the sky, "Ruler, have fun."

There's a rice paper door that opens and Tamamo walks through it, "I need some sake after this farce."
Touta Konoe     The light fades and Touta ends up with a single card in his hand with Rynith's figure imprinted upon it. The Pactio had completed and a separate contract from one formed by Master and Servants had been formed during this Holy Grail War. Something that was probably a much different from what the Multiverse had grown accustomed to. While serving similar in function to that of the contract of the Holy Grail War...

As Lancer calls his name, Touta raises his arm into the sky for both Rynith, and all the others to see. "You see any command seals here?! There's no Master Touta Konoe in this Grail War. Just a Lancer Servant who found a way to get some extra mana."

That's the way he perceived it anyway. Touta still wasn't a Master to this Holy Grail War. The system of magic he was using to supply mana was of a completely different system. Something not recognized by the Grail.

He watches surprised to see Tamamo leave so suddenly. It was...Surprising even for him. Her giving her own warning to the both of them. "I'd say I'm still a neutral party in this but I guess that'll be hard to explain to the Concord when all's said and done...Guess we'll figure it out later. But for now, Lancer...From now on, this isn't a Master-Servant contract. There's no command seals for me to force you to do anything. Even if you ended up winning the Grail War I wouldn't be able to take it from you. ...So if that's the case, I don't know what your old Masters would have you handle this, but we're not giving any casualties, got it Partner?"

His head turns back to Nagi, he's probably still steamed about this, but he can talk to the judge about how they rule all this nonsense once. He can only give an awkward smile to Nagi before putting more mana into the Pactio card to transfer to Lancer. Both of them would need to be in top shape to keep those RPGs from launching into the crowds.

"Let's do this! Grasp the Earth!!!"

And with all that said and done Touta takes his first steps into the battleground with his flashmovements, trying to knock out as many of these bikers with the heavy weaponry as he can before they're able to fire.
Tanya Degurechaff     As Ruler works through his logic, Tanya's face remains neutral. It's only when he reaches his conclusion that her expression changes: Smug. She knows she was right, the payoff was Ruler realizing it too. The spent cartridge is ejected, her weapon reloaded while her gaze wanders down, "Seems the boy solved one of your problems for you."

Eyes closing, she slings her rifle again. Tamamo's exit is noted, and the Major simply states, "Two servants, that girl, and that swordsman are more than enough for this rabble. I'm still rather injured from falling all the way from space, so now that Lancer's fighting fit, I'm going to leave this to you four."

The flight unit's lights brighten and she ascends, "I'd rather not aggravate my injuries getting shot at with anti-tank weapons today! Unlike you, I'm only human, after all! Consider it a warmup, Lancer!"
Solty Revant      Solty is also pretty surprised, and actually takes a few steps as if to stop or follow Tamamo. But, she doesn't seem like she's in a good mood at all right now, and so Solty just lets out a quiet, "...Miss Caster..?" as Tamamo leaves. Her ears also twitch at what Ruler says to Touta. She joins Touta and Lancer in taking out the bikers, but she is definitely confused. "He saved her! What's wrong with that?" she calls out to Ruler. "And it sounds like she doesn't even have to fight unless she wants to, so that's good right?" If there's any bad in what just happened, she is completely unaware of it.

She runs quickly enough to catch bikers and knocks them off their mounts and destroying the bikes if she can rather than actually hurting them.
Eryl Fairfax     "Hm. 'Touta' then. Very well!" Boy she settled right into that immediately, didn't she? She also immediately taps into her restored mana reserves, and invokes her Noble Phantasm. "Blueprints of Bardiche!" she declares, causing a weapon to appear in her hands. It's some kind of laser spear, but with like, a 'blueprint' skin to it. Even if it seems like only the schematics for a weapon, it cuts like the real thing when she rushes in and starts cleaving up the trucks.

Touta meanwhile, takes down the bikers weilding RPGs, and Solty dismantles those running ramshod through the city on their bikes. Between the three of them, this motley pack of degenerates is no trouble at all. Ruler meanwhile, watches it all with a look of total exasperation. "Grr... no way he got that from me. Negi was way more of a troublemaker..." he mutters. He barely acknowledges Tanya's decision to depart, merely waving her off as the final biker is dealt with. "I guess I should go t-"

    Someone is standing beside Touta.

It's not clear where they came from. They were suddenly just /there./ It's a figure in a black hooded robe with purple trim, and an emblem on their chest resembling a bisected sun and moon. Their face is obscured by the shadows of their hood, totally impenetrable even on this sunny day. They speak no words, only peer down at the young man, before offering but a single nod, and vanishing as quickly as they appeared.

Ruler offered a choked gasp of recognition, before his face settles into a furious expression. "Hey, kid!" he shouts up at Tanya, before hurling something to her. It's a USB drive, something that seems totally out of place for him to have. "Show that to your boss!"

Upon perusing it later, it would be found that the USB contains the very information the Concord secured for Ruler. Information on past Grail Wars. But an extra file has been added and marked 'READ THIS.' It contains a subset of information on a separate Grail War. One that supposedly happened in the Multiverse. One that had Ruler as a Rider.

One that, as far as anyone knows, never happened.
Tanya Degurechaff     In response to the call, Tanya glances back down at the fight. She scarcely responds quickly enough to catch the object hurled at her, then lowers it to examine it. Any person from her temporal era wouldn't know what the hell this is-- but Tanya recognizes it right away.

The device is tucked into the front pocket of her coverall, "Fine." Her eyes wander to the appearing-disappearing figure for a second, only really catching a shadow of a glimpse, before she whirls about and resumes her departure at high altitude. Given the disaster yesterday, today's outing feels a lot more... successful.
Touta Konoe "Thanks Solty, I didn't even see you here for a bit! You too, way to go Lancer! Talk about some fancy cutler-" Everything had seemed fine. The civilians had been helped thanks to the combined efforts of the three. More than likely though...Just one of them probably could have handled the group. But uh, teamwork's always nice. Though as everything seems fine it isn't. If he had to describe the sensation, it almost felt like the distortions earlier in the war. Just happening in and instant and then gone. That's what occurred when Touta sees the black-hooded figure before him. To say nothing but simply nod, and before anything more...Disappear.

Touta's forced to blink his eyes a few times. "Huh...?" With most of the fighting over he looks over to Lancer and Solty, "Hey did either of you two see that guy in the hoodie?"

Was he talking about Nagi? He must be talking about Nagi. Nagi's the only one there with a hoodie right?
Solty Revant      Solty smiles happily upon being thanked by Touta. Then that hooded figure appears. Solty yelps in surprise and hops back. How did he just appear there like that? She joins Touta in blinking a few times, then nods lightly. "I...I saw him. Did you recognize him?" she asks, then shrugs and smiles again. "You were pretty distracted with all that was happening when I got here, so it's alright. I'm just glad I could help!" she says, then looks toward where Tamamo disappeared. "But...Miss Caster seemed really upset. She wanted to help, and it didn't seem like you guys wanted her to. She didn't really do anything wrong, I think. I mean...you can't really blame someone for not thinking their husband will not do something bad like sacrifice a person, can you?" she says, looking to Touta about half way through her little speech. She smiles a bit apologetically. "I...I really think you should talk with her and maybe apologize. I mean, how would you feel if your wife or best friend did something like that? And then, you weren't even allowed to help fix it?"

She looks toward the Lancer after that and smiles kindly before offering a hand. "Hello! I'm Solty Revant! I guess you are Mr. Touta's friend now, so we should be friends, too!" she says before looking up at and waving lightly to Tanya. "Thank you for helping!"
