Owner Pose
Leyanne Leyanne enters, once again, in the saddle of her Line monster-truck, Clive. The megafauna seems to be quite enjoying the attention, catching a tyre thrown by someone in the crowd to chew on with a happy growl/rev of his engine. She waves to the crowd as she rolls down the approach to the ring itself.

She hops down off the 'truck' and pats his nose. "Good boy." She says, opening a trunk bolted to his back and pulling out today's weapon of choice, a minigun. She climbs up into the ring and waves, taking her corner to await her opponent.
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo walks in once more to the arena to the cheers of the crowd as the Caster-class gives happy waves towards those who give her attention... ah how the arena boosted her ego. "Hi hi, your Caster is here to show you another win, hopefully!" she cheers back to the crowd which only riles them up further. Tamamo's mirror floats around her, a stretch given to pop a few joints before a few talismans drop from her sleeves into her hands, placing them a bit on the cover so helpfully around her area.

    It worked before.

Stepping just past the cover, she turns to her opponent then tilts her head, looking at the weapon... then back at the mouse... then the weapon again. She sighs a bit, "Another Archer class..." she mutters to herself... "Well, have at it, you wouldn't be the first user of a weapon like that against me that I've trounced!" Tamamo looks towards some of the cover, last time she didn't have much.. This time might go better!
Leyanne Leyanne grins at Tamamo "Good luck!" She says, tapping her gun's barrel-cluster to her helmet in a salute as Tamamo enters. At her comment, Leyanne tiltts her head. "Archer? Nah mate." She calls out. "I'm a Heavy Gunner class." She grins, settling herself behind a groin-high wall. It's supposed to be chest-high, but the mouse stands over 8ft tall.

When the klaxon sounds the mouse immediately opens up in the fox's general direction, intending to set her off-stride to try and control the engagement from the beginning and drive her into cover!

Clive watches anxiously from ring-side, nervously chewing on his tyre.
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo blinks, "Heavy... Gunner?" she shakes her head, "I've... it must be one of those Extra classes like Ruler and such..." she shakes her head, "I'll have to see what the Moon Cell thinks of this." a few more talismans drop into her hand and she smiles, stalking forward towards the mouse. "Quite tall for a mousy woman, but I'm afraid the fox has this in the bag." stupid puns.

The hail of bullets barrage at her and rip through the fabric, slicing into her skin. She makes a brave face at this, the bullets do cause pain but she's forcing herself to be tough, after all this is what Seifer can do, she'll try to mimic it! "Ow." she mocks, hoping it'd throw the mouse off guard.

Now rushing in, Tamamo drops some talismans onto the ground before throwing a few more that ignite and explode upon whatever they touch, either trying to obliterate cover... or the mouse behind it!
Leyanne Leyanne grins "Oh you won't out-fox me that easily!" Leyanne calls out with a laugh, suddenly cut off as she sees those glittering talismans come her way. She dives aside - surprisingly spry, for a mouse of her size, but she's still peppered quite hard with chunks of stone, concrete, or whatever the cover is made of. Contuing her dive into a roll to keep the momentum going, the Megamouse comes back up onto her feet and begins moving for her next piece of cover - a large pillar.

She keeps up the hail of fire towards Tamamo, a trail of casings scattered behind her as she moves. She's hoping to slow Tamamo's advance; once the fox brings things get into melee all bets are off...
Tamamo no Mae     "Really?" there's an indignant sound to her voice from the mouse-pun, but with the surprising spryness of the large mouse, she ducks back towards a wall to hide behind as the bullets continue to fly in, ripping some of her cover to shreds and allowing the concrete to chip and crack and fall onto the fox. There's a loud, surprised "mikon" in response before she peeks back from outside that wall, covered in concrete dust.

"You know, those puns are really horrible." she yells, "I'm going to freeze them now." and with this, she points her mirror towards the mouse and starts firing off rapid fire icicles, like a machine gun!
Leyanne Leyanne yelps as the icicles slam into her armour, one of them imbedding itself a good way into her shoulder while the others slice into her bodysuit. She opens fire, trying to shoot some of them down - but only manages to thin the blizzard. She keeps firing, although her aim gets worse as she takes her right hand off the gun, aiming it solely with her cybernetic hand. Her other hand fumbles on her belt a moment pulling something off and lobbing it towards Tamamo's cover, trying to flush her out. She really should have brought her M2... the minigun just isn't punching through the concrete like she'd prefer.

A few seconds later, the smoke grenade begins to spew smoke, making it both hard to see and hard to breathe in its area-of-effect - if it lands where the mouse wants it, Tamamo's cover is suddenly a much less pleasant place to be.
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo cheers to herself, a soft little 'yes' escaping her lips as she makes her way around the arena. This mouse isn't moving to where she wants, so its time to force it. At least, if she could see. The smoke grenade detonates, shrapnel cutting through and smoke choking her breathing... okay, maybe the mouse is making the fox move where /she/ wants. And this isn't good.

She stumbles around to move out of the smoke cloud, coughing and hacking up a lung as she tries to regain breath. "Ugh, smoke... you dirty..." she shakes her head, leaning up against one of the walls. She's visibly bleeding and cut up so there's something there for the mouse to feel good about!

This, however, doesn't stop the Caster Fox and she points her mirror towards Leyanne... then starts to chase after her with more fireballs spewing from her mirror this time! "Burn, mouse!" she aims some of the fireballs in front of Leyanne, trying to force them to move!
Leyanne Leyanne can't really do much against the storm of fireballs; she attempts to dodge them, moving towards her next chunk of cover - but alas, the mouse may be agile but she is not fast, and several of the fireballs strike home - one of them catching the mouse in the exposed jaw and, for the second time this tournament, exposing metal-plated bone and parts of the supports for her cybernetic eye.

"Motherf-" She mutters, spitting a bit of blood. She hauls herself up to her feet after that assault, growling quietly. Her cybernetic eye goes red now, an angry hue as the mouse engages several of her targeting systems, opening up a sustained - and frighteningly precise - barrage against the fox, attempting to prevent her from capitalizing on her advantage.
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo pushes right through, continuing her fireball barrage, watching the mouse move from cover to cover, keeping the pressure on until it comes to a nice cataclysmic... in her mind... conclusion. She waits for the smoke to clear and she makes some noises as the crowd goes silent, waiting for her victory to be realized. "Come on, don't get up, don't get up... don't get up..."

    She got up.

"Stupid mouse... I said not to get up." Tamamo shakes her head, slowly approaching as her mirror floats overhead, "Curse..." she starts, until the gun starts firing again, that red hue in the eye means Tamamo needs to do /something/... and that something is her rapid movements from here and there, using her Extella Maneuver as a defensive and repositioning tool!

Bullets rip through cloth, cut and rip through flesh, sprays of red appearing on the ground as visible wincing appears upon the fox's face... "L... let me tell you something... Foxes are higher on the food chain than mice." it's this point where Tamamo's talisman's she laid before start glowing, then raise off the ground ever so slightly... she launches her mirror and it starts to glow a bright red. "Curse... Firey Heaven!" the talismans explode into fire pillars, while the mirror launches another fireball, laced with strength sapping magic to try and tire out the mouse before anything else can happen.
Leyanne Leyanne gets thoroughly exploded by the talismans, blasted sideways and slammed into a pillar, which then collapses on her, for good measure. It looks for several seconds like Tamamo has won this one; the mound of rubble where the mouse hit the pillar doesn't appear to move, and there's red smears on a lot of jagged stone.
But she's not out yet. When Tamamo mentions the position of mice on the food chain, there's a low growl from where the mouse fell. The rock shifts and moves, a few pieces clattering to the ground before the mouse stands, her right arm - the organic one is simply missing at the elbow, her tail broken and hanging limply, and a multitude of cuts visible on her armour - along with dents, rents and gashes in her armour. But she refuses to to stay down after that... insult.

Breathing hard, the mouse picks up a rock in her cybernetic hand and, with a bit of a wind-up, pitches it at Tamamo like a baseball.
Tamamo no Mae     Ah, the explosions... there's a quick flash and Tamamo's outfit is replaced by her swimsuit and the mirror is replaced by her beach parasol, "Time to bask in the nice artifical sunlight~" she cheers, giving waves to the crowd as they chant 'Caster! Caster!'. "Ah, this...must be how Saber feels." she makes a giddy chuckle and a sigh, a content fox is a happy fox.

At least, until the mouse lets out a growl that makes the fox's ears perk. "You... really don't want to stay down, do you?" she questions, and with the rock being thrown at her, she frowns and doesn't even move, allowing it to smack right into the fox's shoulder, causing a very visible wince and an even more visible wound... that shoulder's probably in bad shape now but she holds the beach parasol tightly. "Well then. Perhaps this might show you..."

Tamamo rallies herself up, rallies the crowd up and she rushes in, leaping in with a knee to the chest, then a reverse kick off Leyanne, then into the air and back down with a precise kick to the stomach. After a moment, there's a massive explosion after the fox leaps away from her last kick. "Mikon~!"
Leyanne Leyanne growls an attempts to make a swing to intercept Tamamo, even as she knows it won't work. But the mouse can't let that insult go unanswered, so even as Tamamo's combo hits home... she remains standing through all of it - even managing to connect a few counters of her own, although weakened quite considerably by the damage to the mouse's cybernetics. It's something akin to kicking a wall, thanks to her size and mass, although the rodent's grunts and attempts to block show that it's hurting.

And then the explosion goes off. The mouse is blown sideways by it and slammed through another pillar. And yet she still just Won't. Stay. Down.

And yet... that seems to be all the fight that's left in Tiny. She sits down again making a slashing gesture across her neck. "I'm done." She says. "You win."

She is just determined not to fall unconscious. Not after Tamamo made that food chain comment... and it's clearly taking every ounce of willpower she's got.
Tamamo no Mae     Tamamo powers through the return counters, but the fact her kicks wern't budging her... she just waits for the explosion and there it is. Tamamo's back is turned towards Leyanne and her ears perk up, hidden behind the beach parasol. "Good." she replies in kind, "Never met a mouse who had the tenacity of something even greater. You'll go far." she nods, turning her head and torso around to look back at the mouse, "Well done, well done indeed. And sorry for the comment earlier."

The fox grins a bit at this, "You'll make someone happy with that tenacity of yours. Maybe we can rematch later. I, for one, would enjoy it."
Leyanne Leyanne nods a little "Same." she agrees, sitting down against a pillar to wait for the world to stop spinning. She nods, and immediately regrets it. "Ooh... bad idea.... If you hadn't made that comment I wouldn't be too angry to let myself pass out. It's... a quirk of the species; we've been kicked around by near-on everyone in the galaxy who wants a try and we've only just got our home back. Calling us food, the R-word, you know the one that rhymes with cat... makes us a bit touchy, y'know? I'd be up for a rematch, though." She searches through her belt-pouches and finds a flask of tea, which she takes a sip of and offers up to the fox, apparently not noticing that half of the tea came back out through the hole in her face.

"Not tonight, though."
