Touta Konoe      Located on an island 10 km off the shore of New Tokyo, Fairyland Hall is operating as it always does. With summer slowly approaching many are pre-paring for more influx of travelers. Even now the halls and rooms are slowly filling up. With everyone so busy it's odd as three individuals are called to the boss, Yukihime's office.

Upon entering the first thing one sees is the large desk cluttered with papers and knicknacks that stares the entrance way down, behind it are large windows with a view of the island below. On both the left and right side an assortment of bookshelves completely filled to the brim.

The one who sits at the desk was a woman who appeared to be in her mid 20's or so. Long blonde-hair, and blue-eyes. At her side is a hole in the floor. In that hole in the floor is the first of those individuals, an idiot wearing a server's uniform. Like the graceful and majestic Emu, his head is currently in the hole in the floor.
Evangeline McDowell     Due to an art error and intense jealousy, Evangeline's eyes were briefly green in several of the frames. She had been gawping at all the people around her for almost five seconds before someone said something that irritated her, and then everyone piled on nonstop. It was probably supposed to be something innocent, like "She's cute" or "Touta is that your girlfriend" or much worse: "Isn't that Yukihime?" Regardless of the cause, now she's got a quiet and sullen expression, which only twitches a little bit as she takes her eyes away from Touta to re-regard his assailant.
"... so, that's the situation, huh? Multiple universes. I should have known that I'd get the unlucky version."
Evangeline's teacup clinks down in the saucer.
    "Are you happy?"
Ritsuka Fujimaru Another day, another paycheck. Jeanne's gotten a little too used to working the kitchen and with the kids in Fairyland Hall, and it's not sitting well with her. She's supposed to be a feared and hated figure, dammit! Being called to Yukihime's office, then, provides her with an ideal opportunity to voice her discontent.

... Until she spots a child on the way there next to Touta. Evangeline gets a raised eyebrow, and then that transfers immediately to Touta by extension. "Should I even ask?" She stares dully at him for a few moments before turning back to Evangeline, crossing her arms after a moment and gesturing at the office door with her head. "You have business with that woman, too?"
Touta Konoe      The older blonde stares at the younger child with a bit of agitation. Like she wants to scold her but at the same time something is prohibiting her from doing so. It's like whenever Jeanne wants to blow something up, but is trying to maintain her composure. It is probably an expression she knows quite well. Though with a gentle breath in and a bit of a sigh she responds back, "That's the jist of it so far. While I haven't been out in the Multiverse myself, I end up having this one give me reports on what he ends up doing so that if he ends up doing something over his head we can do damage control. So needless to say when he came back with a dislodged arm and saying it was mine, you can imagine the surprise. Still, even from what Touta's told me, I wanted to hear your situation directly from you. Think of it as us comparing notes or something."

As Jeanne arrives into the room, Touta slowly pulls his head out of the hole about to respond, "Well, ya see w-" And like that his head is smacked back into the same hole again and it's the woman at the desk who speaks up.

"Ah, Jeanne's here? Wonderful~" There's an odd amount of joy in her voice when talking about Jeanne, was that normal? Doesn't feel normal.

"Come over here. Feel free to drink some tea and some of the sweets on the desk. We'll get to you in a bit."

With that she urges the older blonde of the two to come closer to the desk to listen to the smaller one's tale while enjoying some tea.
Evangeline McDowell     "_You_," Evangeline starts, choking up, then looking infuriated, and fighting down the choking with her undiulated rage. "You were lucky. You were /chosen/, by this giant lottery that they call the Multiverse. You're not some terrifying villain hunted all over the world. You're not trapped in a school listening to _INSIPID_ drivel coming out of _children_. So maybe you've forgotten what it was like back there. In that... hell. That SPIKY-HAIRED IDIOT-" -not Touta- "- promised. HE PROMISED! He never came back for me."
The teacup finds itself onto the table, next to the so-far untouched candy. Evangeline stands up. "I _hate_ my world. Up until now I thought there was... was some grand plan for me. Maybe if I trusted in it, good things will happen to me. Now? Because everything was by /chance/? It's some... big game? Inscrutable beings are making worlds and making people like me - no ... characters. _ROLES_. Like me. Just because they're amused by my suffering? That world can go and _burn_.?"
She sits down heavily again, wincing for a moment as she forgets to flip her hair out of the way of the sitting. "I don't deserve this. NOBODY deserves this."
Ritsuka Fujimaru There's definitely something wrong here. Jeanne is much too used to this, and she barely even knows these people. Instead of being confused or freaked out, she just sighs and takes a seat at the table. She slouches back in her seat while grabbing some tea to drink, looking between the older and younger blondes slowly.

"Fine, I'll humor this for now. But what is it that you want?" She's rather snippy today, too, even as she listens to Evangeline and Yukihime exchange somewhat confusing words. She doesn't quite get the context behind it, but when she hears the anger and vitriol coming from the younger girl...

Jeanne smirks. "So that's why you called me here. I see... Perhaps you /are/ capable of more than just posturing." The Servant rises as well, finishing her tea before turning to Evangeline. "You want that world to burn, then? To make the people responsible for your suffering to experience their own hell? To wish that there'd be a merciful God to come and rescue them from their self-made torment?!

She's cackling by the time she reaches the last part, then stops briefly to sit back down. "... Where is it?"
Touta Konoe      Yukihime, the actual one, listens to the outrage that comes from this younger doppelganger. In response to this outrage she raises a hand out towards her...A magical circle appears and in the next moment, Evangeline finds that she's slowly being ensnared in ice. As Eva and Jeanne look back to Yukihime her eyes seem much colder than before, yet she smiles.

"Lucky? Chosen? That's funny, tell me when did I start believing in such nonsense? I know that Touta had said that you were in that school an extra eighty-years but I wouldn't have expected your mind to go to mush so easily. Still, I think you're misunderstanding something. Right now, you're powerless. I could throw you to the bottom of the sea, put you on ice for a couple hundred years, maybe see if my new employee wants to earn a few extra brownie points by setting you alight. At least, back in that hell hole you were safe, unknown by the world, it may not have been pleasant but for a little girl that isn't able to do anything but complain that others have it better than her it was still the best safety net. Instead you chose to scurry off like a rat. And now that you find a world similar to yours, you think it's alright to start talking so boldly to the one who's offerring up their hospitality? I guess I should give you eighty-years of real /suffering/ to let you realize how good you had it."

Slowly the ice continues to go up higher and on Eva's body, the frigid chill slowly crawling up her skin, she's only just gotten out of that hell of a school and now she was about to be in a frozen hell instead? Maybe this really was a game!

     "STOP!!!"

The boy grabs Yukihime's hand casting the spell. The two exchange a look for a moment. Yukihime clearly seems unwilling to cave in as the spell resumes it's course, though after a continued staring match between the two it seems that there's a settling point. She lowers her hand stopping the spell. The ice that is built up though does not disappear.

Touta slowly goes over to Evangeline trying his best help get her out of this ice, "Hey, that was way overkill on her part, but that was out of line. Just because Yukihime wasn't trapped in that school as long as you doesn't mean she hasn't had her problems and worries of her own." He looks back to Yukihime, she neither denies or confirms his claims. Instead she simply turns towards Jeanne.

"That's Evangeline McDowell...An alternate one from a separate timeline apparently. Unlike me though she's lost her capabilities to use magic at the moment. That said she still decided to leave her world. She got 'lucky' that Touta had ended up finding her before she got caught up in something beyond what she can handle. While she was a bit of a smart ass a moment ago, I know that ten years without my magic actually was unpleasant, and from what I was told she had no friends either." There's a bit of a scoff in Eva's direction as she says that. "So being as gracious as I am, I figure that I'd help her out by giving her a babysitter." She then turns back to Jeanne at that remark with a bit of a smile.

Touta looks to Jeanne hoping that she might be able to help him thaw Eva out. As he does he tries to chime in again at this point, "Yukihime, that's going to-"

"Oh, and another thing. Touta, I'm demoting you. You keep ditching work to frolick around the Multiverse and it's affecting your job. So for the time being Jeanne is your sitt- your superior for the timebeing. You'll be listening to what she says while she makes sure you're staying out of trouble, like that Grail War, I keep hearing you talk about."
Evangeline McDowell     "You've let it all go to your /head/," Evangeline spits out, undaunted by the ice creeping up on her, "Just because you have power. Just because you have ... things. And... people."
There was supposed to be a really rude gesture right about now, to go with the next sentences, but of course the ice is all really rather good at preventing general rudeness. Even if all the ice is kind of ruining the leather on the couch - replacement time?
"Touta..." There's a momentary softening in Eva's tone, and then it was gone.
"I will find a way. I will /make/ a way. You've gone soft. And... big... and comfortable. I remember what Touta had mentioned. How you just... slacked off for a while because you can. Living the peaceful teacher life. I will seize your position from under you, and do what you're doing better than you can ever hope to do. You just watch me, sis. You... just... WATCH."
Evangeline turns on her heels, flips her hair dramatically, and strides away... is what she would have done if she's not still totally stuck in place.
    "Tch."
Ritsuka Fujimaru It's eerie watching these two... Clones? Doppelgangers? Alternate forms? Whatever they are, Jeanne can feel a pang of... Something in her chest as the older shows such disdain for the younger, and a small part of her is almost tempted to step in. Not because of any personal experience in the matter nor because of caring what happens to the younger, but...

It could happen if she ever met the other her. It probably never would, but it could. Luckily, Touta stops Yukihime before Jeanne can make things objectively worse for everyone, and Jeanne is left listening to Yukihime once more as she details Evangeline's upbringing and circumstances.

"Is that what your plan is, then? To have me of all people help her make... 'Friends'? You've met me, haven't you?" Jeanne scoffs, and an indignant smirk crosses her face as she crosses her arms once more. She even outright laughs when Evangeline issues her challenge, drawing her sword from the air and pressing it against the ice holding the girl in place.

"This should be fun to watch, if nothing else." Flames surround her blade to melt the ice, but they remain controlled enough so as to not actually immolate anyone. "Just don't expect this to be a full time thing. I have my own work elsewhere. Touta, you'd best not let us down."
Touta Konoe      "Wow, maybe I was the lucky one after all. If being in your world turned me into someone like you I guess I should be grateful. Still, if you're going to 'find a way', I'd encourage it to 'find a way' to not sound so sorry. Seriously, I might have to consider holding you up here at the base. It would be a major hassle if people in the Multiverse thought that they could waltz into this world thinking that I'm a some sort of push over. Though if you think you can do something like that I encourage you to go for it. After all, everyone should try to be better than who they were before shouldn't they?"

Yukihime gets up from her seat to stretch somewhat as she looks out the window though. "Alright, well that was fun but I think we can call this meeting over and done wit-"

"Like hell!" Touta shouts out again. He really needs a mute button. "What do you mean we're not allowed in the war anymore?! I told you already Nagi's there and he's the only one that can-"

"TOUTA..." Yukihime now gives that cold glare to him now, though with less of a smile. She starts speaking less like a boss and more like a parent to the black spikey-haired boy. "You already told me that it might be possible he can help her. /But/ he's made no guarantees and there's clearly something going on behind the scenes with him. Even if that wasn't the case though... Don't start fights you can't win. I always told you that things you want are only worth it if you're willing to take the risk for it, but this is out of your league. You were the one who gave me the reports that made me make this decision. This 'Concord' is clearly going to be the ones who win this thing hands down. They already took down two more Servants the other day and that leader has already made it pretty clear that she's use to killing immortals. If they decide they want to kill Nagi it seems like they have all the capability in the world, no Multiverse to do so."

"So let's bring everyone from here to help! We could take them down and help Kitty too if it was everyone in UQ Holder!"

"Perhaps, but no. I told you the first time you went out there, I'm not going to have you drag in the others for this crap...Even if it's for Nagi."

From there she returns back to the one who finds herself scoffing at the situation. "I'm glad you're enjoying this. Still, my plan is less for you to be her friend, and more to make sure she doesn't end up in a ditch somewhere. The way I see it is that even if she can't use her magic right now, she still has it. If the need arises she should be plenty capable of restoring any mana for you should the need arise. You think can think of her as an unlimited magical battery if it makes it more appealing for you. Or if you feel the need to vent out any frustrations, feel free to give her a few smacks now and again. She's probably rusty from all those decades playing school girl so you'd be doing her a favor...As for the Grail War, I'll say this one more time for emphasis Jeanne. Do NOT allow them near that mess. If they don't have the man power to protect what they want then they shouldn't get near that war.

And if I hear that they do somehow get pulled in again...Well, Easter's coming up, and after your great performance during Christmas, people have been asking if we'd be having an Easter Bunny this year..."
Evangeline McDowell     "You're not the boss of me." Evangeline grates out, "Either you'll have me in UQ Holder... in which case you'll have to take responsibility for me... or you don't... in which case you're not the boss of me and can't make me do anything. Touta, maybe. That Jeanne person, sure. But there's only former Dark Evangel in here that you control."
Somewhere past the cold fury, Evangeline found time to look to the side and transfix Touta with a slightly judgemental stare, "I... I think I'm still grateful to you for what you've done. So... if you want to use my body for that kind of purpose... well if it's you then it's okay."
Jeanne gets the stare next, "You of anyone should know better than to stand in the way of hate."
Ritsuka Fujimaru There's some references to more specific people and events going around now, and Jeanne's not quite sure what to make of all of it. The Grail War is familiar enough, the Concord is a known entity, and Nagi had come up in previous conversations once or twice, but the rest...

There's a lot of blanks remaining. "I make no promises. If they're truly determined to get involved in a war that could get their friends and everyone they know killed or cursed for generations, they'll do it with or without us holding them back." Jeanne grins as she says that, although she glances towards Touta and Evangeline with a very brief, but pointed stare.

She's probably not joking about any of that. Evangeline gets that mildly deranged grin next, and Jeanne tosses her sword back into the ether. "Indeed. It should be fun watching how you differentiate yourself from your original. Don't disappoint me."
Touta Konoe      Touta looks really confused for a moment at one of the statements that Eva mentions but just as he's about to asked he's slammed back into the floor again, with a bit of a surprised if not annoyed look on Yukihime's face. "You're definitely /bold/. I'll give you that much. Though get something through your head, if you are going to stay here, you are a part of UQ Holder. And if that is the case I do intend to take care of you whether you like it or not. And that might mean leaving you with people in this organization I trust."

To this point Touta tries lifting his head up at Jeanne's mention of not intending to impede them, to which he looks like he's about to get really excited, and then back in the floor he goes. This time she used her heel.

"Seriously...You'd think after we've been looking out for you, you'd feel a bit more indebted. But whatever. You've been doing your job as needed. As long as you do that you'll still have a home here. Still..." At this point Yukihime's eyes go frigid. It's probably the coldest stare she's given anyone the entire time she's been here. "If you decide to let them off the leash while you're suppose to be looking after them, and something /does/ happen to them. I promise you, Jeanne de Arc that no amount of God's salvation will save you from me..."

Her words are cold like her stare but it was clear that she meant business, that she would not take any excuses of why she did not intervene if things escalated beyond a certain point.

She takes a moment to go back to her seat trying to return to a somewhat more calm if not somewhat agitated demeanor. "Alright, I think we can conclude this productive staff meeting. Also, Jeanne before I forget, please make sure you bring my 'little sister' to get her new uniform. She'll be needing it starting today."
Evangeline McDowell     "UNIFORM!?" Evangeline blurts it all out, everything else completely wiped off of her mind for now. Blowing up her home country can wait. IMPORTANT QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED!
