Kotone Yamakawa GITS Earth
Kahului -Hawaii
Former USA ARMED FORCES BLACK SITE.

The black site had been made with the most advanced systems of world war three. This had it be likely the most dangerous place on the island. The place was only partially above ground, the upper level had suffered as much as anything left idle but what few Record Kotone had related the Alliance had? Was it went down underground, there was a lift down, there had been several but only one was online at the time and that was with Kotone heading in ahead of the party and trying to get it working again.

It was deep enough to endure a nuclear strike and even some forms of orbital bombardment as Kinetic kill rods were certainly in development at the time. The party would be in the old life now as it descended into the underground.

"Anyone who has implant id' advises shutting off any external connections you have, mine is already off."

Kotone had a nbale thing on the back of her neck like some kind of collar, which also had data jacks on it.

"I'm already fitted with a dummy barrier in the event I do need to get into anything else what little data we have on this site is it was involved in robotics and E-warfare development."

The lift continued into the depths of the earth while Kotone waited and took a deep breath.

"The alliance wants any and all data recovered, doubly so if it's information they can leverage against the American Empire or anyone else who was involved in this site."

There was some time for chatting but the lift after some time would come down on the first level it could access and the old doors hissed open, things were on emergency power, red light bathed the old hallways and there were signs of something shell casings on the floor but it was hard to tell how long they'd been there.

Welcome to the Black Site, what horrors were forged here during the worst war in this world's history?

Orchid      "I'm using some modified software," Orchid reports. "There's some loss in bandwidth, but my drones will be secure to me." She's kind of an expert when it comes to securing her own communication systems, and without her spiders she's nearly blind. Basically, she's treating the site like an active Maverick Virus site. She's also got an external computer, that she'll be doing any needed hacking through, not wanting to expose her personal system to whatever digital monsters are at this site.
Staren     Staren is here! In the armor, as usual. Though, having to shut off most of his wireless connections, and switch the radio to audio-only, leaves him feeling... isolated, in a way going to the far ends of the Multiverse doesn't. After Kotone explains the collar is a dummy barrier, he pulls out an ecto and taps it, to indicate he has something that can work as a spare in a pinch, he hopes. He slips it back into his bag as they wait for the elevator to reach the next floor. "Note to self. If I ever design a government black site, rig the elevators to gas people if someone tries to use them unexpectedly. ...Oh right, the Americans gave you codes, huh."
Corona Arclite "Sometimes Ah reckon it's a good thin' Ah don't use all yer fancy digital tech," Corona drawls. She pulls Forgesweeper from it's sling at her back, and the mimicry of a lever action makes an audible cha-click as she pumps it once to activate the power generator. The familiar blue-green particle glow of pulsarium is visible within the chamber replacing a shell slot.

With scattergun in hand the wily vixen will take the front as the lift opens, constantly shifting her gaze and her weapon from side to side in a defensive manner. Her ears are just as constantly twitch, and honestly she's probably more likely to hear something before she sees it.
Leyanne Leyanne is, for once, not carrying a heavy weapon. Not exactly, anyway. Instead she's carring a pair of AA-12 shotguns, one in each hand, and a rig that seems designed to make it easy to rapidly insert fresh magazines, an idea shamelessly stolen from a certain Ms. Croft. "Bein' hackable /is/ a drawback of modern digital architecture, unfortunately." Leyanne agrees."But on the other hand... full feedback, no lag, and more precision than most mechanical rigs are going to get." She chuckles.

She's out of the door moments behind Corona, both of her automatic 12-bores levelled and ready, her ears just as active as Corona's. Her antennae too, stick out at full extension like an old TV, turning gently from left to right.
Reyes     "In that case, you should leave the heavy-duty hacking to me. Pretty sure whatever they got that can muck with cybernetics won't know how to handle my approach." Reyes answers Kotone's warning, hints of care and worry in his tone. After all, Kotone and Orchid have made big impressions on him...

He'd hate to see anything happen to them.

As usual, he's wearing his souped-up mystical Explorer Environmental Battle Armor, providing full body coverage and masking his face behind a bunch of ceramic and an opaque visor. The armor's mystical patterns glow faintly, ready to fully engage his Techno-Wizard functions at a moment's notice. He's already carrying his enchanted revolver in his right hand.

He steps forward in one long stride and draws himself up straight and tall afterwards. Glances this way and that...

"Hm." Unsure what to do, he opens a pouch and pulls out a handheld computer, scanning for any wireless signals or attempts to hack his gear. Inside the gadget, a carefully tuned bit of Techno-Wizardry's ready to perform protocol adapting to connect to this unfamiliar network... if there's anything to connect to.

He leaves this computer in the air, floating alongside him somehow as he takes a few cautious steps into a hallway for a closer look...
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone looks to Corhcid for a moment but given how Orchid is treating the site she has no concerns she wanted to give a warning about it. It's something.

"The alliance could only find the codes for the front door, but The Colonel got us them. Given things here I'd expect something like that."

Reyes would notice with his powers as they decent why yes there was a /gas/ system installed in the lift.

"For me, it's the price I pay not being bedridden for the rest of my life unable to do anything."

She noted Leyanne is there too and notices the shotguns and nods.

Kotone grins a bit "Hey I make good money with analog stuff like old cars, I happen to enjoy it. Grandma Kotone would tell me about the days before smart devices...when I visited her when I was younger. Really she's been wanting to meet you, people, actually."

There is something going on here, with the door codes they? The party reaches the first checkpoint without any issue.

"This is as far as our codes are going to get us, so be alert and ready."

She gives Reyes a look nodding with a grin.

"That is good news, you have no idea how many times I had to plug my brain into alien tech to get a door open, shut off a trap or something else."

With that Kotone will move ahead keeping information there are wireless singles active ones, actually here. The Security is heavy, while not quite as advanced it got the same methodology as say a heavily secure Coalition States site like this might have. He can use the access code to get the idea there are cameras along here and installed traps though it seems one of the sentry guns here? does not have a full ammo hopper, far from it.

As Orchid advance though she'll take a misstep and tripwire, a click is heard and a shotgun blast comes from a side hallway in her general direction. It shouldn't be enough to kill a Reploid like her but it would mess up a civilian grade cyborg or a normal human. After it's overlooking over the trap would reveal it's not part of the base own defence systems someone rigged it. The question is how long ago?

"Orchid are you all right?"

Kotone will check on her friend for the moment while anyone with scanners might get a reading of a power spike the lights come on and an alarm goes off.

"Weapon Discharge defence level raided, activating security measures."
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite gives Kotone a light nudge with her elbow. "Ya still owe us a late holiday dinner... But true to all thin's keep poppin' up to keep us busy."

But the cheeky moment is interrupted by the lights flashing and alarms going off about weapon discharges.

"AH DIDN'T DO IT!" Corona even holds her weapon up so people can see while it's charged up she's still got a finger on the safety.
Orchid      Once they're out of the elevator, Orchid is sending her spider drones out. She needs to get an idea for the actual map, places where the structure might be weak, and anything that might be moving. Finding the last will be made easier by listening, and filtering out the sound of her allies. "If you're willing to take that job Reyes," Orchid says, sounding a little distracted as she manages her drones. As far as wireless signals go, her signals should be on a frequency different than the local systems.

Then comes the blast, Orchid knocked back, but those wide feet giving her good leverage to stay standing. "I- I'm good. Yeah." She's more shaken than hurt; she's wearing her armor, which catches most of the slug before it enters her body proper. "And of course there's flashing lights now." She's instructing her robots to cover the camera lenses as they find them; just in case those inside are hostile, she wants to blind them.
Staren     Something shoots Orchid! Staren moves forward to try and dra a bead on it... but it's just a tripwire trap?! And then an alarm goes up. He looks up towards the speakers. "Well f***." he backs away, dragging Orchid if need be. "You know, we're RIGHT by the entrance. We could wait for it to reset and then try again."
Leyanne Leyanne grins back to Ko when she spot the nod.

At the shotgun discharge, Leyanne interposes herself between Orchid and the source of the shot, sending a discharge of her own back in the direction of the trap. It might've been a snap-shot, but the mouse's aim is spot on.

The thing about hyperglass is that it's got tremendous amounts of inertia. Meaning that her shotgun has a lot more kick than it really should... and the little shards of hyperglass, while light, rip through the shotgun trap with relative ease, and make a pretty credible effort to burrow into the floor and walls beyond, digging long furrows.

At the alarm she looks up with a grimace "...shit."
Reyes     "There WAS a gas trap in the elevator." Reyes mentions to Staren, sounding a little unnerved. Why didn't he mention this sooner...?

He probably would've just shut it down had it activated though. A strain on his brain, but necessary.

As Reyes maneuvers, he frequently reaches out with his senses into the walls, feeling for the telltale of wiring and embedded sensors and gadgetry and where there happens to be anything dangerous like guns or other traps, forcing it to enter emergency standby modes and go inactive.

    But as he's doing this...

There's a *BANG* from not too far off that causes him to jump a full three feet backwards and roll into a defensive crouch... except he fumbles the last part and ends up landing on his tush.

The young man scrambles to his feet after this and looks back the previous hallway, spotting what happened...

And that the lights came on.

"We're SURROUNDED by nasty traps, but I get the feeling we're not the first ones here. Some of the hidden sentry guns are low on ammo. ... but I haven't seen any bones..."
Kotone Yamakawa "For once Corona."

is Kotone's reply to her friend. She notes Orchid, while she's recoverin ordering her drones to cover what camera they can find. This will hamper the response to the party's presence here. Kotone is already moving to cloak now, given her own therm optic cameo is light years ahead of that of this base's era it should give her an edge in being noticed. At least that is Kotone's hope at doing that.

Reyes comment get a concerned reply from Kotone.

"Which means someone either pulled the dead out or they didn't lose anyone..."

At that moment said turrets pop out of hiding and open up on the group spraying rounds down the hallway targeting on the intruders to the old base it's a good thing ammo levels are low though as the calibre is pretty hefty and there's no cover leading up to the turrets.
Corona Arclite Any witty retort that may of been in the wings is forgotten as Corona's ears snap up and forward at the minute mechanical sounds of the turrets deploying from their hiding spots. Reflexes are the second thing to snap into action, so swift that when a turret does fire in only riddles the ground where the fox had been standing a split-second before.

The evasive side-step leads Corona closer to a wall, which she takes advantage of immeadiately by jumping to, and actually managing a few steps at the awkward angle before kicking off to avoid another volley of tracking fire, twisting mid-air nimbling and firing off a shot from Forgesweeper.

Corona drops back to the floor in a half-crouch to absorb the landing impact, gun held upright in one hand as she cocks the action again to trigger the recharge sequence.

And as bits of plasma sheared gun clatter to the floor around her, still smoking from the smoldering edges.
Orchid      Orchid has already shifted into combat mode... which for her means putting her shields up, angling them to deflect the bullets incoming into a wall. "Why did they need extra traps?" she asks herself. "There also doesn't seem to be much in the way of wreckage. Did someone repair the traps? But why leave them partly unloaded?"
Staren     "They dragged off the bodies. Or nanites got them, maybe. Why weren't the people setting up traps shot, though?" Staren wonders.

Suddenly, turrets. Six of them! And there is NO COVER anywhere, because the people who designed this facility weren't idiots, as illustrated by the gas traps they only avoided because of legit access codes.

Fortunately, there's many of them, so Staren doesn't have to try and facetank ALL of it. What bullets do come his way tear up his forcefield. The missile racks on his shoulders pop up, and he drops his field for a split-second to fire plasma missiles in an attempt to melt whichever turrets others aren't taking care of. There may be a wash of heat and flames coming back down the corridor because of this, but... it won't keep coming like the bullets will!
Leyanne Leyanne doesn't have a witty report. Just a quiet cuss of 'cock!' as the rounds start to fly. The mouse takes a few, sparks pinging off her armour as they strike home. She doesn't take many hits, however, because she quickly returns the favour on the turret that's firing on her, discharging two shots from each of her shotguns. Normally, a shotgun would be a bad choice for taking out turrets and traps, but... not this time. Leyanne's turret is gutted by the hyperglass shards, ripped open and left with wires and sensors hanging free.
If anyone is having trouble with their turret, Leyanne lets fly with more hyperglass flechettes
Reyes     "---Awwww COME ON!" Reyes hunkers down instantly to present a smaller profile, his Armor of Ithan forcefield kicking in to present a mighty and majestic wireframe-rendered FORCEFIELD that starts taking shots and glowing brilliantly where the bullets strike it and wear down its durability. "Why did they kick in NOW?! They were dormant a few moments ago! There's not supposed to be advanced AI in this world! ... Someone might be commanding 'em... I'd have to get closer..."

Without wrecking them. And, unfortuantely, he's forced to take aim and fire, sending nearly invisible ripples through the air insane force. These ripples hit whard enough to put holes through steel girders.
Kotone Yamakawa The turrets are old but have been protected from the elements so they are still working Corona's able to just blast one of the turrets into scrap metal, with a type of weapon not yet developed on this world. Orchid's shield does the trick and while they fire on her? Kotone will end up getting in close and /ripping/ that turret right off its mountings with a bit of effort. Leyanne gets to try out her sounds and blows away another turret with the strange alien rounds she's developed this is quite the situation to test them in. Staren gets another two and when Reyes let his own attack lose Kotone is forced to get the hell out of the way but in the end.

"Aware AIs Reyes, there are pretty advanced ones otherwise. Seriously there are ones who can run customer service."

The hall is quiet now save for the after effects of the fight.

"Only one way to find out we'll have to push on.... if everyone is all right and we'll find out sooner or later."

The group gets up and moves at this point Reyes would be able to pop the next set of doors and there are more signs of fighting a whole lot of shell causing and several blown out turrets, along with some wrecked androids bearing US military markings as well.

this goes on as they push into what seems to be makeshift barricades and dried blood splatters on the wall, but no bodies a few weapons left behind and a blown open heavy security door leading into a deeper part of the complex it looks like a lab of some sort full of cells, partially assembled prosthetics. There are a number of early Cyberbrain cases on a wrack as the group moves in.

Reyes would get some ideas one the brains had never had an actual brain in them, any of those are long since cleared out most of it is mil-spec prosthetic but interestingly he would understand a lot of gear here is for accessing cyber brains directly and accessing the software used to run them, and the brain itself.

Orchid's drones would pick up some sort of heat signatures several rooms ahead laying in wait but it's the only way to the depths of the labs on this floor.

Leyanne with her understanding o weapons would find a arms locker with a lot of heavy AP ammo, and weapons made for taking down cyborgs like Kotone.

Staren meanwhile would find a terminal which he might be able to boot up and pull some data off of.

"What the hell is this some sort of Cyberware testing lab?"
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite just whistles at the very battle worn corridors. "There's been one helluva shootout in here." She pauses to put a foot up on one of the barricades and examine one of the 'dead' androids behind it. "Ah'd reckon these blokes were tryin' to fight a retreatin' battle to hold off... someone. Or some thing." Though it being mostly androids would explain the lack of dead bodies seen. At least partially.

Idly she picks up one of the discarded weapons and pockets it in her Manipulator's inventory before hopping down and following the others into the lab proper.

A second sight which she aptly sums up with "Well, shit." Walks over to pick up one of the partially asembled prosthetics and waggle it around. "Looks like they were preppin' to... arm someone."
Orchid      Accessing the software of the mind? Or even the software of the device that interfaces with the brain? Well, that's kinda scary... and outside of Orchid's specialization. Orchid is more focused on finding out where more traps are, and her drones being able to see something roughly person-sized? Okay, now this is interesting. While organic life tends to be warmer than robots, active robots can be told from room temperature.

Well, they've lost any hope of surprise, so Orchid sends a single spider through the doors ahead, both to map, and holding a little sign that reads 'we come in peace, take us to your leader'

Well, most of them ARE alien to this world, so it fits.
Leyanne Leyanne moves with the others until she finds the weapons locker, slinging up her shotguns (one on each side of her pack) and moving on to the locker. She opens it up and peers through it, eventually selecting a large 25mm cannon, of the kind that looks like it could either be carried... or wired into someone. It's a single-barrel revolver cannon, driven by an electric motor.

"Fuck if I know, but this is a really nice gun. If I wanted to I could take my hand off and hook it in here look." She points out the socket. "...not gonna do that until I've had it thoroughly looked over, of course."
Reyes     Reyes has absolutely no trouble with any of the doors here. Every time he gets near them, he just sort of glares, holds out his hand and waves at them... and the systems beep to life, security measures are circumvented, and the circuitry to just 'open' is triggered.

And presto, the door opens, a thing it's naturally designed to do.

One might not want to think of what this guy could do if he got near your personal computer though.

    Assuming he would.

And on the group goes into the lab. He's careful about skittering around from shelf to shelf, stopping to check out some of the tech... "Looks like the core housing of the local Full-conversion Cybernetics process... and gear that interfaces with it. I'm no Cyber-Doc, but this stuff looks like top quality... intricate stuff. Military-grade, I bet."
Staren     There was fighting here... Staren wonders what happened.

And then they come to a lab full of equipment for manipulating cyberbrains.

    In a secret government lab.

"I don't like the looks of this... Why would they need to access cyberbrains in weird ways? Virtual torture? Ghost-dubbing?"

Given the level of paranoia displayed in this place's construction, he hesitates to mess with the terminal.

It seems like the kind of thing where if he doesn't enter the right code fast, it'll probably set off more traps. "Reyes?" He calls the techno-wizard over.
Reyes     "Eh?!" Hearing his name called, the man in armor looks over... and, after a moment of silence, shuffles his way towards Staren. "... I hope it's nothing like that." He murmurs.

Not sure what to make of Staren's hesitation of just working with a computer, Reyes decides to reach out his awareness to it and start scanning...
Kotone Yamakawa They seem pretty basic only human enough looking to prevent them from being too disturbing to those who worked with them, it's been stripped of ammo for its weapon, Corona picks up a small but heavy weapon. Kotone will take a few things into her own Matter Manipulator to have them looked at later while leaving the rest in place as she moves.

"Sounds like defence unit we should get ready for a fight then."

Lyanne gets some good salvage given non-critical things can be taken in lieu of pay as part of the hiring contract here it should work out. The Heat signatures have certainly formed up they are seemingly laying in wait now but not coming into the room.

Reyes will find that Staren was right, it had some nasty securely a self-deletion protocol if the wrong codes were used too many times. Once he gets to scanning it he will get some framerate data it looks like this was a lab developing cybernetic and e-warfare weapon notably virus that could effect cyber brains and influence if not control the behaviour of someone who has been infected but there's no concrete detail it seems the data was wiped every day after it was pulled off this computer then overwritten with junk data.

Once the matter of the computer has been finished Kotone will cloak again and head on point in, she's able to slip into the next room which is a security zone narrow corridors with a guard station at the end and there are humanoid figures in tatted uniforms brandishing weapons. Combat Androids it seems more advanced than the ones found in the city are laying in wait, and there are more signs of fighting here, someone used some explosive and there are blast marks here and there.

These machines are between the party and their objective.

<<We need to get by these things.>>

The good news is these things are just self-running weapons, the bad news is they might require a physical connection to hack.

As for Orchid's spider the sign only gets a garbled reply of.

"This is a restrictive *buzz* You are in violation of United States of America *crackle* Throw down your weapon *Buzz*"

Seems like no one's home either.
Staren     "They kept their lab notes on this machine but not the actual virus, huh?" He glances at Kotone, then back to Reyes. "Probably for the best. I wonder how it works. Does it just jack control of their body? Or does it rewrite their ghost itself, to make them WANT to do what the virus's programmer wants them to do? That's..." He shakes his head. A truly dangerous weapon, and one that's pretty hard to counter.

Note to self: Figure out how to counter them. Perhaps some kind of magical, unbreakable oath tied to a contingent mind-restoring spell? But then, that's just the counter someone who'd use such nefarious tools would be /expecting/...

When Staren's confronted with ANOTHER CORRIDOR, he sighs. "Oh come on! There's gotta be another way to go... no, if there ARE maintenance tunnels or the like, they must be full of traps too." He walks someone through reloading his missile racks before they proceed. He keeps them out and ready this time, to just blast at the first sign of trouble.
Orchid      So they've got some time to think: Orchid starts by pulling the lead spider back a room, while the reploid goes over to the other tech experts, in this case Staren and Reyes. "So I've got an idea: I can use my spiders as phreak nodes, but these androids are certainly able to respond to things jumping onto them. Would you be able to hack remotely with access to a spider on the thing?"
Leyanne Leyanne sniffs a little, looking to Orchid and the others. "I would like to point out, this is a 25mm cannon. We don't... exactly need to hack them, and I wouldn't mind a chance to test this puppy out?"
Corona Arclite Of course it's another corridor. They make really good defensive death zones. But they've got a tip-off on these ones.

Corona hmms, reaching for one of the pouches of her belt. "What iffen they couldn't move 'round to brush 'em off?" Followed by a chuckle at Leyanne. "Ya don't need to blow up -all- of em... Though Ah wouldn't mind seein that baby shout either."
Orchid      Orchid shrugs. "I don't see any moral issues with blasting them, but being able to loot working devices would increase the profit." Yeah, Orchid is still looking for more money for the shop she's setting up.
Staren     Staren asides to Orchid, "I'm not really a hacking specialist... more of a 'with physical access and lots of time they can't stop you without encryption' type guy. Or poking at really obvious holes in the OS, you know, like if you can reach the task manager from the login screen? But a place like this... they're /definitely/ not gonna be vulnerable to that kind of exploit."
Leyanne Leyanne stacks up on door to the waiting androids. The bad news is, the androids know they're coming. The good news is, the androids know they're coming. She gives Corona a nod. "Shoulders and knees unless a rapid put-down is needed, let's give Orchid some salvage." She sniffs. "Waiting on the go."
Kotone Yamakawa The Data is recovered the plan is now laid they will storm the position of the androids and disable, destroy and hack what they can. Kotone will move to in cloaked. At this time over the comm would give the signal.

<<Now.>>

With that she'll leap at one of the drones jacking in using her dummy barrier and trying to brute force her way into it.

The signal is given and as this happens the Androids will open fire on the rest and Kotone might not avoid notice for long as they can follow the cables she's jacked in.

The Time to strike is now however they are going to do it? It's time to do it as Kotone said. Whatever you are going to do it's time to do it now.
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite stows Forgesweeper, but instead of going for one of her main holsters she reachs for the Manipulator on her belt and clicks something from the inventory. And draws a peculiar pistol made entirely out of plastic instead. Why? We'll get to that. "Yup. Somethin' like that." When the group finally makes their move she crouchs down, aims the gun at one of the androids, and fires. Nothing unusual about the gun shooting there.

The unorthadox design doesn't become noticable until the bullet hits its target and imbeds into the android. Because the bullet is actually made of a highly magnetic ore that's going to attract to the nearest metallic surface. Like the wall. Hopefully pinning down the android for someone else to get onto and hack into.

Being able to even fire such a highly magnetic object is why the gun is made of entirely non-metallic materials. And now you know.
Staren     Staren is ready with missiles! As drones and androids appear, he fills the far end of the corridor with fire and heat.
Leyanne Leyanne tracks across one target until she notices Corona's got the bugger. Her aim sweeps across the next - a pair, in fact, manning some kind of heavy gun emplacement. There's an enormous cacaphony from the direction of the rodent, shell casings being slung across the room from the gun's ejection port.

She aims at the centre-mass of the android manning the gun itself and sends several rounds of hi-ex towards it. The one loading gets single precision rounds aimed for knees and elbows, before the mouse moves on to her next target.

She's almost surgical, taking several hits from the inevitable counterfire as she calmly attempts to remove lower legs and arms from any unengaged androids... although of course, any that look to be drawing a bead on an ally or carrying heavy weapons get longer bursts aimed at their centre mass.
Reyes     A great deal of data's being copied directly to Reyes's own computers for further research - if there's anything useful here, the operators and cyber-docs of the Tomorrow Legion might be able to come up with more things to help people! Right?

Such is one reason for yoinking a quarantined copy of this virus. It clearly needs to be studied so whatever exploits it uses can be closed.

That doesn't take long, so he moves on with the rest of the party....

And Orchid gives a heck of a plan here. "Uhhhh... I can't do it the -easy- way like that... what are they armed with? I can maybe just charge them and shut them down..."
Orchid      Orchid isn't going in herself, but she is sending all 100 of her spider drones in with the others. Their job is to hold down the one Kotone has tackled, as well as to keep the others from moving their feet too far. Not the most fancy of approaches, but it'll help.
Kotone Yamakawa Corona's trick wouldn't work so well on modern androids due to the reduced use of metals in their creation. On old ones like these? It works smashingly as she pins several for either Kotone or someones else to hack there. With Orchid's help, she'll have an easier time of it Leyanne is watching her fire for the most part. She'll end up crippling rather than outright destroying several androids and there's a pair of legs which walks about for a little before it runs out of power and joins the rest of its' fallen form.

Reyes will also help with and manage to shut a few of them down and STaren does keep the worst back, with all and all when the dust settled there is nothing but damaged and fragged androids littering the hallway. There should be a fair bit of salvage but about half of the androids are pretty much scrap the good news is no one is hurt.

Reyes wouldn't find any direct Viral data as it's not on the computer he download he has some stuff that might let them piece get what it might do but that's it still there are other data and the docs in his world will have a field day as if there's one thing this world is good at? Is cybernetics to the point it has been noted they have a quality expected out of far more advanced Cisilziations.

The central room is nothing much to write home about walls of old Servers are of finding a sealed server room there's a control room here, but there's one thing clear there are footprints in the dust one of the monitors have been cleaned up as has it keyboard and its powered off looking about would find there's a lot of data here but disturbing,y as Kotone finds something.

"I think I found where the Viral data was... the drives. someone pulled them..."
Staren     "Geeze. Do you think the Americans will pay us for what's left of their old drones?" Staren wonders, surveying the mechanical carnage.

In they go. Someone else has already been there. "HOW? All the stuff was disarmed! And it's not like 'Oh, Multiverse stuff, someone just DID that', NO, we have a team, and WE couldn't do that! Someone had ALL the codes... were they FROM this facility, or...?"

Staren sighs after ranting for a bit, and relaxes slightly. "I don't suppose there's ANY chance that access logs are still intact on anything here?"
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite whistles sharply as she tucks the plastic pistol away again. "So someone's been down here before. Now we gotta track that down as well." To Staren she shrugs a little. "Coulda been an inside job."
Orchid      Orchid will take some of the androids to her new home later, see what she can make from them. But at the moment, she's looking around the central room, trying to estimate what she can about the person that took the drives. Height, how long ago, and such, can be determined from the footprints. "Well, there might be Staren, depending on how paranoid the person setting this up was... If there is a backup drive for the security logs that no one was told about."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "We'll have to sort it out and I doubt the Colonel is involved in this given he got us the codes. There's a chance it was the American Empire and someone might. There could still be some sensitive systems in them they might not want to be left rotting or out on the market. Kotone will get the access monitor booted up and will start to check.

"Maybe I'll let you know if I do find anything and the logs likely will. There might be more sublevels to this horror show too.
