Note     The world that Android 17 has arrived in - whether flying or warp gate, really doesn't matter - is very, very similar to the one that he hails from. It's Earth, but two centuries in the future. Perhaps he had the fortune of flying over the region that's been terraformed to greatly resemble Planet Namek. Or the regions largely dominated by the Majin race, filled with amusement parks and candy shops because they don't really need much else!

Many of the towering stone mushrooms of the arid regions have been knocked down for some reason. A number of strange, ramshackle military bases can be spotted all over the place populated ENTIRELY by Animal Folk - no humans in sight!

But the cities are still standing, Capsule Houses are still all the rage, and humans are still being humans. Just with a LOT more outdoor martial arts arenas similar to that on Papaya Island constructed in convenient spaces.

Perhaps he'd even notice how a lot of people now know how to fly. There seems to be an abundance of human martial artists who actually know what they're doing, far different from the Age he's from.

But however he might or might not roam, the coordinates Note gave lead north of the Holy Land of Korin - and Korin's Tower still pierces the heavens, the Guardian's Lookout still floats high above it.

North of Korin's tower, beyond the forests the Karinga people guard, dirt roads criss-cross a temperate, grassy region that was largely uninhabited in the past, but is now home to a number of small villages, with plenty of untouched forest and plains to go around despite numerous farms.

One of those villages, cradled in the shadow of a small mountain range, is Kokkara Village. A humble hamlet of several dozen Capsule Houses and more ordinary wooden buildings constructed around a central plaza with a fancy tranquil fountain!

The village is inhabited by a mixture of humans and animal folk, but mostly humans. Many of them are dressed like martial artists and are friendly enough to point visitors in the right direction... though they'll keep an eye on anyone who behaves suspiciously.

Specifically, the coordinates lead partway up one of the mountains to a leveled-off plateau, where one can find a scaled-up recreation of the World Martial Arts arena. Or rather, there are eight separate fighting arenas surrounded by the same kind of seating. Far, far more seats than the tiny village alone could possibly fill. The grounds are tended by monks, but it seems that anyone can just waltz in and have a bout if they like - so long as they don't wreck the place.

And so it is that a girl dressed in red and yellow, looking more cute than fearsome, is standing proud and impatiently in one of the arenas. She has a tail, and it's curling about antsily as she anxiously counts seconds, waiting, and trying to sense her opponent approaching!

    ... Given that it's Android 17, that's a completely useless effort though!
Sarracenia      As Note waits there, the sun seems to darken a bit as something large passes in front of it. A look up would reveal the something to be a capital-size wooden sailing ship, except where sails would be there are large wooden propellers spinning like helicopter blades to keep it aloft. It is rather ostentatious with a gold facade on the front of the ship of a young woman with a flowing dress and hair, and a small crown on her head.

Princess Sarracenia certainly didn't need to bring her flagship to such an event, but when one is a haughty princess one doesn't do things in a small way. As the airship flies over the arena it starts lowering a rope ladder, and on the end of it in much the same pose as the ship's facade is the princess herself.

The airship expertly flies over so that she can daintly step into the seating area. She reaches into her purse and pulls out...a parasol! A princess has to protect her fair skin after all. She looks around before taking a seat and crossing her legs at the ankles. "Am I early?"
Android 17     Android 17 does finally make his way into the world. It's both weird, but has that edge of adventure he likes. It's like looking into a mirror, but everything is off JUST a little. Well, okay, alot. This world is like Earth, except that all of Goku's dreams came true or something? Hmm...maybe someone made a weird wish on the Dragonballs? Hm. Who can say, but it's still neat to explore, none-the-less. Eventually, he lands, asking for directions because they were only clear to a point, and with a nod, he decides to simply walk the rest of the way there. Buying some fruit to eat on the trip up the cliff side of the plateau. Again, taking in the sights and simply just taking a moment to enjoy the moment he is currently in. Finally, getting to the top, he starts walking without a care in the world towards the twitchy looking Sayian seemingly waiting for someone, or something.

"Yo." He says, casually, as he gives a polite wave and walks towards her, a single hand coming out to offer a shake. "Either you're Note, or the directions I got were even worse than normal." He says, with that calm tone that he seems to always be at.

"If I had to guess, we'd have visitors to watch this right about..." a beat, as someone already shows up. "Now," He says, turning towards Sarracenia. "Hmm...maybe, I thought the rage was being fashionably late? Did that change in the Multiverse? I have to adjust my dramatic or well timed entrances then."
Gilgamesh      The King of Heroes is not content to sit with the rabble. And he *does* arrive fashionably late.

Gilgamesh arrives atop the Vimana. It is a vast triangular flying machine, green-winged, propelled by nothing visible at all. The golden machine glimmers in the sun as Gilgamesh pulls up above the stands. He's seated in its throne, with red cloth draped above the massive chair's backing. The arcing, curving, magical thing sits above the stands as Gilgamesh, dressed in a kingly black outfit with red and gold trim, opens the Gate of Babylon. A golden pitcher falls into his hand. In the other, a pair of golden cups. All of them are magical, and all of them are probably worth more than most people make in a lifetime.

Gilgamesh pours a sweet-looking liquid from the pitcher into one of the cups. The Vimana pulls up alongside Sarracenia's seating, and Gilgamesh's smile turns...suggestive. "Ah, now. This is a pleasure."

"Are you really happy with a seat like that? I have the best seat in the house, after all." He chuckles, and pats the Vimana.

It has one throne. He's sitting in it.

Then he turns his attention to Note and 17. He's considering them as combatants. He's considering what he's seen of the pair. Well, he's seen Seventeen's force fields up close. He's seen Note's...fistfighting, probably, at some point, he thinks, maybe?

It should, at least, be an entertaining way to pass the time.
Note     Note does look up as the airship arrives, but with only one girl coming down from it - one who doesn't seem like a martial artist at all - Note immediately decides to ignore her and go back to waiting for her opponent!

Who... eventually does walk into the stadium.

She can't sense him. But the movement is something she does pounce on, turning immediately to see him and...!

Their age disparity is immediately evident. She's far shorter and younger than he is, but that just makes her sprout a big grin as she realizes this guy might be a great challenge! "That's me!" She bounces forward and accepts the handshake in a hurry! A firm one that's not at all like the cutesy girl her physique would indicate. This youth's STRONG.

But one could easily tell that from the tail, couldn't they?

"I'm Note! Hope you like Kokkara Village!"

She does look at the visitors 17's talking about. The GIANT GOLDEN SHIP floating over in the stands gets a VERY good blinking at. "Uhhhhh."

The golden man seated on it is enough to hold her attention for a few seconds. The girl seems just mystified the longer she looks. And quickly shakes her head back and forth then slaps her own cheeks.

"Well, whatever. Don't mind any observers! Guess they heard us on the radio." She executes a swift backflip, and then shouts over to 17, "The rules are simple! The first to give up or get knocked unconscious loses." And of course, there's the implication of 'dont go too far, this is just a spar!' Because nobody cripples their opponents in a friendly exhibition.

On a lark she looks over at Gilgamesh and calls out, "Hey golden boy! You get to be the referee. That means calling match start for us!"

She takes a place at one part of this arena... and sucks in a breath.

With a rush of controlled energy, clearish-white Ki erupts around her, sending her clothes and hair rippling in the winds of her own power. This remains even as she drops into a combat stance. She's clearly ready to fight!
Android 17     Seventeen looks towards those who are deciding to watch, including giving Gilgamesh the right to ref and also start it. Will the power over the brawl go to his head? Will he too become KING OF THE RING?!

He's...pretty sure that he can't be that, so whatever. "Yeah, simple rules. I get it." he says back towards Note, and proceeds to walk to his side of the arena. She starts by getting all powered up, but Seventeen really doesn't start drawing anything out immediately, instead, he simply pulls his hands out of his pockets, and drops into a lose fighting stance. One hand held back, while the other hand is braced infront of him like a shield.

He doesn't give off any power, he doesn't seem to be powering up right now, though looks unsurprised by her surge. "Alright, I'm ready when you are. Oh and, good luck," the android says, still fairly happy go lucky about the whole situation.
Sarracenia      As Gilgamesh floats over in that way over the top throne ship, Sarracenia rolls her eyes a bit and huffs despite an impressed little smirk on her face. She leaps up gracefully and lands on his floating throne, then walks over to him casually. She makes a show of straightening and smoothing out her dress, then...sits on the arm of his throne instead of his lap and giggles in that way a child might when she thinks she has outwitted an adult. "King Gilgamesh. I wasn't expecting to see you here. Were you also looking for..." She flutters her eyelashes. "...entertainment?" she finishes, her voice a bit airy and sensual.

She blinks as she sees who the combatants are. "A small child and a preppy-looking teen are the combatants today? I was not expecting this, somehow." She shrugs, then reaches over and takes the second cup from Gilgamesh then holds it, obviously awaiting him filling it with whatever he is drinking.
Gilgamesh      "I'm everyone's referee," Gilgamesh replies to Note idly, "I *am* the rules." Again, he just sort of takes this as a given as Sarracenia climbs onto the ship. As Sarra sits down, Gilgamesh smirks at her. "I was."

As Note starts powering up, Gilgamesh is paying attention. He *looks* like he's just being lazy, but there's a calculating look in his visible eye (his other eye is bandaged in gold). That's Interesting. He's seen something like that before, hasn't he? Seventeen did something with similar-looking energy. But it wasn't like /that/, and Seventeen isn't doing it either. To Sarracenia, while he watches, he says, "When I was five I was still the strongest creature in the world. Even a child can kill a man. And I do not know what 'preppy' means."

The drink in his hand is...something /divine/. No, literally, divine. The smell of it is strong and potent and rich, and as he pours the golden liquid into her cup, she can tell the cup will not spill, even if she turns it upside-down, and that the mere taste of it will be...intoxicating. It's alcohol from the age of the gods, alcohol laced with magic and divinity, the sort of thing you /absolutely/ can't compare to. Even the finest wine cellar in the *world* couldn't match this. Only other divine alcohol ever could.

Then he drops the pitcher back into the Gate of Babylon, hooks his arm around Sarra's waist, and pulls her onto his lap. He whispers something in her ear, then turns to the challengers.

     The Gate opens.

A bolt of lightning fires out. A crack of thunder signals that Gilgamesh is ready for them to start.
Sarracenia      Sarracenia is pulled into Gilgamesh's lap, causing her to let out a cute squeak of surprise before she huffs and crosses her arms. Still, that little smirk remains. She's having fun, even if she is trying to act like a prim and proper princess as much to tease Gilgamesh as to preserve her pride. It is then that she notices her drink didn't spill...despite her basically holding the cup diagonally now. She blinks, then much like a child she giggles and turns it upside down, then spins it around a few times and laughs with delight. The whisper from Gilgamesh makes her smirk return, and she sits up and keeps her parasol above herself and the king. "It isn't really proper, you know." she replies to the whisper.

Then that bolt of lightning hits, and Sarracenia is so startled that she ends up clinging to Gilgamesh. "G-goodness! That was your starter pistol?!"
Note     Something about golden boy's answer rubs Note oddly, but she just sticks her tongue out without actually looking at him. Not that she's looking straight at 17 when she does so either. Oh well!

Upon focusing back on her opponent, she presses her lips together thinly. Trying to read him. To feel something. ANYTHING. "How can he be so calm that he doesn't even let out a RIPPLE of energy...?" Completely ignorant of what an 'Android' is, and why someone might have a number for their name, she shifts left and right, trying to feel out a solid path to approach the unreadable warrior.

For a fighter who's relied on that heavily, not being able to sense her opponent is making her visibly frustrated and anxious. Android 17 will probably have no trouble seeing this playing across her face!

But the longer this continues, the more her confusion turns to hints of anger. Clenched teeth. And even tighter fists!

When the lightning strikes, her leg muscles fire like there's no tomorrow, and she's sent sailing a foot off the air for Android 17, aiming the most straightforward punch straight for his chest! An opening blow that will chain into a series of knifehand thrusts and chops and precision kicks if he can't shake her off!

Given she's smaller than him, she's actually flying to maintain height. It's pretty clear who has an advantage in sheer size here!
Gilgamesh      "Fuhuhahahaha!" Gilgamesh's fingers run through his hair. "Proper? I am the King who rules all that is. I am the one who decides what is proper."

"That is the lightning of the gods, lightning without form, lightning from the sky itself collected and kept within my grandiose treasury." Gilgamesh holds her a bit closer as she clings to him, a wry smile on his face. "An appropriate start, don't you think? Dramatic. Worthy of the King of Heroes."

"Besides," he adds, "I like to show off my treasures. My wealth is beyond measure, and even I don't remember all of it, so whenever I have one of them in my thoughts, I feel compelled to use it."

Note flies forward, a foot off the air. Gilgamesh touches his chin thoughtfully. His red eyes gleam. He's looking for some treasure he might identify, some wealth that permits that, something valuable. When it becomes obvious that she can do it of her own power, he seems interested.

"Bare hands combat does have a certain appeal," he says to Sarracenia, "There's something entertaining about breaking another beneath your heel. Something viscerally pleasant about punching something in the face."

"I already know what he can do," Gilgamesh adds, tilting his head at Seventeen, "Barriers. Fairly sturdy ones. He spread them quite far to protect some worthless mongrels from my justice. It was mostly in vain, but seeing them concentrated should be...a treat."
Android 17     Seventeen is perfectly calm in the swing of things, he closely watches his opponet. The building frustraition and anger is odd, he can't figure this out, but instead notes it for later. The lightning strikes, and she is already on the offensive. As quickly, if not slightly faster, than her dash, he is already moving. The hand comes up, aiming to catch her swing, while he attempts to change her momentum by swinging his own weight to attempt to spin, aiming to try and place her flat on her back.

The Android does not simply stay still, her repeated strikes, assuming they would come and she would not stay on the ground, cause the Android to block left and right, avoiding or outright blocking attacks. The blows connect, but those arms quickly intercept each one, aiming to limit their blows to a minimum. Right now, it is apparent that he's fighting defensively. Maybe he's attempting to guage her strength, or maybe he's looking to frustraite her more.

Seventeen also ignores the banter of the observer seats. He can clearly hear the conversation, he does not feel the need to correct them.

"You're angry. That's going to be a real problem when you decide to take this seriously."
Sarracenia      Sarracenia realizes she is clinging rather close to Gilgamesh, but it would be both embarrassing for her and insulting to him for her to push back now. She just huffs softly and watches the combat in progress. "I personally have always preferred the awe, destruction, and chaotic beauty of an armed, super-powered conflict. But, skillful hand to hand combat is still something to enjoy. Simply the hours of work that must have gone into their training, the discipline it must take to study an opponent's moves and counter them. I can appreciate it, even if there are no explosions."

The princess isn't watching nearly as closely as Gilgamesh is. She may not even have the powers of observation to truly appreciate their speed and accuracy. "Anger is only a problem if you let it get away from you!" she calls out to the fighters, even as she remains seated across Gilgamesh's lap with her arms looped around his neck.
Gilgamesh      "I didn't say I thought unarmed combat was superior," Gilgamesh points out, his fingers tapping against her stomach, "I said that there is a certain beauty to it. Especially when you can crush a man's skull with one hand, or shatter his spine with a kick. I am as strong as a star from heaven."

He licks his lips and glances down at her. "Occasionally I enjoy using that strength."

"But all the treasures in the world are mine, so I only fight with my bare hands when it would please me."

As Seventeen starts fighting defensively, Gilgamesh's attention switches to him. He's seen what Seventeen can do, but he wants to see more. This is, in fact, a fight that he doesn't usually indulge in. He likes hand-to-hand fighters. Yang's one, and he's seen what *she* can do with her power, and Seventeen's abilities seem...not /identical/, but similar in nature, if not in kind.

And, of course, there's the sense that Gilgamesh is considering how powerful they are the whole time...as if seeking something...worthy.
Note     Having tuned out both Gilgamesh and Sarracenia, all of Note's world is now focused entirely on Android 17! Whose face she is doing her best to stay up close to! Her original punch is quickly caught and redirected, with her nearly slamming into the ground behind Seventeen... but she recovers with a flip, and goes back on the assault!

It's a fighting style that emphasizes speed, grace, and precision over raw power... a style that seems ill-suited to her actual temperament, if the anger Android 17's pointing out is anything to go by.

And as it turns out, he's able to easily block her every blow. No matter how much effort she puts into them, he's simply SO MUCH FASTER. Even as she ramps up the speed and force, getting a feel for what he's capable of...

Not a single blow gets through!

And he's not fighting back. The girl's teeth grind fiercely at this. "You better not be going easy on me because I'm a girl!" She warns. Probably the only one he's going to get. "This is far from my best!"

Nevertheless, as the final blow fails to connect and he doesn't seem inclined to actually counterattack seriously, she springs backwards with a gust of flight and skids across the arena to rethink her strategy. Take a deep breath.

Despite all the childishness displayed so far, she DOES respond to that advice. Seems this girl's not JUST a hothead! ... Probably. ".... How... how are you handling all of these blows without even letting out a shred of your aura...?! I can't sense what you're capable of... makes it hard to pace myself and not go too far, y'know!"
Android 17     There is a moment where Android 17 doesn't quite know what she's talking about. It had been a while sense he tangled with someone from his own world...or something close to it. Then he laughs a little, but it's not directed at her plight, though it might be taken that way. "Oh, I'm sorry, that's on me. I assumed that you knew the reason why, it is because I am an Android, that you can not sense my power. We don't have aura, or ki, or power levels. Our augmentations do not give us such power, but we make up for it in other ways."

However, he had seen enough of her strength. There is a shift in his stance, as he moves from the defensive hand back, and the hand moved into a striking formation going forward.

"A piece of advice. Do not get frustraited at something you do not understand, or at least, hide it better. You give away your actions and can easily be drawn into traps." He says, before cocking a half glance towards the stands. "Anger can be a power, but relying on it makes it a liability," he says to the Princess, before focusing back on Note.

There is a moment of calm, before he dashes forward. However, it's very hard to follow, Seventeen is /EXTREMELY/ fast. Also, he seems to be going RIGHT for Note, on a direct clash, before there is a flicker. He was gone, but instead, he just changed his direction slightly, aiming to come from the right side, aiming to slip under her guard and attempt a powerful blow to her stomach.

He wasn't done, knowing she could take it based on their exchange, as he whips out again, the blow to the stomach was to try and force her to recoil defensively, and he attempted to take advantage of this by moving rapidly. Once more he comes at her from behind, aiming to bait her into turning.

Instead, he changes at the last second, aiming high, and this time aiming to hammer strike her with both hands across her side. Once more, he hasn't done much to break a sweat, instead focusing on just using his advantages to his favor, like any other sensible fighter would.
Sarracenia      That drumming on her belly makes Sarracenia giggle a bit. "Only occasionally?" she teases, then finally takes a sip of the drink he poured for her before the match started. She flinches in surprise at the taste, then just...kind of stares at the drink, wide-eyed. "What...what in world...?" She sniffs of it, then takes another experimental sip and shivers this time. "What sort of trick is this!" she exclaims. "There is no way something can taste so...so..." She blinks, then looks at Gilgamesh and quietly says, "...divine..?"

She apparently didn't think he was actually a god, or at least not a real god. So many beings run around saying they are gods without being able to back it up. For a moment she doesn't register that she received a response from one of the fighters, but when she does she blinks before looking back to the arena. "Goodness! How is he moving so fast?"
Gilgamesh      "No matter if it's weapons or wine; my treasury contains only the finest," Gilgamesh tells her. He waves his hand at the other part. "Crushing skulls with your bare hands is entertaining, but variety is part of pleasure. If you do the same thing over and over, you find yourself...weary. You grow tired. And I have so many treasures that it's far more fun to show them off than it is to simply break men over my knee. That was something I did as a child, when I had fewer wonders to draw upon."

"Drink all you like. The pitcher is ever-flowing."

Gilgamesh glances at Seventeen, watching him move. "Some inner power," he says offhandedly, "Something that can be shaped, I suppose. I've seen him use it before. Probably strengthening himself with it. Perhaps he's simply naturally swift, but I would imagine that."
Note     There's absolutely NOTHING Note can do. She's clearly listening to his advice! But then... he basically disappears, causing her to gasp and flinch on the defensive.

Not that it helps. Not since when she finally gets a fix on him, he's RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. With a WHUMPF the punch hits its mark against the nearly defenseless Saiyan-blooded girl. She staggers back, completely losing her composure and breath. With a rush of pure willpower she clamps down on the pain and regains her footing, but it's too late!

Unable to sense where Android 17 is, she defends from the wrong angle and gets slammed hard in the side.

The girl's sent flying across the arena, bouncing and scrabbling. At first, it's a bit ragdollish, but she slams her hands and knees into the ground and rights herself after a loooong scrape and flips to her feet, coughing and spluttering.

"Hehe....HEHEHEHEHE.... THIS IS GREAT! I think you might be WAY stronger than me." Some people might be PISSED off at getting beaten so badly, but Note seems ENTHUSED by it. Is she some kind of masochist?

Nope. Just a martial artist. And a human with some Saiyan in her. Perhaps she inherited a little more than most.

There wasn't anyone else with a tail in this village that anyone could see, after all.

"Alright then..." She holds a hand up asking for a pause... and takes it to reach into her vest and unclip what seem to be bags. Bags that HIT THE GROUND WITH LOUD THUNKS as she tosses them out. She also takes off both boots and the blue cloth bracers. THUNK THUNK THUNK.

"You don't know just HOW excited I am to be able to do THIS!" The girl deepens her stance, sucks in a breath...!

For those who can feel it, her energy SURGES insanely. If she was a candle before, it's now a blazing bonfire. A bonfire that's quite visible, as golden energy whirls up around her with a *CRACKLE-SIZZLE*. The ground shakes and some of the floor tiles crack under her. With a final KRAKOOM of wild energy, the golden energy engulfs Note. Black and smooth hair raises up, shifts into a striking gold shade, and splits into spiky locks. At the same time her eyes go from simple black to a vivid greenish hue. The aura that blazes around her lets out a constant whooshing noise, far more violent and uncontrolled than what she was using before.

This is a far cry from the honed and controlled version that Android 17 might be more familiar with. But there's no mistaking it. This girl's a Super Saiyan, alright.

And isntead of going on the offensive with more fisticuffs, she extends both hands and unleashes a flurry of simultaneous Ki orbs from her fingers. bendy blasts that swoop in from different angles to try and overwhelm Android 17!
Android 17     "Huh, so it is hereditary," Seventeen says, perhaps to himself, but loud enough to hear. He switches stances, once more back to the defensive because he can feel the power in the air, the intensity that is about to come. Not that he can't ACTUALLY feel the energy, more he can tell the situation has changed. He's measuring, thinking a few moves ahead, and attempting to get a better measure of his opponet. Of course, the weighted clothing trick. Not bad, probably more effective on the Saiyan.

Then comes the gold aura. Yeah, he figured that is what she was talking about from before, he was aware of this transformation, having seen it several times before. He does not look surprised, infact, he just gets ready.

Balls come, energy spheres attempt to get the better of him. The initial ones are blocked, crossing both arms as he weathers the blows. Some of them singe his clothing, maybe for a moment he is being pushed back.

Then it comes, the next set are swatted away with a chop. He starts moving, aiming to try and keep being a moving target, aiming to make it harder to hit.

However, she gets smarter, aiming to try and overwhelm him with multiple angles and try and surround him...

He waits, right until they're all about to hit before a green shield extends in all directions. The Android Barrier saves him from the worst of the attacks, and as the smoke clears he stands. The barrier flickers, as he starts deciding to play this a bit more seriously.

His own aura starts, but still no actual power can be felt from it. The white flickering of his own power starts, but unlike her, his is completely mute. There is a rumble from his voice, as he focuses the power...and then he's gone again.

Now he's almost like a blur, aiming to reach the distance between them and aims a leg for her own, aiming to off balance her before spinning to aim both legs into the back of the Saiyan, should she be swept off her feat.

However, as she goes up, or manages to block, he brings his right hand around, bracing with his left, as a blast of his own flies at her, overflowing with electrical energy as well as the blast itself, aiming to try and sweep her away in his own blast.

There is a smile, starting to finally get into this a bit more. "Now things are getting interesting."
Sarracenia      Now the fight is something Sarracenia can truly enjoy! First Note shows off a bit with those weights, even if it wasn't really her intent. Then, she transforms into Super Saiyan mode! That draws a surprised and excited 'oooh!' from Sarracenia, who lets go of Gilgamesh and leans forward to see just a bit better.

And then the best part. Explosions! And more impressively fast combat! She laughs excitedly and claps. "Look at them go! If we had a coliseum in the Sundew Kingdom, this sort of spectacle would certainly be worthy of it!"
Note     Rats! All of her shots are just wasted Ki, smashing into Android 17's unique and excellent guard. That barrier's not one to be underestimated. "What?!" But it still takes Note by surprise! When he shrugs all of that off she's quite genuinely shocked!

But not so shocked that she can't deal with the incoming shot! Bracing herself with a deeper stance, Note rises to the challenge and reaches out with both hands, palms facing the blast!

The impact drives her backwards foot after foot as she struggles with it, hissing and grunting.

It's absolutely clear who has the edge in this fight. And yet...! "Hyargh!" The Super Saiyan gains enough leverage finally, and diverts the blast up into the sky! The motion leaves her staggering akwardly a few feet backwards though...

That, and her palms are fairly singed

Wild and pleased DELIGHT plays all over her face as she doubles down back into her stance. "You bet it is! Get ready some of my best!"

And just like that, she carves a lightning-swift path straight to Android 17.

This time she's holding essentially nothing back! An onslaught of chops, knife-hand thrusts, and spinning kicks to wear down Android 17's defenses ensues!
Android 17     Note is coming all out on him now.

The barrier fades, focusing his energy along his hands as Note comes in. She's outmatched, but at the same time she's pushing herself. That's fine, because it's what he'd do in her position. It's not that someone who is stronger than you is something to be upset about, it means you still have room to grow, and become stronger. It was that thrill that helped push him to an extent.

She blasts down, but Seventeen wasn't going to wait this time, rushing up through the sky to meet her. When their hits collide, the air quakes. Shockwaves from their hits fill the sky, breaking chunks of the arena, shaking the earth, probably causing a scene to cause people to start watching.

The two exchange blows, fists and feet meet each other. Note gets blows through his defense and counter offense, causing the Android to be knocked back.

However, there was a turn, a moment where Seventeen turned up the heat. He comes in, aiming to swing that fist under her guard again, aiming to bait her to make her think she might have guessed his plan, only to use his speed to dash around her, looking like he teleported to right behind her...the ONLY time he has done this, the entire fight...aiming to send both hands in a curled up balled up fist to strike the back of the Saiyan, and smash her towards the earth.

Several shots of Ki fly down, restraining the Ki enough so that he doesn't hurt her, but enough to push the fight.
Note     If it wasn't for the fact that Kokkara's organizers are going to LOVE the footage of this match (captured by hi speed cameras, of course), they'd be furious at the way the arena's cracking to bits and pieces with every blow the two warriors exchange!

Note, though, isn't giving a darned about this. She's entirely lost in the thrill of the fight! With each thundering blow her grin gets wider and wilder and she puts more and more effort into the assault!

Not that said assault gets too far. What's a series of flashes and blurry motions to onlookers is an intricate dance of back and forth swings and blocks. Now that she's transformed, Note can indeed keep up with Seventeen and not give an inch in their exchange!

But neither is she gaining any. And while beads of sweat of perspiration are starting to roll down her face... are her eyes deceiving her?

Is this black haired young man not even breathing hard?!

Just as she's beginning to think about this oddity, ZIP and he's gone! She flails a blow through the air, utterly thrown off-balance by this display, and then KABAM!

She hits the ground with thunderous impact, smashing an arena tile into pieces and cratering into the dirt beneath!

    "Nhhhhhhhhhhhhh...!!!"

The impact was enough that she very easily could've been knocked out by it. And yet the youth grits her teeth and clings to conscious, keeps her power flowing. Even as shots rain down at her, stinging fiercely as they rip at her clothes. She endures and WILLS her rattled bones to keep going.

There's no way she can fight for TOO long like this. That wildly raging aura is an easy indicator that she has no idea how to really CONTROL this transformation, and just sustaining it's wasting a LOT of energy...

But for now, she's still got enough to spin around and KICK one of Android 17's blasts back at him - if a bit haphazardly. She spinning backflips out of the hole and back onto the arena ground, breathing heavily!

    "Wow. You're... really... something...! But..."

While taking a few hard breaths, the tailed youth steels herself, deepens her stance, and reaches out with both hands, one atop the other, palms open opposing each other and aimed straight at Android 17!

He's bound to have seen this posture before now. But definitely not performed by a girl.

She draws these cupped palms down towards her right hip, keeping a space between them! "Kaaaaaaaa Meeeeeee Haaaaaaa Meeeeeee...."

It can't be... but it is. The signature Turtle School technique shimmers to life between her palms, spears of brilliant blue-white Ki radiating from the barely-contained sphere that roils to life and swiftly grows in her grasp! The whole arena's bathed in a freakish outpouring of light as she thrusts those hands out at Android 17--

    "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"

He might be wondering, by now, 'what the hell has been going on in this world?' but focusing on the bulbous-headed beam, easily as big around as Note is tall, that's on a path straight for him? That's a MUCH better idea!
Android 17     The redirected blast flies at the Android, forcing him to use both hands to deflect the blast...and of course causing him to /stop/ firing blasts down. His hands, sizzling for a moment at having to cancel out his own energy, causes him to shake the numbless out of his finger tips. Of course, the posture was not unknown to him...there was a moment of realization, and a smirk on his face. Well, he had always wanted to try something, and now it was a good chance for that.

This would likely be the end of the fight, and while she charged, he crouched down, getting ready. Those observing can see that he's tensing up, like a spring waiting to be released. That would be crazy, he's going to challenge her attack head on?

    She fires, and he charges.

However, as the wave of energy would hit, the Android barrier activates. The wave of energy crashes over it, causing it to split energy everywhere. It was like a large rock in a stream, as the ki flowed around him like water. However, closer and closer he got, slowed down only a little as finally he reaches the source, the barrier lowers, as the energy hits his body instead, but it was too late.

He exchanges a hit on his unbarried body, already blunted by the barrier, to get an attack on Note.

Hopefully taking advantage of her exertion, aiming to spin around her body, and aiming a kick for the side of her head. Success or failure of that attack, Seventeen floats back down to the ground, his body showing signs of injury, but still very much able to continue. Of course, he'd need a new shirt, because that thing is /gone/ at this point.
Sarracenia      Sarracenia is amazed at the exchange of firepower and by 17's brazen charge right into the beam of energy. "Why wouldn't he simply dodge it?!" she exclaims as she watches, on the edge of her seat now. Which is actually her seated on Gil's knees now. "Isn't this exciting, Gilgamesh?" she exclaims delightedly as she waits to see who comes out on top of this clash.
Gilgamesh      "It's intriguing."

Gilgamesh doesn't use the word *exciting* often. He seems like the kind of person for whom *excitement* is a rare thing. Sat atop the Vimana, hovering there above the stands so that the two of them can get a better view, Gilgamesh leans slightly on the armrest of its golden control throne with an air of imperiousness. His other hand goes around Sarra's waist, tugging her back against his chest as she leans off the edge of his knees. This is possibly because he wants her close, or possibly because people sitting on your knees is super uncomfortable.

     Actually it *might* be both.

"Of course, gold is the best color, so it's no surprise that someone glowing gold becomes more powerful." Gilgamesh takes a sip from his cup. "I wasn't expecting them both to be able to throw energy, but it's..."

     "It's worth watching, I suppose."

The Vimana moves around, actively giving the two observers better points of view, and occasionally safer ones. It moves very fast - 17 and Note don't have to worry about one of their shots missing and hitting the onlookers, because the thing just sort of shoots off at a moment's thought, with no visible means of control.

"What makes it exciting for you? What is it that's exciting you? Be specific."
Note     The smirk's something Note can barely make out. There's also something about it that sends a SHIVER up her spine and causes her to put a little more effort into showing this guy what she's made out of!

Not that it helps. As she's pouring her energy into the attack and quite well rooted in place, she can EASILY see the way that he's splitting it down the middle and parting it like a boat roaring its way upstream with FAR too much force!

So she digs deeper and pours out more and more into the sustained stream, hoping to overwhelm that barrier and send him sprawling!

Yeeeeaaaaaaah. No luck there. Despite all of her efforts, he soon emerges right in front of her face, wreathed in the luminous Ki--

And so she releases the flowing power to try and kick him away!

And in another display of freakish speed, she gets kicked away herself. The blow's solid and telling. With a choked-off grunt she goes sailing across the arena, skids along the tiles, off the edge, and then slams into the side of the block-tiles that make up the arena next to this one. HARD. *CRUNCH*

That, though, is the sound of the ground breaking. Not Note, thankfully.

But she drops to the ground nevertheless, quivering and struggling. Despite a will to continue though, her body's giving out. The golden glow sputters and dies, which means that the emerald gleam in her eyes vanishes, black eyes returning... and spiky golden hair quickly loses its luster and fades back to silky and straight black strands. Her ponytail no longer looks like a lethal weapon!

"Uunnnnghhhh." She just collapses front-down on the ground, limbs splayed out and tail sort of sticking up into the air in a lopsided and unlady-like fashion.

    "I giiiiiiiiiiiiive. Owwwwww..."
Android 17     There was a cross counter of kicks. Staggering back from the blow, Seventeen takes a moment to shake of the blow. It had landed home, but it looks like his hit harder.

Rubbing his right arm for a moment, he walks towards Note, to offer a hand up. "Good fight." he says, with a smile on his face. Maybe it wasn't all he could do, but sometimes you're in the role as teacher, and not student or equal. After a moment, he looks sideways towards the two royals. Then the arena, with a small smirk.

"Well, I suppose that's going to cause some trouble with the people in town."
Note     "Ow ow ow.." Note does reach out to accept the offered hand with one of her own. The other is rubbing one bit of her body after another as she woozily stands.... then dusts herself off. Her own clothes are torn in places, but nothing too serious. She certainly hasn't lost her entire top like Android 17 did!

A fact that has her blinking a bit. All that effort, and all she managed to do was wreck his shirt...?!

"It was-- ah, don't worry... don't think anyone even half as strong as you's ever fought here. Anyone who can beat ME down's going to be the talk of the town, haha!" She laughs goodnaturedly at this even as she flinches at another sore spot that needs rubbing.

"Where did you come from, really? How did you get this strong? Nobody around here comes close to me and you just outdid me at EVERYTHING!"
Android 17     "Well, having to guess at what I am looking at, and what I have experienced here. I can't say with CERTANTY..." He starts, thinking for a moment. "But this is likely a Earth from our future, or a future it could be. Multiverse is a weird place," He comments, and looks back towards Note. "Given you are a sayin, you use the attack from the Old Turtle Hermit, and weighted clothing. Also, the tower is still there. Hmm...I wonder who I would see at the top..?"

He shrugs for a moment. "You are pretty strong, but there are those stronger than me from where I come from, and from your past."
Note     "Nnnnn..... not the first time someone said 'maybe future.' Guess they're right. Not the first time someone's said Saiyan either... but I still don't know what it means! If you mean the tail... I dunno. It's weird. My parents don't have tails. ... I'm not the only one with one. Forte down at the farm has one, and she tells me there's this boy my age in another one of the Troublemaker Education Policy villages..." She's apparently never seen this boy, from the sound of it.

"You're right though! KameHameHa Wave's a New Turtle School technique! There's a few other styles taught around here, but Kokkara's mostly New Turtle School."

Thenh earing about the tower... she looks off into the distance. "Haven't climbed it. That's a trial the most talented students get to take, but the Red Pants Army made so much trouble for the Karinga Tribe that climbing got called off for another few months." Though, to be honest, she could obviously fly up there.

These trials clearly didn't have young Saiyans in mind.

"Heard there's a wise and powerful guy who lives up at the top of the tower, above the clouds. Dende, they call him."
Sarracenia      Sarracenia suddenly leaps up from Gilgamesh's lap and reaches into her purse. She pulls, and from it emerges...a hammer as tall as she is and with a thick, solid head that must weigh much more than she does. "Okay, that is enough! You have by proxy given me permission to strike you for your insolence! Prepare yourself!"

This might seem rather random to Gilgamesh and Note, but there is hardly a beat before Sarracenia leaps from Gilgamesh's throne ship and comes hurtling toward Seventeen. "Kyaaaaaaaah!!" She goes into a twirl as she comes flying toward him, and is a deadly spinning top by the time she reaches the android. Note might be in danger of getting hit too, though she certainly isn't the target of the apparently unprovoked attack.
Android 17     "It's a long explanation, but the original Saiyans were from space I guess? They moved here. They lived and had children with humans. I guess their blood mixed over time. They all have tails, can turn gold, and such," Seventeen says towards Note, but then he turns quickly to face Sarracenia as she makes her intent clear. He doesn't look surprised, but instead, pushes Note out of the way so she would avoid being struck...and causing a bigger scene.

The Hammer is swung, but Seventeen makes no effort to avoid it, though he blocks because he's not going to take critical damage over someone's hurt Ego. He is sent backwards, forced to flip in the air and slid across the earth, leaving tracks as he finally comes to a stop.

"You good now, or do you wana beat the plebians some more there Princess?"
Note     Saiyans are aliens? Huh?

Note's a bit too young to figure out the ins and outs of 'children with humans' though, especially because of SARRACENIA INTERRUPT!

With a quizzical gasp she turns Sarracenia's way on pure reflex, but as weakened as she is... it's not enough to DO anything. She can only FLINCH as Android 17 gets knocked flying.

"That's a cheap shot!" shouts the youth, hands cupped to her mouth, fuming at Sarracenia barging in like this!
Sarracenia      Sarracenia is surprised to see Android 17 actually protect Note, and after her intial attack she brings the hammer up to rest on her shoulder. Seventeen's snark makes her eyebrow twitch, but she takes a deep breath before letting it out slowly. "Truthfully...I would love to beat this particular pleb some more, but you have shown honor despite your words. I believe that is enough for now."

She looks at Note after that. "It was not a cheap shot! I clearly announced my intent, and he had plenty of time to defend himself! If you had heard how he was speaking of me on the comm you would surely agree with my course of action!" she says, nose upturned slightly. "And while he has still not apologized, I suspect he is not inclined to such behavior." With that, she walks regally back to the sidelines...but not back up into the stands. Seems she is ready to go after 17 again if he provokes her.
Android 17     "I will grant her that, she did announce her attack before she even moved to attack. Also, I still do not know where this hostility is coming from." Seventeen says, but in a way that says 'I know what I did, and I'm not sorry.'

"You see, I'm not much for those who swing authority around like they're entitled to to respect, love, or even something better without earning it themselves."
Note     "Cheap shot!" Note repeats defiantly, stormily folding her arms. "Still came out of nowhere after that big fight!" Note starts to form her own sort of smirk, as her attitude reasserts itself. "Going at him right after a fight's no way for a warrior to act."

The smirk swiftly turns into blowing a disgusted raspberry at Sarracenia!
Sarracenia      Sarracenia is baffled by the both of them, and that translates into an angry and frustrated sound! "I am a princess! A -Princess-! That title is -supposed- to afford at least some amount of courtesy on almost any world! And besides all that, none of the other princesses in my world had to do ANYTHING to earn the respect, love, or something better! They somehow earned it just by being princesses!" Of course, that's not quite true, but that's how it seems to her.

And then Note raspberries, and Sarracenia stiffens. "You little..." She raspberries right back, then huffs. "He just admitted it was not out of nowhere, and he wasn't even trying that hard during the fight!"
Android 17     Seventeen looks between the two, but picks up on something. Backing away, he decides to leave the space between the two of them empty.

"Nobody gets respect, love, or anything by just being. Everyone earns it. Nobody earns it by being entitled, however."
