Kotone Yamakawa Earth
Ameri-Russio Alliance
Hawaii - Kahului  Harbour

More intel had come down, Kotone and Heller had gone digging through the Alliances archives and discovered that there were four old American ships three destroyers the  Stockdale DDG-106,  Gridley   DDG-101 and Kidd DDG-100.  Finally to top it off the Missile Cruiser Gettysburg CG-64.  While old they had been updated to world war three fits and to be honest? It's cheaper to refit warships than it is to lay down new hulls.

The alliance wanted the ships retaken, and the local criminal element captured if possible but the big target is getting those ships back. Also given there may be old American military information of value on those vessel computer systems.

It was evening now and Kotone was already in the water wearing her stealth gear and was going to be going to be boarding the Kidd to help retake that ship, she already had her plan thanks to Heller the deck plans from the third world war was issued to the team some days before for their planning. So the plan is to pick one of the ships and board, seize control and deal with the pirate gang that have almost gor these vessels fully online. The crew is heavily armoured though after the hit on the power plant they are on alert and a few old marine ARMED suits are seen on the docks near the vessel even as crew work to try and finish them up so they can pull out to the open sea. The time to act is now.
Ryouma Sakamoto     There was a plan. Of course Ryouma had a plan.

    It wasn't anything complicated, either.

The conditions at the harbor were such: there are three destroyers and one missile cruiser. Of course, the harbor is full of armed criminals too, but in the grand scheme of things, the ships are the prize. It's where they pooled their resources. It's their trump card. And it's their firepower.

Ignoring the ships would be bad. Desperate criminals might just point all the cannons at the harbor and cause untold damage. Sustained fire from them would add up through the course of a drawn out engagement. And bodies would pile up.

And so the plan, as laid out, is simple: either the ships' weapons need to be disabled, or the ships need to be turned against the criminals wholesale as a threat to make them surrender.

The idea is to not need to fight at all, beyond what it takes to take the ships. Subtle is better, but it's not the end of the world if a few gunshots or explosions go off. Just try to keep it contained.

The hardest part, by far, is the fact there are four ships total. In an ideal world, all four need to be taken together. Or taken and disabled in an acceptable, threatening mix. That means some level of splitting up and coordinating.

Ryouma and Oryou volunteer to take one of the three destroyers. He recommends that the team's best hacker and/or tech genius handle the missile cruiser.

For their own part, Oryou is carrying Ryouma in a princess-carry, hovering out of sight near the surface of the water. Seems their destroyer of choice is GRIDLEY. Entry doesn't have to be complicated.

They just wait for a chance to fly onto the deck between patrols, which might or might not involve Oryou punching a dude clean overboard into the water if needed. Then they'll wing it from there.
Orchid      <<This is Orchid, and I'll be your spotter for this mission.>>

The message goes out over frequency chosen, encrypted to only be understandable by her allies for this mission.

<<As a quick recap, our objectives are first, to keep these things from being used to hurt people, second, take the ships in salvageable state, and third, a per-head bounty for live captures. Now I'm not telling you to not bring the big bang bangs, but there's reason to be careful in how you use them.>>

As for the reploid herself, she's hidden about a block away from the harbor, having set up her gear for the part of the operation she's best at: up to the moment intel and hacking.

Given the chance that there are pieces of information warfare active on the ships, Orchid is being extremely careful. At the same time, she has come loaded for bear, as it were. She's brought two computers, one simple one that she'll be using to look up information, and keep tract of her allies' location and progress. The second one is much more powerful. She's doing this double-fisted, looking at two screens, each of her two hands on a different keyboard. And these are special hands, with long, slender fingers. Twelve fingers. On each hand.
Staren     Ships. Warships. That they're hoping not to fight, but just in case, Staren has the Star Hawk waiting nearby. It's equipped light this time, with missile pods but no FAST packs. Maybe Staren doesn't think the full armament is necessary... or he's wary about spending another 200,000 credits on missiles.

Staren himself is with Kotone in the water. None of his gear is really good for... swimming... but he's attached some underwater movement equipment to his armor that, while not really suitable for high-speed water fighting, should at least get him to one of the ships quietly. Naturally, his armor's sensors are synced up to the available tacnets too.
Alexis Maaka     If someone had a plan, Maaka was willing to hear it.

She would insert and capture one of the other ships, using a one-man DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle) she approaches the second vessel while waiting for spotlights to pass her by. The cyborg's got scuba gear over her sneaking suit, an O2 mask and tank over her back as well as flippers. She releases the DPV and lets it sink as she begins to climb up the side of the vessel, until she hops aboard.

An unfortunate guard might be hurled over the side, as Maaka dumps the oxygen gear and draws a 6mm submachine gun. <<Durandal here. I'm aboard the Kidd.>>

Part of the mission is simple, stow a network beacon Orchid had given her in the network section of the ship after clearing the Kidd of pirates. Given the bounty is for live-captures, Maaka will need to adjust tactics a bit, depending on how augmented these gentlemen happen to be.
August Kohler August Kohler needed a way to exert some of his frustration and lack of sleep, and fighting pirates was an excellent means of doing so. Armed with a knife, a pistol, and most importantly, a mirrored bracelet, the redhead is dressed in a hoodie as he starts moving through the docks. He starts out trying to slip past crates and such, until he's close enough to the Stockdale to see if it has a ramp for boarding, or is low enough to parkour up. Once he can do that, he abandons any pretenses of stealth and moves to climb up onto the ship if the ARMED suits don't stop him.

As soon as he's actually spotted, probably yelled at and aimed at with guns, the mirrored bracelet is brought up to eye-level. "Persona."

In a flash of clearly supernatural blue sparks, the Tin Soldier manifests, a robot soldier covered in burn-scars with a gun for a leg, as August would make sure he has some amount of cover from anyone who'd shoot him. "Alright, everyone get overboard or get set on fire! I won't warn you twice." This is punctuated with a burst of flames from the gun-leg, to prove it's a dangerous weapon.

Ah, August is probably going to get shot a lot. But hey, he's the decoy! He can handle it. Maybe.
Alexis Underwater seems to be the way to go at first.

Ever see someone go diving WITHOUT scuba gear? Well now you have because that is exactly what Alexis is doing. Might look weird to the others but as far as Pokemon go this is fairly tame. One of the advantages of the Dive technique and a Water type's manipulation of it's element. Which is why she's riding on the back of her Swampert as he's cruising into the harbor at what should be deep enough to not be spotted from atop the ships. Part of the reason she was using him is that he wasn't a superiorly fast swimmer, meaning there wouldn't be a wake to ripple to the surface and give them away.

The others are already starting to hit the other warships. That ought to get the pirates' attention, make the way a little clearer to get to the bigger missile cruiser unnoticed.
Kotone Yamakawa The Gridley

Ryouma and Oryou are going after the Gridley it's a fairly solid choice. Kotone's world has no magic, few other than a handful of people who travelled the multiverse had any real experience with it. These Pirates? Totally did not have experience. Thus the pair is able to pick off several guards one going nicely into the water with a splash in the night. They would have time to start moving but the pirates were not stupid they would be quick to act.

The Kidd

Maaka would for one notice as she gets aboard the pirates are pretty well armed, Army surplus and updated older weapons like AK-47s and another guard goes for an unexpected late night swim thanks to her efforts. With Orchid's set up and running as an operator she's helped to aid is the over plan cooked up by Ryouma. And it should hopefully work if Maaka can get there. For the moment she'll have a brief window to act before she might be noticed Maaka best make the most of it.

Stockdale

The pirates on the Stockdale just don't even know what hit them as August goes to show up gets their attention, none of the pirates run they all open fire on him.

"Your funeral brat."

Then comes the fire and thing just decent into chaos here he is totally getting shot it but he's already torched a few of the pirate most of them drop but one does not, nope he get mard and his flesh burns away? August can see the guy's a full con who is now closing in on him fast.

Gettysburg

Kotone was with Staren for a brief moment before she makes for the cruiser alongside Alexis, who is not Maaka but of Trainers. Much like Kotone, she's going sneaky and for the moment they are not noticed as they slip aboard.

<<I'll head the central computers. Staren can you get the bridge? >>

Kotone notes as they move out, for the moment with all the chaos caused by August? Everyone else being sneaky has time to act.
Alexis Maaka     Maaka inspects the AKM she picked up. It's well fitted out, with a light rail and collapsible stock among other upgrades. She stores it in her Matter Manipulator, before she takes off down the side of the deck. Pirates will no doubt notice when that guard fails to report in, which means she needs to find her way inside the ship's lower levels and fast. <I need the design specs for this ship ASAP.> She radios, ducking behind storage crates to evade patrols.
Staren     Staren's not exactly sneaky, but he's not exactly loud either, until weapons fire starts... and it hasn't yet, at least not on this ship. Keeping an eye out for the crew with thermal sensors and such, he tries to sneak his way to the bridge. He's researched the flaws in old OSes from this time and maybe even picked up some hacking tools. He's not a hacking specialist, but... well, he'll see if it's enough.
August Kohler As the bullets fly, August is skilled at making sure he doesn't get hit, sticking to cover. The Tin Soldier, on the other hand, gets rattled with bullets, marring its body, spilling 'oil', and causing August vast amounts of pain. As most of them begin to fall, though as they begin fighting, August notices the one who is made of metal. A full-body cyborg, huh. "Nice construction. But how hot can it stand up to?"

The Tin Soldier moves to turn up the heat, trying to melt straight through one of his legs and try and slow and cripple him, or stop him from moving out right. At the very least, it's likely to really hurt. "I don't like getting shot at, so let's make this quick. You get to leave, we take the boat." There's an emphasis on 'we'. Are there invisible allies? Is he referring to himself and the Tin Soldier? Who knows.

But August wants to end this before more reinforcements come up onto the boat, and he's already shifting cover, since his is full of bullet holes.
Alexis <<Give me a moment to get their attention, then you guys go do the eggheady things to the techno whatzits.>>, Alexis replies to the others.

As they near the Gettysburg she points up towards the ship's deck. Mudslinger responds by angling up and tucking his arms in before launching towards the surface, while Alexis grabs another pokeball to be ready.

On the surface there's a few bubbles popping up, then stop. Only for a few seconds before the water churns and then erupts upward like a gyser as Swampert uses the upward travel effect of Waterfall to launch them up onto the ship. The second pokeball is thrown, and then Alexis lands on the deck in a perfect three-point landing. Swampert lands next to her, fins and gill-whiskers flared to look more intimidating as he shields himself and Trainer from what's going to come.

Because the real threat is the flash of energy that reachs the deck in front of them and materializes into a squat ogre-ish pokemon with pipe-like tubes jutting out of his back and head. As he lands his massive maw gulps in air and then clamps shut. The air tubes bulge a bit, and then let loose a cacophony of discordant tones like someone slamming all the keys on a pipe organ at once, produce multiple extremely aggrivating to the point of pain and disorientation inducing sonic tones.

That should get the attention of any pirates that aren't crippled by the ear-splitting audial assault.
Ryouma Sakamoto     "Ah, it looks even better up close," Ryouma says.
Oryou looks at him sideways, unimpressed. "Maybe they have a fridge? Oryou is hungry."
"Please don't eat any of them tonight," Ryouma requests.
"Oryou can't help it. It's like Ryouma with ships," the floating woman responds, idly. Ryouma just smiles.
"Ah, I can't argue with that."

Levity aside, Ryouma knows where he's going. Call it a gift from the World, but the workings of these kinds of ships come to him intuitively.

"Oryou, go down the stairs around the corner two floors and then go straight. Please disable the crew manning the engine room and surroundings. I'll handle the bridge. Please hold back a bit."

Oryou nodnods and heads down, as instructed. She makes a beeline for the engines, and anyone unfortunate enough to be behind her and her destination is going to either get punched hard enough to dent the plating of the walls, or get maimed by a wild flurry of hair.

Ryouma moves much more quietly, moving from cover to cover to reach the bridge. If it's guarded, he'll surge forward to deliver a blow with the hilt of his sheathed katana to the back of the guard's neck - if it's not, in he goes.
Orchid      For the moment Orchid is coordinating information, telling her allies where they can move on the ships. Her screens flicker between the original plans, plans showing how the ships were when in service, and the information those allies are returning to her, telling Orchid what changes the pirates have made. She's got her special weapon ready, but until she has a connection, she can't make it happen.
Kotone Yamakawa Stockdale

August is sure putting things on fire though he may wish to watch say not hitting the ship's Magazines if he stops to think about it the pirate may have loaded the guns already as a form of Deterrent from anyone trying to take them from them. Bullets rain down at him with the only pausing in fire coming from when the burned cyborg moves into someone field of fire and he's coming for August. If August had not turned up the heat on him the borg would be in melee range with him. Thankfully for August, he does succeed in melting the guy's legs causing him to keel over also fusing them partially to the deck he's not going to be able to do much more.

"We?! You some off-worlder?! Oh hell your with that PMC that has the murder dolls ain't you?! "

The cyborg is oddly calm about his injuries very odd though he clearly is stuck at this ping.

"So our lives for the boat..."

The others keep shooting at him meanwhile maybe this guy isn't in charge but clearly he's thinking about this offer.

Kidd

Maaka is able to score a new toy for her personal armoury she will have to move fast into the ship she will be able to find the way through with help from her allies there are guards but they are moving on deck some are trying to get to the ship August is going after to aid them. Makka best keep moving.

Gridley

The Gally would totally have a stock fridge that the pair could find later if they take the ship. The pair split up Oryou would find at the guards while decently armed are not ready for something out of myth and legend, while she may get shot a few time she should be able to take the engine rook after a brief fight one of the techs who drops his weapons.

"What... what are you.... you can't be a cyborg or even an android..."

As for Ryouma he's making for the bridge and he'll catch the guard from behind and drop him entering on to the b5idge and finding the ship would be commander just /staring at him/ for half a second before going for a very high cal handgun.

"Get the hell off my bridge!"

Gettysburg The Triple Threat of Kotone, Staren and Alexis are on the Gettysburg and making some progress. Alexis and her partner does their things. She makes a hell of diversion and thanks to the sonic assault the entirely of the ones without hearing arguments akin to earplug are down on the deck writhing in pain screaming. The ones that are not are already turning their weapons on her trying to open fire with heavy weapons fire and to their credit the fire is /focused/.

While this goes on Kotone is a Phantom heading for the ship's central computer room to take it over the guards fall prey to her eelware and she'll move in to start jacking in. While Staren reaches the bridge to his bad luck either a pair of Cyborgs or androids are guarding the way and clearly not rushing out after Alexis.

Orchid would also note several ARMED suits are moving on the ship that August is attacked but one's split off to go to the Missile Cruiser.
Orchid      <<August, he may be trying to stall you; there are several power armor units moving. Gettysburg team, one of those suits is heading your direction, between the ships.>> Orchid has good battlefield awareness, and is able to support with the VERY latest gossip.

Now Orchid turns to the much more powerful computer, the one set up for hacking, and it has to be so powerful. This is because the second computer is connected to the network beacons she gave people, and is set up to spoof the US Navy's private, secure network. It's not quite Arpanet compared to the current public networks, but it IS old. Setting this up required some special legwork, and Orchid still owes an old man two favors for the critical files.

But thatâs not what you want to hear about. You want to know about the 'special attack' Orchid has planned. Well, using the password for Root@gettysburg.navy.mil lets her get into the security settings for the shipâs network. And once inside, Orchid makes those computers more secure.

By forcing them all to download and install the latest updates to their operating systems and anti-virus software.
Just the downloading will lock each computer for a good minute, the installation will take another two, and the automatic reboots will take another three. And for all that time, all systems controlled by computers will be unable to function.

Manual overrides will still function, but thatâs what the muscle is for, keeping the pirates away from operating the manual overrides.

But then there's the first of Orchid's favors. A simple email message, sent to the shipâs general email address.

Subject: I miss you
1st Lt. Thomas Boyd sends his love to his first girlfriend.

There are nearly a hundred other messages, from the men and women who served on those four ships, the veterans Orchid asked for information when official channels ran dry.
Alexis Maaka     Maaka moves down bellow deck, going lower and lower. She takes the chance to evade patrols, mostly letting them move past so August can distract them. Cruel as it sounds, the kid did volunteer to soak up enemy attention while this was going on.

She uses the diagrams sent to her thanks to Orchid, eventually finding her way to the network room. No way in hell was this gonna be on the bridge. Just wouldn't make sense.

She plants the beacon and gets it hooked up, before tipping over a table and using it to hold the door shut while she waits for it to do its thing.
Ryouma Sakamoto     "Oryou is the Serpent of Takachiho," she explains, though it's unlikely to mean anything unless the pirate fancies himself a tourist and has gone around hiking Japanese mountains. She is kind enough not to dismember the man, and in fact, gives him a chance to get out of this with only bruises if he cooperates.

"Oryou isn't good with machines. If you shut down all the engines, Oryou will let you go."

Her hair rattles around like snakes. Angry, threatening snakes, as if to make a point.

Ryouma, as usual, is having worse luck.

"Ah, no, no, please don't shoot. The truth is, if you want to leave, I won't stop you. My partner is downstairs making some noise, you can check your monitors. If we could resolve this without her needing to kill anyone, it'd be for the best."

Ryouma's offer is genuine, and while he's holding onto his sheathed katana, with his arms up, he probably doesn't look too threatening. He's ready to pounce if the captain(?) makes for anything that looks even remotely alarm-like, but he can't just go in guns blazing either. Have to give him a chance.
Alexis "Good job Grindcore." Well isn't that a fitting name. Though when the pirates not incapacitated by the audio assault respond by bringing out guns Alexis is quick to recall the Exploud. He did his part as necessary, no need to leave him out in the fight to wind up with more injured than necessary. Then darts for cover behind one of the deck structures as the gunfire starts.

Her Swampert on the other hand remains standing there imposing. He's hit several times but the defense of his rubbery amphibious hide is enduring through the assault with a few grunts of pain while covering his face with his arms. Alexis peaks out and frowns. There was one of those battle suit things heading their way on top of the defenders. These pirates are a little better prepared and well armed than anticipated.

<<Copy that. We'll be ready.>> But then again, so is she...

Alexis rolls up her right sleeve and wraps her hand around the bracer underneath, and more accurately the spherical jewel imbedded in it. Which reacts with the similar crystal strapped around one of the Swampert's arms starting to glow and engulfing the pokemon completely. What looks like a double-helix in the shape of a flame briefly appears and then the aura blast away to reveal the form of a now even more buff Mega Swampert.

As the shift in forms, and the increase in combat strength that comes with it, finishes Alexis peaks out. "Mudslinger, hit the deck!" Why would she want him to dod--Wait does she mean literally?

By the way he clenches his fists and cocks one arm up and back, it would seem so. The bulbous pressure sacs on top of those swole muscles contract to shoot out jets of water, giving the swing even more force as Mudslinger slams it into the deck at his feet like a piledriver!

The resulting vibrations ring through the old metal deck in ringing tremors threatening to knock the remaining gunmen off their feet and throw their aim very far off.
August Kohler As more bullets come out, the Tin Soldier sprays fire into the air, moving to melt some of them (and getting impacted with the rest, to August's pain and damage, as he stumbles from the pain, gets shot by a stray bullet, and hit in the arm). August needs this to end now. He needs a show of force.

The Tin Soldier steps forward as the big machines start to come. It raises its gun forward. It starts letting off fire...and then it readies a massive blast. Just by the sheer amount of fire swirling around the Tin Soldier's gun, it's clear it's going to be a massive fireball.

"I won't warn again. Stand down or I'll burn through all of you." Whether or not August's bluffing doesn't matter. He's putting all of his firepower into this show of force. If they /do/ continue to attack him...

He'll blast the fireball straight at the mechsuit to show exactly what he means. It's big, it's hot, and it's dangerous.
Staren     Stealth success! Staren makes his way to the bridge, wincing at the sound from the exploud. Even if his helmet is blocking some of the noise, it's grating, and they've certainly... gone loud now. The pirates will know something's up.

Staren arrives on the bridge to find two... hmm. Sensors indicate either androids or fullcon cyborgs. The former probably aren't programmed for combat, but the latter...

While he's undetected, Staren tries to sniff their wireless traffic for his support AI to analyze, whether it looks like AI users or humans. If they're AI, maybe he can hack them too. If not... he reaches into his bag and pulls out a couple of vials. If they start to turn their heads, or his analysis indicates they're cyborgs, he'll throw them to magically grow restraining vines around their seats.
Kotone Yamakawa Orchid

Orchid's plan is now going to town with her well-laid plan which brings the computers to a screeching halt while most of these ships were made in the 1990s or early 2000s? They are quite heavily computerized at this point and Orchid's plan works wonders, the messages if they reach any spirits the ships might have remains to be seen but the ships are offline the weapon systems comms and just about everything else is not functional.

Kidd

Maaka now is in the belly of the vessel and she digs in for the moment no one seems to come it seems there's panic on the upper decks from the rest of the chaos outside she'll have to old for the moment.

Gridley The Pirate tech just kind of stares "Wait wait like the old Japanese Legend that would mean your a ... I am not being paid enough to fight a dragon!"

It seems this pirate is somewhat travelled and he's about shitting himself. When a dragon offers you the option to not be dinner for a simple task.

"I can do that... don't eat me!"

He'll if she lets him move to turn off the engine then he's going to bail and not damn well look back. Off-world elites? This is not what he signed on for.

On the Bridge the Captain stares at the monitor, he's not fighting for a cause he's fighting for a payday and you can't spend shit if you are dead. Also, the rumours of the T-dolls are making the grounds through the pirates so they are damn well scared s they know most of them don't have the big /bounties/ yes their two pals slipped the info before they got their jacks disabled by the Army.

"The Commodore is another matter."

He notes "All hands abandon ship this job ain't worth dying to multiversal elites over."

With that he'll grab something of his des what looks like a data pad of some sort and move to get the hell off if no one tries to stop him.

Stockdale

the ARMED suit while durable as hell can't really take an attack like this the fury of the Persona User is made manifest in a second the machine has one of its ammo bins cook-off from the heat causing an explosion that guts half the armoured unit sending it crashing into the dock where it remains smouldering in a heap the rest of the pirate just state, those that can? Get up and run like hell, thus the shooting at August has finally stopped.

Gettysburg

Staren is able to find one of the guys is an android the other is a cyborg. Staren throws the vine bomb at the living human while moves to hack the android he won't be able to take control but he can cause problems with its motor systems to lock it up, and in short order, he'll have the bridge in hand with the guys up there locked down.

Alexis has done a heck of a lot all ready to tie up a lot of the pirates she now has her pokemon do it thing and evolve even faster than Darwin would have thought possible for any organic lifeform to do. The pokemon hits the deck so hard all the pirate are knocked off their feet and most of them are sent into the water by the force of the impact.

With all this chaos going on Kotone finish jacking in and will be there to seize total control of the ship once it finishes booting up and she will have a bit of fun with this.

<<I am the Gettysburg and I WILL NOT BECOME A PIRATE I AM A VESSEL OF THE AMERICAN NAVY! GET OFF OF ME YOU BILGE RATS!>>

At this point the pirates who are not dead and able to are /fleeing/ like hell, sure many of them are getting away but in the end they re small fry or maybe Heller's got a dragnet set up to catch many of them. With the loss of the ships and the shipyard, they form this being a black market layover point might just be over.
Ryouma Sakamoto     Oryou is courteous enough not to eat the man once the engines are off. She does, however, ask him: "Oh, one last thing. Oryou wants to know if you have a fridge onboard."

    Why not, right?

Up on the bridge, Ryouma finds himself standing in the doorway, not letting the captain through just yet. "Sorry, sorry. There's just... one last thing. I'll understand if you don't want to hear it, but... we're working really hard to rebuild this city. There's a place for you in that plan, you know? You could earn your paycheck legally, help the Alliance move in. It's a lot better than putting up a fight. But either way... I'm really, really afraid I need to ask you to hand that pad over before you go. Please?"

    Ryouma smiles like a dork.
Alexis There's a pause, and Alexis has to keep from snickering when the 'ship' itself starts demanding the invaders leave. Pirates tend to be superspicious, and it seems to be true for these futuristic ones too. "Uh oh, someone woke up cranky that she has an infestation," she practically singsongs, going along with the ruse. Looks like even that ARMED suit is getting the hell out of dodge instead of risk that pricy piece of equipment.

Alexis looks back to her pokemon. "How about you give the ol' girl a bath to help her wake up," she remarks, still playing along with the 'ship spirit' plan. Mega Swampert goes along with it and helps 'wash' the fleeing pirates off the deck with a few shots of Water Gun at their retreating backs. Which is a piddly little attack... normally... When it's coming from a Mega Evolution even the plink damage is like getting hit with a high powered supersoaker.
Orchid      From where she sits in her web of information, Orchid can see all that is going on. Specifically, she can see how the pirates are running, surrendering, or being captured. She chuckles to herself, then steels her soul. Time to work on that SECOND favor.

<<So hey people. I asked some of the people that served on these ships, before that war, for their help in gathering the information I needed, and, well, they had a request.>>

A deep breath. <<They want one of these ships. Specifically, they want to turn it into a museum, celebrating the service that these sailors performed, that these ships performed... and I promised them I'd try and help make it happen. And on the upside, the locals get an extra tourist attraction, to help rebuild the city with.>>
Staren     And they're down! Staren takes a moment to rig up a riot foam grenade by the door in case of ambush, then shoves the android out of its seat and takes its place. "You know, really, you're lucky." Staren comments to the tied-up cyborg. "We don't want to kill you, and we're going to make things /better/ for the island. If you're wanted, well, I guess you're going to jail, but at least I wasn't a rival pirate here to kill you, right?"

Staren gets on the intercom. <"Attention! This ship is under new management! Don't try to take it back, I mean, we took out your guys this quickly right, what chance do YOU have? I advise you to abandon ship and look for a new hiding place if you don't want to get arrested. Disappear, get a new identity, and you too can reap the rewards when we make the island better."> His chipper tone belies the serious threat: <"Or you can stick around, try to fight, and get arrested or killed. The choice is yours!">
