Tomoe It may not be the main feast but tomoe's been recovering at Deidra Longwing's inn since she was savesd nad is down in the main room near the fire resting and in a very strange fit of thing is looking at the net on a display window from her inventory she has some sort of show being streamed while she related oddly she's still in the Dark Lady armour but has lost all the Draconic features she had gained before, that is a good sign.
Josuke Higashikata     Of course, Josuke's going to return, when he's reasonably cleaned up. But his mother and Jotaro kind of read him the riot act about getting messed up -- though Jotaro tried to pretend he wasn't upset about it -- but he's better now. He's bandaged up, though, and will probably spend some time trying to do some Hamon meditation, both for practice and for trying to heal up a little.

Right now, though, he's worried about Tomoe. That was a broken quest chain, so he doesn't know if it's finally over and done with or not. He hopes it is, but he knows there's always the chance they'll have to punch something else. When he arrives, he sees she's still in the Dark Lady outfit -- that's not really great, but at least she's not reptilian now. That's good. "Hey," he greets. And then he asks, "You feeling all right, Tomoe?"
Orchid      Earlier in the day, Orchid was outside. Despite protests of certain God-Dragon Hybrids, soldering doesn't smell that good, so she took a break in the rain to go out there and fix some spiders from broken ones. Mind you, she does have to thank Josuke for helping repair them during the fight. Still, once all 29 have been put back together than can be, she heads inside, followed by at least two of her little minions. You see, she's also curious about the quest chain, and earlier there was talk about 'loot tables' and such. She's got the crystal scraps in a box she carries. "Hello all, Josuke, Tomoe," she syas.
Staren     Staren hasn't been hanging around. He had to take the mecha back to the warpgate and do Staren stuff. Shortly before the appointed time for the feast, though, he flies to the inn. He's not dressed in mad scientist gear or normal clothes, but Alfheim Online light armor. Tomoe might remember it was what he wore the day of their attack on the capital to free everyone Sugou had trapped, all those years ago.

Perhaps he hopes it will reassure Brick and company that he's on the heroic side.

"Hey guys." He offers a friendly nod to those gathered, and then looks curiously at Tomoe. Surprised she's still wearing that. Then again, maybe she still has to in this area?

"So... How are you feeling? Did the quest log explain what was going on?"
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki seems perfectly fine after the back-to-back battles, all perfectly cheerful and perfectly patched up, not the slightest sign of injury or upset. Partly because she's wearing a digital avatar that doesn't show cosmetic damage for long, of course, and partly because she really didn't take much damage in either fight. She drained her reserves, but those tend to replenish rather quickly from battle to battle, let alone a day later.

She's been hanging out with the locals for the most part, putting her ninja skills to good use. That is to say, she's been making herself known among the villagers because she utterly sucks at being a ninja. She's wearing her ninja outfit still, but the hood is thrown back to reveal her hair and ears. She's still wearing the scarf but it's fashionably around her shoulders and neck rather than covering her mouth. And there's no sign whatsoever of her evil nature... not that there ever was any of that. She's probably managed to weird out Brick's party though, as most of them are probably convinced she's currently acting and she's up to something.

She barges on in at the appointed time, hopefully also dragging a couple of the would-be heroes with her. If she managed to convince them to come, that is. The end of the quest needs celebrating after all, and they DID help stop the ascension of the Dark Goddess right?
Tomoe Tomoe looks over to Josuke for a moment "Good to ser you Josuke and I'm feeliong all right,." She grins she seems back to nromal for a moment. She seems in good spirits though and calmed down so that's a good sign she looks to Orchid. "Hey." She almost said Shortstop but that might have been a bad idea. Staren is next ot psop in ans she looks to him fort a moment and pauses at the outfdit she's not seen in forever. "I'm good the quest cleared though there seems to be a breadcrumb aftermath part of the castle's collapse and thing seem to be settling down there and Yuuki!"

THe Priestess and Bolt are with her, with twins promising to come later.

"I got a bread crumb quest called the broken cycle so I think we're done. Sit down dinner is on me."
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke smiles broadly at the greeting from Orchid. "Hi!" he offers brightly, both to her and to the entering Staren and Yuuki -- as well as to her dragged-along friends. He'll sit down as Tomoe offers, but then ask, "A bread crumb quest? What do you mean by that?" He is, after all, from sliiiightly before MMOs got popular in modern gaming.
Staren     "'The broken cycle?' As if CARDINAL is somehow aware of how messed up all this was... what do you mean by 'breadrumb quest'?" Staren asks. He's played some MMORPGs in his time, sure, but not as much as, well, any of the SAO survivors or someone who was in a medicuboid.
Orchid      Orchid takes a place at the table. "Staren, Yuuki, and I think you two are Bolt... and I missed your name," she says, pointing at the Priestess. "Oh, Josuke, thank you for the help with the spiders, that was a big help." Now, back to Tomoe's thing. "And is a breadcrumb quest one of those ones where you go from person to person to person etc trying to get some item the other one wants?"
Tomoe Tomoe says "No that's a fetch quest, a bread crumb is ment to lead you to a new zone or a new chain, or wrap an existing chain which ending is else where." She ntoes for a moment and she nods to staren. Deidra meamwhile has popped in for a moment dropped some menus and trotted back into the kitchen where she's barkcing orders at someone about food.

Bolt shrugs a bit "Something smelled wrong about all this. Should have payed attention to the signs sooner. Though I think there's some questions I don't want the answers too."

The Priestess looks at Staren she just looks at Staren and note sweetly "We're here to celebrate, none of your rants and just call me Lil." She knows Staren already and knows you must be direct as Brick was dumb.
Orchid      Orchid ahhs at the explanation of the quest. "That makes a level of sense," she says, looking over the menu. "And we're in a place where a world built from data has spilled onto a world built from quarks. I did my best to not take things at face value, because that sort of kludge is always going to create bugs. And Lil, nice to meet you."
Staren     Staren nods at Tomoe's explanation. After Bolt speaks, he opens his mouth to respond, bit the priestess interrupts, and he closes it again and rolls his eyes. After a moment, he speaks, "Well, perhaps not right now, but if you ever want to know more about the outside world, I'm happy to get you information." He reaches into his bag and offers a smartphone-sized-device to the adventurers. "You can talk to people with this."

He then changes the subject to keep away from heavier matters, "So, what's on the menu?"
Josuke Higashikata     "Should we go with you to the new area?" Josuke inquires. He's working on RPG knowledge -- that means something will happen, right? A cutscene, an unlock, or something, right? He's not going ot be volunteering any new information to the adventurers, because he's not sure how bad it would break things for NPCs to know about the 'real' world. Then again in this world, the game world kinda overlaps, so....
Yuuki Konno     Yuuki looks thoughtful. "There's never really a need to go on a chain quest, right?" she suggests. "It's just ... like, you're not being forced to do more quests, it's just an option?"
Tomoe Bolt says "We intend to visit the neighbourt town I am hoping the humans there would be intereste din trade or could have use of our sword arms for dealing with the creatures of the forest." He grins a bit. Tomoe nods to Josuke, Lil just kinda blank faces, they are aware but certain terms they are still wired to ignore and that might take time to get over. Tomoe nods "ya that's right, there seems to be a reward for doing it but it's a ???? in the log."
Orchid      "A quest, at the end of an epic chain, for an undefined reward?" Orchid asks if she has it right. "Then I guess the only question left is where is the quest destination?"
Josuke Higashikata     "Well, I'm willing to go with you and help," Josuke replies. Then to the group at large, "Most of this has gotten sprung on Tomoe without her knowing it, if I understand correctly. So it's probably a good idea that she doesn't go alone."
Yuuki Konno     "There's ALWAYS a reward for a quest!" Yuuki chirps brightly. That's the point, right? It's been a staple of MMOs since like... like the first computer or something.
Tomoe Tomoe says "I would dare not go alone, that's how this whole mess started." She makes a face "The outfit buff is still on me so yes I'm going to go but not alone it shouldn't be too bad right we're not going alone."
Staren     Staren nods to Bolt's suggestion. "Protecting them from monsters sounds like a good way to establish a relationship, but don't you need to protect the villages here too?" To Tomoe's comment about the quest, he replies: "Well... just give us a call and we'll be happy to help!"
Orchid      Orchid nods to Tomoe. "I'm in. After those two fights, and Brick, you put up a hell of a fight," she asides to the adventurer, "I want to see this to the end."
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke nods to Tomoe's observation. "Hopefully the last quest will remove that buff," he replies. He also nods to Orchid's words. "That was a hell of a fight," he agrees. Staren's words get a note of, "And hey, if anything happens out here, call me. I'll do what I Can to help."
Tomoe Bolts grunts a bit and tilts his heead "Right hopefully things will quiet down now." He digs into his ood now while Tomoe grins a bit "Yes I hope so, it's a miracle I have the body to not look stupid in this." She makes a face, seriously she'll hold a bone to pick with Cardinal over the outfit for ages. "So come on lets' all dig in we can worry about this last bit later it's not going anywhere. Sides the person I have to walk to it? I think she deserves some time to relax first."
Staren     Staren gives Tomoe a surprised look when she says it's a miracle the outfit works on her. "Is it? Everyone in an MMO is pretty. Most people don't want to play the part of someone in a fantasy world who's /not/ attractive. So of course ALO generated you an attractive avatar. The last thing anyone wants is for their avatar to have to go on a diet before putting on swimsuit armor. It's a magical world where you look good no matter what you do and you can eat whatever you want and not get fat. If only more people would realize that technology can make the real world that way, too."

Staren blinks. "Oh... sorry, you said no ranting. Right, let's dig in!"
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke blinks at Staren. He really isn't sure what to say about it. But, well. There's food, and that's not going to go unignored by a teenage boy very long. And he's kind of big for a teen, particularly a Japanese teen, so it's a good bet he eats more than what's typical. So, food will be had!
Tomoe Lil nearly throws a meat haunch at Staren but he catches himself so he stops.

Tomoe just kinga has a slight break moment. Staren just unintionally hit a mental chink in her mental armor she sees this as her now, not her orginal form. She shakes her head a bit and just passes Staren some ribs "here enjoy. I'm still not sure how to take it how my life changed."
Orchid      Orchid doesn't know food, but she does have a good feel for people; she narrows her eyes at Tomoe's blank moment, but then shakes her head. She may follow up that line of thought later, but today is for eating with friends, and celebrating if not the final end, a stopping spot along the road of a difficult task.
