Lemeza Kosugi Eight Generations History Museum. Established a couple years ago to deal with the many prominent historical finds unearthed at the legendary ruins of La-Mulana. With the help of the locals there, who had stewarded over the ruins until its recent collapse at the hands of that /detestable and careless/ Lemeza Kosugi, the curators at Eight Generations have put together a rather comprehensive picture of how life began, as well as its ebb and flow across the ages. But that's not why we're here today. No, today a gang of thieves intend to steal the most important artifact in the museum.

Safely hidden in a nest of hedges toward the rear of Eight Generations, Lemeza Kosugi greets the multiversal herores who answered the call of Arthur's Syndicate posting. Amidst the backdrop of late night and the drone of sparse traffic in the background, he begins his briefing. "Greetings and salutations, all of you. As you know, our primary objective is to steal the Secret Treasure of Life, which my father unfairly took from me and 'donated' here. So you know what to look for, its appearance is that of a crystalline amber stone, and it fits in the palm of the hand. The item itself will be easy to transport out. The problem, as it always is with this sort of thing, is getting to it."

He pulls out his MSX3 laptop, clicking to bring up a visitor's map of the area. "There are three floors to the building, with our objective in the central room of the second. Based on my initial analysis and publicly-available brochures, the first floor is primarily just exhibits about the history of the world, with not much valuable to guard. Replicas and what not. The second floor is the jackpot. Including that Treasure of Life, that's where they house all the originals of the artifacts /I MYSELF/ excavated." He makes a point to emphasize just who made this place possible. "They've divided the floor plan into four quadrants plus the center room, but as far as I can tell there's no real thematic thing going on there. As for the third." His tone of voice starts to have undercurrents of disdain. "Nothing on the third floor yet, but there's an exhibit coming soon... apparently my /father/ managed to find something on his own this time." Okay, so the undercurrents are more like overcurrents...

"Now, for security. There's armed guards patrolling at night, and although any one of us could just mow them down, I am not about to become a murderer. We sneak past. We have two feasible ways inside: we can either slip in through the back, or drop in through the roof. Which one you choose is up to the individual, but don't get caught. We convene on the second floor. Once inside, there's more guards, and CCTV cameras to watch out for, but I don't anticipate anything more complicated than that. Keep your guard up just in case.

"One last thing... though I wasn't keen on the idea at first, if any of you want to loot other things, help yourself. That'll help cover up the motive for this heist. And with that, that should be everything. Let's make this happen!" With that, Lemeza puts away his laptop and awaits the group's plans.
Silica     Keiko Ayano is here. An unassuming young woman with brown hair tied into a pair of side tails. She's got an eyepiece from some device around her head over her left eye, and a small white dragonling perched on her shoulder. "If it helps, Pina and my other pets have crowd control abilities. They can stun or try putting them to sleep temporarily. I can also try knocking them out, but my unarmed skill is kind of low, I focussed on dagger combat." she offers after listening to the plan. "If nothing else, I could make a really big fuss on one side, drag as many of the guards to me as possible to open a way for the rest of you."
Count Kord     Kord is here. He looks a bit strange, nothing like he once appeared. His shadowy visage is pulled into an expressive, cartoonish grin, and he's seated on a stool made of shadows. He kicks his taloned feet slowly, and his tail twitches behind him while he listens to Lemeza. He looks pretty much like an evil spirit, and doesn't make any attempt to hide this from the others in the part. As Lemeza's ire about his accomplishments being stolen by his father becomes more and more obvious, the Count's smile grows with merciless amusement, but at least he's not laughing about it.

Look at all of those sharp teeth.

"I'll enter from atop, and provide support for the others," he offers, standing up and letting the shadow stool recede into the floor with smoky wisps of black. He looks up and darkness crawls across his form, then he levitates up into the air soundlessly and gracefully, disappearing over the top of the building.
Sombra     Among the ones gathered here is a rather eyecatching latina, leaning back against the hedge as she listens to Lemeza explain the setup for tonight. There are indeed many people here tonight, which might make it somewhat harder ironically... A smaller team might have been able to do this on their own. But whatever, because Sombra is here for the fun. Her demeanor is rather relaxed, and she looks around at the other people as she studies them, as if trying to determine just how the mission will go.

"I can focus on the tech in there," Sombra offers with a drawl, bringing up one hand into empty air before purple hexagons appear, clearly digital as she lets her fingers run across the keys, and a holovid screen flares to life. "The cameras won't be a problem that way, I just need to find my way to a terminal... Which shouldn't be too hard." It's all too easy to get hold of blueprints of buildings in most worlds, really. Now what are the others planning...? "Unless somebody else wants to do that...? I'm flexible~"

While Reaper isn't here, at least Cord is here and he's similar enough. As the sinister figure rises into the air she arches an eyebrow. "You could always try scaring them away...?"
Hector      What a strange family this Lemeza has. Although Hector wouldn't label himself as a thief or burglar in the slightest, the idea that someone would steal things from his own son and try to claim the moral high ground by 'donating' them somewhere else has him feeling rather charitable himself. "I can take people out quiet-like, too. A little smack, a punch or two... Shouldn't be too bad." Hector raises his spear for a moment to tap on the non-pointy all-of-it, then glances over at Silica. "I can even help her out. If they're going to fire at anyone, better me than a child."

He probably even looks old enough to be her father. At least he's not wearing shorts and flip flops. "Or... If that's no good, I'll... Improvise something. Maybe they'll get along better with an older person like..." He pauses to glance towards Kord just as he lifts into the air, then at Sombra for another moment before shrugging. "You're all pretty young here, aren't you?"
Yuna Kagurazaka Technically, assisting with a burglary is *not* the kind of thing that the Savior of Light should be a party to - and Elner was rather emphatic about that when Yuna came across the Syndicate mission request. However, there's precedent for helping to steal back something which isn't in the rightful hands where it belongs, and even Elner had to admit that Yuna wasn't exactly wrong. The little robo-faerie was adamant, though, that Yuna wouldn't be able to call upon the Matrix of Light for the actual mission.

And Yuna was okay with that. She can transform if she needs to, but for now, she's in civilian clothes - and if she *does* need to transform, Elner's willing to let her do that much. Sneaking and avoiding combat still sound like a great idea, and with that thought in mind, Yuna studies the maps on Lemeza's computer. "Hmmm ... we can't really pass ourselves off as tourists or visitors who got lost enough not to leave before they closed, can we," she muses. "Otherwise I'd be happy to distract them, making an opening for some of the group to sneak through while the guards are pre-occupied."
Wandering Dog The Wandering Dog is dressed in his tunic, hunching in the hedge. "I can deal with guards if it becomes a problem. Give them a good thump on the head." He cracks his knuckles, listening to everyone discuss. "Alright, there's distractions, support, and stealth people, plan made! Let's get this treasure. I'll join the Count up on the roof." And then, Wandering Dog leaps from the hedge, moving for the walls of the building.

He's going to run straight up them, avoiding any windows, trying to reach the roof as fast as he can. From there, Wandering Dog's going to search for the nearest entry point and try and drop inside.

The map has been devoted to memory, or atleast the important parts, so Wandering Dog should be able to follow it. He's not the stealthiest guy, but he should be able to handle this, right?
Miari     "A secret treasure of Life..." Miari is not exactly keen on theft, but she can hear the truth of Lemeza's words. And... the idea of a MUSEUM, keeping useful, likely powerful artifacts around just so anyone can come LOOK at them but not DO anything with them...

Well, it offends her on so many levels. On the one hand, great that people want to preserve history and knowledge. On the other... do something with those magical artifacts, dammit!

And that's why Miari has chosen a third answer of entering the place. Upon waltzing up to one of the walls her form simply shimmers and collapses into -- shimmery, silver dust?

... Huh. "Leave surveillance of any security to me."

A ghostly Miari, invisible to the naked eye, now walks straight on into the museum. The only sign of her presence in the physical world are some telltale flecks of silvery sand that follow in her wake, drifting on tiny air currents. It would take a keen eye to notice the strange grains drifting about....
Crys Gattz Crys was an old elite who never really had a big profile in the waiting years of the union, even less so after the fall of the super factions. She took jobs that paid well and were low risk, still? Even at the age of two decades the Newman was still looking for excitement. So here was to help an ally out, good news for the team she has actual ninja training. The bad news? It was from the orange jump suit shouty ninja end of the multiverse.

Still she knows to not shout or make needless noise, this was to get in and get the heck out. Sure she was down for that, it would be fun and she had to she could totally pull punches with any guards they run into.

"<Don't plan to kill people who are just doing their jobs on something like this, sides its your old man that needs the humble pie, not anyone else. Though it might limit my combat options.

"If we can get me a good image of one of the guards I can mimic their appearance and if I hear them talk, can mimic the voice too."

She thinks for a moment longer before adding.

"I could try to freeze up the pipes and cause a water overflow in the first floor bathrooms too..."
Staren     Stealing from a museum.

However, Lemeza is Concord, and allegedly earned this magic rock (it is a magic rock right?) fair and square... and it's not doing anyone good here. This would maybe be a dilemma if they were studying it to use its properties to help people, but no, they're just charging people to look at it.

    What a waste.

For once, Staren's not a combat robot or wearing heavy armor or anything. Staren almost can't remember the last time he was on a nonlethal stealth mission. It was that time they were searching Ravnica for one of the cluestones. So, awhile ago.

In any case, he flies to the roof to look for an entrance. He's dressed in clothes that cover him completely and muffle his footsteps, sort of like a ninja outfit but made out of something that shifts color to match the surroundings. It's not quite invisibility, but it's close.
Lemeza Kosugi The first thing the group does is exchange information about their skillsets. There's a mix of stealth, technological expertise, hopefully non-lethal muscle, and... singers? This isn't a show, it's an infiltration! But, the pair Keiko and Yuna seem to be discussing exactly that - a raucous concert performance intended to distract the guards wholesale and divert their attention away from the plan. It's not that crazy, when put in those terms.

Most of the others are staying put for now, but a few have made their moves already. Count Kord decides to do a shadow thing and levitate to the roof, and although one of the guards patrolling outside glances up nervously, he quickly resumes his patrol, shrugging off the incident as just seeing things. Wandering Dog follows suit, running up a wall instead and reaching the top without issue. Lemeza had been watching the others calmly, but tenses up as Staren takes off, afraid he might get detected right away. And, oh hey, he does... sort of. One of the guards looks up and shouts "HEY! What was--" before settling down just as fast as he sees nothing and realizes the flapping sound was probably just the wildlife. With the Rooftop Patrol in position, they scout multiple points of entry. One is an unlocked skylight, albeit with at least one camera pointed directly at where they'd drop in at. The other is a locked door where the roof access stairs lead out to, which has no obvious surveillance.

Miari, for her part, simply walks through the front door! That would be a brazen move if she weren't invisible and ghosty. Once she gets inside, she'd be able to note several things. First, there's no artifacts on this floor - they all must be upstairs, as per the brief. Second, points of ingress: front door, obviously. Back door, leads to the same first floor. Both locked. If she bothers to do a full scouting, she'd come across a room tucked away to the side with a sign saying "SECURITY - AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY". The guards continue on their usual patrol, sensing absolutely nothing wrong.

Lemeza, breathing a sigh of relief as Staren's ungainly move doesn't cost anything, smiles and says, "Alright. Plan's in motion. Stay sharp, stay focused, and let's get what we came for." In the meantime, he waits in the hedges with the remainder of the group.
Silica     "I better suit up before doing anything..." says Keiko, shifting to be out of line-of-sight of the guard patrols. She then speaks firmly. "Link Start!" She's engulfed in wireframe, that fills in with her Cait Sith avatar textures within the space of a couple of seconds. She's a bit shorter now, a bit younger looking. She then rejoins Yuna and Lemeza. "Right, if we're going to make a distraction, we should do it before they start breaking doors in." she says, glancing up at the roof where the others went. "I didn't bring any instruments with me, but I think I have some of Yuna's songs on my phone, and a bluetooth speaker... we could do something with that at least." she glances at the others. "If not, I'll go start making noise and attract attention, then get Pina to use her bubble breath and knock out as many guards as possible."
Sombra     It seems that a plan has been laid, and Sombra looks over at Crys as she makes her request. "I should be able to help you, Crys," she states, swiping the screen away to the side as she watches the other woman. "Once I get inside and get connected to the system I can transmit a video to you... having somebody look like one of the guards might be rather useful..."

With that the hacker waves to the ones who are still present and left by the hedges. "I'll keep in touch..." Stepping forward she taps a finger to Lemeza's nose, a playful smirk crossing her painted lips. "Boop!" And then she disappears into a pixelated lightshow... though there is one blinking little item left behind as the hacker made sure to leave a translocator behind in case.

Hidden in stealth the hacker quickly and silently makes her way into the building, avoiding the guards as best as she can, following the path towards the best way to get into the server room. It's better to avoid the security room itself, as there might be people there...
Miari     If it's not magical, it's probably not worth her time. Any cool tech gadgets, Miari can ask for from Staren to play with! The first floor has very little for her, apart from an opportunity to observe the guards and report their number and focal areas to her comrades via radio. Which she does.

But oh, it's that SECURITY ROOM which catches her attention. An area closed off, only for people who work here? Must be important!

So she literally sticks her torso through the door like any proper ghost might. And slips on through to have a peek! After all she can just leap up to the next floor (who needs stairs when the floor can't stop you?) if it's not of interest...
Crys Gattz With Keiko and Yuna out to cause a distaction? That could be very useful and with Sombra offer to help get her what she needs to sneak in? Would be very helpful for them getting in and out without the items.

"I hope so I didn't spend all that time learning from my teacher for nothing!"

She notes and she hopes where ever he is that he and the rest of his team of Ninjas are okay.

With Sombra off to get the stuff she needs she's willing to wate but she will try to sneak in somewhat avoiding camers anything else she just need to remain hidden and wait for Sombra to do her thing.
Yuna Kagurazaka To be fair, while 'distract them by singing' *is* one of Yuna's go-to skill options, doing so to assist in a burglary doesn't sit terribly well with her - even when it is, as was previously argued, a burglary for a good cause. She's *far* more visible in the Multiverse at large as an idol singer than she is as the Savior of Light, and her activities with the Watch (even if this isn't a Watch operation) are deliberately even further on the down-low than just being a quasi-magical-girl paladin type. Still, she made the offer of a distraction ...

And maybe, if the museum comes out looking like the bad guys for displaying artifacts stolen from the man who actually discovered them without giving him credit, it would all work out in the end.

Keeping the 'concert' short, sweet, and purposeful is probably their best bet, and Yuna looks herself over, briefly wondering if her sweater and jumper are acceptable for a performance - then grimaces. The point *isn't* to be recognizable as an idol singer, at least not past the point of 'distract the guards' ... so, time to get this show on the road. She heads around to the front of the museum, picking out a spot that's close enough to distract the guards without being so close she's likely to catch any of her allies in the distraction (at least, any who don't *mean* to be in on it); she pulls out a microphone and a compact portable speaker rig, making sure everything's configured right, then scrolls through her phone's selection of songs she's been practicing - songs for which she has the no-vocal 'karaoke' versions, including some of her older favorites - and makes sure the phone is looped in to feed the instrumentals to the speakers, mixed with her actual singing voice. And once everything's ready ...

o/~    Now a shooting star flies across the night sky
If you see it, what will you wish for?
The promise we exchanged when you started your journey
    Is always in my heart

It's not a bad song to start an impromptu concert with; the instrumental track just fades into one sustained chord before the lyrics begin, so there's a modest 'out of nowhere' property to the initial half-chorus. And then, after a brief interlude, Yuna just keeps singing.

o/~    In a sleepless night, it's your voice I want to hear
Talking all night until the morning sun rises

    Side by side, talking enraptured,
    Your profile was shining ...

o/~    You who follow your dreams, I who watch over you,
The same star sheds its light on us both
I want to walk without looking back
Enduring my tears until I see you leave

Now a shooting star flies across the night sky
If you see it, what will you wish for?
The promise we exchanged when you started your journey
    Is always in my heart

As she sings, Yuna keeps some of her attention on the museum - looking to see if the guards are reacting, either those on patrol or any of those who were inside. She even turns the volume up just a smidge more, to aid in projecting the music enough to possibly be heard inside the museum. But more of her attention is on the song itself, the act of singing - sharing in the beauty and joy of a song that she loves ...
Hector      With the plan of action laid out for each group's approach (more or less), Hector glances at his own clothes and quickly realizes that he's not dressed in the most inconspicuous of clothing. The fancy spear isn't going to do him many favors either, but with Silica and Yuna dressed as they are...

Might as well just run with a different angle. "Shame I didn't bring the shades..." He mutters to himself while heading straight for the front door as Yuna begins to sing. He reaches into a pocket to fish out a cigarette, pauses, then puts it away a moment later. No sense teaching them his bad habits.

Satisfied that the patrols are somewhere vaguely behind him and that he's between them and where Yuna's set herself up, the Servant picks up a discarded plastic bag and a newspaper. The plastic bag goes over the top of the spear to hide its stabbiness from the most casual of observers while he holds it horizontally at his waist, and then he starts... Shouting? Yelling? Heckling?

Cheering, apparently, as Hector starts playing the part of a rowdy fan, complete with smacking the newspaper against the definitely not suspicious pole he's holding to make even more noise. "Atta girl! Sing your heart out! Who needs sleep? It's a Friday!"
Wandering Dog Up on the roof, Wandering Dog moves to survey the area. He spots the camera, familiar with the basics of them and what they do, down below the skylight. He backs off and moves towards the door, trying the lock. "Nope, locked. Alright, let's push it in." Supernaturally strong, Wandering Dog positions himself at a running start from the door...

And then moves to rush forward and shoulderrush it, trying to bust the lock (or knock the door off the hinge, either or). It's sure to make some noise, but he can handle it, and it'll speed up their entry. The concert outside's helping with distraction, too, and it'd be worse to be on camera, yeah? That's how he's justifying it.

If the door budges properly, Wandering Dog would make his way to find a staircase (or balcony) towards the second floor so they can approach their prize.
Staren     Staren COULD try to eat away the lock with nanomachines, but Wandering Dog decides not to wait. Staren shrugs, as if to say 'Very well.' Since Dog's made the entrance, he follows, shifting to catform to pad silently down the steps after Dog.

Staren keeps an eye out for security cameras. If he sees one before getting caught on it, he hisses for Dog to wait a moment for Sombra to take care of it. If they manage to reach the entrance to a more open area, Staren shifts back and retrieves some tiny insectile drones from his bag, letting the hopefully-innocuous devices case the area for them so they can see where security cameras and guards are before going in -- he'll show Dog what they discover via tablet.
Lemeza Kosugi Regardless of whether the contents of the SECURITY ROOM are of interest to Miari in particular, they are definitely of interest to the objective. She finds a short hallway, with a few rooms connected. A couple of the doors are open; one reveals just a break room, with a couple guards enjoying a late night snack. Past another open door is the real prize: the camera surveillance feeds, with banks of monitors displaying various parts of the museum.

The monitors are sorted by floor; the ones for the first floor reveal what Miari already saw on her way in. The third floor monitors depict quite a few exhibit-shaped objects with white sheets draped over them. As for the second floor? There's the artifacts Lemeza was talking about, as promised! And the four quadrants are plainly visible, as well. The plaques on each exhibit are too blurred to really make out, though. But, lo and behold, the only security guard who is supposed to be paying attention to these monitors is asleep on the job. Sheesh. (Though security is still paying attention on the second and third floors, as shown in the camera footage.)

Yuna's really putting on a show! Almost as soon as she breaks into song, the patrols outside take notice and start excitedly gossiping amongst each other about the performance. Literally every last one of them stops doing their job and lines up in front of her and Keiko, cheering the songstress and backup dancer loudly. One of the guards gets out his radio and, recognizing her voice and seeing through the civilian outfit, starts yelling into it, loud enough to be heard from at least a block away, "HEY! Guys! Get out here! You won't believe this! I think it's Lady Kagurazaka, in the flesh!" From the other end of the radio: "Whoa, that idol chick from the Multiverse we heard about on the news? Count me in!" With that, the front door just FLIES open, and glorified rent-a-cops come rushing out to join the growing mosh pit. The last guy to leave ropes in Hector, barely containing his excitement as he drags the totally-not-Spartan along. "Oh my gosh this is a dream come TRUE!" Distraction level: impervious.

The stampede of guards somehow, by sheer stroke of luck, completely misses Sombra. All of this happens before she reaches the door, which remains open as Yuna's fans just /rush/ to see this pop idol in person and completely fail to see the invisible Warframe. Looking for a server room, it quickly becomes apparent that the security room likely IS the server room, and will have to be dealt with sooner or later. Although, with Miari reporting guard locations, infiltration will be that much easier. And oh -- huh, it's a good thing that one guy is asleep, because Miari can plainly see a heat signature that very much resembles Sombra and not security, coming into and out of one of the screens.

WHAM. With one slam of Wandering Dog's shoulder, the roof-access door goes flying off the hinges and crashing on the wall behind, revealing a very unobserved stairway down to the third floor. What /is/ observed, however, is the commotion he created. As he and Staren descend the stairs, which lead only to the third floor proper, they'd catch on the other side of the locked door a couple sets of footsteps rushing to it. Muffled chatter can also be heard, but with a clear tone of seriousness. Turns out not all the guards were distracted by concert, and they're closing in while the two are still in close quarters in the stairwell.

For his own part, Lemeza simply follows Crys along in hanging behind Sombra, but unlike Crys waiting for her disguise package, Lemeza just wants to close the gap between himself and his rightful prize.
Hector      That worked out a lot better than expected. Perhaps even TOO well as Hector gets pulled along by some of the security officers not quite doing their jobs. He can at least make the best of situation, though, considering the fact that he's not exactly dressed in area-appropriate attire.

"H... Heh. Right? I came all the way out here just to work on this!" He semi-lies, clearing his throat once before tightening the hold on the sideways spear to try and keep the security crowd under control. "Just don't get too close now! The talent needs room to perform, but feel free to cheer your hearts out!"
Silica     Silica starts doing some twirls and springs, letting her tail loop around her as she moves. She's a proper catgirl, after all! Work that tail! Pina does some little swoops and aerial acrobatics to add to the impromptu performance, the girl giving a polite smile to the crowd of guards.
Wandering Dog Well, that certainly is a problem. Wandering Dog is actually prideful at the door going so far, but as he overhears the chatter...looks like he's drawn attention. He taps Staren, moving to whisper. "I'll take care of them. You use my distraction to slip past."

Walking down the stairs calmly, the martial artist moves to approach the guards, and then start moving so that he can create a blindspot for Staren to slip past. "Ah, gentlemen! I take it this isn't the way to the restroom. Was wondering why it was locked." Wandering Dog continues to move forward to make a bigger blindspot, being loud enough for the guards to focus on him.

"Well, that's going to be a problem. I guess I can ask you for directions, right?" If the guards move in on him hostilely, Wandering Dog moves to start fighting them with his fists once they get close enough, loud as it is, to try and keep them busy and on him. He's moving away from striking them as hard as he could, holding back so he doesn't kill them. "The night's still young, so I guess we can dance it away a little, yeah?"
Sombra     Well well, seems the concert was just what they needed, huh? Stealthed Sombra watches as the guards run off to catch a peek at the show out front, leaving the security office. How considerate of them! Smirking for herself while still stealthed, the hacker silently makes her way into the security room, watching the sleeping guard and his bodies. It's going to be tricky, but well, she should be able to do this rather quietly... her stealth goes away as she's behind cover, crouching down and hiding herself somewhat, placing her hand on a server tower, a computer system... anything she can get to. And once she does, purple lines begin glowing on the tech as she lets her graft on her back doing its magic, her mind focused on the hacking and staying quiet. The radio is on her earpiece, but they will have to be satisfied with her not talking...

Immediately something gets sent over to Crys. Video feeds from the guards, complete with audio. Hopefully that should give her something to work with. And as for the security systems themselves... alarms are turned off, and the video feeds inside the security station? They show a repeated loop of absolutely nothing with altered timestamps, easy enough to do. While the cameras around in the museum only go to Sombra herself so she can monitor the situation, open and close doors as needed. Let's hope the others are quick before she's noticed... Because if she's noticed she will have no chance but to either translocate out or stealth.
Staren     If it comes down to getting caught, Staren's not THAT worried. What are they gonna do, arrest a cat? They'd probably just try to get him out of the building, and he can resume sneaking as soon as he's out of sight.

Still, it'd be an annoying setback. Cat-Staren nods to dog and continues sneaking. Stealth cat! Trying to get access to the main second floor area so he can have his drones scout it, but wary of security cameras on the way. A cat in a museum is a /little/ suspicious, after all.

And then Sombra transmits that she's taken control of all security measures. Cool beans! He shifts back to normal and just heads straight for the area where the stone is kept. They can basically just smash-and-grab it now if they have to, although he'd prefer a little finesse.
Yuna Kagurazaka Either Yuna is considerably more popular in this part of the Multiverse than she thought she was, or the guards were *REALLY* bored. Which ... makes sense, really.

She'll think about it more later. Right now, with a crowd of cheering fans gathering on the spur of the moment, Yuna smiles brightly, waving to the coalescing crowd, and keeps on singing with even more gusto.

o/~    I want to be the one who can always enfold you
And softly hide you in the inviting loneliness

    I've started getting impatient that
Time has flowed on since then, but ...

o/~    If emotions overlap a dazzling star
They can turn into a powerful love
So that the place where you walk by yourself
Can become something we're certain of

o/~    Now a shooting star flies across the night sky
If you see it, what will you wish for?
"No matter where you are, we're connected"
    Your words are revived

That chorus gives way to an instrumental bridge - and since it's a break in the lyrics, Yuna starts dancing, remembering the steps she's performed with this song as if she was practicing them just a few hours ago; while she may not have a proper stage, she twirls and skips, dancing along in front of the guards and Hector, looping back to 'center stage' before the final choruses ...

o/~    You who follow your dreams, I who watch over you,
The same star sheds its light on us both
I want to walk without looking back
Enduring my tears until I see you leave

o/~    Now a shooting star flies across the night sky
If you see it, what will you wish for?
The promise we exchanged when you started your journey
    Is always in my heart

She doesn't really *stop* dancing during the last choruses - still stepping back and forth lightly and gracefully, but mostly staying in one place, even as she finishes the last lyrics and the music fades out. She's already sorting out which song to lead into next ...
Miari     MIari boggles at how the security watchman is asleep... but smirks. Lucky for them, huh? She turns away from this station and 'hops' upwards, ghosting through the floor-ceiling to the second floor!

Kind of an anticlimatic useless turn of events for her in the security room, but now on the second floor she's on the prowl to go investigate some of those exhibits!
Count Kord     Kord has been here the whole time. Those that weren't paying attention may have missed the shadow slinking about the edges of rooms, hard to identify among all of the chaos. He moves to mask his presence by abusing his shadow powers, but can still be spotted if he isn't extra careful avoiding notice. He does have tells. He abuses his mobility and his ability to fly to track Staren's progress, and once he notices guards, he would endeavor to attract the attention of the guards /elsewhere/ from Staren's location.

    *Knock Knock*

Here and there, little shadowy hands manifest outside of vision and knock on walls or floors, drawing vision away from Staren so his chameleon cloak won't get spotted.
Crys Gattz Crys gets the data she needs she looks at them on her small for lack of a better term? Smart Phone, she then pockets it into her photon trap, making it vanish. She grins for a moment as she pictures the data in her mind, it was quite useful and she owes Sombra once. She makes several hand motions muttering something, in Japanese from the sounds of it. It is followed but a poofing sounds, as she takes on the on the apperance of one of the guards. One of the ones from the third floor to be exact.

Now cross-live action cosplaying. The Disguised Crys now will make her way into the building ascent natural like they should be there as she's making for the target zone on the second floor, she's also made sure to not use the appearance of any of the guards on the second floor nope she's using one of the ones from the third.

The Guard races on the the second floor as the guard comes in they look very troubled. Crys will try to get the attention of any guards who are not engaged with nay5tyhing her plan is to if she can get their attention lure them to the first floor.
Lemeza Kosugi The rent-a-cop mosh pit continues cheering wildly for Yuna as she keeps singing, but they REALLY get energized when Silica starts doing her catgirl dancing and bouncing around. It's the best thing these guys have ever seen! It's all Hector can do to keep Yuna's fans at bay, but the guards do at the very least respect the pole-that-is-totally-not-a-spear. Hey, maybe he could even charge for autographs from the pop stars?

This is almost too easy. Despite the cameras catching her heat signature for a couple seconds, Sombra gains the security room without anyone seeing her. Once Sombra's inside the security room, the guard on duty (yeah right) snores rather loudly, and makes that stereotypical "I'm about to wake up" sound before going back to sleep. Sombra ducks behind a server tower and works her magic. The camera feeds get rewritten successfully, Sombra gains what they're actually seeing, and a bank of lights indicating the various alarms and their 'armed' status goes completely dark. Looks like all defenses are down, and there's still nobody paying attention. The two guards on break are talking rather loudly though, complaining about the commotion outside.

While Wandering Dog gets wrapped up kung-fu fighting every guard at once on the third floor, Staren easily trots past them to the second floor stairwell. Thanks to Sombra's complete takeover of all the electronic systems, the cameras fail to detect either cat Staren or normal Staren. Upon gaining the second floor, though, Staren runs into a problem - the guards on the second floor are STILL doing their normal patrols, disregarding both the concert on the first floor and the brawl on the third. Fortunately, he's still out of direct sight in the stairwell, and can just make out a bit of the area in his vicinity! It helps that Count Kord shadows in along the walls and starts distracting the nearby patrol. Two of the four quadrants are visible to the duo, with cutouts in each to make room for the center pillar. No door though, must be on one of the other walls.

In one of the visible quadrants, there's a few display cases of various melee and ranged weaponry, with plaques below each describing its importance within the halls of La-Mulana. In the midst of all the weaponry is a large, prominent display showcasing a fist-sized stone seal with ancient markings. The plaque below the seal explains its purpose: "The Death Seal, as the last of the four seals representing the Cycle of Life, was instrumental in breaking the final seals blocking the way toward the Treasure of All Life. Upon claiming this, and thus having all four seals in his possession, Mr. Kosugi was able to clear the path and claim the ultimate treasure, on display in the center of the museum." Unfortunately, this is where all the guards on this side have congregated, thanks to Kord choosing that area to pull aggro toward.

The other quadrant visible to Staren reveals a similar setup - this time, it's various artifacts with a decidedly less obvious theme. Helpful plaques do explain the point of each and how they assisted in the exploration of La-Mulana, but still, seeing a weirdly shaped golden pear and a pregnant woman alongside a cog raises some questions. There's a couple things of interest, though. Underneath a silver pendant is inscribed the following on another plaque: "Isis' Pendant was used to call forth fairies within La-Mulana. They had a variety of uses, but primarily lent their aid in the form of healing, dispatching creatures within the ruins, and opening blocked pathways. Efforts to speak with the Fairy Queen who rules over them have so far yielded naught but the silent treatment." The other notable display is another stone seal: "The Life Seal, coming after Birth, is the third seal in the Cycle of Life. The honorable Professor Kosugi was rather tight-lipped about its use, though." No guards here, thank goodness.
Lemeza Kosugi Phasing up through the floor to reach where the super cool magic artifact toys are, Miari gets a full view of a third of the four quadrants. This one has the Origin Seal: "The Origin Seal was the first of four seals that the honorable Shawn Kosugi acquired in the ruins of La-Mulana. As the first of the seals in the Cycle of Life, it came into Mr. Kosugi's possession very early in his exploration, and helped to open paths previously closed off." That's not the coolest one though. A selection of plaques: "Though resembling many other Celtic crosses, the Crucifix specifically defended against hostile spirits in the ruins. This was likely used by previous civilizations in order to ward off bad omens." "This particular Scripture was designed as a counterspell for bats. Of all things. It was also used to significantly improve study ability in ancient times." "The Eye of Truth revealed various illusions concealed by magical means, to include the flying weasel-like A Bao A Qu and the false goddess statues within the ruins." And today, it has revealed Miari. Multiple guards immediately take aim with decidedly mundane pistols, trembling and aiming rather poorly as they were NOT prepared to see a floating glittery mist today!

As one of the third floor guards--oh, sorry, Crys disguised as one--comes down to the second, he's immediately accosted by a couple of them, who start dragging him toward the Kord commotion. Even with his efforts, guard-Crys only manages to draw a couple of them away. They do, however, follow /almost/ to the first floor when they, too, catch sight of misty silver Miari exposed by the Eye of Truth. This is actually enough to persuade them to follow Crys down to the first floor and AWAY from that terrifying anomaly... and toward where Lemeza has decided to show up! Assuming the coast was clear was a mistake, as Lemeza starts darting around corners, trying his damnedest not to be seen by the oncoming threat. Maybe they'll just walk on by...?
Yuna Kagurazaka Technically, charging admission would make it an 'official' concert, and given what her allies are up to, Yuna kind of feels like her audience is 'paying' enough already. Besides, if this were about selling tickets, she wouldn't be singing out on the street. ... okay, busking is technically a thing, but she's never really gotten a feel for how that's supposed to work.

Besides. She has to pick out her next song - although she comes up with one quickly enough, and her fingers dance over her phone's screen to cue it up as quickly as she can. There's a bit more of an instrumental lead-in to this one, but it's nice and energetic right from the start.

o/~    My rustling heart overflows with a melody like the wind
Vividly leading me to a tomorrow still unseen
If all the memories I draw are spun into the future,
Can I catch a smiling "someday" in a miracle?

Rather than dancing back and forth like she did during the first song's big bridge, Yuna is dancing more or less in place - but this song is peppy enough that just standing still and singing *really* doesn't seem to fit.

o/~    "I feel 'I need you,' I just miss you in my life."
    Don't pull away
Ah, let's go with our hands joined
To the place where our opened future gleams

She actually reaches up briefly as she spots Pina doing a wingover - and if the miniature dragon catches the gesture, maybe she can alight briefly on Yuna's hand, long enough for a quick twirl, almost as if Yuna's singing to the adorable critter for a moment ...

o/~    Flap your wings and fly, my heart
Changing sorrow and pain into gentleness
Don't be led astray, my way
The instant we met now shines brightly, transcending time with you
    Yes, forever ...
Silica     Pina folds her wings in, swooping around to alight on Yuna's finger, chirping along to the tune with that strange trilling chirrup she does. The dragonling holds on during the twirl, then leaps back into the air, doing a counter flight around Yuna as she twirls, starting low, and climbing higher before rolling out and returning to the aerobatics.
Miari     "Ooooooh." Miari's thankfulyl inaudible while intangible, but she isn't so terribly interested in the Origin Seal. Not just yet. Not until she's seen what else there is in this place!

However... a sensation like having fur and being pet the wrong way runs right down her spine and through her soul as she passes by two other exhibits. An irritated glare is aimed at the Crucifix. She has to skitter around it in a wide arc.

Which brings her unexpectedly into range of...

"... Oh dear." Upon reading that plaque, she frowns. And notices that her form is less transluscent than it ought to be. Just in time for two guards to point guns at her.

She LEAPS away from that artifact, hoping she'll land next to something less troublesome!

"Honestly... these things are of great worth. Priceless, even. I wonder..."

She has now been overtaken by curiosity, and that means she is now BEELINING for the central room with the ultimate treasure enshrined, so she can read its plaque and set her spiritual gaze upon it, perhaps understand its power!
Hector      The cover's working rather well, and Hector has to admit: The energy is infectious. He doesn't quite get what the appeal is in all of this, but... Well, whatever makes these kids happy. Yuna and Silica look like they're having fun, although something about all these security guards coming out to cheer at the girls unironically still rubs him the wrong way.

Whatever their reasons are, he continues standingfirmly to make sure the guards aren't getting too rowdy, but it does seem like things are going well enough with the decoy plan out here. Alas, money isn't quite so valuable to Hector as it would be for... Well, any of these guards. Hearing that little exchange between Lemeza and Crys has him wondering, however, and his focus on maintaining the barricade wanes!

<<"Status? Do we have any... Hmm. Rowdy people coming from the first?">> He speaks over the radio in vaguely coded language, the potential for that being misunderstood not lost on him at all. Still, considering how things are all going, it couldn't possibly go too badly. Maybe.

     Hopefully.
Staren     Staren makes a mental note to grab Isis's pendant on the way out. It sounds /vaguely/ useful to Concord R&D, at least.

But suddenly, there's a commotion as Miari is revealed somehow and guards focus on her.

Which means they're not looking behind them.

Staren runs over to put his hands on their shoulders and deploy his clothes' shock function, with an effect much like a taser. "Sorry. But this stuff doesn't belong here."
Count Kord     Realizing that things might be getting serious, Kord lures the guards into a single area as much as he can on that floor with soft knocking sounds, slipping around view so that he doesn't get directly spotted. Eventually, he decides to do something a little rude to them. Once he has them all in one place, he reaches out of the shadows, and encloses the guards in a box of shadows, then pulls it up to a dark corner of one of the rooms. And in that box, when the chaos calms down, he'll be standing, with that smile of his. Even the ones stunned by the others on the second floor get rounded up into the solid shadow box.

"Don't scream, or I kill you one at a time," he says, with a gentle smile.

"You really aren't paid enough to be heroes, and I won't hesitate to pluck your head from your shoulders."

Then he'd sit down seemingly on nothing, and stare at the guards in silent, unblinking interest, his vague silhouette contrasted by his glowing grin and eyes. "Do you like this job?" he wonders at them, conversationally.
Crys Gattz Crys Gattz may have tnot thought things entirely through though given her allies on the lower floor. It's too late now but guard crys will keep moving and hey these guys to her are showing more smarts by getting away from the scary magic thing. In their line of work that normally would meand you get eaten, soul stolen. The sot of thing as she heads down only now she knows she's made a heck of a goof here but it's too late to go back there.

Crys is in no way to reply verbally to the quetion from Hector but her comm gives a click for each of the few guards she managed to get to come with her, she's got a simple plan to restrain them, without killing them, at the very least. Might be a bit chilly but she's slowing down as she's trying to get them out of the building or find a cloest she cna lock them in, for a bit. Or hell if she gets lucky lead them right into Hector's care!
Lemeza Kosugi By now a few passing cars have parked, their occupants joining the chorus of cheering fans encouraging the performers on. One part of the crowd points and marvels at Pina doing acrobatics, while another section is focused on Yuna's singing and dancing. Cheers of "You're amazing!" and "when's your next formal concert?" can be heard through the shouting. As Hector loses a bit of focus on the barricade, the front of the mosh pit encroaches on Yuna rather dangerously, threatening to mob her and Silica and her pets if Hector doesn't regain focus fast enough.

Meanwhile, back on the second floor, Staren easily tasers the guards accosting Miari. A closer inspection of the display cases reveals that, though equipped with an alarm, it would be a simple matter to just lift the glass up and take the artifacts contained within. As Miari bounces away from the offending artifacts and into the central area, she catches sight of the door proper -- clearly an entryway, but instead of a traditional lock it has indentations for four seals, each roughly the same size as the Origin Seal, and with much the same markings. Something for later though. She bounds through the wall into the central room without effort, locating the grand prize: the Secret Treasure of Life, as described. Huh, there's not even a glass case around this one. It's just sitting there, waiting to be taken. There is, however, a plaque attached to the pedestal: "The Treasure of All Life. The ultimate treasure, retrieved by none other than the honorable Shawn Kosugi himself. It is theorized that all life on Earth was made using this amber crystal, but it is currently presumed inert." Huh. A bit anti-climactic for such an important object, but whatever. The only thing left now is to figure out how to remove it from the room.

Elsewhere on the second floor, Count Kord is having a bit of fun. There's plenty of room to corral the hapless guards in a prison of shadow, without getting in the way of any displays. They promptly ignore his warning of not screaming, though, as they start begging and pleading for their lives, so loudly in fact that the other floors can easily hear. Yeesh, talk about a bunch of cowards. And did several of them wet their pants? Who the hell hired these guys to guard such valuable and priceless artifacts?! The whole lot of them are basically blubbering like a bunch of babies, begging this evil shadow-demon to spare them.

The last group of guards, up until now following Crys's lead to the first floor, break into a full-on panic when they hear the desperate cries for salvation above. Losing patience with their leader's slow pace, they opt instead to break into a dead sprint for the front door, screaming like lunatics the entire way. And, oh hey, they dropped their weapons. They run right past Lemeza, whose heart skips a beat in fear as they completely ignore the archaeologist on their way out to sanity, not even pausing to wonder why that one guard didn't also flee in terror. Thanking his lucky stars, Lemeza takes this opportunity to gain the second floor stairs and make sure the coast is actually clear before proceeding.
Staren     Huh. Looks like security on the artifacts is pretty simple. While looking them over, Staren suddenly realizes that something messed up an /exalt/ and decides to go check that, and finds that frankly, that quadrant is full of cool stuff. A cross that wards off spirits and yet is somehow from 'previous civilizations', perhaps before this world's Christianity? Interesting! A spell to study better? Cool! A ward that reveals Exalted! Nice! Staren grabs it all, and the fairy pendant, before investigating the last quadrant. To think, all this stuff is just sitting here, and someone's charging people to gawk at it, instead of studying its workings and sharing the knowledge with all! Tsk tsk.
Count Kord     Kord smiles lightly as the group of guards starts wailing and crying and screaming. He laughs in an unnervingly jovial way, because he knows nothing is going to happen to them. They haven't done anything worth killing them for, and he can easily lie to intimidate a few worthless mooks. The arrogant delight is quite evil-sounding, but he isn't doing anything more than briefly terrorizing them.

"I'll just leave you to that while I take care of the friends you attracted to this spot," he tells them, "I told you not to scream~"

One lie compounded with another, just to further terrorize them. He steps back through the solid shadow like a ghost, leaving them in the sturdy magical darkness until such a time as everyone gets to leave. He makes sure to take great care not to approach the artifact that looks like a cross over there, though... The Crucifix projects an aura of Back Off even to him. Guess he qualifies as a hostile spirit.

Not hard to imagine, considering how he treated the guards.
Yuna Kagurazaka This has *definitely* turned into a bigger concert than Yuna thought it would - and honestly, the crowd is getting closer than she likes, even if she *is* largely absorbed in the music. She doesn't *do* mosh pits; she's a pop idol singer, not a rocker! And seriously, while she *could* transform if she's actually in danger, she really would prefer not to - it's easier to pass all this off as a random performance if she stays in civvies from start to finish. So she has to trust Hector to keep the crowd away - and really, they are far too close to a 'mob' for her comfort.

.... in fact, it's discomforting enough for that rarest of calamities to strike - Yuna actually blanks for a split second on the next line of the lyrics. And when the instrumental track is just a recording, there's pretty much *no* recovery. One of the questions is shouted at just the right moment for her to play it off, though, and Yuna manages to give them that winning smile as she replies, "Check the Multiversal Tour page on my website! We'll be coming to a world near you soon, and I'll let my manager know there's a lot of interest in these parts!" The reply buys her some time to stop playback on her phone, but rather than actually *stopping* it, she winds up pulling a different track.

... well, she needs to buy a little more time for her allies to get away. Probably. And the music that starts up is for a more sedate song - hopefully that'll let the crowd settle down some, too. Yuna snaps her fingers a few times in rhythm with the intro, and begins singing her last song of the night:

o/~    If the sky were crying in your stead,
I'd become the ocean so I could embrace it

o/~    Even if my map is sucked away into the storm
Your back stands now as my guidepost

o/~    Like the moon and the sun, whether separated or close
Don't I catch the light at this range?

o/~    Smile, smile, always watching, watching all along, at any time
Smile, smile, wanting to believe, wanting to feel, always
Smile, smile, we can share both happy mornings and sad nights
I can't forget your smile; I can not live without you forever
Miari     Miari, having slipped PAST the actual seal, ponders whether there isn't a way to open the door Easily from the inside after laying eyes on the brightest of treasure she's seen in some time. So shesets about working on said door. If there's no way to open it more simply (like a door knob or handle...) and no magical protections in place here.... she'll simply focus her mind-hands to be sharp like a scalpel and heated, and start CARVING a path DOWNWARDS through the floor...

Either way, ONLY once she's secured a way OUT is she willing to reach out with her mind-hands and touch the Treasure, to disrupt it at all. Because she wants to be able to BOLT if it decides to erupt with power or something outrageous!

She plans ahead for contingencies, after all!
Crys Gattz Guard Crys watches the other guards run out, dropping their weapons and booking it, they are out of the picture not harmed physically and hey that's all good for her. Most of these people were likely just working for a paycheck to get by.

They now have had a little excitement int heir lives too and likely have no more taste for it. The Guard that is actually crys? Walks over to the dropped weapons, makes sure they are not in danger of going off then keeps on their way.

With that taking a hop skip and a spring in their step. She'll make for the second floor, she doesn't intend to run off with anything really and if she does, she'll see it falls back into the museums hands in getting found by police later. She's more just enjoying getting out in the field again.
Lemeza Kosugi The cheering of the crowd doesn't die off any, but their aggressiveness does - with the sedate tempo of Yuna's final song, they cool off and back off, instead swaying in unison as they continue enjoying the concert. A few of them punch in a reminder on their phones to keep an eye on the news for upconing Kagurazaka concerts. One of the guards turns to look at the screaming loons fleeing the museum, but shrugs with a puzzled look as he turns back to the music. Looks like Yuna's made some hardcore fans.

Yoink, loot, dibs, claim. Staren makes off with plenty of unique artifacts for later study. And then makes his way to the remaining unexplored quadrant. As would be expected, centrally located is another stone seal. "The Birth Seal is the second, not the first, of the seals of the Cycle of Life. When Shawn Kosugi obtained this, he was already well into unlocking the secrets of La-Mulana." Situated around the seal are a few artifacts related only by being from the ruins: "The Book of the Dead was a gift from a member of the seventh generation of Mother. This book granted the bearer immunity from the death magic of the Anubii in the ruins." Wouldn't this have gone better with the Death Seal? Oh whatever, there's still other artifacts to mess with. "While rumors circulate that the Lamp of Time can stop time for several seconds if the flame is lit, all attempts to reignite it have met with failure. The honorable Shawn Kosugi claims it helped him in his explorations, but we at Eight Generations have no existing means of verifying this claim." And there's also a dark red shoulerpad-looking thing: "The Spaulder is claimed to be a holy artifact that blessed the wearer's attacks with a divine power, lending extra power in battle. Appears to have only been used in a single battle." A messy hodgepodge, but considering who management hired for security, it's not too surprising.

Speaking of security. The poor saps who had previously been shrieking in horror at their expected fate suddenly clammed up, perhaps in the vain hope that Count Kord would forgive their insolence. Or maybe it wasn't so vain... although, now they've doomed their buddies. They begin sobbing quietly upon realizing this, continuing to look like the saddest state of affairs anyone's seen this side of the Multiverse.

While the /outside/ of the central room was warded off by seals, the /inside/ happened to have a door handle for safety, to prevent anyone from being trapped inside. Opening the door from the inside worked like any other door, and it simply opened. Miari has her escape route, and is able to claim the Treasure of Life without incident. Despite all its power and its central role in this world's existence, it's very stable.

And with Lemeza emerging on the second floor and seeing his objective already claimed, he motions toward Miari to get the hell out of Dodge! He follows up and calls on the radio to similar effect, "Anyone still in the museum, take what you plan on taking and let's move! Our mission's complete!" With that, he turns about and makes for the exit, hopefully with everyone else in tow. He's made a mental note of that shadow terror prison, though, and will certainly rememebr who took those drastic measures...
Staren     Staren drops the faerie amulet like a hot potato when Lemeza says the fairy queen doesn't like the Concord.

It's just better to not deal with fey.

A book, spaulder, and lamp of questionable efficacy though? Sure, he'll take those for Concord study.

Since the guards are busy or tased, he'll just make his way out the back door. Seems like it should be a cakewalk from here!
