Tutela     It's a nice simulated afternoon in the small town of Mordion Gaol. It's pretty simplistic... small buildings housing people, small buisnesses, giant chapel-like place... and in the background, that seems to go on into infinite is a grey slab and every so often one would see something that looks like helicopters and other flying machines float around the top of the grey slab. It ... looks almost quaint if it wasn't for the grey slab of a building.

Meanwhile, Tutela's at least /seen/ everyone who's coming and let everyone down to her drive, standing in front of the Gaol's main doors near the chapel-like place. The fluffy pajama wearing teen, with the sleepy look upon her face gives a smile that could be off putting. "Hello everyone." she chimes out in a sleepy voice... There's a slightly taller girl nearby in what looks to be office-workers clothing... pencil skirt, proper blouse... the /total opposite/ of Tutela.

The 'elder' looking one bows a bit and starts, "Hello. Welcome to the Iron Drive, Mordion Gaol. I'm Cautio, Tutela's younger sister and the secretary of the Cathoderal. For those who don't know, this is Tutela, the Iron Drive's Drive Core Controller, the DCC."
Silica     Keiko hasn't transformed yet! The slightly taller, though not much older looking girl walks after the others, looking around with her brown eyes in a bit of awe. The town is a nice place. It kind of reminds her of the area her parents usually went to on vacations in the mountains. But that giant grey slab of a building overshadowing it makes her nervous.

Over her right eye and hooped around the side and back of her head is a strange looking eye-piece. It flickers with information that Keiko can look at, and overlays whatever it can codify with little nameplates or cursor icons where applicable. It doesn't have CARDINAL directly assessing things, but has enough onboard processing to at least mark the others as 'Player' cursors, and the various townsfolk she passes as 'NPC-Friendly'. "Hello Miss Cautio. I'm Keiko Ayano, but most people know me as Silica." she replies, bowing politely.
Mei Hatsume A new stranger is on the case today! It's... A pink-haired teenager with way too much gear attached to her: Odd-looking harnesses for her arms and legs, giant boots that look like rocket boots from 90s comics, a metallic backpack with yet more stuff dangling off of it, and... A notebook!

The notebook looks fairly tame, at least. She's writing in it rapidly as Tutela and Cautio speak, her gaze going every which way at the unfamiliarity of all the new stuff surrounding her. Strange people, strange architecture, strange... Everything!

"Iron Drive, Mordion Gaol, Drive Core Controller... What do all these words stand for? Are they important here?" She looks straight at Cautio as she says that, wide-eyed and instense!
Lexicon One hour ago
"Aw, c'mon!" Index thrusts her hands down her sides, stamping a foot, "You never let us go anywhere cool!"

"I said no and that's final," Lexicon states as she steps out of the Silver Cathoderal, "You're much too young to be spending any amount of time around programs like that. I won't allow it." Silver light surrounds her, scattering as she's transformed into her red-eyed Digital Divinity, "Stylono, keep an eye on them. I don't want them sneaking out this time." And with that, she takes to the skies of Britannica on wings of light.

Now
'The last thing I need is those two picking up habits from unsavory influences,' Lexicon thinks to herself, banking above the Mordion Gaol. The System's quarantine drive, where viruses are sent for eventual extermination or rehabilitation. But viruses aren't what the Silver DCC is concerned about.

Red eyes fix on Tutela as she descends.

'Yeah, I need to keep them away from her.'

Lexicon descends in the street itself, transforming out of her Digital Divinity once her feet touch the roadway. With a much more conservative appearance, she approaches Tutela and Cautio, "Good afternoon, you two." Her eyes travel, examining the pool of guests, though she says nothing of immediate greeting. Silica's human form isn't recognized, and she only met Miari once.
Miari A Prison isn't normally on Miari's visitation list, but if it's in the mysterious System... she'll make an exception! The covert Infernal's trying to make some efforts to de-stress and return to her kinder demeanor!

Too much stress is not good for anyone.

So the would-be ruler returns the bow upon coming to a stop. She's dressed in her usual ornate emerald kimono and this time bears a warm and friendly smile. "Miari of Melekin! Sorceress."
Kotone Yamakawa It was a nice day in Mordion Gaol, Kotone thought a she arrived. It looked much like her own home town when she thought of it. Well at least it hit the same sort of beats at the very least. She was not wearing stealth armour today just some fairly casual clothing really and she was arriving a bit after Miari was. She takes a moment to introduce herself.

Kotone Yamakawa and Kotone has not seen Silica human form before and had no /idea/ whom she was at leas not until she spoke that is. There is quite the look of suprise on her face, she then remebers herself.

"Kotone Yamakawa, operative with the Paladins."
Tutela     New strangers are always welcome! As long as they don't cause trouble that is. Tutela smiles and looks towards her initial target of happiness. Keiko. Tutela just wanders over towards her and smiles, before giving Keiko a hug. "Keiko~" comes her sleepy voice in greeting to her 'friend'. "Tutela's glad you came, I'm glad I didn't scare you off." the next person of interest though, is Mei... the weird person writing down faster than she could probably think...

"You're in the Iron Drive right now. It's called Mordion Gaol." comes Cautio's voice, "This is the system drive that handles all the viral problems in all the other drives in the system. As such, Tutela's got a mostly free pass to do as she needs to. What you see right now is her passive state."

"Sister... don't... call me passive." "HRK.... Sorry sis. Anyways... she stays in the background of all the drives and makes sure none are hindered by viruses."

Tutela smiles, "As such, I have my own resources that the other four can't have. Or get to." a grin is given to Lexicon, "First time down here, Lexie?" she teases, before turning to Miari, Cautio speaks, "Hello Miari." and then to Kotone, "And Kotone. IT's good to have you both here. I trust we can get the tour started?"
Mei Hatsume More unfamiliar faces! Technically, all of these faces are unfamiliar, but Mei's still taking notes nonetheless. She does stop after a little while longer, though, and listens to the exchange between the sisters and the rest of the guests.

It's getting hard to tell who's a local and who isn't just by appearance.

"A tour sounds perfect! Maybe we can even see you in action on the way. That would be a great learning opportunity!" She chimes in enthusiastically, getting her notebook prepared again while looking towards Tutela in particular.

THere has to be some reason this younger girl's the leader of this place.
Silica     Keiko freezes when Tutela comes closer. The hug feels like a statue, the human's eyes wide with terror. When Tutela's attention is elsewhere, the girl moves closer to Cautio, lifting her hand to press a button on her eyepiece. "L-Link Start!" she commands, becoming engulfed in a wireframe that spreads from the Augma. As it spreads, it's followed by the textures filling in, cat ears, tail, armour and everything that the others would recognize as Silica, the Cait Sith beast tamer. "I-I'm ready for the tour." she replies to the younger security program, tail poofed out and ears pinned back.
Lexicon     "Yes, actually," Lexicon answers Tutela directly, "My first actual visit, anyway. There was that one time the System Tower appeared here, but we didn't get much actual visitation done that time." Her hands drape at her sides, disappearing inside her jacket's oversized sleeves, "But it has been a long time, hasn't it? How have you been? Busy?"

Yeah, she's already aware Tutela's personality isn't exactly the hard-working type. But pleasentries are the norm between Drive leaders.

The transformation that KEiko undergoes draws her attention. Once it's complete, she brightens a bit, "--Ah. Silica, it's you. I didn't realize." Head tilting, she nods towards Tutela, "It's not surprising, though, considering some of us Drive Core Controllers also change dramatically when we transform." ... "Though I didn't realize you could transform at all. What's the mechanism for it? I didn't think you used system resources."

"Ah, Miari, good to see you again." She acknowledges the magician, "And Yamakawa, too." She doesn't know Mei, so she simply greets the new arrival with, "Miss."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I would be happy to get the tour started it should be a learning experiance."

She looks to Mei for a moment grinning slighltyu before turning back to their host she seems to be in good spirits either way She looked over to SIlica for a moment and pauses as Silicia transforms before hee eyes.

"...Huh so that's the actual you?"

She notes tO suilica before she falls in with Miari for the tour. Sjhe also gives LExicon a look.

"Good to see you as well Lexicon."
Miari "Viral problems? The word is unfamiliar to me! I'm assuming some kind of dangerous creature...?" Miari's quick to guess that, given only so many things could be kept in a 'prison'...

Silica's transformation gets a very sharp examination while it lasts. No doubt THAT was studied with more than just mundane senses!
Tutela     Tutela blinks, this wasn't what she was expecting when hugging Keiko, but when she sees her scoot over to Cautio... Cautio moves to hug Silica close, "Tutela... don't scare people. You want to make friends, yeah?" "But she /is/ my friend." "Sigh."

Cautio shakes her head and looks towards Lexicon, "Tutela's been busy, surprisingly." comes the 'elder' looking one as Tutela looks a bit confused... "Ah, Tutela's busy... but I had time... to show you all around!" The two turn around and point to the Cathodedral.

"This is the Iron Cathoderal. It's where I do all the work and send Tutela out where she needs to go. I also run the prison you see beyond that. All the Kernals and AVI's help." comes Cautio's voice as Tutela looks towards Miari, "Viruses... our dangerous creatures, yes. While we all deal with it, it's a specialty of mine to destroy them..." at least, when she's not transformed. "I could transform and show you~"

    "Tutela, no..."
Mei Hatsume Keiko's transformation into Silica draws a curious stare from the inventor, and Mei stares right at her the entire time. "... Whoa. That's an interesting power right there! Good marketability, too, if you're going for that sort of appeal." Some scribbling in her notebook later, and then Mei pauses to look towards Lexicon next. "Ah, so all of you are these Drive Controllers, then? And your common power is transformation... With as much variety, too?" She looks expectantly towards Kotone and Miari, apparently getting the wrong idea about just how many of the people here can even transform in such a way.

Still, she can't let herself get too distracted yet. No, showing is better than just telling, and the inventor clears her throat before turning her attention back towards the tour. She peers over at the Cathodedral, activating her Quirk: Zoom to get a much closer look at it while standing right where she is! "That's a good one... What kinds of prisoners do you handle here?" She blinks a few times to readjust her eyes to normal vision again, then turns to Tutela and Cautio. "Are they the sorts that you need a special police force to capture? Ones that might be in need of special equipment?"
Silica     Silica looks back to Lexicon. "Hello Miss Lexicon." she replies, smiling at the DCC she first met so long ago. "The transformation thing is kind of new... my world changed recently and now... this." she replies. "I'm, basically 'wearing' my ALO avatar... it acts like a layer of armour, but if I get hurt like this, it hurts for real... and if I die like this well..." she shudders a little bit. "It doesn't need anything special like your System Resources." She looks over at Mairi and Mei. "U-Um..." she shuffles uncomfortably under the scrutinty.
Lexicon     "Tutela, no, I don't think that's necessary."

Lexicon clears her throat briefly behind a fist, then drops her hand to her side. To Mei, she shakes her head, "No, we are not 'all' Drive Core Controllers. Tutela and myself are. A DCC is a leader. The controller of a Drive. Think of us like governers. Tutela runs this Drive. I'm visiting from a neighboring Drive called Britannica." Closing her eyes, she gestures, "I can give you the full run-down later, but there's several Drives and each one has a Drive Core Controller."

She appraises Silica as well, nodding at the Cait Sith's explenation, "I see, I see. So it just started happening on its own. Well--" With a shrug, she adds, "It seems to be useful, at the very least. I'll make sure to keep your risks in mind if you continue to help me out."

As Cautio explains viruses, she adds on her own, "Monsters. They're our world's monsters."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa sadly can't transform in the way Silicia did but he can chance just it takea a good deal longer. She looks back at Mei with a sheepish look upon her face. She falls ibn now and semes curious about Silicia's answer.

"So it's oyu but added to basically. I think I get it, still very impressive." She looks to Miari.

"Typoe of monster here though it's kinda like malicous programs on computers, my sense of reality gets conbfused in worlds like this I admit. Then again I'm more data than anything else at this point."
Miari Picking up on Silica's shyness, Miari's gaze softens. "Sorry. Special abilities like those always catch my interest. Irresistible to a Sorceress! And so are dangerous creatures.... they usually have mystical properties. All kinds of uses for artificing! I wonder, is it similar with these virii?"
Tutela     With the distraction that is Keiko going Silica, both Cautio and Tutela look at each other curiously, then back at everyone. Tutela smiles, "Shall we continue?" she questions, though Mei's question gets a happy look from Tutela herself... and as she opens her mouth, Cautio speaks, "We don't normally need a police force to handle the viruses that happen here. Each DCC, Tutela included..." Tutela pouts... "handle the viruses their own way, those that get caught by Tutela get turned over here for processing and..."

"I torture them." Tutela flatly says, "We handle viruses from the small Malvaders to big things like Omega Panzer, a supervirus." she seems a bit proud on this. "Caught that one doing something... not so nice. So I took care of him~"

Cautio sighs, "Yes, you did well. Anyways, we don't normally need special equipment, what we use seems to be good enough, but if your'e good at development, maybe new processors to help with the ever shifting elemental advantage some viruses take." she gives a shrug then turns towards Lex, mouthing a thank you. "She's right, Tutela and Lexicon there are DCC's of their respective Drive, something we can discuss later."

Tutela looks towards Miari "You... want to use these viruses for making artifacts? I... don't think that's possible but I think I can lend you some beaten up viruses for the attempt!"
Mei Hatsume With that clarification from Lexicon, Mei nods slowly and scribbles out something in her notebook, then scribbles yet more things. "Multiple Drive Core controllers... I see! And you use... Processors?"

For better or for worse, she doesn't touch on the torture comment yet. "Now, is that like computer processors, or is that a different name for something like this?" She gestures at the harnesses under her arms and legs. "Because if it's things like these, then we mgiht be able to work something out! I'd need your measurements, though, and some time to do some independent research in the area to make sure there's enough investors around, maybe a closer look at these viruses to see what you'd be up against..."

There's an odd sort of grin on Mei's face. It's the type usually worn by someone that's thinking way too many steps ahead and going much too far ahead of themselves.
Eryl Fairfax     The sound of running feet hits the ears of those already assembled. Eryl Fairfax is here, fashionably late as he runs through the quaint streets on his way to the oppressive slab that dominates the skyline. He stops before the group, taking a moment to inhale a deep breath of digital air before peaking.

"Apologies for being late," he says, inclining his head to Tutela and the other tourists. "A meeting went a little longer than planned. I'm sorry." He runs a hand through his hair, immediately getting it all neat again in a single motion, before dusting down his clothes to brush out any creases.

"I hope I did not keep you waiting. Shall we begin the tour?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks to their host for a moment at the mention of torture of the viri? She grimaces a little bit she doesn't say much and the welcome distraction from the topic just was mention, comes up. That being Eryl she grins widly at Eryl for a moment. "Good ti see you Eryl." She also give Mei another look and she seems to be enjoying herself the talk about the Viri basiclaly fades away at thispint as she getsback into enjoying the tour.
Miari "It's worth a try with one or two, right?" Miari responds hopefully, a savant's hunger for knowledge burning in her eyes! "What use do they have normally? Usually creatures tough enough to threaten an Essence user are worth SOMETHING..."

Upon spotting Eryl, she executes a minor show of respect - a faint bow hardly worth notice.
Tutela     With Eryl finally joining, Tutela gives a bright smile. "Hi, Eryl!" she says casually, "It's okay, we're sort of just starting the tour so you didn't miss much!" Cautio nods a bit, "We're just passing the Cathoderal and we're going to enter Mordion Gaol properly." as Cautio presents the giant, oppressive slab of grey that is in the background. "Before we enter, the current main drives: Britannica, Locus, Cadenza, Vector and Arcade, all fight for system resources, the resources that allow all of the DCC's to transform."

"Tutela and Mordion Gaol itself has their own resources, seperate from them, so she doesn't have to deal with the petty fighting for resources up there." a pause comes from Cautio, turning to Lexicon, "With all due respect, Lady Lexicon." she gives a bit of a weak smile and continues on, moving the group to the door of Mordion Gaol. "Let's come in. I must ask that all weapons be stowed and please, don't feed the inmates."

Tutela looks towards Miari, "They don't have any use aside from breaking their spirits and destroying them~" she smiles, "Sometimes they may drop some useful things that we can use to make medicine and the like from, but for the most part... I enjoy what I do." she turns to Mei and nods, "It's the name for our armor when we transform. We equip them before hand and when we transform, we get them on. I think I have a spare set of Iron Processors around for you to experiment with~"
Silica     Silica remains quiet. Listening to that happy, sleepy voice saying such things is a juxtaposition she doesn't quite care for... but she does as Cautio suggests and keeps her dagger sheathed at the small of her back, just above the emergence point of her tail from the hem of her skirt. "I only feed cute things I'm trying to tame." she says to the younger sister, falling into position with the others and trying to keep a low profile.
Lexicon     "No offense taken," Lexicon states evenly to Cautio, "I disagree, but I can see how it could be seen as 'petty' from an outside perspective. Honestly I feel like the competition keeps us from growing complacent. Keeps us from getting weak." Eyes closing, she gestures, "I mean, Tutela here would have even more work to do if the other DCCs couldn't even beat a simple virus."

She drops her hand, which disappears inside her sleeve while she follows along. "I figured a viral prison wouldn't be appropriate, so I left my little sisters at my own Cathoderal. There's no need to worry about me breaking any rules." A sidelong glance, "Though, Tutela-- I've been trying to get rid of Omega Panzer for a while now. Where'd you find him?"

To Miari, she commends, "It's as Tutela says-- Some viruses produce things we can use in development. So hunting them down for these things can save a lot of time otherwise spent developing materials traditionally. That's the closest thing I can think of to what you're talking about."
Eryl Fairfax     Eryl looks about as Tutela leads the way, rubbing his chin and nodding as she explains that Mordion Gaol has a seperate pool of Resources that the other Drives don't fight over. "Excellent. Ensuring that Systems that carry out services vital to all has enough Resources to function is vital." Privately, he's wondering why all the Drives don't do something similar. If each one has a function that the others can't live without, the Resource fights would end, as attacking anyone else means robbing yourself of their function... although, he does have a question.

"You say that you have a separate Pool. How did that come about? Is that the result of infrastructure, or happenstance?" He would very much like to know. After all, there is a certain Tower that likes to leach off Reources... if a separate pool could be made elsewhere and the Tower lured to it... they could just let it sit there.

And that line about 'breaking spirits?' That makes him frown slightly. "Does Mordion Goal have rehabilitation programs of any kind? Any incentives for prisoners to turn their lives around, develop skills to function upon release?"
Mei Hatsume Another unfamiliar face! Or... Barely familiar, anyway, what with the news channels suddenly getting an influx of CHANNELS from around the Multiverse. Mei peers at Eryl for a moment as he arrives, that confident grin of hers probably indicating that she's PLOTTING something.

She's just not acting on anything yet. Instead, she gives him a polite enough wave and biiiig smile, then turns to Tutela and Cautio as they continue speaking of the region.

"Fighting for resources, then... Hmm. Healthy competition can be great for development and training, that's for sure! It's not quite a war or anything on that level, though, is it?" There's another grin turned to Tutela, and the inventor adjusts the goggles atop her head. "Oh, perfect! Maybe I can learn something from these... Sounds convenient not having to wear them all the time, then."
Miari "That is exactly what I'm talking about!" Miari all but beams at Lexicon, twirling around to shine that eager look at her instead! "And what manner of creations come from such materials?"
Tutela     Tutela looks towards Lexicon, blinking. "I found him... somewhere~" she chuckles, "I found him, he was uncooperative... and I beat the crap out of him~" all of this said in that sleepy, sweet voice. "Tutela, you know when you say it like htat it sends shivers up my back." comes Cautio's tiny... tiny reprimand. "Sorry~!"

Cautio looks towards Eryl with that question, "There's a few... theories on that... one that before the first system crash, we were just inactive and we just got activated... another is that Tutela, being the security DCC, has to have her own resources." she gives a bit of a shrug, "There's a lot that can go down, but... maybe Lexicon might have more info in Britannica. She /is/ the knowledgeable one. After all, she runs the drive of knowledge."

Tutela responds to the other comment though, from Eryl. "Re..habilitation?" she blinks, "No. Viruses deserve to be deleted. THough, there seems to be one in Britannica... Christmas... that /seems/ to work fine, but... I don't know. I may have to go say 'Hi' after this." she gives a bit of a smile, "The tower, however, hasn't come to Mordion Gaol, but it came close, attacking the hub."

Cautio moves in, raises her hand, "Drive Core Controller Iron Soul and her Secretary entering Mordion Gaol. Initiate Level 3 lockdown procedures." sirens go off in Mordion Gaol's proper prison, viruses that were once roaming are herded into cells by the floating Kernels and AVI's. "We'd like to welcome you to the main feature of the drive, the Prison."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa :is also taking in the wights as they go, there's quite a bit to take in an learn. she also hears a boit more about the Viri and just what happens with them. She's not sure what to think about it this is however an alien world and given the feel of this world? Maybe the Viri really have no place but then again who knows what those things could do to someone like herself. She looks over ot Eryle for a moment and humms. He's maybe in the best place to ask some of the questions she wnatd to ask so she's intently paying attentiont o what happens there.
Eryl Fairfax     Eryl has to agree with Cautio on this one. Hearing someone in a position of such authority talk so sweetly about beating criminals is a little concerning. He keeps his mouth shut though, not wanting to police things more than needed.

It always comes back to the System Crash, doesn't it? Eryl sighs a little through his nose and scratches his head. One of these days, he is going to have to go through the entirety of Britannica's knowledge to figure things out. Likely soon, if the System Tower issue continues without resolution.

The call is put in, the viruses lead back to their cells, and the party enters. Eryl begins to look around, glancing momentarily into cells to gauge what they contain. Not just in terms of prisoners, but in terms of utilities, entertainment, etc. He also does his best to gauge the mood of the prisoners, something that may be hard given the inhuman nature of some. But he's trying!
Lexicon     "Each Drive has a set amount of resources it receives," Lexicon adds on to Cautio's statement, for Eryl's benefit, "Controlling the Hub allows any DCC to direct additional resources however they wish. It's natural for us to direct the excess to our own Drive, but if I was in control, I could choose to direct resources to the Onyx Drive, or the Amethyst Drive, if I really wanted to." Lifting a hand, she gestures, "It seems like the Iron Drive gets a rather large 'set' amount, and has no need to compete for any additional Resources. This may be due to its role as a security-oriented Drive. That's my theory, anyway. This kind of decision would allow Tutela to focus more on anti-viral work instead of vying for resources like the rest of us." Glancing at Eryl, she adds, "So my theory is that it's intentional."

Her hand lowers, eyes closing, "Christmas is perfectly well-behaved. I keep a very close eye on her for that exact reason. Thus far she's been content running a souvenier shop filled with memerobilia from the System Tower's various floors."
Mei Hatsume "These viruses... Hmm. Well, it'll make more sense when we see them, I guess!" Mei slips her goggles on and checks her assorted harnesses and gear on her limbs as the security systems start kicking in, barely even flinching when the sirens go off. "Still, having all this stuff prepared just for a tour... You must be super confident in your systems, then. Have there ever been any breakouts?"

Even without an answer, that question probably does explain why she's checking her gear over in the first place.

".. Oh! And these system resources... Are they the sort of thing that you can only get around here, or can you find them in other worlds? Do they... Do anything on their own for people that aren't from here?"
Miari "These resources you keep speaking of... what form do they take in this world? I would say Essence, food, building materials for Creation..." Miari seems to be very confused as well as curious about this world, that's for sure.
Tutela     Inside the cells, they're ... about the same as normal, human cells. Though there seems to be adequate room for them to move around and such. So it's not /completely/ inhumane. There's books and other entertainment things around... and then there's a room that has some pretty good damage around it, above it, there's a flashing warning sign and the words: 'Level 4 Quarrantine, For Iron Soul's Access only'. "If she gets out of hand, I'll take care of her." comes Tutela's comment.

Cautio shakes her head a bit, "So if we continue on, I'll show you the control room. I usually handle everything that goes on here. Tutela's the one who brings them here and does the... dirty work." she nods, moving on. "That room right there houses Omega Panzer." as she points to the damaged room. "And there's a variety of other viruses here and there. They're reguarly fed and have humane treatment while they're in here.. Until Tutela has their turn."

"When they act out, you know." comes the response as Tutela moves ahead, pressing a few buttons on a door and there's an elevator. "All aboard!" though Tutela turns to look at Mei and Miari, "Essence would probably be the closest thing I can think of! And I only know that system resources are made within the System. We can transform outside the system with relay nodes but those are /expensive/ to make!"
Lexicon     "Energy," Lexicon answers Miari, "It's energy that runs the Drives and powers a DCC's Digital Divinity." Glancing over her shoulder, she comments, "You've seen me transform. That's Digital Divinity, courtesy of my Hyper Divinity Driver."

As the group passes the room assigned to Omega Panzer, Lexicon pauses to peer inside. The occupant barely fits into the cell-- because it's a spider tank, in some state of disrepair. Noting the observation, it swings its targeting scope around, displaying a stylized face, "Oh. The Britannica DCC." His voice is smooth, with a vague accent and a digital twang, "This is a surprise." The digital face flicks from surprise to an unpleasant grin, "I'll be sure to pay you a visit in return, soon."

Lexicon frowns and moves along, without a word, moving to the next cell occupied by an absurdly beefy, tiny cat person with wings, pumping weights. She steps into the elevator and folds her hands together, folding her hands together. "It's always troublesome when a virus gets that strong. I'm glad you've got that one under quarantine, Tutela. When is it due for deletion?"

"Oh," that voice resounds from down the hall, "In about sixteen cycles or so. Though I'm afraid that schedule may be delayed, Lady Silver Soul."
Mei Hatsume The cells, as expected, get long curious looks from Mei. Said looks don't last very long, though, as the cells look... Fairly tame, all things considered. The damaged room gets a little more attention, but the explanation as to what caused it is significantly more interesting to the inventor than the room itself!

"Miss Tutela's got a real hands on approach, huh? That's just like some of the Heroes back home." Mei adjusts her goggles, then looks over at Cautio and lowers her voice to stage whisper. "Is it all legal, then?" It's important information for someone that might be putting her name on things here!

"Essence...? Never heard of it. But if it's that limited, then... We can figure that out later, too."
Eryl Fairfax     The Grandmaster listens close to Lexicon, nodding along with her explanation. "I see, I see..." Thoughts are buzzing in his head as he considers how to make each Drive invaluable to each other, along with the question of 'should they be?' Co-operation is usually preferable to conflict, but some of the other goddesses are... eccentrics. If not thing, some other form of conflict may brew, something more ideologically-based, which is always messier. A back-and-forth over resources may be preferable... but perhaps it wouldn't hurt to try. "Lexicon," he says. "Does Britannica have a newspaper, or other form of public information dispersion?"

Eryl nods with satisfaction at the cells. Reasonable amounts of comfort, privacy, and means of passing the time. The sight of the damaged door gives him pause, until the contents are explained. "I would recommend reinforcing it further when you get the chance. The tiniest amount of structural damage can make a jailbreak easier if not attended to," he says as he boards the elevator.
Tutela     Tutela nods slightly, "Sixte..." she blinks, when Omega Panzer speaks in turn... she frowns at this and her feather blades come into view. "You know I caught you once, and I'm not afraid of showing you that I'm your Mistress here in your hell~" a quick turn to Eryl and she gives a nod, "Kaaaay, I'll have the Kernels on repairing the damage here soon. ONce our tour is over. I have to ... move it to another cell so I can repair this one." she nods, glaring back at Omega Panzer's 'kennel'.

"It is all legal. Of course, I'm the one who runs the drive... and has special access privledges to the others so I can do my work. I tend not to bother the other DCC's if I don't have to. They don't seem to like it when I transform." she laughs a bit, Cautio sighs, then speaks up with everyone moving to the elevator "The next floor is my personal area when I'm not in the Cathoderal."

As the elevator moves, it shows a more pristine area, various monitors line the wall and shelves of books and file cabinets. "I can see /everything/ in the Gaol from here."
Mei Hatsume That sigh from Cautio says quite a lot about Tutela's tendencies, and Mei (perhaps wisely) opts not to prod about that! Instead, she peers back at the Omega Panzer's space once more before stepping into the elevator.

"What are the odds a guest could watch one of these... Repairs?" There's certainly no ulterior motives in seeing just what these viruses are made of, no. Mei's not curious about that sort of thing at all! Following the group into the personal area next, Mei's eyes widen visibly at the sight of all the monitors and...

Actually, that's all she's paying attention to. "Everything? So... Hm. Would anyone else have setups like these? Like... Big local companies, perhaps? Or the other Drive Controllers?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa takes a look at how the viri are treated and moves on shes doesn't comment just yet as she gets going with the group. "Omega Panzer?"

She looks for a moment and then is quick to get on the lift with eeyrone else. She pays attention to Lexicon for a moment clealry intent o hear what she has to say. With everyone on the lift now it doesn't take long for get up to the personal floor and she'll take in the sight along the way as she follows her host.

"So all seeing as well and this is ... a very nice personal area."
Eryl Fairfax     Eryl looks around at the room. More specifically, he's looking carefully at each monitor. Tutela said 'everyting' but he's making sure that there are no gross breeches of privacy occurring. Cameras set up to watch the halls, mess rooms, and the like are fine. Cameras in each cell? Less fine.

"You've certainly made a cozy nest of it," he notes, looking around at the bookshelves and examining the file cabinets. Prisoner records, perhaps?
Miari If Miari's bothered by Tutela's sadism and other complexes, she doesn'ts how it. Her expression remains clean and professionally warm. Though the knowledge that the Virii can sometimes SPEAK gets a tiny twinge on her brow...

"So I am a bit confused. What purpose does keeping them chained up like this serve if they are ultimately to be destroyed?"
Tutela     "If I destroyed every virus I came across, I would have no time for rest." comes Tutela's response to Miari. "So I chain them up here so I can destroy them at my leisure." a simple smile is given to Miari before she moves to look at Eryl and Cautio responds, "I try. After all, if I'm here a lot, might as well be cozy. A bit of respite from the jail, y'know."

Tutela looks towards Kotone, "Omega Panzer is a spider tank like virus. It.. it's quite dangerous! It was fun to beat up and drag here too, but it succumbed to my blade." and her foot. "It's been causing some trouble so I decided to go take care of it. Ah, and to rest everyone's head, there has never... /ever/ been a jailbreak in all the cycles I've been DCC."

Cautio nods, "No records exist for such, that is true." The monitors show everything on the up and up for Eryl, "You seem like the type to question the legality of everything. Don't worry, all the cameras are designed to look at important areas, not in every cell. The only cells that have cameras are anything from Level 3 and up quarantine." she taps a button on the console, showing Omega Panzer's cell. "Have to make sure the more dangerous ones are ... kept an eye on."

Cautio soon turns to Mei and hmms? "We don't normally have visitors when we have to move a prisoner, I don't see the harm, though, in showing you a repair, if you're willing to help. We'll prepare a Iron Care Package for your trouble."
Lexicon     Lexicon lets out a thoughtful noise, "I don't have a monitoring system like this. Struo might, though. I doubt Saltavi has the patience for this kind of thing, or else she'd just have cameras pointed at her all the time anyway."

"You always quarantine a virus before you delete it," Lexicon comments to Miari, eyes wandering the residential section, "Though I regularly exterminate them myself, and I'm sure the other DCCs do as well. There are a /lot/ of viruses. The good news is many of them aren't high ranking like..."

Omega Panzer's cell is empty, on the display. Against the far wall, scratched into the steel, is the word 'ADEIU'

    "...Tutela, where did it go?"

The cell's exterior camera shows the door hanging open, molten red. After some searching, the distinctive spider tank shape can be found against one of the outer walls, carving a small hole with a laser concealed in its underside.
Mei Hatsume "A spider tank... Hm." Mei mouths to herself quietly, the gears starting to turn rapidly while she looks at the monitors, the Omega Panzer's cell, even Kotone and Eryl for some unexplained reason. "If something as large as a tank could have the mobility of a spider, then... Oh! Or what if something could grant even a /tank/ that sort of mobility? Then...!"

And then she pulls out that notebook again. Notes wait for nobody! She pauses when Cautio addresses her, though, the offer drawing a raised eyebrow from the would-be Hero. "That sounds like a good deal. There might even be something good in the architecture if I can figure it all out. But... Hmm?"

Looking towards the monitor again after Lexicon draws her attention to it, Mei zooms in briefly to get a clearer look at the screen without having to actually move before checking her pockets. "... How much longer is that wall going to last?"
Eryl Fairfax     Eryl smiles gently at Cautio. "You are correct. As Paladin Grandmaster, issues of legality are a large matter of concern to me. Thank you for soothing my concerns, however. That all seems perfectly fine." The attitude of the warden aside, it's a fine jail. That it's just used for a place to stay until execution comes is... worrisome. But, with the likes of Cautio here, his concerns are lessened.

And then that worrisome sight comes up on the monitors.

Eryl is immediately checking each and every monitor to try and locate the fugitive. They show up on the outer perimetre, already trying to melt a hole through the wall. "I apologize for any damages I cause. Please allow the Paladins to foot the bill," he says quickly to Tutela and Cautio, before a slug erupts from his elbow to smash a hole in a window. Immediately, he's launching himself through it and dropping down to the courtyard. Right away, he's sprinting off towards the spider tank's location.

"Omega Panzer!" he bellows. "Cease all attempts to escape and withdraw all weapons!" He has both index fingers pointed at the virus as his eyes scan it for any obvious weak points in its structure.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa gets the answer she was hoping for. "Sounds like it was nasyt Tutela I have a question so any idea where thes things re comming from?" She's not sure what ot thinka bout the whole issue with the Viri yet but she does get the reason for the security on the higher level viri. They are clearly dangerous.

"Humm I wonder how this all started..."

She stares at the message in the empty cell on the display.

"Oh this ca't be good."
Tutela     Cautio nods, "Of course." she replies calmly, at least... until Lexicon speaks...

Tutela blinks in curiosity, looking at the monitor, "Where..." there's a pause and a sigh, "Irony." she mutters to herself and looks towards Cautio, "You know what to do, yes?" Cautio blinks, then nods at Eryl, "Of course, we'll send a bill your way. Tutela, go with Eryl, I'll start level five diagnostics and tracking. It can't have gotten far." at least, that's what Cautio thinks, "Lexicon, group, I apologize for asking, but could you all go look for Omega Panzer? I'm no good in a fight."

Tutela, however, is already out with Eryl, "Omega~" she whispers in that sweet and concerning voice, "You /know/ why I put you there... are you really sure you want an express deletion? I can bring /her/ out..." she giggles, then looks towards Eryl, "Ah, I like your style, Eryl." she comments, "But for it to actually do that, I'll go work for Britannica for thirty cycles..."
Lexicon     "Yeah, absolutely," Lexicon states with an even tone. Immediately, she's surrounded by digital light, emerging in the white Processors of her red-eyed Digital Divinity form. She sails out through the window Eryl helpfully 'opened', producing her enormous axe in one hand as she sails on wings of light, "That creep's got it comin'!"

"Oh, dear," Omega Panzer remarks. The laser shuts off, having only carved a hole large enough for an adult to fit his arm through. Nowhere near large enough for the massive spider tank. It turns in place, hunkering beside the wall, "It was going so smoothly, too, but I suppose I won't be able to take this with me after all. Such a pity." The target scope lifts to fixate on Tutela herself, then swings aside to Eryl, "You expect me to surrender just because you asked so nicely? I'm afraid the answer will be 'no'."

Sections on the body unfold, and the tank's disabled turret jettisons. A new one emerges, sporting two cannons on independently articulated mounts. These elevate, the interiors glowing with red light.

And then, suddenly, the tank stops moving. All power cuts out, and it collapses. On the underside, a hatch leading to a tiny control room can be found, which is open. And whatever was IN that control room has vacated through the small opening that the tank had carved out.

"As a point of personal honesty, let me advise that your hospitality is lacking, my dear," Omega Panzer's voice comes from outside the Prison, "And so I'll take my leave! Wa-hah-hah-wa-hah!"
Eryl Fairfax     "One of these days, it will work," Eryl replies sardonically to Omega Panzer. As it detaches the broken turrets and pops out new ones, his mind starts computing firing solutions needed to put all of them down before they shot at him. The resulting answer he got was 'you can't.' There were, quite simply, not enough shots in his limbs to deal with them all. And in an open space like this, nowhere to hide.

So when the whole thing shuts down, it's almost a relief. But the knowledge that the true mastermind, the one inside the tank, slipped away? That quashed it immediately. He sprints to the hole in the wall and peeks beyond it. The village outside the gaol was full of places to hide...

"Omega Panzer was not a virus, but a machine. There was a pilot inside, and they got away. I am going to investigate the tank and see if there are any clues inside." And with that, he does. Wriggling inside as best he can and peeking about until he's satisfied.
Tutela     So much for not getting far.

"Eryl... let's let it go. I'll find it again. We'll all find it." Tutela nods, "I wouldn't mind your help too. Along with Silver Soul over here. And everyone else." she shakes her head a bit and sighs, "I can't believe it, someone... actually escaped. Well..." she sighs, "Time to deal with this soon. I'm not happy, but even in my own village, there's a lot of hiding places."

Meanwhile, Cautio is visually upset... "Someone broke out of /my/ jail. Ho... how did someone break out of my jail?!" and off she goes to do who knows what... probably to check on how to secure it again...
