Yumiko Kojima      It's a foggy Seattle evening, and Yumi arrives at the agreed upon intersection after a brief jog from the monorail stop, bouncing from foot to foot as she waits. The sun's just about setting, the smog creating a riot of reds and yellows in the sky, the streetlights not quite having come on yet. The box tucked under one arm and scotch taped shut, with ALEXIS MAAKA scrawled on it in marker indicates who she's looking for, although part of the name's obscured by her arm. Once evereyone's here, just one block north and a few west.
Alexis Maaka     Maaka's quick to lead the trio as she rides through the portal. The Knight purrs with the engine of a souped up super-bike, which it is, as the cyborg returns to Seattle. She's been here before, and she greets the Matrix like an old friend. The local mapping system is most welcome, as she tracks down Broadway and East Pine, driving there with her coat flapping in the wind. She pulls up near the girl with pointy ears and raptor-esque likes, and offers a salute of sorts in greeting. "Mokin, right?" She asks, her voice filtered through the motorcycle helmet/gas mask combo. Weird combination but it's functional. Beats having smog sickness.
Kotone Yamakawa Seattle and fog is one of the few things that this one has in common with her own. She tries to not think about that for a moment. Kotone's not dressed for trouble. Though it might stick out a bit the slevelss jacket and semi body suit under it might get some attention, but she seems to be in good spirits right? Her bike however is even more notable, it's sleek, deisng and looks pretty high endge, also to any with one hearing agumenttiont he rumble of it's ening is infact simulated. The thing's not powered by a combustion engine at all.

It would be known and she's wearing a crash helmet which has a big old red and white mapleleaf on it too.

Leyanne The giant mouse arrives on a large and old Harley Davidson Softail, not far behind Maaka. She pulls up behind the other cyborg, lowering the kickstand and cutting the engine. It looks at first like she's mirroring the salute, though in fact she's pushing a button on the side of her helmet to retract the faceplate and visor.

"Evenin' Yumiko!" The mouse clearly landed in London. "Aleksis." She then nods to Kotone, standing up and getting off her bike.

'Tiny'... right. She'd have to duck through most doorways
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima nodnods to the rider, returning the gesture. "That's me. Welcome to Seattle. got your delivery right here!" She hands over the box, apparently having eschewed her own mask for now. Plus, she's used to it. And she's TOTALLY not drooling over the bikes. Not at all. Kotone gets the same friendly nod and introduction... Tiny, however, gets a bit more of a stare before her greeting. The mouse is probably the same size as a Troll, but the whole 'mouse with antennae' bit is going to be attracting some stares. Hopefully there won't be any issues.
Alexis Maaka     "Thanks. Been here before, but I do admit it's been a while." Alexis nods. She takes the package, before pulling out her matter manipulator. THe device basically sucks the package up, leaving nothing behind as it's added to her inventory. "Oh. Yeah, uh, what caliber does that thing take anyway?" She asks, before she motions to both Leyanne and Kotone. "Leyanne Mace, and Kotone Yamakawa. They're associates of mine, so to speak. What's up, girls?"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace occasionally flips the horns to those who stare; she's used to it as the star of an extreme sports/prank show. She smiles as she's introduced, her tail swishing around behind her as she pulls her helmet off and hangs it on her bike. She takes a moment to settle a battered red beret on her head, wincing as she pushes the stubby, damaged one through the holes in the fabric.

"Call me Tiny!" She says cheerfully as she takes the little mesh caps off her helmet and puts them over her antennae. They appear to have been constructed from a tea strainer.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa pulls her helemt off for the moment but does not pull the now revelaed cables which are plugged into her neck somewhere under her hairline.

"Can't really say much other than dealing with a insane cult as of late. That and pre third world war car restoration."

She looks over to Leyanne and smirks a bit.

"Tiny, been a while, and good to see you too Alexis" She'll look to Yumiko for a moment.

"Good to meet you as well, name's Kotone Yamakawa sometimes I'm called Samsara."
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima does look pretty damn impressed at the deployment of the matter manipulator, raising an eyebrow. "Damn. That's... interesting. Pretty sure this one's in .45 ACP, caseless." She peers up at the mouse again, peering closely at those caps. "Tiny. Got it. Are those to help with the Matrix signal, or...." Kotone also gets a handshake if she's interested. "But yeah. Yumi's fine, I'm only Mokin on business or if we're talking to people I don't like. SO! Gracie's for Ribs is one block north, and three west. You guys mind walking there? I figured it was easier to meet at a big intersection and walk. Also, hope you're hungry, this place serves family style, and lots of it." She's grinning widely, clearly pretty happy about all this.
Alexis Maaka     "Perfect. I'll...need to remember that." ALexis looks at Yumiko funny. .45 ACP is normally cased, but whatever. SHe'll have go shopping later. SHaking hands with Yumiko, she gives Kotone a grin. "I'll have to take a peek at that, the cars I mean. You know I restored Nancy myself, right?" She asks, hopping off her bike. "Durandal, if we're swapping codenames. But that's for business." She chimes in, before following Yumiko, tucking hands in her pockets. Feels good to be able to socialize WITHOUT gunfighting for once, but knowing this world they still may need to watch their back.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace shakes her head "The opposite." She shakes the offered hand with a smile. "If I didn't have these, all the EM in the air would be a bit maddening. I swear even the food pings an RF signal at me. Even with the caps on, I can feel it all." She laughs, unplugging a few vital components from her bike. "Tiny's a nickname, I got it in boot camp back on Mars. I'm big, even for my species." Waving to anyone who stares, the mouse follows along to the burger joint
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "You should but it's already owned, I'm just doing the resrot work thank god for fabbers and multiveral junkyards for parts. It would be a nightmare for na old combustion engine otherwise."

SHe notes before she looks back to Yumiko for a moment.

"I'm fine with that, I pitty anyone who tries to jack my bike."

Because if your not comptable with the jacks you can't start it up. She'll pull the cables out of the back of her neck and secure the helmet in a cargo compartment.

"Eating is a pleasure of the flesh I refuse to give up on."
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima nods, grinning and leading the way towards the restaurant, occasionally spinning around and walking backwards to talk to the others. "Yeah, tonight's just fun. Sorry about the RF, it's kinda unavoidable here. Might want to look into something like a lined hoodie?"
When they get there, Gracie's for Ribs is revealed to be a decent sized place, with a striped awning. Once inside, they're escorted to a booth, and menus are passed out by Mama Gracie, a matronly ork woman. Sitting twisted to one side a bit to give her tail enough room to curve and sit against the backrest. Hopefully whoever ends up sitting on her side doesn't end up sitting on it. "Oooooh... Ribs... Brisket... Pulled Pork... Chicken... I think I want a rack of ribs. What're you guys getting?"
Alexis Maaka     "I was kind of expecting this to be pretty common around town, honestly." Alexis says, motioning to her coat. The BBQ place is pretty damn delicious looking, and Alexis nods gratefully to the ork, Mama Gracie. "I'll get a rib-eye, cooked medium with steamed veggies, I'm thinking. HOw's the drink selection here? Could go for a cold one while we're at it."
She wonders, checking the drink selection pretty intently.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace shrugs a little. "The tea strainers are doing fine for now, I might build or buy something a bit more dedicated but I don't want it fully squelched, just dimmed a bit. Like shades, or earplugs." She looks over at the menu. She whistles at the price, shaking her head slightly as she sits in a troll-sized chair. "I want... a rack of ribs, some pulled pork... with fries..." She looks up at Gracie "...do you mind if I supply my own tea? I can spare like ten or fifteen teabags if it sweetens the deal, this is some good lapsang."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is pretyt chill as she head salong to the resturant along with the rest. She does hope her entirely robotic body doesn't cause issues here but she won't think much more of it for now.

She'll be inside she'll sit down and seem to be in a good mood. She looks over the food.

"I'll go for the ribs, I think. I want to see how they stack up to back home. Oh fresh fries too? Sounds like a winning plan here."

She grins to Mamm Gracie and finish placing her order.

"So this is a pretty nice place I didn't expect a place like here with my last visit here to be honest."
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima puts in her order along with the others, Maaka is provided with beer, and Tiny's tea is accepted with a bit of southern appropriate grumbling, and soon the table is groaning with food, along with big side dishes of cornbread and coleslaw. Yumi tears into her ribs with ferocity, eyes closing momentarily as the tender meat nearly falls right off the bone. "Mmmmf. Yeah, 'S pretty good. Nicer side of town'll do that."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace tears into her ribs with equal gusto, polishing off a rib, bone and all, quite happily. "These are some good ribs." She comments, snagging some of the cornbread to create an approximation of a pulled pork butty. It's not quite what she'd get back in London, but it's pretty good. "The best, and worst, thing about a capitalist society. Money talks."

In a place like this, the RF is at least dampened compared to outside, so Leyanne removes the uncomfortable tea-strainer 'shades'
Alexis Maaka     Alexis is quick to cut herself some delicious slices of steak when her food is delivered. GOd, she hasn't had steak this good in ages. She chews neatly, poking at the trademark honey cornbread. She takes a bit of the trademark, nibbling before she takes a bigger chomp. "Oh man." she says between bites, "Amazing. This Gracie's recipe?" She asks, blissful.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa gets her ribs and will move to dig into it. "True thoufh the Barrens, where I'm from? Are a pretty high end place to live. Funny how that goes." She'll dig into the ribs and a veyr happy look crosses her face soon and she's teating into the ribs. She'll pause for a moment "These are really good!"
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima devours two more ribs, sopping up the barbecue sauce form her plate with some cornbread. "Everything is. It's her name on the sign." OMNOMNOM DELICIOUS FOOD. "Guess this'll be my treat for the week. ...we're splitting the check though, right?" She really does look a little apprehensive at the thought of having to pay for Leyanne's spread, which given the size difference could probably have fed her for a week. The idea of the barrens being fancy living also does get a bit of a snicker. "I picked this place for a reason, you know."
Alexis Maaka     "Naturally." Alexis nods, cracking open her cold one. At least it's not soybeer, right? SHe sips the drink, giving the cornbread another try as well. "'s good stuff, you sure have an eye for places to get a bite to eat." She grins, nudging Yumiko. "I may need to have you pick the place we go to later on our date.~" She teases, giving that knowing smile and wink to the elf.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace shrugs a bit "I'm happy to pay for my share... I mean I eat quite a bit so... it wouldn't be fair if I didn't, really." She sips her tea thoughtfully. "I run a bike shop... and I get paid for every stunt that gets shown on A Bad Idea. I had money changed over before I left especially so I could pay a chunk of the meal tonight, 's all good. You got a ride to save up for."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "This is pretty good and I'm more than happy to split it. It would only be fair to dop so right? Oh aside from the quality of the foods." She looks to Yumiko and she sees the mirth on the other woman's face. "It's true, I'm from further up the coast near Vancouver."

She noms some more and seems to be enjoying it.

"Used to be a courier, mechanic really and I kinda fell into adventuring across the multiverse honestly."
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima meep. Well, there goes the confidence. Yumi blushes a bit, tail squirming behind Alexis. "I only really know stuff around Seattle, and not really anything fancy..." Her toes click softly on the floor, luckily probably unheard over the noise of food and conversation. Restless leg when you have cyberware is a bitch. About halfway through her rack, she noms some more cornbread, before speaking again. "So... You build bikes, Tiny? You should look into the combat biking circuit. Might be able to get a deal with one of the big teams..." Back to Kotone. "Oh hey, I do courier stuff. that's what got me into free running."
Alexis Maaka     "It's okay. I can find us a pizza place or something in the meantime." Alexis offers, snickering. "Biking circuit, huh? I'm thinking we could get in on that together, I bet we'd kick ass as a racing team."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods a bit "I might have to do just that." She agrees with Yumiko. "That or see if Arkadyne are interested in bringing a factory team into the circuit. I've looked into the way this world runs contracts and I can't say I'm keen on the amount of smallprint they squeeze in. If it's a home team, I know who I'm working with and I ain't gonna get shafted." She looks at Maaka thoughtfully, nodding. "Pretty sure there'd be a spot for you. An Elite rider'd give us an interesting edge, and with the two of us we could prolly do enduro or run two bikes. A Bad Idea'd probably be up for sponsoring us..."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "I could see how that could get one into it. There's big money for some types of legal curiouer work back home but I can't do ait anymore. I'm more content building bikes and resotirng old cars. Leyanne's pretty good, I have seen her shop. Though combat biking wouldn't be my thing, though i think your right Leyanne might like it."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace looks over at Yumiko, adding "Could even run three, if we want."
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima squirms a bit more in her seat, devouring more meat to avoid awkward small talk. She does peek up again though at the suggestion of forming a team. "Erm... I don't think I should do anything more than amateur sports. It takes a special kind of person to do what I do when you're famous and your face is everywhere... and I don't think I can. Plus, I don't really keep regular hours. And the BWM 5050 isn't exactly the most armored out there. I'm just not cut out to be famous." With her best wry grin, she toasts with a piece of cornbread before cramming it into her mouth and announcing, slightly muffled, "To anonmity!"
Alexis Maaka     "To anonmity!" Alexis says, laughing as she raises a piece of her own, taking a bit chomp out of the delicious bread. "God, this is so good. WHo's ready to foot the bill?" SHe offers, producing a credstick of sorts.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace chuckles "To anonimity... and my lack of it." She grins. "I always was a big one, even as a kit. Aged twelve I was a good six inches taller than most of my peers." She sips the tea thoughtfully. "If I go combat racing, I'm doing it with a Martian team... Arkadyne built the 19th's Cavalry Chargers, one of those bikes saved my life and they're looking at branching out into motorsports. I'd build a much more awesome bike with factory support and I'm technically part-owned by Arkadyne, if I signed myself up to the kinda draconian contracts I'm reading about here, I don't know if any of me would be owned by me. Plus a shake-up is always fun in motorsport, it'll be fun taking a shit in some Corpie racer's cornflakes."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace pulls out her credit chip "I'm ready to pay my share."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "We do not forgive? We do not forget? Expectus?" She notes quoting a Meme older than her parents bt it's in good spirits at least. She looks ove to Maaka for the moment. "I'm ready for it."

She goes for a wallet to get some local money to pay her part of it.
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima taps one temple. "I'm actually paying this one with debit. Dinners out look good on a SIN." A waiter arrives shortly after with a commpad to except various payments, and take anyone's leftovers, if there are any, to box them up in doggy bags. Yumi's payment is probably noticable to Tiny as a brief squeal of encrypted data handshaking. Once the doggy bags are returned, Yumi remains trapped in the corner until Maaka stands up, whereupon she scoots out of the booth as well. "Thanks, guys. I really needed tonight, I think. I'll have to visit your worlds sometime."
Alexis Maaka     "Totally. I'll show you around Hong Kong, especially the nice parts." There's nice parts? Alexis justr grins and nudges Yumiko. "I'll see you around, Kojima. Thanks for the night out. Feels good introducing people. I'll have to remember this place next time I come by."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods "I'll have to take you around London... Hoonah, the place where I have the bike shop is a tiny city with barely any road links - you have to get the ferry to link up with the AlCan - and there's not a lot there but some pretty views, bears, mooses, and... actually you might like it there, the air's super fresh and we can take Leeroy out for a spin. Maybe go poke an iceberg with the Bofors gun."

Leyanne transfers her payment, either direct to Gracie, or to Yumiko so the payment can go on her SIN and look good. Her antennae twitch at all the different encrypted transmission from the payment. "...man it's nice not to have to duck in and out of a place."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "If you like, I'd be happy to show you around vancouver, or maybe New Port. Or if you want Seattle but I don't know it as well as those two other place." She grins as she seems to be very done with her food for a moment. "So that was good and
Yumiko Kojima Yumiko Kojima hipbumps Maaka back in response to the nudge, standing up once the merc slips out of the booth, stretching and grabbing her doggy bag. "Okay. You guys want me to walk with you back to where you left your bikes, or...." She shifts from foot to foot, smiling as she glances at her new friends
Alexis Maaka     "Sure." ALexis grins, wrapping an arm around Yumiko. "I had a great night, thank you again for inviting us over. Glad you let me bring a few friends." SHe grins over to LEyanne and Kotone as well, "Lovely seeing you two again, hope we can do this again soon."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace smiles "I'm good either way." The maus has no doggy-bag. She's polished off everything she ordered -and- snuffled up a rib-bone or two from someone else. "I'm gonna go for a ride-around Seattle once I get back to my bike."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "Good to see you Maaka, don't be a stranger huh? Miho wants to see you again, apprently she's been working on something." She notes with a bit of a grin on her face.

"L:Ets get going anf thanks Yumiko I needed to get out. It's been too long."
