No Brakes     Late night out on I-5 heading to Tacoma, it's a whirlwind of police helis, heavily armed cruisers and a few heavy drones in the air chasing a speeding armored personell carrier down the, thankfully, clear highway. Guns are firing off, bouncing here and there. The police scanners are buzzing with what could be the heist of the century... if she wasn't caught in the act doing so. IN the cab, No Brakes is plugged into her seat, eyes closed... "White Wind, send off a signal... we're gonna need some help."

The elf in the passenger seat nods, patching the rigger into the local comms... "So, anyone willing to help?" she smirks in the cab, White Wind shakes her head as bullets ricochet off the armored van.

Meanwhile at the convy behind the APC, "Get that bitch, she's got precious information for our corp! How she got in... how we didn't notice her until she already had the data... Just kill her if you can!"
Leyanne From the nearest warpgate to the I-5 bursts a long, wide, low-slung motorcycle, carrying two passengers. The bike's rider, the giant mouse, has her tail wrapped protectively around Laura's waist as she powers Skrat towards the chase, her helmet's faceplate fully closed. Her antennae are curled tight against the helmet, both to protect them against the wind, and from the cacaphony of electromagnetic radiation in this universe. Holy crap that's going to take some getting used to. Turning onto an off-ramp and onto the highway and shifts up a few gears, weaving through the traffic towards her target.

Behind her faceplate, Tiny smirks as she spots a familiar butt and bike just ahead. "Yang. Last one there is a mouldy cheese!" She comments into her radio she pulls alongside the blonde on her bike. She grins and opens the Arkadyne model 14's throttle as soon as she's finished talking, starting close the distance to the convoy of red and blue lights further up the highway.
Yang Xiao Long     The roar of a motorcycle engine would probably go unnoticed over the din of helicoptors and weaponsfire. She ramps over onto the interstate, and skid turns to bleed off the speed before hitting the center divider. The heavy bike screams in protest, then rears up as the rider guns the engine again, flames spraying from the exhaust and an orange-red glow flaring in the center-mass of the vehicle.

Yang sets the bike to maintain station, following the APC and closing slowly. "I'm on approach, 6o'clock. Blonde on a Motorcycle." she says through radio, before letting go of the handles and letting her onboard autopilot keep her stable, before she starts firing with her gauntlets up at one of the helos, bolts of explosive red light flashing from each punch and beginning to slightly track the moving vehicle.
August Kohler August Kohler doesn't drive, and doesn't have any means of transport in this world. Therefore, he grabbed a bicycle, got a map of the area on his phone, and started peddling as fast as he could to get around the highway. He based his entry off being ahead of the chase, and eventually, breached onto the road, parking with his bike to the side of the highway as the redhead watched for the incoming traffic. He'd know what he's looking for, and No Brakes informs him which vehicle is hers...excellent. Raising a mirror to eye level, he speaks the words, "Persona." Summoning the Tin Soldier to his side, he watches and waits.

And when No Brakes's APC approaches, the Tin Soldier raises his gun. When she's about to pass him, the gun fires - literally. Flames begin spewing out, creating a wall of flames behind No Brake's vehicle. It's passable, but it'll burn anything that passes it, and definitely damage the vehicles. It's basically a 'stop' or 'get hit' tactic, to see how many of the pursuers he can thin off. Once that's done, he's waiting to see which of his allies might have a free spot as they pass by.
Laura Kinney Laura Kinney sits astride the rear of the motorcycle, still internally grumbling that Tiny's insisting on holding onto her. She's /fiiiine/. She does not wear a helmet, black hair streaming behind her in the wind, although her face is hidden by a combination of a red-eyed angular domino mask over her eyes, and a half mask over the lower half of her face. In a universe where camera surveillance was ubiquitous, best to keep your face hidden. As the heavy bike approaches, she climbs into a crouch on the saddle, expertly balancing as she gets ready to board one of the cruisers.
Septette Arcubielle      Thousands of feet above the highway, a subtle fizzle of white light resolves to a humanoid figure that rapidly plummets towards the asphalt below. Septette settles into a calm reverie as her purple shawl whips and lashes around her shoulders. The headfirst freefall doesn't seem to bother her much, if her calm expression and voice is any indication.

"Incoming, above. Will attempt to match pace and draw fire for you." The voice is a mechanically-distorted thing, like a warm human voice filtered through harsh synthetic tones; it could be mistaken for anonymizing voice-modulation software, if one isn't listening closely.

A small explosion rips through the air as she comes down on one of the drones with both feet, using it to slow her descent and stop from cratering the road on impact. She hits the highway with a godawful metallic shriek that's audible for hundreds of feet, then breaks into an inhuman loping sprint that keeps pace with the convoy- if only barely.

She can't match the top speed of the vehicles present, but being on foot has other advantages: the wall of flames appears to cut her off for a moment, but she leaps over it in an enormous bound and comes down heavily on the other side before flashing August a dreadful grin. "Kohler, that you? ... Piggback ride?" It's hard to tell if she's being serious...
No Brakes     There's a small drone attached to the roof of the APC, feeding in No Brakes radar and other sensory information while tiny cameras around let her see at least the road and other things chasing her. Oh hey, there's a blonde on a bike, this one is nice. "Ah, there's a few." she mutters inside the cab as she drives /right/ past August, doing probably a hundred in a sixty. Let's just add speeding to the long list of crimes, shall we? Then the gout of flame makes some loud screeching on the otherside with half of the police force chasing her swerve off. Some even crash out and there's a few explosions too!

Yang's gauntlet's do the trick for a couple of the heli's, the blasts smashing right into the cabin of them and bouncing to break a few of the blades, causing them to spin out of control and crash in a beautiful explosion a good couple miles apart with each heli. THough, with the new threat, two of the remaining ones start focusing their fire towards the woman on the bike with gatling gun fire!

With Leyanne and Laura, they get close enough to one of the cruisers that the officer has to do a double take to see what he's seeing. He's seen a lot of shit in his carrer but this just takes the cake while Septette's own abilities knock one of the remaining aircraft around, letting it stabilize briefly before it, too, focuses its fire on her!

Meanwhile, one of the lead cruisers opens its moonroof and sticks himself... and an RPG Launcher out of it!
Yang Xiao Long     Yang's eyes go wide behind her helmet visor as she sees the flame wall. She ducks back down, and guns the engine to full to get through as fast as possible. The flames wash over her, making her Aura flare and crackle, and leaving scorch marks on the bike. The rear tire catching flame, before it goes out from the speed. "Damn it Kohler!"

Then the Helos start opening fire on her, bullets whizzing down and tearing up the tarmac beneath her. "Taking fire!" She swerves, and shifts position, trying to throw off their aim. "I can't return fire need cover!" She keeps low, and just focusses on evasion for now.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace uncurls her tail as Laura stands. It seems like it's possibly an instinctive thing - passengers must be gripped by the tail. "I'll get you a ride then... fuckit."

When the officer in the cruiser looks at the mouse, the mouse turns her head to look back at him, before her left hand grabs the door of his car and simply rips it off. She throws it upwards, in the hope that it's going to hit one of the aircraft firing at Yang - even if it doesn't do any damage, it should distract the pilots.

When the fire wall erupts, Tiny ducks down behind Scrat's windscreen, mostly for the sake of her antennae than anything else - the flame washes over her armour and bike without doing much more than burning paint off. Or at least, that's what she hopes. That smoke on the rear quarter could be wiring that's burning and that'll be a problem...
August Kohler As the fire trap works, August pumps his fist, before almost tripping when Septette launches over and towards him. "Oh, shit, Arcubielle?" After a moment of voice recognition, he thinks over her very awkward offer...and nods. "You're shorter than me, but I assume you're strong enough." It's the only way! He climbs onto her back and holds on tightly, desummoning his Persona, as one wrist holds up a mirrored bracelet. "Alright, if you can stay up close, I can summon my Persona onto one of the vehicles as long as we don't get too far away from it." He ducks his head down, and waits. And also hopes he doesn't get killed by however fast she goes.
Lyria Mason Lyria got the call for help, hey there was cash involved and honestly she was short on operating funds to work in the Multiverse. She was happy to get involved it seemed to be a world a bit like her but with nothing to like the AL Cid family to check the mega corps that existed there. She was here on the highway with several drones and she was smirking a bit as she was near August she had an idea she saw the APC she made ready and will spread out her drones there's some water in the air and she makes use of that causing a brief sheen of ice to cover the road a bid of the ways after August's own action with the Tin Soldier. If you get past the fire?

Then comes one of the chaser has a freaking rocket launcher, that's going to be a problem You get the ice.

At least that's her plan at the very least she sees as other move in to disable the cruisers. Then on of the people chasing show they have a rocket launcher. She changes her plan now is draw an pistol and aime to take a shot at the launcher, not the person with it but the launcher it self, her plan with the ice not panning out to anything, but that's how fights go.
Septette Arcubielle      With Kohler safely perched on her shoulders, Septette loops one arm around his right leg to serve as an extra guarantee of stability, then takes off after Kilasula's APC again! If there's one advantage bipedality has over wheels, it's the acceleration; despite the comical ungainliness of a five-foot-tall android carrying a 5'9" man on her shoulders, she gets back up to full speed within a few strides. Fortunately, it's not quite fast enough to risk whiplash!

The downside of this arrangement is, of course, that she can't draw fire without endangering August too! To mitigate the risk that her passenger's exposed to, she pivots seamlessly to running backwards, then extends her armblades to use their near-indestructible sides to deflect incoming gunfire.

For the first few seconds, whatever gets through her defenses pings off her sturdy exoskeleton- but the RPG draws sharp concern from even her. "Closer? I'm trusting you- make this quick!" She abruptly slows down, coming dangerously close to being run over by the convoy before leaping onto a car adjacent to the RPG-wielder's! Trusting him to take care of the obvious threat, she kicks through the windshield of the car she's on and tries to electrify its driver. "We're not gonna have a stable platform for long!"
Laura Kinney Laura Kinney taps Tiny twice on the shoulder, the prearranged signal to release as the pair approaches one of the bike interceptors. Once they're within ten feet, she pushes off from the mouse's armored shoulder, dropping in behind its rider. With a quick chop to the back of the neck she renders the man stunned, before wrenching him sideways and ducking behind the bike's armored front cowling. Just in time to go roaring through the fire. "Kohler, next time, inform us of your plan." And now judging by that smell, her hair's on fire. This is Juuuuust great. Gazing through the displays on the windscreen, she drops back on the throttle a bit to drop in behind one of the cruisers and trigger the bike's mounted armament, trying to aim for the tires. Who knows, maybe the corps didn't spring for run-flat.
August Kohler "I've got this, don't worryyyyy", August says over the speed, as he glances into the mirror. "PERSONA!" The Tin Soldier reappears on the vehicle adjacent to the RPG-wielder's, glancing at it, before leaping over the gap and onto it. As Lyria shoots at his rocket launcher, the Tin Soldier rushes in, moving to just try and pull the weapon out of his hands and toss it off the vehicle. It's a silent robot with a gun-leg, staring straight at him, before it raises that gun leg and starts spraying /fire/ from it, spraying it down into the moonroof (and onto the guy). It's probably going to crash with them, so it's attempting to run before it gets set on fire...
No Brakes     The RPG Wielding Officer is taking aim, this would mean promotion if he could destroy that APC... so everything's riding on this shot. There's a beeping of a lock and... the shot from Lyria knocks his aim off before he could fire, a loud string of unintelligable words, most likely cursing to whatever god, is screamed out as he tries to readjust... only to spy August and Septette. "Shit..." comes his only word as he hears August shout... the gun leg is raised and fire fills the cab, loud screams and now an out of control cruiser swerves left and right sharply before hitting a pothole and going airborne, exploding in mid air and taking out a few more cruisers as it lands..
No Brakes     Back at the back, Laura's little stunt lands her on one of the police bikes, a surprised looking officer double takes at the newfound passenger before trying to swat her away, "GET OFF!" comes the only words he speaks before the chop renders him stunned... and thrown off the bike unceremoniously, tumbling behind and tripping up another biker... sending them both probably to dead now, but hey... Laura's got a sweet new bike! A bike with guns. That promptly shoot out a cruisers tires... and there's a loud explosion, the tire just goes to shreds. This one didn't spring for Run-Flat It swerves and carreens off, running into another cruiser and off the I-5 bridge, ending in a nice firey explosion!

Leyanne's door ripping off and up, ends up shearing off the guns, until Leyanne's met with a gun to her face. "Rat. Time to die." And there's a gunshot right there, if the gun's not knocked out in time of it showing! The gun's also going from passenger seat, the driver seems to be not holding the wheel at all and plugged right into the cruiser!

he aircraft guns finally die down after being taken care of by the group and now there's just a few cruisers left... Two of them seem to be backing off, done with this foolish chase while one seems to be gunning right for it, aiming to run Yang over!
Laura Kinney Laura Kinney swerves to dodge the cruiser she just took out, gunning the engine. The heavy armor's certainly not helping with the acceleration, but it's at least keeping the shrapnel off her. And then... Shit. Gun aiming towards Tiny. This... isn't good. With a quick juke to one side, Laura drops in behind the menacing cruiser before triggering another 30 round burst into the rear of the vehicle, hopefully where the fuel tank is. If they didn't get run flat tires, they probably don't have self sealing fuel tanks either....
Septette Arcubielle      Septette hops off the hood of the swerving cruiser, landing gracefully back on the road and keeping pace just ahead of the convoy with that uncanny backwards run. She peers up at the helicopters overhead, and a horrible sly grin crosses her face- the universal expression for having just had a wonderfully bad idea. "Kohler? Hold on very, very tight..."

One instant, she's running on the highway, and the next a plume of dust and a crater in the asphalt lie where she stood. A trio of drones materialize around her as she nears the peak of her ascent, still well short of the helicopters; she kicks off of each in turn, using them like stepping stones to gain altitude while hurtling through the air! "You've got your vantage point, August- shoot the cruisers, I'll take this one!"

Just as it seems like she'll fall short, Septette gets one last kick of altitude from launching a magical fireball downwards. Her curved arm-blade hooks into the helicopter's skids, and she uses the precarious hand-hold to pull herself up in front of the cockpit!

She aims a surgical, disabling slash at each of the copter's remaining weapons in turn, concluding with an upward stroke designed to clip one of its rotors near the tip to slowly bleed its altitude. It seems as though she's trying to decisively disable the craft while still giving the pilot a chance to land it safely.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang lifts her head as the gunfire tapers off. "Thanks for the clear... oh crap!" She banks hard away as she sees the lights coming closer behind. She cuts out of the way to the right, then jinks back left to throw off the driver, before slamming on the brakes, a pair of fins popping out of the tail to add air resistance to the brake force.

She then guns the engine again to come up behind the cruiser, standing in her seat as she turns on station keeping. Her aura sparks and shimmers, a few bullets having clipped her and punched through, the wounds healing slowly.

"I BURN!" she slams her fists together, causing a rush of Aura and a burst of light as she activates her Semblance. Eyes turn red, hair billows as flames lick from it and surround her helmet like a halo. And then she rears back and launches another one of those exploding bolts.

This one detonates like a lump of C4 on impact, tearing up the road and probably cutting the cruiser in half if it hits.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace lets out a /growl/. That's not a noise one expects a mouse to make. "Momma didn't raise no stinking RAT!" she snarls angrily, looking at him just in time for the gun to go off. The bike swerves and her head snaps to one side. There's a spray of very red, haemoglobin-rich blood as one of the mouse's antenna is removed, the round glacing off her helmet after severing the sensitive, nerve-laden appendage.

The mouse is now angry and in pain. Lots of pain. But at least she's not getting as much of the electromagnetic noise anymore. That, at least, is a small mercy. She draws her sidearm and returns fire, emptying all nine rounds into the driver's compartment.

"I AM NOT A FUCKING RAT, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"
August Kohler The Tin Soldier manages to dive out of the way before getting set on fire, being desummoned by August, as he sighs in relief as the RPG cruiser goes and takes out a whole bunch of others. His relief starts to drain when Septette has a terrible plan. "Wait, what are you doi-"

And there they go into the air, August holding on for dear life. "It's a second body, I can't just shoot from here, I'll need to resummon it! Ugh okay okay, I'll...I'll do thisssss!" As Septette climbs into the helicopter, August summons the Tin Soldier. Specifically, at the ledge of the helicopter, from which it freefalls. "I won't be able to get a good shot from he- wait that's like a shitload high, oh god, this was a mistake." is all he can scream as he feels his Persona falling through the sky, changing mental focus to it. Quickly, it begins to try and position itself in the air, giving a confident thumbs-up despite the lack of confidence, and pointing that gun at the first cruiser it sees. Flames begin to whirl, before creating practically a tornado around the cruiser, burning into it and melting it apart. Bullets then begin to spray at the targets of the others, as the Tin Soldier approaches landing. August attempts to desummon...but it's going a bit too fast, and it plummets onto one of the crashed cruisers, causing him to grab tightly onto Septette as he feels the impact and causing the Tin Soldier to roll in pain before disappearing.

Hopefully Septette doesn't get spooked. Right?
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason watches as the blood path gets rolling. Somehow she's not too shocked about it but the screams make her cringe a bit. It's time to get going, she isn't sure what else to say. She moves to start fading back. She knows they can't wait for much longer who knows what might else pile on to them. They need to go and get out of here with No Breaks. That' the job it's time to go and she's moving to fall back keeping a pistol ready as she goes. The others seem to be ... handling things with a good deal of gusto.

She really should have used her idenity as Serpent for this job the more she thinks about it.

She'll move to aid and cover anyone else who needs it.
Septette Arcubielle      Septette's plan for landing is simple: let go of August, turn around midair, grab him properly again instead of carrying him on her shoulders, then hit the ground running while minimizing impact. His abruptly clutching tighter doesn't spook her exactly, no- but it does complicate that plan significantly!

She howls something about 'the pavement' and 'a fucking spatula' over the rushing wind while trying to twist around and grab him securely, but it's lost to the helicopter's shrieking. For a brief and tense moment, she tangles with the young man in freefall, trying to get him into a position where she can cushion the shock of impact... then, with almost a full second left before impact, she successfully pulls him to her skeletal ribcage in something resembling the classic Superman carry.

There's no gentle deceleration here, no magical flight to cushion their descent- but by bending her arms and legs in precise ways on landing, she's able to spread the impact out over the largest amount of time and surface area possible. Despite the deafening crash and plume of pulverized asphalt, August should be perfectly fine.

It takes her a few seconds to skid to a halt from her horizontal momentum, too, but the little robot finally comes to a standstill by the side of the road and sets her passenger down on his feet. She looks him up and down, then gives an approving chirp. "Well done out there, Kohler. Let's never, ever do it again."
No Brakes     Back at the cruiser with Tiny and Laura, the passenger makes a /very/ bad mistake. Calling Tiny a Rat. The driver gets nine bullets right in him.. flatlining him nigh instantly while Laura's little gunbunny-ing on that bike peirces through the tank and into the passenger as well, and soon after... it explodes, flipping it up and over and crashing right out into a ball of fire! Payback for calling her a rat, probably. And shooting off that antennae. Oh well.

Yang, however, practically blinds No Brakes from the sudden Semblance activation, the bike chasing after that one cruiser who tried to run her over! There's a look in the rear view and the passenger grabs his shotgun and leans out to take a look, aiming. "What in the hell is that shitstain doing?" and when the exploding bolt gets launched, there's not even a word, the gun cocks and he looks like he's about to fire but it hits the vehicle, cutting right through it and detonating, taking out driver and passenger as each half gets blown off the sides of the highway!

Septette's little stunt gets her to that chopper, the sudden weight of not only a magical robot girl but also a teen causes a sudden descent in altitude. There's a bit of panic inside the cockpit as the pilot tries to shake the two off, going this way and that, but with each slash of that blade cutting off more and more of the 'non vital' systems, the plane starts losing more altitude... and starts to fly away from the chase zone.

And with one cruiser left, the TIn Soldier's flames whirl around the cruiser, causing it to screech to a halt as the driver and passenger try to bolt from the ride, glad they still live one more day to fight crime... or in their case, probably retire and drink the life away as they watch their cruiser get melted into a nice puddle of liquid steel and other unknown metals. There's no explosion this time, though.

The APC finally screeches to a halt... with the miles upon miles of destruction left in the wake of the escape, the backdoor opens and a robotic dog hops out... looking around...
Yang Xiao Long     Yang rides up, and skids to a halt beside the APC as the hatch opens. She gets off, and takes off her helmet, little wisps of flame still flickering in her hair, and her eyes still a baleful red. She strikes a rather intimidating figure.

She smiles friendly enough, stretching and rolling her shoulders. "That was a good workout. Sorry again about blinding you, didn't want to risk my first shot not taking that guy out."
Laura Kinney Laura Kinney puts on her own brakes, the bike's heavy armor making its acceleration and braking fairly similar to the shadowrunner's ride. Dropping the kickstand, she hurries over to where Tiny's stopped. Gotta make sure her friend is okay. "The bike is all yours. The maneuverability is not very good anyway." Nice one, Laura. That's totally not backhanded. It probably doesn't help that her hair burnt down into some kind of shaggy pixie cut while she was busy driving, scalp a bit reddened from healing burns.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace pulls Skrat to a halt next to the APC and then steps off the bike, setting the kickstand down. Very calmly, and methodically, and with shaking hands, she pulls her helmet off, squeaking at the pain as the little stump of her severed antenna is squeezed through the vac-tight grommet. Once that's done, she leans against her combat bike, sitting down heavily and holding her head. She doesn't hear Laura's comment about the bike - or indeed, much else. Right now, all Tiny is aware of is that she's lost one of her precious deelieboppers.

And it really, really, really hurts.
August Kohler Another success! However Septette's own plan is insane, and now August himself is falling. Oh god, he's going to die. Or, he thinks that, as they're about to hit the ground, when Septette turns him around and cushions him from the devastating crash. His eyes are shut, and after a few seconds, he speaks. "Oh, we're alive." Getting off Septette, he takes a few moments to stare at her with a glazed-over look in his eyes. "Yeah. Yeah, let's not."
Septette Arcubielle      The little killbot stands on her tiptoes, eyes glowing a bright and cheerful purple, to reach up and try to pat August on the head. It's a peculiar gesture, and the sharpened edges on her fingers force her to be particularly dainty if she doesn't want to give him a haircut, but the intent seems to be to reassure him.

"Well," she says with a tone of finality, "that could've been a lot cleaner. Could've been a lot worse, though," Septette adds with a sideways glance at the ruined highway and raging fire behind them. "But at least everyone made it out alright."

Her expression changes to something passive, unreadable. "Or, at least, everyone you care about. Right?"
No Brakes     With everyone gathered, the Doberman drone sits like a good robot boy and projects a small hologram of a catgirl in tribal wear. "Hey, thanks. Appreciate the backup there, didn't think I could shake them without your help." there's a bright grin on the image's face as it does a cute little dance set to some really peppy victory like music. "So, I'm Kilasula... nice to meet you guys in the Watch, was it? My main face is in the car... don't open it. I'm not ready to show people yet."

"You can always call me No Brakes if you want over the radio though! Even if I found the brakes eventually." the image lets out a laugh as she sits down, turning a bit towards the car. "Hey, White Wind, Get out here! Come show your face."

The passenger door opens and out comes a tall elf, female too. "Hi." comes a stoic voice, "I'm her doc. She'll be fine for now, stablized her legs so she won't bleed out. The name's White Wind, a pleasure to meet you."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace looks up, then over at the wreckage behind them. "I only killed two people. And they tried to kill me first." she comments, weakly in response to Septette.

She waves to the hologram. "Tiny." the eight foot mouse introduces herself, a lot quieter and more subdued than her usual brash self. Her voice is a little shaky. Blood continues to ooze from her severed antenna, slower now. But head injuries always do bleed for a long time, don't they?
Laura Kinney Laura Kinney glares at Septette, although from behind the mask her facial expressions are unreadable. "They chose to use live ammo, and attacked my friends." And then, the hologram happens. Huh. "Wolverine." Is her response to that. Hey, it worked in South America.... Rummaging in one of the small pouches on her belt, she passes over a micro first aid kit to Leyanne. Should at least be able to stop the bleeding.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang leans over, peering at the hologram curiously. "Cool. This is like the CCT transmitters." she reaches out to see if she can pass her hand right through Kilasula's holographic form, then looks up at the stoic elf. "Yo. Name's Yang. Yang Xiao Long. But I guess you should use Sun Dragon, if we're going with codenames. That or Goldilocks." she smirks, then hears Leyanne. The pain in her voice makes the girl wince, as she moves over to the tall mouse. "C'mon Tiny, lets get you back to the Tower and get that patched up... I'm sure your bike'll be fine." she looks over to White Wind for confirmation. "We can pick it up later."
Septette Arcubielle      The little killbot moseys on over to the drone and inclines her head slightly by way of introducing herself. Septette seems to have lost her shawl at around the same time that she stabbed a helicopter, revealing a black-and-tan mechanical body that almost resembles a human skeleton from the neck down. She's even got a pulsing red core roughly where a heart would be, nestled inside her hollow ribcage, and black hydraulic tubing in place of muscles.

It's hard to find exact parallels to anything Kilasula would be familiar with. If she's an augmented human, there's barely room inside her skeletal frame for a brain-jar, let alone anything else. If she's a drone, she's an uncommonly well-piloted and robust one; even the expressions of her synthetic face are convincingly lifelike. And neither of those would explain the magic...

Electing to ignore Laura's barbs for now, she introduces herself. "Pleased to meet you, Ms. Kilasula. I go by Septette Arcubielle. Not a member of the Watch, but happy to help regardless- I like to make good first impressions." The way she says that last name makes it sound like a sequence of letters. R-Q-B-L...
Lyria Mason Lyria has managed to catch up with everyone else thanks to the help of a strange serpent like drone of hers She looks to the car and nos figuring No Brakes, can see it.

"All right then No Brakes, who am I to judge at names from another world."

She grins a little bit before she looks to White Wind and she says

"Right, that was a bit crazy even my experience. I never seen cops breaking out high explosives like that before."

She notes to the hologram and White Wind.

"Lyria will work for now. Good to meet you, and you made a heck of an entrance."
August Kohler As the drone comes on out, August approaches it, and starts by staring at the hologram. "If that's not what you actually look like, that's a hell of an avatar." It doesn't seem to be a compliment, as he stands next to Septette. "August Kohler." He doesn't bring attention to the fact that he's the Cloak (even though it's public), instead just introducing himself as he normally would. "Don't worry about Arcubielle here. She's trustworthy enough to work with us from time to time. Do you have a place to set up, No Brakes? If not, you can crash at a Watchtower while the heat dies down." A glance at the others. "Any injuries?"
No Brakes     Now, the Avatar just looks at August with a pout, "Nah, I couldn't spring for any of the mods that I wanted, what with my real body and all being laid up in a 'chair." she mutters, "Good to meet you , August. I have a place sorta near here... about a hundred or so miles east. It's relatively secure but I think I'll take a look at the Watchtower, just... hope you don't mind that I won't get out of my car... I mean, you guys aren't the Aces High Club..." the avatar gives a shrug before grinning.

And turning right towards Lyria, "Hey, you ain't bad yourself. That shot helped the mouse there.. and saved me and W. W. here a trip to an actual doctor." White Wind Interjects, "What do you mean /ACTUAL/ doctor!?" There's a chuckle, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." there's a headshake and she nods, "Lyria, huh? Thanks."

She turns her head this time to Septette... and pauses. "You'll forgive me if I wonder what the fuck you are... but your assistance is well appreciated. You're nothing like what we have here, even for a magic slinging... something." was that a compliment? Hard to really tell. "I wonder..." and there's a glare from White Wind to that hologram, "I don't wonder..." and a firm nod from White Wind.

Who turns to Tiny, "Hey, let's see if I can't do something about that. The back of the Roadmaster has a med bay, could stablilize that wound for you. Free this time, you helped us. Don't know what got you worked up out there but remind me to never call you that R word."

The catgirl looks to Yang and smirks, "Sun Dragon indeed, jeeze, had to unjack from my drone because of that. I'll recover, don't worry.." the hand goes right through the hologram and it has a really preturbed face on her now. "Why must /everyone/ do that?!"

Finally, Laura gets a look, "You did good. Thanks Wolverine."
Laura Kinney Laura Kinney gives another nod. "If you can disable whatever tracking there is on this, I can drive it back to Tiny's workshop." She nods towards the Guardian, which minus scratches and bullet marks on its armor plating, seems to still be in good condition. I am glad I could help."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace takes Laura's first aid kit with a nod of thanks. She wraps up the stump of her antenna, slowly. She nods to Yang "Skrat can take himself home." She answers, with a smile. "He'll be fine. Thank you, let me just wrap this up so I don't leak all over you."

She's still at work when August asks his question. "Nothing life-threatening here. Just... hurts a lot." She looks through the kit for a painkiller that will work on her, but then White Wind makes her offer. The mouse sags in relief, still half-way through wrapping up her antenna. "Oh that'd be wonderful, thank you." At mention of the R-word, she blushes, the inside of her ears turning a pretty shade of pink. "Um... yeah it's... sort of a racial thing. We, uh, we got called rats, a lot, by our enemies. Vermin, and food, a lot too so a lot of us kinda wig out a bit about it. Colonel Modo's rages about it are legendary in the MFF"

She looks apologetically to Yang "You OK with waiting until I get patched up? I'm not going to be fit to ride for a day or two"
Yang Xiao Long     "Got all night Tiny, take your time." replies the blonde brawler.

August's question earns a raised brow. "A bit cooked, but I'll live. Thank Dust for Aura." she replies snidely. She still has zero trust in the Persona User.
Septette Arcubielle      "I'm a person," Septette replies- her tone is quite blunt, but not unkind. Interesting that she avoids the word 'human', though. "There are lots of unusual people in the Multiverse; one gets used to it. But feel free to ask me any questions you like once you're settled and secure. I don't really sleep, so you can usually reach me on radio."

"Now, if you'll excuse me," she concludes before turning on her heel, "I ought to get back home. I've got obligations that need to be taken care of, sadly. Hope to see you all around." She takes a couple of steps away before pulling something taut between her hands. It's a gossamer thread, looking like fishing line or perhaps spider silk. The instant that it snaps in half from the strain, she disappears in a small column of glittering light.
