Lunara      It's been a while since Lunara wound up in some strange city by accident as she has gotten a lot more used to Warpgate travel since Azeroth became part of the Multiverse. Today she has come upon one more through aimless wandering, and decided to stick around. As much as modern cities make her skin crawl, she refuses to let fear control her, and the best way to overcome fear of something is to confront it.

It appears she's ended up in Kyoto Japan, and she had to admit, it wasn't so bad. There were many gardens spaced throughout the otherwise bustling city. Coming upon a larger one, she decides to step off the street and begins wandering through through the garden. No one was around, but there was what looked like a large home, or perhaps a temple, nestled further back at the end of a winding path. Lunara stops at the top of a arched bridge over a small pond, unaware she is being followed.

A few moments later, a man appears from behind a tree. He is dressed simply in a tshirt and jeans, has brown hair and green eyes, which are locked upon Lunara. He aims what appears like a strange gun at her and fires, softly muttering. "Got you now, my how pretty you are."

Lunara suddenly finds herself immobilized, wrapped by some sort of energy rope. Her arms are bound to her chest and her legs are restricted to the point she can hardly walk. She looks around for her captor while struggling against the bonds, locking eyes on the man with eyes burning with the hatred of a thousand suns. "You! Release me at once or I will make sure you suffer greatly for this indiscretion." The man just grins. "No, I think you will make a fine addition to my collection." He says as he pulls out a device and after several taps on a touch screen, a portal forms.
Alden Random news and reports are common in the multiverse, and it is hard to differentiate between truth, hoaxes, or even jokes!. At this time, he was busy on his usual exploration, always interesting seeing other versions of familiar places... he visited Kyoto with his tamer in the past, and wondered what, if anything, would be different!.
And thus far, it had been a fun, casual trip, even if some people were a bit freaked out by him, a few managed to call him cute, or more often, wonder about his costume, and the 'toy' perched on his shoulder. Katze personally seemed to delight in playing as a toy, being perfectly still until someone approached, then suddenly snapping into action adn greeting them or waving.
He was entering the gardens, surprised at the variety of plants, when he hears a bit of conmotion not that far. He can see a glance of a familiar centaur like creature, evidently bound against her will, being dragged through an odd portal and he dashes behind them, trying to catch up, "Stop!"
Lunara      The collector is busy trying to push Lunara through the portal. Even bound as she is, Lunara does put up a good struggle and the man is unable to make her budge by just pushing her. Unfortunately he came prepared. He pulls out an electric cattle prod, jabs it into her rump and pushes the button. The surprise of the sudden and rather powerful electrical shock is enough that Lunara lets out a yelp and stumbles through the portal just as Alden yells stop. "Sounds like it's time to go." The man says as he to slips through the portal without even looking at Alden. However, the portal does remain open for a moment, allowing Alden a chance to slip through if he hurries.
Alden Alden is, for better or worse, not the kind to plan thinks through when it comes to helping people, and the cattle prod trick seems to have motivated him that much more to rescue and perhaps punish that person, if the growl and the lick of blue flames appearing on hsi snout is a sign. Katze just struggles to hold onto the 'pelt', "Alden! wait! do you even know where that leads?" she pleads, while the gabumon X rushes and tries jumping through the portal, "Let her go!" he mumbles as he slips into the closing gate.
Lunara      Through the portal, Alden and Lunara find themselves in a fairly large room that seems to be the center of this collector's personal 'zoo'. A four corridors, two on each side, lead off from the room, each lined with enclosures housing various rare and strange creatures from across the multiverse. The look more like prison cells than what you'd find in a more humane zoo however, as they are far too small for most who, like Lunara, would prefer to live in wide open spaces, and there is not really anywhere to hide. Lunara looks around and only appears to grow even more angry. "You are a sick freak. You have taken all manner of creatures to keep them here as if they are your property. I'm no expert on multiverse law, but I'm pretty sure you're breaking more than a few..."

Tired of listening, the collector gags Lunara. Once Alden makes his way through the portal, the he turns to look upon the gabumon X and grins wickedly. "Oh, what luck, I get two for the price of one today!" He muses as he raises his binding gun and aims it at Alden before firing.
Alden Alden seems stunned by the cruel display around him, just staring at the multiple cages and the poor creatures stuffed into them!. He only turns back to the hunter when he hears the final words, growling loudly and jumping aside. "Petit Fire!" he exclaims, a blue fire stream coming from his muzzle, aimed at the gun, while Katze jumps down from his shoulder and starts fumbling on the deck of cards for a good card to use.
Lunara      Lunara continues to struggle, trying to work her way free of her binds, but they hold her tight, and it would appear that her only hope of getting out is if they are deactivated. Burned by the stream of fire, the collector attemts to flee through a door on the north side of the room while pushing a few buttons on his touch screen device again. A moment later a hydra roars as it escapes from it's opened enclosure and begains making it's way down the corridor, toward Alden and Lunara, and it looks hungry.
Alden The digimon growls in frustration, yet his first goal is reaching Lunara, or perhaps, grab the weird gun, to check if she was harmed!. That gives the human a chance to activate the device and trap. Thankfully, by the time the Hydra stomps out into view, Katze manages to find the card she was looking for, forcing the thing through the reading slot of his D-Arc.
As soon as that happens, Alden's form is engulfed in light, his sillouette seemingly breaking appart, before reappearing as a much larger, bipedal wolf creature, wielding metal gloves capped with long, sharp claws. He snarls and growls to the monster, not wanting to get it involved in a fight, even as he reaches to try to undo the bindings.
Lunara      The man escapes through an electronic door, leaving Alden and Lunara alone in the zoo with the freed and ravenous hydra. At first, the hydra viewed both of them as a meal, but once Alden digivolves, he is now seen as a threat getting in the way of the hydra's next meal. The bindings seem to short out and vanish as Alden works at them with his claws.

While Alden is at work, the hydra tries to bite him from behind. At the same time, finally freed, Lunara pulls out her gag and uses her magic to summon a cruel looking spear to her hand. She wonders what exactly Alden is, but now was not the time for questions. She aims and throws her spear at the middle head of the hydra, impaling it through the mouth.
Alden The digimon moves back when the Hydra tries to bite at him, watching the spear pierce the creature's middle head with a surprised noise. He momentarily wonders if the monster is ok... he rather not destroy it!. But he is also aware the monster might still try to eat him and Lunara, if given a chance!. "Are you ok?" he asks, waiting for any simple answer, before charging at the oversized beast.
His claws are engulfed in crimson energy, raising them and slashing the air in front of him. "Kaiser Nail!". The claws leave a crimson trail in the shape of an X, which flies forward at high speed, aiming to slam into the creature's body. It is not a cutting attack, but rather a long range slam, strong enough to send creatures larger than himflying, and push them through a brick/concrete wall. Of course, he has no clue what creature is this, nor if even a hit like this is enough.
Lunara      "I'm fine, thanks to you." Lunara answers quickly. She then watches as Alden slams into the beast, knocking it into the wall, which appears to be made of some sort of reinforced metal. It dents, but doesn't give way. While the beast is stunned, Lunara uses her magic to entangle the beast in thick roots. She then moves to retrieve her spear from the middle head.

"If this is like any hydra I've heard of, it will either heal or grow a new head, maybe two." She comments before turning to look upon the door through which the man escaped. "For now, I think we should find the horrible excuse for a man who created this place, once we've dealt with him, we can see about freeing the poor beasts he has imprisoned here... Agreed?"
Alden The large wolf man relaxes when the beast seems to be subdued, returning to Lunara's side, "I'm glad." he says softly, "That's a rather interesting ability." he says with a grin, hoping that the beast would recover, it was not it's fault to be there. He moves to examine the odd door, tapping on it with his claws, "Do you think some small explosions might break this?" he asks outloud, either to Lunara or himself, it was hard to tell. "I mean, I can try to do that... or try to cut it, but not sure how dense it is, unless you have another idea?" he says, smiling. He nods vehemently when asked about 'dealing' with that person, "Agreed."
Lunara Looking at the door more closely, Lunara shakes her head. "Looks pretty solid and tight to me. I don't believe I have any way of getting through it, so by all means, try whatever you can I suppose. I hope we can catch up with the man before he has a chance to flee this place, wherever it is..." She offers as she stands back a bit to allow Alden to work at the door. "I'm Lunara by the way, first of the dryads."
Alden Alden wonders how the door looks like, the wall?, anything nearby that might be destroyed if things explode on the door?. He joins to check the door, tapping it with his claws, and licking his nose cutely. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lunara, I am Alden, and she is Katze." he says, pointing to the Shinki prodding the struggling Hydra curiously. "Now, please stand back... I can't control that well how strong the blasts are." he warns.

Katze seems to get the idea, and quickly finds another card, working it through the reader of the D-Arc. Not unlike before, Alden digivolves, only this time, what is left in front of Lunara doesn't really ressemble anything alive. A figure emerges, perhaps even bigger than before, bipedal. Covered head to toe in heavy, metal seeming armor... or is it completely mechanical?. It is heavily armer, a couple missle pods located on his left shoulder and the sides of both legs. legs. A heavy minigun seems to replace his left arm. On his right shoulder, a long, flat barrel, perhaps a gun of some sort, is pointing up right now, at 'rest'.

The figure turns to face the door, eyes glowing as he seems to scan the target, before the missile pods on his legs burst into life, six projectiles (if one was able to take a good look, they might notice they had eyes and a mouth painted on them, not unlike bullet bills) shoot to the solid doorway, engulfing it in explosions, and hopefully destroying it, or at least dislodging it from it's hinges.
Lunara Lunara backs up at Alden's warning, and backs up even further as he digivolves again, watching in awestruck horror as he turns into some sort of mechanical monster that looks like a super weapon. The blast from the missiles obliterates the door, sending pieces of it flying down the hallway ahead. Lunara is still staring at Alden though. "You changed again. What in the Nether are you?" She asks with a clearly uncertain tone, grip on her spear tightening.
Alden The digimon waits until the smoke clears, and the door seems to be taken care of, not quite watching Lunara's reaction, at least not yet. He lets out a soft sigh, and in a flash of light, returns to his Gabumon form, "I'm glad that worked... need to save energy in case something happens.". The small creature turns around, and blinks at Lunara's shock and nervousness, "What's wrong?" he asks.

To him, digivolving is normal, never met anyone that seemed about to stab him because of it! He takes a few steps back, blinking, "I'm a Digimon, digital monster." he says, not much of an explanation all in all. Katze approaches carefully, "Calm down, he is not bad."
Lunara Lunara is frightened and confused, but given that Alden has helped her greatly so far, she gives him a chance to explain before deciding whether or not to make shish kebab out of him. Thankfully Lunara has been among the multiverse long enough to at least have a very basic understanding of what digital meant. However a wholely digital being was still a difficult concept for her to wrap her head around.

"So let me see if I understand this. You are made of data? That just gives me more questions though. How is that even possible? You just blew away a metal door with very real looking rockets of some sort... How can data do that?" She sighs and shakes her head. "Just when I feel like I'm finally starting to understand things the multiverse throws me another curve. Why couldn't I just stay in the forests where things make sense..."
Alden The digimon seems to feel nervous, and even a bit sad at the reaction, "I... can't explain that... it just... happened? was made like that?" he mumbles, "It's like asking a human why is it made of meat..." he mumbles, "We were created as... computer things, and somewhere down the line... we evolved to our own home, connected to the human world." he says softly.

"Can you explain me where those plants or that spear came from, in a way that I might understand?" he tries, "I am betting it's magic, that seems the answer most non digimon things say for explaining that." he keeps away just in case, "I mean... I can't explain why I am solid... I just... am, same way with my weapons, I make them, they are part of me as much as your hair is part of you.". He lets out a faint chuckle, "I had that same thought a few times already... why me, get thrown to the multiverse, it's really confusing." he mumbles.
