Tomoyo Daidouji     On the outskirts of OMNI's city, there is a vast, grassless plane. And just beyond that is thick woodland, untouched for decades. Until now. The city limits technically lie somewhere in these woods, a point beyond which their restrictive laws against artistic expression ends. And beyond that point is a stage.

It's been erected quickly, designed to be easily taken back down afterwards. In spite of that, the lights that hang above it, and the holographic emitters are all cutting edge. There are no fences, no ticket gates. Profit is not the aim here. Many people are already milling before the stage, citizens making the trek from the city. More still are on the way, the route patrolled by the city's security forces. They also stay just inside the limits, keeping an eye on the concert area.

Walking around the area, wearing a headset through which she receives reports. "Lights, sound, everything working? Security, any problems? Costuming, are our performers ready?" Said performers would likely be behind the stage, getting dressed in trailers set up for that purpose.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang fidgets a bit in the dress she's been given for the show. Not from discomfort, perish the thought if it's a Tomoyo design, but from the fact she's not used to it. "You can do this Yang. S'just like all those times Oobleck dragged you to the front of class to give an oral report." she smirks, then looks herself over in the mirror again. "Besides, you'll probably knock everyone out there speechless looking like this." She twirls, then stretches. "Looking damn fine there girl."
Leyanne Leyanne Mace heralds her own arrival with the chortling rumble of her civilian bike, a custom-tuned Harley. She pulls up in the parking lot, taking off her helmet and shaking out her long, blue hair. She puts her beret on, checks her hair in the mirror, then picks up a large backpack that rattles. She settles it in place on both shoulders - whatever's inside is clearly big enough that even Leyanne makes sure it's seated right - and then makes her way into the concert area, trusting in her eight-foot height and generally imposing stature to pass through the concert's security.

At least that's the plan. She's carrying a little insurance in case things go south, and it would be inconvenient to be searched...
Rebecca Chambers Concerts are fun, if you're the attendee. If you're working there... well, you get a free show, don't you! That is, if you're able to do so without neglecting your duties, right?

For Rebecca Chambers, she may look like she's an eager attendee, with her casual attire on and all that. But in reality, she's working undercover as a security operative. She figures since she's plainclothes, no one would think of suspecting she's working detail here. In fact, she's even gotten a front row seat so she won't be missing any of the show. Of course, in her left ear is a small communicator that allows her to get messages and receive them without anyone knowing.

For now, Rebecca is sitting there comfortably, with her soda pop and her popcorn, eagerly awaiting the show to start. At least that's how it looks.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna leans towards her mirror briefly, looking closer as she adjusts an earring, then straightens up, turning to inspect her reflection from different angles. "Tomoyo's designs never disappoint, do they?" she remarks - mostly to herself, although Elner is hovering in the corner as well. And on that note, she looks over to the little robo-faerie, and asks, "How do I look?" before turning around for Elner's scrutiny.

"More than satisfactory, as best I can tell," Elner replies. "And you've picked out your songs and provided the music where required?"

Yuna nods, taking a deep breath, then letting it out. "Yeah. I hope the audience likes them."

Admittedly, the main audience for this concert is supposed to be a computer who won't even be there 'in person,' but you never know who else might arrive. Yuna is actually a little worried on that front, but she's doing her best not to show it as she checks her appearance in the mirror one more time. Besides having Elner around, Jiina, Marina, and Erina are supporting the security detail, currently in 'plainclothes mode' as it were; if anything big and nasty DOES happen, she ought to be ready. But as usual for her concerts, she's hoping - indeed, she's *praying* - for a minimum of off-stage excitement.
Sanary Rondel Sanary's here, too! Although she's been helping out OMNI visibly and the Inspiration Trust in a more indirect sense with this matter, today's different. Today, she's helping out the Trust and the artists more directly! The healer's dressed in a more casual outfit that makes her look more like a civilian than anyone in a working capacity, but she's hanging around backstage and peeking around corners to keep her eye on things.

"You'll do fine, Yang. Yuna. I mean, we're this far out, there's clearly no profit... Uh. Motive? And your outfits look fine." She peeks around towards Yuna and Yang to give them a reassuring thumbs up, then leans back around to keep an eye on the crowds further away again. "You need any water or whatever before heading out?"
Rarity The event has two fashion experts backing it. Between Tomoyo and Rarity no one should have want for proper attire for attending a concert.

Right now however Rarity's attention isn't on outfits. There had been a stage to set up, decorations to adorn it, and now they had to make sure the potential party was properly provided with refreshments.

Fortunately, for times like this Rarity had a secret weapon.

And her name was Pinkie Pie.

Whom which is practically vibrating with excitement behind the table that been set up for dispensing of popcorn, various flavors of juice, and a mindboggling assortment of cupcakes and snack bars in mass quanities to go around. It in itself was practically an art display, showcasing how food could be as vibrant in appearance as it is in taste, rather than repatitiously bland.

But since Pinkie was busy making all the food, distributing it from the stand fell upon three young pony helpers. Whom managed to get ready without knocking the stage or anything else down. "You've done well setting up, girls." After a glance around to make sure no one sees her making such a 'commoner' gesture Rarity holds up a forehoof, for Sweetie Belle, Applebloom and Scootaloo to each bop with their owns. "And with no fireworks this time, thank Celestia."

"Not yet at least!" There's a pause as Rarity gives them a sidelong look, then the other two start giggling as Sweetie Belle finishes. "Just kidding, big sis! No fireworks. Cross our hearts and hope to fly; stick cupcakes in our eyes!" The trio mimic the gestures to go along with borrowing the 'Pinkie Promise' rhyme.

Which seems to be enough for Rarity as she nods with approval and walks away.

"Kinda bummer 'bout the no firewowrks," Applebloom drawls once Rarity has left. "But they gots those fancy holograms and such Ah guess."

"It's okay girls," Scootaloo chimes as lifts up the back end of the cover over the table, showing one of Pinkie Pie's cannons hidden underneath. "She didn't say anything about t-shirt cannons!"
Tomoyo Daidouji     "The stage looks marvellous everyone," Tomoyo says in a complimentary fashion through her headset. Rarity and her team really did a very good job on it. She also partakes in the juice, which is similarly excellent. No pressing issues brought up by security should mean that everything is clear to begin. By now, the clearing is jostling with the attendees, enjoying the food and bundling up against the cold in anticipation for the show to begin. Many are looking at the trees as if they've never seen them before.

"Okay, we're ready. Yuna, Yang, make your way to the stage please."

When those trailer doors fly open, the two are resplendent in the outfits Tomoyo made. Yang's dress is a cheongsam in the same vibrant yellow as her hair. The slits up the side ride pretty high up, but not enough to be scandalous, and three black braids on each side help keep them together around the thighs. For her arms, there is a pair of elbow-length opera gloves, black to offset the bright yellow dress, with matching thigh-highs on her legs. She also has a black headset with a built-in microphone... and fake branching horns coming from the headband. Her shoes are simple platforms in yellow and scale patterns. All in all, it's a surprisingly... unadorned outfit. Did Tomoyo hold back out of concern for Yang's tastes? The strangest thing about it, once put on, is that... it's oddly heavy for being made of simple fabric.

Yuna's dress is a dark blue, white frill affair. It's sleeveless with wide, high skirts and lighter blue bloomers worn underneath. On the back are a pair of small fake angel wings in pure white. In contrast to Yang, she has wrist-length white gloves and low white socks, going well with the dark blue. Her shoes are rather plain mary janes in the same dark blue as the dress, with white wings coming from the ankles. Her headset is blue, with more wings coming from the ears. It's a more elaborate outfit that Yang's... maybe Tomoyo has a better grasp on the idol's tastes?

Tomoyo hits a button on her headset, and her words are broadcast to the crowd as she sits at the A/V console. "Ladies and gentlement, honoured guests... and OMNI, if you're watching, somewhere far away. It's my greatest pleasure and joy to give you your entertainment for the evening. Yang Xiao Long, the Sunny Dragon! And Yuna Kagurazaka, the Saviour of Light!" Her fingers dance across the board, making the stage shine with lights and lasers. The stage directions inform that the two should get on from opposite sides and let themselves be tracked by spotlights!
Yang Xiao Long     Yang grins, stepping out of the trailer. She nods to Yuna after hearing Tomoyo's instructions. The Sunny Dragon gestures to the right side of the stage, letting Yuna come up from the left.

Once she's in view of the crowd and the spotlight, she lifts her arms up, and speaks into the microphon on her headset. "Good evening everyone! Can I get a cheer for my partner tonight? She's a real knockout gal!" she says, husky voice echoing from the speakers. She's certainly not a singer, though she can hold a tune. That's probably not what she's here for anyway.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna nods in reply to Yang, then walks around and up to the left side of the stage, smiling as brightly and warmly as always and waving to the crowd as she heads from the stairs to the middle. She's matching Yang's pace - not too fast, not too slow - so they reach the middle at the same moment. "Hey everybody!" she calls out to the audience. "And let's have a big hand for Yang as well; I'm looking forward to singing with her!"

She gives Yang another brief look, still smiling - maybe trying to convey a bit of encouragement to her - before her gaze returns to the crowd.
Rebecca Chambers As soon as Yuna and Yang step out onto the stage, Rebecca's one of the first to applaud. She immediately stands up and starts cheering for both girls, whistling occasionally while smiling reassuringly at both of them. She'd offer words of encouragement, but she'd have to shout loudly for them to be heard, and she doesn't want to risk straining her vocal cords for when she'll start cheering later on.

That is, assuming her superiors behind the scenes approve.

After a few moments of applauding, Rebecca sits back down and speaks softly into her communicator. "I'm sorry about that, I just got a little... you know."

"Don't worry about it, Rebecca. You're supposed to look like a civilian right now, remember that."

"Understood." With that Rebecca applauds some more, even though she's sitting down.
Rarity Out of concern for her tastes... Or because of them? Rarity would certainly believe the latter. For what little she knew of Yang, she got the impression she would prefer something less... flamboyant in decoration. She could certainly be attention-grabbing enough with her bombastic personality!

Or maybe she was going to do something other than sing, which required her to be less burdened in baubles? The only way to find out is going to be to watch!

There's no other pressing matters from preperation so Rarity takes her place just off-sides from the stage, where she's ready should someone need a makeup touchup or an extra cue. Even if she's not the center of attention right now. But that's okay, it's not her show. She's doing everything she can to make it the best for the two performers trying to get their point across.

Rarity fiddles with her own headset for a moment, after making sure her dress is still in order. "Excellent work on the outfits dahling~" she compliments Tomoyo's handiwork. It's an honest compliment, she can appreciate the work of others. Not to mention she's done enough stage outfits for Yuna, Sapphire Shores and others to know how much time and effort really go into such things.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace gets inside unsearched, thankfully, and cheers along with the crowd, finding a place to mingle, near the back so she doesn't obscure the view too much, and she can watch the crowd for signs of troublemakers. She grins, waiting for the show to begin, throwing the horns. Even so far back, the giant mouse stands out in the crowd. She finds a place to relax and just watch the show
Sanary Rondel So much for getting them water. "Ah.. There's the signal. Go, go. Me and the others'll keep things under control, so you just do what you do." Sanary brings her hand up in a quick thumbs up to Yuna and Yang, then swings back around to take the long way around the stage. As nice as their outfits look, though, the healer can't watch them for too long since she's still got a job to do! She nods towards Rarity as she passes by, pausing to glance around a few times into the crowd.

"Hey there! You brought the kids today?" Although Sanary sounds mostly relaxed, there is a hint of concern in her voice. It'd be hard not to, considering what she had heard happened the first time around. "Doesn't look like there's gonna be too much trouble for now, at least."
August Kohler August is running late. That's because he's preparing. He needed to procure a pistol - something small, not very good, but usable, which he has secured in a holster - before arriving. When he arrives, his hood is down, the gun is secured to not be immediately visible/frightening anyone who looks at him, as he moves around to get behind the stage. To those still back there, he bows apologetically. "Sorry I'm late. Missed a bus on the way to the warpgate. No security issues while I was gone?" Once he's done that, he begins patrolling, taking a long walk around the stage and taking a route opposite that of Sanary's after realizing she's also security, in order to maximize protection.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace nods to Sanary and August in turn as they pass her. She's also here to keep things under control, and in her bag she's got something completely unsuitable for a concert, just in case some people completely unsuitable for a concert show up. She trusts August and Sanary and the others to deal with most security matters... she's just there for the music, and the miniscule chance that there's a situation that requires an eight foot mouse.
Tomoyo Daidouji     The audience... applauds a little to welcome Yang and Yuna. There are a few 'woo!'s too. Maybe not the warmest reception they've ever had. "They've never been to a concert in their lives," Tomoyo whispers into her headset. "Don't be discouraged, just go into the first song. They'll get into it then~"

Meawhile, she responds to others over the headset. "You're fine Miss Chambers. Please, try to enjoy the show~" In response to Rarity's praise, she says, "Why thank you! Wait until you see what they can do~" In response to August showing up late, she says, "It's okay Mister Kohler, no troubles have arisen."

Those who are playing at being security tonight would find little to worry about in the crowd as of now. Everyone is just waiting patiently for the show to begin. Tomoyo begins shifting the lights in anticipation for the first song and hisses, "Now's the time. You can do it you two~!"
Rarity The Crusaders glance towards the sidestage where Rarity is sitting, then duck into a huddle behind the stall. "So when do we get out the big surprise?," Sweetie Belle asks her friends, glancing aside at the table the t-shirt party cannon is hidden under.
"Not 'til after the first song at least," Applebloom whisper-drawls back. "We don't wanna disrupt their first big impression."
"Besides, they need to -like- the performance before they're gonna want t-shirts to remember it."
Sweetie Belle taps a hoof to her chin. Scootaloo does have a good point."
"Of course I d--Hey!" Scootaloo hops on Sweetie Belle to give her a light noogie.
"Don't mess up my mane!", Sweetie Belle yips back, "It took forever to get curled perfectly for tonight!"
And then Applebloom tries to get between the two of them. "Oh com'n girls! Stop it before ya cause a scene!"

As the three squabble around they bump against the stall, making the table shake a little but other than some juice sloshing about in cups nothing falls over. Yet at least.
Sanary Rondel Spotting August and Leyanne moving about, Sanary raises her hand in a quick wave to them before turning her attention back to the goings on with the actual performance. She might not have had much experience with concerts herself, but even she can tell that this crowd is decidedly lacking in energy.

Time to try and fix that a bit. The healer waits until she's closer to the back of the audience before whooping suddenly, belting out at the top of her lungs. "YEAH! Woo!" She just starts shouting that and other excited, yet vaguely incoherent noises. Noise is good for riling up concert crowds, right?
Rebecca Chambers "Got it," Rebecca replies before settling back into her seat. She takes a sip of her soda and a handful of popcorn. "Good to be able to relax and enjoy the show for a change," She says with a smirk. "I needed this time off ever since the experiment that failed a few days ago in the Bio-Research Center."

Another chuckle as she leans back a little more, crossing one leg over the other. "Well, now's not the time to worry about that!"
Leyanne Leyanne Mace waves her hand to Sanary, taking a sip from her drink. She cheers along with Sanary, trying to help build the crowd up a little.
Yuna Kagurazaka The lights go down, and the music comes up - basically one extended chord fading in - before the melody kicks in, and Yuna begins singing:

o/~    Now a shooting star flies across the night sky
If you see it, what will you wish for?
The promise we exchanged when you started your journey
    Is always in my heart

It's a fairly sedate song to begin with, but Yuna still puts her heart into singing as the bridge leads into the first real stanza.

o/~    In a sleepless night, it's your voice I want to hear
Talking all night until the morning sun rises

o/~    Side by side, talking enraptured,
    Your profile was shining ...

It's very much a love song, but Yuna's songs tend to be strongly emotional in *some* regard - whether it's love, peace, friendship, or simple resolve, Yuna's style on stage is to project what's in her heart, and the song she's chosen to lead off with is no exception.

o/~    You who follow your dreams, I who watch over you,
The same star sheds its light on us both
I want to walk without looking back
Enduring my tears until I see you leave

o/~    Now a shooting star flies across the night sky
If you see it, what will you wish for?
The promise we exchanged when you started your journey
    Is always in my heart

There's a slightly longer instrumental bridge before the second verse picks up; it's not much of a breather, but Yuna dances (fairly sedately) with the music before continuing to sing.

o/~    I want to be the one who can always enfold you
And softly hide you in the inviting loneliness

o/~    I've started getting impatient that
Time has flowed on since then, but ...

o/~    If emotions overlap a dazzling star
They can turn into a powerful love
So that the place where you walk by yourself
Can become something we're sure of

o/~    Now a shooting star flies across the night sky
If you see it, what will you wish for?
"No matter where you are, we're connected"
    Your words are revived

There's a longer bridge now, and Yuna dances further with the more-energetic music - a chance for the backing band to show off their skills some more. Yuna might even draw Yang into dancing with her, although it's only for a moment before the last choruses are due, reprising some of the earlier lyrics.

o/~    You who follow your dreams, I who watch over you,
The same star sheds its light on us both
I want to walk without looking back
Enduring my tears until I see you leave

o/~    Now a shooting star flies across the night sky
If you see it, what will you wish for?
The promise we exchanged when you started your journey
    Is always in my heart

And the music fades out from there; rather than dancing, Yuna stands still on the stage until it fades, and bows to the audience before stepping back to let Yang take the spotlight.
Yang Xiao Long (The Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzgdWoAhe9E )

Yang nods to Yuna, silently taking center stage after the other girl finishes. Soft piano music begins to tinkle softly through the speakers, before the Blonde Brawler starts to sing.

    Long ago, before we met,
    I dreamed about you.
    The peace you'd bring.
    The songs we'd sing.
The way you'd make things new.

The music remains soft, delicate, though Yang's voice isn't exactly suited to singing, it remains determined, pouring out her heart.

    Then one day, you arrived.
    I heard your angel cry.
    Helpless, small, and perfect,
    Welcome to your life.

It comes clear to those who know her, that this is a Song very close to Yang's heart. The emotion pouring out of her is intense. She even had a few special holograms put up showing a brunette girl with silver eyes totally dorking out, excitedly bouncing and running, just enjoying live to the fullest.

And on that day, I made a vow.
    Whispered and true.
No matter what, no matter how,
I made this promise to you.

Her eyes sparkly in the light, as a faint glow of yellow ambience surrounds her. Her Aura flares out like a pair of wings, amorphous and ephemeral, but they add to the 'dragon' motif.
I will cling, I will clutch,
I'll hold onto you, I won't turn away.
    I won't leave, I won't go,
I will stay with you all our days.

Yang's eyes shimmer, a memory bringing a tear to her eye that slowly cascades down her cheek. She's not crying, but the tear of joy escapes her regardless.

Years of joy have past since then.
With time I seen you grow.
Watched you play, new each day.
I begged the time to slow.

The song seems to be coming to a close, the blonde closing her eyes as a smile tugs up her lips. The hologram then changes to show that girl standing on a rock at the top of a hill, seen from below. She's backlit by overcast skies and the sun shining through like a halo around her head.

And though I miss the little girl,
    You've made me awful proud.
    Funny how our lives change,
    Cause you're my hero now.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace cheers and tries to whip up the crowd between the songs, and afterwards as well. She puts two fingers into her mouth and lets out a cheerful whistle of support. Even while cheering folks on she watches over the crowd for signs of trouble. They're less enthusiasatic than she'd like, but at least those around the giant mouse are showing signs of enjoyment.
Tomoyo Daidouji     As Yuna breaks into song, Tomoyo works the lights, keeping the two on stage illuminated, making lights and lasers strobe to enhance the effect. And then, as the Saviour of Light hits the crescendo, she flips a special switch on the board.

Those model wings upon her back erupt into a fountain of light, holographic emitters presenting an image of a greater pair of wings unfurling from there. They stay with her, moving with her dance and even fluttering realistically. The crowd gasps in awe, entranced. They start getting into it, cheering alongside Leyanne through the second half of the song.

And now Yang steps up, and they cheer again. However, once the tone of the song is set, they hush up and listen close. The holographic girl they don't recognize, but the tenderness in Yang's song makes them recognize the girl as someone dear. As the Huntress lets her Aura flare, Tomoyo smiles and whispers, "Perfect," before flipping another switch. The reason for the dress's bulkiness becomes apparent as lights come on under the fabric, shining white in scale patterns, adding to the dragon motif.

As the second song ends, rapturous applause begins anew. A lot of the crowd is crying a little. Tomoyo herself applauds softly and whispers into her mic, "That was beautiful. Well done, both of you."

However, those playing security might notice a bit of a scuffle in the centre of the crowd. People seem to e congregating there, shoving others out of the way. What's going on?
Leyanne Leyanne Mace peers at the little scuffle, frowning. Her cybernetic hand goes up to the side of her face, a commlink concealed in the palm. <<August, Sanary.>> She radios. <<Scuffle in the centre, where the mosh pit is supposed to be>>
She takes her backpack off and sets it down in case this escalates
Rebecca Chambers Rebecca gets into the song, tapping her foot and nodding along to the beat. She really seems to like the music, and when the tune is finished, she stands up and applauds. "Bravo, Yang and Yuna! That was totally fantastic!" However, her attention to the girls is taken away by somehow noticing the scuffle, and she glances over in that direction. A frown forms on her face and she turns to face it more. She can't tell entirely what's going on from her current spot, so she moves to check it out.

"Possible fight in progress in the center. Going to check it out." Rebecca radios to her superior about this as she starts to head for the scene of the scuffle. It's natural for scuffles to break out at concerts, but sometimes, things can be worse than first appearance. As she gets closer, she calls out, "Hey, break it up! Break it up!" A tone of authority is in her voice.
Rarity Rarity claps her hooves together in applause, both for the performance and because that was an epic costuming trick with the lightup dress. "Bravo! Bravo! Magnifique!" Which means she's so wrapped up in the performance that she's not paying attention to the concession stand, either.

The playful scuffling of the three fillies bumps into the table again. And again. The table doesn't fall over spilling all the food thankfully!... But another bump does knock the cannon out from underneath it. The squeak of it rolling out is enough to get the trio to quit their arguing. "Now look what y'all did!" I didn't do it!" "Just stop it before Rarity sees it!"

"Before I see wha--," Rarity turns from the stage just in time to see the three fillies jump on the cannon to try and keep it from rolling away. "Oh dear." Her horn lights up briefly, grabbing the cannon with her magic. "I thought we agreed no fireworks?"

"Silly Rarity, it's not fireworks." Sweetie Belle hops down and grabs the pullcord. "See?" And despite some frantic "No no no!" from Applebloom and Scootaloo, gives it a good yank.

*KWA-FWOOM* Several dozens of rolled up tie-dye (because that's the only pattern chaotic enough for the CMC to not mess up) t-shirts are sent flying into the audience.

Along with Applebloom and Scootaloo, who were still hanging onto the end of the cannon when it stopped.

Sweetie Belle blinks as she realizes she just launched her friends as well. "... Oopsie." Rarity slaps a hoof to her face in exasperation. Even if this was relatively less dangerous than she had feared.
Sanary Rondel "<<Leyanne? What's up?>>" Sanary holds her finger to one ear, partially because it looks cool and partially because it helps her hear the earpiece on the other side better. "<<Mosh... Pit? Uhh.>>" The healer looks up as she tries to figure out just what that actually means, taking note of the crowd gathering near the center. She starts towards it, rolling her shoulders on the way over.

"Alright, alright! What's going on here?" Sanary calls out in an authoritative tone as she tries slipping through to get right to the focal point of that scuffle if people give her space and strong-arming her way through if they don't. "<<I'm going in. Let's hope they're just drunk idiots and not... I dunno. Something else worse, huh?>>"
Yuna Kagurazaka The scuffle in the crowd hasn't escaped Yuna's attention either, although she fights to keep the frown off her face - she's on-stage, she should still be smiling, and Yang's performance is well worth appreciating, even if Yuna is mostly behind her at the time. She can still hear just fine, after all, and she can appreciate the lighting effects just as much.

Elner is already flitting overhead for a closer look at whatever's going on in the crowd - and the aerial view might give the robo-faerie a better perspective than the security people on the ground can see right away. In the meantime, scuffle or no scuffle, the show must go on, and there's already an energetic mostly-percussion line leading into Yuna's next planned song.

o/~    The ticket gate scrapes sleepy-eyed
The quick pace on the station platform
    A casual Monday's gloom

o/~    Lapsing back into the same as always
It's just a customary morning, but
Today's just beginning, but won't go the way I imagine

From there, the music behind the lyrics becomes much more audible, a steady 'cycle' taking up the brief interlude.

o/~    Somehow I give breath to a sigh
Idle complaints won't change a thing, but look, the door has opened!

o/~    Let's follow this landscape now that it's started to move
It reflects my own face that was dark and sullen
The sound of the bell just urges me on somewhere, but
Taking this one step forward, I proceed ahead

Unlike her first song, there's almost no gap between the chorus and the next verse; the music picked up during the chorus, but it settles back into that energetic beat as the melody is returned wholly to Yuna's lyrics.

o/~    Flowing in my headphones
Like one of my favorite songs
I want to be like I always am

o/~    I smile to think about
Somebody doing all that they can
That's the kind of grown-up I could never want to be

The backing music picks up again, sort of a 'cascading' effect underlying the second chorus.

o/~    This feeling that took off running, picking up speed
I realized freedom is the destination
Aboard this train plunging onwards, I lift my head and look straight
Gazing out the window, I proceed ahead

The bridge leading into the final half-verse and chorus is a little longer, but follows the same pattern as before - and it's not really long enough for Yuna to dance, so she just keeps singing, hoping that security can handle whatever's going on. She's not even worried for *her* sake, but if the audience is in danger ... no time to think about that.

o/~    While I carry both tears and smiles,
The rails continue ever forward, and another tomorrow can be seen

o/~    Nobody can stop this feeling that's running onwards
There are so many places that I want to go
The sound of the bell is scattering sparkles
And staking my hope in myself, I proceed ahead, ever further
Leyanne Leyanne Mace watches the commotion from her distant viewpoint, listening in over the radio carefully. <<Towards the centre... yeah you see it. I copy that, let's hope.>>
She looks up just in time to see the two ponies launched into the crowd along with a rain of T-shirts. Silently she hopes the ponies land on the kerfuffle in the middle and put a stop to it in a rain of brightly-coloured horse and T-shirts.
August Kohler As the shoving in the crowd begins to happen, August overhears his radio and silently moves over, towards the crowd, looking for a chair to stand on. "HEY, EVERYONE SIT DOWN AND KNOCK THAT OFF!" Not the most gentlest of approachs, but the redhead doesn't have a record for being gentle. He stomps on the chair to make a loud noise, though the music can likely still be heard, seeing as it's a full concert. He doesn't move for the gun. That'd be a bit overkill. "We'll have to remove you from the premises if you keep being violent."
Yang Xiao Long     Yang blinks, smiling a bit as she sees the light work in her dress. "Neat trick Tomoyo." she offers keeping quiet as Yuna takes center stage again. And that's when the blonde notices the fighting in the crowd.

Something just snaps inside of her, and she runs to the front of the stage, leaping off of it with her Aura in full Flare. "KNOCK. IT. OFF!" she bellows, an angry dragon in the middle of the brawling group. "What's the meaning of all this? Why're you all fighting?!"
Tomoyo Daidouji     Much of the audience is turning to look at what's going on, but the others are still entranced by Yuna's second song. However, Yang actually leaping from the stage certainly draws attention. As security closes in on the fight, they see that... something is being defended by a bunch of youths surrounding it. Shoulder to shoulder, facing out. They direct mocking glares at the Elites, pounding fists into palms and jeering.

And the several get knocked off their feet by flying pony, courtesy of the Party Cannon. This allows security to see what is being defended. It's D-BASE.

He offers a cheeky wink to August before muscling his way through the crowd, towards the stage, using the audience as cover. It's unclear why he's here, but it can't be good!
August Kohler As D-Base moves forward, August is still shouting to people. "I said get back!" He begins using his body to forcibly keep people back...but he appears to be getting in the way of the /rest/ of security, who is getting pushed back as he tries to deal with the problem. D-BASE would have a clear way to the stage, since August isn't dealing with him. "You all have the right to be here, so settle the hell down.!" There's a click of a tongue briefly when he notices D-BASE, but no interaction at all.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace stands up straighter, then climbs up onto her seat to get an even better view. <<I got... I'm tracking a disturbance in the crowd.>> She radios, unable to help at this range. <<Moving towards the stage. I suggest you move paralel to him rather than tail him directly, the crowd turning to see what's going on will slow you down!>>
Yang Xiao Long     Yang's eyes, once lilac and full of sentiment to her sister, turn a baleful blood red when she sees D-BASE and his group of delinquents. As he moves through the crowd, Yang follows, pushing past people. Hopefully they part for her in her current state, because if she gets a clear path she's going to straight out DECK D-BASE with her bare fist. If not, she leaps back up onto the stage and tries to block him from getting up on it. "Why are you here?"
Rebecca Chambers As soon as it's revealed who this person is, she scowls a little. "D-BASE, huh? Looks like trouble found us. This is why they assigned me here!" She reaches for her stun baton and approaches towards him, stopping a little only when August gets in his way. Regardless, she looks to him and says, "This is your only warning! Cease your actions now or you will be tazed!"
August Kohler After some heated debate over the radio, August stays blocking Rebecca (especially after she threatens to taze D-BASE), but pulling a shard of glass out of his pocket, he summons his Persona. "Persona!"

The Tin Soldier manifests, and muscles its own way through the crowd, stepping in front of the stage and D-BASE, moving to allow him to get close but not walk onto the stage. August has his own ideas of why D-BASE is here, but speaks to him. "Why are you here, D-BASE? They're already shouting to taze you, you know."
Rarity The accidental Pony Launch actually does something useful!

A moment later Scootaloo gets up, thrusting her forehooves over her head. "That was awesome!" Pause. "Applebloom, you okay?"

"Yeah. Ah had a soft landin'. Since she landed on top of one of the kids. " 'Scuse me." At least she's polite about getting off.

"Oh dear oh dear oh dear." Rarity grabs Sweetie Belle and hustles her back behind the concession stand. This certainly turned into something else fast. Even for an concert.
Yuna Kagurazaka No. No, no, no. The *one* person Yuna knows in OMNI's city-state whom she least wanted to see at the concert is here, he's headed for the stage, and he's at the center of the disturbance.

This was what Yuna was most afraid of - not merely that D-BASE would show up; if he were content to watch from the audience, that would be all right with her - but that he's involved in trouble. And Yuna already knows that he's the sort of person to cause trouble: not to make a case for something greater, but simply because he *can* wreak havoc. 'Violence *is* the message' was terribly, terribly clear, and Yuna won't make any excuses for disliking him based on that.

Yang's vacated the stage to intercept him already; Elner has instructed the Matrix of Light to gather where they can help Yuna, and Jiina, Marina, and Erina are making their way there - staying on the outskirts of the gathering rather than trying to go through anyone, or even flying (which would probably draw its own attention). For one moment, Yuna's gaze settles on D-BASE himself ...

Then she starts singing, with Elner relaying a musical cue to Tomoyo - start the music again. It wasn't the next song Yuna'd been planning on, but it's the only one to come to mind. And this time, Yuna is pointedly NOT singing to D-BASE himself - looking away from him, out over the crowd.

o/~    Uninterrupted feelings are my guidepost
From where I crouched here, I'll go to a continuing tomorrow, with you

o/~    No matter how many times I get lost when I can't read the wind's direction
The image I always go by isn't much, I think

o/~    Even though I often see days when I smile through tears,
My feelings overflow to the point of running off the map

o/~    Everything is tied together

o/~    Today's the day that's changing into the best future
Making it a place to be proud even of yesterday's tears
The pain that we shared, those dreams we discussed,
Now let's hold them closer in both hands, together

The show must go on ... but if D-BASE tries to force his way up on stage, that's going to be an interruption which Yuna *can't* ignore.
Tomoyo Daidouji     D-BASE gets to the front of the crowd, and looks like he was about to take the stage before Yang lands on it, standing in his way. August also blocks him, which leaves him looking around a shrugging helplessly. "Hey, I just had a message to give. Isn't that what this concert is about? Or is it that only the approved message is allowed?" He smirks up at Yang as Tomoyo emerges from behind her console, and tosses him a microphone. "Please leave peacefully when you're done," the tailor says.

He catches the mic with a cheery smile. "Glad to see there's some sense behind this whole affair! Right-o, my message is... thanks for the distraction." And then, at that moment, the sound of distant explosions comes from the city. Smoke arises with rolling, flickering lights as the backdrop. "That's another server farm down. Pigs were so worried about this that they let their vigilance down. The Residential District is now confirmed OMNI-free. Have a nice night everyone."

He then drops the mic, and starts to stride through the crowd, who part around him this time. No one is paying attention to the stage now.
August Kohler As soon as D-BASE starts saying his message, the Tin Soldier waits, nodding its head at him. It refuses to allow him on the stage. But when he he reveals this was all a distraction for an explosive (August suspected but didn't know), the Tin Soldier begins moving...for security, aiming to clear a path for D-BASE's escape, using the Persona as a wall. August himself moves up next to his Persona. "Get the hell out of here, D-BASE, now." August begins moving with his Persona alongside him, fleeing for an escape. He's probably damaged a lot of trust in himself with the others, but...the goal is the most important part.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace shakes her head with a soft growl. She watches D-BASE go, shaking her head in disappointment. "Some day that kid's arrogance is going to get someone killed." She mutters, though who she's talking about isn't very clear.
Yuna Kagurazaka There is an abrupt and brilliant flare of light on-stage - not an explosion, exactly, but not part of the special effects that Tomoyo had planned, either. Instead, when the light subsides (not fading *entirely*), Yuna is clad in the sleek armor of her Light Suit, already walking towards the front of the stage. "Erina, combine!" she calls out, and one of her 'doubles' - no longer passing for human but in her true, armored form - flies towards her, the purple-and-white android going translucent, then vanishing as Yuna leaps into the air with the wireframe appearing around her.

Gravity doesn't even have a chance to pull Yuna to the ground before Flight Form asserts itself, additional pieces of armor attaching to the base Light Suit and to each other; the thrusters kick in just in time, and Yuna accelerates towards the city - towards the destroyed server farm.

The last time D-BASE did something like this, Yuna wasn't anywhere near OMNI's city, and she was slightly grateful that she missed it. This time .... because of the distraction provided by the concert .... D-BASE's terrorism struck again. And if there were any lives lost because of it, gods only know what Yuna's going to do. In the meantime, she's going to investigate - if there's anyone who needs rescuing, she'll do everything she can.

And to that end, Jiina and Marina and Elner fly off after Yuna, heading to the destroyed server farm behind her.
Sanary Rondel That explains some of the commotion, then. Sanary switches gears from shoving people out of the way to slipping around them, only elbowing a few of the more stubborn sides to keep pace with D-Base and the rest of security. She doesn't move to intercept him just yet, though, instead standing further back keeping a few people's lengths between her and everyone else keeping him off the stage.

"<<Your call, Tomoyo. Just say the word and he goes down.>>" She sighs lightly as she listens to the radio discussion about him, and she hops a few times to get a better look over the crowd to see if there's any city security coming. The last thing this needs is interference from OMNI's forces, but after those explosions...

Well, it's a good thing the healer's not officially involved with any of this. As D-Base starts moving with August running security for him, Sanary starts backing up and moving parallel to the pair while keeping a finger to her ear the entire time. After several long moments, though, she slows to a stop, then crouches with her arms behind her as if waiting for someone.
Rebecca Chambers Rebecca's keeping a stern eye on D-BASE. She doesn't know what he's up to or what he wants, but if he tries anything funny, it's gonna be a real shocking experience for him! Fortunately, he doesn't seem to have any interest in causing trouble. Instead, he's just got a few words to say. Namely... that he's successfully caused a distraction and now there's explosions and all that stuff. Rebecca can only stare wide-eyed at him, then watch with horror as he walks away casually like he's some huge celebrity. The only thing stopping her from tazing him is the fact that he hasn't caused any problems directly.

But Rebecca's instincts were right, that D-BASE was up to no good. She scowls and looks down at the ground. "I can't BELIEVE this! We were so intent on watching this that we let our guard down!" But then she notices Yuna heading off to investigate, and Rebecca realizes there might be injuries. "Good thing I brought first aid!" She listens into her radio and nods, before moving to where Sanary is. "You're going to assist me? Alright." She climbs onto Sanary's back, holding on tightly. "OK, let's go!"
Sanary Rondel "Gotta admit, though. It's a smart move." Sanary actually chuckles briefly and grunts as Rebecca climbs on, making sure to get a good hold of her legs before starting to put energy into her anklets. "Hold on now. We're gonna be moving fast, so... See if you can get a line through to OMNI. Let 'em know we're on the way to help any injured." And with that, the healer's anklets activate, and the pair take to the skies!

Good news: The flight will be fairly straightforward if there's no interruptions. A little shaky, and probably a few scares, but Sanary will adjust as long as Rebecca doesn't move around too much. The bad news: Landing is going to suck.

Good thing they're both trained in healing.
Leyanne Leyanne Mace picks up her backpack and shoulders it again. She then takes a position at one of the gates, helping people who're choosing to evacuate get out safely. "ORDERLY LINE, PEOPLE!" She calls out. "Stay and enjoy the meals, everything is under control, if you are choosing to leave, please do so in an orderly manner!"
Tomoyo Daidouji     The evening could have gone better.

Some of the audience kind of flinches away from the Elites on their way out, unable to get the implication of D-BASE's words out of their mind. But others leave with the songs on their lips, humming them to themselves as a form of comfort. If nothing else, art has been planted into their hearts, and only time will tell if they allow it to bloom.

The remains of the server farm are a smouldering mess, the delicate machines buried under rubble. Thankfully, the rebels had the decency to drag any security with them on their way out. They are found tied to lamp posts nearby. D-BASE may be a scumbag, but he's not a murderer. Not yet anyway.
August Kohler A while after the incident has passed over, the primary refugee shelter for the Residential District will receive a package. It contains various (cheap) foods, as well as hand-me-down or thrift store clothing in various sizes, washed. There's a note, but it's not signed. "I'm sorry. Be safe."
