Argast Wyrdseeker     Settled within the soft expanse, a small branch of Argast Wyrdseeker's chaos warband was currently gathering their resources after an expedition. "That caravan was too easy to take. Khorne will be pleased!" called one warrior to another. Their guard was down for the moment, but that was all that was needed. From a nearby bush came a loud gunshot, which easily felled the warrior with a bullet to his shoulder. "In the name of Sigmar, you will burn, heretics!" called a Witch Hunter, clad in his classic long coat and wielding both pistol and rapier, already reloading the flintlock style pistol. Hidden under his coat, however, sat a pair of sneakily hid extra pistols.
Josuke Higashikata     See, this is the kind of thing Josuke needs a vehicle for. A dune buggy, if nothing else. Something. Because it's so hard to get to the place where guys are being hurt. So in this case, Josuke has to use force. How so? When Josuke is aware of the issue, the purple aura appears around Josuke, and the armored figure appears. Crazy Diamond crouches, putting its hand down where Josuke can hop onto it, and then literally FLINGS Josuke towards the trouble. The Witch Hunter has a bit of warning, though not much -- a loud "DOURRRRA!" as the Stand throws Josuke into the mix.
Argast Wyrdseeker     The witch hunter hears the 'DOURRRA!' and turns, only to find a strange being seemingly flying towards him. "What manner of creature are you?! Mockery of humanity!" He shouts, taking aim and firing with his pistol. Meanwhile, he shows off some impressive skill with his rapier, fencing off one of the slaneesh warriors, using speed to outclass the more 'refined' dual-swordsmanship.
Josuke Higashikata     There is one disadvantage to being flung through the air. It's that when someone shoots you, you can't really dodge. So as the skilled marksman that is the Witch hunter fires, Josuke can only manages turn in the air. This means that he only barely makes it a non-lethal shot. Instead of the heart-shot the Hunter intended, it pierces his side. He grunts, and falls out of the air, into a roll on the ground.

But Josuke's not out yet! Down maybe, but not out. Normally he'd try to talk this out, but this guy with the hat seems unwilling to. Plus, this one guy is basically decimating an entire troupe of soldiers. So there's probably not the time to do that.

Josuke rolls to his feet, hand on his side. And while the Hunter is busy 'fencing' with the Slaneesh warriors, Josuke calls Crazy Diamond again. Hopefully he's gotten close enough to punch-barrage the Hunter. Maybe after the Hunter's been dropped down a peg or two, Josuke can find out what the hell is going on...
Argast Wyrdseeker     The witch hunter is taken back by the barrage punch. "What are you, deamon?!" He calls out, pulling another pistol and taking a shot at Josuke. As for the Slaneesh warrior, he gets a trio of stabs into his arms and neck. "Nothing but heretics and monsters. Sigmar give me the strength to purge these beasts from your lands." "Damned witch hunter....Lord Argast will flay you...." The warrior says, trying his best to remain conscious.
Josuke Higashikata     Fortunately Crazy Diamond's in front of Josuke, so when the bullet is fired, it's the Stand that takes the shot. It hits the arm of the 'deamon', but the spray of blood raises from Josuke's arm, and he flinches, with a choked sound.

He's about to go after the Witch Hunter again, but he hears the weakened voice from the Slaneesh warrior. "...Dammit," Josuke mutters, and breaks off from the With Hunter, the Stand disappearing. He heads over to the downed warrior. He's stil too close to the Witch Hunter, and this is going to involve him breaking concentration on the fight, but if he doesn't, this guy's gonna die.

He pauses, kneeling next to the warrior. "<CRAZY DIAMOND!>" The Stand reappears, and thrusts a hand down at the warrior, stopping an inch or so from his face with a flat palm. An orange-gold aura appears around the Stand, as it tries to heal the warrior.

Problem is... he's totally exposed now, and more of less has his back to the Witch Hunter...
Argast Wyrdseeker     The Witch hunter smirks softly as he see's blood emerge from Josuke's arm. "Well, well....bonded together. Good to know. Now..." He started, until something strange occured. In front of Josuke and Crazy Diamond, a swirl of flame occurs. " Enough! In the name of the Changer of Fate, your time has come, Witch Hunter!" Calls a voice. From behind, the image of Argast Wyrdseeker appears, cloaked in what appears like shadows. "Now.....BURN!" He says, jumping that flame onto the hunter, who promptly starts running away, a sickly scent taking to the air.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke has his eyes closed at the moment, trying to concentrate on healing the warrior. If he doesn't concentrate, he can botch the healing, and that might actually kill the poor guy. horrible way to die, that, ending up with your intestines in your eyeballs.

So it's only the tail end of the burnination that he catches. Once he's done healing the warrior -- hopefully PROPERLY -- he looks up again, seeing the flaming Witch Hunter flee. He stands, grunting at the pull of pain in his side. He cups a hand over the bleeding injury in his arm, and waits until the coast is clear.

In the meantime, he looks at the man who just showed up in fire. Something about him man just... doesn't sit right with Josuke. But nonetheless, it was apparently HIS men that were being hurt. And the guy did attack them from ambush. And also attacked Josuke. So, well... self-defense?

Once the Witch Hunter is out of sight, Josuke asks the man who just showed up, "...What was that?"
Argast Wyrdseeker     Argast takes a breath, allowing the cloak to fade from around him. The act would look like him releasing a tighened fist from his staff, and even what appeared like a few whisps of energy leaving his gauntlet. "That...was a witch hunter. They seek out anything that does not follow their god, and put it to the flame." He says, starting to step closer. He gives off a DARK aura, yet at the same time seemed to have no ill-intent. "But you....you have saved my warriors. For that, you have my thanks.....but you are also wounded." He takes a knee, close enough for Josuke to possibly make out the etchings and arcane designs on his armor, enough to 'class' him as some kind of magic-user for sure.
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke frowns in the direction the Witch Hunter left in. "I don't understand why people do that," he says. Though Argast stepping closer gets Josuke to step back. He doesn't have Crazy Diamond manifested here, and he's a little confused. This guy feels so dark, but then he didn't seem to be malicious. At least, not immediately. It's weird. And confusing!

The mention of being wounded gets a wince, as his side twinges in reminder. "Ngh... yeah, but it's okay. It'll heal." He gives a smile that doesn't look too terribly faked. It would, and he heals pretty quickly for a person. Even if Crazy Diamond couldn't heal Josuke himself. "I'm just glad he'll pull through."
Argast Wyrdseeker     "Indeed. Since you healed my warrior, If you wish I will heal you in return." Argast says. He offers his hand, bowing his head. "Where are my manners....I am Argast Wyrdseeker, A sorceror in service to the Lord of Change. To the witch hunter's superiors, they view my patron as evil. But is fate evil, I ask?"
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke blinks. "Can you do that?" he asks. "That'd... be appreciated, if it's not too much trouble?" Because Josuke can't use Crazy Diamond to heal himself. It's at times like this when that gets to be a pain in the butt.
Argast Wyrdseeker     Argast nods, and extends his hand towards Josuke. It might feel wierd, maybe a bit wrong, but the desired effect was occuring, and Josuke's wounds would begin to close and their pain ease away. "The youth is a summoner, Lord. He called something forth to help heal Einswalt."
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke can't help but wince at that. That feels WEIRD! But he doesn't complain -- he can see that his wounds are disappearing. However, it's going to be a moment before he can answer the one who spoke. "I guess you could call it that," he agrees. "It's... not really a separate being, though. That was part of me, more or less." Which would probably explain why the Witch Hunter managed to damage Josuke when it hit the being.
Argast Wyrdseeker     Argast nods softly, but his focus was on the healing. "A rare gift, even amongst the mages of my world. Here we would call it deamomancy, the act of calling a creature into oneself, but...I am guessing that your being is of a more benevolent nature...or at least in apperance is." He says, imagining a few choice scenario's where heals can hurt. A few long minutes would pass by, and sure enough Josuke's wounds would be gone. But again, he would feel the faintest bit off, but surely it was fatigue, right?
Josuke Higashikata     Fatigue, or perhaps being healed by an external force. Josuke's never actually been healed before. So that could be it, too. His is a world mostly devoid of magic, outside of Stands, the Pillar Men, and Vampires, and all of these can be explained by biological things. Sort of. Josuke figures it'll fade eventually. "Thank you," he offers, with a respectful bow.

He does frown a little, though. "It's not a demon," he notes. Though he's still trying to be respectful. Because the guy DID just heal him. Also the guy has a bunch of scary warriors with him! "Like I said, it's part of me." A pause here, to think. "Do you have psychic powers in your world?" he asks, looking for a way to explain it better.
Argast Wyrdseeker     "Not quite. We tap what is called the 'Winds of Magic'. It is how I am able to call forth my flames and the powers of the shadows, and how I healed you." He says calmly. He uses his staff to help pick himself up, and looks to his warriors. They quickly get about to disassembling their camp, as it now seemed their location was compromised.
Josuke Higashikata     "Oh." So no help there. Well, still. It's probably understood, more or less. Not everything translates perfectly to every world, Josuke is realizing. However, when the group starts to break camp, Josuke offers, "Want some help?" They might not; maybe there's things he shouldn't be touching! However, if it's just a matter of strength, Josuke can always use Crazy Diamond. It's stronger than he is.
Argast Wyrdseeker     "We appreciate the offer, but it is best you not touch anything. We use potent poisons to keep our buildings safe, but we have immunity. We wouldn't want you to get sick." A warrior wearing an almost sickly green tinted armor says. Argast nods softly again. "It's also likely best we do not linger too long. Others may come looking for our witch hunter friend, and I'd prefer we not be around to greet them."
Josuke Higashikata     Josuke winces a little, at the mention of the poisons. "Oh. Gotcha," he agrees. Very much not a good idea to touch any of that. Since even Crazy Diamond touching it would transmit the issue to him. However, he nods to the word sof departing soon. "I should probably scram too, then." He smiles, and then bows to Argast. "Thank you for healing me, sir."
Argast Wyrdseeker     Argast nods and smiles under his helmet. "You are welcome. Be safe..." He says. Of course, wether he had an ulterior motive had yet to be seen. But he didn't do anything bad.....right?
