Emiya Shirou     Emiya Shirou has been through the wringer, that's for sure. Stabbed, stabbed, slashed, stabbed, slashed, and stabbed again. Injuries included shredded stomach and intestines, severed spine resulting in paraplegia, a nearly severed left arm... but, oddly enough? Most of that had healed, and he had not died of shock.

No, strangely enough, anyone who had bothered to check his medical examination records would've found that the wounds had stitched themselves back together, although the flesh that had regrown had transmuted itself into swords for the duration. Now that he's whole, the swordflesh has mostly withdrawn. Only a little near the worst injuries remains and it's disappearing by the hour back into normal flesh, blood, bone, and muscle.

Whatever miracle has kept him alive hasn't, however, kept him feeling too fine. "Uuuuuurgh....!"

Emiya Shirou's been confined to his room on threat of being strapped down to the bed if he tried wandering off just because he seemed well enough to walk.

Well, he's not. The report states severe disruptions in his nervous system that aren't easy to peg down due to having few specialists in his brand of magic users around, so the medical team's not taking any chances with him and seeing how he recovers normally.

So, right now, Shirou's seated on his bed in a meditative posture, breathing slowly... his face is all scrunched with focus though, like he's trying to clamp DOWN on something... or maybe he has to go to the bathroom? No, probably the former...
Ainsley     The lithe lizard woman has never, ever been on the side of the Medical process that let her read the charts before. Once Ainsley arrived to check on Shirou and see if she could do anything about his injuries, she was told that she might not even be needed. Which she ignored because she heard Shirou over the radio and he's obviously in a state that could benefit from plain old life-aligned magic.

The door opened and she ambled into the room. She had a clipboard in her hand that had the charts she was allowed access to. Eyes scanned over the descriptions of the injuries, and then finally she set it down on a table out of the way so she could approach Shirou. She pulled a chair up so she could sit down and look at him inquisitively, her hands clasped in her lap. She has never been one to react strongly to /strange/ things, just things she doesn't particularly like.

"Hello, Shirou. I'm a blood mage," she says to him, gently, "I'm told there's a kind of disruption in your nervous system, and that your body is healing in a fairly strange way. Seeing as you are a magus, I might attribute the more unexplainable parts of this to you being able to practice magic." She then reaches out with one hand, as if offering. "Blood magic is also called life magic. It is the type of arcana that helps the body heal, or the concept of living. It might ease the pain or discomfort you are feeling. Do you want me to try?"
Allyn Having been brought to the Union's medical area, most likely because the one that had rescued him mistook him for a member of the Union, Allyn is at least in stablized, but his wounds were kind of bad. A wound like something with large teeth took a chunk out of his side and a smaller one to the left side of his head. A couple of broken ribs and mainly a lot of bruises. He's sleeping rather peacefully right now it seems and has been since he was brought in, but that might change when he wakes.
Kirika     A fox enters the room, and Kirika manages to flash some credentials before a nurse urges her out despite her carrying a very obvious sword to the premeses. Relunctantly Kirika leaves the sword at the door, and she peeks inside with ears wiggling. She flashes a smile seeing Ainsley and Allyn present, recognizing them from past misadventures, and she shuffles into the room quietly.

Whether out of respect or simply not wishing to be a bother right now for the healer, Kirika remains quiet, hands clasped as she stands against the wall. Her tail swishes side to side, and she raises an eyebrow as Ainsley brings up blood magic.

That's a thing she's seen the bad side of time and again, and she's rather wary at the prospect herself, but if Ainsley can do this without too much trouble, then so be it. Judging by her description, it's not quite the kind of horrible bastardization of nature Kasun's flavor of it might be.
Emiya Shirou     Oh hey it's Ainsley again! Shirou looks up, startled out of his half-hearted 'meditation.' ... Or maybe that was something else along? His expression still seems marked with signs of an inner struggle. How often is it one sees a lizard woman? There was the earlier encounter, but it hadn't quite registered then.

The brain is kind of odd like that, isn't it?

So he blinks a few more times at her than normal. "Hrmngh," He mutters, stretching a shoulder and wincing a little. "It's probably because I pushed my Magic Circuits too hard? E-er, I'd like to feel better quickly but the shapeshifter on the other bed took a lot more injury than me..."

    Wait, what, did he?

"Blood magic for healing... the name sounds like something to stay away from, but that makes sense." He mutter-grunts. "I'd be fine if I could just get my Magic Circuits to calm down. Half my body's numb."
Allyn Allyn opens his eyes slowly as he hears voices, but doesn't move much more than that as his eyes flick abck and forth, as he looks around and tries to figure out where he is. Yeah, he remembers the fight and getting injured, but not anything after that. He hasn't really noticed anyone else as he's groggy and just awakened, but he still hurts a little.

He tries to speak "Wh." but can't get much out as he finds his mouth is dry. He swallows a couple times and tries again, "Where am I? Have I been captured?" he blinks a bit to himself and then tries to look around a little more. Well, it's a surprise anyway to find himself somewhere he doesn't know where he is, or really why he is there.
Ainsley     When Allyn is mentioned, Ainsley looks over her shoulder briefly. She only seems momentarily distracted, and looks back over to Shirou. "I am going to be blunt: Allyn's injuries are more standard and would not require my input to affect. He will heal with standard medical procedures. You, as I am told, have different circumstances. I can get to him in a moment." She pauses a moment, allowing that to sink in.

She reaches out with one hand and rests it on the side that seems to be having trouble, somewhere on his ribs. Her eyes close... If Shirou is paying attention, just her very presence might be indicative of a flood of energy, probably an equivilant to prana or whatever mages of his world use, like a being that sheds it almost constantly.

That energy focuses. She glows a faint red, and he might see little vein-like manifestations along her scales from that close. It feels soothing, a direct application of life energies that will help his body mend itself much more quickly. Once she begins, she speaks gently, "I read your chart. The way you heal is strange. It says that some of the wounds sutured themselves with... sword-like manifestations." She looks at Shirou seriously. "It is the only reason you are not dead or completely paralyzed right now." She lets out a sigh. "Don't take it as an excuse to be reckless. Not that I can change your behavior that easily, hmm? I guess it's part of why the higher-ups labelled you an Elite."

As for Kirika and Allyn, she doesn't respond to them or notice them much, more concerned with her current patient. She seems to require some level of focus to perform any sort of magic.
Emiya Shirou     "Even if you say that, I don't know--" And then there's the healing. Shirou falls silent, regarding this as calmly as he can. The energy floods into him... and Ainsley will immediately realize the reason Shirou's all jittery right now. Pushing her own power into him, well, it meets a flood of his own.

Next to Ainsley's, Shirou's power is a drop in a bucket, but it's flowing through him wildly. It's hard to make out on a simple glance, but his nerves and spirit are intertwined, energy runs along his nervous system in circuit-like patterns. It's currently running WILD. Pathways long unused were slammed open and the entire system is going haywire trying to compensate and 'recalibrate' itself...?

But the soothing energy does seem to be working. Shirou exhales slowly, and the flood of power calms somewhat.

".. it's really working." Admiration and surprise at once fill his voice as he loks up, blinking. "... I don't know any magic to heal myself or anyone else, so it's like my body isn't my body when it heals like this..."
Kirika     Kirika raises a eyebrow at Allyn for a moment, before shaking her head at the shapeshifter. "No, you were put under Union care by the looks of it given your wounds, not without good reason either." She says, before wincing at Shirou's little testimony as to how he feels. Numbness is not good under any circumstances, and she bites her lip a little while she observes Ainsley's hands.

As they glow, Kirika narrows her eyes quietly while she folds her arms. Her crimson eyes blink once as Shirou's wounds heal themselves, and she herself senses something about the both of them that definitely feels abnormal to the kitsune.

And not quite the bad kind of abnormal either, as she watches with interest as Ainsley continues to do her work.
Allyn Allyn blinks as someone speaks to him and he glances at Kirika, he knows the fox. Well, so seems like he wasn't captured by the bad guys after the attack. That is good at least. "The Union? Oh, I thought for a moment I had been captured or something after the fight." He supposes he couldn't make it back home like he usually would. "Are they that bad?"
Ainsley     The sensation of Shirou's prana pushing back against Ainsley's own attempt to heal him gets a slow blink from her. She thinks about the sensation, imagining it in her mind as an overflowing river. She may produce more than him, but he actually has the capacity to use it. By the time she finishes, she has mixed the life energies into his body effectively enough that he'd feel the comfortable warmth down to his bones. It might be a strange sensation, and not /actually/ comfortable, in that it is strictly alien to his body's normal sensations.

"I think you overexerted yourself." She looks at him with mild uncertainty. "I am not familiar with your form of magecraft, however." She lets out a puffing sigh. "Your system is going crazy. Whatever you did disrupted everything." She crosses her arms. "I think you will need to consult a mage from your world, or one of the other iterations of it. I understand you are from the same kind of world as the Heroic Spirits that are allied with us, right?"

She clicks her tongue. "Imagine a dam. It has floodgates that must open in a certain way to prevent damage to the structure, even if it might be a great deal slower. But if they are broken, it can cause a flash flood down the whole line. That is what that feels like when I heal you. You might do irreparable damage to yourself, if my guess is right, if you do something like that again. But, again, you might need someone who knows more about the way you do this."
Emiya Shirou     Indeed, Shirou appears calmed, but the bewildered expression isn't going away. This is something to adjust to, but at least his body's calming down somewhat? ... Somewhat...

Still, he's making a strange face. "The Heroic Spirits are kind of like a god or a ghost, right?" So how can they be of much use studying his own magic? Oh well, maybe they will be?

"Yeah... I pushed myself way too far. It's the only time I've ever used so much prana at once." He sighs a little. What else can he do but accept this news?

It doesn't sound like he's too dissuaded by it though.
Allyn Allyn glances around the room a little more as he lays there. Well, at least it's not too bad. He looks over to Emiya and Ainsley now. He knows Ainsley at least and recognizes the other guy from the battle, well from briefly seeing him too. "Guess i wasn't the only one that got injured then. Though did we win?" he ponders and shrugs a little, but winces at that.
Ainsley     Ainsley stares at Shirou and all at once realizes that he must be a novice mage if he has no idea what a Heroic Spirit even is, and if he has never been pushed to use his magecraft beyond what he is used to. Shaking her head, she seems to disapprove of the whole idea. "You need to find another magus. I believe, ah..." She reaches up to rub the feathers atop her head, careful with the flowers tied into them. "There is a magus by the name of Chris Rothschild in our ranks. He may be able to help you figure out how to avoid this in the future. He's also a Master, so he could help you understand what the Servants are. Alternatively, just ask one of them, they may feel inclined to explain what they are. Chris is atypical of mages of your world, though, so don't expect other mages to approach it the same way."

She stands up from her seat, turning to look over to Allyn. Her brows raise. "No, I'm afraid the Confederate Elites got away with what they came for." She walks over to where Allyn is resting, and reaches over to rest a hand on him, providing some healing magic for him as well.
Emiya Shirou     "Chris....?" Shirou repets the unfamiliar name. "Hm. So there's another Magus in the Union." He states ponderously, as if the idea is just itself kind of weird and not some big deal. "I'll see if I can get a hold of them. I'm probably not a normal magus anyways. My teacher wasn't, and I'm adopted." Not that Ainsley will know quite what that implies, but...

He suddenly flops back on the bed with another weary sigh. "Yeah. They somehow took the ENTIRE train."
Allyn Allyn blinks as Ainsley heals him some and smiles, "Thank you." he tells her and then ponders as both her and Emiya says the feds got away with the train. He frowns some and nods, "Sorry." he sighs, "Not really sure what a train is, it was that big metal thing, right? Well, there will always be another time I suppose too." as soon as he gets better anyway.
Kirika     Kirika widens her eyes. "An ENTIRE train? That's...definitely quite the accomplishment indeed." She comments lightly, then glancing to Shirou again as she rubs her chin. "There are some Masters and Servants either among us or among the Confederacy, or on their own agendas." THe kitsune adds, nodding as she remembers Lord Saber and her actions during the festival attack.

She has no idea how the magic of Shirou's world works, or that of similar worlds, so she remains quiet once more.
Allyn Allyn nods to Kirika, "Those animals that were used in the attack or the woman's slaves. She threatened me through one of them a little while back." he frowns some, "Maybe I should tell Tatsuto, maybe he can do something about it." he sighs and then nods at the mention of Chris, "Chris and Saber are good people to know I think. I met them once at a dance Mizuki hosted a little while back, though have only seen them the one time."
Emiya Shirou     Finally, now that he has time to focus, Shirou takes note of the other person in the room. "... Kitsune?" he ponders aloud, somewhat dumbly.
Kirika     "Yes." Kirika says with a shrug. "Half-kitsune to be exact, my father was human." Her tail swishes side to side before bwoing her head, "I am Kirika, daughter to Matron Shukutou Nine-Tail." She introduces with a bow of her head, "it is a pleasure to meet you at last, Shirou."
Allyn Allyn grins some and winces and sighs, "Guess I wont be getting out of here anytime soon. Well, hopefully not before too long. I have more trouble... I mean I have people to see." he ponders, and waves some to Emiya, "Allyn."
Emiya Shirou     "Emiya Shirou." The redhead replies simply. "Sorry. I wasn't quite a match for that samurai monster." It's amazing he made it through at all, given he doesn't seem to be a fighter one bit.

And he hates that weakness. How is he supposed to become a hero who can save everyone if he can't beat a samurai monster?

Then what Kirika said clicks. "N-Nine tail? Really? .... more amazing things. Really, what doesn't the Union have on their side? Nice to meet you, though I'm nothing close to that spectacular."
Ainsley     "It shouldn't take more than a couple days," Ainsley assures Allyn, smiling at him gently. She gives him a little pat on the shoulder, and then steps back over to her seat, rolling it over to where she set down the chart. She begins to write down what she did on the chart so that the doctors and nurses know what's up. She is very dutiful about her paperwork.
"I should get going. The mana should stick around until your body processes it, much like any physical medication might work. I can be back again if you need more attention." She nods at Allyn and Shirou, then stands up and prepares to leave, whistling to herself, the sound reminiscent of bird song.

She waves at Kirika as she goes, smiling in an apologetic way.
Allyn Allyn nods to Ainsley as she leaves and gives her a smile. He nods to Shirou, "That's alright, I didn't do too well against that whale myself." he sighs some and then has to chuckle a little as Shirou says he's nothing spectacular, "I'm not either, when it comes down to it, I'm just a weak human. I guess that's why I spend so little time as one."
Kirika     A nod is given to Ainsley, and Kirika seems to understand well enough. It'll take some time before Shirou's back in fighting shape again so to speak, and she only wished to see Shirou for herself first before she offered up Kinugiri for the boy to 'copy' even if for a test.

She frowns as Shirou beats himself up, before she offers him a little smile. "We all must start somewhere, Shirou, do not be so down on yourself."
Emiya Shirou     "Whew... at least my Magic Circuits have calmed down some. I really should get back to looking for home..." But every time he says something like that, a nurse is giving him an intimidating stare, so he thinks better of it.

"I'm not down on myself." He retorts warmly. "It's being realistic. I don't have much talent with magic." So clearly he's been focusing on other things, right?

except he got pummeled by the samurai, so even all that physical working out wasn't enough....
Allyn Allyn chuckles some at Shirou, "Well, at least you have a little magic. I don't have any at all. I'm just a silly human that changes forms." he snickers, "Looking for your home? Well, I hope I never find mine again."
