Kazusa Ujikane     School is out! Everyone's going home, or attending clubs, or heading for cram school, or whatever they might do on a given day.

Kazusa, meanwhile, is several worlds over, walking into the lobby of a paranormal investigations company that she happens to work for.

She's chowing down, for that matter. You just don't get good American food living in a suburb of Tokyo, and between Heaven or Hell and her time in the Union, Kazusa's kind of spoiled on that. So while she's in town for the evening, she's taken the chance to snag herself a local hot dog, with all the fixings. Nomf.
Yang Xiao Long     It's been a long while since Yang came by the Heaven or Hell tower. But as she pulls up on her motorcycle outside, it's like coming home. She kicks the stand out, takes off her helmet and sets it in the seat box, before taking the key out and slipping off of the seat and walking inside.

It doesn't take Long before she spots Kazusa and lofts a wave. "Hey Kazu, long time no see." she offers, grinning that big grin of hers.
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa is so lost in finishing her dinner that it actually takes her a second to spot Yang. The cheery voice jars her back to reality, though, and the nerdy girl's up on her feet almost immediately. "Ooh, Yang! It's Yang~! Hallo," she lilts, cheerfully heading in the taller blonde's direction. "Mmf. Man, they just don't make these that well back home. There's gotta be some way to get a real American-style place going."
Yang Xiao Long     "It takes demand, really, if noone wants it, noone'll put the effort into making it happen." replies Yang, shrugging a bit, then reaches out to ruffle the shorter girl. "So, you needed me for your card thing? What've I gotta do?"
Kazusa Ujikane     Oh! The cards! Right. "Oh! Right, the card... hang on..." Kazusa's hot dog is nearly gone, but only nearly; it takes her a second to figure out how to set it aside, before she finally just settles on 'holding it with her mouth'. Aumf. With both hands free, she can dig down into her purse, shuffle around for a moment, and come out with... a card! It's about one and a half times the width and height of a standard playing card; the back is a properly elegant and fantasy-ish design, while the face is a border around a black background, showcasing what appears to be a set of bestial teeth bared in a snarl.

"Mrff mrry-" Kazusa, no. Stop. You still have food in your mouth.

Realizing her mistake, the nerd reaches up with her once-again-free hand, takes the hot dog out, and tries again. "It's really easy. All I have to do is hold it out, and..." As she's saying it, she's doing it, holding her arm out so that the back of the card is towards Yang. For a moment or so, there's nothing, but...

...It's not really words. It's more basic than that. It's an 'impression', a very basic 'concept', the shape a thought takes before words are even put to it. A question asked at the most basic level. But if one COULD put words to it, it would be something along the lines of...

'O fearsome fury, will you lend your ferocity to this brave soul?'
Yang Xiao Long     Yang blinks at the card for a moment, at that question hanging in the air... and with a bit of a smirk, she reaches out with her Aura, the golden shimmer extending out like a hand, and presses against the back of the card. An unspoken consent. The furious, nearly unbridled energy seems to crackle with electricity as it sits manifest.
Kazusa Ujikane     Seeing this display, Kazusa's eyes go wide. "Oooh..." She looks between Yang and the card for a second or two, and then her face lights up in a beaming grin. "Thank you~!" It's at this point that she turns the card around, to reveal that the bestial teeth are fading away, replaced with a pair of very familiar gauntlets, crossed over each other. Ember Celica on the black background now. "It'll only work once, so after I use it, it'll be blank again," Kazusa explains. "...well, alright, usually when I use a card, it stays faded. When they're all faded, though, they reset and I can use them again! ...but they're blank. So it's the same thing. Kinda."
Yang Xiao Long     Yang smirks a bit, and reaches out to ruffle the nerdy girl again. "Use it well Kazu. Anyway, I think you will, after all, you're a Huntress. A Hero." the smirk softens to an actual smile. "If it works like my own ability, it might take a minute or two for it to kick into gear." she says, as a warning.
Kazusa Ujikane     Ruffled again! Kazusa can't help grinning a little. "Seriously, though, thank you." She goes to slide the card back in her purse - much easier to do one handed. While she does so, she explains, "It's a bit... The Beast is kinda different. It's like how there's always some kind of catch for powerful gifts or whatever. Whenever I use The Beast, I, uh. I go berserk, no matter what." Her voice is a little quieter for that. She's trying to be cheery, but it must not be pleasant. "I don't really remember much afterward. But I'll be alright, I guess. If you know how to use it, I'll know how to use it while I'm transformed."
Yang Xiao Long     Yang nods, "Just as long as you know." she replies, then gestures to a pair of seats. "C'mon, lets chat for a bit, been a while after all... then we could go out for a ride on Bumblebee if y'want?"
Kazusa Ujikane     The way Kazusa stops mid-bite on her hot dog and grins from ear to ear probably says about all it needs to say.

Which is probably a good thing, because "Oooh, mrrf mrr!" is not the most eloquent of responses.
