Defiant      BROCKTON BAY CBD
     EVENING

It's one of the smaller banks in Brockton Bay - not the big Central Bank, but one of the smaller ones, towards the edge of the CBD. People have already gathered in anticipation for the confrontation that's about to happen. The people of Brockton Bay aren't, by any sense of the term, stupid. However, they know the two villains well enough to know that, well, they're not much of a threat.

Armsmaster is there on time, of course, although eschewing the rest of his Protectorate team for his new Union allies. His sleek blue motorcycle is up on the curb and he stands by it, his Halberd - which is longer than he is tall - is held to rest over one shoulder. His midnight blue and silver armor obscures his appearance entirely, except for his chin and jaw and the neatly trimmed black beard there.

Uber and Leet aren't late, either, and they certainly don't disappoint.

Uber is a big guy with a sculpted physique, broad shouldered and tall, his build visible through his red and blue outfit. He holds a giant hammer in one hand. Leet is hidden away in a giant suit of armor, which resembles a colossal ape. A small camera flits around them like a little bird, recording everything, streaming it to their internet channel.

"We have come to relieve this institution of all of its coins!" Uber declares, with the voice of a movie announcer. Armsmaster barks at them to stand down immediately. They don't. Cameras flash from the distant sidewalk.
Beelzebumon      A pair of super villains announce their intentions to rob a bank, including the time and date of their heist, garenteeing that any Super Heroes around will come down upon their heads. Super punches will be thrown, neferious schemes shall be unveiled, and chaos shall be hand.

So naturally, Beelzebumon is here to make things a lot more... lively.

Standing atop a stone gargoyle overlooking the bank (because what self respecting city with super heroes /wouldn't/ have ornate stone statues on large buildings), the Demon Lord crouches, waiting for the fun to start. As he waits, he muses to himself, "Now I see why that bat dude is always doing this. Kinda makes me a badass standing up here. Maybe I should get a cape so it can billow out dramatically as I stand."

     Beat.

     "Naaaaaaaaah."

As the appointed time comes, Uber and Leet show up with perfect punctuality, along with the super heroes here to stop them, and Beelzebumon muses to himself some more, "Hmmm... well, I really could care less which side wins, but those two are looking to be a bit outnumbered, so for shits and giggles, I think I'll walk all over some capes..." He takes a moment to crack his knuckles, then calmly steps out into thin air and drops off the side of the building without so much as a blink.

Rather then splatter himself all over the sideway though, the Demon Lord instead drops onto the seat of his Daemonic Bike Behemoth and revs its engine, "Looks like we're playing super villain today Behemoth. Let's ride."
Steve Rogers He may not be as showy as Beelzebumon, but the roar of another motorcycle engine - from the opposite direction as Beelzebumon's - heralds the arrival of Captain America, fully suited up, shield braced on the handlebars; the cycle comes to a halt just as the crowd starts snapping photos of the two villains, and the red-white-and-blue superhero takes up his shield, sliding his left forearm through the straps.

He doesn't dismount JUST yet - mostly because he has a passenger who needs to let go and do so first - but his blue eyes pierce the pair of bad guys. "You know you need an account before you can withdraw money from the bank, right?"
Toph Beifong     When your fellow Unionites ask for help, you damn well better help out. And since a friend of hers is heading out, Toph Beifong decided to ask for a ride.

She kind of regrets it now.

The green and yellow clad blind girl is easily seen against the red, white and blue of Captain America's uniform, even if she's small. And sort of clinging to the rider of the bike with her small arms wrapped around his waist. Just ignore the slightly nervous look on her face as she carefully untangles herself. "I-I kinda think they don't care about that," Toph pipes up, scrambling off of the bike. Aaah, solid ground underneath her feet again! Whew.

She does notice that one of the guys do wear armor though... and she leans close to Steve, her voice low. "I could probably handle the guy in the armor. About time we used those things we practiced anyway."

The other people present doesn't escape her attention either. And she turns her head slightly towards the hero in the midnight blue and silver armor. "You're the Armsmaster?" she questions.
Xau'ra Tayuun There is no aetherytes in cities like these! So this mean Xau'ra has to improvise as he finds away by via the way of the Union and once he enters the city he actually winces a little. "..mm." He shakes off the feeling and pulls down the white hat on his head. With the sun starting to set, he doesn't need his goggles in place, so his gold eyes are quiet visible.

The black furred Miqo'te (Catboy!), runs across the ground, before leaping up on the side of a building, then flipping off to land on the top of city bus. He rides that for a moment before he leaps off, flips over to swing himself up onto of a light pole and then goes to leap over to the top of a building, at which he runs along these till he gets to the crime scene at work.

He has his bow on his backside, and his two swords scabbard at his hip. He moves with a great deal of agility and even as he gets closer, he doesn't seem at all worn out.
Ainsley     *Brrrrrrrrrr*

A pretty unassuming pink scooter of steampunk-ish design comes rolling to a stop near the scene, a lanky lizard woman sitting atop it. The crystal battery in it hums as the vehicle powers down, and she smoothly sets the kick stand so she can dismount. Ainsley removes her matching pink helmet and stuffs her goggles in a pocket in her robes. Her sky blue eyes fix on Uber and Leet, their appearances getting a look of growing confusion. She hasn't gotten too close to the action though, here purely for support reasons.

Her head turns to observe their surroundings because she is ever the visually-minded creature. She is likely to have spotted Beelzebumon, whose presence is not something she approves of. She fixes her vision on him suspiciously, issuing a warning to the others over the radio about him.
Emiya Shirou     Though a new member, Emiya SHirou has done his research over the last few days. He knows what the Union's all about. He knows what their enemies are usually up to. And he knows how the Elites usually operate.

    It's all pretty crazy.

But even though he's not able to do much, he has some ideas of how to stop such a mess from getting too bad. And so, he arrives, a litle bit late, a little bit winded, dashing down the street and towards the bank. It's easy enough to mistake him for just another civilian the way he's dressed. Totally normal clothes, no armor, and nothing more than a pipe in his hand...

The words Shirou'd been preparing catch in his throat though. The word 'superhero' comes to mind here, that's what is needed... but faced with such actual VILLAIN villains, like out of a comic book, he just kind of gapes... why is everyone just standing around like this is a movie?

    "Is this... really a robbery...?!"
Defiant      "We have our account right here!" Uber declares, hefting the hammer. He continues his announcements, going on about saving a Princess or something, but Armsmaster doesn't seem to be paying attention. "No 'the'," he snaps, brusquely, to Toph. He draws his Halberd off his shoulder and goes to advance upon the pair.

"You cannot win!" Armsmaster says, voice booming with the practiced ease of a master orator - or someone who just likes the sound of his voice. "Dragon has informed me of the 'gimmicks' I can expect to face from this particular source! You have already lost!"

So focused on Uber that he is, Armsmaster doesn't see the giant barrel that Leet chucks at him from his robot suit. Armsmaster turns at the last second, raising his Halberd, but the barrel hits with all the force of a freight train and the blue-armored Protectorate commander goes sprawling. Armsmaster punches his way free of the wreckage, lips set in a powerful frown. A clip of him getting flattened by some sort of Tinker-barrel is going to make those two a fair bit of money!

Uber mugs for the camera with an exaggerated shrug and advances towards the bank at a leisurely pace, hammer held ready.
Beelzebumon      Behemoth rumbles as Beelzebumon lines up towards the gathering of heroes and villains... but he pauses and quirks an eye.

"Wait, is their super villain schtick really to rip off that goofy Jumpman game?"

After a moment of wondering, Beelzebumon shrugs his shoulders and says, "Oh well, whatever." Then he revs Behemoth's engines up and takes his foot off the brakes as he tears towards the gathered heroes with every intent to barrel straight through their ranks.

     "HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!"
Toph Beifong     Like it matters how people are dressed. To a blind girl, appearances do not matter. It's all about attitude. Sure, Toph looks surprised at first when Shirou runs up to them, but she recognizes his voice easily enough when he speaks, turning towards him with a slight grin. "Why don't you tell me what it looks like, your tardiness?"

Right. Beelzebumon. Another potential threat to this entire operation. Though she snorts at the brusque tone from the guy who seems to take titles and names far too seriously. "Whatever," she says with a snort, all while she reaches out a small, dirty hand towards Uber... and then clenches it into a fist, reaching out to the metal in the hammer and then twists her hand, feeling the metal give in...

But then she feels the rumble, hears the incoming bike, and Toph turns her attention to the bike, steps forward with her left foot, then throws her arms out towards Beelzebumon before yanking both hands up. Right in front of the bike a ramp shoots up, intending to send him flying up and over the gathered Unionites.
Steve Rogers With Toph on her feet (and standing on the ground), Cap dismounts from his motorcycle as well - towards the side away from the direction Toph got off in - and eyes the pair of villains ... as well as the rapidly approaching Beelzebumon. "Toph, divert him!" he calls out to the earthbender as he unslings his shield and, in virtually the same motion, flings it towards the front wall of the bank.

No, he's not trying to help the villains; his throw is angled so that the shield should rebound off the wall, smack into Leet's back, rebound off the door, and bounce back against Uber's hammer ...

And if Cap got the angles right (he usually does), the shield will come flying back to his hand after, ideally, knocking the hammer off from the angle Uber had intended it to be at.
Ainsley     Ainsley's gaze remained locked on Beelzebumon while everyone performed their own acts. She spoke a calm warning over the tactical band, and carefully observed the Digimon Demon Lord with every bit of awareness that he was several times more of a threat than Uber and Leet. Once she had confirmation someone was working on that problem, she moved out of the way as best as she could, anticipating the potential trajectory of the bike should it go off the ramp as planned.

Her mouth wilted into a frown mostly because of the references being tossed around, which were ancient by her perspective. She didn't really recognize who Uber and Leet themed themselves as, which is probably for the best. Having equipped herself with her Thaumostatic Harness today in anticipation of having healing duty, she uses it to fly up to a higher vantage point where she can observe the situation at hand.

The thoughtful creature crouched there, eyes scanning. She takes in the presence of her allies. She is searching for an opening here, and making sure she's on the ball should anyone need a quick magical patch-up.
Xau'ra Tayuun When Xau'ra does arrive he lands on the top of the roof above all the action. He watches as Toph does her thing and Steve Rogers launches his shield much like a Paladin would from his own world. At the fact the two seem to have everything in hand, he mostly just watches for now.

After all, if someone tries to run off maybe he can go after them then, but really. This isn't his normal type of turf. Sure, he was a former outlaw and bandit, but most of those thefts were done in the wilderness-- and his comfort was in the wilderness.. not amongst lifeless metal and man-made stone.
Emiya Shirou     "It looks more like a movie being shot than a crime scene!" Shirou blurts somewhat stupidly at Toph. "Are they really making a show out of it? That's so stupid it's--" Oh, well, whatever.

Shirou calms himself as best he can, and others near will hear him grunt pretty heavily after he mumbles, "Trace, on."

Some might even detect a little fluctuation of magic from the young man, though really... not much.

Just in time, too, because he gets a clear view of Toph's Earthbending and the incoming Beelzebumon. "U-uwoah!"

And he scrambles OUT of the way, tumbling and rolling and getting up to his feet. Just in case that doesn't work. "... Crap, this pipe is hardly even a weapon...!" But he floods prana through it regardless, working it into all the little spaces and reinforcing it. It's just a metal pipe, but it's got the durability of something far crazier for now! Now, if only he had a plan to use it...
Defiant      Uber's hammer twists in Toph's bending grip, twisting the metal head into a wreck. Strangely enough, sparks fly from it - and Uber hurls the weapon towards the bank the moment Toph has turned her attention to Beelzebumon.

The entire front wall of the bank /implodes/ sending an immense cloud of dust into the air. The hammer shifts here and there, as if attempting to return to Uber, but then Captain America's shield splits the weapon in two and it goes nowhere. Leet's ape-mech gets a pretty mean dent in the back too, and the machine turns - hurling one of those barrels of incredible force in Captain America's direction! He screeches at Beelzebumon: "Dude! You're not part of our theme! You're stealing our thunder!" Uber might have a movie announcer voice when he wants, but Leet just sounds... whiny.

Meanwhile, Armsmaster is dealing with Uber. His Halberd hums as it cuts through the air, the heroic cape placing his blows with expert precision. Unforunately, Uber's talent - the ability to be the best at whatever he wants - makes it difficult. Uber twists here and there, bending like an expert gymnast, and even vaulting over one low swing! Armsmaster can't hit him, but Uber can't risk focusing on a different skill!

Ainsley and Xau'ra have a pretty good view of the battlefield, really. Y'know, as far as Multiversal battles go, this really is quite tame. People are still taking amateur snaps and clips, like they don't expect to be hurt. Even with super-barrels going all over the place. It really does feel like a movie, or a game.

And then Armsmaster shifts his Halberd into a flail and catches Uber on the chin with the metal weight. Blood flies but Uber just makes an incredibly proficient landing on his feet. Armsmaster cocks his head slightly, as if listening to someone, while he and Uber circle each other.
Beelzebumon      "THEN CONSIDER IT STOLEN!" yells Beelzebumon as he barrels straight towards Steve Rogers, since that shield of his practically screams 'bullseye', only to have the ramp flip up from the ground mere moments before he makes impact, "What the--"

Suddenly, he's airborne as he sails clean over the heads of both Captain America and Toph. Reacting quickly, he hops up and plants his feet into the seat of Behemoth, then vaults skywards and flips upside down as he brandishes both his shotguns.

Even as Behemot slams back to the ground and skids to a stop, the aerial Demon Lord begins to spin upside down in midair, his favored weapons belching fire and lead as he piroettes, raining hell from above before he flips back upright and lands.
Steve Rogers The shield rebounds back to Cap - right in the nick of time, too, as he spins with the catch to interpose the shield, and himself, between Toph and the Digimon's gunfire.

That leaves the barrel that just got chucked at Captain America still flying, but he spares a glance at where it is. "Three o'clock, twenty feet, ten feet up!" He stretches a leg out to tap his booted toe twice in the direction he's talking about - and hopes that Toph is fast enough with the pillar.
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra been staying on his perch. He lines up his bow as he goes to stand up. He pulls out an arrow from his quiver as he inhales a calm breath of air through his nose. His finger holds the arrow ready, until he draws the bow back. "I would ask for you to guide my arrow.." He whispers to no one really. "..but I am not even sure if your presence reaches here.. so I can only hope."

Xau'ra waits a bit long, before he releases the arrow right for Uber, hoping to either him in the back or perhaps even in the back of the knee to maybe topple the man down.

After he does fire the arrow, he goes to move to another ledge, leaping down onto a street light and easily balancing out it as if such a small piece of metal was /far/ larger then it was. His tail only twitching slightly.
Ainsley     Ainsley spots her opening, when the battlefield fluctuates in a way that she can understand. She hops from her perch and uses a series of quick bursts of electricity, trying to aim so that she isn't spotted by the camera bird. Using this very odd curving trajectory, she attempts to land on Leet's suit at a crouch. Her feet let out a soft electrical buzz as she tries to magnetize herself to the metallic suit.
Hinging this strategy entirely on the idea that the suit requires electrical components to function correctly and won't explode in dramatic fashion if she does this, she tries to place her hand on the suit's head, and then release a steady current of electricity intent on electrifying everything /but/ the occupant. A strategy to neutralize the threat Leet poses without, you know, killing him. It's much easier to control her electricity when there's no airspace between her and her target.
Toph Beifong     "CAP!" Toph cries out after the brief words exchanged on the radio. "Cover me!" It's better to make sure that one threat is neutralized, right? And since she is the one who can handle somebody in a metalsuit the best, then she better get her ass in gear! There are other people here who can handle Beelzebumom, right? At least for a moment. While she can handle several opponents at once, it is harder if they are of this caliber, that's for certain.

Especially not when they are attacking from the air. Just as Toph is about to head towards Leet, she blinks when Captain America draws close. "Cap?!" And then the rain of bullets comes. Her eyes widen, and she draws closer to the star spangled Avenger, hearing the bullets strike the shield.

At least there is something she can do when he points out a threat to them. And especially when he states it in such a precise manner. Toph immediately throws one arm out, launching an earthen spike towards the barrel to send it back where it came from! After that however, she focuses on all the metal surrounding Leet... and then she throws both hands forward before /yanking/ them back towards her, intending to drag the suit surrounding Leet towards her, hopefully toppling him. "Lemmie know when it's clear, Cap!" she calls out. Hopefully Ainsley's attack can help so they can bring Leet down quickly!
Emiya Shirou     "Kh... what is everyone just standing around? This isn't a movie theater!" Shirou gulps, then waves frantically at the crowd. "OI! Get away before it gets--" BOOOOM! There goes the bank front... "...Worse...hghk!"

Suddenly, Shirou's shot. Beelzebumon wasn't really aiming, and this proves his point. He takes a bullet through the arm, piercing skin and muscle and who knows what else. The redheaded young man staggers, teeth clenched against the pain. The wound's bleeding... but not quite as badly as one would expect.

For whatever reason though, this just redoubles Shirou's desire to clear the crowd out. "Go, you idiots! If you stand there--" You get shot, clearly. He doesn't finish that.

Because another bullet hits him, this time in the side. He hisses, grabs at the wound, but just decides... to ignore it.

Yeah. Ignore a bullet wound. Like that was ever smart.

He grabs the only thing at hand. A chunk of asphalt ripped up by Toph's earlier manuever, and stuffs it full of prana like the pipe.

A very ghetto knight build, that's for sure.

"BEELZEBUMON! You don't even have a reason to be here, right?!" With nothing else to really do, he kicks another loose chunk of asphalt at the Demon Lord and dives towards the bank. If nothing else, he'll ensure gunfire won't go towards the crowd...!
Defiant      Xau'ra's arrow strikes Uber right in the back of the knee and the big man stumbles, eyes wide. He might be the world's best escape artist at the moment, but even they couldn't dodge an arrow they were unware of. Armsmaster moves. He whirls his Halberd around his head, lashing out in quick succession - once, twice, and then he swings the haft of his Halberd against Uber's knees.

Something goes snap and the man drops, howling. "Uber is neutralised," Armsmaster reports, turning towards the sound of gunfire. It seems impossible but his frown /deepens/.

Toph deflects Leet's barrel and it makes a nice barrel-sized hole in a parked street car. What even are those things?!

It doesn't matter, because Ainsley is on top of Leet's ape suit. Even if the camera spots her, it's not like Leet is watching his own stream. Probably. Even so, the amount of electricity she channels into the suit seems to render it inoperative. And that is just in time for Toph to pull the ape-themed power armor onto its front. In a moment, a hatch on the back pops open and Leet - the man himself! - pokes his head out. He's thin and scrawny and with bad hunch in his shoulders. Seeing the situation, with his far more capable friend down, an unknown villain making trouble, and a bunch of unknown heroes in attendance...

     Leet runs for it!
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra watches the skinny man start to run, but he hears on the comm to focus on the demon lord. He looks over in that direction and then pulls out three arrows. He crouches down before he leaps up into the air, doing a flip. As he comes back around, all three arrows are lined up and he fires all three of them at once.

All of them aimed right at the Digimon.

He goes to time his landing on another light pole not far from the battle. His tail swaying slightly to help him keep his balance and not, well, fall off.
Beelzebumon      "Got some good teamwork going on there, I gotta say," Beelzebumon states as he slips one of his shotguns into the holster on his back, "Most people would be too focused on what's in front--" And just then, Beelzebumon ducks underneath the asphalt thrown his way as it sails over his head, then stands up and continues where he left off, "-- of them to both cover and direct his comrades. Bravo!"

The Demon Lord smirks as he twirls his gun around, then takes aim at the very center of Steve's head.

Only to see just beyond that the two so called super villains are pretty much out of the fight alright, with one suffering from a broken leg and the other abandoning his suit to flee for his life.

"... Huh, you know, I was kind of hoping that those guys would have lasted a bit longer than they did."

With a quick glance, Beelzebumon takes stock of the situation. Outnumbered three to one by his opponents with the only suitible distraction now hightailing it in an effort to escape, not to mention that at least two of his foes show a great deal of coordination in their attacks, and another two able to catch him in a cross fire.

Beelzebumon may be a combat junkie, but he didn't live this long by being retarded.

When Xau'ra unleashes his volley of arrows, the demon lord quickly whips around and unleashes a trio of quick shots, each aimed for one of the arrows. Then without missing a beat, he whips back around and unleashes a four shot... but not at any of the gathered heroes. Instead he aims for the wheels of Steve's bike, aiming to blow out it's tires. Then he lets out a sharp whistle and takes two striding steps before leaping onto the back of Behemoth. With a screech of tires, he whips around and takes off like a shot for the open road, hoping to make good his getaway before he gets dogpiled.

"Sorry kiddies! No bonus round for you today! Have fun with the loser brigade!"
Steve Rogers Normally, Captain America might be perfectly willing to let Beelzebumon escape without further incident.

However, the Digimon demon lord *shot at EVERYBODY* including Toph and Shirou, and while they were certainly here and willing to be part of the fight, including the risk of injury? That was still putting them in far more danger than Cap is going to simply dismiss.

The Star-Spangled Avenger unslings his shield again, winding up, and *FLINGS* it at the back of the retreating Beelzebumon's head. The shield does not have homing properties - if Beelzebumon thinks to actually *dodge* in one direction or another, it'll simply miss. If he DOESN'T dodge or duck or otherwise evade, though ... it's probably going to sting at least a bit.
Toph Beifong     Damnit, he's running away?!

Toph frowns as Leet runs off, though she doesn't make a move to pursue the guy. If he's helpless without the suit, she would feel bad for it. Besides, there's the fact that Beelzebumon is still here. And she wouldn't like letting her allies down.

So the blind girl turns, already in a defensive stance... when Beelzebumon too decides to head off. The earthbender blinks as she turns her attention slightly towards the others. "Well... I guess that's that?" Easy peasy! Though she can't help but wince slightly as Steve throws his shield. If that hits it's gonna /hurt/.
Defiant      Leet is running away and Armsmaster lowers his Halberd in his direction without actually looking at him. He must have some sort of targeting gear in his helmet, relaying the information to his weapon. What looks like a grappling hook extends from the end of his spear and it wraps around Leet's legs. The man hits the ground, hard. Perhaps harder than one should have brought someone like him down.

Armsmaster takes a moment to detach the rest of the grappling hook and tie it around Uber's legs.

Once he's sure that the camera has gotten a good look at the pair, all bound together, Armsmaster raises his Halberd, turns it so the flat end of the weapon is pointed towards the flying device, and blasts it with a quick EMP burst. It drops, sparking, and Armsmaster crushes it underfoot.

"Is the other one withdrawing?" he asks, into the radio.
Xau'ra Tayuun Xau'ra watches as the Demon Lord now runs, for a moment he was ready to leap away when he though the bullets would be fore him-- but it would seem-- they were just an escape aid. He goes to strap his bow back on his back and crouches down on the light pole. His arms resting across his legs and his tail twitches with some mild agitation.

"Cowards." He gruffs out before his ears lay back a bit. "Not even worth my arrows really." He then goes to stand back up once more before he looks down at the others, "Are you guys alright?"

He does notice that America there just flung his shield again and he can only slightly smirk. The guy would make a Paladin jealous. Seriously.
Beelzebumon      Somewhere further down the street, there comes a loud *CLANG* followed by a crash as Captain America's shield comes bouncing back. A moment later, Beelzebumon's voice can be heard in the distance, "OW! You DICK!"

After a few more moments of silence, the sound of an engine starts up once more as Beelzebumon resumes his escape... with a little less dignity than before.
Ainsley     Ainsley stands up on top of the fallen metal suit. She turns and sees Leet running off in a direction, and frowns in the mildest way she possibly can. Not because the battle was easy, but because the man is just running away. She watches the man running off, and then hit the floor abruptly when Armsmaster catches him. A light smile appears on her face after that.

    "Wrecked."

She turns to step off the metal suit gingerly, and then seeks out Shirou with a singleminded and dutiful gait. Once near him, she would reach out with one hand to make sure that he does not have a bullet lodged in him anywhere. Once she does that -- removing the bullet with a magnetic spell if it's there, which wouldn't feel nice -- she would cast a soothing aura of red energy over his arm, speeding his healing process, if he allows.

"Fights between Elites can sometimes be a spectacle," she tells him, softly, "It is very strange when you can see it from an outside perspective like you do. I have always dealt with a wide variety of fantastical challenges, so I was less shocked when it came to this."
She glances over her shoulder. And then back over to Shirou. "You will grow accustomed to it over time. The Multiverse is a very big place and I find it is better to embrace the oddities than let them trip me up." She smiles at him in the sweetest, wisest way that she thinks is appropriate.
Steve Rogers That's all the point he needed to make, so Cap jogs over to collect his shield from where it landed; it probably didn't have enough momentum to fly all the way back to him after the impact.

"I'm all right," he calls out to Xau'ra, "but check Toph and -" He pauses, looking over at Shirou; Ainsley's already seeing to him.

"- and the bystanders," he finishes.
Ainsley     "Ahh," Ainsley is distracted, looking over toward Steve. She calls over to him, her voice taking a Spanish accent to it when she has to shout over to someone, "I will handle stabilizing anyone that got caught in the crossfire. Point me to the serious cases first." It appears she has some concept of prioritizing or triage.
Emiya Shirou     Even if Shirou has no real desire to see even this asshole hurt for no reason, he can't help but admire what Steve Rogers just did. ".. Nice throw!" Consider Shirou impressed, even if his arm and side are both bloodied. A fact that finally catches up on him as Ainsley approaches. "Hrgh?" He DOES have bullets lodged in him, but they've already been halfway pushed out when she finishes the yank?

"H-healing magic?" Funny enough, his wounds already began the process of healing. Somehow or another. But ainsley's efforts quickly seal them up, leaving him gasping in relief.

Shirou, though, seems oblivions to this fact. "Hey now, this kind of thing can't be happening every day. Nobody would run a bank if it did!" Shirou retorts lightly, trying to not think too hard on the ills of the Multiverse for just a bit. "Thanks. Man, I can't stack up at all..."
Toph Beifong     "I'm fine!" Toph calls out when she overhears Steve talking to Xau'ra. Why, she even holds out her arms just so they can see that she is unharmed. Though she doesn't seem too concerned with fixing the street after her and bending the ramp and earthen spike down into the concrete again...

"So that's it, Army?" she asks in Armsmaster's direction, resting her hands on her hips. Seems things are under control...
Defiant      "It happens every day," Armsmaster says, as some local law enforcement sees to Uber and Leet. They'll be getting a hefty fine, maybe some minor jail time, but they won't be going to the Birdcage. Yet. He crosses his arms, Halberd propped inside of his arms to rest against his shoulder - posing for the cameras.

"We can handle it from here," he says. "You can go."

What a world. Even after all this, the general consensus of the few remaining bystanders who didn't scatter in the wake of the gunfire is how awesome that all was and did you see all those new heroes? Who were those guys and girls?

Sure, it might've only been Uber and Leet, but it seems the men and women of the Union - and the unknown biker from Hell - have made quite the impression on Brockton Bay!
