Kotone Shiomi A few minutes before midnight, and one overworked cop on a motorcycle is chasing down a suspect believed to be the man behind several thefts of valuable possessions belonging to victims of the Apathy Syndrome, abusing their state of mental fog rob them blind. Unfortunately, the chase is leading towards Paulawnia Mall, where the dutiful police officer fears he will lose the suspect in the crowds, a major pop idol was holding a concert in Club Escapade that ended recently, thus making the place busy.

He requests backup through his police radio, wholly unaware of the fact that through sheer coincidence, the police frequency is set to match an emergency broadcast frequency commonly used in this general part of the Multiverse.

Paulawnia Mall is a modestly sized mall with most stores and business facing a central plaza with a fountain at the heart of it. When the responders arrive, a few moments before midnight, it is indeed fairly busy for the time of night, and the culprit cannot be immediately seen.
Kirika     In all honesty, Kirika has no idea if this world is too comfortable with strange red-eyed women toting katanas running around like they're Batman, which is why she's going the stealthy route with this. She's glamored up to hide her red eyes and foxy features, and her sword's disguised as an umbrella for the time being as she runs from roof to roof nimbly, before she nears her destination.

Heading toward the mall, she keeps a low profile as she goes for the roof, approaching a skylight. Quietly, Kirika tries to nudge the thing open before she slips in, and makes her path toward the courtyard.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna had been finishing up a live appearance when the emergency call went out; Elner picked up on it, and as soon as Yuna had finished changing out of her stage costume, the robo-faerie helped her navigate to Tatsumi Port Island.

Yuna's not exactly in 'civilian' clothes, though, at least not in a very technical sense. It's a good chance to test how well she can move around in the uniform that Tomoyo had just made for her, particularly testing out the boots - and she's able to sprint fairly well, it seems like. "Which way, Elner?" Yuna asks her miniscule companion as they reach a corner.

"If I'm analyzing the buildings right," Elner replies, "that way. We're not the only Multiversal Elites here, either."

"Good to know," Yuna says with a wry smile before rounding the corner and trotting off in the direction Elner indicated. The robo-faerie continues to accompany her, although picking up altitude in the process - an aerial perspective has helped Yuna on more than one occasion.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is not clad in her stealth suit that would get serious questions aske so she's in what she more commonly wears about the multivese she might just get seen as strange or maybe someone on their way to a convention of somesort at wors or so she hopes. She's comming in by motorcyle thouh nd it doesn't take long for her to arrive she'll bring it to a halt turn off the lights and pull the jack out of the back her neck letting it slip away back into it's storage housing and get off she takea momnt to look out into the night.

"Now where would this perp be?"

She looks around concerned but also taking in anything in that might be odd. Such as the arrival of other elites.
Rebecca Chambers Some might wonder what the word 'S.T.A.R.S.' stands for, and some might wonder why they're sending a young girl who looks like she'd be more fitted as a military paramedic to investigate. Nevertheless, Rebecca's on her way to the scene on foot, as the warpgate she came through let her off a bit off from where the shopping place actually is. Hopefully, people will recognize that she's law enforcement technically (she was a member of the Raccoon Police Department after all,) and let her through.

Upon arriving at the mall, Rebecca looks at how crowded it is and she sighs a little before walking towards the mall entrance. She's hoping that she won't stand out too much with her unique attire, and even if she does, she's known to ignore people who stare at her green-and-white attire. "It's all about catching the perpetrator," Rebecca mutters to herself.
Janine Liberi     Janine is here too for reasons. Small island towns like this usually have yummy treats to draw in tourists, so she had been scoping it out when the call got the wires crossed. "Aw, son of a bitch..." she groans when she realizes the chase is leading here.

It's really none of her business. But she's got her sword in a sports bag and everything. She could maybe do something about it... ugh. /Effort./

And so off she goes, heading towards the entrance the thief was racing towards and doing as little as possible to look around.
Kotone Shiomi Multiple things to draw people's eyes, but they only have a few moments to look before the clock ticks to midnight. And then... things change. Within a few moments, not only has seemingly everyone local to the area been replaced by an obsidian coffin that stands upright... the water of the fountain has turned to blood, and the night sky has turned an unpleasant shade of green.

At the heart of the sky is the crescent moon, huge and overbearing, far larger than it was mere moments ago, and it glows not in the familiar yellowish white but in a toxic green. Between it all, the clocks in one of the stores have all stopped at exactly midnight, and not a single piece of local technoogy seems to be functioning.

And then there's the overbearing sense that this phenonemon is Wrong.
Kirika     TICK...TICK...TICK.

    TICK.

Kirika glances at the sky, then to the clock. She narrows her eyes as she makes her way to the courtyard slowly. "...hnnn." She looks around, noting the arrival of fellow Elites as her glamor dissipates, knowing hiding her identity with them is useless. Her nose crinkles, and she sniffs. "Blood." She says simply, looking to the fountain as her ears and tail stiffen, and she grips her 'umbrella' tight as it ditches its glamor.
Rebecca Chambers As Rebecca is looking around, she suddenly stops as if she gets the sensation that something isn't right. "Hey, what's happening?" As things begin to change around her, she glances at her watch as if via some kind of unexpected instinct, and does a double take as she sees the time is midnight. It's almost like it's some kind of bizarre coincidence that this is happening. "This can't be for real. Wake up, Rebecca!" She slaps herself a couple times to try to wake herself up, but she then realizes she's awake and that this is really happening. The familiar scent of blood (between being a field medic and having to deal with bloodthirsty monsters, she knows it quite well) hits her nose, and as she tries to follow her nose, she sees that it's coming from the fountains...?!

Usually, Rebecca wouldn't be that surprised, but for some reason something's causing her to feel extremely nervous. Thinking quickly, she reaches for her Beretta and slaps a clip into it. After that, she slowly begins to look around, trying to find a sign of someone else who might be on her side. "Is... someone else here? If so... please... please identify yourself..."
Janine Liberi     "What the shit?!" Janine exclaims, flinching away from someone as they suddenly turn into a coffin. She looks around at the twisted reflection of the mall. The blood fountain, the radioactive green moon. "I can't escape this shit. I'm just looking for candy and I wander into this bullshit. Fuck my life."

And then she notices. Not everyone is a coffin. Some are, in fact, foxwomen sniffing at the fountain. Her bag is dropped to the ground so that she may open it and extract her sword from it with one hand. With that done, she marches up to the fountain as well, to confront Kirika.

"Hey, you! What do you know about all this?!" she demands, gesturing around with her sabre at... well, everything.
Yuna Kagurazaka Midnight arrives, and the city is transformed around them ...

Yuna was actually looking right at a cluster of people when they suddenly became coffins, and she swallows hard. "Elner, check them -" she manages to get out before her throat seems to close up, but the robo-faerie flits over to examine the coffins.

"They're not dead, at least," Elner reports. "And this phenomenon isn't affecting us, or the other Elites on site. Still, it may be a good idea to transform?"

"Might be jumping the gun just a little," Yuna murmurs, "but ... yeah." With that, a swirl of light and wind rises around her, briefly ruffling her uniform's skirt before the skirt stops being there, replaced - along with the rest of the outfit - by the more-familiar armor and cloth of her Light Suit.

Now garbed for a potential fight, Yuna continues onwards towards the mall, letting Elner guide her to where the others are clustering - assuming everyone is headed for the same general location. Ironically, this 'phenomenon' - whatever it really is - makes it a LOT easier for Elner to track Elites ... because everyone who's *not* an Elite is currently in a coffin.

"I'm here, Rebecca," she calls out as she hears Chambers's uneasy call. "Not sure who else is here with us, but at least you and I aren't totally alone ere, right?" Spotting Janine and Kirika, Yuna waves to them as well, calling out, "Got any idea what we're dealing with yet? Even any guesses?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is used to being up pretty late so that doens't bother her but something isn't right while she has no supernatural powers of her own she has experiance encountering such and her HUD clock just /stops/ time isn't ticking yet she's aware she looks around at the strang effect covering the region. Kotone s on edge very on edge now as she moves forward she does no reacyh for her gun just yet, but she sees a few things are going on. Eveyrone local has been replaced by some kind of Coffin. She pauses for a moment to scan one but now she takes a step and she sees tht Chamber has found Yuna.

"Yuna...?"

Shr then looks around for a moment.

"I have no idea what's going on here but be on your guard."
August Kohler As Kirika approached the fountain, she'd notice it first, but as others approach, it'd become far more noticeable. The blood in the fountain begins rippling, moving in a circle around it quickly, in jagged lines. Eventually, the ripples stop at the opposite end for a short moment. And then, they practically explode. It rises, far too big to have possibly been submerged in that fountain, but was nonetheless. It's body is black and ink-like, a blob, and in a protrusion that appears to be shaped like a head, it wears an indigo mask. Two arms, with large hands containing sharp fingers. As the creature rises, it climbs the fountain, reaching the top of it before looking down upon the Elites present. And then, it changes.

The creature's torso expands, making it about seven feet tall, and appearing slug-like with how it's lower body works. Those two arms extend, freakishly long, and those hands are positively massive. It's fingers stretch out, as sharp as blades, as it's neck stretches out, watching those around the fountain.

It sits there for but a moment, before those long arms reach down, each one moving to claw at one of the two people directly next to the fountain: Kirika and Janine. The strikes are sharp and painful, and despite the odd composition of the creature, the arms are solid. It's a hostile, inhuman creature, that feels nothing but angers. And all it wants to do is kill you.
Kotone Shiomi And right after the Shadow arrives, a girl in a school uniform comes out of an alley.A big hockey stick bag on her back, and a red armband marked S.E.E.S. wrapped around her upper left arm. The girl sees the shadow, and the strangers, and she briefly hesitates. Without doubt, the brunette's face betrays nerves, and uncertainty, perhaps even a hint of fear.

And so, a metal object, a handgun by the looks of it, is drawn out of a side pocket on that hockey bag, and with trembling hands she raises it to her temple, she takes a few brief uncertain breaths, and then having steeled herself for what she's about to do, she pulls the trigger.

    "PERSONA!"

Energy flows out of this gun-like object, focesed and strengthened by her own potential, and soon this m,aterializes into a metal figure. White limbs, golden torso, red scarf and flowing, long red hair. On its, back this persona, Orpheus, carries large, heart-shaped harp.

A moment after, the girl unzips her bag, and what comes out is no hockey stick, though it is a long stick with a curved bit at the end. The naginata however, is substantially more deadly than a hockey stick. She points the weapon at the shadow, and her persona flings summoned fire at it.
Kirika     Kirika is pretty damn close to the fountain, and she glances to Yuna first. "All I noticed is this occurred the moment it struck midnight." She says, shrugging before she's accosted by an admittedly pretty rude girl. Cocking an eyebrow, Kirika regards Janine with admirable restraint. "Only that this is tied to strike of midnight, as I said." She says calmly to the strange woman with a bum arm and a sword.

Of course, there's no time for bickering or accusing people of things, as suddenly a MONSTER appears from the fountain! Kirika jumps into action as she draws her katana, barking out "Get back!" to Janine moments before she's struck directly by the monster's claw. Her stomach is struck by the claw, and she suffers a pretty deep cut as she grunts in pain and clutches her stomach. Her body will heal quickly, and Kirika focuses on retaliation as she lunges forward to slash at the Shadow Boss, her blade blazing with holy flames.

No time to question the girl who just shot herself, as suddenly PERSONAS! She's...vaguely heard of these, but this is not what she's used to. Do the Reisendide crowd do this? Hard to tell, but right now a monster needs to be slain.
Yuna Kagurazaka "Look out!!" Yuna calls out - not quite fast enough, as Kirika's already injured by the time Yuna's shoult can reach her. The shout of 'Persona' from another arrival draws a brief glance at Kotone Shiomi; *she* recognizes the invocation, although not the form it takes. (Yuna didn't even see the handgun before it was 'used,' or she might have freaked out a bit at that.)

So there's one more ally on the field than Yuna thought there would be. All the better, in her opinion - but that monster, that Shadow, is still a danger to Kirika and Janine, and potentially to everyone else here. Yuna keeps her distance for now, but the Matrix Divider materializes in her hands and she fires off a blast at the Shadow, just aiming at the center of mass for now. Her *first* thought was to try to take its arm off - but she doesn't trust her aim quite that much at this distance.
Rebecca Chambers As soon as Yuna speaks up, Rebecca moves towards her, lowering her gun just a little. "Oh, thank heavens you're here. I have no idea what's going on, but something's really wrong, I can sense it!" She grits her teeth a little, getting the sense that something else isn't right here either. And then when she glances at that fountain, her eyes go wide as something that looks like a Bio-Organic Weapon inspired by a nightmare someone had comes out of the fountain. Her jaw hangs open as it begins to take form, and then she begins to breathe rapidly for a moment, before shaking her head. "No, I can't get scared now! I have to help out!"

Then Rebecca glances over and notices that brunette appear and proceed to aim a gun at her head...?! Before Rebecca can speak, a bizarre phenomenon occurs, and then Rebecca realizes that the girl is summoning her Persona. Rebecca herself isn't too familiar with how they work, but she's read up some bits on them and she has a general idea of what they are.

"Looks like we've got another ally here!" Rebecca calls out to those who might be working alongside her. "Now let's take this thing down!" She opens fire with her Beretta, firing off a pair of shots at the monster.
Janine Liberi     And then the fountain explodes because of course it does. Janine stares at the horrific slug that crawls from the blood, slowly edging away, a shuffle that becomes a sprint as Kirka barks at her to run. The tip of the claw tears open the back of her dress, but she escapes harm.

And then some girl shows up, shoots herself and... summons a Persona?!

"I. Can't. Escape. This is a fucking Shadow and there's a Persona user and I CAN'T ESCAPE THIS HORSESHIT FOR ONE SECOND! PERSONA!" Janine snarls as she looks into the polished flat of her blade, shimmering with blue as a woman in a red dress with a bandaged face and bloody stumps for hands emerges from her form.

She points her sword at the Shadow and a powerful gust of wind kicks up to try and knock it from its perch!
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa sees a Shadow like creature but she ahs no idea what it is, she does not assume anything at all here then she sees a girl in a school uniform but she hears the words persona as she seees her pull a gun. She /stares/ in horror as it looks like the girl's shooting herself but she doesn't die, no something else happens a persona is indeed summoned and it's setting things on fire. She fgrunts for a moment and look to eveyrone else.

"Chambers lets move!"

She pulls out a pistol and will add fire from it to everyone else's attacks, she didn't bring her heavy weaposn it might have been a mistake to ... not do so.
August Kohler The Shadow does not care that Janine is escaping. As Kirika takes the blows, it just continues to claw into her, her own strike stabbing through its body, burning it and causing it to writhe. It pushes back with its hands, moving to throw her backwards. However, the Arrogant Maya's attention moves as the others begin attacking it. Kotone Shiomi's Persona causes it to react, that long neck moving to face its head towards her as fire flies forward, impacting against its mask and causing it to pull back in pain. Bullets rain out from two sources, Rebecca Chambers' and Kotone Yamakawa's gunplay causing it to almost fall off the fountain. Yuna's attack, meanwhile, flies straight through its torso, making a hole and causing the creature to practically wail out in pain, a horrifying inhuman noise.

And then, Janine fires off a gust of wind from her own Persona. The Shadow attempts to brace, but is blown backwards, narrowly missing taking part of the fountain off in its clutch. It skids several feet, lying prone before those arms stretch back out, grabbing hold of the fountain and slingshotting the Arrogant Maya forward. The massive monster lands in the middle of the group, arms stretching out as if it was a clock. And then, they start flailing, wildly, attempting to hit everything around it with furious swipes of those fingers.
Kotone Shiomi So focused was she on dealing with the immediate problem that the local Persona user did not realize that there were others here, and the methods of fighting come as a surprise to her. "Others...?" She seems to have been expecting to be taking care of this alone, but the surprise fades and she smiles, "Let's do our best, everyone!" She encourages.

And then she gets swiped. Sure, she uses her Naginata to block it, but that's a big shadow and even through that block she's thrown back into the wall. It takes her a few moments to recover from that, it's clear that she's inexperienced at it all, and relying on her Persona to help her out. Nonetheless, Orpheus guides her strength, and she jumps forwards, an inelegant and instinctual, but powerful strike with her Naginata is aimed straight for the Shadow's mask.
Kirika     Bleeding through her clothes, Kirika grumbles as she tries to redouble her efforts. Her sword slashes shallowly at the Arrogant Maya's hands, but she's knocked back a good distance, slamming into a kiosk and smashing it with high speed. She grunts, forcing herself back to her feet as her hand blazes with fire. The fireball from her fist is tossed like a grenade, aiming to pelt the Shadow in the chest directly.
Janine Liberi     "Take that, ya bitch!" Janine barks as Maya topples from it's perch, only to slingshot itself in the middle of them all and flail wildly. Her sword comes up to try and deflect a claw, but the force behind it is too much. She is smacked away, sliding on her back to aggravate the cut in her clothes.

"Oh, you're fucking feisty aren't you? All right, let's get you feeling as miserable as me. Gonna teach this prick some empathy. BIANCABELLA!" Her Persona rises up one more and begins to dance. Blood sprays from those stumps, turning into wilted rose petals midflight and swirling lazily around the Shadow. The bitter stench of rot fills the air as debuffs attempt to pile on, making it a little more languid.

    "Get it now!"
Rebecca Chambers Rebecca is hit and goes tumbling across the area, but somehow recovers and skids to a halt on her feet. There's a hint of blood underneath her shirt, but other than that she seems no worse for the wear than before. "That was unexpected. Looks like I need to step up my game a little bit!" She checks her Beretta to make sure it's still OK, before attempting to go after Maya again.

When Janine calls out to get it Rebecca instinctively replies with, "Copy!" Before opening fire on the creature again.
Yuna Kagurazaka "Aagh!!" Yuna yelps as she gets smashed away by the Shadow, slamming into a pillar at the edge of the courtyard; her Light Suit flares twice - once from the initial impact, once from the 'landing' - but the flares subside again, the battlesuit remaining intact.

Yuna takes a moment to recover, shaking her head to clear it, then closes in again, building up power in the Matrix Divider as she goes. She's being more careful about how she closes in, and sizing up the Arrogant Maya's attacks and patterns as best she can. She'd *like* to get into melee range before launching her next attack - but that might be more dangerous than it's worth ...
Kotone Yamakawa The shadow doesn't seem to care about who is running or ot. Kotone's pulls her pistol back as she makes to fire another shot at it. She sees it lets out cry of pain and tht makes her cringe a bit the sound. The sound of the thing has her wondering. She moves leaping to one side trying to keep out of mele range witht his thing. It's now moving to attck and she fails to get clear entirely she's hit several time and there's the sound of not flesh geting hit but almost metal? It sounds close to it. Kotone rallies and she fires again, several controlles shots as she tries to get some distance again.

"Damn it Anyone got any ideas about how to take this thing down?"
August Kohler The Shadow is noticeably worn down; it's strong, but not invincible. Kirika's fireball bursts through its chest, enlarging the already present hole and causing the Arrogant Maya to shake in pain, flailing in her direction. Janine's debuff aids the damage, causing the creature to droop, weakened. More bullets roar out, now putting their own holes in the creature, small ones littering its body. As Yuna moves to fire again, the Arrogant Maya moves to block it with a hand...but that hand is torn straight off, disintegrating into a black goop before it impacts against the ground. The creature is about to lunge at her with its remaining claw, moving to strike at her head...

When Kotone Shiomi's naginata impacts against the Arrogant Maya's mask, and for a moment, it feels like time has stopped. The mask shatters into two from the blow, causing the Shadow to scream a terrible scream, a death cry so loud that it could be heard out in the distance. But the creature does not drop, not yet. In its final moments, it raises that hand upwards, and moves to smash everyone to the ground, into a mighty pulp, as its body slowly starts to rot and fade away. Time to finish this!
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna actually cringes some at the scream, but as the Arrogant Maya lifts that hand, she gives up on trying to close in for melee and just fires a single blast, unleashing the focused power in one shot and trying to either fend off that last swing, or maybe take the hand off entirely before it can descend. She'll be good with either.

And then she just lets the Matrix Divider disappear as she yells, "SHUGOSEIHEKI!!" and summons her kite shield. raising it and bracing herself. "Behind me, everyone!" she calls out - although there may not be enough time for everyone *to* get behind her. And, well ...

Depending on how hard the Arrogant Maya hits? That might just get everyone in the same area for easier smashing. Either way, she's going to TRY to tank it as best she can, and she's willing to take the punishment so her less-protected allies don't have to.

(There's also nothing to force anyone to take cover behind her, admittedly.)
Kotone Shiomi "Now is our chance for an all-out attack!" The local girl suggests, perhaps even commands depending on how one chooses to interpret that tone that betrays at the same time a desire to appear confident and a lack of it. This is nerve wracking for her, but she does her best, and so she follows up on her own suggestion, moving in once more to strike with her Naginata.

This time, her Persona comes with her, the mechanical-looking creature lifts the harp from its back and gripping the heart-shaped instruments by the tip, then bringing it down with force, trying to smash the weakened Maya before it can pull of that one last attack.
Kirika     Kirika takes the local's advice, wisely enough. "Right!" She nods, before she brandishes her katana and charges. Running in full sprint, the kitsune's frighteningly fast as she runs into swording range, her blade roaring with flame as she leaps at the Shadow and cuts DEEP this time, aiming to take off a limb and more as she cuts into the creature.
Rebecca Chambers The scream is quite loud and annoying, but Rebecca grits her teeth through the annoying cacophony and realizes that this is the time to launch her final attack... or something like that. She loads a fresh clip into her Beretta then proceeds to rush in and open fire from close range, attempting to take it out with some close quarters fire!
Janine Liberi     "All out attack?" Janine shouts over the death scream as she gets back to her feet. "Fine by me! FUCK 'EM UP BIANCABELLA!" The Persona arises once more, winds swirling about her form as she bombards the dying Shadow with the mightiest gusts she can muster!
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is now eeing the Shadow is weakend and it might be almost redy to bring it down once and for all. But she doe snot know if things end up. She'll make sure it's dead before she lowers her pistol. She holsters it and joins int he melee with her fist using her full cyborg strenght to hit the thing with and try to pound it into the ground as hard as she can. She seems to be pretty intend on taking it out. she doesn't hve much up close skill but she's gtot a lot of power behind her blows.
August Kohler With Shiomi's cry, everyone attacks in unison, and their strikes slam against the Arrogant Maya, even as he attempts to kill them in his final moments. Yuna Kagurazaka takes his strikes for herself, shooting shots of energy into him. Orpheus slams into it with her strikes. Rebecca Chambers offloads her clip into the Shadow. Janine cuts through it with wind, gusts smashing into it. Kotone's own shots join it, filling it with even more holes. And finally, Kirika cuts off that last arm, causing the attacks to cease. With one last cry, the Shadow disintegrates into nothing.

It's over. You've killed the Arrogant Maya.
Kotone Shiomi And soon after, so does Orpheus. The girl takes a good look around, to make sure there's nothing more, and then she puts the Naginata and gun-like object back in the back. She smiles at the others, "Uhh. Thanks for helping me, I don't know if I could've done that alone. I'm Kotone Shiomi. You guys seem like you know what you're doing, but I'd never heard of people like you before." She idly tugs at the red armband, perhaps trying to consider something to do with it. "Have you guys been out in the Dark Hour a lot?"
Rebecca Chambers Once the monster is dealt with, Rebecca holsters her Beretta then looks to the girl. "I'm Rebecca Chambers, and to be honest, I've never even heard of the Dark Hour before. It's all kind of new to me honestly." She frowns a little. "Although this has opened my eyes to a potential new threat."
Kirika     "Kirika." The kitsune says, nodding as the Shadow falls and dies. Sheathing her sword, she bows her head deeply to Kotone, the new Kotone, and shakes her head. "We only just arrived when the world began to shift, and then you appeared. What is this Dark Hour you speak of?" She asks, cocking an eyebrow curiously as she glances between Shiomi and Janine.
Yuna Kagurazaka "I don't think I've been caught up in something like this before, but I've fought monsters similar to this one," Yuna answers, letting her kite shield disappear. "My name's Yuna Kagurazaka ... uh, it might help to know that none of us are actually from around here. Just putting that out there." She smiles, somewhat sheepishly, but still in an open and friendly manner.
Janine Liberi     Janine tugs at her torn clothes with a groan. "Right. Since everyone is coffins, I'm gonna help myself to a new dress. Services rendered for this shit." She looks at Kirika and snorts. "Haven't a clue. She might have the same thing I do, but I'm not from here. We deal with similar stuff though." She gives Kotone a long, hard look before putting her sword down. "Janine Liberi. Die Reisende. We fight Shadows, badly."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks to Kotone Shiomi for a listening ot hert then grinning a little bit at her. "Kotone Yamakawa, I'm with an group called the Paladins." She's speaking Japanese but she's got an bit of an odd accent. She looks to everyone else for a moment. "I have had encountred with things akin to that thing before. I work on and off with the Die Reisende as well. That was some pretty good fighting on your part and everyone's else. What was that thing? It looked somewhat like something I have seen before." Assuming things in the multivrse is dangerous after all.
Kirika     Kirika glances at her now ruined suit jacket, and sighs. "I may require a tailor myself, this is not practical clothing for fighting demons." She grumbles sourly for a moment, before she glances to Janine again. "I know I have heard the name Die Reisende before, at least in passing." She muses, tilting her head. "It seems we specialize in similar fields, I suppose it is only right that i offer my allegiance for further incidents such as this." She says to the Italian after a moment.
Janine Liberi     Janine looks at Kirka sceptically before sighing. "You can't be any worse than some of the assholes we have hanging around. I'll throw you a link I guess."
Kirika     "That is all I ask for." Kirika says, nodding stoically. She isn't too sure she can make an opinion of someone she just met, but at least Janine's ballsy in a fight. That seems to be a running theme with the Elites she's met in her time.
Kotone Shiomi "I'm part of the Special Extracurricular Extermination Squad. We're a school club, kinda, of Persona Users and we're trying to investigate the Dark Hour, which involves fighting Shadows." Shiomi tells more of herself as a segway into explaining what the Dark Hour is, glancing up at the green night sky and the unmoving, massive crescent. "Every night, at midnight, for about an hour. This happens. To most people, it doesn't seem to happen at all. They just get stuck in a coffin for an hour and don't realize that ever happened. They'll be fine, the coffins are extremely tough."

She pauses for a moment, and then adds, "Can't say the same for people who got attacked by a shadow, though. They aren't fine." She shakes her head, trying to dismiss the thought. "So anyway. I should probably head back to my dormitory, maybe you can explain more on the way there? They're probably getting worried by now."
Yuna Kagurazaka "A 'school club' ... probably not an official one, I'm guessing?" Yuna asks, still with that friendly smile. Less sheepish now, though. "I'd love to meet some of your allies here, if it's not too much trouble - but I'm not sure if I can stick around and do that tonight. I'm actually a student too - call it a form of college, I guess - and I have classes tomorrow ..."

She looks wistful for a moment, then bows politely to Kotone. "But in any case, it's really good to meet you! I hope we have the chance to meet up sometime when things are less dire."
Kirika     "That sounds like the kind of thing Beacon Academy would organize, myself." Kirika muses quietly. "We might need to leave soon then, before this hour passes by." She says, then opts to take her own advice as she bows once more. "You all fought well, tonight. Hopefully we'll meet again under better circumstances." SHe says, before the fox lady takes off.
