Xiaomu It's no longer merely 'evening' in Tokyo-52605; the sun has gone down, natural light replaced by artificial as street lamps and neon signs flick on across the city. In some wards, such as Shibuya or Harajuku, the neon is so intensely gaudy that if you didn't look up, you'd never realize that the sun has set. Here in Akihabara, though, it's a little easier to notice that day has given way to night ... and among the dedicated video game fans who are waiting in line to pick up the new Nintendo Switch at midnight, those few who *aren't* conscientiously bundled up against the oncoming chill of night are pretty few and far between.

Xiaomu, for all that she has a natural fur coat (should she choose to make use of it), is actually dressed to account for the weather. Her normal qipao has been replaced by a long-sleeved sweater and a knee-length skirt, the skirt revealing nice warm tights; all three of those are black in color, plus she's got her usual red vest over that ensemble. Her staff rests against her shoulder, nestled in the crook of her right arm so it won't fall over and hit anyone who's next to her in line; she's alternating between chatting with her neighbors (mostly talking about what games they're getting and what they hope will be coming out) and checking news reports on her smartphone. "Yeah," she remarks to the guy ahead of her, "I'm really hoping some good visual nov--"

And that's when her phone plays the chorus from the old 'Segata Sanshirou' theme, and a text message pops up.

"-- The ship was *what*? Ahahahahahaha ..... ohhhhhhhh, you have got to be fucking *KIDDING ME*!?!"
Kirika     Kirika has been waiting here for hours now, calmly standing in line with Xiaomu. Her sword is not present right now, but it is within summoning distance as she slurps up cup noodles. It's a good thing she brought a thermos with her!

Her ears perk as she glances to Xiaomu, and tilts her head. "Is something wrong?" She asks, concerned as she tries to see what's on her phone right now.
Reina Kinney Would you believe that Reina's waiting here for a Switch too? Well, sort of.

She's also been asked by Laia to keep an eye on the crowd waiting for the Nintendo Switch, and if things get out of hand, she's authorized to use her authority to try to calm things down and bring them back to order. Not that anyone would guess she's a member of GUARDIANS by her attire.

Instead of her usual Gurhalian attire, Reina's wearing a more standard outfit of a leather jacket, jeans, and sneakers to make her look less conspicuous. Of course, she just wants the launch to happen so she can go home and enjoy it. Right now, she just sips her coffee and sighs, scowling a little at how it was made. "Dammit, too much sugar again!"

When Xiaomu's phone rings, Reina doesn't pay much heed to it or what she's saying until she starts laughing. Then she swears a bit, and Reina looks over at Xiaomu with a raised eyebrow. "What is it now?" She asks, frowning a little. "Don't tell me there's yet ANOTHER delay." A slight hint of sarcasm might be detected.
Gaonoir Being only human, Erika has definately bundled up in a nice winter coat and such to endure the wait. Which has been for most of the day, after the runaround it took to make sure she could both get off work, and that neither the Watch or the Fleet would need her services for the day. But holding a spot for an entire day is little problem for her! Because she has a secret weapon!

In the form of the black and purple canid that steps out of the shadows next to her spot in line, looking as dour as is normal for Gaonoir. "I still can't fathom why you humans do this sort of thing for some trivial entertainment," he grouses as he hands her a takeout carton. See, she doesn't even need to leave her spot for food because of him.

"Trivial!? This is the biggest release in years!," Erika retorts as she snatchs up the box and pries it open. "I haven't seen a line this long since the last Realm of Ragecraft expansion."
Tomoe Gaming, The Switch had been a big thing, even in the age of VR some portables still existed and there was a resurgance after the SAO incident too. Either wya her father never had got a switch and Tomoe thought this would be a great idea also a chance to try out her street clothes if not for her ears she might just be mistaken for a person with oddly coloured hair then again she was pretty toweringly tall.

"What's wrong Xiaomu?! Kirika Your here to pick up a system too?"
Mitsu Mirage     A while before off the coast of Yokohama:

"Heh, so, Ouma wants me to play with their new toy, huh? At least he's paying me quite well for this, might actually get to /keep/ this one." Mitsu's voice echoes from one of the buildings, a smirk upon the former TSAB mage. She looks to some of the Tengu beside her, "So, Ouma also gave me you guys to play with too. Here's the plan, we're gonna see what this mallet does..." she twirls the mallet a bit, a thing remenicent of an old story... "And then we're going to Akihabara... and gonna cause a bit of chaos there. Sound good? I thought so."

Hopping towards the roof, the Black Rabbit gets a look to the incoming ship, binoculars in hand. "Okay, so..." she looks at the Rabbit Hole and summons up the hole in front of her. At the other end, the hole is a small ways away from the ship... and with a reach through and CLANG of the mallet against steel.... the ship suddenly dissapears. Either tiny or sucked into the mallet, Mitsu can't see /that/ far even with the binoculars. "Okay, let's go."

    Current:

ON the roof of a building, not far away from the group of 'good' people down below, Mitsu and the Tengu peer down, smiling. "Well, I wonder what Ouma wanted with those consoles anyways, maybe he's a gaming freak... or something. Who knows." she peers down, "Might as well try to finish up things, right? Should be a few more in there..." it's here she launches herself off the roof, the Tengu following, landing /RIGHT/ in front of Xiaomu... with a boing in places that counts to puncutate a few things. "Nice yell, could hear you from the roof."
Kirika     !?!!?!?!!?!?

NINJAS! KIrika assumes a fighting stance the moment Mitsu makes her entrance. A missing cargo ship, this mysterious rabbit girl appearing with NINJAS (GODDAMN!) and stuff, these things can't be a coincidence.

"Who are you, why are you here?" Kirika demands, unarmed but still trained in hand-to-hand clearly as she raises her fists and curls her tail, fists tightened. Kinugiri will have to wait.
Xiaomu Xiaomu's gaze sweeps across the tengu and Mitsu alike, and if looks could kill, the effects would be much akin to a machine-gun turret slowly traversing across a battlefield, mowing down all who stand in its way. "So, you're one of Ouma's new recruits or something?" she asks Mitsu, rather than addressing the winged youkai. "Please, feel free to make my life simpler and tell me you're the reason the Switch shipment went missing in transit ..."

Her smile is less 'cheerful' than 'hungry,' but she tucks her phone away and shrugs her right shoulder in such a way that her staff stops leaning against it and comes to rest with its shaft gripped firmly in the sage fox's hand. "Before we commence the beatdown, how about you explain what you did to the ship, how we get it back with its cargo undamaged, and why a bunch of youkai who treat human beings as 'prey' or worse took an interest in a shipment of video game consoles?"

.... It's not really a *question*, despite her grammar, judging by how ready she looks to start inflicting injury. Meanwhile, a bunch of the nearby otaku have started snapping photos of Mitsu, possibly mistaking her for part of the launch party entertainment. Granted, she probably *looks* (at least to them) like she could be a professional booth babe.
Staren     A beam of light shoots down from the sky and coalesces into Staren, armored up as usual. "Seriously? A whole multiverse, and you steal a shipment of /videogame consoles/? There are for-realsies magic artifacts out there, or giant robots, or like, SO many jewels, and they're even more portable! Heck, if you wanted to play games, you could go to the future when the games are out of copyright, steal a bunch of superpowered future computers, and download some emulators and ROMs! And if you get the computers a legit way instead of stealing them, you get all the entertainment and none of the heroes hassling you! So..."

"Seriously, what's the plan here?" He gestures vaguely at the crow. "You gonna ebay those for massive profit? You realize now that they know this shipment was stolen, Nintendo can just include a patch telling those machines to brick themselves in the next system update, right? And who's gonna pay for a plastic brick?"
Reina Kinney One moment, Reina's alternating between disliking her coffee and asking what's up with Xiaomu, and now there are NINJAS dropping in?!

"Oh, you have GOT to be Falzing me!" Reina exclaims as she throws off her jacket in that classic manner that it briefly obscures her for a second, but that's all it takes to give her a chance to switch into her normal attire. "We're under attack here and now? Son of a..." She trails off as she remembers what Laia said about cursing while plainclothes. Shrugging, she snaps her fingers in her right hand and her beam sword appears in her hand, literally materializing out of nowhere. (As usual.)

It's then that she hears Xiaomu talking about the shipment of Nintendo Switch consoles going MIA, and immediately she scowls. "So, you just HAD to ruin it for everyone, didn't you?!" She shakes her head. "Looks like we're gonna have to a lesson the hard way!" She raises her sword at the nearest ninja. "Unless you wanna surrender peacefully so I don't have to demonstrate the potential cutting capabilities of these weapons, since I'm sure they're just itching for a new type of sushi cutter!"
Gaonoir "Stay here," because the last thing Gaonoir wants, not that he would ever admit it, is Erika getting upset because she has to give up her spot just because of some jerks coming to cause trouble.

At least this late into the evening there is plenty of darkness for him to move around in. The digimon disapears into the shadows near his Tamer, and uses his ability to move between them to get closer to the confrontation near Xiamou. Though beyond that he remains lurking there, out of sight, until he's sure this is actually going to turn into a fight.

He really hopes it does. He's REALLY bored after sitting here all day with his human, with nothing to do other than play the handheld games they got for christmas from the Admiral.
Mitsu Mirage     Mitsu opens her mouth to respond but with the Otaku taking pictures of her, she gives the sage fox a curious look then starts to rub something in... by posing for those cameras, using her assets to taunt her. Once that's done, and hopefully /before/ the Sage Fox greets the Rabbit with a staff. She turns in front of Xiaomu with a smirk, shooting the wordy Staren a look, "Who cares about the entire console itself... ya dipshit." a turn back to Xiaomu and she pulls a, possibly /very familiar/ hammer out in front of her.

She paces a bit this way and that, <Shocker Shield.> comes the German voice from her Device, a barrier of lightning encompassing her. "First off, yeah, I'm doing things for Ouma. And two, yeah, I'm not afraid to admit that I'm the reason for it. See, Ouma wants them for something, for what I don't care... I got this hammer to have some fun with. Just smacked it and poof, it went gone." she reaches a bit, digging into her cleavage window to pull out a very tiny ship. It's got Nintendo's colors on it.

She stuffs it back in and she smiles, "Oh, you want it back undamaged? I'm afraid I can't. See, I don't know /how/ to get it big again... Ouma will though." she turns to Reina, Staren and Kirika. "I'll grace you with my name here, I'm Mitsu. Mitsu Mirage. The Black Rabbit." a smirk is given, "If you want the ship... come beat it out of me. Tengu? Go have fun." she turns to everyone else, "You guys may wish to run, it's going to get a bit... chaotic..." she says this last line with a sinister laugh, which may earn a few more pictures. Entertainment and all. A quick hop back and, in mid air, she aims right to the Sage Fox, "Shocker Breaker!" the sound of shotgun shells loading in her gauntlets echo and blasts of blue lightning launch towards the party! "Ride the lightning, won't you?"
Staren     Just to recap: They're fighting a bunny magical girl who's used a magic mallet to shrink down a ship full of Nintendo consoles and hide it in her cleavage. Is this the most ridiculous thing Staren's been involved in?

Well, there was the time with the bacon golems...

Things turn serious quickly though, as attacks start flying. "Run! In a calm and orderly manner!" Staren encourages. "My cameras have recorded everything, so we can prove who's in line later if you're crazy enough to care, you won't lose your place! Just go!"

Staren runs around trying to protect civilians -- the real weapons can't come out until they're gone! His forcefield takes the kits at first, and any Tengus trying to melee him or the civilians he's protecting find that his armor is electrified, with an effect much like a taser! Maybe some tengu will be dropped out of the fight before it gets going...
Gaonoir And this is exactly why Gaonoir hung back while the other's confronted the aggrivators. He's still got the unseen element of surprise here. Up until he leaps out of the patch of shadows he had been lurking in.

"ROLLING COUNTER!"

And ambush the tengu trying to jump into the line of nerds by crashing into them in a big spinning ball of dark energy.
Kirika     "Mitsu Mirage. I know your name, /fugitive./" Kirika growls accusingly, before she's knocked back by the lightning blast's explosion. She slides across the street before she hits a parked vehicle, leaving a massive dent in the side. "Uuuugh..." Dazed and staggered, Kirika tries to get back onto her feet, using her tail to push herself free of the poor Toyota. Such a nice car too, what a shame this happened to it.

Kirika raises out her arm and...waits. She waits a minute, maybe two tops, before her katana just FLIES to her hand, and she draws it, charging the Tengu with blade in hand! "HAVE AT YOU!"
Xiaomu So she's a lightning elementalist, is Xiaomu's first thought when Mitsu casts her barrier spell; her outward reaction is to shift her grip on the staff, left hand holding the shaft while her right hand closes around the headpiece, grasping the vertical bar which bisects the circle from which the rings dangle. Mitsu's 'bouncing' doesn't go unnoticed, either, judging by the sage fox's steadily darkening gaze.

The only good thing about those two massive growths on the rabbit's chest are how well they're going to protect the ship and its cargo (and its crew, can't forget about them) against impacts on Mitsu herself. Plus, most of the otaku who were lined up are probably going to be paying more attention to Mitsu's chest than, say, her ears, or the fact that a decidedly supernatural battle is starting to break out.

Really, it's not until the tengu start attacking - swinging their fans and launching gusts of wind at the other heroes and heroines, at least for now - that the otaku wise up and start trying to get out of harm's way ... but doing so means vacating their places in line. Which is still the smart thing to do. They're understandable stubborn about it, though - or at least, Xiaomu would understand it if she wasn't facing the issue of keeping these people *safe*.

She's got bigger fish to fry, though - or rather, juicier rabbits to cook. When Mitsu aims at Xiaomu, the sage fox finally draws her sword and stabs it into the pavement in front of her, with two results: a big chunk of magical ice rises up in front of her, and the sword itself - hopefully, anyway - acts as a lighting rod to draw at least *some* of the lightning and ground it out.

She's not going to solely play defense, though; leaving Suiren stabbed into the ground in front of her, Xiaomu reaches into her vest, draws her handguns Silver and Platinum, and leaps up to open fire on Mitsu. She can't just spam bullets at a target that evasive, of course - she has to pick her shots, but Xiaomu is certainly caapble of doing that as well.

Meanwhile, the tengu are going after whomever seems like a good target, not too picky about whether they're attacking an Elite or a hapless mundane otaku. They also go down pretty quickly when an Elite lands a solid hit on them; their real strength appears to be in numbers.
Reina Kinney Mitsu Mirage, a name that slightly rings a bell in Reina's head, but now is not the time for things like that. Now is the time to FIGHT!

The tengu show up quickly, and almost immediately, Reina mutters a curse word under her breath. (It's in Gurhalian, but the English equivelant is too vulgar to be repeated here!)

One of the tengu seems to take extra notice of Reina for some reason, and almost immediately, she shakes her head. "Just my luck. I seem to be attracting the wrong crowd again." She spins her blade a few times and says, "Come get some!" She adopts a defensive stance, waiting for the tengu that's taken notice of her to come at her so she can plan her attack carefully without risking the possibility of civilian injury.
Tomoe Tomoe had come for fun she had cometo get a present for her dad but hadn't expected something like this, Tomoe just makes a very unhappy face She sighs for a moment now s she moves to pop up a menu as ninjas appear and she sees Mitsu she narrows her eyes a little bit and there's a burst of light as she's changing gear but she can't make any actiosn while she's gearing upthe Salamander is very vunrable to attack while she's stuck mid henshin more or less but soon her clothing vanishes. Then her armour takes it place and she's looking like she's going to be ready soon. She looks to Xiaomu for a moment

"Need help or am I going to get busted if I step in, Xiaomu?"
Kirika     The Tengu are certainly creatively armed, that is for sure. Kirika tries to avoid wind gusts the Tengu fire at her, nimbly evading gust after gust. "Why do you assist her, what gain do you get out of this when you harm your fellow Yokai!?" Kirika demands as she tries to shove a hapless bystander out of the way safely, ushering them away.

"Leave now, it is not safe for you here!" She orders the crowd urgently, before she lunges for one of the Yokai, trying to slice that fan in half.
Xiaomu "Do I look like I have time to care about more than which side you're on?" Xiaomu retorts - more or less good-naturedly - to Tomoe. "Just don't hit any bystanders or damage any storefront windows!"

.... which does a lot to explain why Xiaomu is being so careful about where she's shooting.
Mitsu Mirage     Ah, now the fun's started. And at least ONE person here has heard of her, great! "It's good you know me, I don't know you, fox. Or are you in costume like some of those other people?" after that, one of the Tengu move in to shoulder tackle the foxblade! Reina also gets a Tengu in front of her who follows the defensive stance taken, it's going to be a battle of who's going to strike first and make the retaliatory strike there. The one that Gaonoir tackles shrieks at the sudden Digimon's attack, sending it flying into a car, denting it quite nicely, who knows if that's gonna drive again. It shakes its head and hops back up only to launch itself at Gaonoir, sending a burst of wind towards him, while it slices up the pavement below.

A couple of them do strike towards Staren, things hitting the armor only to get a retaliatory shock and the two sent backwards... only to go at him again with different methods. Throwing stars, wind blades and the like.

Xiaomu gets Mitsu's personal attention, along with another sound of shotgun shells being ejected. With her initial attack redirected to that grounded sword, she smirks a bit and launches herself off the ground and at the sage fox, "Lightning Claw!" <Lightning Claw...> a pair of swipes cause six arcs of blue lightning aimed towards Xiaomu and her wall of ice, "Get off that ice wall and face me fair and square." ... irony much?
Staren     Throwing stars actually seem the most effective against the forcefield, visibly chipping it away like glass. In engaging them in melee, though, he's revealed that attacks from close enough bypass it completely! His armor is showing scratches from the melee attacks.

Now that people have had time to escape, though, the gloves come off: Staren fires a beam cannon shot at one of them, then realizes between that and what just happened to that car, perhaps the risk of collateral damage is a bit high. He draws a pair of beam sabers and engages them in melee. "Is this really worth dying for?"
Gaonoir The Tengu crashes into the side of a vehicle with a sizable impact. "And you thought it was bad when they just pooped on your car!", Gaonoir retorts with a barking laugh. Which is cut a little short when despite the landing the Tengu gets back up. Well, at least they're not the kind of mooks that go down in one hit. That's boring.

The Gaomon braces himself, holding boxing-gloved paws up in front of his face for protection as the blast of air cuts down the pavement. Despite the effort the wind still pushes him backwards a bit, claws raking against the surface below him. Then dig in for a moment before kicking off, charging back towards the Tengu as its attack is fading at the end, and leaps to land on the Tengu's chest.
As soon as his paws connect Gaonoir swings an uppercut at the demon-bird's face with a shocking amount of force for his small seeming size. It should be enough to actually lift the Tengu off the ground. Long enough for Gaonoir to land and spin around, aiming to slam the other fist into the demon-bird's midsection before it recovers from the first blow.
Reina Kinney Once Reina is certain of what the tengu is going to do, in this case assume a defensive stance like her, she decides to advance slowly, while keeping her eyes peeled towards it. She has established that there are no innocents within range anymore, and she feels the threat of accidentally harming a civilian is low. It's only here and now that she finally decides to take action.

"Gurhalia!" She calls out, a unique battle cry, as she rushes at the tengu as if she's going to attack it. What kind of attack will she launch though?
Xiaomu "Toh~!"

As the Lightning Claw arcs race towards Xiaomu's perch, the sage fox simply leaps high up, does a forward somersault in mid-air, and descends foot-first at Inaba, "Sure, if you want!" she replies to the 'face me fair and square' challenge.

Whether the kick lands or whiffs, Xiaomu's next move upon landing is to bolt back to where she left her sword, and retrieve both it and its 'scabbard' - the rest of her staff, to be more precise - before sheathing Suiren. Somewhere in the course of that maneuver, she did holster her handguns again. And she's not slowing down now, either, charging to meet Mitsu's next attack - but not without being ready to defend herself against more of that lightning magic.
Tomoe Tomoe nods to Xiaomu as she repliues.

"Right if I have to choose I'm going to pick saving people over things."

She doesn't summon her sword and board tonight she looks to See that there's aa whole lot of trouble comming her way. Her wings flare out bright red and semi transparent.

"I try to get away from this sort of madness and what do I find?! THIS! SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL ARE WRONG WITH YOU!?"

Tomoe is not thinking so mucvh as she should but she will be attempting to not damage property or injur bystanders.

She redies the spear and moves.

"Fair and square? You pull this? Go get Dunked."

That's all Tomoe has to say on that as she then now attemps to charge on at the Tengu she may go for the leader later but someone needs to deal with crowd control right?
Mitsu Mirage     The Tengu are busy interacting with the rest of the groups:

Staren: The beam cannon cuts through the side and armor of one of the Tengu and blows up a car in the process, and both draw their fans as makeshift blades, probably strong enough to defend against those twin blades the mecha has. They don't say anything to Staren at all in response to the question, only moving to try and smash that tin can to peices.
Gaonoir: The upper cut lands and launches the poor(?) Tengu up into the air and to crash back down, shaking its head a bit to recover, only for that fist to send it flying again, into the same car. It recovers, albeit shakily, and starts throwing out a rapid barrage of wind blades towards him!
Reina: The Tengu advances slowly as well, perking slightly at the warcry as it charges in as well, moving to take the fan it holds and smash it right into Reina's side! It makes some sort of warcry to mimic the other, but it probably sounds like a strange caw.
Tomoe: There's one Tengu moving to raid a shop, who quickly stops and launches wind blades of its own to stop the charging Salamander!

Mitsu, however, grows lowly as her next attack gets flung over, "What, is your flatness giving you some sort of super agiliy?" she mouths off towards Xiaomu, only to take a foot to the face, slammed into the ground with a small crater in the pavement. She shakes her head and hops out, chasing the Sage Fox, throwing small blasts of lightning in rapid succession towards her. "Damnit, KRatzenfaust, unlock Wild Shooter for me!" <I cannot comply.> "Damnit, work with me here!" She launches herself into the air and moves to make a punch towards Xiaomu, claws first!
Kirika     Kirika trades a few more blows with her adversary, and the kitsune tries to evade the Tengu's shoulder checking. She charges forwards, trying to drive the Tengu against something like a car, her sword being used like an iron bar to hold the Tengu in place as she drives her head up against the ninjaburd with a headbutt.
Gaonoir Gaonoir narrows his eyes as the Tengu goes flying, only to get up -again-. "You really are stupid. Too stupid to realize to -stay down-." Then it starts flinging blades of air at him. These things kinda attack like digimon in some ways.

"STATIC HOOOOOOOOOOOOWL!"

Yes, in doing the attack Gaonoir actually howls. Doesn't change the fact that doing so unleashes a piercing wail that has some kind of electrified effect to it, thus the name. The energized attack is aimed so it's spreading blastwave will hopefully intercept most of those blades being fired at him.
Staren     Staren winces as he blows up a car. Whoops.

Trying to engage them in melee that way turns out to be a bad idea.

He tries to back away -- he may be forced to reveal that he can manifest energy wings and fly. He puts away the beam saber, and pulls what is clearly some kind of firearm from his bag. Like a futuristic SMG. It's caseless, but the ninjas are /probably/ familiar with the basic idea as he sends bursts of bullets their way. He's hoping they aren't the kind of ninja that can deflect bullets with their weapons!

This weapon, at least, won't cause as much collateral damage -- the bullets break apart and shatter on impact with hard targets, although that probably won't save car bodies or windows.

Also, if the bullets /are/ ineffective, Staren starts using the underbarrel launcher to fire expanding globs of sticky goo -- impairing movement or even sticking them in place could make them much easier to deal with with other weapons.
Xiaomu The claws clang against Xiaomu's staff, and the sage fox quickly pushes her staff up to try and drive Mitsu's fist (or both fists, if she's lucky) out of the way. And the *look* which Xiaomu is currently giving the excessively-bouncy magical thief ...

Put it this way: if a mundane fox were looking at a mundane rabbit like that, the rabbit's choices are 'run or become dinner'.

Fortunately for Mitsu, Xiaomu doesn't eat people ... but her counteroffensive is still pretty vicious, trying to kick Mitsu in the face, then punch her in the solar plexus - and then to reach down that cutout and try to retrieve the shrunk-and-stolen cargo ship. "They don't throw my balance off like those things do to you!" the sage fox retorts, giving her staff a twirl by way of breaking the lock. She might get wounded in the process, but getting the ship back?

And all those stolen game systems?

*Totally* worth bleeding for.
Tomoe Tomoe sure knows how to use the Naginata it's though a bit odd at times as she laynches herself at the Trngo that's now rather than going for a shop? Is going after her Shec calught by the wind blade they do tearinto clealry hurting her btu she doesn't bleed in the nromal snese. Tomoe meanwhile is flying right at them intending to go after them with her spear. she'll make use of the reach to try and disarm the Tengu furhter or just keep them at bay. either way she's going at it pretty hard. She's having a bad day, though she isn't quite /trying/ to our right kill the Tengu though.
Mitsu Mirage     Gaonoir: And that attack meeting attack creates a nice blast wave that does indeed intercept projectiles and even shatter windows with a nice firey explosion, because that's how that works, right? The Tengu, however, hops up onto the damaged car to take a flying leap towards him, taloned feet at the ready to scratch him to heck and back!

Staren: The twin Tengu stare at Staren, the beam sabers put away and ... oh hey, that's a gun. And the bullets fired rip through the leg of one, disabling him, but profusely bleeding. THe other one, however, starts rapidly throwing anything it can at the armored boy for injuring his partner! Kunai, wind blades, street signs, a car...

Kirika: Pinning and headbutt successful, there's a wince and it acts like it's been knocked out, only for that taloned foot to kick up behind and try to stab Kirika in the back, literally, with those sharp talons of his. It squaks angrily after the attempt and tries to squirm away from the pinning.

Tomoe: The naginata strike hits home, but not before a nice spread of kunai is launched towards the Salamander... and one being held in hand to go for a stabbing motion as it tries to get up close!

One of Mitsu's own fists is caught by the staff and she gives Xiaomu this stare. A stare of prey wanting to be predator... the kick, however, knocks her around a bit but she stays firm where she is, "On the contrary, mine /help/ with my balance, you flat chested wanna be fox." the punch catches her off guard, coughing up some wind and exposing the cleavage window only for the cargo ship to get stolen out from literally under the Rabbit's nose. A quick recovery... and she moves to uppercut the Sage Fox with her fist, claws included. "Rabbit's got claws, Fox."
Kirika     SHUUUUNK

Kirika lets out a howl as she feels the sharp talon go into her back. She growls in pain, her tail wrapping around the Tengu's foot as it squeezes and /twists/ with bone-crunching strength. She may not be interested in taking lives today, Kirika will not hesitate to break bone if she needs to. Speaking of that, Kirika brings her sword's hilt to knock the Tengu out with a single strong smack. No room to go for swording people in these sorts of situations, this is where improvisation comes in handy.
Gaonoir Gaonoir attempts to jump backwards out of the enemy's path, but the bird-demon is faster than he anticipated. How can something that's been smacked around so many times still move that quickly??? The taloned kick rakes across his face, snapping his head to the side from the blow. Momentum makes the rest of his body follow suit, spinning sideways before slamming into the pavement.

It takes a moment to refocus, but as he does Gaonoir smacks a gloved paw into the ground to push himself up. Gash marks angle across one side of his face as he stands, but instead of the wireframe like gridwork most Digimon display when deeply hurt, it's just inky blackness from the Dark Digitron.

"Heh." Pauses to spit some of the black ichor out, then wipes his mouth on the back of a glove. "I guess yer tougher than I expected." Gloves clench back into fists. "Not gonna save you, though."

With a powerful lunge Gaonoir starts swinging furious punch after punch at the Tengu. "SHADOW BOXER!" Which leave shadowy afterimages in their wake, that hit almost as hard as the punches themselves do if they connect. It's hard to tell which attacker is the actual Digimon and which are just the manifestations of his shadowplay ability increasing the number of punches per second.
Xiaomu "I AM NOT FLA--grk!!"

Proof of how flat Xiaomu isn't is quick to come as the sage fox reels back - not from the impact, but from trying not to get laid open by the claws swiping upwards in that uppercut. She's lucky enough to avoid getting claws to the chin or face, but her sweater is nowhere near that lucky; the claws carve a path up Xiaomu's cleavage, shredding the sweater beyond repair, even if Mitsu didn't also draw blood in the process ...

Which she does.

It's hard to say whether it's the drawn blood or the ruined sweater that angers Xiaomu more, but whehn she finishes stepping back and her face lowers to look at her target again, the fury on her face is plain to see. Her staff is left to drop to the ground next to her as Xiaomu reaches into her vest again, drawing both Silver and Platinum --

"JUU NO KATA!!!"

-- and where she was decidedly picky with her shots before, she's far less conservative when Mitsu is still right in front of her. The 'Black Rabbit' is probably more concerned with pressing the attack than with going into evasive again, and that's what Xiaomu's gambling on as she opens fire with both handguns, finally putting *her* speed and agility to use as she tries to pin Mitsu down in a one-foxwoman crossfire.

(The retrieved cargo ship is in one of Xiaomu's vest pockets, deposited while she was drawing her guns.)
Staren     Staren might be able to tank some of this, but he tries to dodge anyway... especially when it throws a /freaking car/. "Seriously?!"

"You get mad like you care, but if you really did, wouldn't you be taking your wounded friend to safety?" He feels kind of bad for them now, as he tries to hit the other tengu with glue grenades. "Why won't you just stand down? You're not committed enough to this to commit some /serious/ terrorism... you're outclassed by my very real firepower! Give it up! Get out of here!"
Tomoe Tomoe is trying to keep some level of range here but there's a chance that the Kuni would get past her. After all she's not in full on tanking gear right now and one of the Kunai catches her in the neck, she doesn't bleed but she is hurt. The 'flesh' distorts and horrible jagged wireframes can be seen from a virtal hit worse a status effect she's got a bleeding dot and her HP is dropping form that. Her hand reaches out to the neck futily for all that will do. It's now up close and Tomoe is now trying to fight the thing one handed with her spear and it's not going as well as she thought it would.
Mitsu Mirage     "Yes you are!" Mitsu retorts as the claws hit home, she takes one look, blood and opened sweater... "Flatter than me, anyways." she continues, smirking a bit more... at least until that staff is dropped and the twin guns come out again, the bullet firing kind. "Oh. Those." ... shit. She wasn't going to test her Barrier Jacket against gun rounds, she knew it protected against magic attacks and things the TSAB agents could throw at her but this? This is kinda rediculous.

"Fall back! I'll report to Ouma." she yells at the Tengu who immediately collect any fallen or seriously injured and run off while Mitsu opens up the Rabbit hole once more... the bullets being fired enter the hole, never to be seen again. "Okay, fine, I don't deal with guns much anyways... you can have them, but man, I'll be back." she mutters, "I sense a lot of magical items here... I'm so going to have some fun with them later!" and she bounces off a few of the cars and runs away... "Stupid flat chest fox!"
Gaonoir Gaonoir just snorts and crosses his arms as the Tengu finally wise up and retreat. "Hmph. Stupid birds." Then folds his pawsa behind his head as he turns to wander back to where he left Erika waiting at her spot in the line. "But at least I won't be bored for the rest of the night."
Xiaomu "It'll be the last fun you ever have if you try!" Xiaomu yells at the fleeing Mitsu. But hey, the fight's over, the bad guys are fleeing, and the neighborhood didn't get too badly trashed.

Too bad she can't stick around to relish the results. She pulls her smartphone out. "Hey chief ... ship's been recovered, we need to figure out how to reverse the shrinking, I'm on my way to the harbor right now." Then she pulls out a certain object that resembles a high-tech racing baton of some kind ...

A 'baton' which quickly turns into her lightcycle. "Hold my place in line when the line forms up again!" she calls out to one of her allies, more or less at random - and then she guns the engine. She doesn't know if whatever magic shrunk the ship down might just randomly wear off before she can *get* it to the water, so she has a vested interest in not hanging around.

She doesn't even yell 'High Speed Xiaomu' as she goes, she's in THAT much of a hurry.
Staren     Well, that's that then! Staren decides he shouldn't stick around too long -- without Union backing, he's unsure of the legality of fighting ninjas in the streets. But first...

When asked later, the golem made of car parts standing outside the game store would explain that it is holding Xiaomu's place in line.
Tomoe Tomoe is beat up but they seem to have won it. She looks over to Xiaomu for a moment and whiles at the light cycle. Wait she needs to also help in he recovery she's got an order as well like hell she's letting her switch be lost and away she goes taking flight after Xiaomu. Later that night would be her yelling at Kirito about old adaptors to make it work with a modern TV....
