Lunara Today Lunara wanted to have a fairly relaxing day and see a new place in the Multiverse. From what she'd heard from others, Equestria was certainly one place likely to fufil such desires. She was also interested in meeting a certain someone by the name of Rarity, who was specifically mentioned to her by a few people she met a short time ago in a mall of all places. She makes her way through the warpgate and finds herself at the edge of town in Ponyville.

As she gazes over the village, seeing how it is sort of nestled in with nature, with even what looks like a home made into a large tree, it reminds her a little of a Kaldorei settlement, and that makes her feel at least a bit more at home. With a smile, the dryad prances toward the nearest street and begins wandering through Ponyville a bit. The dryad has retained her normal form, so she may attract a little attention.
Rarity A home -and- a library... Well technically it was the later and it was the recent occupant that made it a former, but you get the idea. Homes is where the heart is, and that certain unicorn has her heart firmly settled on Ponyville and her friends.

Dryad may get a peculiar look or two, sure. But outside visitors is hardly a strange occurance in itself these days and contrary to what she may worry it does little to disrupt the quaint going ons of the day. Other than an objecting "That's not fair!" from the green unicorn sitting on a bench human-style. "She has hooves -and- hands." The pony lying next to her just rolls her eyes and goes back to reading her confectionary cookbook. It may not be Spring yet but the weather isn't too cold to prevent bench sitting and ponywatching apparently. Just sipping hot cocoa instead of ice smoothies.

Meanwhile Rarity is at the cafe, also getting some hot cocoa and a light snack, after having had spent much of the day getting her sister and her friends ready for going to visit Toph later in the weekend.
Lunara Lunara might have grinned for a moment at the pony complaining about her having hands as well as hooves, but if you blinked you'd miss it. She continues wandering through town, slowly heading in the direction of said library/home as she's curious to have a closer look. Along the way though she does pass by the cafe, and as the scent of fresh food drifts past her nose, her stomach growls, and she stops to look at the place. "Hmm, it has been a while since breakfast... Why not." She says to herself before turning to head into the cafe properly, offering anypony already there a friendly smile.
Rarity Rarity levitates the mug up with her unikinesis and is just in the process of taking a comforting slow sip as Lunara enters. Though from the initial point of view she can only see the dryad's upper body over the mug. Being the polite mare she is she finishes drinking calmly before saying anything. "Hello dear. A new visitor from 'out of town' as they sa--"

And upon lowering the mug the entirety of her form comes into view. It is still enough to give even a pony experienced with the Multiverse a moment of pause. "--Mm, silly question, it would seem."
Lunara Lunara turns toward Rarity as she hears the mare's greeting, grinning and chuckling a bit, perhaps both at the fact that 'dear' could be considered an unintended pun, and the indeed silly question. "Hello, and yes, I'm an Azerothian dryad, very much an out of towner I guess you'd say. My name is Lunara, and as soon as I smelled the scents coming from this cafe, my stomach started to complain a bit. What do you have on the menu exactly?" She asks as she moves a bit closer to Rarity.
Rarity Rarity opens her mouth a little, but then pauses and decides not to commit a horrible faux paus by mispronouncing that odd collection of syllables into a name she has only heard once. Instead she opts for "That definately sounds exotic," as she magics a napkin to dab off her muzzle. "Some of finest salads and vegitarian sandwhichs in Ponyville to be certain. And my name is Rarity, by the by."
Lunara Lunara nods at Rarity's statement about her name. "Exotic, hmm, I guess you could say that. It's derived from the name of my grandmother, Elune, who is sort of a goddess where I come from. Anyway nice to meet you. I hear you are quite an accomplished seamstress and clothing designer. Impressive without hands, though I guess you must use whatever power you are using to hold up that cup. As for food, hmm, I don't have bread very often, so I guess I'll have a sandwich, as for what sort I guess what do you recommend? Also what are you drinking? I don't think I've ever had anything like it as much as I can tell by the scent."
Rarity Rarity glances sidelong at her mug for a moment. "Well, yes. But all unicorns have magic. The skills to use it in a chosen manner still takes practice and dedidcation." Then sets the mug down on the table. "It's called hot cocoa. Something to warm up with on these brisk days.. I would suggest looking at the menu sandwhich, dahling." Which, not surprisingly, many of which have flowery names. Because they actually have flowers in them. Because horses.

At least it's not a hundred repurposings of something cliche like hay?
Lunara "Well of course I realize that whether you're using some sort of magical power or hands or whatever other means, lifting a cup to your lips is on a whole other level of complexity from putting an outfit together... however that's done." Lunara offers as she begins looking over the menu for a bit before moving to the counter to place her order. "I think I'll have the lily rose sandwich an apple, and a cup of that hot cocoa please." She then turns back to Rarity. "Speaking of your craft though, some of the people I've met through my travels in the Multiverse, have suggested it might be a good idea for me to invest in some clothing, since, well, some places I guess require a bit more modesty than the forests of Val'Sharah."
Rarity Goodness, this Azeroth has even more bizarrely mystical sounding names than Equestria does. Rarity does allow herself a slight smirk at the explaination though. "Mmm, yes, they do at that. Not that it is likely to bother anypony here... but yes. Mmm." She pauses in levitating her mug back up. "Earthy tones. Something about you strikes me as very.. naturalist."
Lunara Lunara nods and laughs lightly at the comment about the name of her homeland. "It's Elven, Kaldorei to be specific, they appear similar to myself, from the waist up anyway, lacking the deer-like appearance and walking on two legs. But yes, you could say that I am somewhat of a naturalist, it's sort of what we dryads do. For thousands of years, I have worked with my brothers and sisters to protect the wilds we call home from those who would corrupt or destroy them. It is never easy, as new threats seem to arise like weeds, and there seem to be ever more in recent times." She explains as she takes her sandwich and cocoa, moving to take a spot near Rarity and begin to eat.
Rarity Rarity mmhmms, filing that away for later. It's useful tidbits like that about potential future clients that allows her to craft to their inner beauties as well as the outer. "You would get along lovingly with Fluttershy I imagine. Zecora, too."
Lunara Lunara takes a moment to chew and swallow a bite of her sandwich and take a sip of cocoa before speaking to Rarity again. "Oh? Who are they? Other ponies around here I presume? Perhaps you can introduce me sometime. I'd like to commission an outfit or two from you, no rush on it though, I mean in the meantime if necessary I guess I can get a shirt somewhere at least... But one way or the other I guess I'll be back here before long."
Rarity "Why yes they are. Fluttershy spends most of her time looking after various animals, and Zecora is... well... mystical." Rarity makes a 'can't quite explain it' gesture with one hoof. "She is a Zebra, which are fairly exotic as well." Then gives a small polite laugh. "Oh I am certain I can work something out. Though you can do that as well. I hear 'casual' is really in amongst some humanoid cultures."
Lunara "Hmm, well I'd be happy to meet them both, they do indeed sound like folk I'd get along well with. As for the clothes, well, from personal consideration and talking with others, I was looking for full outfits that would compliment both my upper and lower halves, perhaps one more contemporary outfit for everyday sorts of things, and one fancier one for more formal occasions." Lunara explains before going back to eating her sandwich, finishing off the last few bites.
Rarity "That would be the most apt way to ge about it," Rarity replies with a nod, then sips the end of her own cocoa in betweem comments. "One of each is just enough variety to be comfortable and useful with getting overtly complicated in possible choices."
Lunara Lunara nods sipping at her cocoa as well. "It's at least a start. I've never really worn anything of the sort before, but I guess if I'm going to travel to different worlds in the Multiverse, I should try to adapt to their cultures. I may end up going for more variety later, but for now, I guess I even need to come up with a way of storing such clothes. I don't exactly live in a house like you and so many others in the Multiverse."
Rarity Rarity sets down the empty cocoa mug after she's finished. "I am sure that matter will come along with a solution soon enough as well." As well as a few extra bits for a tip as she gets up. "My store is on the other side of town if you wish to come by some time dahling. Though if you'll excuse me, I need to go make sure my sister is ready for her outing this weekend."
