Owner Pose
Pippi     Pippi had been on the Stark Net. Pippi was supposed to be sneaky and a ninja. Pippi was not sneaky, nor ninja-like when her stomach announced her presence when they were talking about food.

So, instead, Pippi was hiding, in her room. The room was softly lit by a copper-colored star light with a bunch of holes punched i the metal, sending little specks of 'starlight' everywhere around the place, bouncing off a somewhat together disco ball. The twin-sized bed was (kinda) made, with a couple of stuffed animals tossed on it to make it look homey. The dinosaur blankets were clean, and Stick was hanging above it in its place of honor, with STICK and an arrow pointing to it (the S being backwards and the i being lowercase).

Pippi, however, is nowhere to be seen.
Alopex     After the lack of response to the quick radio message, Alopex decided to check in on her partner in 'Things', wanting to assure Pippi that being on Stark.Net wasn't an issue and that no one meant her any harm. A knock is given before the fox has a look inside, brow quirking when Pippi is no where to be seen. She... didn't hear her leave? "Pippi?"

Hopefully, the training had been paying off! Maybe she was about to be ambushed! Maybe . . . she isn't sure what is going on at all. How refreshing! It sets Alopex searching around for whatever she could find.
Pippi     At first there's no sign... there's certainly no attack.

There is a ka-WHUMP followed by an "OW!" from under the bed though, and P ippi attempts to scoot farther into the darkness, the smaller canine mutant curling her tail between her legs, eyes wide, ears back and awaiting certain DOOOOOOOOOM.
Alopex     While looking around, the loud WUMP catches Alopex by surprise. A tilted head regards the bed for a long moment before she kneels down, peeks under there, and then with a fair amount of concern in her voice, she asks "What's wrong..?"
Pippi     Pippi is pushed about as far back as she can get in the corner of her bed, with a pillow held in front of her defensively.

"I... I know I'm not supposed to let people see me and ninjas are super secret and if people found me they could take me back to Lambda or be really misunderstanding and label me a monster but I was listening to one of those radio devices and they were talking about food and I was hungry so my stomach growled and everyone was really really quiet and when I apologized they were all 'you don't sound like a dog' and then I sounded like a dog and then you came on and I'm sorry I know they're not supposed to know about me!" she squeaks.
Alopex     Rather than watch her in that leaned over position, Alopex takes a seat beyond the refuge of the under-bed. Without an ounce of irritation or disapointment in her voice, she continues, "Pippi. From what I have seen of those on Stark.net, I highly doubt they would turn you over to Lambda. On top of that, I do not believe they could trace your radio frequency to where we are. There is nothing wrong with speaking on the radio, I assure you. There's no need to be afraid of them or me. I understand your concern, but the last thing that is going to happen, while we are in our home, is that you are taken. Again. I won't allow it.
Pippi     The pillow gets pushed to the side, and Pippi's head pokes out from under the bed. She has a big ol' dust bunny in her hair, which is messy and might be in need of either some hairties or a haircut. SHe blinks a moment.

"So, you're not mad at me?" she questions cautiously, "for talking on the radio withotu you there?"
Alopex     With her head slipping out, Alopex reaches to pluck the dustbunny and flick it away, then she starts to see about straightening the pup's hair, "Not in the least. The radio is something I feel is our one link to our allies and to the outside world. Far be it for me to keep you so isolated. You've suffered that far long enough. The one rule for the radio is to not tell them where our home is. As long as you can do that, I think you being on the radio isn't so bad. If you want to -meet- someone from the radio... just be sure that they are trustworthy. Go by what others think of the person you want to meet. If there's any doubt at all, you can always ask me."
Pippi     The dust bunny is flicked. Pippi looks up at Pex, then disappears back beneath the bed before she wriggles back out on her back, pulling herself out as she takes a deep breath.

"IT... it does get kind of lonely. I did get lost, once, and ended up fighting this BIG MONSTER THING... with a /dragon/. Fighting with the dragon. Not pummelling it with the dragon as a weapon. I was really, really, /really/ lost." Pippi states, then she assumes a lotus position, takes a breath, and lets it out slowly. "I... I was scared you were angry at me when I heard your voice. I'm sorry."
Alopex     A small smile appears as Pippi slips out and mirrors the fox's position on the floor. "That's.. fairly lost. A dragon..? I can't say that I have seen one here, yet," Pex muses, turning to face Pippi. "At least you found your way home, hmm?"

As for the 'mad' part, the concern slips back into her expression, "Mad at you? No, not at all. I was more concerned at your sudden departure. I thought it may have been the government agent that had spoken just a little earlier. I was simply commenting on how everyone was talking about talking dogs and to be fair, you're the only one I have met."
Pippi     "I... I am lonely, but I have Christmas and The Captain!" Pippi states, her tail wagging. "And I have you, and how can I not be happy and I was just listening and getting confused and kinda wanted them to talk about the food again 'cause I was hungry but I'm not anymore and then you came on and I was all 'oh no! It's Pex and she's going to get really mad at me!' Sooo o I..." she frowns, her shoulders rising up "... got off and hid under the bed because if I left the room you'd know 'cause you're super smart and skilled and the /best/ ninja ever."
Alopex     Blink. The comment of her skills is touching, only bolstering that confidence she already has. As for the other residents of the Fox's Den, "Where -are- they anyway?" she suddenly wonders aloud before addressing the earlier statement. "Well, if you're hungry, we are just going to have to fix that... well, when you're hungry again. Remember, Pippi, you can always talk to me. The last thing you should ever be is afraid of me. I'd rather us talk than you be terrified. I'm your teacher, and your friend, and I will never be your enemy.
Pippi     "oh. CHristmas was sleeping on top of the radiator shelf and the Captain --"

"AWWWRK! AYE! AVAST MATEYS! YE SAVY?"

"... took up residence in my top drawer." Pippi states, pointing to a drawer where the bright colored macaw now hops out of, fluttering his wings. He already looks like a totally different bird than the one Pippi brought home.
Alopex     A glance is given the Captain who, now, looks the part. He totally belongs on the shoulder of a captain with an eyepatch, pegleg, and hook hand. Or maybe just one of those. "You're taking very good care of them... well done, Pippi," the fox then glances back. I'm glad they are here for you when I am not.
Pippi     The Captain turns his head, one milk-colored eye gazing out before he turns the other way, his good eye peering, and then he flies over with a squawk, and lands on Pippi's shoulder.

She reaches up and pets him gently. "Well... you take good care of me, I take good care of them, we take good care of each other." Pippi gives a bright smile. "So... that's how it goes. We're a family, aren't we Pex?"
Alopex     "Absolutley," the fox affirms, getting a rather good vibe just from saying it. She hadn't had a true family since her change. Pippi seemed to be in the same boat, except that she had far more dealings with the labs instead of being trained by the head of a dark organization. She shakes her head of the train of thought, smile reappearing. "And I would like to keep it that way."
Pippi     Pippi gives a smile, leaning back against her bed slightly as she brings an arm up and rests her shoulder, heavy with bird. She takes a deep breath, and she exhales. "Okay. So... so I'm allowed on the radio. When do I get to have the cool superpowers and codenames like on teevee?" she questions, her eyebrwos rising up and her tail wagging.
Alopex     A thoughtful hurm comes from Alopex as she considers the question, "Well, if you want a codename, you're free to come up with one. As for super powers..." she smirks, "Not a lot of people can rip up an entire chunk of road and just throw it at someone, Pippi. Don't discredit the power you do have.
Pippi     Pippi blinks.

    And it dawns onher.

"Ooooh. I... I kinda forgot that I'm super strong." she adds embarrassedly, closing her eyes and giving a slight laugh.
Alopex     A snicker, "Don't worry about it. I think you've had it long enough that it may be somewhat easy to forget. Hence why sometimes when you give me a hug I have to tap out." It's happened! Never hurt, but a reminder means the fox can breathe. "And to be fair, I imagine I've walked up on you before and you didn't realize it until I either tapped you on the shoulder or said something. So. I think we are even in that regard."
Pippi     The pup gives a laugh, and rubs the back of her head with her free hand. "YEah... I'm... I'm sorry Alopex. I do forget sometimes. 'Cause it's easy toforget. It's not like... shooting fire from your fingertips. Or growing to like HUGE SIZES. But I bet you it's pretty surprising 'cause other people forget too!"
Alopex     "It's alright. No harm, no foul, as I've heard people say. That strength is very useful from time to time, same as my skills are useful from time to time. Combined? Well, I think we make an excellent team. The more you practice and train, the more you'll be able to harness that strength and focus it."
Pippi     "I just wish it would hurry up and get skilled. I tossed you once 'cause it surprised you and then you're all 'whoom I'm a neenja hyah!'" Pippi gives a grin. And she glances down as the little gray tabby cat makes her way up, and flops over in her lap. Pippi, Disney princess. She scritches with her free hand.

"So... do.. you think I could come along on a Watch mission sometime? Or... or should I wait to be introduced to them?" she asks, a little nervously.
Alopex     "I think you're ready, Pippi, to be honest. You are starting to use that strength to counter some of my moves and you're forcing me to adapt to it. That's good. Also, If you're with me and the Watch on a mission, I'm sure we will make due. You have the radio, and I trust the people in the Watch, so feel free to speak to them. Just remember, a LOT of people do not even know the Watch exists, and I'm sure they want to keep it that way as long as possible."
Pippi     "OH! Right! I'll.. keep it a better secret than my existence. Or the secret menu at Flyby's." she leans forward. "Zee told me there was a secret menu and the menu had /only bacon/." she states, incredibly serious to the fact that the proprieter of a place with 'The Bacon COmmander' had a secret menu consisting entirely of 'bacon please'.
Alopex     "... Did she now? Heh.." the Fox seems amused, but her expression says she's impressed. "I still have a few friends I need to take there at some point.. Rebound is one, and she has a friend that she's been wanting to have visit so.. we may need to arrange something with FlyBy sometime soon." Idly, she wonders just what the burger-master would make for a kangaroo..
Pippi     "She totally did." Pippi states, and she gives a nod. "You had to use the little fox's rooma nd she told me all about it. ALl there is... on the secret menu... is..." and Pippi leans forward, tail wagging and ears up "/bacon/."
Alopex     "That sounds rather fantastic, Pippi." Pex tilts her head, "I wonder if she'd let me see it... or should I not ask about it? I just wonder if it has different kinds, and different burgers all involving different types of bacon.."
Pippi     "... belly bacon, back bacon, jowl bacon, turkey bacon, maple bacon, deer bacon, elk bacon..." Pippi lists off, and she gives a smile. "But... but don't say I told you. I don't want to get in trouble with Zisel. She's nice."
Alopex     The fox's stomach betrays her! So many types of bacon, a few that Alopex wasn't even aware that FlyBy even had. She -might- be salivating. Just a little. "I -am- a ninja, Pippi. I won't betray the secret, you have my word."
Pippi     "OKay. Cool. Because one day, I asked for a Bacon Commander with /extra cheese/. And she gave me... a whole. Block. Of. Cheese. With the bacon." her tailwags happily, and the canine just sits happily with the memory of all that bacon, all that cheese. "... she's a very nice lady."
Alopex     If one looks close enough, they may spot the sweatdrop at the mention of so much cheese going with so much bacon on the legend of a meal that is the Bacon Commander. ".. Th.. That... is a -lot- of cheese..." The fox sounds stunned. "... You finished it, didn't you?"
