Owner Pose
Golden     The grimm swarm in, a pack of beowolves and a den of ursai. The shadowy creatures seek the darkness that lurks in the hearts of humans and fauna, splitting into several groups. The larger of the splinter groups are lead by the leaders; beowolves lead by an Alpha, ursai lead by an Ursa Major. Unhappy homes, shelters for the downtrodden, miserable places to work; the places where despair, melancholy, and rage concentrate. They attract the grimm like moths to flame.
A factory where the owner considers the employees more tools of industry than people has its loading dock doors shattered by a rush of ursai, scattering the workers in panicked screams. The employees hide behind the ominous machinery they work with daily, hoping the Hunters arrive quickly.
The screams of children at play are interrupted by the appearance of the wolf-like grimms, the matron and older children ushering the younger inside. Though the entrance is barred, the beowolves stalk the exterior, looking for easier access while the larger one claws on the barred door. The headmaster and matron are doing their best to get their charges upstairs, to buy time.
The shelter was for the down and out, the homeless among Vale. It was more a shanty-town under a bridge, but it was a semblance of home. The despair draws the Alpha Beowolf and its pack mates, forcing the people there to take up makeshift arms to try to defend themselves. There is an anomaly here; the grimms have rushed past a young ashen-haired woman for unknown reasons.
Yang Xiao Long     Yang is racing through the streets, the deep growl of her motorcycle ripping through the air as panicked civilians flee the oncoming tide of Grimm. CitySEC are responding, riot troops and riflemen taking up defensive positions to contain the incursion and provide safety to the civilians. "Captain, what're we looking at?" asks Yang as she comes to a stop near the forward post.

"About thirty Beowolves and eight Ursa, they're being led by an Alpha and an Ursa Major, but they're splitting up... it's like they're looking for something." replies the captain. "We're glad you're here, Team CVFY is already on site, but they're bogged down with the number of Grimm."

Yang nods, taking off her helmet and making sure Ember Celica are loaded. "Alright, there should be some others coming too, send 'em to where they're needed. Make sure the civvies are safe." she claps the guy on the shoulder, then leaps over the riot shield wall, sprinting off to go hunting.
Golden     Golden arrives, having followed the tug of his crest to Vale. He had traveled with Alden a good distance, and was glad for the support of his fellow digimon. He hops his away through the broken section of wall. "Oh... I've been here before. This is where I lost the crest in the first place... And it sounds like there's trouble, Alden! We ought to go help 'em!" The pull was stronger in the direction of the shanty-town, and he heard the sounds of conflict that way... so he follows the trail that way. Deep down he wants to try and make up for all the damage he did under Drowned Ophelia's influence and this seemed like a good place to start.
Gaonoir The deep growl of a roaring engine through the streets towards danger and excitement.... is something Erika wishes she could hear, instead of the stifling whine of an electric motor being all her scooter can produce. Thank heavens for warpgates, or she'd never get anywhere. Though it's fairly apparent why the young lady can't get licensed for something bigger, when she's paying more attention to the device clutched in one hand. "A monster attack, on Friday the 13th, -and- it's in the same vicinity as that vage digital signal you've been trying to track. It can't be a coincidence."

Gaonoir snorted over her shoulder. "This is not time to turn it into a conspiracy theory--" Then the dog-like digimon stops, turning his gaze in the other direction, ears leaning foward. He on the other hand is glad the scooter isn't very loud, because it's easier to make out the sound of claws trying to rip through metal a few blocks away. "Over this way." Gaonoir hops off the back of the scooter and sprints off towards the factory.

"Whaa... Why do you always have to run off like that?!" The little electric motor protests as Erika has to turn wide and weave back to get to where Gaonoir jumped off, and by then he's already a good deal ahead of her. "Geez, wait up!"
Alden The Gabumon X is more than glad to help Golden with the hunt, to keep the metalmamemon safe, and just to spend time with his friend!. He jumps through the broken wall after Golden, with Katze perched on his head, "Are you sure we should be here?" asks the Shinki. Alden just reaches to pet the small Maochao, "If he says it's this way..." he halts mid sentence, ears perk up. "Yeah, I hear them!" he growls back. "Katze!". There is a short lived, but bright, burst of light, and he stands on his Garurumon X form, "Golden, climb on my back!" he asks, waiting for him to get settled, before bolting in the direction of the conflict.
Deelel Deelel ahd worked iwth the Digimon on and off and had helped out Remant before. However today? Deelel ius on down town she's been snooping about a music shop, buying old recordings there and also on a cheap smart phone buying music online. Well that's what she /was/ doing until the Grim showed up and this has Deelel's attention sehs'a already on the road and riding in on her light cycle which makes a very strange and alien noise as Deelel gets an idea of how to deal with tyhe grim. She could use the light walls to delay them...
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna had literally just finished an event on her homeworld - not merely a live appearance, but a media interview - when the call for help came in, and she wasted no time in getting to Remnant as fast as she possibly could. She'll have to get back to the TV studio in Shiraokadai before she de-transforms entirely, just to get the little help she needs with her idol dress - and to make sure it's properly in the care of the wardrobe department.

It's not the first time she's been thankful for the way she transforms, and it probably won't be the last.

She's still in Flight Form as she comes racing in, although Jiina, Marina, and Erina are all following pretty close behind her; the Beowolves around the orphanage are the most obvious threat to civilians or allies, and Yuna wastes no time at all in opening up on them - showering the Beowolves with a barrage of focused energy bolts from the pulse blasters in her Flight Form's vambraces.

Physically, it might not do much more than annoy the creatures of Grimm ... but it's not just physical effects Yuna's worried about. She goes out of her way to swoop past one of the upper-floor windows, slow enough that anyone inside can see that she's a battlesuited human girl (rather than, say, a Nevermore), and continues harrassing the Grimm to try and draw their attention away from the orphanage and its residents. If anyone's been caught outside, she's actively trying to clear the Beowolves away from around them - saving lives is, as usual, Yuna's paramount concern. But trying to rekindle hope is a very close second, especially where the Grimm are concerned.
Yang Xiao Long     The Shanty Town group of Beowolves are stalking the streets, seeking out anyone not quick enough to escape. The screams of the doomed fill the air, and the scent of blood is choking. Deelel's lightwalls do help to funnel the Grimm away from some groups of civilians, but there's only so much that the Elites can do to save everyone.

The Orphanage is locked down tight, the Matron and her Aides firing rifles out of the windows, as the children huddle in the central room on the top floor. As Yuna flies past, the Matron lets out a cheer. Rescue is here! The adults redouble their efforts, firing at the Beowolves that don't take notice of Yuna, though the Alpha certainly does. The massive beast howls, shrugging off pulse blasts that just deflect off the boneplates on its back, before it leaps and tries to swat the flying Savior of Light out of the air.

Gaonoir comes upon a group of pitch black bears. They turn on him almost as one as he approaches, and roar as they lumber in to attack. The leader, a massive hulk of a beast, covered in bone plates and menacing with spikes, remains at the back, growling menacingly.
Golden     Golden hops onto Alden, making sure he doesn't knock Katze off. Onward!
The young woman forces her way to the front of the little shelter area, pulling out a strangely stylized sunburst pendant. It's been her good luck charm against grimm before, maybe it'll get her and her friends through this. She thrusts it forward like one presents a cross to a vampire. "Go away! There's nothing for you here!"
Much to the amazement of Ashley and her friends, the crest begins glowing with an orange light. Suddenly a wash of positive emotions welling out from the Crest of Courage, masking the fear of the people huddled in the maintenance tunnel. And the glow is becoming brighter, as well as pulling in motes of light to itself. The 'faint' digital signal is now strong and clear, showing up on Erika's digivice and pulling Golden much more strongly than before.
"Do you sense that too, Alden?" Golden asks.
Deelel Deelel seems to have no iussue with the high speed as she keeps oging with her light cycle trying to cut off the various GRIMM she'll even move to use the wall to tey and take them out if she can as she does her high speed dance on the light cycle as she zips aout trying to keep them away from the civilians even as others move to get to takuing the infestation out.

<<Deelel here serously how many grimm are we looking at?>>
Gaonoir Gaonoir probably could of handled a pack of Ursa himself, just evolving to his Adult stage (which could be mistaken for one at a distance). But when he comes around the bend to see the boney details of a more advanced leader the digimon skids to a stop. This was going to be a bit more complicated than he had anticipated. "Erika," he steps back as the Ursa turn towards him, ears swiveling towards the sound of the scooter catching up, "Now would be a good time to do your Tamer thing..."

"On it!" The scooter wobbles a bit as Erika tries to handle braking with one hand, while switching the D-Port off the comm app and back to it's primary function mode. When she finally flicks to the right setting she presses her thumb to the screen as the digital motes of purple and red start swirling around the device. "Digivice, online!" Then holds it up in front of her. "Ultimate Digivolution... EXECUTE!"

Blackgaomon, Warp Digivolve to scrolls across the screen as the build-up of energy, drawing additional bolstering from Erika's own spirit, erupts from the outheld device to engulf Gaonoir just as the Ursa horde is moving to attack. Within the brief caccoon of energy Gaonoir's form is stripped down to it's basic digital structure, then rebuilt up much the same way one would start with a wire frame and start adding layers and effect over it. Until the corona of energy briefly explodes away, swirling about and behind the new form to congeal into it's midnight cloak as armored feet hit the pavement. Massive vambrace arms crossed over the armored chest as eyes illuminate with the wolf-motiff helmet.

Umbra Gaogamon.

The first of the Ursa to lunge at him Gaonoir grabs around the neck, holding it up briefly as the vicious claws scratch into the Dark Digitron armor covering his body.

And then chokeslams the beast into the ground. "Is that the best you've got?!"

Probably not, but that's the entire point of taunting. Get their attention on him, not the people hiding inside the building.
Alden The big wolf races in the direction of the noises, "I sense something." he mumbles, ears swiveling, "Is that your crest?" he asks softly, his run slowing down somewhat as they get closer, making sure to announce himself with loud growls, and once close enough, he stops, "Golden, climb off.".
He takes no chances, the situation sounds... and smells serious!... Katze fumbles with the device, another burst of light, before he transforms to his strongest shape!, a large machine on threads, gatling gun replacing one arm, a shoulder mounted missile pod, and a laser gun on the other!. It looks rather impressive, light pink color all over. "Come here you monsters!" he growls, his mini gun beginning to spin up.
Yuna Kagurazaka And that's why Yuna brought the whole Matrix of Light with her.

The Alpha Beowolf leaps and swipes at just the right moment, its claws slamming into Yuna's lightly-armored frame and sending her spinning almost out of control with the Light Suit's protective aura flaring and crackling.

Thankfully, she does not crash, although *without* that defensive aura, she would probably have been mauled to the point of incapacitation. Rather than slamming into the ground, Yuna manages to 'roll' out of her spin without making contact - and then her armor comes apart: not the uncontrolled shattering of the Light Suit failing, but an even separation of the flying armor parts, the purple sections of armor flashing back to blue as Jiina's orange-and-white form streaks in.

Not exactly 'just as planned' - Yuna didn't expect to get swatted out of the air - but close enough; the transformation into Powered Form is quick, if not seamless, and a handful of seconds later, Yuna's feet - or rather, the feet of a bulky exo-skeletal battlesuit - settle heavily to the ground. The Matrix Divider materializes in Yuna's hands - her actual hands, sheathed in armor like her arms protruding from the suit's torso - and a quick shout of "Shugoseiheki!" prompts the white-blue-and-gold kite shield to materialize in the left exo-arm.

"What're you waiting for, fuzzymasks?" Yuna calls out defiantly. "Scared to come after somebody who can actually stand her ground?" She hefts the Matrix Divider, taking aim - but not actually shooting yet.
Yang Xiao Long     The Grimm in the Shanty town area all freeze. Suddenly they can't feel the negative emotions from the panicking citizens anymore. They look around confused, sniffing the air and starting to wander. It's an odd sight, seeing the massive black monsters wandering around as if lost.

The Alpha lands in a crouched position, turning burning red eyes to Yuna as she transforms to the larger Powered Form. It lifts its head, howls in a baleful, resonant tone, and then lunges forwards as the rest of the pack leap and lunge in as well. Someone should probably back Yuna up.

The Ursa flails, chokes, and then gets smashed into smoke, the body evaporating in seconds as its slammed into the ground. The rest continue to charge, while the Ursa Major gives a bellowing roar. A couple of the lesser Ursa get knocked through a wall by a bright yellow streak. "I'll keep some of 'em busy!" comes the familiar voice of Yang as she tries to take some of the pressure off of Gaonoir.
Gaonoir Gaonoir may be the dog here, but the Ursas are the ones trying to dogpile on him. Or maybe that still works in a difference sense. Either way, it's appreciated when Yang blasts past to knock some of the monsters away, even if there's not really time to say such because, you know, fighting.

Teeth and claws continue to dig into his armor, and while the Dark Digitron works quickly to seal up and mitigate the damage, it's not quite the same as actually healing. Just preventing it from getting worse. Finally Gaonoir manages to shove himself back from the group, though the distance isn't going to last more than vague moments.

"You need to get rid of them so we can deal with the boss." Erika as usual is staying back and trying to provide some sort of support, even if it's just shouting semi-obvious tactics.

"Yeah, and I know just the thing..." Fists clench at his sides, legs flexing at the ready, cloak giving a dramatic flare out and fluttering behind him. As the Ursa bumrush him again Gaonoir charges in turn, dark energy continuing to crackle around the blades.

"Zenith Cross!"

One set of warclaws lashes out at a downward angle into his attacks, leaving a shearing arc of energy in its wake. Only for Gaonoir to twist around and swipe upward across it, essentially slashing a wide X across his opponents.
Golden     Golden obliges Alden by hopping down. And near a beowulf grimm, which hopefully is going to see the small metal ball as a better thing to eat/attack than the civilians. A few attempted rakes with his metal claw for attention on top of just jumping into the scene might do the trick. "Hey there, uglies. How about you pick on something less squishy?" Golden might now never call Gaonoir 'black dog' after meeting these things.
Ashley looks at the crest in wonderment as the thing glows brightly in her hand. Now the thing is causing distruptions in the local digital networks as it pulls in data and transmutes itself, changing shape before the girl's eyes into a small golden-yellow device on a lanyard. The newly minted digivice isn't done yet, showing the crest on it's screen and rattling in the girl's hands. It seems to be having some kind of effect on the golden MetalMamemon as he fights the Grimm, as pixel-like motes of light start to appear around him.
Golden ends up hopping his way forward, placing himself between the grimm and the people, and the grim between him and Alden.
Deelel Deelel keeps up with the lkight walls for now mocing to hem the things in b ut now she summons her light disc to her off hand, powers it up and now starst rying to drive byt any remaining grim she's going to do what she can to keep any of the remaining small fry down but she's going to have to join up with everyone else on the big bad Ursa sooner or later.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna grimaces slightly; she didn't quite expect ALL of them to come after her. But hey - better *her* than the orphanage. The Matrix Divider flares, a blast unleashed to try and put a hole into the Alpha Beowolf, but she didn't have time to charge it up for a potential kill shot; if she's lucky, that hole will slow the Alpha down, but it won't do much of anything about the rest of the pack.

So when Yuna gets Beowolfpiled, the best she can really do is try to tank them until somebody comes to her aid. Her kite shield helps - she can smack Beowolves in the face with it instead of getting chomped on, but only one at a time. As for the smaller Beowolves, if they come at her at the right angle, she can pretty much stuff the Matrix Divider down a Beowolf's throat and blast it from the inside, and if the angle isn't QUITE that perfect, she can still do some damage and hopefully convince it to back off.

What she's hoping to accomplish is a mix of 'getting out of the pile' and getting herself into the right position that she can open up with her beam cannons and blow the Beowolves away en masse ...

But she has to do that *WITHOUT* also blowing away the orphanage. Or any other occupied buildings, for that matter.

No, she actually didn't think this through too thoroughly, why do you ask?
Alden The robot 'pink' wolf looks around, trying to scan how many targets, while his gun spins up faster, "Come here!" he asks again, finally picking the closest of the Beowolfs and trying to fill it with bullets, several small missile pods on his shoulder, sides and legs coming alive, shooting a couple projectiles each, aiming to blast them!, seems his aim is slightly off, still trying to get used to the targetting.
Yang Xiao Long     The Ursa stagger at the shove, a couple toppling over as they overbalance, but roll back to their feet again with agility belying their size. As they rush back in, claws ready to continue slashing, the ones closes to the center of the assault are cleaved into black and bone chunks, evaporating into smoke. The ones at the edges fare a bit better, struck with deep red gashes in their hides, which seal over, though they're visibly weakened even as they go in to attack again. Finally, the Boss Monster starts to lumber forward, dropping to all fours as it literally begins to charge, likely aiming to body check the giant black dogmon with its pure weight.

Golden's taunts get the attention of the Grimm, every single one of them turning their red eyes onto him and his 'mount'. The howl, and leap to slash their claws at both digimon, raking claws across the MetalMamemon's digizoid armour as he repositions. They don't relent. Alden's assault, meanwhile, however innaccurate, does manage to stagger and outright cleave a couple Beowolves in half... but also does a bit of damage to the surrounding structures. Best be careful.

Meanwhile, the Alpha gets staggered, falling to a knee as the hole in its chest slowly seals up. It's weakened but Yuna really isn't in a position to take advantage. Rifle shots continue to ring out from the orphanage itself, the Matron and her Aides trying to provide some cover as best they can, scoring headshots on a couple of Beowolves staggered by the kite shield on Yuna's exo-arm. It's about then, that a guardian angel comes falling from on high. "YUNA, BRACE!" yells Yang, as she comes slamming down into the ground in the middle of the pack, pulsing her gauntlet to blast the Beowolves away. "Got here as fast as I could, take out the big guy, I'll keep the small fry busy."
Golden     Golden struggles as he's attacked by the beowolves, even tag-teaming them with Alden makes for a difficult time for him in his weakened state. He's doing his best to use his smaller frame to roll, dive, and hop about to cause confusion among the enemy. He does finally notice Ashley and the other humans huddled in the maintenance tunnel. It's hard not to with the dawn-bright light spilling from the digivice in the girl's hand. "Get them somewhere safe!" he shouts.
The girl brandishes the digivice as a kind of anti-grimm ward as she steps out into the open, letting the people behind her flee somewhere safer. Where-ever that is.
In Golden's head, he is somewhere else, fighting off a nest of DEX 'mon, seeing the humans as young and old digimon fleeing one more bastion that fell. All those old forgotten faces swimming back to life for the digimon. The pixel motes are intensifying around him, swirling faster even as his strength is fading.
Gaonoir While the others are fighting Erika gets distracted by her Digivice beeping at her. "What the... that digital signal we were trying to track is getting bigger!" She thumbs the device over to scanner mode, and squints as the radar style app blips a few times and reads the large spike of energy not far from their position. "Gaonoir, can you sense that?"

The surviving Ursa move off to the sides, but Gaonoir's attention is grabbed by the larger Major pouding towards him, realizing too late that the others moved less to avoid him and more to prevent an easy sidestep of their leader's charge. As the Major lunges Gaonoir grabs the monster's shoulders, but it's size and weight is still enough to slam into him. Feet tear up chunks of the pavement with the recoil and then loose traction completely, and Gaonoir slams backwards through a wall with the behemoth bone-clad bear on top of him. So really the only answer he can give to Erika is "A little preoccupied here!" as the Beast Knight craters against the foundation.

Rubble and dust from the impacted wall toppled down around the two monsters, Gaonoir barely able to hold the large maw back from snapping down on him. "Nnnnh..." His eyes flash and narrow, the 'digital hazard' sigil on the front of his chest armor glowing a bit as he digs into the very energy of the Dark Digitron itself. Abruptly the cloak of darkness erupts from behind him, the Umbra Gaogamon disappearing into the darkness spilling around him as it blasts out to engulf the Ursa Major and pushes it away from where they crashed into the wall.

"TENEBRAE SHROUD!"

Then multiple 'hit flash' slashes flare about the Ursa Major's form from an unseen source, until the engulfing darkness shatters away and Gaonoir is standing just in front of where he crashed into the wall, having slashed at the monster several times with his shadowsteps while it was surrounded in the darkness now swirling back into the depths of his cloak.
Alden Alden grunts as the dark wolves manage to push through and begin rushing at him and Golden, doing his best to smack the beasts away with the barrel of his gun and his free hand!, he is thankfully durable, but that does not mean he enjoys being piled and mauled by big dark beasts!. He tries to keep an eye for the Alpha, even as he moves next to Golden to provide better cover.
The large digimon snarls at the wolves, eyes glowing as he tries to 'tag' the targets, and aim away from the structures if he can, but given his arsenal, he can only minimize the damage. "Garuru burst!" he exclaims, all his weapons firing at once, the gatling sweeping at the middle of the group, while his shoulder gun fires short beams to one side, and the missiles try to blast away the rest. He looks for the 'alpha' of the group, and if he can, he spares his final attack for it, his muzzle opening as he fires a bright blue beam of freezing energy at it.
His assault lasts for a few moments, before he has to stop firing, his gatling gun glowing for several moments, the digimon starting to pant for air. He spots Golden's pixel motes, "Are you ok?" he asks, inching closer.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yang's warning comes as a welcome sign of reprieve on the way, but rather than digging her heels in, she fires up her hover-thrusters with a little extra vertical boost - getting off the ground so that Yang's shockwave can hopefully travel underneath her. At least, that's what Yuna expects to happen. "Thanks Yang!" Yuna shouts to her fellow blonde, batting two more of the 'junior' Beowolves aside so she can go head-to-head with the Alpha.

It's not an entirely fair fight: while the Alpha Beowolf is big and nasty and has really big claws and really sharp teeth, Powered Form gives Yuna a partial reach advantage - and even with the shield mounted on her left exo-arm, that still leaves the right manipulator *totally* free to not only bludgeon, but to grapple if required. So the fight comes down to a lot of maneuvering, probing at each other, and trying to score hits that count; Yuna's still got the Matrix Divider in her actual hands (the manipulator arms can't really wield it) and is able to fire off a few more shots into the Alpha's face, shoulders, and occasionally chest, but the older and bigger Beowolf isn't giving her openings if it can avoid them.

Then Yuna seemingly makes a mistake - a punch goes wide, she's left open, and the Alpha lunges in at her ... only for Yuna to bring both manipulator arms in close, daring to *grapple* the Grimm as she spins around quickly on her hoverthrusters, enduring claws and snapping teeth until she can fire off a charged blast with the Matrix Divider at point-blank range ...

And as the tossed-and-blasted Alpha Beowolf comes down - thankfully with nothing behind it (except maybe some more Grimm) - Yuna *FINALLY* fires the beam cannons housed in Powered Form's outer shoulders. That should finish the Alpha off, and Yuna takes a moment to look around for any additional Grimm she needs to pitch in with.
Deelel Deelel Ltakes out the last of the Grimm she's realding with and she'll end up flooring it on her light cycle, the walls she created will not last forever and she's already mapping out her route to catch up with the very nasty grimm? Or is it something elss she's now heading to lend Yuna a hand with the alpha her light cycle can be heard. Deelel woulf be moving to support Yang and Yuna and she's going to darn well starty to run down the Beowolves with her bike even adding light walls to the mix for short periods.

"GET GLITCHED!"

Is all Deelel has to say about. She'll then try to bring her bike around and ramp off one of the Beowulves...
Yang Xiao Long     Gaonoir manages to knock back the Ursa Major, the large beast slashed and weakened, but still alive. It gets back up after the multi strike attack, and growls low, its red eyes flaring balefully. The remaining Ursa rush in, as the Major rears up onto its back legs, lumbering forwards a step, before it clasps its forepoaws together, and SLAMS them down into the ground, causing pillars of rubble and rebar to erupt in the direction of the black digibeast.

Deelel comes rushing in, flattening a Beowolf under the light tread of her cycle, while Yang continues to dance and weave through the other Beowolves. Yuna's assault on the Alpha goes about as well as it could, the beast leaving deep score marks in the exo arms of Powered Form, but is eventually blown away by the Matrix Divider, and the Beam Cannons, the body evaporating in the light of the weapons, nothing remaining to hit the ground. The rest of the Grimm attacking the Orphanage are already on the ropes.

Golden and Alden seem really hard pressed. The Grimm in the shanty are bigger and tougher. No alpha, but each of these seem much older than any of the others, like an elite group searching for whatever stopped the last group in its tracks. They seem to know Golden is weakening, and some of the Grimm break off from attacking Alden to pile onto the weaker defender.
Gaonoir The minor break in their offense is an oppritunity Gaonoir seizes, darting back to where Erika is standing. "We need a better vantage point." The first Ursa to rush gets intercepted with a quick hook punch, followed by a kick to topple it into the path of the other. Then turns and scoops his Tamer into one arm and leap in into the air just as the Major ground pounds the hell out of the pavement. Upheaved rips through where they stood moments before, and slams into Erika's scooter. The little vehicle can't take the assault and crumples as it's launched across the street. Looks like she's going to have to either find something else, or let Gaonoir fly her around more.

Later. Right now she's too busy watching where the scanner was reading as the skyward leap lets her see over the rooftops. "Over there! There's the digital spike... Alden and Golden, too."

"Then we need to put an end to this so we can help them." Which feels really weird still for Gaonoir to say, to help someone, but now is not the time to reflect on it. He focuses on the Ursas and their Major below, tracking sensors in his helmet locking onto their position. There's a hiss and some steam puffing out as the from of his armor ratchets open, giving it all the more appearance to a large opening maw.

"Lunar..." Motes of purple and red start to shimmer as they build within the chamber opening. "Eclipse... Crackling blackness swirls into the mix as it fills the opening, snapping outward like little arcs of black lightning as energy is drawn from the deepest parts of Gaonoir's Dark Digitron core.

"CANNON!" Then the MASSIVE blast of purple and black energy roars from the maw-like weapon, beam expanding to several times the size of the opening it came out of as it screams through the air, hurtling down towards the monsters like an orbital laser strike. It's aimed at the Major, but the sheer size and intensity of the ultimate attack will hopefully catch the other remaining Ursa in the blast as well.
Golden     The girl glances back and sees that the rest of her friends have managed to escape. She turns towards the battle between the grimm, Alden, and Golden, unsure what to do, clutching the digivice in a hand.
Golden is knocked down by a barrage of beowulf claws and sent skidding across the cement past Alden, downed. Ashley reacts to this by running forward, waving the digivice trying to keep the grimm away from Alden and Golden. This simple act of courage causes the Crest to react.
The frantically moving motes around him finally sink into the digimon's form, causing him to glow. Around him a ring of digimon script appears as the long-standing damage to his digicore is finally repaired by the digivice and crest it contains. The digimon gets up in the evolution he should have been all along; the human-sized dragon-man, with blue scales and a white belly. The wings unfurl as he unleashes a blood-curdling roar of challenge to the beowolves. "Let's get 'em, Alden!"
Deelel Deelel finds thar her light cycle is doing a hell of a number on things she banish her bike as it turns into wirefram, then liught and she grabs the baton which then extend sinto a staff which now has powered ends. Deelel keeps on the ttack now with the remaining GRIMM quite happy to take them down.

"I have had enough of this, worthless people, eating GRID BUGS!"

She'll then strt to show people why yes staves are a nasty weapon.
Alden The metal garurumon growls and rushes to smack at the wolves, pushing the beasts away from his friend, the only weapon firing on him being the shoulder laser, it is a piercing kind of beam, so it might work at least somewhat on teh large beasts!. He mumbles, glancing down at his gun, which seems to be cooling off quickly, "Be careful!" he tells the human girl.
The evolution from his friend gets a grin from the digimon, who calls outloud, "Katze!, reload!" There is a flash of light on his weapons, the minigun starting to spin again, despite not having cooled off fully, "Of course!". He pretty much repeats the same display from before, focusing the attack on less targets!. The gatling gun is glowing red by the time he forces it to stop, ammo or not, he might need to wait a little longer before using it again.
Yuna Kagurazaka The battle around the orphanage is down to more or less a mopping-up action by now; Yuna waves to the incoming Deelel, then turns her attention to helping finish off the stragglers. She's moderately preoccupied by an emphasis on getting back to Yang - even if Yang jumped in willingly and is fully capable of taking care of herself in the face of that many Beowolves, Yuna is still protective of her friends.

And then something happens which makes the dual beam cannons Yuna fired earlier look relatively tame. THAT distracts the idol-turned-guardian for a split second, a segment of time within which one Beowolf tries to pounce upon Yuna ... and is summarily grabbed by the right exo-arm before Yuna focuses power into the Divider and blows the Beowolf away with one powerful shot.

She pays considerably closer attention to her share of the mopping-up after that.
Yang Xiao Long     Gaonoir's assault scours the Grimm away, the Ursa Major bellowing in defiance, even as its body is burned away in the umbral energy. A big old furrow is also scoured away, but the City can repair that easily enough. This leaves Gaonoir free to move, the Factory is secure.

Golden's transformation catches the Beowolves off guard. They recoil a bit, scittering around the pair of Digimon with low snarls. These ones aren't smart enough to flee to live another day, but there's not many left. Alden manages to thin the group even more, only about six remain standing after the gattling gun finishes its cycle.

Deelel smacks some Beowolves around, shattering one on the apex of her staff, staggering another who gets a shotgauntlets to the side of the head. "CitySEC, we're nearly done here, sweep and secure, there might be some hiding in the alleyways." Yang calls in on her Scroll, only to get blind sided by a remaining Beowolf. She goes through the side of a building, thankfully not followed by her attacker as it's accosted by Yuna finishing off the Alpha, and Deelel.
Gaonoir Gaonoir lands on a rooftop and, after making sure that roar was in death and not some twisted survival, turns and leaps off again in the direction of the remaining confrontation. Though even his eyes widen a bit at what plays out in the street below them. "Wait.. did he... but he was so broken.."

Erika wiggles a bit in his hold to get a better angle with the D-Port, framing it in for a picture. Though the snap of the smartphone camera also triggers the digivice's scanning function, and a moment later a stock image of the blue dragon appears on the screen.

"Aero V-dramon. A Perfect level Holy Dragon digimon." Erika lets out a whistle. "Is there a reason it seems like 50% of Digimon are a 'dragon' of some kind?"

Gaonoir snorts in return as he lands. "The number is askew. A lot of saurian digimon are classified as 'dragon' even if they're not technically a dragon. Or if they're just dragon-like, like a wyvern."
Golden     The dragon digimon swipes at the beowolves with those vicious claws, going for the ones that Alden hadn't gunned down. Taking to the air he unleashes a pair of v-shaped energy blasts from the red folds of his wings. Then a swooping raking attack upon the grimm. Flight! Once more! Freedom in three dimensions!
The girl, Ashley, looks at the digivice, looks at the changed Golden, looks at the great beast that Alden is. "What in the world did I get myself into?"
Deelel Deelel is able to see they seem to have got most grimm. With Yang saved and the alpha downed? She takes a moment to look for a moment. "It's good to see your all right." She grins for a moment with an interesting look on her face. "Good to see we didn't lose anyone I think that's the last of them?"
Yuna Kagurazaka Sure enough, when Yuna spots Yang getting smacked through a wall, she wastes no time in blowing away the Beowolf that did it.

... okay, she MIGHT spend a half-second or so more to charge up for the shot with which she blows the Beowolf away than she technically needs to. But that's not 'wasting' time, that's 'investing' it in a certain kill on the Grimm.

Are they out of creatures of Grimm to mop up yet? CitySEC is certainly capable of doing their job under normal circumstances, and on one level, Yuna knows it. But on a deeper level? This is personal for her. If Elner can still pick up concentrations of Grimm in the local area, Yuna's getting location data and heading off to either deal with them, or at least support the security personnel in doing so.
Yang Xiao Long     The incursion seems to be under control. Just a few scattered signals on Elner's scanner, CitySEC is already moving in to contain and destroy. There's been a few casualties, but far far fewer than if the response wasn't so profound, or rapid. Golden's slashes and attacks vaporize the remaining Beowolves, leaving the area clear and secure as CitySEC move in to secure survivors and get the wounded to the medics.
Gaonoir Once Gaonoir sets her on the ground Erika bounds over to the confused girl. "They're called Digimon. And by the look of it you've lucked into becoming one's partner. Just like me~" She holds up her own digivice for Ashley to see, though hers looks more like a smartphone in design.

"Another Tamer. Huh." All the expenditure of energy finally catchs up to him, and Gaonoir flops to the ground on his rump in his base form again. "Bet that cranky old mainframe never saw that coming."
Golden     As for Golden, he too devolves from an Aero Veedramon to a lesser form, shedding data as he does so. It reveals a small blue dragon-like digimon, with a yellow V between red eyes. Golden looks at himself. "... It's been a very very long time since I was a veemon. I think Yggdrasil hadn't even set up the Districts yet..." He glances at Erika and Ashley, sauntering over.
Ashley's still kind of in a daze about the whole thing. "T-tamer? What?" Clearly Erika and Gaonoir are going to have to explain things to Golden and Ashley...
