Toph Beifong     So Sokka wants to be a stallion? Fine, why not drag him with to Ponyville and get some stuff done?

Toph leads the way into Ponyville, trotting along. It's been a while since she was here last, but she still seems to remember how to walk on four legs. Being a pony is rather strange, but whatever. It's part of the deal coming here, and it will only last while they are here. So Sokka better be used to seeing Toph as a light yellow pony as she heads on towards Rarity's boutique, her satchel hanging around her neck. Either way she doesn't seem bothered by the way he is now, she's been here with many other humans who have been ponies before.

"Keep up, Meat Head! Rarity's shop is straight ahead!" she calls back to him.
Sokka Sokka had since mastered the art of walked! Okay, sure, it had been hit and miss at first. and he'd somehow managed to slam into Toph like five times already, as well as accidentally take out a cabbage cart. But, for the most part, he now had it! He was walking a bit clumsy and awkwardly, but he was walking!

Unfortunately, he uhhh... "I really don't like this," he grouched.

Why? Because he was bucking neon blue. He almost GLOWED IN THE BLOODY DARK. It was NOT a very warrior like appearance. And of course he was an earth pony. How was he supposed to be awesome and cool looking when he glowed in the dark? He was willing to bet there were NO awesome blue ponies. Not a single one.

Still, by the time they made it to Rarity's he was walking decently fast paced. "So, can you bend like this? And wow my jaw feels weird. you know what? Magic is weird. I'm just saying that now. All magics. Why did I let you talk me into this?" HER TALK HIM INTO IT?!
Rarity The loud grumbling is hard to miss as it approached the circular building with a definate carasoul design to the appearance... Let's face it, Rarity's boutique is one of the flashiest structures in the otherwise rustic looking Ponyville. Sticks out like a sore.. uh.. well it's intentional to draw attention, of course. "Goodness, somepony does not sound very happy," Rarity murmurs as she opens the door to look outside and see who or what is causing all the fuss.
Toph Beifong     It was a good thing that Toph is steady, and she's ready to nudge Sokka back on his hooves. "Hey, you were the one who wanted to be a stallion!" she grins with amusement.

"And of course I can bend like this. Your jaw might feel weird since we both have plant eating teeth now. Ponies don't eat meat after all, so... It's not exactly magic, it's multiversal stuff, deal with it. We're not going to stay long here if you don't want to." Toph states as she continues onwards. "For that matter, I did not talk you into this, /you/ wanted to come along and be a fourlegged stud!" she teases.

And there's Rarity! Perfect! "Oh, he likes to whine a lot, don't worry about it. I'll make sure he gets some meat when we're human again, and he'll be happy. So... I brought some belated gifts for the girls! Are they still around, or did they run off?" Toph asks with a smirk.
Sokka Sokka shuddered. "No meat. I only agreed to eat a salad because I thought there'd be a friend suffering otherwise. Why, why have I agreed to this? And I thought it'd be fun! I didn't realize I'd lose meat!" He lamented his fatte.

And then Rarity. "Oh, hey, fashion pony! Long time no see. This your place?" He leaneed forward to hold his hoof out for a shake. And lost his balance, toppling forward. He managed to slam, head first, into the ground, topple over and flip fully, landing on his back with a whimper. ".... I hate being a pony."
Yuna Kagurazaka "You'll get used to it if you spend enough time here," another voice says from behind Toph and Sokka. The speaker is a white unicorn mare (filly?) with a blonde mane and a gold horn; the two might have spotted her earlier, chatting with Lyra and Octavia a little distance away.

Sokka probably won't recognize the newly-arriving unicorn; Toph might not either, but the unicorn's flank mark is pretty distinctive - something resembling a high-tech faerie or sprite, white and blue and gold.
Rarity Rarity smiles at seeing at least one familiar face in Toph's pony form. "Hello there, dahlings." But that makes it pretty easy to guess who the brightly colored stallion is with her though. "To what do I owe the occassion? Social visit or are you looking for more items to festoon the new addition to the family with?" Though after that she hmms thoughtfully. "Actually, I hadn't considered baby fashion yet..."

As if to answer Toph a trio of fillies stick their heads out of an upstairs window. "Hello Toph!" "Didn't know y'all were comin' for a visit." Scootaloo on the other hoof snickers as Sokka topples over. "Looks like somepony has four left hooves!" Sweetie Belle reachs over to give her a swat. "That only applies to dancing!" Scootaloo shoves back. "I'll apply it to whatever I wa--oops!"

Cue all three tumbling out of the window as Applebloom gets caught in the middle of the shoving, landing on the awning overhead and sending snow cascading off in multiple directions.
Toph Beifong     When Sokka moves to shake hooves with Rarity, the blind pony arches an eyebrow right before he falls down. And once he's fallen she stomps the ground. And he will get proof that Toph can still earthbend as a pony as the ground shifts, pushing him up. "Just make sure to keep three hooves on the ground at the same time, mind your balance."

The voice is familiar enough, and Toph turns her head before offering a smile in Yuna's direction. "Heya, Songstress! You're here to visit too?" It's been a while since she has met her, but it's always a pleasant meeting.

And there are the little fillies! Toph grins, lowering her head a little. "Heya girls! I gotta admit, I forgot to deliver your gifts." As for Sokka? "Eh, it's his first time as a pony, cut him some slack. OKAY, line up!" With that Toph lowers her head so she can slide the satchel off and begin digging around in it with her face. And after a few seconds she pulls out three matching leather folders that are practically begging to be opened. And if they do... they will find matching metal badges inside with three ponies on them.
Sokka Sokka stared up at the roof. "I don't think that's a good idea. I--" And, because the universe hates him, the thump from up above sends a pile of snow flying down onto his head. He lays there, buried in snow for a few moments. They could even hear the sigh of resignation. Not annoyance. Not anger. Just resignation. This was him. This was his life. Beingburied in snow, falling flat on his face.

He burst out a moment later, shaking the snow from his body and glowering. "FINE! YOU KNOW THAT?! BRING IT ON NATURE! HIT ME WITH A TORNADO FOR ALL I CARE! I'VE HAD WORSE!" he roared, shaking a fist at the heavens. For a moment nothing happened and he took a step. "That's what i--" A second snow drift buried him a moment later. "... Gosh... darn... nature... But I probably deserved that one."
Yuna Kagurazaka "Let's not taunt the weather ponies, shall we?" Yuna says wryly, trying to help brush some of the snow off of Sokka. "I don't think we've met yet, certainly not in this form. I'm Yuna Kagurazaka, idol singer, formerly of the Union."

She'd offer Sokka some help getting back on his feet, but starting from when he's flat on his back, she's not *quite* sure of the best way to go about it. So she answers Toph, "Actually, I was going to see if Rarity's schedule has cleared up enough for me to commission a couple of things ... two for concerts, possibly one for pers--"

She leaps to one side just before another clomp of snow falls off, on top of where she'd been standing. "I forget, Rarity, who brings the good ponies presents on Hearthswarming Eve?"
Rarity Rarity scoots back from Sokka as she hears the touble overhead. To be fair she was only backing up because she knew snow was incoming just because it's the trio, that it happened to fall mainly on Sokka is just... coincidence. "Sokka, dahling, cussing at nature will do you no good here... As it is the weather is controlled by teams of pegasi. So if a certain somepony hears your challenge..."

She does stop to look up for a moment, but there's no sign of a certain cerulean pegasus.

Then back to the others when Yuna mentions needing more work done. "You're in luck dahling, it is still the post-holiday lull. And we usually have large social gatherings for exchanging gifts, in rememberance of the original gathering that first chased away the Windigos."

It takes a bit of climbing to get down from the awning, but the trio just make use of the second Sokka snowpile to slide down to the ground, and gather around the metalbender to collect the folders. "Thanks Toph!" is squealed in unison.
Toph Beifong     "What the others aid," Toph adds to Sokka. "Pegasuses are in charge of the weather here, it works kinda different."

If there's somebody you want to commission for things, it's Rarity. "You should have seen the plush she made for my baby brother," she grins. "I might have to ask you to make some baby clothes later for him, I think dad and mom would appreciate that." In all of this she doesn't seem to be bothered with Sokka, though she does kick the ground to clear some snow away from him. "At least you're used to snow, right?" she points out, then turns back to the three fillies. "Now you have official Cutie Mark Crusader badges! I didn't really know what else to get you three..." And Toph does like them, considering they have been to most of her birthday parties and all.
Sokka Sokka sighs and crawls free, shaking the snow from his mane. At least he couldn't get any bluer, as he sighed and moved up against Toph, grinning at her. "Your warmth. I must steal it. My weak, pony body is not made for dealing with this cold as my normal body is." He paused and glanced down. "Or maybe it's the fact I'm not wearing anything. I could really use a jacket about now... how do you ponies do this..." granted, most probably WERE wearing jackets and such.
Rarity Interestingly enough you're likely to see Ponies in hats and scarves and even boots, but not jackets. Then again, they are more accustomed to being like this in middle of winter. Rarity of course is wearing a jacket, but one look gives the impression it's more for the style than concern for warmth.

The trio give Toph a hug in unison, before scurrying off inside with their new prizes. "And try not to knock anything o--" Something can be heard falling over in their rush. "--anything -else- over. Or--" Cat screech. Rarity facehooves. "--step on Opal again," she sighs in defeat.
Yuna Kagurazaka "Being adapted to it naturally probably helps," Yuna answers Sokka. "I mean, what do ... oh, badgermoles do when winter hits in your world? They have fur of some kind, I'm sure, but beyond that they just burrow into the ground or something, right?"

This may have been a bad example.
Toph Beifong     Hey, what is he doing? When Sokka pulls up next to her, Toph blinks, her cheeks turning a slight shade of pink. "You wimp," she snorts, though she does bump her head against his briefly. "Rarity does make clothes for ponies, so you /could/ get something to wear for winter here," she points out.

She doesn't stop the little fillies from giving her hugs either, grinning down at them. "Enjoy!" And beware, it sounds like. The noises from inside does make Toph snicker a bit. "You got your hooves full, huh?" she asks Rarity.

Yuna does ask a relevant question, and Toph shrugs. "Eh, they hibernate in the areas where it does snow. In Gaoling we don't get much snow at all, so they don't hibernate. There's still stuff for them to eat all around."
Sokka Sokka blinked a fewtimes. "I'm from the southern tribes. I am not burrowing under the ground. In times like this, we would go inside and huddle in a giant pile of warmth." He paused. "ThoughI have discovered that some people find that odd. Toph doesn't mind, though."

He then smiles to Rarity. "Okay then, Rarity! Can you make me a cut that not only shows my masculine side, but has to go with my coa and mane. Also, ummmmm... has to keep me warm. That's important too.
Star Caster     Looks like it's a pony party in Ponyville! ... At the boutique, specifically. All the noise is enough to attract attention from a return visitor as he makes his way slowly down the snowlaide paths of Ponyville. His own approach is heralded by the sound of bells in two-step time; the clarion chime of his hooves as they occasionally hit rough patches of earth, muted by the snow on occasion.

Star Caster walks carefully along toward the boutique; the young unicorn knight has his winter armor on today; and more - a thick winter cloak trails him, of royal purple, and upon his (silver! oo upgrade!) breastplate is the emblem of Lunaria itself; it matches his shield, beating a sun of gold being eclipsed by a silver moon. He approaches the small group otherwise quietly; carrying a large basket on one arm, and in the other arm, what appears to be a carefully wrapped cluster of flowers;, yet unseen for being covered. He stops, wide-eyed, just shy of the boutique, taking in the many ponies there, then politely clears his throat. "Ah-. M'Lady Rarity, am I, interrupting something?"
Rarity "As for baby clothes Toph, perhaps once he is old enough he won't immeadiately outgrow it? I understand human foals grow rather rapidly at first." Rarity cups a forehoof to her chin as she regards Sokka for a moment. Snorts softly. "At least you are not green." What's green got to do with anything? Maybe it's a difficult color to work with? "Hello, Star Caster. Wait just one moment, dahlings." Though Rarity has hurried inside before anyone can ask about the green thing.
Yuna Kagurazaka A new challenger* has appeared, and this time, it's somebody Yuna's never met. She turns to regard the approaching knight, and ducks her head in a polite gesture akin to a bow. "Good evening!" she greets him, taking a better look as she lifts her head again. "Star Caster ... that's what Rarity called you? It's a pleasure to meet you; I'm Yuna." She bows again -

And then she has to fumble to keep her scarf from falling loose and sliding off of her completely. A native Equestrian unicorn could probably have gotten the scarf more securely into place to start with; Yuna has to fumble about, trying to sling it into place with her hooves and *without* losing her balance.
Toph Beifong     Oh yes, Toph is blushing when Sokka comments that she doesn't mind huddling up.

The new arrival does catch the blind teenager by surprise a bit, and she turns her head a bit in his direction. Who's this? "I don't think you're interrupting anything, no." It's not like they're talking about anything private, after all. Star Caster, huh?

The unicorn makes a fair point, and Toph nods. "Gotchya, I'll give you some measurements to work with later once he doesn't grow quite so quickly!" And then Rarity rushes inside, leaving the others to wait. And well, might as well get to know this newcomer. "I'm Toph Beifong, this is Sokka," she says nodding towards the blue stallion standing next to her.
Sokka Sokka nodded, posing dramatically. "Southern water tribe warrior, a pleasure to make your--" His pose ended badly as he hit an ice patch, fell forward and BAM! Head butted Rarity's house. And, would you believe it? A third snow drift. well, you know what they say. Three times and it's not a coincidence.

"Universe just looooooves shoving me around, doesn't it?" he asked noone in particular, before his head popped out of the snow. "Nice to meet you. So, Toph. Let's go somewhere that's... not icy soon, okay? Like somewhere inside." The roof would probably cave and dump ice on him.
Star Caster     Star blinks at Yuna, and nods; he doesn't seem to realize the difference between non-Equestrians and regular; despite the fact that he's a bloody well unicorn walking on two legs and bearing actual hands! He smiles: "Greetings, M'lady Yuna. Yes, I'm Star Caster." He uhms, shifting his bundles about in his arms, "I would bow as is required of a knight meeting a lady but I brought gifts for Miss Rarity and I am not sure where to set them.." he says, confused. He shrugs sheepishly. "It is a pleasure to meet you! I hope the winter is not being too harsh here in Equestria?"

He turns his attention then to Toph and Sokka, and offers them both a curious smile as well- "Greetings, M'lady Toph, Master Sokka." He uhms. And again justles his parcels a bit. With a sheepish grin he adds, "Nan never told me what I was supposed to do when greeting people with my arms full!" with humor in his voice. "I was unsure, you all seem to be quite busy, and I'm still getting used to the outside cultures." he says. "That's why I'm here; the Queen wishes me to bring those I have met gifts for this past Holy Day so that we can forge proper alliances."
Rarity Rarity trots back out of her shop, and just blinks a moment at Sokka again being half buried in snow. "Keep this up Sokka, and Ditzy Doo is going to have compatition for most snowbanks fallen into this year." Gentle teasing asside, she magically tosses a dark blue jacket and matching scarf to Sokka. "This should tide over keeping you warm, dahling."
Toph Beifong     Man, it seems Sokka has extra bad luck today. "As I said before, you make it too easy for the universe," Toph sighs, then helps him up again and out of the snow. "Let's head inside once Rarity returns."

How do you greet people with your hands full? "You can always give a polite nod," she suggests. "So you're here to make friends, is that it? I dunno who your queen is, but eh, as long as people play nice."

So there Sokka gets some clothes. "Now you don't have to freeze!"
Sokka Sokka stared at the clothing and... well... "Errrr..." He lifted a hoof nervously. ".... How... in the world do I put it on? I don't even have fingers. Or hands. Or really much of anything." Pause. "Actually, wait, how do you ponies even build houses? Do the unicorns do all of that here?" he asked, looking around in confusion.

"Yeah, I don't know WHY the universe hates me so much today! Did it decide now that I've got a girl friend, it's sokka season? I swear it's like being at the north tribe all over again."
Yuna Kagurazaka Now that, Yuna can help answer.

"It's a joint effort, really," she explains to Sokka. "Earth ponies help bring supplies and do a fair amount of the heavy lifting, unicorns help with fine adjustments, pegasi pitch in with the upper floors and roofs. Plus, there are ponies whose unique talents let them help with specific parts of building work."

Yuna grins, a little sheepishly. "I got to see it in action while my cottage was being built ..."
Star Caster     As Rarity reappears Star ah-hahs! "M'lady Rarity!" He dips his head, then steps foreward, before casually setting down the basket before her: "This is a gift from Queen White Snow, as we have recently celebrated the Holy Day." He says. Should she look inside, she would find several yards, folded neatly, of a cloth woven with what appears to be threads of fine spun silver. And then he clears his throat, and adds, sheepishly, "And then my mother suggested as long as I was bringing you some Starsilk from the Queen, I should bring you some snow flowers," he says, before unwrapping the bouquet in hand, and offering it to her; blossoms of white and blue that seem to be covered in fine sparkling dust.

He seems quite embaressed, the poor boy, blushing slightly in his pale furred complexion. Then he looks to Toph and Sokka, and offers, "I could try to heat things up? I'm supposed to practice my sun magic.." he grins nervously: "Of course the last time I tried, I set my friend Moon Prism's tail on fire. You'd think he'd be used to it, though, he's a dragon for goodness sakes.." He then pauses, and listens, head canted, to the explaination of how these four-legged ponies do their work, his own ears pricked at attention.
Rarity "You put one foreleg in one sleeve, the do the same with the other. It's not really any different from normal for you... though instead of standing you may want to just sit on your haunches for stability." It is hardly the first time Rarity has had to give an explaination for this seemingly simple thing.

But Star Caster quickly steals her attention away when he presents his basket and the flowers. "Holy Da--Oh, you must have something akin to Hearths Warming. Or.. what does most of the Multiverse call it... Christmas?" She looks at Yuna for a moment to confirm, before opening the basket far enough to see. "... Queen Snow has quite the taste I see~" Exotic materials, always a win. "... And I will have to put these up where no pony mistakes them for a snack." She's talking about the flowers. It may be a joke. Maybe. They do serve some kinds of flowers at the cafe...
Toph Beifong     That theory of Sokka's makes Toph snorts. "As if that is likely..." Though she does look a bit curious when Yuna says she has a cottage. "Wait, you live here?" Do non-ponies move here? Well, it's a nice place, nothing about that, but... wouldn't it be weird being a pony all the time when you weren't born as one?

Somehow she seems to think that something is amusing when Star Caster presents his gifts to Rarity, as she's grinning slightly.

The offer for him to turn up some heat makes Toph shake her head. "It's fine. It's not too cold here," not when you've been to the South Pole. "Though if we're going to stay here for longer we might wanna go inside before more snow falls on Meat Head here," she says, gesturing towards Sokka.
Sokka Sokka nods and looks between the two ponies for a moment. The real ponies. And... "Oh! So you must be Rarity's boy friend, right? Or would it be stallion friend? The ponies have weird names..."

He then proceeds to try getting the garments on. Not an easy task. Honestly, there were mornings he couldn't even get his normal shirt on. And that was with HANDS. Without them? It was borderline impossible! She they got to watch him hop about and do a bit of a dance as he struggled to get into the jacket, eventually managing to get completely tangled and roll around on the ground. "Gosh darn hooves! Yes, going inside is a good idea!"
Star Caster     Star nods to Rarity, and then murmurs, "I shall tell Queen White Snow that you approve, then," he says, and NOW he gives his flourishing bow, sweeping his cloak about him and back as he dips slightly on one leg. He then stands upright again, then looks to Sokka and Toph; "I think your friends would like to go inside, M'Lady Rarity, to warm up. I would create a fire out here for such purposes but as I said, I am not very skilled at it uhm, yet." He grins sheepishly, running his hand against the back of his head.

He looks at Toph funnily at the 'Meat Head' comment, then decides maybe it's a thing these two .. do. He mentally shrugs. Then he offers, "As long as you are alright, M'Lady Toph, Master Sokka." He smiles warmly! ... Kid means well but is easily confused, yup. And. Then. Oh. Dear.

"B-Boyfriend?! I! Uhm! N-No, Uh!" Star splutters and squeaks, waving his hands in surprise as he steps back a moment, "N-No, I'm not her boyfriend, it would be wrong of me to court a lady of her stature, for I am just a knight, and she is c-clearly a mare of high standing! It would be-be-be discourteous to her to even presume!" He squeaks. And oh goodness has his face turned pink with embaressment as he stammers.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna grins, maybe a bit abashedly. "Well, I've been involved with Equestria since it Unified, and there was a point where this was one of the most convenient places for me to live. It's ironic - my own home's a lot closer to the parts of the Multiverse that I deal with now, but a piece of my heart still calls Ponyville 'home'. I love this place so much ..."

There's a faintly wistful tone to her voice as she trails off. "Anyway. Good to see you, Toph, Sokka, Rarity ... and it's a pleasure to meet you, Star Caster." She ducks her head briefly to the rest of the group, shrugs to keep her scarf from falling off again. "I'd better head home for the night. ... Rarity, I'll drop by again sometime soon, okay? Good to know you're getting some downtime."

And with that, she trots off towards her cottage.
Staren     The telltale beam of light descends from the sky in the direction of the library. Several moments later, a white unicorn stallion with a wild brown mane -- and, probably to Sokka's consternation, a white cloak and coat, and sea green scarf -- trots over. "Oh, good evening Rarity! What's going on here so late at night?" He nods to the CMC and Star Caster as well, and squints at Toph a moment. "Toph?" And then looks at the blue pony curiously. "Who's your friend?"

The voice is recognizably Staren's, at least.
Rarity Rarity was going to use her magic to try and help Sokka, but ends up sputtering about just as much when Star Caster is called her boyfriend. She, however, quickly recovers. "Now now, as flattering as that may be, seeing as he is a prince and all, just because he is being gentlecoltly in giving me several likely expensive gifts from his home land does not a boyfriend make... You would not want someone presuming simply because you gave something to Toph that she was your girlfriend after all, would you?" Turnabout is fair play, apparently.

That and she knows that it will get a reaction out of TOPH regardless of what Sokka thinks of it.

"Later Yuna, it was nice seeing you sometime other than the fields of defending love and freedome for a change! And hello Staren." So a wave goodbye also becomes a wave hello.
Toph Beifong     It's a bit evident that Sokka isn't used to being a pony, huh? And well, she /could/ help him, but... where's the fun in that? Instead Toph stands still, just observing. Though she does arch an eyebrow when he calls Star Caster that particular term in relation to Rarity. And then it's Star Caster's reaction too...

Toph punches Sokka a bit in the shoulder, then gestures to Star Caster. "THAT should be familiar to you, Snoozles. And it's kinda ironic that you notice this in others and not when it's in matters that actually concern /you/!" Oh yes, she can joke about that now. But don't worry Star Caster, the wise Toph Beifong has some words for you too. "Dunderhead, listen here. Some girls don't give a crud whether you're of the same standing or not. Do all you boys worry about that or something?" she snorts. Seriously!

That does make a lot of sense when Yuna explains it like that. "Eh, I can see why. It's a nice place." And the ponies are /nice/. Even the ponies who were in the Confederacy were mostly nice with only a few exceptions. Oh, she's leaving? Toph isn't one to argue about it, instead she nods her head. "Take care, Yuna! Catch you later!" Instead they get another pony to talk with, as the familiar voice of Staren can be heard. "Heya!" If there was any doubt besides her being a blind pony with that familiar hairbun, as well as a metallic ore as her cutie mark, then Toph's voice should be easily recognised. "This is Sokka, you heard him on the Union radio didn't you? He wanted to be a stallion, so I brought him with me here to visit. Sokka, this is Staren."

Strangely enough Rarity's comment doesn't get THAT large a reaction from Toph, who merely blushes slightly where she stands next to Sokka.
Sokka Sokka groans and then sits up, rubbing his nose and looking around. "Huh? Oh, right. I guess they don't know yet, huh?" He then blinked. "H-hey, standings are really, really hard to get around, you know? It's kind of hard to hit on a girl when she's like, super out of your league. Practically a star compared to you and stuff," he mumbled. Then glanced to Rarity. "Well, considering Toph and I are dating now... turned out, all she had to do was tell me." Pause. "And kiss me. And then wait for me to stop panicking." he coughed sheepishly. "But hey, if you two are just friends, that's cool! I was just reading into things, I guess."

Then looked over. "Hey, staren! Long time no see! I... never thought I'd see you as a pony. Heh. And yeah, I know, I'll be coming by for those gun lessons eventually."
Star Caster     And then Rarity speaks. And Star's eyes widen. *squeak*. "... P-Please d-don't mention the P-Word, I don't- I'm not- That's not who I am!" he squeaks quietly a bit again, now even more flustered. He beginms looking about seemingly frantic, and worried. Swallows noisily, then 'Hah Hah hahs!" Loudly. "Oh Rarity! You're such a kidder, how could I be a Prince!" Says the unicorn in ROYAL ARMOR baring the ROYAL SHIELD.

Yeah, Star is fooling NO ONE, not at present.

When Toph gives him VERY solid advice, he turns an odd shade of embaressed, and then remarks, quieter, "... I H-Have to worry, because of... reasons." He takes a deep breath, and leaves it at that, obviously unwilling to say further, evidenced by him turning to Rarity then: "M'Lady, I hope you enjoy the Starsilk, and the Snow Flowers. I will t-take your appriciation to Queen White Snow. If you would like any other fabrics, please l-let us know. B-But I must be going now." He bows to her with a full flourish, then turns to Toph and Sokka with a similar bow. "I-It was a pleasure to meet you both." He turns to walk away-- but oh goodness is hw now brooding on something.
Rarity Rarity blinks a few times. "... If he is trying to not be obvious about it, I am -definately- going to need to give him a few pointers about dressing down...."
Staren     Staren lowers his head and neck closer to Sokka's level since he's on the ground, then tilts it as Sokka explains they're dating now. "I don't think any of that matters. You just tell someone how you feel and see where it goes." he smiles. "Congratulations! I'm happy for you two!" He extends a hoof to help pull Sokka up... somehow. He may not be very dextrous with them, but he ahs at least learned how to grip with them... somehow.

He gives Sokka a slightly confused look when the man says he never expected to see Staren as a pony. "...So. How've you been since the Multiverse rearranged itself?"

Star Caster also gets a wave. "Oh, uh, bye!"
Toph Beifong     For a noble Toph is not really hooked on etiquette, manners and social standings. Why should it matter? Most nobles are snobbish bores. Though Toph does look a bit... bashful when Sokka speaks about girls. And when he does say that they are infact dating. Aaaand then gives more details than he needs to. Which warrants a punch to his side. "You don't have to give /all/ the details!" she protests with a huff.

So why should Star Caster be worried? He's clearly flustered though, and there he goes... Toph sighs. "Yup. He likes you all right," she asides to Rarity.

The congratulations from Staren does earn a slight nod from the blind pony. "Thanks... It was a bit rough to get it through that skull of his."
Sokka Sokka blinked a few times, then looked to Toph. "Please. Please tell me I was never THAT blind. I mean... come on!" He gestures to the two. "I mean, it's clear as day! You'd have to be blind to miss something like that." Paused. "Well, even if you ARE blind." he motioned to Toph. "Exhibit A."

He then blinked. "Oh gosh that was weird. I had this sudden urge to burst into song. That... was mildly horrifying," he gave a shudder. "And I've been mostly good. I've been training with Lloyd and joined the paladins. Oh, and I started college. It's been a blast. I'm learning about all kinds of stuff."
Rarity "His skull is probably as hard as Rainbow Dash's." Rarity glances up for a moment after saying that. The pegasus has probably been napping all day after the snowstorm duty though. Which reminds her. "I should go make sure the girls actually go to sleep at a reasonable time. Take care, dahlings." As she heads back inside Rarity can be heard muttering something about how sleepovers seem to rarely involve any sort of 'sleep'.
Staren     Staren is kind of oblivious to Sokka and Toph's previous relationship -- he wasn't there! He nods as Rarity and the girls head back in, "Goodnight Rarity, goodnight girls!" He looks... slightly sad as Sokka mentions the Paladins. "The paladins, huh? You too? Seems like so many people I know are going there..."
Sokka Sokka nodded. "I mostly went there for the girls, don't worry," he said with a grin. "Toph, to be precise. They're pretty good, you know. The paladins. A bit rough and... up tight. but for the most part they're tough, hard working guy trying their hardest to do what's right. and I think mostly succeeding."
Toph Beifong     "Yes Sokka," Toph sighs, "You /were/ that blind. Blinder than me, which takes a lot." You're lucky that Toph is the stubborn type.

The teenager nods at Rarity though when she declares her need to depart back inside. It is getting late, isn't it? "Sure thing, you go babysit! Hope they behave!" Oh yes, sleepovers seldom involve too much sleeping in Toph's experience. Even if she's only had one slumber party for her previous birthday. It still counts!

She nods in agreement when Sokka talks about the Paladins. "We were headhunted for it. Apparently Stadler thinks there's a cop in me waiting to burst out. It's a bit strict though, and we have Amalthea as our instructor," she adds with a slight grumble. "Oh well, at least we get to enforce the law and beat up bad guys!" The last part is not said without a big grin crossing her lips.
Sokka Sokka nodded. "i guess i was lucky you never gave up. i coulda missed out on the best girlfriend ever. So if the fashionista is going away how about we head home or somewhere... warm. with meat. lots of meat."

He gave a nod. "Strict but fun. you just need to know where to look and how to do it. if you can figure it out the paladins can be a blast. antlers apparently even likes ne."
Staren     Staren quirks an eyebrow as Sokka says he went Paladin for the girls. For a moment, he's not sure how to judge that. Does the League have 'interesting' girls? He can't tell, he only has eyes for Twilight.

Then he realizes Sokka is probably joking. "I see. Doing what's right is certainly hard. I hope that I can influence the League to do it more often than not. Stadler and Amalthea, huh? Can't say I'm surprised... Antlers?"
Toph Beifong     Toph is definitively blushing when Sokka refers to her as the best girlfriend ever. Getting used to dating is a bit weird! It's easier when he mentions wanting to go somewhere warm with meat. "Eh, we could head to Malibu and stop by home if you want?" Toph suggests.

Somehow it looks like Toph is surprised when Staren mentions that he is in the League. "Wait... you're in the /League/? And eh, he calls Stadler for Antlers for some reason..." Toph shrugs. Or tries to, it's a bit difficult when you're a pony.
Sokka Sokka nodded. "Doing right can be tough. fortunately im a natural. Yes. that would be great. cause im cold and wanna cuddle my girlfriend but this body makes it weird."

he glances over. "so what's this league supposed to be? they nice? And antlers suits him!"
Staren     Staren raises his head up again to look at Toph, ears splaying at the way she says that. "...I'm tired of always having to make the world a better place by fighting and killing bad guys. It's my hope that in the League, I can get other members to listen to me and not do bad things, if I can find better ways to achieve their goals. I haven't /really/ gotten to test this hypothesis yet, but..." he sighs. "Like I said, I'm tired of just fighting whatever bad guy is in front of me while it never changes anything in the Multiverse. I'm bad at talking to people, but the League is a place where productivity and logic matter more than politics or just being persuasive... hopefully."

He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for a second, then looks to Sokka. "The League is a group of researchers, crafters, and their hired muscle that seek technological Progress in the multiverse. It's not a charity, though, if they just gave technology to everyone they'd run out of resources. So they have to find a way to make a buck while advancing science and technology and their own understanding of the Multiverse."
Toph Beifong     "Tell me about it, not having hands is weird," Toph says. "But eh, you get used to being a pony now and then, and this is a nice place to visit. Most of the ponies are fun and friendly." With that she turns slightly to Staren. "I guess that's our cue to head off then since Sokka is cold and hungry then..." And it would be kinda cruel to let him starve. The cuddling isn't bad either, she guesses.

"So they're scientists," Toph concludes, preferring the shorter version. "But yeah, I can see where you're coming from. So not the right place for me to be," she adds. Science is not her thing. "Just leave the fighting to us and do your own thing, I guess that's the best since I /love/ fighting! And you got the science stuff down, right?" she grins.

That said though, she nudges Sokka with her head. "We're off then, catch you later Mister Whiskers!"
Staren     Staren nods. "Yeah, but like I said... I'm not going to the League because they're sciencey, it's because I hope that their scienceyness gives me a new way to do good." He looks away. "...There are some pretty bad people in the League. Or at least, people who did terrible things while working in the Confederacy. If it was just about the science, I could never stand to work with them." Then he brightens, and looks back to Toph. "Oh, but imagine if I could get such people to do /good/ deeds with their intellect? How much better for the world that would be than simply killing them, right? Assuming they're even killable..."
Sokka Sokka nodded. "i dont know. a group of scientists could be fun. i mean i might not be up to date on most the science things in thr multiverse but you could create a lot in a group like that. "

He paused. "but you could also hurt a lot of people if theres n restraint or control..."
Staren     Staren nods, gravely. "I'm not going to be able to stop /all/ the bad things that they do. But if I were fighting them, it's not like I could kill them all, either. I just hope that I can make /enough/ change."
Sokka Sokka shrugged. "well if you manage to save a few lives itll be worth it in the end, right? just do your best and make sure you keep trur to yourself and youll be good."
Staren     Staren nods again to Sokka, somewhat less gravely. SORRY POSE SYS, SOMETIMES POSES ARE SHORT.
Toph Beifong     Even as Sokka and Staren continue talking, Toph is already walking away. "If you want that meat and cuddling then you better come along, because I'm freezing my butt off here now!" she calls back to Sokka.
Sokka Sokka blinked and ran after her. Then tripped and head butted her in the butt. "ouch!" face planting to the ground.
Staren     Staren smiles as Sokka runs off. It's good to see his old friend and his new one have found happiness together!
Toph Beifong     "OW! You at least can watch where you're going!" Toph yells, and immediately the sound of earthbending can be heard, though it doesn't look like anything dangerous as the earth shifts to help Sokka back up on his hooves. "And keep your head away from my butt!"
Sokka Sokka blushed. "Trust me toph im trying to keep away from your butt." dont do it. Dont do it! "Butt I needed a soft landing." he did it.

He quickly jogged on ahead with a big grin. "Come o. im starved and cold!"
Toph Beifong     This time it's all Sokka's fault when the ensuing earthbending involves far more earth and added force.

At least he'll get launched a bit closer to where they're headed towards!
Sokka Sokka hit the ground and groaned. "Ugh. Yeah i definetly didn't miss that." He smiled none the less as he got up. "I love you too Tophie."
