Uriel and Qemuel     C-Dome is just as described... but that also means the gate is heavily-guarded and largely secret. Intelligence says it is surrounded by a blocky and guarded building, which means anyone wanting to gate directly into the city will immediately have a fight on their hands, and a lot of noise. It's also kind of in the middle of everything, tucked between two Megablocks of apartments and thus thousands upon thousands of civilians.

The alternative entry is to hit a warpgate in the wastes and just walk in. There are a few small, man-sized entrances to do this with which can be snuck into, but a large group would be noticed, because robotic patrols are all over... and many times accompanied by fleshy loyalists. Any large entry will have to go through one of the larger gates, through the polluted wasteland. These gates are heavily militarized and guarded, and with so many people clustered so tightly, their defenses are nothing to sniff at.

The objective - at least for the Concord - is some distance away from ANY choice, in the massive central tower, at the very top. That is where the current leaders of this city - and thus, this world - are seated and watching everything like lords above everyone. IT's pretty much the stereotypical dystopican situation here.
Haguro <<"Haguro, ready to move. Warpgate in this sector is... Somewhat clear. A few patrols, but we should be able to get around them.">> Haguro whispers over the radio as she emerges from the warpgate in the wastes, peeking around to make sure she's not setting off any alarms before scurrying towards the entrance of the dome proper. She doesn't head in right away, though, instead lingering near the entrance to do a cursory sweep first.

After her last mission ended up with her fighting in far closer quarters than she expected, the ship girl isn't taking any chances today. In addition to the usual scaled down ship armaments attached to her, she's also brought some more modern gear. Namely, a revolver and a steel bat!

It's modern enough, at least. If nothing else, neither's likely to cause too much collateral damage even if she misses. She's taking a quiet approach today to get closer to the gate, although she also seems to be pausing every now and then to mutter quietly. It's almost as if she's psyching herself up for what's to come.
Priscilla     "Unless there is some exceptionally pressing objection, I wouldst advise against making attempt to appeareth right through the center city." Priscilla says into the radio, only mildly attentive to the strange feeling of expecting those listening to heed her words. They aren't the ones she'd particularly wished to say.

As indicated, the wastes outside the dome are polluted and smog addled to the point that the dome's robotic defenders would be the smart choice no matter what, and so it takes some considerable self-control (and a cloth mask packed full of bitter purple moss) to take the warpgates outside of its walls.

"I urge not stealth for fear of inadequacy in thine abilities, but for the larger the spectacle we create, the greater risk of damage there is to the facilities we wish to acquire, to say little of the integrity of the dome itself. It is not important that we remaineth unseen, so much that we art victorious before serious opposition may be brought into effect."

Priscilla hits the field unseen, as is the sensible thing to do, blinking back the sting at her eyes as she slowly surveys the outside entrances from a distance. "Lady Tesla. Thou art a technopath of sorts, yes? What say thee to breaching an entrance, and perhaps compromising its guard, such that a casual approach is plausible. If thou art able to do such, I shalt simultaneously establish a means of egress opposite."
Anne Blakely     "Wait here until my signal," Anne repeats, having little trouble in the polluted air. The words are said to Rupert, who is settled in one of the shadows of the blasted hellscape that is this world's outside. The clockwork dragon rumbles the affirmative, as do the less intelligent copies, a number of smaller 'dragons' present. These are less well-made, and clearly just followers of Rupert, and aren't even well-armed.

"Boring," Penelope complains, even as she and Anne are setting out. This world was of interest to her, or more specifically the League, for a variety of reasons. She's going to at least attempt to slip in undetected through a side door, with Penelope wearing a haggard little cloak. So is she, really, the redhead tugging the hood up to hide. Actually breaking in should be fairly easy, between her telekinetic skills and the potions she has available.

Her goal is not the main tower, though. She cares not what the Concord is doing here, to take over or not. She's headed toward a very well-guarded place of her own interest: the reactor.
Lin Lin emerges from the same warpgate as Priscilla, wearing a full facemask that seems very out of place for someone dressed in clothes straight from a fantasy world and wearing a sword. The Solar was advised to 'use protection' and she took that advice.

And the air out here STILL SMELLS BAD through it.

The first thing she does though, is seek out some cover. A boulder or the like. Something large to hunker behind and use to examine the patrols and seek a way past them...
Tesla Armadia Robotic patrol... robotic patrol... Tesla Armadia has little difficulting in keeping track of the ones moving around near her position. Robots ping off the technopath's senses rather easily. Organics are different, but as they seem to not be without their own robotic patrols, that is easy to calculate for. Avoid the robots and one is most likely to avoid the fleshling 'handlers' as well.

The noxious environment isn't much of an issue, though she's had to run the environmental controls of her armor a little stronger than usual to accomidate for the filthy air. The only thing she is really waiting for is confirmation that they can't just teleport someone directly into the facilities, which comes sure enough. Sounds like they don't want to make too much ruckus at the beginning which is just as well with her. Priscilla has the organization of things well in hand it seems.

"I was hoping you would suggest something like that. Just keep an eye out for any 'handlers', I will be less able to do something about those." That said, Tesla makes another mental ping to check on the moving patrols, then starts towards the indicated entrance. Almost casually so. It attracts less attention that way.

It also does well to conceal just how focused on the matter she is, directing her attention specifically on the guards at the gate. The technopath reaches out with her mind, attempting to push her influence directly into their processing. Take control, instruct no alarms, and make the guards themselves open the gate so they don't have to fiddlefaddle around with trying to hack access.
Uriel and Qemuel     Looks like most are approaching the main gate. Despite the militarization, this city is NOT a fortress. After all, there aren't a lot of armies out there to defend against, just the occasional mutant gang desperate for food, or some outcasts who haven't croaked from the poisonous atmosphere. It would be fine to breathe for a few minutes, even, but weeks of this would kill, and it'll be a nasty smell regardless.

The gate itself is heavily-guarded in the sense of turrets and several guards. Unfortunately for Tesla, only about half are robotic, and the others are humans in environmental suits. When some of the robotic guards begin to misbehave, they quickly move to disable them with first orders, and then if necessary simply shoot them down with brilliant flashes of white light. Those aren't laser guns they're using. It's sufficiently distracted the group as to cause a pretty big mess out in front of the gate though.

Anne will have an easier time, especially with people interested in the main gate. Penelope might need to quietly disable a single guard, but slipping through an emergency hatch will be easy enough. She'll find herself in the bustling city that never seems to sleep, though... and the crowded streets full of markets and beggars make it obviously a bad situation. She probably wouldn't want to set up shop here. Going to the reactor poses a problem, though, because it's in an area of the city that requires passing a checkpoint to get to.
Uriel and Qemuel     Using their Celestial Speed, the twin angels blip into appearance near Priscilla. Neither of their wings are out, and though divine it's still unpleasant for their physical bodies, so they're both wearing masks. The blonde one speaks first.

"As I said, there are enough innocents here that our movements will be restricted, until the military mobilizes in force."

Qemuel, the darker one, adds, "That's more my area of expertise anyway. But ideally you won't need me. I'm all about giving people strife, but these people have enough of that, so I'm in no hurry to force a battle down their throats on top of their shitty lives."
Tesla Armadia It's not a fortress, but it looks like it's keepers have wisely not relied -entirely- on their technology. A shame, it means this can't be done the simple and unmessy way.

On the other hand, Tesla doesn't mind a challenge. Nor does that mean this has to turn into a large fiasco, either. Still time to nip the issue in the butt, while it still looks like a guffaw in the robots. The evo-suit guards turning to disable them does still provide a distract that she can work with, after all.

Tesla shifts her focus from the robots to the rest of the security while the human guards are busy dealing with the glitched robots. Her allies should be able to sweep in to deal with the guards, if she can keep those turrents from being active and start breaking down the actual security.
Lin HOORAY A DISTRACTION! Lin clenches a fist and grins at this show of tactics. It's definitely something she couldn't do. "PERFECT!"

She's fast. Incredibly fast. So she takes a running start past the distracted patrol and LEAPS! Quite far, quite high, and quite quickly.

Far over their heads. Hopefully out of sight through the sheer fact that people rarely look up...

    Onwards!
Anne Blakely     Mmmn... "What shall we do then? Kill the guards and crash through in the chaos?"

That was Penelope. Anne sighs, "I'd forgotten how bloodthirsty you could be. No, we want to do this... reasonably quietly. We may be able to be in and out just like that. Ready one of your weaker explosives, will you?"

Anne is going to use her actual power for once. The one that everything is based upon.

That is, she just takes a stroll along the wall, presuming there is a real wall dividing off this section. Running fingers over it, idly pausing to examine now and then. She's better at assessing how stuff 'works' but she's putting some thought into the structure of the wall and its gates, if any. Where would be the best point to dismantle it hard enough to make a hole?
Priscilla     Indeed, it seems the bureaucrats of C-Dome were sensible enough to have human guards set up as handlers before squishy alternatives to robots. Despite Tesla's commendable efforts, the ultimate administrative power seems to lie with the people with meat brains, and so the hijacking of their security goes only halfway. Priscilla contemplates the unfolding mess at a distance, tracking the popping flashes of white light, and generally watching for any signs of it spilling over, as Uriel and Qemuel do a rather startling shoulder conscience appearance, sans the devil.

"And so offering oneself to an army indicates one's intent to cause death, and thus divests one of the mantle of true innocence, I presumeth. I hath little objection to sparing the serfs further chaos, thus worry no further." she says to the angels, perhaps somewhat distracted by the choking poison in the air.

Quickly enough, Priscilla decides to remain outside no longer, and takes advantage of the mechanical chaos occurring on the front doorstep. She moves independently to one of the individual exit hatches that dot the dome's exterior, making her way in as close to the gate as possible, and ghosts through the less populated streets on the way to its opposite side. From there, she scopes out who and what comprises the main gate's crew indoors, and makes her way to what most closely resembles an office, gatehouse, or the like.

Logically, someone, somewhere in the command chain has to approve requests for the main gates to open. No doubt Tesla is filling the system with them, and they aren't being accepted. Priscilla's goal is then to quickly incapacitate anyone surrounding the controls, and manually approve the technopath's protocols herself. She's not exactly a computer wiz, but observing the activities of its human operators is something she's very good at.
Haguro It's a good thing Haguro doesn't need to breathe as a boat ghost, or she'd be in trouble with all the breath-holding she's doing. Remaining behind the cover of a large boulder, she peeks out every now and then to see what's going on with the patrols. It doesn't look like the distraction from the malfunction robots is going to last, and it's much too far for her to just try and slip past everyone unnoticed. Plus, with those turrets still around...

That just leaves the silent approach. Or relatively silent, as Haguro rushes for the human guards from the side, aiming to dispatch them while they're distracted with quick whacks to the head with her bat! It's not the cleanest solution, but it's definitely quieter than using any of her cannons, and even the possibility they might /not/ die from traumatic head injuries.
Uriel and Qemuel     The wall that Anne is exploring is.... pretty solid. However, what she DOES find is a flaw she can exploit. Some of the entrances have been sealed off, and detonating a charge in one place will open up one of those sealed entrances. It MIGHT alert the guards, and not just from noise... but it would have her directly in that area.

As for the rest? The gate is a problem, but not for much longer. Some of the humans are panicking, and shooting their robotic 'friends' now. Yet that isn't really the problem, because Priscilla can squeeze into the side entrance with little problem. She causes a bit of a stir... but that's only because it's pretty bustling even here, so she can't avoid brushing by some confused serfs. That's a good word for them.

There are a few human operators chatting about this, while one keep deleting the commands. Looks like that needs manual confirmation. There are only four of them in this station though, and with a splatter of blood, three are dead and the fourth is wheezing. "D-don't?!" Confused by the invisible attacker, and surprisingly intact! However, not... enough. Thus the interference goes away, and the outside door opens. It's an airlock, so no need to worry about letting fumes in. For safety, the doors can easily be opened from the inside. This is a dystopia, but there are some reasonable standards applied.

Which does leave the guards, the half-dozen left, yelling in shock as Rei Lin bounds into their position. One has the presence of mind to shoot, while another does attack... but stupidly pulls out a baton, which is not a good idea for him. It's the disintegration beam that Karal has to deal with, though maybe Haguro could help her out, since of the other four, two more go down with a loud KLONK to the head. One of the remaining two whips about, firing another blaster at Haguro.
Tesla Armadia Tesla Armadia is quite thankful for the backup from the Ghostbote and the Solar, as it means she doesn't have to divert her focus. So she catchs immeadiately when the resistance is gone and grabs the opening to actually get the open command through.

Oh good, it is an airlock. These people aren't -entirely- apathetic to their populance.

Shifting her awareness out of the system, Tesla stepped into the gate-airlock to wait the others, leaning against the wall. Using her ability to that extent isn't without it's costs and she's going to need a few moments to recoup from the effort. Leaving cleaning up the remaining guards to her allies.
Haguro Noticing that some of the guards have actually turned on Karal instead of the robots, Haguro's quick to act, and not solely in the attempted non-lethal fashion. Bringing up that revolver, she dives forward to narrowly avoid taking a direct hit from the blaster, although one of her armor plates does go up in a sizzle of smoke and dust. She takes two shots at the blaster-user, then squeezes off the rest of her weapon's remaining rounds at the disintegrator beam-user for his trouble.

Is it a little much? Maybe, but... Well, Priscilla and Qemuel are right. They're soldiers. They knew what they were getting into signing up, just as the Elites here have.
Anne Blakely     Oh, that's an interesting way in. "Move quickly, Penelope. Afterward you can slay as many of the guards as you wish, just stay near me and... hm. What is that ruckus?" Ah well. Anne opts to carefully blow the door, and then let her little coppery death machine slip in first to dal with any guards. Let's hope they don't have anything too big for her... nto that she'd worry about that too much.
Priscilla     An airlock had most certainly been what Priscilla was hoping for, not only for not wanting to subject herself to the air outside again, but for the good of the permanent residents here as well.

As the process cycles, she tugs down the ghetto filter mask from her face, getting a smattering of souls with her first breath of relatively untainted air. Briefly, she feels a twinge of self-consciousness, expecting some form of passive admonishment for the bloodshed, only to be immediately replaced with chagrin for even letting the thought enter her mind.

Priscilla doubts that the others need her help at the gate with the turmoil they've already caused, and so her first order of business is to wait out the scuffle and give the group some time to run ahead whilst she scrutinizes the controls for something like a silent alarm, or failing that, at least a local one, with the idea being to draw the armed forces to the airlock that had already been circumvented instead of letting them figure out something is wrong on their own, and spread out all over the city in search of it; or worse, hole up near the administrative tower. She will stop short of hitting anything that will automatically put the entire dome on high alert though.

"Lady Karal, Lady Haguro. Pray, taketh different routes from one another. Aim well wide of the most direct path from the garrison and the gatehouse, and converge at our point of destination. Maketh entrance at the first level if the opportunity is available to thee, but proceed no further until the four of us art to able to meet again. Lady Armadia, I shalt accompany thee unseen, until thou art ready to proceed under thine own power." Priscilla is trusting that Karal and Haguro can take a side street somewhere without drawing a robot army down on their heads. She lingers with Tesla long enough for the technopath to get her breath back, and then goes for a third route towards the tower rise.
Lin Lin somehow, SOMEHOW manages to spin her whole body around in midair like some kind of freakish feline. The disintegration beam splashes against a rapidly and skillfully employed sheathed blade, splashing against it and scorching it deeply... when by all accounts that should be its end. She hits the ground at a harder angle from the impact and is forced to tumble-backflip to her feet before she can draw her weapon.

She's not going to stay there and deal with them, with Priscilla available to do that though. Lin needs to head in with Haguro...

"Heh. Here's hoping this works as well as we hope it does! Gatehouse, converge at the target... secure the first floor. Understood! Let's give them a surprise, Haguro!"

Straight for the gate she dashes...

For the gate... and through the city.

.... And if the city proves hard to navigate, she'll leap up onto rooftops if that's feasible...
Uriel and Qemuel     Uriel and Qemuel rush in as well. Priscilla gets her questioning... but not as expected, perhaps. It's Uriel who asks, "You killed them?" The note is very odd in her voice, not like disbelief or even disapproval, but confusion, slowing and staring at Priscilla for a long moment.

Qemuel grunts, "Some other time... we have work to do." The dark-haired one tugs on her sister, who shakes her confused expression off and follows, before splitting off from the others for a fourth route.

But there are things to worry about now. For one, the rooftops are VERY high up. This is like Judge Dredd... huge buildings with tiny alleys. Though it sounds like there's a siren going off, and people are starting to clear the streets. Having little regard for their people is one thing, but they do apparently NOT want to start a fight in crowded streets. It is going to be a bit of a fight for everyone... as a line of troops are forming along each street, ins surprising organization, backed up by several ranks of 'droids' that are armed with laser weaponry. They're blockading with incredible speed, drilled into them by the ruthless overlords expecting insurrection.

However, of more concern than these nameless mooks are several other things. Two large flying, blocky constructs zoom out, searchlights starting to scan the area while they weave between the buildings. And a large, cybernetic figure can be seen approaching several of the blockades. That is, several cybernetic figures, each of them unique. Looks like they DO have something like 'Elites' of their own.

Anne will also have a bit of a problem, as heading for the reactor proves to be... bloody. There are just too many workers, and only a few are robotic. Unless she'd like to go through another route? As it stands, everyone else can hear that there are intruders in the dome, because it's being announced:

'Intruders in the dome. All citizens return to your homes. Intruders in the dome. Dispatching forces to Metro Areas C-2, C-3 , D-2, D-3, E-2, E-3. Reactor is under attack. Please enter brownout protocols. Lockdown will commence in: 10 minutes."

Well, kind of useful for intruders to know?
Tesla Armadia Once the airlock cycles out the nausious wastelands air and vents in something cleaner in comparison Tesla disengages the extra environmental systems that are no longer needed. Then shrugs a little. "That turned out to be a bit more than we anticipated, sorry."

Different routes so they're not all pinned down in one spot if someone is discovered, smart tactics. Not that she doubted Priscilla's capacity but it is good to see her faith in their new command structure is being proven well placed. "I'll be fine. We should keep moving." Once the technopath is on the move again she's quickly back up to pace though.

Good thing they went different ways, because the locals are quickly rallying their ranks together in the streets. Well at least they did get the civilians to take shelter. They probably don't care on an individual level, just that you need someone to rule over to be in charge.

"Find your routes," Tesla remarks over the comm. "Probably going to have to fight for it, but don't let them bog you down with opposition. That's what they want." She regards the readouts on her visor for a moment, then makes her move... that's not -away- from a blockade.

Quite the contrary, as Tesla makes a break -towards- it down the street, prehaps hoping to break it before they can form up entirely? But how...

... Is the question people not familiar with the fact that Tesla has made her power armor able to amply things an armadillo can already do. Armadillos roll up in a ball.

A shifting of armor panels and kinetic locomotion and instead of just an intrusive scientist there is a big metal ball barreling towards the blockade and picking up speed quite quickly as it does so.
Lin Lin finds herself staring in amazement at the level of technology at play here that she rarely sees even in the Multiverse. Rarely sees, rarer still understands. But what she does immediately grasp? How disciplined and prepared these people were for the attack. It's a kind of response she might expect from BEES after someone whacked their hive with a stick. Just involving more military formations and tactics.

She very briefly GRINS, the challenge of taking that on singing out to her... but her mission. Her mission here.

That, and the fact that she doesn't want to kill people unnecessarily...

Golden light flickers forth from Lin's skin as she taps deeper and deeper into her solar spirit. Mere skin simply can't contain the radiance of her soul and so it billows outwards as she veers sideways and LEAPS FOR A BUILDING. The alleys are incredibly narrow, which to her means they can be crossed in single strides.

Her enemies have decided to array themselves before her as a force dominating the streets... and so.

Her feet slam into the building's walls but instead of springing off it she starts to RUN. She runs at a weird angle, somehow completely defying gravity through feathery-light steps! A golden comet trailing a tail of sunfire along a path that few people probably thought was even a path...
Haguro With the guards dispatched and only minimal damage to her armor, Haguro gets back on her feet before listening to the orders coming in through the radio.

<<"Understood, Lady Priscilla. Lady Karal. I'll keep to the alleys, then, and.. Um. I'll keep a low profile. I... I can keep my eyes open for high ground, too, in case you need me to fire on anything from long range.">> Inwardly, the ship girl is hoping that won't be the case considering the civilians around inside the city, but if that's what's needed to do the job, then...

Perhaps it's better not to dwell on that for too long. Hearing Karal, Haguro nods in her direction while turning back to make sure Tesla's moving well enough. <<"I'll go through the garrison, then. Be careful, everyone.">> With that general encouragement issued, the cruiser breaks into a run again, but this time to get inside the city for real!

And then there's alarms, warnings, sirens, and weird blocky... Things coming out of the woodwork to impede their progress. Ducking into one of the tiny alleys, Haguro takes a moment to reload her revolver, check her bat, and then takes a long breath to prepare herself. There's a lot of opposition, but...

Haguro still has most of her armor and weapons. She can do this. She doesn't need to breathe, but the gesture still makes her feel better! Once Haguro's reading, she pokes her head out to take a potshot at one of the blocky searchlight floaters with one of her smaller explosive shells, waiting just long enough to make sure it knows she's there before falling back. From there, she starts seeking out a longer, winding route towards the garrison instead of the straightforward one to try and split the responders up.
Priscilla     All things said, being /directly/ questioned for killing someone is relatively new for Priscilla, such that it catches her marginally by surprise. Regardless of the question coming from a capital A Angel however, Priscilla does not seem terribly motivated to morally defend it, and not out of a desire to be edgy. "I hath little say in the matter, aside whether to act or not at all. Ultimately, it was up to these men to perish not." she replies vaguely, as if she were being asked about someone else's behaviour, rather than hers.

It will indeed require explaining some other time. For a minute, Priscilla wonders if she had hit a button that she really shouldn't have, but at hearing the words 'reactor is under attack', her suspicions lie elsewhere, and yet with that countdown incoming, there doesn't seem to be the time to break off and find the culprit.

She remains on track for the tower, staying closely in the wake of Tesla's armadillo ball rampage. She doesn't have to worry about the search lights as she is, but being invisible is much less helpful squeezing through a densely packed blockade on a narrow street, and the buildings are much too high for her to want to try and get on top of, so she lets the scientist bowl the defenses over and slips through the gaps. Besides, the rolling powered armour presents a convenient laser sponge in front of her.

The moment she and Tesla are past the most easily defended point, Priscilla stops briefly to fire off her hereditary breath weapon behind her. Instead of aiming it at anyone, she sweeps the ray of brilliant, blue-white light from one side of the street to the other, so that the terrain it touches erupts into a dense forest of intimidating, grey crystal spires, to serve as a barricade that the dome defense forces are on the wrong side of. The obvious danger is being cut to pieces from trying to squeeze through all the fractal spikes, but mostly what dissuades pursuit from the tough, cybernetic and robotic types, is that touching the crystal at all, quickly absorbs a deadly curse, which she expects the local technology is less prepared to deal with.
Anne Blakely     Hmm. to be messy or quiet? Normally, Anne likes the quiet approach... but the distraction won't be around forever. "Penelope, why don't you go play and have fun? I have some work to do that you wouldn't be interested in." There we go. Anne turns and makes her way toward the reactor, which is probably guarded too, yes?

But Penelope... giggles. She's going to dash inside, and play a little hide and go murder with the guards, using her small size, bulletproof body, and knives. Just little slashes and stabs whenever, to start soe chaos. If she runs into something BAD though, it could end up... messy.
Uriel and Qemuel     Aerial forces are now under attack from deadly bote. The pursuer turns the light toward Haguro and opens fire with... bullets? Looks like they're using kinetic weapons for this, for some reason, chewing up the road something fierce! That's going to make a mess, but it is avoiding hitting the arcology-buildings. Said building are starting to slam shut, going under lockdown now.

This frees up the angels at least. "Aerial attacker number two will be handled by us," Qemuel says before taking to the air, lifting off for the gunship. That will keep them busy but help keep the skies clear.

Meanwhile, Karal Rei Lin darts around her group, causing the entire cluster to turn about and pepper the ground with lighter bullets. These don't seem to be heavy impact, but the cyborg coming this way, a large and cumbersome fellow, has something else to treat Karal with. A spiderwork of missile contrails come up... and they swerve to follow the brilliant light of the sun, locking on easily to the Solar's brilliance.

Tesla has an even easier time with the mooks, which tumble end over end with crashes of metal and screams. A few take shots as they recover, showing discipline... but the 'cyborg' she has to deal with is a lithe, nimble female that calmly fires four or five shots out of each pistol to the sides, before diving out of the way. Then again, she really needs to dive, because of the monofilament wire she strung in front of Tesla. Fortunately, Priscilla's barrier rises, and the reinforcements trying to cut off any escape are... well, themselves cut off by that barrier. A few of the soldiers stupidly DO try to touch it. Their scanners don't indicate anything harmful.
Uriel and Qemuel     Oh dear. It looks like the power station is under attack from... well, Penelope. She has her fun, all right, and in a matter of minutes, the power station is getting terrified, as workers and guards are being swept aside without trouble at all. Yet all is not smooth sailing, for Anne has abandoned her main defense, hasn't she?

The reactor room is guarded... by a massive mecha, crablike in stance, which is hooked into the reactor itself. Ten meters tall, it dominates the room that the door opens up into, and it is easier to see why there are no real guards here. Smaller turrets pop up from the massive thing, and Anne will need to deal with a blazing barrage of lazers crisscrossing all over the catwalks, even slicing them up to make maneuvering difficult. And the nature of the reactor is... puzzling, too. It just seems to be sitting there without any fuel lines to it, though coolant lines are obviously interlacing it. IT has a strange, rounded, otherworldly shape that is in defiance of the hard lines of the technology here.
Haguro That's one of the big ones, at least. As Haguro takes cover behind a convenient dumpster to hide from the initial volley of bullets, she starts scanning the area quickly to try and spot some sort of way to get to higher ground. She can't exactly fly or perform any sorts of impressive wall-running maneuvers like her other companions, and even complex acrobatics are still beyond the boteghost's physical abilities!

On the plus side, the fact that the buildings are locking down behind those gates means the people hiding inside them are probably safer than they were before. That means she can afford to let loose a little more with her armaments to even things up some.

<<"Please be careful. I'm switching to flak rounds now!">> Haguro announces to her allies while the turrets on her shoulders shift around, the wider-range shells loading in while she peeks out from behind cover again. The ship girl shrinks back briefly as another spray of bullets dings off the ground around her and even blasts off one of the guns, but she's still got the other one to fire back with. She throws the metal bat out from one side of the dumpster to try and throw off the searchlight's aim before charging out from the other side, firing off what would normally be used against aerial combatants to detonate multiple explosions around the searchlight!
Tesla Armadia There's plenty of gunfire, but other than dents and burns it does little to get through the additional spherical armor as Tesla bowls through the barricade, also giving Priscilla a chance to slip through and cut off the remaining soldiers from easily following them.

Unfortunately for her, the cyborg waits until the last moment to leap out of the way, leaving her no time to realize that it's more than just an evasive maneuver. The narrow cutting edge of the mono-wire does a much better job of getting through that plating. If it had been used as more than an improvised tripwire, that might of been really nasty. Even as is, it digs in to the point it snags on something it can't slice within the layer of armor, but that's enough to cause the armor-dillo to catch and flip over the wire, sending Tesla careening a bit haphazardly away as a sizable portion of the plating is sheered off by the mono-wire. Bits of alloy clatter about the street as she uncurls what remains and hits pavement with her armored boots to bleed off the rest of her momentum. Almost immeadiately her attention is focused on the... cyborg, by the readings her visor is getting. Tch. She can't just hack it like a robot then, if it's still got parts of organic brains and bits in it. That and cranking up her full technopathy right now would put her in that potentially vulnerable position they were specifically warned not to do.

Energy is already channeling through her gauntlets as Tesla rises back to a full stand, though keeping one foot slightly farther back from the other to brace herself. "Looks like I shall have to dissect you the old fashioned way." A little bit of fang shows as she smirks. Even as the panels of her vambraces slide back and the charging weapon barrels lock into place as Tesla raises her arms and opens fire.

Not with the big flashy bolts of lasers one might anticipate, though. The beams are focused to a very intense point, more like weaponizing the lasers used for industrial cutting, and fired with surgical precision as Tesla takes tactical aim at the cyborg's limbs and joints. Disabling it would be much more quick and effective that trying to figure out how to maximize destructive force.

And you thought she was being witty when she said she was going to dissect it?
Lin Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh boy. Lin has a sword, and that guy has... missiles. Missiles that are swarming in straight for her.

She does the only thing she can think of to do.

Grabs her scabbard, hones her sight onto the missiles as they converge nearing her... and HURL it like a knife for them. Contact is made, one missile's deflected into another... and DETONATION!

The sky's filled with a cacaphonous eruption of conjoined fireballs and spraying shrapnel. Not quite at its target...

But close enough that Lin bursts through the smoke and the flame covered in blood, clothes half-shredded. horrible cuts criss-cross her body, largely her arms and legs. Body armor worn under the outfit has saved her vitals from the worst of it. Still though...

She stumblesand this brings her speed down to a point where the bullets catch up. Even as her leg screams in pain from perforated muscles and tendons she whips about and springs through the air, blade moving impossibly fast to catch bullets by the DOZENS.

Possibly even by the hundreds. It very frequently seems to be in many places at once and in positions that overlap, her parrying utterly transcends common sense. Only about twenty bullets get through to strike at extremities and bloody her further... but she hits the proper ground and skids along at great speed... then ducks into an alley to try and lose the Cyborg and head towards the main building proper again!

"Very organized soldiers... they've got real strength here! Who's that weirdo with the explosives?"
Anne Blakely     Oh. Crap. "Ah, perhaps I was a little hasty," Anne says calmly before raising a barrier with her magic. It's not enough to fully deflect the first shots, but she's also running... and jumping with a little yelp, as the catwalk gives way. In very little time at all, she's bounding from support to support, a sizzling lance of laser beam opening a wound on her thigh to make her stumble. She isn't well-equipped to handle this, and has little offensive capability right now. Just a single bomb, hurled toward the front of the mecha, largely to frazzle its systems and maybe explode some of the smaller weapons.

That is a very odd reactor though. She doubts she can /steal/ something that size, but she would love to get a longer look. Too bad she's being SHOT AT! "PENELOPE!"

Oh right. She's busy dismembering some poor worker. Sigh. Anne at least didn't bring Gepetto, that would have been a disaster. At least Penelope only wants to scare and disable rather than kill most of the time.

"RUPERT!" TIme to call in the big guns... though Rupert is going to need to blast his way through the gate or the dome itself to reach her. The dragon of clockwork is certainly going to try!

"I made a mess out of things this time, didn't I?" she treflects. Not really like her!
Priscilla     Those poor unlucky individuals who touch the crystals get to experience literally the worst status effect ever. Even without being directly stabbed, anything more than a couple of seconds of contact for the 'extras' amounts to certain death, as white whorls in the grey glass appear where touched, and slowly contort to take the grisly appearance of human faces.

Those affected are doomed to have their flesh turn into the same, macabre substance, though rather than freezing from the point of contact, the horrid crystal bursts out from within them, leading to a short period of excruciating pain where the glassy growths split flesh and bone on their way out into the open air, before the entire body simply petrifies, and becomes an exceptionally gruesome statue. Exceptionally fragile as well. Dad did not have a nice and simple elemental breath weapon.

Meanwhile, staying beyond Tesla seems to have been the wise decision. Her head on collision with the monowire clues Priscilla into its existence pretty quickly, allowing her to duck the line fairly handily. She briefly considers sticking around to jump the cyborg while it's distracted with Tesla, but decides not to push her luck (and to stay out of the laser show), instead breaking away and continuing towards the tower now that she assumes it must be almost completely undefended.
Uriel and Qemuel     Flak rounds work well, but... well, the gunship's bullets still spray all over, just before it veers off course and crashes into an arcology! Even metal plating can't fully muffle that... but as it tumbles back and slams against another building, it shows that the plating of the lockdown prevented really awful damage, thankfully. Any lives lost are probably very very unlucky sorts, if any at all. The body count here is in guards and the reactor workers. Fortunately Haguro has other air support with the angels, and disorienting and damaging the gunship has given them space to mop up the other one. Haguro can easily duck aside and let the gunship limp through the streets alone if she wants.

KAral starts a stalking through the streets, the cyborg gathering troops behind him and stomping along the alleys. Easy to lose, but pretty strong in face to face battle. Might want to stay on the run and take a circuit to the main building. The cyborg does look to be staying to this sector.

Tesla's foe seems to be pretty good though. A yank at invisible lines has those mono-wires swirling about, whipping back and forth to try to crisscross over Tesla as well. Three, then four times she tries this, getting more attacks in before the 'surgery' lands her in trouble with a shriek of pain! Jerking back, she clutches her missing arm and grunts. Tumbling to the side, she starts to get more defensive... but it's too late, as she leaves another limb behind in the form of her leg. Unfortunately this has given some of the remaining troops time to send some withering fire Tesla's way.

As guessed, Priscilla can walk right up to the tower, and simply rise up to the top floor. What she does there - to either announce the Concord takeover or outright murder them - is up to her. It's not like they're moving... because it looks like the 'leaders' are simply brains in jars by now, preserved with their world's high technology far past the normal life expectancy(which is, due to terrible conditions, only about 40 years despite high medical tech)

Though there will be oooone small problem.

    "DOME BREACH DETECTED. DEPLOYING COUNTERMEASURES."

Because the only way for Rupert to reliably get in over the reactor /fast/ would be to bust through the dome. Fortunately, it's a small enough hole that the sealant can close it up before too much of the awful atmosphere leaks in, but it'll need fixed in the next few weeks before the sealant rots.

Good thing for Anne that explosion has forced the mech to reorient its sensors. Anne has a little breathing room to let Rupert take care of the mech, and... well. Look at the reactor? It's not normal tech here, and seems to actually be drawing power from some mysterious otherworldly source. It's not something this sort of tech level should have, since it definitely has some kind of mystical element to it.
Tesla Armadia The dervish of mono-wire slashes put several more deep slices into red and orange metal. Needless to say, if it wasn't for the power armor, it'd be Tesla that's probably missing some vital parts instead of the way the cyborg ends up dismembered. Considering how dangerous mono-whips can be to the user if mishandled, the diaganol gouges now visible is a testiment to how effective this bionic woman is. Or was.

"Tch. Not bad for someone that's now on their last leg." Tesla's ban pun is probably just as painful as the amputations might of been.

Some of the soldiers are getting through and putting up a losing fight though. Got to give them some respect for sticking to their duty. Still an annoyance though.... And then someone or something is breaching the dome itself. That's going to make a mess to clean up later problem, so she probably shouldn't dwaddle around here.

With the lasers deactivated Tesla pulls a pair of more standard handheld blasters out of the thigh compartments of her armor, using them to trade shots with the lingering defenders while making her way to the tower for the final regrouping while Priscilla puts some jar-brains appropriately under the Concord's heel.
Haguro That was a little messier than Haguro was hoping for. Although the crashing gunship isn't quite as explosive as she was expecting, the fact that it does crash into the arcology at all still weighs on her. She doesn't let it keep her down too long, though, swallowing that guilt and just focusing on finishing the mission first and foremost.

<<"H... Haguro reporting in. I've dispatched one of the fliers. I'm seeking higher ground now.">> She can mourn later. For now, though, the ghost boat is more than ready to let the other gunship pass her by before booking it towards the garrison facing the tower once more. She keeps her revolver ready to fire back at any defenders still trying to impede her progress, although she's much more wary of anything that looks like it might have the capacity to explode or smash up even more of those metal gates.

Finding high ground is the important thing for now, though. As Haguro advances, she focuses most of her effort on trying to keep a clear view of the tower in the hopes of being able to cover the rest of her allies as they approach or leave that tower.
Lin Lin does indeed go on a mad dash zig-zagging through alleys until she can once again find a perpendicular set of buildings to dash along the side of - rather literally. Her glowing form is very hard to miss on the ground, but streetgoers who don't look UP in time might just manage to miss her. Or so she hopes. She's breathing rather hard by now, or that bunch of injuries was not at all pleasant.

Oddly, she's not trailed much blood. It'll make things hard for the cyborg. Might be rather puzzling in fact: why is she not bleeding very muchafter such serious injury, when she should've left a horrible bloody trail that's easy to follow?

Lin doesn't even realize how much her Exalted healing factor is working in her favor there...
Priscilla     Brains in jars are not really a trope Priscilla is familiar with. Suffice to say, most of the reason she knows what a brain is, is that she's seen a fair few of them come out of a living person's skull shortly before they ceased living. Because Dark Souls.

That gives them approximately one opportunity to prove they are actually self-aware, following her de-cloaking partway into the room and verbally demanding the immediate stand down of all forces in the city, before she takes a non-response to mean that they're just organs in jars and probably ends up killing them in the process of unplugging whatever is necessary to shut down city tactical grids.

If brains can surrender, that's great. If they can't (or won't), it's ultimately saving more lives to dumpster them and stop the fighting as quickly as possible. Only once that process is squared away, does Priscilla start checking for enough of a panopticon to figure out what the attack on the reactor had been, and potentially by whom.
Uriel and Qemuel     Don't worry, Priscilla, they can communicate. It's a text to speech but they can state in somewhat simplistic terms that they are in charge of the city, and are rather demanding... until the one in the 'head position' of the group points out that they have no defenders. Capitulation is... swift, because they are largely cowards.
Anne Blakely     When Rupert crashes in, things are really getting messy. "Ah, Rupert, just keep them busy if you can't destroy it. I only need a few more minutes." Anne will carefully observe the processes involved, then tsk to herself. Such a waste, leaving without this, but it sounds like a war zone out there. If she had more support... ah, no use crying over spilled milk.

As soon as there is a breather in the titanic fight between dragon and robot, she whistles lightly and climbs on, waiting for Penelope to return and letting Rupert swipe her up. "Time to go!" Of course leaving... no, Anne is more careful than Rupert, and will just take the gate out.
