Alden A nice evening in the crystal valley!, nothing is wrong, no emergencies, and good weather. Alden picks that time to invite his digimon friends over, and train, spar, and just rough play with them!. At the moment, they are playing some rough game of tag!.
The guests include a bipedal, rather... chubby rabbit like digimon with guns for hands, covered in dark fur, and wearing jeans and bandolier, who is cheering Alden!, "Come on, you can catch him!". Alden, in his quadruped, somewhat scary looking form, is chasing a fairly scarier, impossibly slender and long limbed fox of sorts, who seems to be just too fast for the Garurumon, almost prancing around, "Oh come on, you said you were in better shape now."
Shizue Brief flashes of crimson high up in the distant sky accompany a swooping figure of porcelean white... a figure so small one could be forgiven for not seeing it amidst the clouds. Clicking and scraping of metal accompanies the ejection of the figure's wing brackets, manufactured pinions of steel and carbon material slice through the air above and behind as the figure continues its nose-dive straight toward the crystal fields below.

Brief beeping sounds accompany a quiet articulation of purpose, "...employing observational systems. Switching to infrared.."

Though it might be tiny, no more than six inches in height and weighing less than five pounds, if one were with keen enough eyes and happened to be looking up at that exact moment... one might spot the swiftly descending female figure encased in white armor with ornate red designs. The figure, wearing a similarly porcelean traditional Japanese kitsune mask, seems to stare unflinchingly toward the ground below as a scarlet braid of hair whips violently behind...

...within moments, she's turned her swift descent into a smooth gliding motion overhead, thanks to the deployment of those wings.

"...Observing..."

...somewhere below, near Black Gargomon, however... bird seed strangely begins to rain down briefly.

Ooopsie!
Alden Alden thankfully was not paying attention to the sky, so he never noticed anything amiss, and the thin, long limbed fox thing was also focused on his friend, playing along and yipping playfully whenever the fluffy wolf got close, "That's all you got?, come on!", swiftly jumping above Alden when he tries pouncing the Fangmon.
Katze was actually sitting besides the BlackGalgomon, "How long until Alden gives up and tries to cheat with cards?" she asks the bunny digimon, who answers, "I don't know, maybe an other couple tries.". There is a curious squeak from the bunnymon, "Huh, is it raining?", and looks up, squinting, "What's that?".
Shizue "...Shoot, shoot...!" the female kunoichi panics, desperately grasping at the loose feed sack tied about her tiny waist. She jerks it closed swiftly, yanking the old rope with which it's tied into an expertly made knot.

But the damage may already be done.

Her boosters kick into a lower state of propulsion that generates slightly less noise as she leans back into a stiff mid-air freeze. The crimson eyes beneath the mask dart wildly between targets, but the rest of does not move on instinct. Maybe if she were just to stay still... she wouldn't have to take counter-measures.

Maybe.
She's still weighing her options at this point, hinging almost entirely on their responses...
Alden The bunnymon is now glancing up, tilting his head, "Is there somethign there?". After a second, Katze joins in, jumping on the bunny's head to look up as well!. "I think I see something!... wait, no that's a cloud."...
The fox even gets caught on the sky gazing, tilting his head when the 'audience' is glancing up, and doing so as well, only to get pounced by an over eager Alden, the two quadrupeds rolling on the ground a bit, "I win!"
Shizue The prolonged staring certainly was unnerving.

But as 'play' begins to resume moments later, and some of the targets begin to shift their focus... Shizue lets out a soft sigh. ... And then promptly begins to descend at a slow pace...

*Knock, THUNK*

Two shuriken are lobbed through the air moments later... richoting off of crystals and nearby rocks with a resounding thunk and a scraping of metal. Two more are then lobbed again... one sticking into the ground near the rough housing duoand one into a nearby tree.

Is it an attack? No, not in intention. But she is trying to divert their attention from her real aim... a perch high up in that very same tree for observational purposes. It's intended as a distraction only... but were one to catch sight of her in the process, it could be easily misconstrued...
Alden The bunny never stops staring, long ears perking up, "I wonder what that was." he mumbles, rubbing his nose. He does give up eventually, and turns to see the two digimon rolling around and play gnawing on eachother. Katze is the one to rush to the tree. Not so much to investigate, if only to watch the playing digimon from a higher perch. The two canines notice the shurikens and stop moving, staring at the sharp weapons..
Shizue ...landing softly on the tree branch above, Shizue's mechanical crow's feet *CLICK* mechanically before latching onto the branch... anchoring her into place. From beneath the shaded canopy, the scarlet-haired kunoichi's stare fixes on the smaller one with guns for hands. Easily, he'd be the worst threat to her if he decided to attack... she deccides...

"...Running an compositional scan on target #2, engaging auditory sensors.." she intones to seemingly no one. "...can you see well, from your end... Master?"

Though it could easily go unnoticed, if one weren't so observant... the angle of reflection off one of those gleaming shuriken just my give a little more perspective on who threw it than maybe she intended...
Alden Katze climbs on the tree, perchign not too far away from the sneaky ninja Shinki!, tail swishing lazily as she stares at the wolf and fox, "Come on, keep fighting!".
The bunny digimon looks around a few more times, "Guess it was nothing." he mumbles, rubbing his chin and instead turning his focus to the metallic things, "What happened?" he asks.
Alden finds one of the shurikens, and carefully sniffs at it, while the fox digimon finds another, and blinks, noticing a reflection!. He looks back, in the direction of the tree, "Hi there!"
Shizue ...Well, shit. Perhaps this is a good reason not to polish your shuriken too well? Aerodynamics being what they are though, she can't afford to NOT do tha either but... well... it would seem it has it's downsides.

The masked doll, small enough to be mistaken for an action figure of some kind, stares quietly and motionlessly toward the Digimon who addresses her... scarlet hair braid undulating ever so slightly in the breeze.

<...>

"...Hi." is what comes out, a girlish voice muffled greatly. "...I..." Her head turns, ever so slowly, to pay each of them cautious glances. "...was just... uh... feeding the birds?"

That would explain the bird seed earlier, wouldn't it...? But it's a damnable lie, nevertheless!
Alden Katze hears the voice and inmediatly looks up, climbing the tree until she can stand near the Shinki!. She smiles and bows politely, "Hello!, I am Katze!" the Maochao says, ears twitching cutely. "Nice to meet you!".

The fox meanwhile hrms, one paw swiftly reaching for the shuriken and making it 'vanish' in a move too fast for the average person to see, "I see!, did you see who threw these metal things? they seem dangerous." he says softly, smiling widely, which is a bit unnerving with a snout like his. Alden does check the other shuriken a few moments, before sitting up, "Oh, hey there!, are you a friend of Katze?".
Shizue ANOTHER SHINKI?!

Shizue's crimson eyes lock on the approaching Maochao. If this one knew anything of Shizue's model or designed purpose as an air support and recon unit...

This could be very bad.

It's at this junction, that Shizue does perhaps the most unlikely thing... she grasps the bridge of her kitsune masks nose and begins to pull it free from her face...

Time for diplomacy ploys and half-truths.

"...Haha...!" Her near-emotionless countenance breaks, melting away as she reaches back to touch her head sheepishly. "...It... it was me. Sorry! -- I was feeding the birds and I saw a hawk swoop in! I thought to fend it off, but I'm kinda clumsy... so..."

She gives that Maochao a swift sidelong glance with the barest hint of what might be nervousness...
Alden The Maochao smiles, "Spying on Alden?" she asks teasingly, before winking, "I'm kidding, you can come closer if you want to learn more!, they don't bite... even if the fox looks scary." she offers happily, "It's nice to see other Shinkis around.". If she does suspect Shizue is up to no good, she gives no real signs of it, beyond the flick of one ear.

The fox nods, adn waves one paw, making the shuriken appear again, presdigitation!... wait, is it called like that when the magician lacks digits?. Anyway, the Foxmon seems to accep the story, "Ah, I see, try to be more careful, we were playing down there!" he says softly. The bunny digimon moves closer as well, reaching to lean onto the Fox, "It's alright.".

Alden just blinks and looks at the others, is he the only one wondering about the hawk cover?. Oh well, he has to be diplomatic, and instead nods, "I'm Alden."
Shizue Shizue sighs inwardly. Either they were all stupid, or just a little too trusting seemingly. Whatever the reasons, she's glad her cover getting blown didn't result in all-out combat. It hasn't been a week since the LAST time she was blown into pieces and reduced to a CSC!

"...I see." She replies, somewhat quietly, to the Maochao. "...Indeed!" Her voice rises again, taking on a more 'cheery' tone. "It's not often you see another Shinki out here... all this way from Japan..." Her eyes close momentarily, she pinches the bridge of her nose.

Well, that didn't sound suspicious AT ALL! What are YOU doing all the way out here exactly?

"...Although, not too surprising I suppose for you..." Maochao were popular models for the obvious reasons!

Shizue mechanical talons unlatch, she leaps down from the branch shortly after... giving that Maochao one last glance just before. On the way down, the talons themselves seem to dematerialize into thin, sparkling, whisps that vanish in the air. By the time she comes to perch on an overly large quartz crystal, protruding from the ground near the tree's base, it is with booted feet.

Soon the mask, wings, and any visible weapons vanish back into the slipway as well. All that's left is a teeny, scarlet braided, robo and her blood red eyes - that fixate on... Alden. The one who seems to be the hardest for her to read, at the present moment. As she curls herknees into her chest, she replies to the fox... "...I'm really sorry about that...!" ... with a sheepish smile... and then more awkward staring at Alden... hmm...
