Scene #4734: A Lost Gem

Kotone Yamakawa	Earth (Yes yet another one) Japan New Port City Outskirts Kotone was on the road tonight it was late but she was outskirts of the city, one might be able to see ruins left from the third world war in the distance s she speeds down the highway on her Knight Motorcycle a craft of her own creation and she was just trying to clear her head after the insanity with Tomoyo's party, it had been not as bad as could have been but she really needed to blow off some steam as the young cyborg moves down the highway at break neck speeds seemingly with no issue, what could possibly go wrong here tonight? Her world wasn't prone to halloween horrors, right?
Golden Topaz	Golden Topaz perhaps not Halloween horrors, but perhaps existential ones, or ones of witnessing, as a shimmer int he sky further along the highway marks the entrace of someone new to the world. Plummeting from the sky, his clothes flapping from the rushing air passing him by, is the shape of a man, falling from the heaven on high, down, down to the earth below, with seemingly no parachute.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa stares in shock for a moment and then swears, it's not going to end well. She knows how gravity works. She guns her engine and floors it on the bike trying to reach the point of seemingly impact. Maybe there is something Kotone can do? Maybe not? Either way she's homing in on it and is trying to keep pace thankfully she doesn't think they are going to hit the highway.
Golden Topaz	Thankfully, no, the highway won't be hit, but anything to the side of it not too far up ahead now will be. The figure continues to fall, head first, seemingly unaware as it falls silently.. and lands in a small ruined area, what used to be a motel, not a burnt out husk of the former glory of the Motel.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa pulls the cycle to a halt in the ruined Motel's parking lot, which is pitted and hasn't been yet to be reclaimed. She takes a moment to pop off her bike, pull the jacks out letting the cables slide back into her net and removes her helmet as she cautious heads towards the point of impact. She's not expecting to find anything good though who ever it was? The Impact likely killed them. "Hello?!"
Golden Topaz	Inside the building where the figure obviously crashed, with a hole where the impact occured, there is.. nothing. The rubble of the war, the bullet holes, the scorch marks, all marks from the past.. and no body. What is odd is a shimmering stone.. a gemstone, a bit off from where the hole was, shining on the ground. A crackless, normal gem, a vibrant orange-y yellow. A topaz.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa pauses for a moment as she looks at this ghost of the third world war? Was it part of the attacks on Japan? Or interal rioting? Who knows she doesn't but she does spot the gem glittering in the darkness and rather large one? She moves closer for a moment, kneeling down to pick it up and get a good look at it. She runs a quick net search and tilts her head "Some sort of Topaz? But one this big isn't ... normal."
Golden Topaz	The gem shines in the light, and almost seems to be humming, letting off an aura of energy in her hand. Where did it come from? And where did that body go? It couldn't just get up and walk off, could it?"
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa pauses as she watches the Gem start to shine and she looks at it, there's some sort of energy being emitted. She's not quite sure about it but the size of the gem and the vanishe body makes her supicous of the thing. She has to wonder for a moment just what it is?
Golden Topaz	Suddenly, the gem hops out of her hand, shining brighter, the light coming out of it taking shape, forming itself into a general outline mof a person, then gaining specifics, unkempt head forming atop a striking male face, eyes opening to reveal fiery orange irises before orange-lensed goggles form before them. The toned body nof a swimmer forms, followed by dark, tight clothes, not unlike the sort of thing a traditional ninja would wear. The gem itself is where the right elbow of the man should be, and soon standing before the woman is the full reformed body of a man, with dull yellow skin. Definitely not human.
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa leaps back as the gem rises out of her hand and she looks as a humanoid takes shape she pauses seeing the gem embeded in the man's elbow abnd payses staring for a moment. She looks at them her eyes narrowing and focusing he has no idea who this is but she has an idea of what they are. "A Gem? here?!" Given the few comments she'd heard about a few things from the Gem's she'd had encounted this does leave her concerned. "Who are you?"
Golden Topaz	The Gem stretches a bit, sighing. "Well.. that was unpleasant... waking up to fall-" And then he realizes he's not alone. He looks to the woman in front of him and blinks a bit. "I'm sorry if I startled you, miss... I'm Golden Topaz." He looks around, slowly taking in his surroundings, the relic of the war and the social strife gone by. "Um.. where is 'here' exactly? Last thing I remember I was walking around in Moscow... and then I blaked out, woke up falling just in time to crash into.." He looks up. "Through, the roof, and had to recover. And now.. I'm here."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa looks to Golden TOpaz for a moment. "This isn't Moscow your ner New Port Japan." SHe notes looking the Gem over for a moment and an eyebrow shoots up a little bit at them. "So if I might ask what were you up into in Moscow before you were here?" She looks slightly supicous at him. "Oh I'm Kotone Yamakawa!"
Golden Topaz	Golden Topaz blinks and smiles. "Japan.. been a while since I've been here." He then looks about a bit more, switching to fluent, essentially accent-less Japanese. "I do not know the city of New Port.. must have been a recent addition while I've been away. As for what I was doing in Moscow, I was visiting an old friend from World War II, who had been lucky enough to survive the siege of Berlin. He made a hell of a pot of borscht, and I wanted to see how his kids had grown up, since the last time I saw them they were still babies." He then looks to her and bows. "A pleasure to meet you, Yamakawa-sama."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa expression softens most of her concern seems gone. "Oh that's not quite what I expected I admit I also didn't expect to see a Gem here. Though I can explain New Port but it's going to be a bit on the heavy side. This isn't the earth you know it's 2034 CE or AD depending on what your used to." She has been replying in Japanse but there's a bit of an accent there on her end, odd. "I will also admit I didn't expect to have run into a Gem of any sort here at home." She seems to know of Gems, odd maybe that might be why she questioned him in the way that she did.
Golden Topaz	Golden Topaz blinks slowly, looking to her, scanning her face. and whe he finds truth, he then looks over her form, noticing... bits and pieces of oddity. Namely the seems. "So.. this.. isn't my Earth? Not the Earth where the Crystal Gems and loyalist Homeworld Gems have fought? Wait.. if that's true, then how do you know of Gems?" He moves to take a seat against a larger piece of rubble.
Kotone Yamakawa	Topaz has sat down, this is /good/ why? Because what he's about to hear is the sort of thing you should sit down for. Kotone sits down though if Golden has experiance with human the concreet she sits on crunches a bit more than it should from a human of her build. "No, so far as I know. Do you understnd the concept of alternate timelines? If you do you fallen into a place where thousands if not more of alternate timelines have fused into a massive combined universe."
Golden Topaz	Golden Topaz nods. "Yeah.. I met a few philosophers and scientists who theorized about that sort of thing.. that a number of different decisions and randome occurences, with each different outcome, createsa new universe where a different outcome occurred..." He then looks to her concrete, and at her seams on her body.. and looked ot her. "Your body isn't organic, is it? This is a place where robotics and machinery have been developed more. Where I'm from, it's the year 2016 AD..." He then rubs his forehead, pulling up his goggles to pinch the bridge of his nose, his fiery orange eyes flaring a bit. "So... this is a place where instead of different worlds.. it's like, they're all one?"
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa Says "It's true, worlds without out end. So at least you can get that part. That's often the hardest bit. Yes my body is prosethic. Well most of it and no about that year? Humm and well when you come down to it? Not everything is fused together there's a number of world floating in a void inside it. No I don't get how it works either but it does. As for Gems? I have encounted a few in my travels."
Golden Topaz	Golden Topaz seems to brighten a bit at the last comment. "Have you run into Rose Quartz? Is she still alive? Is she still fighting the Homeworld Gems? Or.." He relaxes a bit. "Or have you run into others? Garnet? Pearl? ...Bismuth?"
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa Says "Bismuth? Isn't tht a metal? No I haven't there but the other names? Yes and yes there has been some home world gems. Does the name Jasper Ring a Bell at all?" She asks tilting her head a little bit at Topaz.
Golden Topaz	Golden Topaz saddens a bit at the questioning about Bismuth, though the recognition of the other names seems promising to him. When the name Jasper is said, he slams his fist into some nearby rubble, cracking the boulder where the impact was. He grits his teeth a bit. "Yes. It rings a bell, though it sounds more liek a hunting horn." He sighs and shakes his head. "Sorry.. she and I have a bad history. She did somethign I need to pay her bakc for with interest."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa Says "She's been a problem in general but I don't know if it's the Jasper you knew or any of the others but I do know them." She's being cautious ebnough given the war and the homeworld after all she's not going to bring up Steven right now but she will not leave them out in the cold though. "So yes I know some of them, I should be able to put you into contact with them."
Golden Topaz	Golden Topaz nods slowly as he just rests on the rubble. "I'd appreciate it. THe sooner, the better, too.. I should get back to them. Being away for.. well, thousands of years probably left them a little upset with me."
Kotone Yamakawa	Kotone Yamakawa Says "Also I hate to tell you there's a fairly large scale conflict going on to be perfectly honest as well and osme of them have joined one side or the other. Well I'm aware Jasper is working with one of the other groups. Though I can't seem to raise any of them right now..." How was she calling them she had nothing visable out she's just here talking
Golden Topaz	Golden Topaz nods slowly. "If Jasper's on the other side, I want to be on this side. She needs to get brought in.. or other things." He flicks his arm up, his gem shining as a butterfly knife is thrown up into the air, coming back down to land in his hand, where he begins to twirl it between his fingers.
