Raditz     In the middle of an America, quite far away from Civilization so as to not disturb the local peoples, the topographical maps will now need to be updated to include a substancial crater that is now inhabited by a round pod. Now that the dust has settled, the pod opens out, and out climbs a tall, muscular black haired specimen of a Saiyan, with a scouter on his on his left eye. He takes his time before hovering his way out.

And then he waits, with a smirk.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran came charging in! Why? Because he heard there was a challenge going on! Some kind of fight thing and, well, it didn't take him long to find who this challenge was. His eyes narrowed and he made his way towards the creature.

He was big. "I didn't even know hair could do that..." he muttered to himself. If his hair was any sign of it, he'd be in for a tough fight. He couldn't imagine how many bubble cards he'd have to go through to wash that. "So, you're the saying? All I have to do is beat you, right?" He drew his sword and leveled it on him. Welp, time for another test of his training. He went into his stance, left foot out, sword back over his head, like a scorpion stinger. He took a slow, deep breath.

Then he charged. He was fast for a mere human, on the man in a matter of seconds. He swung the sword down once, aiming for the right shoulder, before pulling the sword back in a feint and kicking out with his left leg to the stomach.
Karian Icefang     The word of a crater being formed in the americas definately would attract attention. Today, it drew the attention of Karian and his wolf, Ygdril. Riding in together, he moves to check on the situation, and then spotted the pod and scouter. "A new Saiyan?" He asks to himself, remembering the pair he had met in the past. He approached, but cautiously. First encounters can always go either way.
Nina Windia Nina has never been involved with a Saiyan invasion.

Actually, that's kind of an understatement. She's never even met a Saiyan before, though they don't seem too weird for her to wrap her head around. She's also never been involved in a real combat event of that scale. Nina is a big fan of studying /before/ you need it, and that's why she decided to show up.

She's apparently making the last half mile the slow way. 'The slow way', in this case, is flying under her own power. Nina can fly, with her great black wings, at about the same speed a human runs if she's pushing herself - maybe a little faster, if only because she doesn't have to worry about putting a foot wrong or uneven terrain.

Right now, she's 'sprinting', about forty feet above the ground and flying flat-out, her hair streaming out behind her - her wings snap her long hair up like a banner with every wingbeat, and then it billows downward before inevitably getting pushed up again.

Nina is making pretty good time, but she's not here quite yet. She's visible at quite a distance, though, as a dark - and growing - figure some distance above the ground.
Young Arthur The boy clad in white, chain beneath his tabard and face obscured behind his helmet is wielding his steel blade today as he rides his noble steed towards the battle. His shield is as white as his clothes, and nothing marks him to be Arthur Pendragon, he joins a small distance from the others quietly, holding on to the reins of his horse as he watches and observes, taking stock of the situation before deciding on a course of action.
Crys Gattz One might find it odd for someone to claim being nearly 20 was old but for Crys's species health issues? It was something to be stunned about but she was happy to still be here and the pointy eared woman as she arrives she's knows the Saiyan species and it's good to keep people ready to deal with how they often fight. While every world is different? There have been Sayain invasions over the years. She was quick to arrive and she was particular she wore what might be better suited to clubbing on one world and she was notably missing an eye or likely so wioth the eye patch. White hair and pointy ears made up the rest of the notable things about Crys as she arrives There's a smirk on her face but she also knows how serious things are she taps on the gauntlet on her arm and a massive claw weapon appears on her main arm with a sleeve that covers up to her shoulder the thing looks like it was made to crack armor plate and in her other hand is some kind of energy pistol. Floating at her shoulder is a small mechanical looking thing. Her partner MAG.
Raditz     The Saiyan doesn't say a word for a little bit, simply reaching to the scouter and taking his time to gauge the relative strengths of those who arrived. Once he is satisfied with sizing up the resistance, he takes a moment to pop his bones a bit and says loudly to project to the audience, in a very showy manner, "I AM A SAIYAN, AND AM VERY MUCH HOSTILE! I AM VERY LIKELY TO PUNCH YOUR FACE IF YOU LOOK AT ME FUNNY!"

His attention is then drawn to Syaoran, and at the sight of the sword he grins and shifts his stance and brings his arm down to just quickly enough catch the man's leg in one, very sturdy catch.

"Let's commence the simulation then." He says, before reaching to grab Syaoran's leg in both hands, and with a ridiculous amount of strength tries to swing and throw the man off and into the crowd of others.
Karian Icefang     "Right...hostile then." Karian says. He urges Ygdril forward, and the pair ride for the Saiyan with blade and fangs bared. No shouts to the allfather or prayers of battle. He understood it was a simulation, but he was fighting for real.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran was sent flying. His eyes went wide as, well, that kind of beat even the power card. His hand flashed out. "Petals of wind, I bid thee, come to my aid! Gale!" Winds swirled around him and he was caught, dropped gently to the ground. He took a slow, deep breath before charging. "Interesting." Extreme physical prowess. Likely magical barriers. That meant there was no need to hold back.

He charged forward around, swinging his sword in both hands.

Then, a few inches from contact. "STRIKE!" Almost instantly, lightning would arc off of the blade as electricity coated it, combining with the strike at Raditz.
Young Arthur The white squire spurs on his horse as Syaoran goes flying, rushing towards the Saiyan, using his shield for cover as he approaches, intending to pass by. It's a well-practiced maneuver, and the swing of the blade is well-timed, aimed at Raditz's shoulder. Practice or no practice, that blade is sharp and the force behind it is not merely the speed of the horse, there's strong in that arm.
Nina Windia Goodness, he's loud, Nina thinks to herself as she gets closer to the crater.

Nina isn't really with any particular approaching group, if only because she's in the air and most of the other people aren't. She pulls up and backwards suddenly, actually managing to 'hover' in midair. She's not actually a very stable hoverer - she tends to bob up and down a few feet - but unlike most birds, she can do it.

"..." Well! That came quickly. But she's learning already. Nina starts to draw in magic - and then hesitates. All her spells are dangerous! Can she really use any of them in a practice situation? Rather than actually cast something, she pushes energy into the ring on her finger.

Nina's hand flares blue-white, and a ball of energy forms in her right hand. She kind of ... pushes it at Raditz despite being about thirty feet away and perhaps twenty up, discharging a rough sphere that streaks through the air at him made up of magic not channeled into a spell in particular; it impacts (either him or the ground) with kinetic force, like a big punch.
Crys Gattz Crys Gattz swaps weapons the horror claw vanishes replaced by another gaunlet with two pink energy claws forming from it the pistol remains as Crys starts to move in. "Hostile until proven otherwise some things never change." She notes wathcing Ice Fang and she wonders would he mistake her for some kind of Eldar? She hoped the hell she'd not and Li gets a look for a moment before she bolts in firing off hert pistol, it set to a trianing mode but it's clear it's going tohurt still. Raditz was giving them good information to as she pressed the attack and lunged fo him with the claw launching into a rapid combo of strikes.
Raditz     Raditz grins as the oncoming challenge approaches, and he shifts his act accordingly, with intent to deal with the two swordsmen simultaniously, but the quickest to approach is Crys who fires shots first, which he is quick to dodge out of the bolt fire from her, before turning his immediate attention to Arthur, and with both hands catches the sword as it slashes at him. Raditz grits his teeth and kicks at Arthur to shove him off, and then turns to repeat the same act with Syaoran.

Being that Li's strike is imbued with lightning magic, however, Raditz is in for a treat as he gets shocked and blasted back by the strike, sending him tumbling, and forcing him on the defensive even further.
Then Crys gets in close and Raditz grins as he tries to parry them off, with a few strikes catching him in the side. In response he tries to strike it aside and strike Crys with a heavy gut punch, to keep her on her toes.

When Nina casts her spell, though, Raditz switches up his tactics and charges up a ball of energy into his hand, and FLINGS it at the magic, to blast it out of the sky. He doesn't act on Karian yet, because he hasn't quite gunned in yet.
Karian Icefang     Karian leaps off of his wolf, letting the beast leap at Raditz and try to get a good bite onto his arm. Meanwhile, his sword comes down hard for the saiyan. Again, no words are shared. After all, isn't it said warriors don't need words?
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran smiled and moved back, allowing the other two to get in close. It was a team battle, so it was time for him to work as a team. He grabbed a few talismans and tossed them out. They'd land besides the saiyan and embed in the floor. "The power of the unstoppable force, I bid thee, come to my aid! Quake!"

The ground under Raditz would suddenly lift up and try to bind his legs in place and, basically, make him unable to jump away.

Granted, he's a SAIYAN, so that likely won't do much at all.
Crys Gattz When Raditz scores a hit on Crys? A barrier flares up for a second taking some of the bite out of the hit but she's hit pretty hard. She's not done though as she's up close she mutters something Ki of her own is channeled and she mutters "RAFOIE" there's an explosion of fire directed at Radtiz but it's also clear Crys got hit noticably so by him.

"Come on I might be old but the fight isn't out of me yet!"
Nina Windia What Nina did wasn't really a spell. It was magic energy, but she didn't focus and shape it; it's just... power, thrown in a ball.

Of course, the difference is probably academic to the non-mages. It's discharged power coming from a sorceress. That's magic, right? Right.

Nina is hesitating because, well... she breaks things with magic. It's what she does. She's hesitant to point it at someone she doesn't dislike. Also, because there's a distraction: the energy ball coming back at her. Nina dodges by the simplest means possible: she stops flying for a moment, dropping about five feet before her wings catch her.

The two energy balls hit each other, blasting each other apart in a cloud of white-blue sparks. Nina looks up at it, startled. That could have hurt! Apparently he's not playing around quite as much as she assumed, and the rest of the fight going on seems to prove that right. She'd better do /something/.

Nina begins to gather power again, raising one hand overhead; light forms around it, flowing down her body and toward her other arm, which she gestures with at Raditz. Magic flashes as the energy Nina has called up is channeled into a proper spell.

A few moments later, several chunks of ice start to condense out of a perfectly nice day, appearing several feet above Raditz. They fall, one after another, as they finish forming - but she's still holding back out of politeness. The chunks of ice sting, but that's mostly gravity's fault.

No, the real purpose is that she's using them to try to herd Raditz back toward his pod, so that he doesn't get too far away from it. That's what she'd do if it was a real attack (admittedly, she'd probably use lightning strikes), so it makes sense here, too.
Young Arthur Arthur is thrown off his horse and onto the ground, he rolls with it but can't stop himself from hitting the ground hard. When he gets back up, he already seems recovered from it, and with his face hidden it's hard to tell what impact it truly had. He takes a step forward, picks his sword back up and says. "You brute, stop wasting your energy on them, focus on the living legend that stands before you, you will not be disappointed." He pairs that by charging at the Sayian, sword pointed straight, and at the last moment he pulls it back and delivers a blow with his shield instead.
Raditz     Raditz would be lying if he said he wasn't at the very least having fun. He certainly is, but his intent on drilling some people to understand how to deal with Saiyans was legitimate. He's going to hit as hard as he needs to to prove his point.

To Karian first, he turns to deal with--OH GOD WOLF!! "ACK!!" Raditz yells as the wolf actually gets a chomp at his arm, he grits his teeth before deliberately punching the giant wolf in the face a few times to get it off, and kicks at it to send it off of him. Once the wolf is dealt with, he turns to focus on Karian, and goes wide eyed, before dashing just out of swing range. "Bad dog!" And quick-charges an energy blast to throw at his face.

Suddenly the ground gives out beneath him, and Raditz realizes his legs are bound up. "The cra--" Magic. Crap. Before he can break out, his immediate attention is dragged to the fire that engulfs him from Crys, followed by ice dropping from the sky. That's a lot of focus fire.

Well that's a lot of hurt, but he grits his teeth and roars, charging some energy up and blasting it out of his body in a local explosion to set himself free, and takes off into the sky for a brief reprieve and rockets back to the ground to give himself some distance. When Arthur challenges him though, despite his better judgement, Raditz turns and smirks. He Waits for the charge with intent to dodge towards the shielf, only to be caught off guard by the feint, the shield slamming into him, and staggering him back.

After taking a breath, Raditz stands himself back up to approach Arthur, menacingly, "Living Legend? Kid, I have no idea who you are!" He winds up for a very obvious haymaker, aiming to punch at Arthur through the shield.
Karian Icefang     Ygdril held on through one of the punches, but is dislodged by the second and third. The kick sends the poor thing flying back, but it was as stubborn as it's master. It bares it's teeth and lunges for Raditz again, claws striking out. Meanwhile, Karian's face is blasted by the energy blast and causes him to stop a moment. "One day, I'll fully understand this Ki you use." He mutters. But to his credit, he seemed to be able to fight in tandem with his wolf, as any good pack-brothers should.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran ran after the man as well. As the saiyan readied himself for the haymaker, Li held out a hand. Oh joy, more magic. "The unrelenting waves, I bid thee, come to my aid! Crash!" Suddenly water would rise up, attempting to bind around the Saiyan.

Now, while this normally wouldn't be an issue, after a moment it turned to ice and attempted to freeze him in place, an even stronger binding than the earth had been. It helped that his ice magic was far stronger than his earth magic.
Young Arthur Arthur sees the haymaker coming, of course, and he's not fool enough to take it straight up. He makes it look like he's going to, however, only the smallest details in his stance prove that he's prepared to move aside at the very last moment, keeping his arm in place to take the hit while he's stepped to the side, then immediately follows it by striking with the pommel of his sword at the back of Raditz's head.
Crys Gattz Crys Gattz is able to get a very nice hit in nd Crys is attemping now to leap back from Raditz not wanting to stay close for too long. "You really should read more Radtiz." Seems to be what she has to say on the whole comment to Arthur he made. She's glad that the group seems to know what they are doing then again? She's been so focused on Ragol and the remants of Corel? She might as well /be/ a new face to the Union at this point. The weapons in her hands vanish and a pair of twin sabers appear in hand the beams are blue this time and she smirks a little bit before she charges back in to try and mix it up more with Radtiz. "Don't tell me your getitng slow?!"
Nina Windia The advantage Nina has is that, in the air, she's mostly out of Raditz's easy reach a lot of the time. Not that he /can't/ fly, but he's so tied down with other people that chasing after her is probably a bad idea, tactically.

Nina herself has lowered to just a few feet above the ground. She's low enough that her wingbeats kick up dust from beneath her feet as she moves around. Down into the crater, briefly (she doesn't worry about broken ground) and then back out as Raditz flies around, returning to slam his fists against Arthur's shield.

Nina winces at that. But they told her to let loose a little more, and against her better judgement, Nina draws in more power. She holds it, though - holds it until Raditz breaks off from the crowd a little bit, energy swirling as she tries to hold it in. It's an effort -

But then there's a clear moment, and Nina releases it, sweeping her hand in a wide arc with the blue-white halo of magic dancing around her fingers.

A literal tornado springs up out of nowhere; a whirling mass of air tears from Raditz's left, through him, and off to the right, ripping itself apart as Nina directs it. It's /strong/, powerful enough to pick him up and throw him, though it is thankfully not shredding or slicing air; it's 'just' a whirling storm. It might even pick up some of Li's ice and spin it around, which only makes it less pleasant to be in.
Raditz     Admittedly, Raditz kind of made the Haymaker obvious for Arthur, but there's also the fact that Raditz has always been more of a powerhouse than a speed demon. The pommel to the back of his head is just hard enough to dizzy him. The kid was at least good enough to keep Raditz busy, that's for certain, and staggering.

Staggering back to Karian, Wolf, and Crys, as Raditz starts to take more cuts and bruises, with each attempt to dodge one strike, a bite from a wolf or a cut from a blade finds him elsewhere. Each punch he throws out to counter-attack leaves him open to yet another. He growls before pushing himself back and proceeds to charge a massive flurry of Ki blasts, pelting them at Crys, Karian, and even at Arthur, each blast explosive in their own right.

Once again, though, magic catches him at another disaadvantage, and now he's covered in Ice, frostburn biting into his legs as he's kepts bound, while auddenly a tornado RIPS him out, and the ice, out of the ground and sends him flying and crashing back into the crater.

The crash does do a bit of work for the Saiyan, freeing him once more, but he's worn out, and doesn't have much fuel left in the tank, and this is without turning into a Super Saiyan right now. So Raditz demonstrates what a Saiyan would do when backed into a corner.

He launches himself into the air, puting himself into the sky and cups his hands at his side, as he roars, "KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MEEEEEEEEE.........." Energy gathering in his hands.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MEEEEEEEEEEEE....." The ball of energy getting bigger as he barely contains it. He deliberatly holds this for several moments, to give the group some time to come up with a game plan... And once he's given them a good long several seconds....

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" The Saiyan throws his hands out and unleashes the massive energy wave.
Karian Icefang     Karian grimmaced as he and his wolf got as good as they gave to the saiyan king. But the moment Karian heard him say 'Kaaaaa' He knew what was coming. With a quick whistle, He mounted up and grabbed the nearest person. Ygdril then would proceed to get the hell out of the way with his pack-mate and anyone else, and put them out of range.
Nina Windia The list of things Nina can do on the offense is really quite impressive. The short-lived tornado was not even the most effective (read: destructive) of the spells she knows, but some of the others she only 'knows' in a theoretical sense because she's never had a good reason to even think about trying to cast them, and others she simply doesn't want to cast because, well... this is practice, sort of.

The list of things Nina can do to defend herself includes 'fly out of the way' and 'hope'.

Nina's eyes widen at the sudden gathering of energy. She can /feel/ that, even though it isn't really magic as she knows it; it's more like sheer willpower and energy given form. She can't even create the simplest of magical shields no matter how hard she tries, so she certainly isn't going to make something to defend herself from something like the Kamehameha... and, honestly, she doesn't have much combat experience. She's working on instinct, now - instinct and training in a particular type of magic.

She rather abruptly stops flying entirely, dropping out of the sky. It's not a long drop - Nina was only about five feet up - so she lands lightly on her feet. Then she does two things at once.

The first is an insistent tug at Raditz's power. When she casts it at a mage, or even some kinds of animals and monsters, her spell pulls magic away from them and toward her. She isn't counting on it doing much to his ki blast except maybe cause a minor distraction; it's just the only spell she can think of that would be useful.

The second is throw herself flat and roll into the crater. If he's pointing up at most of the group, the blast might go over her head now. ...right?
Young Arthur Arthur thus gets smacked to the side by the blast, and gets up to see Raditz start charging up that beam. His horse returns to him and the boy removes a large slab of stone from the saddle bags, with a sword sticking out. And as Raditz charges, he incants. "He whosever pulls this Sword out of this Stone and Anvil is rightwise born king of Britain."

The swords lights up like a bonfire, a brilliant light as he pulls Calibourne out of its scabbard, and he rests the scabbard on the ground, holding it for its defensive properties while he points his sword skywards, and when the Kamehameha wave is unleashed he responds with a swift strike of his blade, the divine right to rule validating itself in a wave of solid light that he throws to counter the energy in that Kamehameha.

It's not enough to stop it, but it dampens the blow enough that when the Kamehamaha hits Arthur's shield, his natural endurance magnified by that powerful scabbard pushes him back into the ground, causing a pained outcry, but when it's over with, he's on his knees, panting but still standing.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran followed the game plan. Or at least, tried. He raced behind Arthur. However, as he did, he drew more talismans. He tossed them out. "Quake! Gale!" The ground rose up and over them, forming a protective half dome in front of them to try and block the blast. On top of that, fierce gale winds formed around the edge. All of it was in an attempt to dampen the assault coming at them for when Arthur took it.

Li assumed the guy could take it. He knew from experience the boy was tougher than he looked. Especially in that armor of his.
Crys Gattz It was time tonot hold back at all Radtiz wanted a real right so she was giving him one. Well there's two weapons she's not usingbut one's bad for her health and the other is it's made to maim things and today is training day not maim old comrade day. She however now fires a few shots form her pistol she intercepts a few blast other hit her an the barrier comes up. It doesn't stop all of damage but it's clear that it's protecting her from some of it. Then comes the attack? Wait did he say Ka... oh Light he's using /that/ move/ Crys now is tyring to get the hell out of the way from the energy wave and leaps with eveyrthing she has!
Raditz     The Colletive protection from Syaoran's spells and Arthur's Sword In The Stone Magickery do a lot to keep the energy wave from explodinating the collective bunch straight away. Which is good because Raditz would have some awkward questions to answer. On top of that, Nina's 'Tug' actually does a little to throw Raditz's aim off, the blast veering off to the side towards the end. In the end, though the collective protection might have faltered, it endured long enough for the Kamehameha to run its course.

Raditz at this point is panting heavily, having thrown out his last big shot for a while, before finally dropping to the ground and grinning. "And there you have it. From this point, you proceed to overwhelm the enemy Saiyan, now that he's on the last legs of energy. Congratulations, you survived a Saiyan Attack.
Nina Windia Nina remains lying on her front while she hears the blast goes somewhere other than directly through her. Which is good for her, because she doesn't want to be vaporized by a giant beam of ki!

Eventually, though, she pushes herself up. Her wings flap once as she clears the grit off them, rising at least to a kneeling position. Her eyes are still a little wide - she hasn't done a lot of 'real' combat, most of what she knows is strictly academic.

She lets out a great sigh of relief. That was enough for her, thank you! "Are you all right?" she asks, anyhow, because she can't not. Even though there's nothing she can do about it if someone isn't.
Karian Icefang     Karian re-emerges when the wave was over. He smirks and walks right up to Raditz, and hands him what had to be the biggest mug of ale he could conceivably carry without hassle. Ygdril, meanwhile, trots over and playfully tries to tackle the saiyan king and give him wolf kisses, but will settle for just a friendly pat. Karian, on the other hand, hands Raditz the booze. "Well fought. You really need to come by the Fang and train the Blood Claws. We'll make true warriors out of them."
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran nodded and sheathed his sword. He then walked up to Raditz, put his fist to his palm and bowed politely. "Thank you for the fight. It was an excellent training exercise. I cannot deny being somewhat impressed by your skills." He's also beginning to note that EVERYONE he knows seems to have a finisher of some sort. He wonders if he should try to get one.
Young Arthur When the training is over, Arthur shoves the sword back into the large slab of stone that he'd been leaning on to endure the attack. He's already looking somewhat better than initially, though he still looks ragged. "That was a good fight, sir." He sounds to be in a good mood, and casually picks up that massive rock. Now the chaos is over it's easy to tell that stone should be heavier than he is, three inch thick, six inch wide and three feet long; and yet he lifts it like it weighs little more than any other scabbard.
