Owner Pose
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran collapsed to his knees as the grimm bear-like creature disappeared into dust. It was all he could do to stand after that, surrounded by the destruction of his battle.

He'd accidentally walked into a whole herd of the creatures. Dozens of them. Well, okay, about six. But it had still been a bit much, even for him. Fire, lightning and ice had scoured the area but, finally, he sat victorious, sweat pooling off his body.
Finna The soft pitter-patter of feet crunching on growth is the only warning that something yet approaches the exhausted heir of the Li clan. But it's no grimm that approaches. Instead... an animal that should not be here carefully treads closer, step by step.

A curious-looking fox. Unlike the typical red-brown color of the common variant, this one has grey-brown fur and startlingly icy-blue eyes. To the trained mages eyes, its ears and tail seem to almost sparkle with a silvery shen.

And this wild-looking creature... actually seems quite tame on approach. The creature's head cants and it whines much like a dog. Questioning if he's alright, perhaps?
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran glanced towards the fox. Normally he'd be more... how to put it, stand offish. But, for some reason, he found he LIKED this dog. He gave it a small smile and gently held out his hand. "Here," he said, friendily before he sheethed his sword. "I won't hurt you." The voice was familiar, but the tone likely wasn't.
Finna The fox does react much like a dog, starting to pant a little, tongue lolling out. She - as it's very clear with a glance even unintentionally, darts forward and licks the outstretched hand... then springs up on her hind legs and delicately supports herself by placing her forepaws on it.

And Li will quickly find his nose in danger of being licked once!

Well at least the fox started wagging its tail. It's clearly happy!

"So I -did- find you!" It then says. A voice that might be a tiny bit familiar. A girl's voice. Clear as a bell, but speaking a very rough tongue... something close to old norse.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran blinked a few times, his mouth falling open. Then he realized whatever THIS was, it was talking. "Errr... yes. Yes you did. And... you are?" His mind was all '.... the heck?' right now. But he was sure it was a good dog. He didn't know why, he just had this... feeling. He gently reached out and gently scritched behind its ears.
Finna Once again coming off like a tame animal, the vixen pushes her head into the scritching appreciatively, not bothering to respond until it stops! "Don't recognize my voice? Finna Snowdancer! Came looking for a nobleman of China... found a SORCERER nobleman of China." Boy does she sound impressed!

Or more like she might've struck gold...

The fox takes a few steps back, seats herself... and begins to change.

In a matter of moments, her fur's receded, replaced by human flesh. The remaining fur migrates to her head, sprouting into a long plume of white hair. Oddly, the ears remain vulpine... and as the rest of her body changes to a young woman in her late teens, garbed in a somewhat risque assortment of hunting leathers and tribal decorations, her tail oddly remains. The whole transformation takes about five seconds.

    "A cute one too."
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran blinked and stared. Then his cheeks turned bright red and he quickly looked away. "N-n-n-not cute. Errr..." Now SHE was cute. And HE was becoming smitten already. And it was obvious, he kept his eyes away from her, his face almost completely red and...

Oh my gosh he'd even adapted a respectful seating position, his hands over his knees, which were together. Oh gosh if Sakura could see him now she'd... probably actually be understanding. Because that's who she was.
Finna Finna sprouts a grin. There's certainly no ill will there. It's a happy one. But one can't help but feel something playfully wicked behind it either. Seems Li's reaction pleased her on a few levels!

Because just look, her tail's still wagging a bit!

"Li Syaoran, hm?" She lets the question hang in the air. "Since I clearly didn't have my radio on for a good time, I'm really late to introductions... been meaning to meet more of the people I'm working with. Did I catch you at a bad time?"

    .... That grin.

She's ENJOYING seeing him blush, seriously.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran squirmed in his seat and scratched his chin. "I, err, n-no, it's nothing. I-I'm fine. I was just training. Light training. I, err, I-I wasn't doing anything t-too difficult. M-magic like that r-really isn't hard for someone like me."

Oh he was squirming. Very much squirming as his cheeks just flared with red. "So, ummm, n-nice to meet you, F-finna-chan..."
Finna "...It's NOT hard?" Finna blinks a few times, lips parting in surprise. But the grin returns. "Then I was really unfortunate to have not been around earlier! What brings a skilled sorcerer to the Union's cause?"

She ends up giggling under her breath and leaning in a little. "Someone's not used to being around girls.~"
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran turned even redder. "I-I'm just fine around girls! A-and, err, S-sakura-chan. She is... kind of a member. And I am sort of her guardian. So I assist the union w-when they require it." Oh gosh he lookedl ike he was going to flee to the hills.

Fortunately Finna hadn't seen him around other girls yet. She'd realize just how rare him acting like this was.
Finna By this point Finna's forced to purse her lips a few times. She does withdraw the invasive lean though, and the grin diminishes to just a friendly smile. "Well! If it's just me that gets you blushing like this, thank you for the honest compliment!"

And she seems to calm down from there. "One of Sakura's friends.... hah, don't think I've been on a mission with her yet..."
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran turned even redder. Somehow. "I-I AM NOT BLUSHING!" His voice actually CRACKED. He then squeaked and covered his mouth, before coughing into his hand. "I-I mean. I am not... blushing. It's merely a sun burn." Oh he was the worst liar.

"Sakura-chan is amazing. If you'd met her, you'd know. Trust me. She's... one of a kind..." It was obvious who he was swooning over in the end.
Finna "Oh.... so that's why you're here." Finna murmurs juuust loud enough to be heard, almost mock conspiratorially. "... well, good luck with that pursuit," Is her whispered words, a hand cupped up to her mouth. As if anyone around would overhear.

Though she soon withdraws the hand and instead claos her together. "I'd heard China has... or had some things in common with a lot of nations of my world. Another person mentioned Rome... I've not found anyone from a living Rome, just a very loud ghost... so this is a first for me!"
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran nodded, then blinked. "Pursuit? I'm not chasing anyone. I'm merely training here because I need to get stronger. The school nearby has proved to be quite excellent for such things, i advise looking into it if you desire to grow in strength as well." He paused and looked down, his cheeks burning again. "While I am... strong... I've since learned that there are still many, many others who are... many times stronger." He sounded almost depressed when he said that.
Finna Finna's eyes go wide. How on the nose about things could a young man be?!

Her shoulders soon slump. "Hah... yes. There's always something greater out there. ... Just was reminded of that myself yesterday." She can't help but hiss a little, and rub one hand as if remembering something NASTILY painful.

"Yet another school! Strength though... what kind of strength? The power to fight enemies...?"

Her tail squirms weirdly... and extends at prodigious speeds, becoming exceedingly fluffy. It swiftly whirls around Li and will loosely engulf him up to his torso in soft white fluff if not stopped. "To get people all shook up?"

.... She's doing this on puuuuuurpose.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran blinked and then squirmed in the tail a little. "Please stop that," he mumbled softly. He then looked to her. "Strength to... protect the one who means the most to me. So she doesn't have to worry when she protects everyone else," he muttered, before trying to pull away. "Thats why I need to train and become stronger. At least... strong enough."

There it was, that small hint of pain and... despair to his tone.
Finna "Bother. The cute ones are always taken or uninterested." Finna pouts. Her tail loosens and withdraws, shrinking back to normal size. The girl's lips do purse. But she could sound far less disappointed... and she doesn't.

"These people who are so devoutly for protecting EVERYONE, even those they haven't met... I dooooon't understand it!" She exclaims whimsically, in a 'it just can't be helped!' tone. "... Just wanting to protect one nation's an awful lot... but Luna smiles on it nonetheless."
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran shook his head. "If you'd ever met Sakura-chan... she... well..." He closed his eyes. "She's... special. Very special. She's the kind of person who could only know you for a few minutes, but make you her best friend. No matter how horrible a person you were or the horrible things you'd done in the past, she'd always, always be there for you and want to do everything she can to help you."

He crossed his arms. "She's amazing. In every single sense of the word. She's kind, sweet, beautiful, innocent and pure in ways most people can't even begin to comprehend." He had it bad.
Finna "Well, excuse me for not being innocent or pure." The foxgirl exclaims teasily, sticking her tongue out the corner of her mouth and donning a sly, knowing look. Maybe a bit exasperated there. She sighs. Then twitches a finger.

"I'll have to meet someone who's praises are sung this sincerely! So... this academy, what does it teach?"
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran glanced towards the school in the distance. "Fighting, I believe. I'm not actually enrolled so much as merely visiting. I attend the school in my home dimension. I merely come here on weekends."

He nodded. "If you wish to meet her, you'll like her. Trust me. Everyone does." In fact, his family liked her probably a bit too much. "She is absolutely adorable."
Finna Finna can't help but laugh at Li's continued praises! But only for a few moments. Her attention swerves towards the school....

"Fighting's not something I need help with..." But there's a wistfulness in her tone. SOMETHING clearly needs help...
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran cocked an eye and looked over to her. "What do you require help with?" he asked, holding out his hand. "I am well versed in a number of different styles and arts, perhaps I can offer my assistance?" A shame he wasn't bishie. He'd totally sparkle otherwise.
Finna A deep frown crawls its way across Finna's face. "I made a big mistake... accused some people of a lot of things. Kept trying to make them understand something. And all the while I'd forgotten to try and understand them at all first..."

... That answer might not be terribly helpful.
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran nodded. "In that case, you'd definitely want to meet with Sakura-chan. She's... a lot better at those kinds of things than I am. But..." He crossed his arms and tried to think. How would Sakura do it? Ugh, he felt dirty doing this. And rediculous.

Buuuut... "If... you... ugh.... talk to them and... tell them how you truly... feel... I'm sure your... heart will... reach theres." Oh gosh that was hard.
Finna Finna's breathing outright stops. Her head sweeeerves around until she's facing Li head-on... giving him one heck of a Look.

A kind of dumbfounded look. 'Are you for real?', it all but seems to say. Finna's lips part as if to speak... then clamp tight.

Thenshe slumps both her shoulders and heaves a sigh. "Someone saying that where I'm fromw ould be laughed out of town. Around here, I wonder if it's true."
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran sighs and face palms, his cheeks burning red. "L-listen, i-it's not something I'd normally say, okay? It's what Sakura-chan would say!" Then he looked off to the side. "But... I guess she's normally right. I know that better than anybody. She's smarter than she looks..."
Finna It's pretty apparent Finna can't help but tease. Because when she recovers her composure, she lightly points a finger Li's way while turning her side to him... and singsongs, "But you said it!~" Whatever that's supposed to imply. His infatuation, or how silly the saying might be?

    She isn't making it clear.

    Maybe both.

"... well... will just have to meet her, hm..."
Li Syaoran Li Syaoran nodded. "Yes I did say it. That doesn't make it any less silly," he then got to his feet. "I have more training to do. If you want to meet with Sakura... well... talk to Tomoyo. She's on the union chat. Maybe she can set up a meeting between the two of you."
