Ainsley     Ainsley lives out in the Crystal Valley, and she managed to pick a spot with an abundance of fire-aspected crystals. She's seated in a fold-up wooden chair with some cloth straps, her tail stuck out of the back of it. She has a little wooden table next to her, a little skewed thanks to how uneven the ground is in this spot, though it does look like she picked the flattest spot she possibly could. She has a tea set with some cookies set up, and an empty chair nearby. It's a spot overlooking one of the large glowing lakes, the one near her home a faint pink color thanks to the element that permeates this section of the Crystal Valley.

She has a smile on her face. Nothing makes a calm evening better than a nice view~ She is expecting company, though, clearly.
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga has been to this place several times, but still it surprises her with its other-wordly charm. It is lovely, in an alien way. There were certainly no places like this in her world. She'd have stretched her imagination thinking of this place even in dreams.

The sound of a horse approaches, echoing through the crystals as Inga approaches Ainsley's spot by the lake. The wisewoman is astride a lovely grey an white horse, an elegant looking creature with a leather saddle, perfectly sized for the petite Inga. Inga is clearly dressed for colder climes, and nearly the first thing she does after sliding down from the saddle is remove her cloak. "I nearly forgot how much warmer it is here," she says, removing her gloves as well. "Not that I am complaining, tis a welcome change," she says, taking her walking stick before ambling over toward Ainsley. "How do you fare my friend?" she asks, taking the seat placed nearby.
Ainsley Ainsley's gaze turns to the sound of a horse. More used to the 'WARK!!!' of a chocobo, the horse's noises draw a bright-eyed curiosity from her. Seeing Inga climb down from it, she straightens up in her seat and pops a cooking into her maw for chewing while her friend approaches and speaks to her. "I'm doing well, thank you," she replies, her soft voice always so pleasant to the ears these days, far contrasting her reptilian appearance. Though, perhaps not, she seemed rather gentle for a reptile, no claws or even bumpy spots or teeth.

"Did you want to talk about how we were going to address the Ophelia problem?" she wondered, getting right down to brass tacks, as it were. "I have an idea, but I'm wondering about what you or the others might've cooked up."
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga reaches to pour herself some tea, blinking to Ainsley. Right down to it then!

Inga nods. "Ja, I do. It is clear that something needs to be done and I fear if we don't deal with it now...more people will get hurt," she replies, taking a cautious sip of tea, hoping it isn't too hot.

"When she took me...I had a vision. I have some idea of how we will do this...but not the details. You see, the girl she once was has not been erased entirely. She is still there. I do not know precisely how to pull her out, though I have tried. I know her mind. I know her past. We must be able to use that. What do you have in mind?" she asks.
Ainsley Ainsley looks astounded, and breathes a sigh of relief when she's told about what Inga had seen when the prophet tells her of what is deep within Ophelia. So Ainsley gathers her own cup of tea, and flicks her tongue into it to think about what she is going to say next.

"We simply need to wake up her true self, to drive back all the sorrow and hate that wraps her being. And what better way to reach her true heart than a Communication Wizard?" Ainsley grins toward Inga, a manic look like she knows this plan will probably have violently dangerous consequences and she really wants to see what happens. She is definitely a wizard. "I will be the conduit. Using my magic, I will gather your knowledge of her self. We will need to agitate her, however, using music to counteract her own. In that state, her inner self may be closest to the surface. And then I will strike, using your emotions and knowledge, and try to draw it out of her, to show her hope and light that she can't see otherwise."

"In short: I want to hit her with a hope bomb."

Tea sip~
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga listens over her tea, head slightly tilted, dark eyes bright and keen and somewhat amused. A witch and a wizard meet over tea, and shenanigans are bound to ensue.

Inga laughs when she comes to the end, shaking her head. "Yes...I thought it would be something like that. I think we may need more help, but there should be no shortage of that. Ophelia has pissed off a great many people," Inga replies.

"I know just how to agitate her--I've used this before and it has always proved potent. Ophelia...you have to literally kill her with kindness. Open the wound then give her sympathy. It will not be easy....but I think we must surprise her. I can give you and whomever else a ward of invisibility and I will draw her out. She made an offer to me...I will pretend to accept. Then I will trap her in a magic circle....or perhaps Harry would be able to assist there. Then...you can hit her with all you have," she says.

"The music I think might be a key as well...if we could weave magic into someone's song to counteract Ophelia..."
Ainsley "Then we get a singer or musician. Yuna might be able to work with us. I can weave some magic into the spell to make it more distracting for Ophelia, maybe even disrupt her abilities with it," Ainsley says, tapping her jaw in thought with two of her fingers. "The circle would only bind her as long as we kept her from targetting one of you. We would need to act quickly, and we must bring those that will not disrupt the trap before it can be sprung."

"And... I might have to physically touch Ophelia for this magic to work," she admits. "The last time I did something like this..." She pulls her coat aside and rubs at the scar in her middle from being stabbed when she saved Dragon from Teacher's malicious reprogramming. "She isn't going to let me do this without coming away with some damage."
Inga Freyjasdottir Inga frowns. "I think a circle will hold her provided we can surprise her with it...but yes, she will fight us," she agrees with a sigh. Inga looks to the scar Ainsley reveals, shaking her head. "I do not like it. If anyone should take the brunt of her wrath it should be me," she says. But there may be no help for it. "I will give you ward beforehand, if that is how this must be done," she ammends.

"I do not think we should involve too many people, indeed. We can't have her suspicious," Inga sighs, sipping her tea. Jodis, her horse, waits patiently, experimentally licking a crystal to see if maybe it's sugar. No such luck for the horse.

"I did think Yuna might be a good choice, yes. And I know she is willing for I spoke to her about the possibility."
