Princess Peach It's a beautiful sunny day with a few fluffy clouds in the sky, warm but not hot, a perfect day to be outside. Peach is excited to be spending the day together with a friend and can guess at what the plans may be considering they are meeting at a shopping center which is in an area full of awesome beaches. She arrives wearing a pastel pink sundress and matching flip-flops and carrying a small purse with a super mushroom pattern on it.
Ferham      Ferham has been waiting for this a bit, she's standing in the shopping center waiting for Peach to arrive, in full armor despite the sun and the heat around here, she seemed to do alright either way. She wanted Peach to be able to recognize her right off the bat, anyway.

"Your highness, it's been a while," Ferham smiled and gave Peach a bit of a bow, before gesturing for her to come with her. "I wanted to do a little bit of shopping before we hit the beaches for the evening, besides, I think I might be needing a swimsuit myself," Fer gestured down at her personal armor suit and smiled a little. She was genuinely happy and pleased to see Peach again, also glad that Bowser hadn't apparently tried to make any moves on her... yet. It would definitely complicate their social relationship a bit if she had to try and foil her own supposed comrade's plans, or at least try to.

Ferham would lead Peach into a large botique that was more or less a Macy's, before stepping up to the counter. Looks like she'd had something reserved..?
Princess Peach Princess Peach smiles brightly as she spots Ferham, her ponytail bouncing as she quickens her pace to arrive shortly to the spot where she was waiting. "It has been too long Ferham, how are you? Also we're going swimming? That sounds wonderful, though I suppose that means I need a swimsuit myself. I wouldn't have guessed swimming was something you did, being metal and all. You are at least waterproof I hope?" She asks with a little bit of concern as she follows Ferham's lead into the botique. "Wow, this looks like a really nice place."
Ferham      "Of course, that's why I prepared in advance," Ferham grinned, nodding to the saleswoman, who seemed a little weirded out by Ferham's armor getup, but she still went off and brought back a long wide white box, as Ferham paid for the layaway costs. "I'm waterproof, and airtight, of course, and I'll be needing one of these too, but I want you to go try this on, in one of the changing rooms?" she handed off the long white cardboard box, it was a clothes box, basically--and it felt fairly light. Likely not a dress or anything like that...

Of course, what Peach would find when she got into that changing room was that the contents in question were a lovely low-cut pink one-piece swimsuit and a large matching sun bonnet, the swimsuit's length clad in mushrooms, coins, even a star man over the left cup area of the outfit. It even fastened around the waist with a white sash that looked like it had coinblock eyes on the front! It was cute, adorable, and just a bit sexy.
Princess Peach Princess Peach nods to Ferham and smiles as she assures her that she is waterproof, but raises an eyebrow at the long white box, particularly as Ferham hands it to her and she can feel how light it is. "You really planned this out, I'm impressed, and touched." Peach says warmly with a wink before heading off to the women's changing area. Her eyes light up as she opens the box and sees what is inside, quickly undressing and putting on her gift. She checks herself out in the mirror and grins a bit, then slides her dress into the box and steps back into her flipflops and finally comes back out into the store. With a bright smile beaming at Ferham, she comments happily. "It's perfect! I love it! You also got my size perfectly." She adds the last part with a bit of a grin. "So, what next?"
Ferham      "I thought you like it, so I had it ordered special, for you," Ferham smiled, apparently quite enjoying how happy it made Peach and how great it looked on her. She nodded. "I have an excellent eye for dimensions with clothing, I've found--comes from being a Reploid," she put a finger to her chin as she thought about what to do next, then her eyes lit up, snapping her gloved fingers. "I almost forgot, I need something, do lend a suggestion if you have any, I'm going to have to find something in my size too, I'm a little bigger than average, and all that," and she was, too, at least six-feet tall and with a curvy, mature build.

"Well then, this will just take a moment..." Fer stepped off to the swimsuit section.
Princess Peach Princess Peachnods to Ferham. "Well, it is a lovely gift. I'm sure I'll be grabbing some attention when we hit the beach." She says with a bit of a grin forming again. Then following Ferham into the swimsuit section, she ponders the swimsuit options for her reploid friend. "Well, your suit under your armor is all black right? Any swimsuit is going to look a little strange over a black suit rather than skin I think, but you could embrace the contrast with something in a light color that will really pop. Pink, blue, bright yellow, something like that. What do you think?"
Ferham      Ferham blushes a little bit as she tries to explain in the best way possible for Peach. "Well, it would go on under this," she plucked at her undersuit, which was black and form fitting, it showed at her arm and thigh areas. "So don't worry about it, I can take it off, if I really want to," Ferham demonstrated by flashing her armor suit off, leaving her without it, and just standing there in her form-fitting black undersuit.

"It's no trouble, I just don't always keep spare outfits with me, blue, hmm... I wonder," the idea of the contrast was interesting, she realized, and would go to select a royal blue one-piece with a bit of a little cutout around the chest area in the shape of a diamond to show some cleavage. Otherwise it was a fairly normal one-piece, however strikingly shiny. Expensive, too--but Fer took care of that. She added in some black foam sandals with it, and she was good to go.

"I brought a cooler with me as well, water and some alcoholic beverages, if you'd prefer, Princess," she smiled.
Princess Peach Princess Peach blushes a bit herself as Ferham explains. "Oh, excuse me then, I wasn't really sure if your undersuit was somehow part of you or something. I guess I'm learning more about reploids today." She says with a chuckle, and watches as Ferham picks out a swimsuit, and gives a thumbs up for her decision. "I don't know if that would look great on me, but I'm sure you'll look stunning in it. I guess we're set for some beach fun then! I can't wait!"
Ferham      "Oh don't worry, you have plenty of time to learn," Ferham grinned, heading out of the store now with her cooler in tow, now wearing her swimsuit and sandals. It was just a short walk down to the beach, and they could unroll towels and umbrellas and sit in the shade. She was glad for the sandals, the temperature of the golden sands down here were quite a bit hot, same went for the umbrella.

"It's nice to be able to get some time to relax," Ferham nodded, setting their towels down--Fer's was plain white, while Peach's was actually a golden mario-block patterened affair, Fer had likely gotten her one with the swimsuit. The silence and peace was nice, though something nagged at Ferham, making her feel like this was the calm before the storm, somehow.
Princess Peach Princess Peach follows Ferham out of the store and chuckles a bit. "As long as we're friends I can, so I'd hope there is plenty of time." She replies to her comment about reploid learning. As they make their way toward the beach, Peach lets her eyes wander a bit, enjoying the scenery and seeing what's around. Her flipflops don't protect her feet from the hot sand quite as well as Ferham's sandals, but they at least block most of the heat. After helping to set up their spot on the beach, she stretches out on her towel and reaches to grab an alcoholic beverage from the cooler. "It is nice. The Mushroom Kingdom is a pretty easy kingdom to run on a good day, compared to lots of other places, but it's still nice to get away for a bit. Toadsworth is usually happy to keep an eye on things if I need to leave for a bit. He has experience too, since he temporarily ran the kingdom when I was a little girl."
Ferham      "Friendships have survived between factions and more drastic things than that," Ferham shrugged, waling close to Peach protectively as she strutted down to the beach. Ferham set the cooler down and would help by handing Peach her drink--likely a mike's hard lemonade, or twisted tea, or similar--using her thumb and robot strength to pop the cap right off for her before handing it off. Ferham sighed in relaxation and laid back down on her towel, her arms folded behind her head.

"You don't hate being royalty? I'd have thought it requires a lot of responsibilities," Fer peered over to Peach, nodding to her. "I can see why you would like to get away like this, I like it too," she smiles a bit.
Princess Peach "It does put a lot of responsibilities on me, even perhaps a bit more now with the Multiverse to consider. I have to decide on policy for various things, resolve problems that pop up within the kingdom as well as those that stem from elsewhere but effect the people of the kingdom. I also work out the kingdom's budget, make sure the infrastructure is maintained, and more, I don't want to bore you though. Thankfully as I said, big problems are rare, particularly with how quiet Bowser has been lately..." Peach answers before sipping at her hard lemonade and looking out at the roaring surf. "That water does look nice, so clean, and it probably feels even better than it looks."
Ferham      "Yeah, the big lizard isn't going to bother you when I'm around," Ferham cracked open her own bottle of malt and tipped it back. The taste was fine, and the alcohol and sugar would break down better than some other things inside her. "You want to go swimming? I'll join you, if you want," Fer nodded a little, she'd likely bring her drink too, robots--they didn't give too much of a care, when it came to things like that. "If I'd suggest perhaps bring some more sturdy footwear next time, Princess--those foam thong sandals likely won't protect you from too much," Fer leaned down and ran a hand over Peach's foot, noting the small size and softness of it.

"I'm a bit of a safety nag, as you can see, my apologies," she grinned.
Princess Peach Princess Peach nods. "Sure, I'd love to go for a swim, but I'd rather finish my drink first, don't want to risk dropping it in the water and inadvertently littering. But you're right, maybe next time I'll wear some sandals or beach shoes. The sand is scorching indeed." She flexes her foot a bit as Fer runs a hand over it. "I'm glad you care for my safety so much though. It's comforting to have someone in the Confederacy looking out for me, though I wouldn't want you to risk yourself to help me if it came to that."
Ferham      "Oh, sure," Ferham didn't mind, it meant more time spent kicking back and hanging out with a friend of hers, why would she? "Yeah, that's what I assumed would be a good solution," she kept herself sitting up as she gently ran her hand over Peach's foot as it flexed like that. "You probably might want to see about a massage, sometime, what with those low-heeled pumps you're always wearing," Fer grins, before she leans herself back a bit more, relaxin' with Peach.

"Well, I'd protect you as much as I could, without disobeying a direct order from my superiors, if it helps?" she nodded, then shrugged. "I suppose you can take care of yourself too," she admitted.
Princess Peach Princess Peach nods to Ferham, listening as she casually sips at her drink. "Right, I don't want you getting into trouble with your own faction over me. I surely can take care of myself, at least most of the time. I was already working on trying to stand up to Bowser shortly before my world unified with the Multiverse, and I've certainly grown a lot since then with all I've seen and helped with. I feel more capable of defending myself and my people than I ever have." She says with a smile as she lays back on the towel.
Ferham      "That's true, I don't want to either, believe me," Ferham nodded slowly, sipping at her chilled alcohol. "As long as you say you can take care of yourself, then I feel relieved for that," she smiled. She relaxed back against the beach towel she'd been lying on, letting the sun get in contact with her skin, likely cooking it a bit bronze if she sat in it too long. "Are you thinking of getting a tan out here, Princess?" she looked over to Peach, quirking a brow at her royal friend there.
Princess Peach "I just hope that Bowser isn't cooking up some crazy plan that ends up taking me by complete surprise or something... He's been so quiet, at least from my perspective, and I don't exactly expect that he's turned over a new leaf and gone all peaceful on me, as much as that would be nice... But that's not really what I want to be thinking about when we're having a day together. A bit of a tan might be nice sure, but I don't want to get sunburned either." Peach replies before finishing off her drink and burying the base of the bottle in the sand a bit so it wouldn't go anywhere.
Ferham      "If he is, I'll try to put a wrench in it, if I can," Ferham smiled a little. "Not a fan of people kidnapping my friends," Ferham blinked a little, before turning her umbrella to give the two of them some more shade. "You're right, too much UV exposure could give you skin cancer, as well," Fer, ever concerned, doesn't seem to like the idea of her getting sunburnt, either.

"So, you want to go into the water, then?" she noticed Peach getting finished with her drink before she upturned her drink and drained the remainder of the contents, likely gulping a bit of it down, even. Ferham smiled as she pulled herself up, repeating what she saw Peach do with her bottle by pushing it down into the sand, reaching down to help Peach up. They were just gonna have a good time this afternoon and relax a bit, and likely do some swimming. Ferham had realized that it was important to treasure the little things like this, it seemed.
