Nagato     It's daylight hours, just after one PM out in the Great Ocean. There's an iteration of Japan showing Mt. Fuji upon the skyline today and there's... only two boats out on the water. Nagato with her rigging and a large transport boat with Akitsumaru at the helm, surprisingly not pulling out a daihatsu. Just below the surface behind the two ships are five more girls, Nagato's submarine patrol. "Goya, Hachi, Iku, Shihoi, Imuya. You'll be joined by three more people. Be ready with torpedoes just in case we have underwater contacts."

There's a resounding "Yes, Ma'am!" coming over the radio as the five speak up underwater, encircling the two boat crew.. "Our allies should be here shortly."
Yuna Kagurazaka Given that it was another working day for Yuna - idol work, that is - she wasn't able to sail out to the mission coordinates with the kanmusu, but instead, comes in from the nearest warpgate - actually in Flight Form, but with Marina and Jiina (and as usual, Elner) accompanying her. "Nagato, Akitsumaru!" Yuna calls out, waving as she slows to a hover. "One sec ... Elner, are we clear below the surface?"

The robo-faerie pauses briefly, scanning. "It appears so."

Yuna nods. "Okay, thanks for getting me out here, Erina; stick around just in case, okay? Marina, let's do it!" The orangish-and-white android flits closer, actually coming in to hover below Yuna ... and the Flight Form armor disengages, decoupling and separating, leaving Yuna in her basic Light Suit ... but only briefly.

As Erina reassembles, Marina's form goes translucent and 'intercepts' Yuna as gravity asserts its hold on the battlesuited idol singer; when the two overlap fully, Marina seems to disappear entirely, save that a wireframe shape suggestive of a mermaid's form appears around Yuna ... and then a new set of armor components starts to materialize, components connecting to the Light Suit and to other pieces. Within the space of a few breaths, Yuna is fully outfitted in her Marine Form, a sealed helmet enclosing her head in a transparent 'bubble' of what *could* be glass or plastic (but is probably far more resilient than either), while a mermaid-like tail replaces the separate legs of most of her other armor forms.

Yuna just barely has time to wave one more time to Nagato and Akitsumaru before she does a half-flip in the air, pointing herself into the water head-first .. well, hands-first, really ... and plunges into the ocean with rather less of a splash than she might have made. "Hey everyone!" she greets the submarine girls. "We haven't really worked together before, but I'm looking forward to our mission together!"
Kushiko Speaking of people arriving, the shape itself is more readily /seen/ than detected by sensors--some sort of advanced sensor masking occluding the profile of the Liset landing craft. This particular variant bears a prismatic hue of violet and orchid colors.

Once it's reached the docks themselves, it's already sent out a signal from the owner; affirming two things that one, the Lotus is going to link in momentarily given her presicent need to monitor her Tenno's operations with the Fleet. All the same, once that spade-like vessel arrives, the thrusters concealed by manuevering flaps open, reorienting the vessel once before breaking the surface and diving down to join the group down below.

After all, they weren't quite at the location yet; no reason to disembark from her own ship yet for Kushiko.
Rebecca Chambers Rebecca's time with the fleet has been rather sparse, which is why she's trying to get in more time with them whenever she can. Unlike Yuna, who has the ability to travel in a flight form, Rebecca has to travel using a smaller craft which she's learning the ropes of navigating on the waters with. She's had her time training, but she still has a ways to go before she becomes a fully fledged sailor/shipgirl/whatever you want to call her! She's definitely dedicated to her job, that's for sure.

Upon arriving where Nagato and the others are, Rebecca stands at attention and salutes. "Rebecca Chambers reporting in for duty!" She says formally, before looking to the others. "Greetings, I am Rebecca Chambers of the Union, and classified as 'Mediship' within the fleet." She smiles a little at that. "Although, today we'll be going deep down, so I'll be like a submarine as well."
Nagato     As the allies slowly come in one by one, Nagato nods, moving forward with the rest of her crew in tow. "Good, everyone's here. So our target is thirty miles out to sea and a couple miles below the surface. As I'm understanding it, it shouldn't be too much of an issue for any of you to get down there, retrieve the goods for the local Japanese goverment, surface and return. Sonar readings indicate quite a few valuable items that need to be recovered."

She looks to Rebecca as she comes in, giving a slight nod. "Think you can join them down there, Chambers?" she questions, before looking towards the Liset, nodding. "You can have your tenno board Akitsumaru's ship, Lotus." she comments, "It'll be easier to drop everyone at the site."
Yuna Kagurazaka "Search and retrieval, huh?" Yuna replies. "That doesn't sound too difficult ... how big are any of the objects we're retrieving, or don't we know that?"

Elner is hovering near Nagato for the moment, the better to hear the briefing in case Yuna misses any relevant details. Otherwise it's a matter of just waiting until everyone's ready to head for the bottom, so Yuna forms up with the submarine girls and awaits Kushiko and Rebecca.
Rebecca Chambers "Affirmative," Rebecca replies with another salute, before gesturing to a nearby submarine that has just submerged. "Remotely controlled, it's a simple one that doesn't take much power to operate. I'm still getting the hang of aquatic travel, so perhaps someday I'll have my own true battle sub." She steps towards the submarine, which has just opened the top hatch for her to enter.

"Nevertheless, I'm able to go down with them. I don't have much in terms of weapons, but I have special radar and sonar available, along with a scanner that was built for underwater searching." She looks to the others and nods. "I'm sure we can do this! Just give the command and I'll move out when ready!"
Kushiko As they expected, it would be a bit of distance; thing is, that wasn't really the issue. "We appreciate the offer, Nagato." the Lotus begins over the local band as Kushiko might be quietly in study-slash-awe of the anthropomorphized ships as girls. Sure the reports said things but hey, seeing is believing!

The Liset acclimates to water... /really/ well. The submarine girls might be noticing a few hints of silent running there. "... but the Archwing chiefly must deploy from the Liset itself, and the Liset's systems are rated for extreme pressures including space and capable of multi-environmental transport." The ship's thrusters stop directly shining light and seem to shift to a pulsating wake as it adjusts to the ocean environ with ease as it moves into formation.

The Liset itself is about the size of a large boat (at least in length) with the spade-shape taking up the greater bulk of it, and a twin-tailed pair of 'wings' going straight back from it's rear.
Nagato     "Search and retrieval, correct. The objects from sonar range in three to four foot sections, easy enough to be gathered by hand and brought up." she comments, the Battleship giving a slight nod to no one in particular. "It's understandable, Lotus. Once again, I appreciate your willingness to help such a mundane mission."

Meanwhile, the five sub-girls perk up at something entering the water but not making much, if any of a sound. "Oooh, that's neat!" "It's like a real submarine!" "Mmhmm, maybe we're just the escort for it?" "Nah, Nagato has us getting things down here, now let's make sure we can! Kagurazaka's joining us too, so it's a treat that we get to sortie with her." "It's a treat sorteing with Nagato too, Goya." "Yea, you're right Hachi..."
Kushiko "Let us say that simplicity is one way towards understanding our respective knowledge of other organizations and groups here," the Lotus replies--for those with the gear her masked visage does show up on on-screen. "Besides which this was something my Tenno was curious about."

Simple and straight to the point. It also helped to continue some work as 'tests' for continued work with the Union in general as well as some of theirs.

Besides, it wasn't the first time they worked with Yuna at the very least! The Liset arrays itself into position; now the girls can properly see it at least as it idles--those who have an angle to see underneath as it descends might note a strange half-cylinder sunken partway into the underside near the nose, and just above it is another, folded piece of equipment that's clearly not part of the ship itself.
Yuna Kagurazaka The Liset is pretty impressive even to Yuna; while she doesn't gush about it the way the Hikaru submarine girls are, she's clearly impressed by it. That might be higher technology than Yuna's own version of Earth can boast.

Still, the action is about to descend, and as such, Elner nods to Nagato and flits straight into the water, barely displacing enough to make more than a ripple on 'impact'. The robo-faerie quickly rendezvouses with Yuna and the others, and Yuna spares a moment to look around at the group - making sure she can recognize them in a hurry, although she's likely to need some help from Elner to keep the sub-girls' names straight.

"How are we set for illumination, by the way?" Yuna wonders. "The depths of the sea tend to get pretty dark, right?"
Rebecca Chambers Rebecca's not caring too much about the Liset personally, she just wants to get on with her mission. She nods to Nagato and says, "Understood." With another salute, she prepares to enter, when she hears Yuna ask the question about illumination. Rebecca bites her lower lip for a moment, then answers quickly. "I have a built in searchlight. It's not the best, but it should get the job done. If there's nothing else, I'm ready to move out!"
Nagato     "I'll keep radio contact on the surface to make sure everyone is okay, we will have medical crews on standby in the unfortunate event something happens.' comes Nagato's voice over the local radio. "Goya shall be leading the underwater team, everyone else will be either on defense or retrieval of goods." a slight nod is given and she sails around to Akitsumaru's boat.

Under the water, Goya's taking flagship position, swimming backwards to make sure that all her girls, the Tenno and Yuna and the REAL sub are nearby before making a few hand motions and diving down. "Goya here! We'll be diving down quite deep, I hope you all can take the pressure. Sonar's are picking up quite a few things on the bottom, and I'm sure Admiral would like them all, okay?" comes Goya's voice over the radio, a grin upon her face as she produces a searchlight. "Goya's prepared! This should help light the way along with Becky's submarine too!"
Kushiko It would be unsporting to inform the sub group of the specific pressures of deep space and Neptune that her Liset has been down into. So for now, she quietly elects not to.

That besides, the systems aboard the Liset begin tuning themselves towards sensor sweeps and the like; partly for detection of possible hostiles as much as the presence of the recoverable salvage and other (presumable) artifacts and the like.

The liquid crystal of Prisma shimmers slightly as the pressure intensifies and a few marking lights come online. A new voice, masculine and pilot confirms, "All systems quite capable of handling the most /intense/ pressures despite not being some..." He trails off for a minute. Probably some litany off-mic mercifully, before continuing, "Some uniquely suited individual capable of it. My Operator's Archwing is ready for deployment once we arrive closer."
Yuna Kagurazaka "I should be fine," Yuna replies with a big smile and a cheery thumbs-up to Goya. "I've gone deeper than we should be going, and if it gets too dangerous despite that, Elner will warn me to stop and return to the surface."

As the group continues its descent, the soft glow of Yuna's armor would become more evident - not exactly bright enough to serve as a separate light source, but it does make her more visible in the relative darkness of the ocean's deeper reaches. Next to her, Elner is glowing too, the little robo-faerie continuing to descend alongside Yuna without any signs of trouble.
Rebecca Chambers "Let's do this!" Rebecca says before descending back into her submarine and closing the hatch. A few moments later, her submarine begins to descend under the surface. With the light helping to lead the way, the submarine (which has no official name really, by the way) follows along with the others. On the outside, it looks simple enough, but on the inside, Rebecca's learning underwater navigation skills that she never learned in S.T.A.R.S. training. For now, she's hoping that nothing goes wrong on this assignment.
Athela Valemore It probably surprised a few people when, upon arriving the point of submergence, that Athela simply dived into the ocean as she was. As graceful as one would expect of a girl that grew up on the seaside, and in full armor no less. Even by the standards of the Multiverse who does that sort of thing?

After giving it a few moments to sink in Athela cheerfully replied over the radio to explain. "As a Tide Caller I am as free to move beneath the waves as upon them. The depths shalt not hinder me." Or the need to breath, but that part was clearly a given when she went with no sort of external apparatus.

Must apply at least for Samurott as well, as the armored beast plunges in once Athela has had her moment to show off. As Lancer dives past Athela grabs one of the prongs on his neck covering, pulling herself onto his back without slowing him down.
Nagato     Nagato is not the least bit surprised... but the submarines, however, stare at Athela with a curious glint. "Oooh, another submarine girl?" Goya questions before diving further. It's a good three minutes to the location, hopefully no one's legs are getting tired. "Goya here, we're almost to the point. I hope everyone's brought enough strength to carry these back to the surface now!" a smile is given on Goya's face and, with nods of acceptance from the other girls, they continue diving.

On the ocean floor there's a lot of ship based wreckage, a passenger liner from what it looks like. There's a nameplate somewhere as well, but it's so rusted and mossed over, it's unreadable. Good thing that Hiyou wasn't here, huh? Theres symbols of the Japanese navy around as well, perhaps in passing or just as gear from the passenger ship. "Mmm, history is here, isn't it?"
Athela Valemore "Something similar, you could say," Athela replies to Goya's curiousity as the group continues their descent. "I draw strength from the spirit of not one ship, but a guardian of the seas awhole." That's the short and sweet explaination, not really more needed at the moment.

Because that would disrupt the moment as the sunken ship comes into view on the dark ocean floor. Lancer swims alongside the wreckage, allowing Athela to briefly brush the tips of her fingers along a portion of hull. "Prehaps history for you. But from my point of view, this is astounding futures... Though, we have our share of shipwrecks as well."

There's a pause as they pull back a bit, and the knight shrugs, little bubbles wibbling about in the water from her movements. "So.. more things change, more they stay the same, I guess..."
Yuna Kagurazaka The fact that Athela can basically go underwater on her own - no equipment, no armor, no air tanks, just *her* - elicits a look from Yuna which might qualify as 'slightly envious' ... but it passes quickly, and Yuna gives her a thumbs-up as well. She's got her own means of ability to navigate underwater, just like Yuna herself or anyone else on this expedition, and that's what counts.

It's probably going to take joint efforts to lift some of that wreckage, thinks Yuna as she looks it over. "I guess we'll find out," she says to Goya. "Are we bringing all of this to the surface, the whole ship or what's salvageable of it? Or are there specific items we need to find?" She pauses, looking the wreckage over again. "... and if we need to cut or break it into smaller pieces to salvage some of it, is that even an option?"

She's already wondering what her best option is in the event that some amount of cutting is *necessary* - it's quite likely that there's a lot of sand which'll need to be moved around to free up some pieces. As it is, though, Yuna's starting to wonder if she'll need to test El-Line's underwater functionality - because it might take a giant robot to bring *REALLY* big pieces to the surface ...
Rebecca Chambers Meanwhile, as the others get close to the wreckage, Rebecca's increasing the light intensity on her submarine to see if she can help out a little more. She frowns a little as she looks at it. "Something about that doesn't seem right." She rubs her chin a little. "Maybe it's just me." Another pause, then she shakes her head. "Either way, we're not getting THAT out in one piece anytime soon I don't think..."
Kushiko That... is a great deal of ship. While it is possible for the Tenno ship to magnetically lock and lift things about its own size what's down here is a bit larger. Still...

The spade shaped ship's wake churns slightly as it thrusts itself a little closer and shines not just light but a VERY thorough sensor sweep and topographical mapping.
Nagato     As the girls approach closer, there's a spattering of fish life that scatter and rush off. Sensor sweeps from the Tenno's ship inidcate a large wreck, steel and iron in nature, very common materials. There does seem to be an even larger object on the sonar, but it's unknown what it may be at the moment. "Such a sight isn't it everyone? We get to see this every time we sortie! It's nice to not sortie in an enemy engagement, isn't it?" comes Goya's voice again, swimming alongside the wreck.

Nagato's voice is soon heard, "The symbol at the head of the ship is important as is anything identifying about it. In addition, anything that's artifact looking should be taken. Do not disturb any other part of the ship." comes the Admiral's orders, partially because she knows what happened last time someone tried moving a ship...
Athela Valemore Not to mention trying to move an entire sunken ship would be kind of like digging up a corpse as far as the ship-girls go. Or at least that is the thought that occurs to Athela from the sterness of Nagato's voice. "Just retrieval of goods, then. Aye aye, Admiral." There may be the faintest of giggles at actually responding as a sailor would, but Athela quickly stifles the momentary amusment and puts her seriousness back on.

She nudges Lancer's sides with her heels, and nods her head towards the ship. Makes a downward gesture with one hand, then levels it off. Swim closer to the seabed so they can look for items that may of fallen out of the ship while it sank. She will leave the symbol itself to those that are more familiar with what precisely they are looking for.

Lancer bobs his head in return. Whiskers flick back again, a few of the lights being cast from the ship and sub gleaming across his armor as the Samurott angles and propels himself lower. Don't disrupt the ship, just look for missing and important looking items. That's pretty easy.

Not that it is ever as easy as it sounds...
Yuna Kagurazaka "So it's mainly just the figurehead and any kind of nameplates or other things," Yuna replies, nodding within her helmet. She only heard what happened with the previous attempt at moving a ship, she wasn't around to see it for herself. "Okay ... does anyone have tools that we can use underwater? Not just for cutting, but screwdrivers or the like?"

She's also fairly massively relieved that the job isn't going to be as big as she'd thought at first glance, but the only 'tools' she has are her weapons, including a sword that she doesn't want to try using for precision work. With Elner still sticking close to her, Yuna heads towards the front of the sunken ship. "Imuya, keep me company?" she requests. "Nobody should be going anywhere in a group of less than two, whether it's inside or outside." She does know at least THAT much about safe diving practices - and as much trust as she places in Elner to keep her safe, she'd rather have at least one of the submarine girls in case she runs into anything that requires an additional human-sized body to deal with. Or, y'know, torpedoes or other forms of firepower. Elner can do a lot, but the robo-faerie has *no* offensive weaponry at all.

Sure, this SHOULD be a peaceful salvage operation, but this is also the Multiverse; anything can happen.
Rebecca Chambers "Understood," Rebecca replies in response to the rules of engagement (as she phrases it) about the recovery operation right now. While there may be others who cannot fight, Rebecca has some limited weapons on her sub, but they won't be much. "Let's just get this over with."
Kushiko "To some extent," is the offered remark by the Tenno. Not that they would know anything about plundering and recovery of certain objects of value. Suitbased laser cutting and other means of matter compression and the like were useful for such things.

And in this instance as they got closer the underbelly of the Liset became active; more specifically the half cylinder turning and revealing the Nova Prime frame. A slight jolt as the coffinlike recess locked into place for her to push out of, followed by the release of a secondary system? Of some kind that thrust towards the drifting Tenno, locking itself into the small of her back like a harness, unfolding itself into an elegantly styled pair of wings for her as she began to thrust forward and towards the ship aside Athela.

If one thought to look reasonably well, the way the Archwing was attached to the tacit Tenno was more akin to how angel's wings were normally attached as opposed to those of other winged beings. Pushes up into her arms was an energy crossbow looking thing the size OF the Tenno itself. "Energy caster. Will configure wavelengths for cutting, have a personal device for scanning and extraction of dataforms." she offers.
Nagato     Imuya gives a nod and slowly makes her way to Yuna's side while Goya and Hachi move along to the front. Shihoi moves towards Athela and Iku moves towards the other submarine. From this distance, it looked like the other ship could sustain anything herself. Fortunately, nothing seems to be bothering the salvage group, and even the ship itself seems to be content with letting the girls roam around it's form. There's some faded pictures of generals of long past strewn around visibly through portholes and other 'finery' that's been ruined by the way of who knows how long in this ocean.

With the Tenno, Shihoi and Athela going into the cutting mode, they're able to gain access into the midships of the sunken liner, inside there's pictures of famous people of long past, none of them recognizable to anyone around, maybe from a different era's Japan. Around this area looks to be just plain things, a few cabinets and a couple desks. Must have been a writing room or a gathering room.

With Elner, Yuna and Imuya making their way to the front of the ship, they'd see that the stylized flower logo, very familiar to Yuna if she's seen Nagato's belt, is still looking oddly pristine, even under these conditions, though as pristine as it may be, it's looking a bit loose and perhaps able to be lodged free.

Rebecca's own scanning shows quite a few crates nearby, but who knows what's in them, perhaps taking a closer look may result in more knowledge.
Yuna Kagurazaka Yuna has indeed seen Nagato's belt a few times, and as such, she does recognize the flower emblem. Which explains a lot about why this ship is so important to her, really.

"Really should've brought some kind of tools myself," Yuna remarks, mostly to herself, as she slips her fingertips under an edge of the logo's plate and tries tugging. That's probably not going to accomplish very much, but it was worth a try before she tries using her sword to pry it off. "Elner, is this in as good shape as it looks? We're not going to break it by accident if we have to do this the hard way?"

Cue the robofaerie taking a closer look, or more precisely, scanning to make sure the flower ornament isn't rusting through on the hidden side or otherwise prone to breaking under stress ...
Athela Valemore Considering Lancer has a big blade attatched to his helmet, any necessities of cutting should be taken care of. All the same, best to disrupt the wreck itself as little as possible. These ships may be made of metal and plastic instead of wood and rope, but for as much as ships change over many centuries the same basis is still there, making eventually finding a way inside easier.

It may just be a plain old gathering room inside, but to Athela, this is still rather amazing. The trade ships she's familiar with are much more spartan, sparing space only for goods and the barest of necessities for the crew at sea. Such luxury, as on the simple side as it may be, is still astounding. But that is all this room seems to be, an astounding view.

Nimbly she shifts off her pokemon's back, drifting at his side instead. "Should we explore deeper?" That order to not disrupt the ship still nibbles at the back of her mind. But at the same time, how can they be sure there's nothing else important left behind if they don't investigate? "Just looking and no touching."
Kushiko In such an unknown situation once the majority of the cutting is done clearly there is one thing to do: Scan. Everything. +_+

More to the point using a specialized scanner to pick for points of interest to say nothing of documenting extensively in a short while enough for linking others in on the environment, not to mention cross referencing where they were relatively. Besides that it could be used for historical purposes later.

All the same, the now mobile Tenno searched more precisely yet seemed cautiously wary just in case of the work causing part of the ship to become unstable. She was pretty precise in her movements enough to make one wonder if she were part fish despite obvious hallmarks otherwise.
Rebecca Chambers Noticing the crates, Rebecca adjusts her sub's movements a little to get just a LITTLE closer, but not TOO close. She attempts to adjust the scanners of her submarine in hopes of getting a better glimpse at those crates. "There's something about those. I wonder what it could be?" Perhaps they might provide a clue as to what's going on here?
Nagato     Back on the surface, Nagato briefly nods... over a private radio, comes some voices. "Yes, sir. My crew is scouting the site right now. Yes sir... Yes, sir. They're going to recover what they can sir, I've ordered them not to disturb the ship as much as possible. Yes sir... Sir, the ship means more to me than it does to you, is there anything else you need from the wreckage of the Izumo Maru.. Kashiwara Maru is supposedly near? Just be glad Hiyou and Jun'you aren't here, sir. Yes, sir. We'll recover what we can. What about them two, sir? They're light carriers sir... built from those two ships."

    Below the surface:

Yuna, Imuya and Elner: Imuya grins slightly, looking at the flower emblem before falling to a somber look upon her face. She gives a brief nod towards the ship in of itself and swims around towards the emblem. Elner's scans indicate that it's intact all the way through, literally zero sign of decay on it, oddly enough. But how concerning can that be?

Athela, Shihoi and the Tenno: SCAN EVERYTHING is the nature of the game right now, diving in more, the light that Shihoi brings shows a beautiful red carpet on the floor and fancy looking dressers and the like. The Tenno's scans indicate a lot of metal everywhere and some valuables... diamonds, gold and a few other things inside some of the dressers and desks. Shihoi does look towards Athela and nods, "Look but don't touch. We don't want to disturb this wreck too much more. I'm sure the Admiral will be fine with some trinkets that might be near..."

Reina and Iku: "I don't know, Becky. Ill head forward to see, okay?" The scanners do show that the crates are loaded with steel and iron, valuable in their own right to shipwrights and the like of the time. Upon the edge, there's a Japanese company emblazoned upon the surprisingly not rotted wood, as if the boxes were built just yesterday.
Yuna Kagurazaka Elner states, "Completely intact ... proceed with reasonable caution, Yuna."

Yuna nods. Completely ... that's a surprise, given the state of the rest of the wreck. But, she materializes her sword and sets to work - lifting one edge of the flower emblem (or the plate on which it's embossed or whatever, rather) as best she can, and attempting to slide the tip of her sword into that gap .. and then just trying to wiggle the blade around to slide it further in. She might not even have to *pry* at it, just insert the sword far enough for its width to push the plate loose from the hull to which it was attached.

It's not just for the sake of preserving this plate intact that Yuna is being extra-careful. Elner's continuing to scan - any sign of, say, anomalous energies or mechanisms, or even life signs for that matter, and the robo-faerie will speak up again. And while Yuna wouldn't mind exploring the inside of the ship, she's mostly concerned with this one item for a start ... she can guess at why it's so important to Nagato, but she may not get the chance to confirm her guess.
Kushiko The sleek wings of the Odonata Prime shift slightly with every movement the Tenno deems fit; thrusters propelling and orienting and moving through the wreck almost effortless--though as mentioned she /does/ need to take certain degrees of care with the narrower spots.

In fact at one point, the Archwing itself detaches, folding up into a rectangular profile to follow in after when she passes through a corridor into another section. The light, energy-synthetic fabric trailing from her ringed collar drifts through the water as the slim figure crosses over, with the compacted Archwing trailing behind.

After a moment of reattachment, she conducts a few more scans; once she finds something that's more of a proper useful artifact that should be recovered, she's going to move to do just that--energy emitters from her hand will be used to assist in actually removing anything keeping something bolted down if necessary.

All the while though, she's keeping her scanners going; and to that she seems to open up a secondary suite of scanning tools for linking with the subs that include motion and other IFF elements. Something felt off to her, but maybe that's just paranoia. Be nice if it was only that.
Athela Valemore Athela Valemore nods lightly to Shihoi. "This looks like the sort of room a noble or scholar would of populated. There could be important details protected from the ocean's unrelenting presence here." Do these worlds regard jewels just for value, or do they have other purposes? Athela is never quite sure on the matter. All the same she swims over to one of the dressers, resting her hands lightly on the outside handles.

A brief bow of her head and murmuring a silent prayer to the seas to collect their saved treasures without issue, then carefully nudges the drawer open to inspect inside.
Nagato     Everything seems eerily quiet, but that's probably because they're all underwater. Everything here seems to be okay, at least in terms of things that might jump out and attack that is. Elner's scans would reveal nothing at the moment, as the Emblem pops neatly off, everything about it seems eerie, a strange, pulsating energy from it. It's warm, but harmless, almost as if the spirit of the ship is thanking you... as it starts to rust over nigh immediately.

Athela would feel that same warm energy as she does her prayer, as if the ship is giving her the permission to delve into the secrets she's trying to get. The drawer opens slowly, and if it could make a sound, it would be a rusted 'nails on chalkboard' type screech, opening to show another sealed box with the same flower emblem that was on the bow of the ship and soon after, the dresser it was contained in, if Athela lifts it up, rots away and crumbles... leaving dust everywhere.

The Tenno's own scans reveal another box closer towards the bridge, that strange, pulsating energy beckoning towards her, as if welcoming her ascent from the decks to the bridge, and, if she chooses to follow it, would see a safe that's cracked open... another box with that same flower emblem inside, and upon reaching for it and taking it out, the safe crumbles, iron dust filling the room.

Rebecca's own scans... and finally Iku's exhuberance to open the box, shows ... coal? Though digging deeper, there's a large diamond-like object inside of each box, and with all three taken out, if Iku and Rebecca do take them,, the boxes, and their contents just crumble away.
Athela Valemore For a brief moment Athela is actually mildly surprised to feel the subtle response to her prayer. These are not the oceans of her home, but yet the spirits that watch over them seem to acknowledge her express that she only wishes to investigate, not harm.

She does grit her teeth a little at the noise of the drawer screeching open, and Lancer visibly tenses as if expecting it to be some kind of monster. It certainly sounds like one! But once it's open it's only the box that the knight gently lifts out. "This... is the same symbol, is it not?" She holds the box for Shihoi to see the intricate flower emblem on it.

The dresser completely dissolves into dust in the old waters once it is removed from it.

"I think that is a good sign that we should give thanks for what we hath found and not intrude farther."
Kushiko Realistically, the Tenno Kushiko would be /totally/ faster in space. Still, given the way the ship is, super speed is not necessarily the best idea.

The end result of a need for slightly more modest speed is a churning wake, pulse-engines configured for it. Sometimes a foot lightly touching off to correct orientation as she goes from oriented with her feet pointed starboard side, then deckbound as she twists around and weaves through.

"Curious..." she murmurs softly, more to herself than anything. Really, it's not even the Warframe directly that's making that sound, but the voice projecting through the radios. It's an odd thing it is, but such is the nature of the Void-based Tenno.

Then again, the sense of something 'inanimate' being alive or in this case, the ship itself having a spiritual draw is not entirely an alien thing to her. Putting away the Fluctus energy caster she's able to orient herself, aiming the Odonata Prime's engines so she doesn't disturb anything before claiming it.

... of course in /claiming/ it she's also made some disturbances, but the engines forward and backward release a very slight pulsation, a bubble of modest energy to buffet away the iron dust before she herself backthrusts away and out of it; no reason to linger in a place of low visibility as she clutches the flower emblem in one hand. She will store it on her person within moments in a matter-energy kind of subspace on herself.
Yuna Kagurazaka "You're welcome," Yuna murmurs - then blinks as the plate abruptly rusts in her hands.

She manages not to shriek or yelp, even though THAT WAS SUDDENLY VERY VERY CREEPY and Yuna is really bad with ghosts, at least most of the time. Intense chills are running down her spine nonetheless, and Yuna ... well, kinda bolts back towards the spot where the group first reached the wreck. "Nagato," she radios up, "we got the hull emblem off the ship's bow but it got all rusty as soon as I pried it loose do you want it up there or should we hang onto it and where else do I need to look?"

.... she's also not really good at HIDING it when she's scared like this.
Rebecca Chambers That's a creepy feeling. Rebecca shivers a little, stopping to get a drink of water from her water bottle, relaxing a little as the sensation passes. She checks her scanners again. "That's... coal?" She asks with a frown. Then they spot those diamond like objects. "If you take those, be careful," Rebecca says to Iku. "There's no telling what they might do."
Nagato     On the Surface: Nagato blinks, hmming, "Bring it up, all of you. Even if you found very little, bring it up. It is getting dark on the surface and I'd rather not have you all down there too much longer." comes Nagato's stern voice in reply, to everyone under the water. She really didn't like to do this but, she provided protection for this Japan in the past, was only right to return the favor.

Below the water, the object in Yuna's hands pulse again. It's a warm, comforting pulse from the now rusted object. For some reason she could almost understand that it wasn't trying to scare her, only that being removed set part of the spirit free of the ship. A sentement echoed to the rest of the object wielders.

In everyone's head, there's a comforting feel... and just a few words, easily understandable. "Thank you for finding me... and thank you for helping me be remembered." comes the feminine voice from the ship's spirit. There's no visual cue for it, just that voice.
Athela Valemore Athela carefully tucks the box under one arm as she climbs onto Lancer's back once more. Fortunately she can trust him to swim back to the surface with little direction, so she can hold firmly onto the one treasure they did find. "You art welcome." To say she's familiar with speaking to entities more on the spiritual side than a physical presence would be an understatement. "Memories shall be the one treasure that never tarnishes."

Whilst on the way swimming back out of the ship and towards the surface Athela glances down at the box and its familiar emblem once more.

"Even little things can have a big impact, Admiral."
Yuna Kagurazaka That's still kind of creepy ... but Yuna nods, closing her eyes briefly and giving the emblem plate a little rub with her right thumb - sort of a 'I understand and you're welcome, sorry for freaking out' gesture. Although it's probably (and quite literally) the thought that counts.

And with Nagato's order to return to the surface (and thence to base, she presumes), Yuna does begin ascending. Not in a massive hurry - she's not trying to outrun anyone else - but she doesn't want to keep Nagato waiting, either. Once she reaches their surface craft, Yuna climbs in, disengages from Marine Form, and holds the emblem out to Nagato with both hands. "She said 'thank you,' for finding her and helping make sure she's remembered." Yuna pauses briefly, then adds quietly, "She was one of your ship-self's sisters, or something ... ?"
Kushiko ... remembering, is it?

In the fleeting moments she held it, she could feel it. It was... peculiar, feeling it through Transference, the violet eyes of the young child so far flung from here stared for a moment. She dismissed the thoughts that were associated with 'remembering' and merely did her best to take solace in helping another not be lost.

One less in the long run, she mused. She may not know these individuals as she knew others, but there was similarity, kinship in that. It was silence as she moved through the water, helping herself up and out of the ship itself as the Liset came close. First the Archwing detaching, then the Liset itself pulling the Tenno's Warframe into the human-shaped recess.

"On our way back up," Kushiko projected quietly as the cylinder turned, securing the Warframe as it banked away in order to begin the ascent upwards.

This would unnerve a normal person, but for Kushiko... she recognized it as death. To recover that which was lost, and for one such as her so surrounded by it... it was merely what needed to be done, right?

...right.
Rebecca Chambers Once the order is given, Rebecca slowly begins to ascend her sub to the surface. "I'm glad we're done with that. For some reason that didn't quite feel right." She takes another sip of water. "But it was still a good first mission!" She smiles.
Nagato      When everyone returns to the surface, Nagato gives a slight nod to everyone. "Thank you for a job well done. These may just look like random peices of gear but... to me, and this world's Japan, it's a lot more." she turns to look out towards the sea... towards the Japan in the distance. "Not one of my sisters... but a sister in heart. Come, we should get these artifacts back to the Museum and I'll send my reward off to you all once we're done." she gives a slight smile...

The Izumo Maru... a famous luxury liner. In her world, converted into the Hiyou... here? it looked like she never seen war. It put the Admiral's heart at ease, knowing that this vessel would not have seen the mark of a tire upon her deck. She isn't sure how it sunk but as everyone advances back to the shore, Nagato sails slowly behind and whispers. "Izumo Maru, Kashiwara Maru. We shall remember you quite well. Sleep well in these depths and may human hands not disturb you forever more."
