Yunomi Stadler     THE SPIRE OF NIVIX -- IZZET SECTOR, RAVNICA.

You want to know what a good idea is? A good idea is attempting to take your girlfriend on a nice, quiet date. THe bad thing about this good idea is that /scheduling is a pain/ when eight projects need your immediate attention -- but Yunomi Stadler, the Izzet League's offworld champ and head tanuki, /BURSTS/ into Rhapsody's office, goggles askew, slightly singed, carrying with her the chemical whiff of electrical fire and ozone.

    "RhapsodyI'mSoSorryToInterruptEverythingEverButThereIsSomethingINCREDIBLYImportantIHaveToTellYou!"
Rhapsody     Shocked? Yes. Surprised? CERTAINLY. "Ack, what? Did the new OceanLava Weird get loose? Tell me that thing did not get loose! WE"RE STILL WORKING ON IT OH GOD NO NO NO NO-" she keeps rambling on about that as she rushes around trying to gather up gear she'd need to deal with yet another crazy opposite-elemental that the Izzet are so well known for.
Yunomi Stadler     "What?! No, no, the Weird's not loose!" Yunomi blinks, and then she busts out laughing,.

"No, no no, Rhaps, I was just coming into say something incredibly important! If something like that had happened, I would have sent Pidge up while I tried to tempt it back inside with candy!"

Yunomi hops over the desk -- no small feat, it's not a small desk -- and she goes to wrap her arms around Rhapsody's shoulders. "I came in to say 'Rhaps, it's late, we've both been working like, forever, we should go eat something'. Incredibly important."
Rhapsody The dragon actually seems to calm the moment that Yunomi says the weird is not the problem. Relieved, she takes a seat, only to blink at the tanuki, "Ah, well, yes, food is ... important?" she blinks at the clock. TWELVE hours have past since her last meal and suddenly her whole body remembers at the same time. "... Very important," she answers her own question.
Yunomi Stadler     "Yes, food is important. Even more important when I got chastized by my inner romantic because I'm a terrible person and haven't taken you out for a proper dinner." beat.

"So... you hungry?" she inquires, rubbing the back of her head.
Rhapsody     Blink. Blush? Its actually hard to tell for once, but that sheepish look is probably enough to confirm the feeling. "Ah, Yes, actually. Pretty sure once you mentioned food and I realized how long it had been since my last meal my stomach suddenly remembered what job it has.."
Yunomi Stadler     "Good! Get changed. Or ready. Or... well you look fantastic anyway, regardless. Irregardless..." she pauses, and her ears pin back as she gives a laugh. "My father can enchant a ray of the sun with poetry, I have trouble flirting."
Rhapsody "Ah hah ha. Haaaa. ... I'mma .. do that thing," she rambles before walking, wandering (SCRAMBLING) off to one of the side doors. Simple things involving water may or may not be heard, a few moments silence, then Rhaps would come back in her typical coat, minus spellblades, but looking far more alert, attentive, and probably clean, than a moment earlier. "All set!"
Yunomi Stadler     Yunomi, meanwhile, just clicks her fingers, and changes.

Her hair's done up in a simple ponytail, and she's wearing casual khaki cargo pants, flipflops, and a T-shirt that annoucnes that she is, in fact, property of the Izzet League Athetlic department.

"What do you feel like having? Fast food? Seafood? There's this place back in Maryland... or I know a place in Syndey. Or hey, could even just grab some stuff and make a picnic." she gives a grin.

"If you /really/ want, I could try at poetry, but you might hate me afterwards."
Rhapsody "I say surprise me, on all counts," Rhapsody replies once she gets closer. her gaze seems to approve of the tanuki's sudden change in wardrobe. As for the poetry, "Well, I'm not sure. Izzet Poetry is probably the second worst in the whole city.." What's #1? Well, it is said that they learned it from a towel fearing race whose name was lost to time.
Yunomi Stadler     "Ah, fantastic. Glad I have something I can live up to." she jokes, and she gives a bright grin. "Soooo, surprise you, huh? What if I said I had A Plan. A very suspiciously simple plan. A plan among plans. An evil, delicious plan?"
Rhapsody "I would say you should follow the plan and see where it takes you! The Izzet always carry out their plans regardless of the possible outcome!" Somewhere, something explodes. "SEE?""
Yunomi Stadler     "... I really hope the food doesn't explode." Yunomi comments playfully, and she goes to lead the way down to the Overgrown Lab-slash-Singing Garden of Nivix. "... because that's going to make a huge mess."
Rhapsody "Thankfully, a rule was instituted about not rigging lunch boxes and other portalbe food containers. It used to be an epidemic, I'm told. We lost a whole Weird research wing because of it once!" Its in the Izzet history books! You just have to find the Izzet history books. . . . those kodama probably know where they are. "So I would like to think that won't be an issue."
Yunomi Stadler     "An issue, ne?" Yunomi grins, and she pushes open the doors to the Overgrown Lab.

Someone's nerfarious plans involved a picnic, it's apparent. Orbs of gently glowing blue hang in the air, suspended through magic above a blanket and two large sitting cushions, upon which a basket and a littler sterno set up are standing beneath the ancient looking tree, its ume-blossoms everblooming. The whole of the garden smells of green and fresh rain, the plants quietly humming to themselves, flowers bobbing their little heads to unknown music.

The smells coming from the basket are fresh, fruity and the smell of fresh, raw fish.
Rhapsody     Upon entering, Rhapsody can only look on in surprise, for a few moments. Her expression slips from one of awe to one of sheer delight once she recognizes just how well this was set up. "This looks wonderful," she comments as she wanders toward the wonderful armoas coming from the little picnic area. "I'm wondering what else you have planned.."
Yunomi Stadler     "Hours of poetry reading devolving into childish namecalling and both of us passing out from carb overload." Yunomi jokes, and she draws down, plunking on one of the cushions as she opens up the basket. ANd yeah, the Kodama know where all the history books are. They arranged them and made corrections to spelling.

Yunomi sets O-Togi, that magical sake jug that pours never ending supplies of drinks, and gives it a shake.
Rhapsody The dragon takes a seat in the opposite cushon and just seems to melt into it. After days, if not weeks, of a whole lot of work, taking a moment to relax was simply wonderful. That's why when she took her seat, it was more like flopping onto her back in it, arms out, heaving a content sigh at it all. "I don't wanna move.."
Yunomi Stadler     "Well, if you /really/ want I could hand-feed you, but then I'm afraid I might never be rid of you." she jokes, and pokes at one of Rhaps's feet with her tail before handing the dragon a tall, cold glass of lemonade, with a straw in it.
Rhapsody That gets a laugh out of the dragon, if after a thoughtful moment. "I would never live it down," she muses, knowing full well that Sidonia will at least -peek- once or twice, but would not actually invade the entire picnic. Unless asked. Then all bets are off.

The glass is accepted, the straw is used, and then the dragoness wriggles up in the seat until she's in a .. sorta.. upright position. It still looks rather lazy, but is that so bad? "Mm.."
Yunomi Stadler     It isn't bad. Yunomi is making sure her Guildmaster/Girlfriend doesn't give herself a heart attack. How very nice.

Yunomi just gives a smile (and of course the other siblings were welcome to join and get something to eat), and she shifts around, leaning partially against Rhapsody.
Rhapsody     They could, but without being invited directly, they won't. Besides, what kind of a date would that be, hmm? The lean in is replied to with a lean against, more sipping, and eventually another content sigh. "Now I really don't wanna move.."
Yunomi Stadler     "I don't blame you, it's pretty comfortable and quiet in here." the young magewright replies, and gives a smile, glancing up at the misty high ceiling of the room.

"You know you can always come in here when you need a minute, right Rhaps?"
Rhapsody "Mmhmm, I know. I know -better- now, though. Things have just been especially hecktic lately for no apparent reason." Well, there are plenty of reasons, but not a single one that stands out more than the rest. Such is the way of the guild handling Ravnica's utilities. All of them. "It's easy to forget when i'm in the middle of a dozen things."
Yunomi Stadler     "Just need to breathe. Even the biggest storms have those moments in the eye, Rhaps. Don't forget that." Yunomi gives a grin. "We've both got long lives ahead of us. We've got time."
Rhapsody Considering just how long her father was RUMORED to have lived, boy, doesn't she know it? "Mmhmm. Learning to deligate things has helped. A lot. Probably still don't do it enough-" Pause. Blink. Breath. Dismissive wave at the door. "No more work talk," she murmurs, mostly settling in on the cushon a bit more. Chances are she may not be moving for a -long- while. At least until food is involved.
