Alden Alden had been out of touch for a couple days after the incident with the Cherubimon, as the fight finished, and whatever that purple effect on him faded, he seemed rather tired, so at least that explained why he did not chase Gaonoir all over with questions!. Erika eventually gets an invitation, but oddly, it does not come from Alden, rather, seems like Fangmon got ahold of Erika's number (perhaps alden had it?) and called the pair over.

When they arrive, they can find the trio there, Alden apparently attempting to do some strength training, via attacking one of the larger crystals, loud 'clink' noises coming with each of his punches. The Fangmon and Gargomon watch from the side, perhaps making sure the Gabumon does not hurt himself doing anything crazy.
Gaonoir Probably for the best, considering once they got back home Gaonoir was pretty wiped out. He had barely managed to evolve again just long enough to fly Erika back to the seaport. Other than the little conference call with Magnamon, he had spend the last couple of days mainly sleeping, eating and a little research of his own when he could actually get the laptop away from Erika. Magnamon had also sent what data she had found in the info archives about Mirage Gaogamon, so he had at least a vage better idea of what Umbra Gaogamon could do.

And then Erika got a call, and once she got over the surprise of who it was, had dragged him out insisting he had taken long enough to recover. For once, he couldn't really argue with it.

"Do I even want to know what the crystal did to piss him off?" Gaonoir provides his usual snark as the duo arrive upon scooter as always. Really, he needs to nag Erika into getting something a little more... proficient. That doesn't involve a car license.
Alden Alden looks surprisingly serious, enough that Gao might actually wonder about him actually being annoyed at the crystal!. Still, he eventually hears the noises of the scooter and blinks a few times, turning around to face Gaonoir and company, waving his hand and smiling. "Hi!" he says, moving closer to the scooter, while Fangmon and BlackGalgomon move to join as well, the large, freakishly slender fox bouncing around, "Hey dark pup." he says in a mock tease, smiling, "Glad to see you and your pretty friend again.". The BlackGalgomon chuckles, "Hey Gaonoir, heard you managed to reach a higher stage!" he says, amused at the fox's antics.
Gaonoir Gaonoir huffs softly, folding his arms at the 'pup' remark. "Technically I bet I'm older than all of you." Not that age is really a thing for Digimon. Then again, this is his Child stage, so 'pup' is to some degree still accurate.

"He did!" Erika scoops Gao up with an arm around his shoulders. "Or we did. It's kind of a partner thing."

Gaonoir looks annoyed at the arm-hug for a moment, but lets it be. "Not many digimon in our world reach past Perfect on their own. Something about Erika and her Digivice bypasses that natural limitation."
Alden Alden nods a few times, letting otu a sigh and smiling to the pair, "I am glad for you Gaonoir, and you Erika." he says softly. "Guess that means you are truly connected now." he says, reaching closer to offer Erika a hug. Katze, seemed to be napping on a picnic blanket, or distracted near a pair of little cans called 'jelly'. "I remember when my tamer helped me evolve." he says alden with a chuckle, "I can only wonder just how strong you are." he mumbles. The fox grins, wagging his tail, "Don't worry, I was just teasing, I know you are no cub." he says softly, sniffing at Erika, "Did you get us snacks?" he asks playfully. The bunny grins and playfully yanks his tail, "We just ate, stop trying to ask for food when you even ate Alden's food." ... "He did what?" comes from the gabumon. "Oops, said too much."
Gaonoir Erika laughs a bit at the exchange. "Yes, I brought more granola bars. I figured this was going to turn into another sparring match or something." Then gives Alden a sympathetic hug in return. "One day you'll find your Tamer again, just keep believing in that."

Gaonoir rolls his eyes in gest. "Connected, sure, but don't expect me to get all... mushy like that."
Alden Alden returns the hug of course, letting out a soft rumbly noise, before pulling back, "Well, we can try at least... I think I recovered from using the Devil chip back then." he says softly, rubbing his shoulder. For whatever reason, the garurumon pelt on his back seemed a bit faded. "I hope so, I feel weak without him." he says, chuckling, "He was the brains of the pair.". Then he points to the crystal, "I was trying to train a bit, so a spar might be nice." he repeats. The Fox licks his chops at the mention fo granola bars, but makes no motion to approach, instead stretching a bit, "Maybe we should go all out this time." he says, tail wagging, while the BlackGalgomon smiles, "I'm still sorry for last time, I promise to avoid delete attacks."
Gaonoir Gaonoir takes a few steps away, then stops and glances over his shoulder. "You? I'm the one that sliced a fallen angel down to his core." Then finishes his spacing out. "Besides, I don't think it would be a problem. Despite the instincts I felt more... focused, I guess you could say." Then turns back to his human. "Erika? You up to this?"

The girl looked up as she dug the digivice out of her bag. "Really, I should be asking you that."

"I could use the practice." He turns back to face the others, clenching his paws a bit. "If we're going to use this form to protect people and worlds, we need to be certain of what it can do." It's almost funny to hear him saying 'we' much more than I or me.

"Alright then!" Erika pressed her thumb to the command button as she gripped the D-Port tightly in her hand. Almost immeadiately it responded to her touch and started to glow more brightly from the screen as she holds it up dramatically. "We'll practice today, for a better tomorrow! So lets charge that digi spirit up!" The girl has probably watched one too many animes in her life time.

"Was that really necessar--" But Gaonoir drops off the comment as the surge of energy fills him, causing his entire body to glow. He lifts off the ground a bit as the corona engulfs him, and for the first time others get to see what happened within Cherubimon's gullet the first time. "Black Gaomon, WARP DIGIVOLVE!"

For a moment his form seems to strip down to the basic digital framework, but from there the swirling shades of what one imagines is the Dark Digitron expands out of it. It churns outward, shaping into a larger version of his bipedal form, before hardening into the plates of armor. The helmet over his head is one of the last to form, golden glow showing through the eyes as the remaining dark energy swirls back and flows out to form the long cape. A sweep of his right arm out to the side tosses the length completely behind him, the other arm flexed at his side.

"UMBRA GAOGAMON!"
Alden Alden smiles as Gaonoir speaks, "I wish I was as strong as you, but at least I hope to be able to help the best I can." he says softly, before turning to the others, "You heard him, let's go all out." he says softly. He moves towards Katze, carefully settling the device there and fiddling with cards, snickering a bit at those words, "She so reminds me of my tamer..." is heard.

The two digimon blink a bit at that, taking several steps back, clearly intimidated, but the nod to eachother. The pair begins to glow brightly, digimoji (digimon script characters) surrounding them, before they both burst into light. "Fangmon Digivolve to..." "BlackGalgomon digivolve to...". And the familiar forms of Caturamon and BlackRapidmon appear!. Still, they don't seem to be quite done. Their forms still glowing, as they charge at eachother, "Jogress evolution to..." they exclaim in unison, as the glowing forms merge into one.

Once the glow fades, there is a single figure, a tall, leonine biped emerging. Golden fur, a bright red X shaped scar on it's chest, bandages wrapped around his wrists and part of it's footpaws and waist. He is wearing what seems to be a ... japanese high school uniform?, pants, with the upper garment worn onver his shoulders like a cloak, a long, slightly worn sword on his right hand. "BanchoLeomon.".
Alden Alden tries to wake up Katze so she can hold the D-Arc, might need a few moments.
Gaonoir Guess they weren't kidding about the being able to merge into one form. What they do merge into, however, gets a raised brow from Gaonoir, not that it can be seen beneath the helmet, at what they become. ".. Well that's insteresting."

He may reconize the form, but he lets Erika do her thing with the digivice all the same when it comes to scanning. "Bancheo Leomon," she reads off the display as it flashes up. "Ultimate level Beast Man digimon. Vaccine type. Says here they're suppose to be exceptional close quarters combatants... You might have your work cut out for you after all."

"Would be a shame if they couldn't be a challenge." Legs flex briefly, and then kick off the ground to send the armored warrior rushing towards the other. Not wanting to get too rough right off the bat since he's not sure how much these guys are going to be able to take, instead of activating his weapons Gaonoir sticks to something familiar to him in any form, and uses the dash to swing a heavy right hook at Bancho Leomon with one of his heavy armored arms.
Alden The merged digimon streetches a bit, and smiles warmly, "Been aching for a real fight." he says, cracking his knuckles, sword left attached to his belt for now. Any doubts on the skill of the martial artist digimon is dispelled, as he mimics the actions from Gaonoir , and charges as well, bringing his left arm back, and apparently decides to test his strength against his!.

BanchoLeomon's fist meets the other digimon's, a loud, metallic noise heard, and surprisingly, he seems able to match the strength of the hit!. Gaonoir can see a flash of surprise in the other Ultimate digimon, struggling a few moments before jumping back, "Good punch, very good punch.". he praises, a keen eye showing that he lightly shook his hand, perhaps momentarily sore from the hard impact, even as he tried to play it cool.      Alden seems to be ready now, "Let me know if you want my help." he calls to Bancho, but the lion man's attention seems fixed on the other digimon, "Let me try on my own for a bit." he finally asks, tail swishing.

"My turn." He growls, an aura flaring around his form, as he punches on the ground, "Otokogi!", a shockwave shooting through the ground towards Gao, burning with the same fiery aura of Bancholeomon.
Gaonoir Gaonoir snaps back his fist when the other digimon does as well and kippups back a bit. While he prefers martial combat himself, he knows better than to try and stay constantly up in your opponent's face.

Certainly proves to be wise in this case, as if he had been closer he would of never been able to see that shockwave coming. But a few meters difference can make a difference. Especially when you have someone that can spot from the background. "Gaonoir, use your arms!"

Almost reflexively he responds to Erika's shout, holding up both arms in front of him as Bancho Leomon launchs his attack. The shockwave slams into them, and you can hear it rattling the large shield-like vambraces even as the force is enough to push him backwards a bit farther. Some faint smoke whiffs off the surfaces as Gaonoir pulls them back to his sides afterwards. One leg shifts back a bit as he adjusts his balance to brace himself, and an audible click is made as the trio of claws slide out of each armguard, almost as long as his entire forearms. They start to glow black with shadow energy.

"Umbra Cutter!" The sudden swinging up of an arm fires the energy off of the claws, sending it spinning through the air towards the other digimon as a trio of crescent shaped blades.
Alden Alden slowly moves to settle near Erika, just in case he has to get her out of the way of a stray attack, a card already prepared.

The BanchoLeomon flicks one ear as his attack seems to have little effect, but he is not one to back down from a fight!, striking a defensive pose, one of his hands on the handle of his blade, preparing for the incoming attack. If Gao was any closer, he might hear a soft gulp from the proud looking Lion, eyes narrowing at the dark energy, ears splaying at the large weapon.

Either the Bancho is confident, or he is crazy, growling as he unsheathes his blade, the slightly worn down sword glowing brightly as well. "Shishi Raouzan!" (lion king advance apparently being the translation), energy burning across the edge as he slices at the dark cutters, the impact pushing the lion back several feet, hindclaws finally holding onto the ground as he grunts and forces the attack away, one of the blades grazing one arm.

He wastes no time tho, and inmediatly charges towards Gao, moving at high speed, one of his fists pulling back, preparing to punch... before in an even faster movement, he suddenly 'dissapears' from Gao's front, and he comes from the right side, left fist burning brightly, "Burn Bancho Punch!" Up close, it looks like the lion man is already getting worn down a bit.
Gaonoir If it wasn't for those heightened senses and the augmentations to them in his helment, Gaonoir might of never realized his opponent disappeared until it was too late. As is, he turns, but since he's built more for stamina than speed compared to his counterpart, he only gets an arm partway up. Bancho's arm glances off his guard, but that only makes the flaming punch slam into his shoulder instead of slobberknocking him right across the face.

A burst of flames erupts with the impact and Gaonoir twists from it, stumbling back a few steps as he turns to regain his footing. It all looks a lot more flashy than it really is with that cape of darkness flaring about with his movements. Then as part of the move he seems to actually grab onto it, and as he comes to face Bancho again throws that arm forward.

"TENEBRAE SHROUD!"

Shadows seem to splay from within the cape and surge forth to cast pitch blackness around Bancho. As much as the form is Gaonoir's ultimate evolution, the technique is like the ultimate evolution of his shadowplay abilities. Surrounded in a few moments of absolute darkness, it's all but impossible to see the Umbra Gaogamon's form lunge from the shadows, carving a series of rapid swipes with his warclaws.

Though all Erika and Alden would see from outside the darkness is the bright hit flashes streaking with every swipe, and then the 'darkness' shattering as if it too had been sliced apart.

And Gaonoir standing as if he had never moved from the spot he launched the attack from.
Alden Bancholeomon raises his arms to block the... darkness?. He flicks hsi ears, sensing some movement, and instinctively reaching for his cloak for protection, (which reputably mentions being able to negate almost 90% of the opponent's physical attacks), but even then, all he can do is block and stagger back, panting and holding his arm as the attack ends and he finds himself in the middle of the light, slightly dissoriented.

Seems the defense worked, but the couple of hits that got through were enough to force him into pulling back a bit, shallow cuts on his arms and chest, and even on said cloak, which has several deep gouges from said warblades. He even lost his hat, which standsat the feet of the Umbra Gaogamon, "That was amazing." he says softly, panting a bit. "Mind if Alden joins in?" he suddenly asks.

Alden was just staring, "What was that...", gulping a bit as he realizes he'd be in pieces most likely, if caught in something like that. The request for help seems to make him snap from that, reaching for the card, "Not sure how long I can resist, that Devil chip I used really messed me up, but will do what I can, if that's ok.".
Gaonoir "Gaonoir always had the ability to manipulate shadows." Erika muses at the readouts on her digivice. "It's like his cloak is -made- of darkness, so he doesn't have to rely on local shadows in that form to use the abilities." She gives Alden a nudge. "Go on... just don't use that card again. That was.. kind of creepy." Then bounces to her usual cheerfulness again. "Besides, this is a good chance for Katze to practice too!"

Gaonoir stoops down to pick up Bancho's hat, and tosses it back to the leonine warrior lightly. "Erika's right. If she's going to assist you, she needs to learn when to act and how to be your spotter. That's something only experience can really teach you." He steps back an armored foot and resumes his pre-battle stance, blades clicking back into pace. "I'm a good example of what you're going to have to learn to deal with. A foe that requires more than just brute force." Yes, his arrogance is showing a bit, but it's not without some justification.
Alden Alden smiles to Erika's concern, "Don't worry... I honestly should avoid using that at all unless it is the last result... it really boosts my power but... it wrecks me after it fades, ugh." he says softly, giving her a hug, before placing Katze down, "Ok then Katze, use this card, and then I'll let you decide if you want to use more, just remember I don't have hands on some of my forms, so weapons won't help." he says, chuckling a bit at the idea of giving a metal garurumon a sword.

. Alden steps away, nodding to Gaonoir, he does not think he is being arrogant... Alden is feeling lacking in power lately, so he has to learn how to strategize. Katze stumbles to slide the card, "We need to get Taro or someone to figure out how to do this without a card." she says, trying to take a pose after the act. "Warp digivolve, nyah!". Alden once again glows brightly, his form shattering to reveal the mechanical looking metal garurumon, who quickly runs to the left side of Gaonoir, sharing a quick glance with Bancholeomon.

The lion digimon takes the hat, "Thank you, and thanks for not... flying away, I appreciate you trying to fight fairly." he says, purring weakly, before taking a stance. "Ready?" he asks, waiting for a confirmation before resuming.
Gaonoir Gaonoir makes a sort of shrug without moving his arms from his stance. "Hey, I may be a snarkass jerk, but I've got some sense of honor." He smirks a bit at the joke, though the angle of his head and the snout-like structure of his helmet makes it hard to see. "Besides, both of our worlds are at a point where we can't rely on it's hierarchy anymore. If they're going to be protected, it's going to be us that has to do it."

War is a dirty fight. But it's a fight someone has to take on, or no one will survive it.

Considering a moment, Gaonoir turns his gaze to Alden and his now mechanical form. "How strong are your senses? Considering your evolutions are all wolf-like." And he mentioned being able to detect Digimon before.
Alden Alden tilts his head at the question, "I have a very keen sense of smell, and I have a special sense about digimon... I can tell where digimon are within about a couple blocks, especially if the digimon is in an aggressive state of mind, helped my tamer track one or two rogue digimon in the city that way." he begins, blade tail twitching, "It also triggers a 'fight to the death' kind of instinct, like... to fight and devour my opponent, it kind of freaks me out... but learned to ignore it." he explains. "Also, in this form, seem able to scan things a bit, like distance and angles and stuff, pretty much just to help me aim better." he adds.

The mention of heriarchy makes him huff, "Remind me to tell you about the sovereigns after the spar, specially about Zhuqiaomon." he says, grinning. He casually moves a bit further, getting into position. Meanwhile, the leomon puts on the hat and stretches, checking on the marks on his form from the cuts, "I think I am ready to continue, when you are."
Gaonoir Gaonoir ahs at the explaination, nodding his head a bit. "Similar to what I had as Black MachGaogamon then." That visor wasn't just for show. His helmet seems to have similar too, but it's more of a direct link rather than the external display. "Can sympathize with the instict resistance." They saw what happened last time with deletion beam attack, after all.

While not as blindingly fast as his counterpart, Umbra Gaogamon is still quite quick on his feet. He pushes off the ground and charges towards the two digimon, winding back with one arm as he does so. The blades protruding from the vambrace almost seem to become even longer and more vicious looking as they crackle with energy.

"Zenith Claw!"

His forward foot plants in front of him and Gaonoir twists his body upon the pivot, slashing a wide arc towards both of the other Digimon that leaves a sharp afterimage of dark energy in its wake.
Alden Alden nods a few times, "It's like i turn part robot on this form." he says softly, tensing up as he prepares. Katze was sitting besides Erika, holding onto the D-Arc, and shuffling in the card box slowly, simply checking what was there. "Go Metal Garurumon, bite him or something!" she asks, which earns a chuckle from Alden.

Seems the pair were expecting an attack, Alden trying to jump aside, while the BanchoLeomon clenched his fits. To their credit they react, attacking in turn to try to stop the energy blade. Alden shifts his stance, eyes glowing red while the metal wolf's chest parts. A large rocket with a angry, face (think bullet bill) is launched from the opening. "Giga missile!!"

BanchoLeomon meanwhile repeats a previously seen move, digisoul/aura flaring in his right fist as he hits the earth sharply, "Otokogi!". The fiery red shockwave launches towards the dark blade, slamming against it and struggling for an instant before the missile impacts with them (will leave up to you the result XD, I'd say likely a cancel, but I can only guess how much stronger Gao is than either of them).
Gaonoir Shockwave slams into blades and the two struggle back and forth, energy crackling through the air between the two opposing forces. Until a missile slams into the contest and everything is briefly engulfed in the explosion.

Smoke swirls away as Gaonoir can be seen leaping out and back from the cloud. There's digital cracks up and down the vambrace of the arm he had struck with, the warblades shattered apart. Though the latter reforms again when he lands and clenches his fist. "Not bad. Working together to keep me out of direct range."

Grinding a heel into the crystalline ground to brace himself, Gaonoir clenches fists and flexes arms at his sides. The 'mouth' in the front of his chest armor opens, though this time the super-dreadnaught cannon he used on Cherubimon doesn't emerge from it. Instead, an ominous mechanical thrum and several arcs of electricity crackle around it.

"HOWLBACK DESTROYER!"

A powerful electrified sonic blastwave erupts from the opening, sending smoke and crystalline dust flying away from the pressure wave that ripples out from the attack. It's a much more volatile version of the disruptive shockwave his previous evolutions could cause.
Alden Alden smiles as the attacks seem to be enough to stop the charge, even if barely, "Yeah, we figured we should try to combine our abilities." says Banchouleomon, to which Alden adds, "Was his idea, but then again, he is used to teamwork." he says. Katze squeaks and reaches for a card on the deck, clumsily pushing it through the reader, even as the Armored digimon jumps in front of the already worn down BanchoLeomon, "Defense plug-in G!". The metal garurumon's form glows orange as he stands to stop the shockwave, absorbing the brunt of the damage. As the disruptive wave ends, Alden certainly looks affected, some energy and disruption shown on portions of his form, with some scrapes, but does not seem quite as bad as it should have been. "Ok, our turn to attack now." he mumbles, shaking his head.

At those words, Bancholeomon jumps back and away, Alden's form making a familiar series of clicks. "Giga cross freezer!". At least Gao knows he can aim those relatively well, even as the missile swarm flies towards the towering digimon, some of the freezing projectiles land on him, but several seem to spread out, creating large opaque ice crystals along the field, and dust in the air... perhaps the disruption affected his aim?... And where did Bancholeomon go?.
Gaonoir "Oh, good thinking!" Erika chirps when Katze steps in to give Alden some extra defense and let him protect both digimon. Then hmms, looking at her own digivice. It doesn't have a card swipe slot, but does it have some other function that can provide support like that? Maybe it's one of the 'apps' that aren't unlocked yet. She's still figuring out all the things this can do.

"Strength is important, but it's unfocused without strategy. Excellent thinking." The two (three?) Digimon weren't as strong as him, but they were putting the strengths they had to their maximum effect.

The chaos is only added to when Gaonoir steps towards the missile swarm and starts swinging. A few still hit his body and leave icy streaks in their wake, others explode as they slam into the claws, or the ground around him. Spires of ice jut upward from the strange angles, almost looking like they belong as part of the crystalline valley around them.

Then from somewhere in middle of the ice cluster Gaonoir leaps into the air above it, cloak billowing behind him. There's your reminder that he can still fly in this form, even without the supersonic jet engines. Bancholeomon has... mmm, some sort of elusive ability? Something was preventing him from seeing or hearing the digimon move away.

So he focuses on Alden instead. He twists and dives towards the Metalgarurumon, aiming to grab onto the other metal clad lupine with his manipulation of darkness and slam him into the ground. "SOMBRA DRIVER!"
Alden Katze had picked the next card to try!, offense!. "Alden, blast him!". She uses the last card, "Imperialdramon dragon mode, positron laser!." Alden's form begins building energy in his mouth inmediatly, glowing brightly, eyes trained on his target. He is confident Gao can take it, or at least, dodge away!.

The buildup seems slow, waiting until the massive digimon was almost up to him, before opening his muzzle, the helix shaped beam of energy blasting from his muzzle towards the dark knight. Certainly enough to at least slow down, or stop the charge. The attack lingers for a couple seconds, the metal garurumon straining to keep the blast going.

Whether or not that attack can actually overpower Gao proves to be moot, as there is a flurry of movement to the left, Bancho emerging from the newly formed myriad of ice crystals, and jumps at Gao, his energy gathering in his left hand!. It glows brightly as it approaches his target, "Flash Bancho punch!". Alden breaks off the attack just as his partner approaches... the punch getting closer... then suddenly, the energy fades, and it just 'bonks' on their sparring partner, "Gotcha.". he exclaims, smiling. "Mind if we stop for now?, I am a bit out of practice and..." as he finishes that sentence, the digimon glows brightly, before there is a 'pop' noise, the ultimate digimon vanishing! A bearmon and blackterriermon are ejected to the sides, unharmed, if rather tired.
Gaonoir Again attack is strategicly used to counter attack, the resistance between forces delaying both digimon long enough for Bancho to leap back into the fray and ... deliver more of a noogie than a punch. But it was a successful 'tag'. Gaonoir's reflexes respond quickly, not with an attack but to grab the two smaller digimon as they demerge, and land firmly on the ground. "Yeah, I think we're good for now. You guys had the right idea, working together and counteracting my attacks."

Erika picked Katze up before walking over to the group of digimon. "You're getting good at picking what cards to use."
Alden Alden lets out a deep sigh of relief when the spar ends, sitting on his haunches and panting a few moments, tail wagging slowly behind him. He seems reluctant to devolve, at leat for now, eventually rushing to join the two. The small digimon hug back into the armored arms, "Well, we are really used to work as a team of range and meelee." says the Bearmon, while the BlackTerriermon nods, "Yeah, thankfully Alden is mostly ranged, so it worked out well.". The two climb down, with the bear rubbing the back of his head, "Sorry we had to finish that soon, you are just really, crazy strong." he says, cute bear tail twitching.

Alden seems glad he joins, "Hope we managed to give you some exercize, we should do that more, I would use the practice.". Katze seems quite happy to be carried, even letting out an odd purr noise as she looks at the cards, "I picked the one that looked the coolest." she says, giggling, "Aand that matched the situation." she adds, before Alden can go there and see if he can noogie the shinki with a feral paw.
Gaonoir "It was good to see what else this evolution can do before I need it in dire circumstances again." Gaonoir replied as he set the two down. Then let go as it were, the armored form pixelated, though instead of being slouthed off it seemed more to absorb back into his body as he dropped to the ground in his base form. And fell on his butt with a yelp at the landing. "Oof, that's a bit of a drop."

"Alright," Erika put her digivice back in her pocket and pulled open her bag. "-Now- we can have the granola bars." She takes out several of the wrapped snack bars and passes them out. Then looks at Katze apologetically. "Uh, I have no idea what shinkis eat or recharge or whatever with, sorry."
Alden Alden nods, and tries to catch Gao as he fell!, of course, one might argue that landing on metal might be worse, but at least he catches the dog before he hits the ground!. "Need to be more careful with that, perhaps sit down next time?" he offers helpfully, smiling. He flops on his front and streetches, "Glad you and Erika learned to handle that evolution." he says happily.

The two small digimon grab the bars, the Terriermon devouring them at a rather quick pace, "Thamphs." he mumbles, while the Bearmon eats more slowly, a bit of an odd change from earlier!. "Thank you Erika." he says happily. Katze shakes her head, "It's ok, I am fine." she says, moving to pet Alden's armored snout a few times, "Good puppy." she adds. Alden grins, "You enjoy that too much."
Gaonoir Gaonoir slides down off Alden's back afterwards. Metal isn't the most comfortable of landing, but it was less of a distance. "Yeah, guess so." He plucks a snack bar from Erika's hand while she's passing them out, this time going right to tearing it open with his teeth. Much easier that way. He sits down and takes a bite out of it. "So, you were saying something about Sovereigns and Devas?"
Alden Alden huffs while Katze keeps doing the 'cute puppy' treatment, shaking hsi head a bit, and chuckling, "I'm not a puppy, I am a war machine." he begins, before his attention is wrested away to the new topic. "Ah, right." he says, gnawing on a snack bar hungrily. "Well, it's basically the leaders of my digital world, we have the four sovereigns, and hten the devas, who are their hmm... what might be the term, captains?, generals?... they basically work to carry the will of the sovereigns." he explains.
Gaonoir Gaonoir laughs a bit at the two. "Now you know how I feel when someone keeps trying to hug me!" Which is exactly what Erika does, giggling the entire time. "Gah! That wasn't asking for an example!"

"Governers?" Erika provides when Alden stumbles for a term to use. "Ambassedors?"

Gaonoir gives her a light jab with his elbow to keep her from rambling on.
Alden Alden chuckles a bit as he relaxes. "There are four devas, the four hoy beasts... Ebonwumon of the north, Zhuqiaomon of the south, Azulongmon of the east and Baihumon of the west." he explains, "Zhuqiaomon hates humans, and non digimon creatures, and takes any excuse to blame them, or attack them... Azulongmon thinks non digimons are useful, and potential allies, and the other two are pretty much neutral." he begins. "The devas are... hmm, simply obey orders, relay them, lead armies, and tend to be the first to attack if the sovereigns command such." he begins, "There are thirteen devas, and they are split between each sovereign.". He rattles the names, and some personal encounters he had. Seems he only met Azulongmon in person, Vajramon... and he mentions one of the devas is the same species as Bearmon's perfect form, Caturamon.
Gaonoir Gaonoir gnaws on his snack bar more while Alden is explaining. Several of the Devas names are familiar, but he doesn't recall them being anything of specific significance in his world. "Sounds like the Olympos XII. They handled governing the various regions of the Digital World so the Royal Knights could focus on fighting Lucemon and his Demon Army. They were... mostly neutral, putting the safety of digimon as a whole over the war. When the DexDorugremon were released and the warpgates appear they lead as many of the digimon as they could to safety, presumably scattered across the Multiverse now."
Alden Alden listens to the reply, while the bearmon smiles and adding, "The deva Caturamon is stronger than me, we actually met a couple times, he is a really serious person." he adds. Alden rubs hsi chin, "I never heard of the knights in my world, or anything like them, they sound truly impressive." he says softly. "Dexdorugremon?" he asks softly, "I don't recall hearing of that digimon.". The Terriermon gets closer to Erika, perhaps to give her something to release that cuddly energy on, besides poor Gaonoir.
Gaonoir "Bet it's the same situation," Erika comments as she picks the darker colored Terriermon up and pets an ear idly. "They can exist as digimon, but there's not an organization of them."

"Most likely," Gaonoir agrees. "After all, you did just use Imperialdramon's cannon, and he was one of the founders of the Royal Knights." Then he makes an annoyed looking expression, almost as if regretting that he had mentioned that. "That's because they're technically not digimon. They were, as humans would say, soulless. Constructs of animate code built around the X-Program, which is capable of deleting Digimon that don't posess the X-Antibody." Pause. "They were originally meant as a means to clean up clutter in the matrices of the Digital World, but when the Demon War grew more severe they... were unleashed as a weapon of desperation. But..."

Gaonoir stops, taking a deep breath. And another. He almost sounds like he doesn't want to continue, but Erika reachs over to give his shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "Other than the X-Antibody resistance, or those chosen by their master, the Dex-mon don't discriminate. They destroyed Demon legions and normal Digimon alike. We were told at the time it was a necessary sacrifice to stabilize the amount of digital energy that would go into the reborn Digital World."

Another sigh as Gaonoir hangs his head a bit. "It's not until I got here, saw things like the Abyssal Fleet or the elderitch weapons lurking in corners of the Multiverse, that I realized just how much of an extreme Yggdrassil had gone to."
Alden Alden lets out a sigh and seems to empathize at Gaonoir's reluctance to explain one of hte darker sides of his home world. "That... sounds terrible." he says softly, "So... they just... destroyed everything on their path." he says softly, ears splaying. He seems to ponder on the mention of them being... not digimon, and when Gaonoir finishes his tale he inches closer, offering a light brush on hsi side in a clumsy nuzzle, "Those things... remind me to the D-Reaper." he says softly.

He seems to think for a moment, how to explain, "In my home... the digital world started from a computer AI project from a group of humans... the D-reaper, is one of the security features of tha tprogram, that was designed to erase everything if the number of AIs got too big." he begins, lidding his eyes for a moment, "It seems it somehow evolved, as digimon appeared, dormant, until perhaps not that long ago... starting to spread and erase everything as it expands. We try to keep it contained, but it is rather dangerous fight, it... does not seem to think, or feel, spawning odd creatures to fight us, and slowly spreading further." he mumbles a bit.

He goes silent for a moment, shuddering, "I actually end up glitched because of it... I was helping push it off, and got caught, it destroyed my data, up to my core, but my tamer's Digivice somehow fixed me, for the most part." he says, "Lost my ability to evolve on my own, and some of my power, certainly can't remain evolved as long as I used to, but slowly building back to that limit.".

"I actually ended up on the multiverse while trying to retreat from a sudden... not sure what to call it... advanced?, of the D-reaper, me and my tamer got separate... I am sure he is ok, he was with others." he says. "These two" he says, pointing back at the Bearmon and Terriermon, "Are friends of mine, popping here to try to keep me in touch with news, but they tell me teh area is still unstable, so I have not dared to return back and search for my tamer, it is cutting the access to the next layer of the digital world."
Gaonoir "Yggdrassil was trying to save our world.... but desperation drove it to extremist measures even some of the original Knights did not agree with. But it did not take what it saw as dissention in the ranks well, either. You can probably imagine how that went."

Gaonoir paused a moment to pluck the end of the granola bar from its wrapper and toss it in his mouth. "Remember what I said about those Wendimon destroying my home village? I was just a normal Gaomon at the time, but I tried to fight them off all the same. By the time one of the Knight's armies showed up, I was barely alive from the damage. Yggdrassil replaced the code that had been ripped out of me with the Dark Digitron, and that's how I got like," he pinchs the darker fur of his arm with one paw, "this... But I was blind with rage and couldn't remember the exact digimon, so I was told it had been one of the Demon Lord's forces in general so I would fight them without questioning it."

Gaonoir slumped back against Erika's side. "It was to protect our world. That wasn't a bad thing to do... But I've had to do things I realize now weren't what was right." Then shakes his head to shrug off the sour moment. "Sounds like a problem you need more than yourself to tackle."
Alden "And the humans that did that... program, likely had a good reason to do the reaper thing... given what some digimon did to their world... can't blame them too much" he says quietly, biting on another granola bar, and letting out a whine at the explanation of the backstory, "At least you look cool." he says softly, trying to ligthenthe mood a bit. "I did not get anything from that experience, well, aside from being able to use my own digivice" he says softly. He looks around for a moment, and feeling cuddly, tries to lean onto the Bearmon a bit. "At least now you know, and you know better than repeat those mistakes." he says softly. "I want to get stronger to help, to save my world, to push back that thing... and ot help others, but I realize that I also need good friends to help me." he says. "Maybe one day I can invite you to my world, if we manage to clean the path."
Gaonoir "Don't say you didn't get anything from it," Gaonoir retorts. "You survived, and you've learned from the experience. That's more than nothing." Then stretchs out his arms. "While that was a good spar, using that form is still really exhausting. Even without using the super-cannon. I dunno about you guys but I'm ready for a nap."
Alden Alden smiles and nods, yawning as he finally reverts to Gabumon, stretching his arms, "Nap sounds very good." he agrees, moving to give Erika a friendly hug, "We should meet again soon, perhaps to practice together." he says, his lizard tail swishing.
