Momoyo Kawakami      Momoyo, as mentioned before on the radio, is finally trying to learn the kiosk enough to learn the job board. In a fit of frustration, she seems to be pacing like a tiger. While most people in Njorun steer clear of her, the few people awake at this hour seem to give her a wider berth than usual... just because it's obvious when someone in the Union is antsy and bored.

Nowhere is that more obvious than Momoyo, of course. Looking for a fight, a girl to flirt with or a decent bite to eat, when she sits down and starts actually paying attention to the kiosk, a rare sight occurs: she actually can study and use the damned thing. Most of the time she didn't care if people thought she was something of an idiot.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako cheerfully walks into the cafeteria. Although she technically doesn't eat, she still likes watching others eat. Besides, she was working in Union Medical for the day, and just finished her shift... so why not come here?

Of course, Ayako is quick to spot someone else who is antsy and bored! So instead of people giving Momoyyo a wide berth, she walks over to Momoyo cheerfully, "Hello!"
Lyner Barsett      Lyner is in the cafeteria! It's...actually really rare. Misha makes amazing food, so he basically never comes here. This would be one of the once in a blue moon times that he does. Back from a late, late outing, Lyner purchases a burger set and with tray in hand, wanders off to have a seat by said kiosk.

He minds his own business and proceeds to eat, starting with a few fries.
Momoyo Kawakami      Having finally figured out how to order some inarizushi and a beef bowl, she glances sideways at Ayako. Well, now she found out who was going to be paying for her meal instead of herself, quite possibly.

"Oooh. Evening." she replies. It took her a minute that relative to herself, Ayako was actually 'supposed' to be here. Her fingers toss her hair a bit, dressed in her winter clothing which seemed to be black slacks, a sweater and a vest with a silvery necklace around it. She was only a few inches over Ayako's chosen height, but her mood immediately perked up. "I remember your voice... but not your name. I didn't realize you were this cute. Hmhmhm~." she starts to tease Ayako, as if she were a younger girl... and it was understood they were strictly flirting. She was bored, after all. "So are you going to buy me dinner tonight while you're hanging out~?" Her fingers swiftly cancelled her dinner transaction on the kiosk, but it was clear after a moment or two from a careful observer that she was being a bit of a ham.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako inclines her head to the side gently as she is glanced at sideways. "Eh heh... good evening Momoyo!" She waves hello cheerfully towards Momoyo! Ayako herself only rarely wears winter clothing. She happens to like the cold! But when Momoyo doesn't remember her name she nods her head slowly. "Well... I don't blame you. I mean... we only talked over the radio. I'm Ayako Hasekawa! Please call me Ayako!" She smiles brightly.

And then freezes. "Eh?" Ayako's amber eyes blink slowly. She blushes lightly. "A-ah? I'm cute?" That seems to have floored her! "Huh? Oh, you're hungry? Well... sure! As long as I'm not the one making the food." She giggles softly.
Momoyo Kawakami      "Hmhmhm~." seems she's taken an immediate liking to Ayako without a clue who or what she actually is. Stretching casually, she leans her shoulders against the wall like a cool big sis, inviting her to the kiosk instead. She even starts to toy with her ponytail lightly if she steps in to buy Momoyo food, though she only passingly mentions what it is she was trying to order if asked.

"Mmm, more often than not I find there's lots of cute people in the Union, but you're cuter than most." she continues. "I suppose you're already aware I'm a top-level martial artist... so I guess I should ask you what you usually do." she muses aloud. Now that Ayako had cured her boredom for the moment by just being around to be flirted with, she was muuuuuuch more patient, and the bubbly personality of the other vaguely looking Japanese woman was doing wonders for putting off her desire to pick a fight with someone.

Whether a water spirit could tell all that in the ebb and flow of her aura was another matter, since her sort of oppressive ki energy was not something she deigned to hide at all. Subtlety was at a minimum around thuggish, smirking Momoyo.
Lyner Barsett      Lyner eyed this exchange out of the corner of his eye. "......" Munch munch munch.

Was flirting in the cafeteria a regular thing on Njorun? Maybe he should give them some space. Nodding to himself, he casually got up with his tray and snuck off to a further table.

     Let's not bother these two.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blinks her eyes as Momoyo tries to act like a 'cool big sis'. Even though it should be the other way around! Ayako is older, after all. Oh well. She walks over the kiosk and... inclines her head to the other side. "Umm... so what do you want to eat, Momoyo? I mean... I don't really eat, so-"

And then makes a small yelp when her ponytail is toyed with. She looks back at Momoyo slowly. "A-hahah... well... thank you." Ayako nods her head slowly. "Yup! As for what I do~." She grins softly and then does a little spin and pose. "Sometimes a maid, sometimes a witch, but I'm always a Water Spirit!" And then ends with her right hand by her right eye in a v-shape. Of course, she winked her left eye. She then sticks her tongue out lightly. "Although seriously, I'm a healer! I'm not really one to fight myself."
Momoyo Kawakami      She rubs the back of her neck lightly. "You don't eat, huh? Oh. Water spirit. Hmm..." she looks Ayako up and down more critically now, but it's difficult to tell if she was just appraising her or something else. "You don't look like water, but I'll take your word for it. I should have suspected something when I didn't know how to see your aura... the nature of your soul's probably different if you even have one." she muses aloud.

She still grins at the exaggerated magical girl act, though. "Hmm... I tend to heal myself other than extreme circumstances, but I'm sure I must have seen you checking on Kenji periodically and forgotten about it. That week... was a bit of a blur for me." she admits, eagerly taking the food once it materializes. Curling her arm around Ayako's waist, she even ushers her into one of the corner booths, making an already quiet cafeteria even quieter. "The monks are pretty good during fighting tournaments, but I think even the Kawakami Temple monks could learn a bit from you..."
Ayako Hasekawa     "Un. I do drink water though." Ayako giggles softly... and then smiles brightly when she's looked over. "Kyahaha~" Her palms are placed on her cheeks. "I don't look like water, huh? Do you think I pass well for a human girl?" It seems this is a kind of thing that Ayako likes. As for Ayako, she is basically a massive ball of water magical energy. She can't hide it at all.

"Hmm... maybe. But I'm not always in Union Medical. I'm all over the place, really." Ayako curiously notes what Momoyo ordered to eat. She is quietly ushered to a corner booth and sits down next to Momoyo, seeming to be fine with being lead around. "Well, I don't know how good of a healer I am compared to others, but... I try." She smiles softly.

Ayako then gets a mischivous glint in her eye. "Oh... well.. I am made of water, though. Here!" She offers Momoyo one of her hands.
Momoyo Kawakami      Obviously pleased with the offer, she took hold of Ayako's hand and rubbed it up and down. "Hmm, this isn't too, too difficult. I just have to relax a bit more. You show up as easily as any mage, yes." she nods, meditating a moment as those callused fingers caress up and down the top of her hand. She was making a game of seeing how long she cold toy with it until Ayako protested, but really this was just her silly game of flirting like a high schooler. How readily the water spirit realized this or not was a different issue, but her flirting had only come up in passing on the radio a few times before.

"Hmhmhm~. You look like you tried to imitate Yamato Nadeshiko... or the perfect maiden in Japanese." she teases, her fingers drumming on her knuckles lightly. "I need to start wandering Multiverses more often... it was natural for me to wander the Earth but it wasn't something I did often when still in school..."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blinks her eyes quickly at how Momoyo is rubbing her hand and is just plain flirting with her now. She heard how Momoyo flirts on the radio, but... she didn't think she would do it like this! And she blushes lightly when Momoyo brings up a Yamato Nadeshiko. "I... well. I'm glad my form passes! But really. I'm not human. I'm made of water. Like this!" A mischievous giggle follows.

And the seemingly normal human hand that Momoyo is rubbing instantly turns into water. It's still in the shape of a hand. Clear as water. But definitely not solid anymore. At the wrist, the water fades back into color and solidity. "And you should! The Multiverse is a big place, with lots of interesting things to see!"
Momoyo Kawakami      Momoyo's eyes widen. Seemingly, while she wasn't /too/ shocked, it was different seeing it right before her eyes. "Huh." she murmurs, poking her finger into the hand... until it dawns on her not to prod too deeply into Ayako's remaining 'bone structure' lest she start to unsettle her own mind. Thus, for the moment, she actually did have to quit flirting. She'd probably get back around to whispering terrible things in Ayako's ear, but for the moment the fact that Ayako wasn't in a human form at all was more pertinent.

"And here, I thought I just needed to travel to find stronger fights when I was spacing out from boredom." she murmurs, coming back around to what was otherwise a semi-interesting constant topic: how and why Momoyo was obviously a Chancer due to her lack of control. "I don't think you've had to heal anyone yet I've messed up..."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles brightly at Momoyo's reaction to her watery hand. There are no bones inside the watery hand. It feels just the way it looks: like floating water. In fact, Momoyo's fingers can easily just go through the hand and out the other side. She curiously watches how Momoyo deals with a watery hand for a while until she withdraws her hand and reforms it back into a seemingly normal human hand. "Ta dah!" She smiles brightly. Fully back to normal.

"It's not just fights too!" Ayako nods her head once. "Although I do admit, I do like watching a good fight. Maybe living vicariously through another!" She giggles softly and then shakes her head, "There's also a whoooole lot to see and do!" A wink follows. "And there's different kinds of fighting stuff too, if you're really into that sort of thing... like VRMMOs!"
Momoyo Kawakami      Starting to eat her beef bowl and inarizushi, she nods. "Hmmf." Chopsticks had come with her order as a menu option, so she stuck to deftly using those, just as varied as others using forks and spoons. "Admiral Nagato mentioned one of those and I was told about it in-depth but hadn't really considered playing yet..." she shrugs. "I'd rather go hunt down some of the strong names I heard in the Fed and challenge them. Madeline Vance and a couple others..." she trails off.

"I'm looking for strong fights, but I'm not sure how much I should provoke or intimidate the enemy as a supposedly neutral party. I just want a fight, but my contracts cause as many problems as they solve, socially. I can't get involved in the front lines of half the battles. Hell, Yang didn't want me involved in that diplomatic mess on Remnant, not that I really wanted to be involved."

"But mostly I'm really worried about what to do about my sister. I don't mind her being the Union's mascot, but I worry about how she'll handle the visibility compared to how I do as a strong combatant..."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako curiously watches Momoyo eat. Beef bowl and inarizushi, huh? "Un un." She nods her head slowly. "Hmm... as for deciding to 'hunt down' strong people... it sounds like you would be better off actually joining the Union rather than be a... neutral mercenary." She giggles softly, "Then again, I don't like politics at all, nor thinking about this sort of thing, so... maybe I'm not the right person to ask one's opinion." Her head shakes slowly.

She smiles softly. "Hmm... Your sister... well. Since she's officially in the Union, she'll have people obviously watching her back in case she messes up! It's why we're a Union, after all!" Ayako smiles a gentle smile.
