Audrey Stormfist     SECTOR THIRTEEN is the heart of Ramuh, or that's what the Murasame Zaibatsu would tell you. The massive city of Ramuh, given its atmosphere by the fact it powers itself on the lightning strikes of an endless storm that surrounds it. For the unfamiliar, the dark cloudy skies are lit almost exclusively by the bright neon signs all across the city, with lightning flashes contributing as well. Large highways go up and down, segmenting sections of the city, and life in the streets is busy regardless of time of day. In this sector, that comes down to practically just three types of people: businessmen, industrial workers, and Zaibatsu security.

There aren't a lot of buildings in this sector without some form of private security stationed nearby. For most, it's drones, bearing the logo of the Murasame Zaibatsu. Larger, richer buildings have the ability to afford actual human guards in small squads and organized patrols, men and women in modern military getup typically carrying rifles and either knives or swords. And the richest have both, sometimes watched by extremely large drones that probably have more guns and sharp edges than anyone should be comfortable with in the streets.

The closest one gets to the Zaibatsu HQ, the better and taller the buildings get, and naturally, the better they're guarded. The specific target today, identified by Kyra as an easier target for a host of reasons ranging from its location, timing and lack of proximity to a Zaibatsu deployment hangar (meaning heavily armed drones might take a whole extra minute to arrive!), is factory 261-A. There aren't that many factories making MP Cells yet, it's just a number.

The factory itself is on a suspended lot, a large plate of metal kept float by magitech onto which a building has been built. Everything is metal and concrete, reinforced, professional, and kind of lifeless. Patrols wander the edges and rooftops of the factory, while workers wander about the premises, carrying large sealed crates to transport shuttles now and again. Kyra has a map, luckily; this factory was the subject of a documentary a while back and getting a map wasn't difficult. It doesn't have everything on it, but it has enough to go by.

How you arrive is up to you! There's a parking lot for workers that wouldn't be that difficult to get into, there's higher plates you could jump down from, or even maintenance areas with ladders underneath the plate.

A stealthed ship in particular would probably never get picked up by the low level of security present here, so that's definitely also an option.
Juno Eclipse   Something else is in among the drones and security measures that nobody sees, because it isn't visible to the naked eye. Although the Rogue Shadow is a moderately large transport, its cloaking system is bleeding edge; kept well-maintained even at the cost of other core ship capabilities. In other words, even if the rest of the Rogue Shadow is a little bit on the shabby side at times, it won't be spotted.

In the cockpit, Juno's hands trace over the controls, her face set in a stony expression. She's wearing all black today (a throwback to her Imperial blacks, maybe); black leggings, black tunic, black boots, black gloves, black cap to cover her hair, and black coal lines barred beneath her eyes; holstered at her hip are her blasters, but they've also been painted black. She's planning on infiltrating.

"PROXY, give me the final checks. How's the ship looking?"

"Very good, Captain Eclipse. I will maintain our current position, and ensure that the cloaking device remains operational."

"Excellent," Juno states crisply, untangling herself from her seat restraints. She checks her blasters and adjusts her cap (it's her old Imperial cap; waste not, want not). "We're off. Keep the ship safe. I'm counting on you, and if you mess this up, I'm--"

"Yes, yes, Captain Eclipse. You'll throw me out the airlock," PROXY states, almost cheerfully, as he assumes her place in the pilot's seat. "You made that very clear. The Rogue Shadow will be waiting for you upon your return."

Juno gives him a look as she heads aft to the boarding ramp, one that suggests she might feel like taking him apart later. She still doesn't trust that droid...

Her strides are brisk across the deck, and when the hatch opens -- just enough to admit someone -- it's when ship is turned away from the ever-present droids. Just enough for a few figures to leap from the deck, sprint to the nearest cover, and blend in with the shadows.

Juno does exactly that, whipping both blasters from their holsters as she goes, and fetching up against the nearest wall, eyes narrowing as she looks for the nearest point of entry. Her eyes snap to the nearest guards patrolling -- she's out of their line of sight, but she can still see them, weighing her chances for the instant.
Dominic Masoch     Dominic is not here tonight. In Dominic's place is, instead, a guy with a much similar build but wearing gear that looks a bit more like it's from a costume shop (because it is). A wide-brimmed hat, a black and red cloak, and a fancy suit. Over this is a half-mask that only shows the lower half of his face and a rose-hilted sword. It's as if he were some sort of Mask-hero in a Tuxedo. A Tuxedo Mask hero of some kind.

He's sneaking in through the parking lot at the moment, skulking between cars and trying to make his approach to the Zaibatsu factory.
Chica Mendez     If there was one thing Chica Mendez hated, it was setting up a job over the Matrix, over text. Call her old-fashioned, but meetings in the meat made things a lot smoother. They could do things like negotiate price, smile, let Chica scan them through Astral so that she knew she wasn't being screwed with. None of that happened here... But, hey.

It's a lot of cred and tech for this job. Even Murasame's name attached to it didn't really phase her.

Along the dark streets of the storm-covered dark streets came a dark apparition. Cloaked entirely in black, the only other bit of color was her face, painted ghostly white against a black ballistic mask--a woman's rotting face screaming piteously. La Llorona, the infamous Wailing Woman of Aztlan, has come to walk the streets. She notes the patrol routes as she goes along, seeking the shadowy places that always exist. Somewhere Big Brother is blind. She's done it for so long it's become a second nature.

Inside her mask, her lenses are showing her a HUD showing her where to go according to the maps and coordinates that she'd been given. And it gave her handy-dandy ammo readouts. Two mags of Stick n' Shocks for her SMG, two mags of APDS for her heavy pistol, and four mags of regular ammo for both of them. She keeps her weapons under her coat until she actually needs them, though.

Upon coming to the parking lot, the shadowrunner immediately ducks for an area without might light and a little cover--even some bushes or cars will do. Her finger goes up to tap at the comms bead in her ear as she sub-vocalizes to the channel that she'd been given. THen she gets comfortable and starts studying the partrols inside, using her Astral Perception intermittently to attempt to spot any potential magical defenses.
Kyra Hyral     A lot of favors and a lot of wheeling and dealing has been invoked for Kyra to get the people here today. Thoroughly aware that her idea of aggression against the Zaibatsu would generate quite a few frowns of disapproval in her direction, including from close personal friends, the team here today has been assembled via a lot of secrecy and vetting of offers that came in from "Rabbit"'s mysterious message. The Syndicate had been a huge gamble since she knew that many of the members actually worked for their target today.

A briefing has been given to everyone prior to even entering Galianda. Everyone was given the rundown of Factory 261-A and the unique fact that it was one of the few places currently producing MP Cells. The MP Cell, Kyra explained, was pretty much a Killer App as far as Galianda concerned and to have one company-much less the Zaibatsu-in entire control of production would result in some major socioeconomic damage to the plate and potentially the whole world.

Kyra will also take a moment during the briefing to point out prior evidence she and the Light Warriors have been sitting on that implicated the Zabaitsu as the ones that triggered the Shivan War, if only because that is the maximum amount of personal bitterness Kyra will allow herself to inject into this operation. There is absolutely zero mention of her personal issues with Souji Murasame.

Everyone has been warned that disguises are mandatory and callsigns should be employed for all people. Should anyone find themselves compromised, they are to alert everyone and evacuate immediately.

Three main goals have been listed in order of importance from the start: intellectual property theft, subtle sabatoge of manufacturing equipment to introduce defects into the product, and outright destruction. How any of these goals are achieved is left up to the operatives. The factory map Kyra was able to piece together has been distributed to everyone both electronically and physically. Given the way the plant is constructed, of course, Kyra would have pushed for the Rogue Shadow to make their approach.

For this mission, Kyra's clothed in something very, very similar to the light suit she obtained from Deelel's world many months ago completely with face-obscuring, featureless black helmet. Her Matter Manipulator has been subtly integrated into the design and a pair of generic-looking Galiandan handguns are strapped to each of her hips. When she 'speaks' her voice comes out distorted, as if manipulated by a text-to-talk program. Her normally enormous magical signature is completely absent thanks to a silencer (of the more humane variety) embedded in the collar of her suit.

    Kyra depoloys silently with Juno.
Xiao Li Yu      Xiao Li Yu was very much interested in the production of these MPCs. So much so that she decided to step out of her lab and pay Factory 261-A and look in on the assembly lines herself. Of course, she doesn't come here empty handed. She's always prepared to work, wherever she may be.

As such, she's placed herself in the upper level office above the factory floor, overlooking production and packaging. The place where the factory owner typically oversees the production of product and keeps an eye on the entire process. Xiao herself was merely a curious guest. She sat by the windows overlooking the factory floor, laptop set up near the built in consoles, typing away on her own tasks. Likely homework and other research, as well as the total details and specs of the MPCs themselves.

And every so often, she'd glance out the office window, looking over the factory floor to make sure that nothing was going wrong. She wanted this project to proceed without hitches. She had absolutely no concern about monopolies or other such nonsense. She was playing for the winning team after all. All that concerned the Ifriti girl was the successful rollout of this new scientific breakthrough, and the rousing success that would follow.

     Oh, she couldn't wait.
Souji Murasame ASTRAL PLANE:

Chica might have thought that Seattle looked bright and alive.

Ramuh is much like staring into lightning and neon. Opening her senses to the local astral environment reveals that practically everything around her crackles with magical power. The sky is always pulsing with seething lightning, being drawn to distant towers that feed the local power grid. Magical conduits run through buildings, creating bright spots that shine through the surface of the walls. She might remember how some mages use ivy and river stones to protect their places from being astrally projected into. This is more the technological version of it, through sheer accident. The density of the power running through the walls can make slipping through for a spirit difficult, to say nothing of the fact that all the weapons she sees on the guards have a faint astral presence too.

Magic is /everywhere/ here, but outside the wild nd chaotic skies, it is orderly, almost clockwork, a subjugation of nature to progress... But at least it is clean progress. There seems to be no signs of fetid toxic influence here, at least.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason had made herself ready for this, going so far to dye her long hair brown for this operation and is wearing a suit of form fitting armor, with armor plkates over more vital aras. She's trying to leave nothing to chance, and lower the odds of leaving DNA behond for massive mega corp to find. She's got her face masked with a mirroed helmet of generic design. She's also using a very common brand of pistols and saber as well. She's trying to take no chances here as best she can.

She's even left her normal drones behind but she is packing explosives and oddly a number of less lethal weaponry. After all Pirates code, you don't get famour sif you kill everyone, and if your a known kill em all sort? A crew will fight to the death if you show up.

She know she's on the data and she can't help but approve of the measures's she's making she's also got a voice warper and she's deploying just after Kyra does.

She's going to try to loot all the dat she's able to on this project.
Sakura Haruno     Flowers has a couple of problems as far as this mission goes, not that she's really aware of either of them. One is that she's actually quite terrible at sneaking, as she makes her way towards the factory. This is in part because of her other problem; she's kind of not the best at disguises either, and in spite of wearing a mask she hasn't covered her hair at all, the distinctive pink fully on display.

It's hardly enough to identify her alone, but it'll probably raise suspicion, particularly once she gets to the destroying things part of her missing. She's planning on just rampaging once there, full earth jutsu and everything. Her denial later is going to be plausable but threadbare.

Other than the mask, her clothing is as not-her as she could find, jeans and a t-shirt someone had given her for a holiday that had gone unworn to this point. She's not obviously armed, at least, and so looks like nothing so much as someone about to graffiti the walls of the factory, rather than someone about to try to knock them down.
Kay     It's actually very very uncomfortable for Kay here. Considering all the infighting on her world that's crippled humanity, the idea of hitting a human-controlled factory, even for another world, made her awkward. It's not the sort of action she'd usually do. She's really only here because Kyra asked her to be, no other reason. Wearing a mask across her eyes and with her hair tied up and under a hood, she's actually pretty well-disguised as these things go. It helps that she's not super well-known to the Murasame group anyway. The fact that they're suspected of triggering a war does ease her thoughts some as well.

Armed with a pistol and a knife, Kay isn't here to get into any major fights. She's here for support, just in case things go south too fast. She'll insert with Kyra, for now... which oddly means that for once she's not with Berserker.
Fuki     Somewhere inside sits three bodies of varying height and fur. In Xiao's lab there's a human-looking body with an embedded necklace sitting on a chair with some of the internals showing as it gets ready to be upgraded with the MPCells and sitting right next to it is a large feline creature with large whiskers with a tiny, robo-girl done up in a black and purple bodysuit sitting upon the feline's head. Fuki doesn't say anything, just focused on the body at hand.

This was exciting, Lute gave her a new body, something she could join the Human world with as a near equal and Souji and company are providing the magic cells so she can try her hand at magic, an exciting time but it is something that the Shinki's been waiting for, more opportunity to help the Zaibatsu and the Confederacy. A smile is upon Fuki's face, blissfully unaware... just the masterpeice of technology in front of her, oh how her sister would be jealous.
Berserker Berserker comes in intangible and invisible, but she's also fully suspecting some wards and detection magics may be in place. Chica confirms this before she even has to actually use her own abilities. The Servant materializes in the parking lot, looking like a late teens occidental girl with red hair in a ponytail. It's just a randomly cobbled together disguise, as actual mimicry with her shapeshifting isn't what it's for in her case.

Unarmed as she might appear, she's going to just be looking for an entrance... via finding a guard who might step off to the side, perhaps to smoke or just head to the bathroom. Unfortunately Kay didn't give her SPECIFIC orders on what to do, so she's going to handle this her way and look for... vulnerable points.
Starbound Flotilla     The Starbound Flotilla is high up in orbit, keeping a nice low geostationary over Ramuh as usual. The captains, each aboard their own vessel, have completely failed to detect the Rogue Shadow; even assuming they had the sensor capacity to detect it in the first place (they don't), Juno knows them too well to not be able to bypass them. They're ready to deploy, but hardly intending to. In fact, two of them are playing cards right now, over their holosystems, though Moonfin on the observation deck is taking in the view from above Ramuh.

It's likely that they can hit the teleporters as soon as an alarm sounds. They have a great deal of investment in this MPC business, after all. Especially a red-eyed man who just bluffed Pavo out of a chunk of cash. From below, their distant ships might easily be detected by relevant scans or searches; it's not like this place has too many other satellites, or a long distance from orbit with its plate structure.
Sanary Rondel      Sanary's taking it fairly easy tonight even as she's on patrol duty, taking a leisurely stroll along one of the production wings of the facility. She's giving gentle encouragement to the workers handling the actual production of the batteries, and not even a sarcastic or threatening way! No, the cleric's actually looking quite pleased with the whole setup and just a little proud. Sure, she might not have actually /done/ anything to help in their development or production, but somehow...

Tonight just feels like it's going to be a good night. She can't be too careless, of course, and she's even decked out in her usual heavy combat gear, but it's not like anyone would be crazy enough to actually interfere with something that could change the world for the better, right?
Audrey Stormfist     ---PARKING LOT:
Dominic and Chica, currently using cars and small airships (or shuttles, pick your word) as cover, don't have to worry about patrols too much. They see, occasionally, the odd engineer, worker or even security guard headed home, generally at the exact minute or two following another having arrived. This factory-- all Zaibatsu factories-- run like clockwork, under the rigid eyes of people like Audrey and Xiao, who aren't much fans of wasting time. That does mean one thing: almost everytime they can witness someone arriving, they know they have a minute or two before they see someone leaving. That gives one of many things: a window to move unseen, timing to supplant a worker or at least take his kaycard, or such!

Then again, they may not need that much effort to get into a side door through the parking, given what a certain masked ninja might be about to start.

    ---ENTRANCE WALLS:
Hanging out by the walls near the factory's entrance, having slipped past the guards in a brief moment, Sakura does attract the attention she expected. One of the armed guards eventually walks up to her, tipped off entirely by her clothes. She points his rifle at her, but he's being pretty polite given this is private property and he's packing stun rounds. "Find other walls to scribble on, kid, move on. This is private grounds, most of us have authorization to shoot first, you know?"

If her plan was to rampage anyway, she has her first punching bag.

    ---Rooftop:
The easiest place for a Servant to find a side-entrance is the roof, given the ability to just appear there. Using chimneys or even the large wires that connect the floating plate to the MP network of Ramuh, one can watch the back and forth patrols. Unfortunately, they're pretty rigid right now; whenever one takes a break, there's a replacement already in position. She might have to get violent to get through, or try actual trickery.

One thing the Berserker will note is that the walls of the factory are filled with magic. Wires run through the city, carrying it from lightning rods. If she were so inclined, she probably could tap into the energy of the factory to cut the power out, or even to fuel herself. On the other hand, it's on a plate kept afloat by magitech... so don't take too much.

    ---BACK AREA:
The Rogue Shadow drops Kyra and her large team in the back of the factory between two drone patrols. Unseen by sensors, the ship could remain idle there likely for days before people ever noticed anything was wrong, probably by accident.

This area gives a good view of the hangars of the factory, where transports idle being loaded (or unloaded), either bringing materials in or shipping batteries out. A transport just left, and one just arrived; as workers unload crates, what might strike Juno, Lyria, Kyra and Kay as odd is that the crates are marked with MEDICAL and BIOHAZARD logos, and it looks like the transports are equipped for cooling.

Given the size of the crates, getting into the hangars wouldn't be hard, as long as one could avoid the drones or had a diversion. Juno can quietly take one of the generic, flying round drones out, but it's not going to help with the ten or fifteen more flying circles over the area.

Obviously there's some pretty big open doors here for the merchandise to go in and out, but finding a way inside was never the issue. There's a couple drones around each door, and one at each transport, not to mention the dozen workers hauling the crates around.
Kyra Hyral     Given her medical background and current internship with one of the other invaders, Kyra's quick to notice any crate marked with the biohazard symbol. It was a little odd to see that kind of cargo coming /in/ to a factory-going /out/ from whatever infermary or medical center this place might have but not going /in/. But as for getting in themselves...

Kyra quietly mentions over their encrypted tacband that she's going to create a quick diversion to attract attention. Passing a hand over her matter manipulator, it disgorges a device that Lyria would recognize as one of Kyra's home-made explosives, though it isn't /quite/ of the super destructive type. Swiftly, she tries to adhere it to one of the passing transports, then motions for everyone to back away and get ready.

When it goes off, the effect is actually pretty mild. There is no huge explosion-no, there is instead a localized EMP (though more accurately, lightning magic) meant to shut down the transport and draw attention to the downed truck, enabling everyone else the opportunity to slip in.
Audrey Stormfist     ---KYRA:
The EMP grenade disables a transport. Workers start grouping up by the now stalled shuttle, and drones come investigate. The floating, silver and black orbs are pretty quick to check not just around but under the vehicle too, identifying the marks of an explosive having been used but not the brand and make of it. It certainly isn't any bomb in the Zaibatsu catalog or database.

A SILENT ALARM rings in Xiao's office, also redirected to the Flotilla in orbit. There's no point in screeching alarms when you don't know what's going on yet; it'd just let the intruders know they know. Although, they probably already do know that they know.

'TRANSPORT DAMAGED BY UNKNOWN EXPLOSIVE, CARGO AREA. CONTENTS SECURE.'

The fact the drones have to secure the vehicle does mean there's a bit less orbitting the factory now. There's a brief window where people could run inside, while replacement drones are on their way to the doors.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason after some chatter with the resst of the team Lyria is ready to deloy she knows what her job is, do it and get out. The only regret she has is she'll likely not see Souji's reaction to this yet? She wonders if he almost expecting something like this. The more she thinks about that, the more it worries her. Thankfully things seem be drawing her attention from those thoughts. Her eyes narrow eyeing the biohazard logos on various crates.

<<What are they using /that/ stuff for?? No matter I'm starting to wonder more about these batteries.>>

She gets Kyra's about to make a distrtaction so she' ready to get going. She has to be ready to act hopefully she'll not even need to draw her weapons if everything goes right.

With that opening she's going to move and try to make for her objecive the first project terminal connected to the new batteries she can find.
Berserker Oho! Now THIS is interesting. The lack of openings annoys Berserker some, but as she runs her fingers along the wall... well, there's something else to see. Knowledge of electricity and the like came with her summoning, but it's magical power she senses, her natural witchcraft feeling it thrum under her fingers, and her Servant nature certainly confirming it.

She isn't a saboteur of any kind, sadly. She doesn't know what lines to yank, what to mess with specifically. Sooo... she'll just rely on luck. Her shitty luck stat. Plunging a hand down, she picks a line at random and just lets the energy course through her. As a Servant, she can consume some of it, but most of the point is to siphon it away from the BUILDING. "Hm hm..." Well hey, if this draws the guards, all the better!
Chica Mendez     So much magic made it really hard to find things in Astral around here... and unfortunately she knows she can't astrally project to try to sneak into anywhere important to spy first. More annoyingly, it looked like they'd just done it. Probably didn't know how lucky they were, the bastards.

But that's okay. Once she spots the entry-leaving process for the workers and decides to go for one of the security members that was supposed to be coming in. She sneaks as close as she can to the gate and the incoming rent-a-cop, summoning magic into her hands as she slowly chanted in the mystic language of her nahualli. As he hits the best point of ambush, she fires a Force 5 Stunball that knocks him cold even before he hit the floor. From there it's a simple matter to snatch the guard's keycard and start going inside, heading towards the production facility.
Juno Eclipse   Juno's eyes flick out over the hangar area, narrowing slightly as she takes in the details. They narrow even further as she takes in the markings on the supply crates. Why are they marked with Biohazard and Medical?

No time to consider that. Things are happening. Holstering one of her blasters, Juno assumes a two-handed grip on the other, using her thumb to flick the safeties and adjust the settings. Non-lethal, but it'll hopefully still pack a debilitating punch. As Kyra prepares her distraction, Juno takes her opportunity to melt into the shadows. Not quite as gracefully as Galen would -- and without the deadly intent -- but with luck enough to fool the transport workers.

Her eyes turn up to the drones patrolling, small and circular and perfect for target shooting. Juno raises her blaster pistol; squeezes one eye shut to sight. Once the thing is within range, she squeezes off a quick shot.
Dominic Masoch     Rather than attempt to sneak in, Dominic instead... reaches into his cape. He begins going through the parking lot in a very loud fashion, "A MONOPOLY IS NOT STYLISH!" He says, his voice warbling and disguised by a modulator as he attempts to begin making a massive scene, "MARKET DOMINATION IS NOT IN THIS SEASON!"

From out of his cape, he pulls... a stack of pamphlets. He does not necessarily agree with Kyra committing terrorism, but he knows he can't stop her. Instead, he will be around in case she needs him and protest in his own way: Political activism.

Pamphlets are left on vehicles and tucked into doors, making sure people see them. He even hands them to workers as they head into work, "The Tuxedo Hero wants you to know that contributing to an economic chokehold is poor style. A stylish hero would take a stand and protest this." He says to one worker.

He figures Kirin will be out to yell at him really fast.
Xiao Li Yu      Xiao glanced up from her work at the notifcation appearing on her screen. "....Aiyaaaaa..." And she sighed out her usual phrase of exasperation. "Fuki, dear, it seems that the tune up on your body will have to wait." A thumb is jerked in the direction of the alert on screen.

"Be a dear and check it out, would you?"

With a smile, she turned back to the computer screen, cracking her knuckles before bringing up multiple security camera feeds to see if any of them have seen anything. Or if any have been taken out already. "Let's see now...what are our little rats up to..."
Sakura Haruno     "Most of you have authorization to shoot first? Can I see your authorization? I'm a little lost." 'Lily' will state, looking up and over at the guard that's approaching her. That's about as far as the ninja will try to go with deception, though. She's going to move, quickly by most people's standards, trying to slam her foot into the gun to kick it away.

She's actually making an effort to disguise her fighting style some, though the incredible strength of her blows is still something of a signature. She's trying to hide that by mostly kicking, but if the guard manages to dodge her followup kick at his stomach, she's going to crack the ground where the strike lands.

"Mind showing me where you keep all the gold?" She'll ask, trying to throw out a false reason as an excuse for the other guard. Assuming he's not just going to shoot.
Sanary Rondel      After hearing the news of intruders over her comms, Sanary sighs before cupping her hands in front of her mouth. "Alright, people! Get to the break room, single file, no pushing!" She calls out across the production area, trying to get the attention of the workers as best she can. "You'll be safer in there while we check out the disturbance! Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay!"

Such a caring security officer. Sanary even makes sure the workers are actually getting to the room and not getting stabbed in the back by saboteurs or something! As calm as she sounds in trying to usher the workers to safety, though, those who might have already heard Sanary use this exact tone in the past would probably know that she's actually quite pissed now.
Fuki     Well, guess it'll have to wait. Fuki gives a brief nod and, with some typing done by Xiao, is also patched into the Murasame's security feed. INFINITE VISION.... little bitty shinki. Ducking behind the Coeurl's scruff, she buries into the fur to keep her hidden, her stealth functions turning on and blipping her out of radars and cams. "Alright, Keesha. Let's go hunt some rats. You can eat them too." Fuki smiled under that fur, using the video feed to help direct the large, whiskered kitty.

Fuki and Keesha turn this way and that, soft paw-steps tapping on the ground, claws making noises with each calculated, slow step, the Coeurl was stalking whatever prey that the Shinki's going to give it... those whiskers twitching back and forth behind it, that tail lashing out in anticipation. There were rats in the building and Keesha was going to be the best damn mouser in the building... Or at least try.
Kay     Oh good, a distraction! That's just what Kay needed! "I'm going to check out those containers," she asides really quickly. It's a change in plans, but there's a lot of flexibility in this simple plan, plus Kay is used to working alone, just her against the world.

So Kay quickly sprints for cover and starts trying to creep up on the nearest of the oddly-labelled crates, searching for a way to open one and get a peek inside. Maybe like... yanking those open and peering at the biohazard stuff isn't the best idea, but that doesn't seem to occur to her.
Audrey Stormfist     ---LYRIA:
It's not in the cargo un/loading area that Lyria is going to find those consoles, unfortunately. There's crates here, mostly. A lot of crates. Assorted Zaibatsu products, like spell shells for the various gunweapons. Outgoing batteries. Incoming medical(?) supplies, which are headed to a freezer. There's shipping consoles, for sure, manifests and book-keeping, but nothing technical. She'd have to head deeper in, past the production area, if this wasn't enough to satisfy her.

    ---BERSERKER
The Servant grabs one of the countless wires around the roof, likely punching through concrete or metal to reach it. And then she drinks! Delicious, delicious magic.

    --ALL
The plate the factory is on suddenly rumbles. LOUD ALARMS go off indicating power failures in the magitech keeping the factory afloat, caused by a potential power sink on the roof. Engineers scramble to fix the issue (and will manage it, unless stopped) before the plate loses too much altitude (or worse, crashes).
Souji Murasame OUTSIDE:

A number of the local guards aren't even KIRIN. Well, except for Sanary, who likes to volunteer for weird shifts, and the other security officers. Most of the boots on the ground are general Murasame Security forces, the definition of local rent-a-cop for this Sector. KIRIN wouldn't be leaving holes this big if their assault units were completely handling active protection. They must not actually be expecting trouble. So much for RAIJIN, right?

Nevertheless, a pair of Murasame Security guards approach the Tuxedo Hero, no doubt drawn by his stylish opposition to an impending monopoly on a world-changing technology. "Sir. You are causing an undue disturbence." Guard A says, his voice muffled behind his helmet and speaker.

"Please move along. Accidents sometimes happen to people who get too loud out here." The other guard says, shrugging in a heavily insinuating way.
Audrey Stormfist     ---JUNO & SAKURA
Additional LOUD ALARMS go off (and by this point that's more than any factory wants to have going off at once) as Juno shoots down three of the drones, taken out by blaster fire instantly. They crash down, the head-sized orbs sizzling and damaged beyond flight. Sakura meanwhile puts her foot down very literally, knocking the rifle out of the guard's hands and causing him to fall back when she's kicked, writhing in pain.

An additional guard levels his rifle at Sakura, shouting into his helmet. "Violent intruder on the premise, guard down!" He opens fire! It's... not bullets. Zaibatsu rifles use one's own magic to fire magic, aspected by whatever rounds are loaded. Most of these guys have lightning or status effect rounds.

This particular guard has petrify rounds (RNG!).
Kyra Hyral     With the distraction successfully set, Kyra sneaks her way out of the area and into the cargo hold through the previously-guarded doors. She gives Lyria a silent nod, relying on her to track down the technical data on the MP Cells for later plundering. Given the strange opportunity she's been presented with, she goes to make a quick investigation of the medical crates, fiddling with her matter manipulator until she digs out a very specifc but very mundane item:

    A crowbar.

Kyra taps something on her suit just below her collarbone, activating a camera that did /not/ come from Galianda. In fact, pretty much all of her gear is not native, owed in fact to the Silencer issue she had to manage around.
Dominic Masoch     "You cannot silence that the true disturbance is YOU, my friends!" Tuxedo Hero says, adjusting his cloak and flicking it a bit. His gloved hands now have two stickers in them, the kind that break apart after they're stuck to something and are almost impossible to get off without a scraper.

With a swipe of his hand, those stickers are slapped right across the face visors of the two guards that are coming to hassle him. It's technically not vandalism because they'll come off if you wash them, but it's incredibly inconvenient within the bounds of the law.

Having hopefully blinded the guards, he goes back to littering the lot with pamphlets.
Starbound Flotilla "Huh."
"Ye got that too?"
"Yeah. Heading out."
"Security can probably clean up, ye know."
"Probably's for nerds and people who lose at poker."
"You intend deployment?"
"Gonna drop! Get teleport ready, fish!"
"No time for the Project armor. We will deploy in durasteel."
"Affirming. Agreed."

Six thick, bright red beams descend from the sky, slamming to the ground near the cargo area. All six emerge in shininy light...

The STARBOUND FLOTILLA are here, in their standard Durasteel equipment! Moonfin, the fishman, is in elaborate full-body durasteel armor that looks like a powered cross between a diving suit and a samurai's armor, glowing cyan at the faceplate. Biteblade, the humanoid plant, is in durasteel plating with elaborately carved wood and bone ornaments over glowing powered components that glow an intense green. Pavo the bird-girl wears a pirate-aesthetic set of mesoamerican-style armor, with yellow bands of energized fabric linking the pieces and powering them. Albert the monkey-man is wearing elaborate dystopian commando armor reconstructed with a 'rebel spy' aesthetic: A sleeker faceplate, a slimmer form, and a more chaotic design that integrates thin, resilient plates of durasteel, and lines of bright white. George (just plain human) wears a set of futuristic EVA-combat and exploration armor in a suit that glows a gentle red at the faceplate. Seft, the robotic Flotilla member, is wearing full-on medieval knight armor with a soft energized blue glow below the plates on her body, and especially around the eyes. Each has a heavy industrial-yellow two-pronged plasma-cutter-like tool strapped to their side, a Matter Manipulator.

They quickly get to work. Pavo's heading off to examine that EMP'd transport -- easy pickings if someone wants to ambush the Starbounders -- but the other five are spreading out, starting to move between the crates, heading inward... They're not here to keep people from getting in, they're here to make sure nobody manages to get out. They fail, utterly, to notice the Rogue Shadow nearby.

"Fan out. Find the intruders. Pavo, check the transport."
"Affirming. Understood."
"Aye, cap'n."
"Yeah!"
"The rising tide finds those who hide in shallow waters."
"On it."

The alarms are going off. They're headed for the shots being fired at Juno, but they're not very quiet about it. Someone should handle that before Moonfin, the closest to her position, gets to her!
Audrey Stormfist     ---CHICA:
Chica knocks down a guard and takes his keycard. She might have issues with the fact she doesn't look like she belongs in the factory, but in the short term she can get into any of the side doors. A certain SHINKI might have an eye sharp enough to spot the intruder in the mess.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason doesn't wait too long here she does make sure her helemt cam does get the ID codes of some of the crates before she moves on, they can try to track that later, she's after project tech information and is going to have to try to get in deeper into the complex which is just what she's going to do. Lyria hails her tail and is trying to move on. Lyria hopes she can put them to use or even more imporanyly make the tech open source to prevent any one company having full control over it.

She hauls tail to get inward even as the Flotilla arrives. The company is bringing in their heavy hitters fast, they really did hit the right spot.
Sakura Haruno     It's not like the guard could know that he'd be better off trying to hit Sakura with the actual gun than with that sort of effect; she manages to mostly duck under it, her chakra fighting off a little bit of sluggishness as the effect attempts to take hold of her. She'll grab for the downed guard's gun, and pause a moment while she considers how to use it.

A few seconds later, the conclusion of how Flowers can use the gun best reached, it's flung at a high speed at the guard shooting at her's head. The medic will wait a moment or three to see if he reacts before heading that way. "Alright." She'll say to herself. "Now what?" Destruction and distraction was her mission, after all, and she seems to be succeeding at the latter even if she's wildly failing at the former.
Juno Eclipse   Alarms go off as the droids short-circuit and crash into the ground, and Juno immediately pulls her blaster back in, pressing herself against the wall and attempting to sidle away from her previous position. They're the same sort of tactics a sniper would use -- take a shot, and then immediately pack up and move location to avoid detection. Except instead of a proper rifle, she has a pistol.

Thank goodness for guys like the Tuxedo Hero, because his antics are probably making life a lot easier for her. Part of her almost wishes Galen were here, too. If there's anything he's good at, it's creating a very flashy, very bloody, but ultimately very effective distraction. Galen does 'subtle' about as well as an angry rancor turned loose in a droid shop.

"...Heh," she says to herself, very softly and sourly. "I should have known."

Juno shrinks back as the Core Fleet begins advancing on her position, although it seems they haven't yet found her in the shadows. Her face turns in a sour smirk when she recognises the stylings of their armour.

A quick glance is thrown in the direction of the ship. The hull is invisible, and only an expert's eye or very sophisticated sensors would pick up on the slight wavering of heat from the engine exhausts. She knows precisely what to look for, and notices it right away. Good. PROXY's still holding things down, and their escape route is still available. She'll flee to the ship if she has to; she knows that any one of the Core Fleet would outclass her, and five against one are odds she doesn't particularly care for.

Glancing down quickly to fiddle with the settings on her blaster, she affords it a little more power without actually entering into the lethal register. The muzzle is raised, held close; studied closely and fixing the one she figures as the most dangerous in her sights.

Juno eases one eye almost closed and takes aim at Biteblade, tracking the Floran carefully before firing off a quick, surgeon-precise shot at whatever she judges might be a weak point in the armour -- not to kill, but to disable. If Biteblade gets to her first, she's a dead pilot. Actually, if any of them get to her first, she's fairly certain they'll hand her over to Vader. And if they don't, any of these yahoos from Murasame would. That's still a fairly hefty bounty...

...but she's no fool, already using her cover to sprint for the next cover, staying in the shadows as closely as she can. Her ultimate path is taking her back towards the invisible form of the Rogue Shadow.
Audrey Stormfist     ---KAY:
Finding one of the medical crates that's been left alone due to the sudden panic caused by Berserker's stunt on the roof isn't hard. Kay starts poking around, finding the crates not difficult to open with any of the crowbars laying around. They're also able to accept a slight investment of magic to lock or unlock.

Inside, Kay finds HUMAN ORGA-- wait no, that's just... a crapton of green things. Tentacles? Teeth? Plantmatter? Weird... eyestalks. Frozen monster organs? Probably a Malboro. What might stick out is that they feel slightly magical. The bodies have been conserved in such condition that the bits and pieces of the monsters still have magic in them.

It's probably a relief that these aren't human organs, but this is kind of creepy too.
Chica Mendez     Suddenly there was people going loud all over the goddamn place, and Chica winds up curling up in a dark shadow as she feels the wobbling of the plate. Goddamnit, they were doing so well. Nobody had freaking known! Does every op these bastards do go loud!? "Quetzalcoatl tan my fucking ass!" The elf growls under her breath in Spanish.

Thankfully, nobody knows where she is--and she'd dragged that poor bastard she Stunball'd into somplace at least mostly covered. All of the disturbances had been away from her position thus far. A few guards jog past her position, maybe to deal with the dude suddenly out protesting. "Be real goddamn nice if we could hear enemy chatter..." She grumbles. At least the area stays clear for a few seconds afterwaards, and La Llorona snaps the keycard up against a plate and pushes her way into what her map has told her is the production area for these so-called MP batteries.

Unfortunately, it's not like she's got very many places to hide, much as she tries. If Xiao isn't able to see her on the cameras, Fuki probably can, especially when she goes running to try and find a sample to stuff in her pocket and take away with her.
Audrey Stormfist     ---LYRIA:
Lyria notes down the tracking numbers of the battery shipments. This might come in handy later if they can find a way to actually follow them. There's a chance the batteries are just headed off to stores across Ramuh, but even if that's true, it will give the group information on their shipping routes. They could play highway robber at a later date with them.
Berserker It's all going well until Berserker notices the lurching. Hm. Maybe the alarms aren't actually a good sign at all! That's what she gets for trying something technological when she's really a chef! She nudges the cable back into place, patting it a few times before glancing around.

Scoot scoot. Slowly, she starts edging away, and does the typical distraction when in this situation. She starts to whistle aimlessly. Surely, a master of deception! Yes, she can stalk, she can shapeshift, but actually SNEAKING and LYING are not the same things.
Xiao Li Yu      And there went the actual alarms. Xiao sighed, seeing her feed shut down. And then the faint sound the gunfire followed off in a distant part of the factory. The cargo region, no? "Aiyaaa..." Seriously. You make one scientific breakthrough, and suddenly the terrorists come out of the woodwork.

With that, the researcher stood and dashed out of the office. Once she reached the stair well leading to the factory floor, she hopped the railing and sailed down for a few moments, before her anklets lit up, carrying her in flight.

Veering through the air and avoiding stray fire, Xiao landed on the factory floor, at the end of the cargo region. She can spy someone dressed in street clothing with a mask and striking pink hair headed in her general direction. She smirked and raised an arm, a metal gauntlet phasing into existence over her hand and forearm.

"I have visual on one little rat." Shr mumbled into her comm, spying the factory security and Flotilla engaging another intruder. "I'll deal with this one myself." Lowering her arm, she clenched her fist, muttering to herself. "Blizzaga." Her entire figure became cloaked in an aura of shimmering blue.

And without further ado, she dove straight towards 'Lily', her anklets giving her an extra boost of speed. "Hello, rat! We happen to be the exterminators! Be a dear and stay still, why don't you?"

Once in range, she let loose a single powered punch, which upon contact, would cause an explosion of cold air and ice crystals that would attempt to grow on Sakura, wherever it touched.
Fuki     With a grin in the fur, the large cat just starts breaking into a run, making turns by hopping onto the wall and then launching off in the other direction. "Down this hall. Now take a left. Down the stairs... take a right." she gives orders to the coeurl epic mount, a map of the facility pulled up in her periphiral vision. Fuki had to map it just in case, and it's paying off. "Where oh where is our little rat gone, oh where oh where can it be..." she hums softly, a flash of light and the now armored Shinki... fox mask in front of face, scythe in hand as she pops up onto the Coeurl's head, holding onto some fur as her wings fold up tightly upon her back.

Down the hall the Coeurl bounds and making one last wall hop, the pair skid into the open area of the production floor, "Hmm, boss won't be happy if I do any massive destruction here, so, let's try to end this ... quickly." A loud roar is given by the Coeurl, announcing their presence towards Chica, the air filling up with magic, centering around the twin large whiskers. Electricity crackle...

In a voice over the intercoms of the production area, comes the tiny shinki's question, "I don't suppose you'll make this easy on me and submit to ... a visceral inspection now, would you? Or you can turn tail now and leave.... without anything."
Starbound Flotilla     "Floran take fire!! Auuuugh!" Biteblade hisses in pain! Since the Starbounders can't get on EXACT fix on her position just from ambiguous nearby firefights, but it punches through a weak segment of armor, provoking a spray of splinters and Starboundian durasteel and knocking Biteblade flat on her ass, winded by the ambush. Albert is swiftly covering her, dragging her into cover...

"Biteblade's down! Cover!"
"They will be halted; the sea abhors a defiant vessel."

But Moonfin was closing on her first. He hears the blaster shot and he's off like a bolt. He's not unlike the jedi of Juno's world; the power katana he draws hums with energy, and he intends to chase Juno down, tanking the muscle strain it takes to deflect some of those shots if she brings out more. Seft and George are flanking; they're trying to close her in and keep her from retreating, even if they don't know how close she is to that! But if at least one of them is occupied, Juno can probably make it to the Rogue Shadow...
Audrey Stormfist     ---KYRA:

Kyra finds the same as Kay! Except it's not Malboro parts, it's imps and goblins. Arms, legs, intact heads, all cooled and preserved such that the corpses still have MP. Unlike Kay, though, she's able to take pictures and film of this! It's unclear why the factory is receiving these body parts, but there Kyra goes, evidence. Of something. Surely, something evil.

But collecting monster parts isn't really a crime, is it? Adventuring guilds do it all the time. Hell, it might be where the Zaibatsu gets them! (Spoiler: it more or less is, shipping information could confirm this.)

All around Kyra now, workers dash, reaching for panic rooms. They abandon their cargo, thoroughly trained to ensure company asset safety: their lives. Armed guards will be securing the factory itself, these workers would just get in the way. At least, here. A higher grade factory might have engineers competent in combat, but these guys are more about the work.

That'd make it pretty easy to head deeper in right now, given the fact most guards and drones have started looking at the actually loud troublemakers.

The production area is just one room over, still buzzing with the loud metallic sounds of the automated assembly lines, which have not stopped despite all this chaos.
Sanary Rondel      A power disturbance? Sanary wobbles a bit as that lurching starts and stops, bracing a hand against a wall before holdingh er hand up. "Everything's okay! Just stay inside, and we'll make sure you're all safe!" She calls out to reassure the workers before heading for the elevator. Although she's not an electrician or a... Magiclectrician or whatever, she can at least accompany them to make sure things are going alright!

And so, they go up to the roof. Sanary's more than ready to protect them from any attackers, at least, and she takes the lead in heading towards the wires that Berserker had messed with just moments earlier. A kite shield nearly as tall as Sanary is raised in front of her, an oval shield just as large is strapped to her back with a weird-looking sword sticking out from under it, and she's covered from head to toe in green armor!

All the more reason to take the lead and make sure those electricians are protected, then. BERSERKER might just happen to see them pass by if they don't run directly into her...
Audrey Stormfist     --SAKURA:

    CLANG.
    Crash.

Sakura proves she is a Ninja to all witnesses by using the THROW command to hurl a gun at someone and knock them out. Seriously, only a Ninja would do that. Or a Samurai, if it was money she threw, but it wasn't.

And now she's busy with Xiao!
Souji Murasame The guards are not prepared for the debonair response. Now they have stickers jammed on their visors. And worse, they're CHEAP, ANTI-MURASAME STICKERS. Ugh, that's /terrible/. The pair of guards yell, both of them turning to struggle with their helmets. Guard A tries to scrape it off, but just gets his visor covered in bits of sticker and crappy adhesive. "UGH! Damn hippies!" He yells.

Guard B, however, just pulls his helmet off, revealing a grumpy-looking, fat jowly face that looks like he's had too many donuts and not enough leg days. "Okay, you." He growls, his face exposed now as he tucks the helmet up under his arm. "You're going to leave now." He holds up a can filled with an infamous concoction: Derived from the drool of Malboros, the BB Spray is known to be a highly unpleasant aerosolized concoction usually reserved for driving off hungry, feral random encounters.

Looks like he thinks a fashionable hippie is the same thing. Thankfully, TUXEDO HERO has a moment to react before that spray starts crimping his style...
Kyra Hyral     Kyra frowns beneath her face-obscuring helmet, recording the visual, but ultimately rather disapopinted. Collecting parts of monsters and researching them really /isn't/ a crime. It's actually one of the more normal things a company could do on this world. Kyra slides the lid back onto the box and quickly moves, slipping into the shadows as workers panic around her and flee for their lives. It wouldn't be long before actual armed resistance started showing up-following that, KIRIN if they were really unlucky. From the sound of it the Flotilla was actually on-world, which is also problematic since they're all pretty dangerous. Time was clearly in short supply now and an evacuation would have to be done soon.

Despite that, Kyra takes the opportunity to head in deeper, especially with Lyria moving to help Juno against the Flotilla. Beyond her own guns and the devices she could produce from her matter manipulator, there was not much else Kyra could offer in a fight unless she wanted to blow her cover by using magic.

Once in the production room, she easily sees that the factory is still producing. Kyra passes a hand over her Matter Manipulator, drawing more improvised explosives out of her inventory. As she moves deeper into the staging area in search of a console to extract technical information on the MP Cell, she places devices at various points along the assembly line, but does not activate them-that she can do remotely via her phone much, much later when she was well enough out of dodge and able to use her own MP. She takes some care to hide them so they won't immediately be discovered. The devices are a mix of fast-oxidizing chemicals and straight explosives. Some will rapidly rust and corrode metal while others just flat-out explode.
Dominic Masoch     If Tuxedo Hero were a Fencer, he'd know just how he'd react. He'd immediately dart in close to the guard, putting his hand under the can and turning it backwards at the last second as he tries to distract the guard by doing something else like, say, grabbing one of his jowls on his face and giving giving it a jiggle and a tweak before stepping backwards a few times.

If it went according to plan, the distracted guard will be about to spray himself clean in the face with the aerosol as Tuxedo Hero pretends like he's afraid of getting hit, "Sir, there is no need for force here! You can handle this reasonable and we can debate our political views like adults."
Lyria Mason With Rabit taking over her portion of the mission, given thier driver needs to deal with something actually worse than a Malboro, which is bsically a Malboro that sapient and knows the woners of breath mints. Something has to be done here. The blade that Lyira is carrying is drawn as she moves in. She doesn't go for her pistol no. She's got another idea and goes for a grenade. She can't use her normal sonic ones, but she does have other options.

She's makes her moves to toss the grenade for Biteblde which would explode in a super powerful and sticky sort of glue, air will pass through it, though should it catch someone's face. She then draws her off handed pistol and fires a few pot shots at those Flotilla Core perosonel she can see.

She doesn't say a damn thing at them either.
Kay     Huh. That's... creepy. Kay will then do the most practical thing ever in a Final Fantasy setting, and decide it must be important. So she grabs one of the Malboro tentacles and slings it over her shoulder. "This is weird," she mutters... but she has other things to do, in the sense of hurrying to back up Juno. That sounds like trouble, the Flotilla and all.

On the downside, Kay doesn't know much about the Flotilla. On the upside? They don't know HER either, which gives her a little flexibility. She actually doesn't rush off to intercept Juno right away, but instead ducks behind some crates and tosses the tentacle onto the ground. Summoning up her magic, she begins to call for aid.

She's going to summon two demons, if she can... to try to even the odds. Let's see what sort of demon having a Malboro tendril as a catalyst will call!
Chica Mendez     Chica ends up causing a mess of her own as she goes digging through packages and lockers and such, until she finds a completed sample of what she was looking for did she stop to take a look. Magitech... something that absolutely didn't exist in her world. Not yet, anyway. That might change once she's gotten the chance. And it's not even that big. She manages to jam at least three into a bulging pocket under her jacket before company shows up.

The shadowrunner whrils around when she hears the sound of that beast, and under her mask her eyes go wide. Goddamn, that's a really swol giant cat. It takes Fuki speaking up for her to look around in confusion before she actually notices the tiny little thing set upon the beast's head. It'd be comical, if it weren't such a fucking hassle.

La Llorona still doesn't seem to have armed herself yet, and she holds her hands slightly up and out to her sides. Electricty might be a no-go, but that's okay. That's fine. "Free market shit, man," is what she decides to say with a small shrug, then dives a hand into her coat to draw her heavy pistol and start running for cover.

The bullets inside are just regular ones for now, but it's still a pretty big caliber, made for taking out street samurai and orcs, and she's trying to send each bullet careening towards that ugly thing's ugly skull. Bonus points if she clips a tentacle whisker.
Juno Eclipse   Juno tries to watch all of the Core Fleet members after her as Biteblade goes down, and mentally she issues an apology for that. Biteblade had treated her alright, as had Seft. Although... really, considering how close the Flotilla and the Murasame Zaibatsu seem to be, well, she's not sure how far she can trust. Obviously they're on the Murasame payroll, or they wouldn't be here. Part of her isn't terribly surprised about that. Murasame has a lot of weight, and finances, to throw around.

Juno Eclipse sets her teeth, working her jaw in silent frustration. That makes things more difficult. Not wholly unexpected, but more difficult. Some small part of her had still clung to optimism, but she can see that's misplaced now.

Juno curses softly under her breath, steadily; a litany of frustration and fear. She's no ground commando; no stormtrooper, and certainly no ex-Sith operative like Galen is. Now there's an angry fish-man coming after her with a power katana that looks remarkably like a lightsaber. Come to think of it, he'd probably fit in well with the Jedi and their mumbo-jumbo about the Force, wouldn't he?

...No time for that. Juno flattens herself against the wall, already strafing sideways as she squeezes off as many shots as she can safely fire. The blaster is already getting uncomfortably hot in her hand, pushed to its limit; although Seft and George are also immediate threats, Moonfin is the one more likely to do serious damage to her.

The ship is so close. She throws longing look to where she knows the ship is parked. A little time. Just a little time is all she needs.

One, two, three more shots. Juno abandons her offensive and turns on her heel, sprinting for all she's worth.

Fear and adrenaline can lend startling speed. If she can get to the ship, she can fend them off, maybe. Out here, though, boots on the ground -- they'll tear her apart and she knows it. One hand reaches up to yank her hat firmly over her head, and then the rest of her effort goes into running as fast as she possibly can. Her pulse pounds in her ears and her chest hurts, vaguely; leg muscles scream at this unacceptable overexertion, but she doesn't care. Breathing is more important.
Sakura Haruno     Flowers will look up from where she's just defeated some of the guards juuust as Xiao is swinging in. This is a little bit late to do anything like completely avoid the attack; instead, she's left to try and block, bare arms managing to absorb the blow. That's the good news for her - she's completely prepared for the physical part of this attack.

The bad news is that it's mostly magic, and the sort of magic she's not really ready to deal with, frost crystals spreading over her forearm and other exposed skin.

She'll hiss and try to slide backwards, away from Xiao, playing for distance to both set up and start fighting off the ice crystals. She's being forced to drop any hope of holding back, though, chakra starting to slide down into the ground below from her feet. "Give me all your money, and I might let you live." She'll threaten, but there's not really any heart to it; it's pretty obviously just something she's saying to say. The chakra is the trap; if Xiao tries to close the distance once more, she's going to find it errupting up into spikes below her, probably not in any way her feet will appreciate.
Audrey Stormfist     ---BERSERKER & SANARY:
Sanary reaches the roof with a group of engineers, who frantically look around for the issue. They suspect sabotage, and quickly enough their equipment leads them to the exposed wires and the subtle, whistling girl.

"Wh-- what is someone doing up here?" one of them asks.
"She's probably one of the intruders!"
"That doesn't make sense, she's alone and doesn't have any equipment on her. And she looks so nonchalant. She couldn't have messed with the wiring, come on. Miss, step aside, we need to do our jobs."

... and they get to work.
She might just be someone on lunch break, really.

Hopefully Sanary is brighter than they are.
Audrey Stormfist     --ALL:
The factory plate is now tilted ten degrees to the right. This makes standing just a little bit awkward, and is causing assorted crates, cargo, machines and otherwise to start sliding or falling. Magnetic locks eventually kick in, but not for everything.
Starbound Flotilla     Biteblade stays down. The grenade explodes onto her, preventing her from returning to the fight for yet another round or so! Albert, unfortunately, is not similarly impeded. He lets out a series of gutteral monkey noises, tanking the armor damage to his heavy frame while drawing -- jesus -- a heavy CONCUSSION GRENADE launcher! He intends to fire it... And if Lyria takes cover behind crates, it'll SLAM them into her regardless! He intends to punish her for those shots!

Seft's heavy armor similarly tanks the shots, though George can't; firing at him forces him into cover! Pavo... Pavo, of course, is DESCENDING FROM THE SKY! With her cutlass drawn, she's intending to impale Lyria from above!

None of them have yet noticed Kay. She's going to have the drop on them. Any of the Starbounders can be easily taken out.
Xiao Li Yu      Sakura's 'demand' got a pause and an inredulous look out of the scientist. "All of my money? Really? You came here to a factory to rob it for /money/?" So unimpressed she was, that her head tilted a tad. "...You're either incredibly stupid, or...you're a distraction."

Another sigh. "...Well, we should have enough heads covering all sectors, so..." With a shrug, Xiao stepped forward, fist clenched. The shimmerin blue aura surrounding her persisted, and she broke forward into another dash...

Only to find spikes bursting up from below. "...!" Immediately, to avoid grievous injury, she tucked forward into a flip as the spikes grazed past her midsection, tearing her dress and stockings and drawing blood. "Kuh-!" Annoying.

Not about to give up the momentum, she completed her flip, converting into an axe kick aimed to the top of Sakura's head. Like the last blow, this one would also cause a burst of ice crystals on the body if impact was made. "So perhaps you're not as stupid as my first impressions led me to believe!"
Berserker Oh a bunch of electricians! They could... fix things. Hm. Well, people are complaining about the tilt, but nobody said she should let them fix it. That probably means... not.

Two talismans flick out. "Hurry then! Good luck!" Unless Sanary tackles her or something, Berserker will fling the curses at the electricians. She isn't really trying her best though, and Sanary could interrupt her if she realizes that maybe it's not a good idea to let her do anything.
Fuki     The tilting of the plate manages to give Keesha just the edge she needs to get out of the way of that bullet from something major being hit, the ear being clipped with a small splash of blood. This, however, causes Fuki's face to frown under that mask. "Keesha. Eviscerate the rat. Thundara." Fuki floats up as black feathered wings extend from her back and a small thruster making some noise and it's not long after that that Fuki shoots off towards the Shadowrunner!

Just in time though as Keesha's whiskers shoot forward, a rapid line of thunderbolts being fired off from Keesha's whiskers towards the Shadowrunner, hoping to electrocute her, would make the Shinki's job a lot easier... and Maintenance's job even easier.. a lot less blood to clean. "Keesha, Fira. Follow it up with Blizzara."

Oh how she'll get to use those with this new product... but now isn't the time to think of that, now is the time to get close and scythe that arm while Keesha starts rushing in, whiskers glowing a hot red in preperation for the next spell. "Here we go!"
Sanary Rondel      Could this lady be one of the intruders? Sanary doesn't recognize Berserker, but.. Well, it's not like she knows ALL of the workers there. The others seem to give her a pass, at least, but being the good security officer that she is...

"Hold up. You need to stay here, too. There's..." She grits her teeth slightly as she listens to something over the comms, taking a more defensive position towards her three charges here. "... Terrorists now? Shit.. Yeah, stay with us. I'll get you all back to-" The cleric pauses when she spots those talismans, only then realizing that just maybe Berserker isn't what she seems to be.

"... Wait. Who are you?" There's a brief flicker in Sanary's eye as she glances from Berserker to the talismans, her grip on the shield tightening just a little more. Is she one of those rare security guards that /doesn't/ react to a little littering with guns blazing?
Souji Murasame There is a momentary scuffle as the guard's face is tweaked. His face flushes beet red as he growls, pulling his hands back and forth to try to keep the deft fingers of the Tuxedo Hero from further embarassing him. "Get... Get away from me!" He yells, and pushes the button on the can...

But just before that happens, the plate lurches, the shock causing him to stumble and the spray going wide, catching his cheek instead of his entire face. With a howl, he claps a hand on it nevertheless, the spray apparently feeling like he got blasted with capascin.

"SWEET DIVINES, The foundation's tilted!" Guard A yells while B jumps around, more concerned with his jowl. "You, you're sticking around now. We have some questions." There is a snap as a crackling taser stick extends in his hand and he reaches out for TUXEDO HERO'S SOULDER. "We insist."
Starbound Flotilla     "Second Sea Hylotl Style: Icebreaker Defies Arctic Seas." Moonfin says, confirming that it is, in fact, the dramatic fishman. Lyria got Seft and George off of Juno's flanks, but he's still close to her and she's still not on that craft yet! Thank god that its stealth systems mean they can't see it, but if he closes too much more, she'll have to keep it stealthed even while climbing aboard, or something outrageous like that! But unless she does something tremendously clever, he might catch her just at the ramp's base... The shots slam into his katana, and the muscular strain of deflecting them makes him grunt in pain, but the quick burst of shots does slow him down. Of course, she doesn't need to beat him, all Juno needs to do is slow him down just a bit, or force him out of the Rogue Shadow before -- or maybe even WHILE -- it takes off!
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason voice ia warped when she speaks calling out as Albert opens fire on her, she moves quickly tryin to avoid the attacks coming at her there's zome very bif blads coming down on them and now Pavo is coming. He voice is warped but she speaks,

"The plate system has been damaged."

Lyria's caught in a fire fight now so ther's little she cna do about that. The Levtian does show why she ended up getting into the school she did even if her family is not noblity and is /new money/.

Pavo comes in from the back, she's force to back off but Lyria's sword is out an she uses ot to parry the incoming strike as hse moves away.

She's not taking anymore she's got her pistol on her off hand, and her blade is ready. This is going to be a hell of a fight and she /can't/ use her geomancy or it will give her away.

<<Blackout hurry I won't be able to fend them off for too long.>>
Kay     Whelp. Kay's magic blasts through the crude circle, and summons two writhing, tentacled monstrosities. "Huh... I guess I shouldn't be surprised." She shakes her head, then looks over her shoulder to see... the Flotilla is attacking Juno and Lyria after all! She doesn't have much time! "You two! Stop that one!" She sends the demons leaping toward Albert with the launcher. As for her, she can't deal with ALL of them, letting her demons handle the big guy. She'd better do something about Pavo, though.

Kay isn't all that great, but she does have that pistol. She starts to open fire at Pavo as well, quick shots while moving around toward the armored Flotilla member. It's mostly backup for Lyria... her demons might stand a challenge, but Kay herself is little more than a distraction right now, albeit one with a gun.
Sakura Haruno     Sakura's quick enough to avoid a blow straight to the head, instead taking it on the shoulder. This isn't that much of an improvement, driving the ninja down into the ground, with the ice magic continuing to push into her. Her breath will be visible as it comes out, even, in a ragged, strained way.

Her counterstrike is quick and fierce, though, aiming for the researcher's knee with the flat of her palm, trying to do maximum damage and pain without any risk of permanently injuring the woman. They weren't really here to kill people, from what she remembered of the briefing.

"Lay down and I won't hurt you." 'Lily' will state, but she's rasping, the frost almost burning at her where the crystals are touching bare skin. She's also ignoring that she may have just hurt her sudden opponent.
Audrey Stormfist     --KYRA:
Explosives are planted along the assembly lines. There's not really anyone here to stop Kyra, so she finds little resistance except in the occasional crate or random tool vaguely sliding in her direction from the plate tilt.

Reinforcements have started arriving, though. Breaking in through windows, armored KIRIN troopers-- essentially, elite military gear, reinforced, and with top of the line rifles-- swing in using Gravity-1 and Float modules to soften their landings. Three of them are in the same (actually extremely large) room as Kyra, while others are elsewhere, no doubt securing the offices and such.

Kyra can choose here whether she wants to try continue further-- maybe find a dabatase room, or the director's office, or even where the machines are being controlled from, which assumedly is where one would have, if not the exact battery specs, their assembly methods, at the very least. But doing so would mean having to deal with the guards, and moving quickly before more show up.

Or she can leave and be content she just planted explosives that'll give them a huge, escape-covering distraction. And set back production for a few days.
Juno Eclipse   There's no mistaking Hylotl showmanship, but the pilot had already suspected as much. Juno doesn't even stop to look back any more, charging toward the ship like her life depends on it -- as far as she's concerned, it does. The burning sensation in her lungs is starting to get quite painful, and by the time she feels deck plating ringing underfoot, she's too short of breath to sob in relief.

Instead, she lunges, throwing herself forward and curling around to face backward. As she falls, she rips her second blaster from its holster, using both to shoot at the joints and vulnerable spots in Moonfin's armour -- as before, not to kill, but to disable. Both blasters are almost glowing in their near overuse, and she eventually drops one of them, tossing it aside and away from Moonfin.

If the shots aren't enough, she reaches into a pocket and withdraws the Materia orb that Galen had given her. Lightning, by the look of it. She jams the thing straight down into the metal deck, baring her teeth and activating the Materia with an effort of will.

It's hardly a lightning storm, but it's still unpleasant for her and, if she's lucky, unpleasant for Moonfin in the embrace of his sophisticated, highly technical armour. If she's lucky and if there's any deity out there looking after her, it'll be enough to stumble him. Or at least surprise him. By the time she jerks her hand back up from the railing, it's jerking and twitching too badly to fire.

In other words... a last-ditch effort of sheer desperation. She'll have to leave the rest to her allies...
Audrey Stormfist     --BERSERKER & SANARY:
Of the four engineers, two are suddenly blinded-- they know better than to move around, especially with the plate tilted. The other two are wearing GOGGLES and have resistance to the blind status effect, causing them to-- withdraw behind Sanary, now all too aware they just got attacked.

"Nevermind, you were right, she's with them!"
"Get rid of her, if we don't fix this the plate will--" He looks to the side. "-- not crash exactly, more like very gently veer into that building, but it's going to cost a fortune!" It might kill some people, but at least you're not looking at a catastrophic crash. All Berserker did was mess with the power a bit. It'd be worse if she shut it all down wholesale or absorbed as much MP as she could.
Starbound Flotilla Some radio chatter might be picked up.

"I will pursue the intruder. They cannot escape my grasp."
"Alert. Under fire."
"Under fire!"
"Avast! Comin' in from above!"
"Floran almossst done, pulling outta goopy sticky!"
"Shit, taking too much fire, Pavo, stop her!!"
"Aye aye!"
"Covering!"
"Alert. Albert, watch out! Incoming on flanks!"
"Biteblade, dinnertime! None of us can take something that heavy!"
"Yaaaaay! RRRRRAAAAAGH!! GONNA SSSSTAB!!"
Berserker "Ahhh," Berserker sighs to Sanary. "I'm afraid I can't tell you my name! Sorry~ I really loathe lying, so I'll just not say anything." She wags a finger and smiles, then offers another apologetic smile. "I probably shouldn't have done that, though," she admits.

Then she brightens. "Well! I have no idea how to fix it, so if you could find a way to keep the plate from crashing down into the building, I think almost everyone would be happier! Since I don't really care, I'm going to just go over this way and see if there's something else to do." Well, the men aren't being attacked now! This seems like a good time for Berserker to just... walk towards the elevator. Maybe if she doesn't make any sudden moves, the Sanary won't think her a threat. They're attracted to motion, right?

More importantly she thinks having a fight right now might not be the best idea.
Kyra Hyral     The moment Kyra hears that glass breaking, she's sent scurrying for somewhere dark. She knows exactly what KIRIN looks like and, given their armor, she's not confident that her chemicals will have much effect against them. It would be good to retreat now but without having brought back any of that vaunted IP they were out to get, it seemed like a waist.

Kyra quickly consults her map, locating the first exit that she hasn't been through, since that would be a likely candidate for moving forward in the facility to another room. Once she has that set, she pulls a spherical device out of her matter manipulator and rolls it across the ground where those troopers are gathering. The sphere twists, clicks, then starts emitting copious amounts of smoke. It's not normal smoke either, but a cloudy kind of sleeping gas. Kyra's protected from it-it's also likely given KIRIN's GOLEM armor loadout that their suits are filtered too. Even so, it was worth a shot and hopefully provides that much-needed diversion for Kyra to rush past KIRIN.
Chica Mendez      As she was firing, the shadowrunner had managed to find cover behind a few crates. It may not be particularly fantastic, but at least it was something. She hops over the cover and immediately presses her back against them. Oddly, the giant cat doesn't move... Of course, Chica would have to be blind to not see what it was planning to do instead.

Who the hell is that little wind-up toy calling a rat, anyway?

As the line of thunderbolts tracks towards her, Chica waits until the last moment to burst from cover and run to the side, trying to go back to the door she'd entered through. That's about the time that Fuki's sharp little blade comes a-swinging! It manages to draw blood and a snarl from the shadowrunner, but her coat is actually a lot more well-armored than it might look on the surface. "LIttle bitch," she grunts, and tries swatting the tiny thing back towards her cat.

Because as the coeurl begins to ready it's magic, Chica does too. It sounds vaguely not-Spanish and doesn't translate very well. Even if she doesn't manage to get Fuki in the line of fire, the elf's hands move forward--and summon a spray of highly acidic and corrosive fluid at the thing, the kind of shit that made metals hiss and bubble.
Xiao Li Yu      Landing from the kick, Xiao wasn't prepared for the strike to the knee...or the tilting of the ENTIRE PLATE right about then. "Eh- Whoa!" She stumbled aside a bit, the blow grazing her knee, and drawing a hiss of pain.

"Lay down and I won't be hurt, hm?" She smirked at Sakura, eyes narrowing a tad. "A bit late for that, aren't we?" Finally deciding to stop holding back, she raised her other arm, another black gauntlet phasing into existence.

"I'm afraid that I have a job to do here. And that job is makiing sure you terrorists do as little damage as possible." With that, she slammed her fists together and muttered another spell. "Thundaga." Her aura changed from a rolling blue, to a crackling purple, as electricity flared up all around her.

With one of her legs mildly hurt, she couldn't go doing any fancy moves, so she decided to do something simple. Kneeling down to the ground, Xiao pressed one gauntlet flat down, and a surge of lightning channeled forth, rapidly traveling across the ground in arcs, chasing after Sakura for the sole purpose of electrocution!

"So be a dear and go the other way!"
Dominic Masoch     "Ah! I would, but you see my friend!" Dominic steps back and grabs ahold of the cane he was holding in his off hand. He tosses the pamphlets up and then draws a sword out of the cane! There's a swirl of Magical Particles as he draws up a Fencing move.

    >Shadowstick

He thrusts the tip of the blade at the ground, trying to catch the guard right on the shadow and make walking towards him a huge hassle. He doesn't want to get hit by that tazing baton, after all. Dominic will then try to basically run off and leave the guard there to flee when his status effect fades, unless otherwise stopped by something.
Starbound Flotilla     Lyria doesn't have to deal with Albert anymore, due to various reasons. Seft is also occupied, it seems, leaving only Pavo and George to face her! George draws a heavy shotgun and makes a run for a short-range firing position, while Pavo rushes in for heavy slicing!

"What, a plate problem? Sorry, I'm not hungry!" George says, with a faux-friendly, faux-idiotic tone. He knows what's going on. The tilt of the plate is something he's having to brace against... And in fact, he's approaching from cover that's sliding along the ground! Pavo is trying to exploint that as well! She rushes in with several swings, leaping over her repeatedly and darting around with expert leaping speed!! Rapid slices and slashes are meant less to damage themselves and more to force Lyria to maneuver accidentally into being crushed between crates that are now sliding around!
Sanary Rondel      "Wha..? Wait, hold up!" Sanary orders (as if she's really expecting Berserker to comply), but she's got those two engineers to help first! Not that she really know what it is that Berserker did, but if they're not writhing in pain, then... Something halting their speech, perhaps? Or a delayed poison? Either way, she's not taking any chances, and she channels some energy into her eye to hit them both with a nice refreshing blast of ESUNA matrix.

And then it's time for her to approach Berserker rapidly. "I said HOLD UP!" The cleric reaches for Berserker to try and grab her arm, although she's still conscious of the technicians and doesn't seem to be willing to start a fight up here yet. "You're not going anywhere to do anything. You're coming with me to get this sorted out, understand?" She might not have her other hand free to grab her sword, but the shield's still nice and big to threaten with! Sort of.
Starbound Flotilla "Seft! Cover Pavo, now!!"
"Resentful. That is the worst order you have ever given me."
"Pleassse! Need to focusss on hunt monssster!"

Seft has, unfortunately for her, interposed herself between Pavo and the gunfire that Kay attempted. Further unfortunately, her thick, heavy medieval armor has taken a hell of a beating from two volleys, but she's still moving. "Warning. I do not wish to take lethal action, but if you continue this violent trespass, I will be forced to. This is the only warning you will receive." And since there's no way in any hells that this warning would be heeded, Seft is charging through the shots, systems battered and dented under some slagged armor, trying to hit Kay with a heavy overhead swing of her POWER BATTLEAXE!

Albert goes down. Two tentacle horrormonsters facing one Apex with only a POWER HAMMER as a melee weapon is no match; Kay successfully prevents him from giving any kind of backup against Lyria, and in fact takes him out of the fight for a round, so to speak. When they knock him on his ass and crunch a bone or two brutally, that's when BITEBLADE comes in. Already healing up the nonlethal wound on their chest, they come in SCREAMING! With a pair of daggers in their hands, they try to turn into a FLORAN BLENDER!! Getting between both animals and using their expert hunting skills, they try to deal out a set of stabbings! And in the meantime... They try to take a few BITES OF FLESH! This is a key focus for them, it seems...
Fuki     "Little, is right." she chides, smirking behind that mask "My my, how vulgar. Didn't your family teach you not to call your superior rude names? Tsk... such disrespect. Perhaps it's time to show you why I am feared." of course, Chica probably doesn't know this but hey, time to grandstand just slightly, ducking just under the swat. This let's Fuki dive in once more and... when some sort of fluid is flung from those hands at her, she quickly tries to make a few corrections, only to get most of it on her leg and mask.. the mask eroding away, showing the girl's tiny face and silver, short hair.

"How rude..." she comments, internally, she's screaming over the Murasame radio, stupid acid throwers, stupid magic users... she'll show them... It's there that Keesha's Fira goes off and sends a medium sized fireball streaking towards Fuki's location, and thanks to a bit of learning (Read: Getting hit by this same spell multiple times...), she ducks out of the way to try and let it hit Chica, those whiskers now glowing that soft blue... Blizzara was up next.

"OH, I hope you don't mind... my cat's hungry... and you look like JUST the meal ticket for her!"
Sakura Haruno     Sakura seems unbothered by the plate tilting beneath her, not even stumbling. Mostly because of the chakra feed between her and the ground at all times. This isn't going to help her very much with the thunder spell, though, because for her own world earth is weak to lightning.

She'll take the full blast, trying to just heal herself through it, keeping on her feet through it but starting to twitch a bit - that may have caused some nerve damage. In any case, though, her foot will lash out, another spike kicking up from the ground at Xiao, this one quite large. It's strictly an attempt to ward her off to buy Sakura some time, though if Xiao is too aggressive it may make her regret it.

"I think we're about done." She'll state, starting to look for a way to retreat. The distraction was done, and anything further was going to completely blow her cover if she wasn't just going to get crushed. She's trembling, as well, from the aftereffects of both cold and lightning.
Audrey Stormfist     ---KYRA:
Thankfully, with this being a large room full of noisy, large machines, hiding isn't very difficult. She just has to keep track of where the troopers have landed and stay out of their line of sights. Their helmets have Scan matrices in them, but as long as Kyra is careful...

Or she could just chuck a smoke grenade at them.

The moment it explodes, the three men are on their toes. She's right, their masks keep them from breathing the gas in. A sleep spell might work, but sleep gas won't. It's still smoke, though, and gives Kyra cover to run ahead into the closest open hallway. She can hear the heavy footsteps of the guards behind her, but she's got a few seconds of lead.

QUICK THINKING is about to be required. There's a hallway going left, a staircase going up next to an elevator that requires a keycard ahead, and a staircase going down to the right, with a large cargo elevator to its side that requires no authorization to use.
Starbound Flotilla     Moonfin's still desperate to block those shots, and for good reason. One tears through the knee joint of his armor when he fails a deflection! With a cry of pain, he falls to one knee... Just at the ramp! Which works, quite well, with what Juno does next. The kneeling Hylotl is trying to recover and advance, pushing himself up using his sword, grunting through the intense pain...

And then there goes that MATERIA! It hits the deck and slams through his body, especially over that overconducting kneeling spot. She's got him stunned! He won't be able to keep his stance! A solid HEAVY FORCE would eject this melee juggernaut from the ship, leaving the Rogue Shadow to roam the skies... For however long they may be safe.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason says nothing more, it doesn't shock her the hired help doesn't seem to care. She'll just focus on the fighting the pair that she's got to deal with. She does however move to oppen fire on him before Pavo moves in to attack. She moves backing off, Lyria's quick though she seems eying the crates as Pavo strikes it looks like it's going to work till the suited woman leaps up into the air and lands on the falling crate, given her heritage and a life at sea? She can deal with the deck going a bit more crazy than you might expect it to do so.

She then drops another glue grenade, trying to start moving from box to falling box, this should make things a bit more interesting as this thing is getting quite like a duel in some pirate movie!
Souji Murasame The drawing of the blade causes Guard A to suddenly stop. "He's got a sword!" He yells.

Buard B yells up from where he's writhing on the ground. "YOU IDIOT, WE HAVE GUNS!"

There's a pause as Guard A looks at the rifle at his side a little awkwardly, and reaches for it... But it's too late. There is a poke as TUXEDO HERO neatly stabs his shadow, anchoring it to the ground and allowing him to dance away. The guard tries to run after him, of course, but the stuck shadow causes him to jolt, unable to move from that spot. "YOU! STOP!" He yells, leveling the gun and firing, a couple sprays of bright red spikes whizzing past Dominic. Looks like it's Fire ammo today.

Guard B, meanwhile, is still rolling around, unable to do anything but grab some of those pamphlets, trying to use them to wipe the noxious spray off of his fat face. Looks like Domi- I MEAN, TUXEDO HERO, is home free.
Xiao Li Yu      She was prepared to let loose another blast of lightning, but was instead waylaid by a spire of earth jutting up after her. Instead of attacking, she dove back, the tip barely missing her and instead, grazing her cheek. "Tch-" Landing back, and then wobbling slightly on her injured leg, she watched Sakura carefully. Aura of lightning still crackling around her.

"I believe we are." She smirked, surmising that another party in the factory must have gotten what they were looking for. A shame, but it couldn't be helped. Once everything is said and done, Xiao...doesn't give chase. She just shrugged her shoulders.

"I'm not interested in killing you. So go. Get out of here. I'll give you a free pass~ Bye~" And with a smile, she gave Sakura a cute little wave, shooing her off. ...There was a saying to be had about cornered mice and all that.

     She wouldn't tempt fate.
Berserker Sanary's hand grasps Berserker's wrist just fine, despite Berserker's speed. She peers down, startled, then smiles wanly. "I'm sorry, I really need to get going. You're just doing your job, I'm sure, but I have mine."

She's not human. The sudden surge of strength there in yanking herself back, hopefully to pull herself away and then leap off the rooftop, dematerializing in midair if she can do it out of sight. "Another time, perhaps!"
Juno Eclipse   "P-PROXY!" Juno leans back and shouts toward the fore of the ship, where the corridor leads from the cockpit. "Hurry up and g-give m-me a hand, here!"

It's not immediately clear who she's talking to, at least until something comes charging from the darkened interior of the ship. Like a brass and chrome hurricane, the droid PROXY comes charging from the cockpit, running shockingly well for a completely artificial being.

His intent is pretty clear, because he hasn't so much as slowed down. PROXY, it seems, is attempting to shoulder-check the stunned Moonfin right the hell off the ship.
Kyra Hyral     The smoke bomb seemed to backfire a little on her, those troopers seemed even more agitated now than before. Still, Kyra rushes for the door and into the next room. She doesn't get the chance to spend a lot of time evaulating her options and elects for 'option not protected by a keycard' because she has no keycards. This means she goes for the staircase that goes down next to the cargo elevator.
Starbound Flotilla     Lyria manages to disable Pavo! The glue grenade is a strong thing here, looks like, it can take any Starbounder out for a round! That quick leap, Pavo wasn't expecting Lyria to have that sort of sea-legs! "Arrrrgh! Ye dog! Me crew will get ye for this!" She calls out... And tosses her sword with a glue-free arm! Leaping through the air with a deft jump, George catches it and jumps onto one of those crates!

"I think this is an extreme sport somewhere!" He says, still pretending to be oblivious, letting his cargo crate slide heavily and SLAM into Lyria's! He rushes in right when the impact unsettles their footing, trying to use his zero-gravity no-footing experience to get a quick jump on this, dueling! He's not the best at cutlass swashbuckling, but he's got a fair bit of skill and talent...!
Kay     The Malboro-demons fortunately don't share all of those horrible status effects. Kay can use catalysts from other worlds for a boost, but the demons still come from hers, and at most all she's going to get from a quick summoning like that is going to be some toxic flesh and maybe a bite. Whether or not it's toxic to a Floran is a different matter, though! Given they're used to eating awful things. It certainly tastes bad, though. The demons flail, as they're strong enough to team up on one but are too weak to handle two, resulting in some pretty messy splattering of blood-sap from the strange creatures.

Meanwhile Kay is getting out of here. She was shooting to wound, not to kill, but when it's blocked... well. "Uh oh..." She's not ready to handle the poweraxe, and backpedals at REALLY high speed. She's just not fast enough though, and has to hurl herself up and over in a clumsy arc to get away, tumbling toward a retreat when she hears that everyone else is. Unfortunately for her, she leaves behind half her arm as the poweraxe cleaves down through it just below the elbow, making it impossible to reload her pistol anyway.
Starbound Flotilla     Proxy slams into Moonfin like... Well, like several hundred pounds of heavy machinery. The electrocuted, stunned samurai can't hold on, and Proxy has a TON of power, outmatching Juno a fair bit. This means he's utterly caught off-guard; the shoulder-check produces a sound of crumpling durasteel and crunching bones. Moonfin is knocked back with such gratuitous force that he slams heavily into the side of a cargo crate, denting its side and embedding him in it partially. His heavy breathing and the holographic red crosses showing up on his armor show that it's trying to get him back in fighting condition... Juno has some time, but not a whole ton!
Chica Mendez     There's a lot that Chica would've said if she had been doing this shit barefaced. You have no idea how many sarcastic remarks and rebuttals she held back because she didn't want her mouth getting her tracked. Doubly important in the Multiverse, with the moderated band and all. So the elf has to just grit her teeth and hold it all back while she just tries to get the hell out of this place.

Fuki gets caught in the gunk, but the couerl doesn't, and the fireball comes flying regardless as Fuki zips away. Chica's got a second or two to try to jump to the side, but it explodes anyway, throwing her back and slamming her back against the wall... A few feet away from the door she'd been going for. Hey, what do you know?

She stays still for a second, as if she'd been knocked senseless; her hidden hand had begun to glow white. She keeps channeling, pulling mana until the sweet sensation began to burn...

Suddenly, though, the mana starts pulling itself out of her control, frying the elf's senses. She starts to scream, but pushes her hand towards the coeurl... It doesn't quite go over there. But that's okay, because it's an AoE spell, y'know. An overcasted Manaball.

The ball of pure mana explodes, but it doesn't cause any damage to the walls or floor. Oh no. Instead, it targets living tissue and begins to force it to decay, like being microwaved or suffering from necrotizing faciitis. It may not do anything to Fuki, but it might do a hell of a number on the cat.

Meanwhile, Chica is weakly forcing herself to stumble over to the door and push it open, groaning and holding her head, stumbling and tripping as she tried to make it outside of this damn place.
Audrey Stormfist     ---KYRA:
Kyra goes down the staircase. This lands her in a single, massive, open room, filled with crates. Most of it looks like raw materials; ore, metals, circuit boards, chips. Tools. Paper, pencils. Everything in industrial quantities. Next to her she can see the cargo lift-- or, well, the shaft where it would be, if it wasn't upstairs right now.

    Kyra's found herself in storage!
It was probably kind of obvious in retrospect, but it might work out for her. If she studied the documentary on Zaibatsu production, she'd remember some of the maintenance shafts that pass through the bottom layers of the plate have access points in the basement, AKA here. And if the plate has lost altitude and is tilted, it might be close enough for her to jump down and Float herself to safety.

Oddly, it's here in storage, not upstairs, that Kyra will find much, much larger mana batteries. There's only a handful, and they aren't branded with a model number or anything indicating they're going to be sold.

But other than that, this this isn't a very interesting area for her.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason has managed to put Pavo out of things long enough to only give her one person to handle in an upfront fiht. Even as George comments about this being an sport, she could see that. She really could, it gives her some ideas as well.

She's however forced to fight the old man who may be one of the most dangerous people in the flotilla. She's now righitng but she's moving to get herself out. She'll start being less vicous, why? Because she's going to attempt ot break off leap from the boxes and run like hell for Blackout's ship it's time to get out of here. She's however exposed when she does this, but she has little choice.
Sanary Rondel      "A job...? So you're job's to try and kill people ,then?!" Sanary's finally lost her temper. Although she tightens her hold on Berserker's wrist, her own strength isn't enough to maintain a hold when the Servant yanks her arm away. She chases after Berserker towards the edge of the roof, channelling more magical energy into her eye before firing off a red laser from the Fire matrix in her eye after Berserker leaps off the roof. Although her aim probably isn't going to give her a direct hit, the laser does explode suddenly even if it goes past the Servant! Remotely detonated, perhaps?

Afterwards, she turns back to the technicians and barks some more orders to them before hurrying back to the elevator. "Keep working on fixing the power! Dammit... And call me if anything else goes wrong up here!"

Sanary's pissed. So very pissed. At least the elevator music is calming... Maybe. Hopefully, she'll be in a better mood once she figures out where to go next.
Starbound Flotilla     Biteblade suffers some TOX DAMAGE! But being able to metabolize a bit of meat is worth it! Her eyes shine with bright green light, and she roars with victory! Despite looking a little green around the gills, nausea-wise. It's clear to the Flotilla that they won't be capturing or containing this incident, so they're content with chasing off the group! With that in mind, Seft -- who seems to hesitate, almost in regret, at having DISMEMBERED her target so quickly! -- presses the advance. Giving out a heavy ROAR, she draws her heavy DURASTEEL BOW, loosing a stream of bolts after Kay! The nausea, though, in the one ranged-enabled Starbounder, means that her shots are going pretty wide! All the more reason to get the hell out of dodge before she lines up a clear shot...
Kyra Hyral     The contents in the room at the bottom of the stairs was largely expected. Unfortunately, it's also not the place for her to find the information she wants either-though those really /large/ mana batteries look really interesting.

She tries to stuff one of those into her Matter Manipulator.

Given the radio chatter and what she remembered about the map and maintenance shafts, she didn't think she'd be able to sneak back up there and make it to the ship. Not with KIRIN now crawling around. But if she went through the shafts, deactivated her Silencer, she /could/ float down to safety. That is if the plate tipped enough.

Moving about in the storage area, Kyra locates one of those shafts and stands near it. Reaching into a sleek pouch, she pulls out her cell phone, dials back the Silencer, and activates the detonation sequence for her emplaced devices in the production area.
Fuki     The elf gets a scowl and the scythe dissapears in favor of a laser rifle. "I'm done with you... just die now..." she takes aim, more so when the fireball manages to hit its target and at least looks like it knocked her out. "Hmm, strange. I didn't think she'd be that easy to take out. Good job, Keesha. Such a good kitty you are." then the ball of mana shoots out right past Fuki...

And explodes near her Coeurl... and the Shinki's eyes go wide as it starts burning fur and skin. "Keesha!" the Coeurl lets out a loud, pained roar as it bolts off in the complete opposite direction of that ball, trying to save its hide from further nuking, however, this has the one side effect of Fuki turning towards Chica and with one word... one hate filled, spite fueled, 'why did you do that to my cat' voice.

    "Die."

Fuki's rifle charges up and starts spreading out small laser bolts towards Chica, aimed in the general direction, it's rapidly firing bolt after bolt after bolt so much that the barrel is glowing red from the heat. "You could have killed Keesha, something I worked hard to obtain... something I did my best to Lord Golbez for! I am going to end you!"
Audrey Stormfist     Kyra's explosives create quite the distraction. If KIRIN was going to keep pursuing her, they don't now, instead forced to double back and inspect the damage to the machinery after the fact. They'll be hard at work trying to find the source of the explosives and their type, but are likely to reach the conclusion it was all handcrafted and can't be identified. Certainly premeditated, though, especially with how coordinated (ish, let's say) this all was. Oh also they're going to check on Xiao. You know, priorities.

Lucky for Kyra, the plate IS tilted enough for an insane escape plan to work. And the large battery fits into her Matter Manipulator! What she'll find from it is that it's very unstable. Might be a first attempt at mass producing very large batteries that was aborted after a handful. Evidently they're trying to make very large ones and it's taking a bit longer. The plate, meanwhile, is tilted enough, and has lost enough altitude, that another minute or two might very well cost a few lives. Now fortunately, this part of Ramuh is organized to hell and back, but a few casualties can't be avoided if power isn't restored.

Fortunately for nearby buildings, the Flotilla has tractor beams, and should be able to stabilize the plate until the issue is resolved. Which, with Berserker gone, will only take them a minute.
Starbound Flotilla     "Aw, what! I was just getting to the red bit! I mean the good blood! I mean the good bit!" George says, still playing up his idiocy. Unfortunately, he discarded his shotgun, and he can't really keep up with Lyria. "Come on! This is unfair! I'm an old man! I have /old man knees/!" But, luckily, Biteblade is the one who can send a few strray arrows over at her, making sure she STAYS on that retreat.
Berserker Lancing out with a fire spell like that draws a fading shriek from the air! Did she get Berserker? Well, no, Berserker still got away... but as the Servant materializes next, near the ship, she's patting her side and putting out the flames that scorched her. That was unpleasant! She'll have to be more careful next time!
Starbound Flotilla     Albert coughs, getting up and pressing his arms against his wounds. George and Pavo are the only ones who aren't either too busy or wounded too badly to get on their ships and reliably operate their tractor beams. So three shining lights blast into the sky, reaching far up into the low orbit... And then their ships TEAR down from the atmosphere above. Biteblade and Seft consolidate their positions and the dazed Moonfin slowly starts trying to extricate himself from the cargo container...

The Mendacity, the Rapacity, and the Vehemence descend from the sky. A trio of large spacecraft bare their utility modules and shine bright colored light onto the Plate, trying to yank it up. They're too busy and focused to be able to scan for the Rogue Shadow, and Moonfin is too dazed to compose a statement on where they are, but...
Xiao Li Yu      Xiao lets Sakura go, all smiles and sparkles...until an explosion off in production snapped her back to reality. "...." She whirled and looked in that direction. "Are you serious? Did they just...no..." Facepalming, she jumped, anklets glowing as she took flight. "Aiyaaaa...one thing after the other."

Grumbling that, she flew off in the direction of Production, moving to check the damage with the rest of KIRIN. They were going to be busy for a while.

     Damn terrorists.
Sanary Rondel      Sanary's practically chomping at the bit once the elevator door finally opens up, and once it opens up... It's time to search for Keesha and the other wounded! She's not about to take any chances when it comes to that, after all, and she's fairly certain the others can handle the rest of the intruders. Once she comes across the Coeurl or her wounder compatriots, she'll focus her magical energies on closing up their most dire wounds.
Kyra Hyral     Distraction completed, Kyra slips her phone away and hops into the maintenance shaft, wiggling and sliding down, using the tilt of the plate to help her down further. She wiggles along, checking her map every now and then to make sure she's going the right way, until she kicks open the hatch to the open air beneath the tilted plate. Reaching up, Kyra switches off the Silencer completely, giving her access to her magic and enabling her to talk for real now.

"Float." she murmurs, casting the spell on herself before dropping down out of the maintenance hatch, her fall slowed enough that it won't be a fatal 'impact' when she reaches the ground, just a rather rough one.

Once on the ground, Kyra resumes fleeing on foot since the plate /is/ dangerously tilting right now.
Starbound Flotilla "Full power to tractor beams."
"God damn it you dumb monkey, we'll lose any chance figuring--"
"FULL POWER. TO TRACTOR BEAMS."
"Aye, not gonna lose our moneymaker! Get to pullin', ye scurvey dog!"
"Hhhhh... Fine."

The semi-wounded Starbounders put all their ship's power into engines and tractor beams; their ships' power conduits will strain and spark, screens inside will explode dramatically, lots of overloading will happen, but one hopes it'll be enough to pull a plate up...

Moonfin rouses just enough to click a button on the side of his helmet. He has a clear view of the Rogue Shadow and the disguised people loading up. One thing is going to be important. Media spin. The sight of people boarding the shuttle while the Noble Zaibatsu Rescue Force keeps the plate from destroying something major will be useful to Souji and his PR. The contemptuous glare he gives is a palpable aura.
Lyria Mason Lyria Mason is exposed and biteblade gets a very good bead on her eve as she makes the leap to get on to the transport two of the arrows catch her, one in the back and the other right in the butt. She falls to the deck of Junon's ship and crawls the rest of the way in. She's going to be feeling that for a while a whole long while.
Chica Mendez     Oh yeah, that cat is going to have a really bad time for the next few days. The amount of dead tissue caused by that level of a Manaball might just require aggressive debridement. Or just some cellular regeneration! Which, sadly, is a thing in the Multiverse, so someday Chica is probably going to see that cat again.

Moving helps to clear her mind a little bit, even if she's still hurting like a BITCH. And, at least, she's outside and still has her ill-gotten gains stuffed in her coat pocket. Of course, though, the door clangs open again and out comes an angrilly psychotic Fuki. As much as Chica would like to mention that this is the kind of shit that happened when you brought your pet to work, she's kind of hurtin. And getting shot at with laser guns.

Tiny laser rounds crack and snap around her, and a couple smack against her back and make her nearly topple over. "Ghhk--Fuck!" There's not much cover here, so she kind of has to just crawl along--

BOOM! THere went the bombs. Well, that's nice.

Hopefully it'll distract FUki a little. She reaches under her jacket to pull out the SMG she'd been hiding under her coat this entire time, loaded with Stick n Shocks. Fuki's pretty easy to see with the glowing barrel on her gun! So CHica keeps firing the little shock rounds at her as she flees for the Rogue Shadow... hopefully before it takes off and strands her here.
Juno Eclipse   Once all the intruders are dealt with, Juno hauls herself to her feet, using the bulkhead to stagger her way back to the cockpit. By the time she manages to throw herself into the pilot's chair, she's lost most of the shakes, hands immediately flying to the controls as PROXY takes his place in the jump seat behind her.

Fortunately, the ship is still cloaked, so nobody's going to see the shape of the ship they're climbing aboard. That, at least, is something of a blessing. Some people might be able to /guess/, but the media's not going to get ahold of that sort of detail very easily.

"All systems are functional, Captain Eclipse," he reports, yellow photoreceptors flickering as he straps himself into the restraint harness. "The cloaking system is still engaged, and the heat output is still within acceptable margins."

  "Good, because you'd be--"

"Yes, Captain Eclipse, I know," PROXY returns, cheerfully. "I would be strewn in pieces along the Hydian Way. My master would not appreciate that, you know."

"Your master wouldn't /find out/ until it's too late," Juno growls through her teeth, jerking her cap lower over her eyes. "Come on. Let's get out of here."

And, once she has all of her spoken-for allies aboard, that's exactly what Juno's going to do -- get the hell out of Dodge.
Audrey Stormfist     Tractor beams kick to life, and the plate, slowly, stops tilting and losing altitude. It remains static, suspended in the air (maybe even lifted back to its original height), as the engineers, a bit shaken by Berserker still, get back to work on restoring power. The wires weren't really built with the intent to have something like a Servant go all vampire on them, really. You can rest assured the Zaibatsu will be looking into better technology on that end, although with the advent of MP Cells, it might be moot; now they can just have backup batteries on every important system in case power goes out.

Between the Flotilla and the now numerous KIRIN gunships arriving, it'll certainly look good for PR, even if it's bad for production. 'Zaibatsu target of terrorism! Flotilla prevents magitech plate from crashing, investigation underway.' Something like that.
