Nima Kairn     ON THE CONFEDERATE SIDE...

Nima Kairn sits in her quarters aboard the Breaker of Delusion with a holocommunicator in her hand. The door is closed, and all seemingly completely sealed against people listening in.

"Remember, dear. These Confederates may be our allies, but that does not mean they should know of our plans. Anyone can try to seize power when they see it. It must be you and me, my dear apprentice." The pretty blond Darth Zash smiles dazzlingly.

Nima bows her head. "Of course, master. I will be discreet." The holocommunicator goes off, and she slaps open the door to go outside and start her work.

At the ship's conference table, Nima calls for all of her guests to meet her as the Breaker pulls out of orbit above the planet of Balmorra, coming in for approach. As soon as they all arrive, she taps at some buttons at the head of the table for a holomap of the planet to be displayed. There's even landing site and indicators of where the rebels are hiding.

"This is Balmorra. It is an industrial planet renowned for it's starship building capabilities. The Empire seized it before the Treaty of Coruscant... Yet the Republic is not so keen to let us have it. It's suspected that they are supporting rebels on the planet and bringing death to the Empire's front door."

he planet map is replaced by a map of the Imperial stronghold they were going to land in. Outside the walls was a destroyed shantytown; it seemed to be one of the biggest problem spots. "We are to be the vanguard of the Emperor's justice upon these rebels. If we can discover ties to the Republic... all the better. Are there any questions?"
Nima Kairn     ON THE UNION SIDE...

Thankfully for the Rebels, there are Republic spies and special ops members everywhere on Balmorra, and in many places in the Empire. They'd received word that a new player was coming to the fielda Sith that had made some kind of impression on Dromund Kaas, the Empire's home planet. Considering the interest they had in wresting the planet from Imperial hands, it was logical they'd call in their most powerful allies.

Those with ships and on ships would get a secret coded transmission from their Balmorran HQ. Sadly no video or holor or anything like thatafter all, this is supposed to be a secretbut once the code is translated, it lays out the message fairly plainly.

It explains what they're doing and why they're hereand it also explains in clear detail why they /shouldn't be here/, because they're breaking the Treaty of Coruscant.

In short, it's begging for their help while also begging them not to reveal how they knew about all of this. A... random act of kindness from those unpredictable Union Elites, y'know.
Copy Rock     A set of blue booted feet hung over the edge of one of the conference seats. They kick and swing restlessly. Above them, a set of arms is folded on the table top. Upon these arms rests.. a chin. That chin, like the rest of the aforementioned anatomy belongs to Mega Man.

With lips drawn tight, he tries to drink in the finer points of the brief, briefing. His features twist and shift, lips pursing, brows furrowing. Eventually, there is a snort, breath vented through his buton nose as he resolves himself to just asking a question.

It is preceded by a raised hand.

"I got one!" he pipes to draw her eye.

"All of this means you want us to drop down there and just kinda bust up the place and anyone that comes kicking when we turn everything upside down and shake it, right?"
Mantigora     First rule of being a Space Empire: Draw every possible support you can into your ranks, be it by politics or conquests.
Second rule of being a Space Empire: Waste no time in making alliances with those that cannot be absorbed or conquered.

And that is why one of the Dominion's finest is present. Well Mantigora is definately one of their finest. The status of her 'sidekick' is questionable. But the Draken was definately here to make a good impression, for both her own empire and the greater Confederacy as a whole.... or easily written off as a rogue entity due to her bounty hunter statis. The Dominion may be willing to make more alliances for their benefit, but they're not ones to hastily stick all their fingers in the pie, either. Or something. Manitgora never really understood what that adage was suppose to be.

Unsurprisingly it's not the reptillian woman leaning against a bulkhead to pose any questions, but a stubby hand waving past the edge of the table. Then it stops a moment, and the rest of the squat Chua is hoisted into view by his quad-limbed drone. "Yes, question! Skuzzler have question, very important!" He waves his hand a few more times excessively, just to get the point across. "What are local rights to salvage laws, if any?"

Mantigora gives a snorting sound that's somewhere between annoyance and amusement. "Yeah, that's probably good to answer. Trust me, it's... a Chua thing." A light shrug. "I'm just here to kill things."

Skuzzler bobs his head in a nod so hard it makes his ears flop about even though they're half metal. "Yes, very important! Chua must know what SCIENCE to touch or not touch!"
Kazuko Kawakami      Kazuko takes a deep breath as her ride lands, still shaking with excitement at having just been on a FREAKING SPACESHIP. Sure, there weren't any AMAZING SPACE BATTLES or ARMORED SUIT LASERFIGHTS, but still. SPACESHIP. She looks well enough to fight, too, if a little... Underequipped for the sort of fighting that would be expected in a universe that's already mastered interplanatary travel. A track suit? Shorts? A freaking naginata longer than she is?

It'll be fine. Even if she's still a little frazzled mentally from the past few days, she's certainly looking fighting fit physically. She doesn't even have her training weights on for once, but... Well. She just needs to take her mind off things back home, anyway.

What better way than to fight against some sort of Evil Space Empire with the Space Rebels in Space? She's quick to get off her ride as quickly as she get on it in the first place, looking rather excited as she ignores all possible safety regulations to just beeline for the shiniest looking thing in the hangar and gawk at it.

At least she plays a convincing tourist.
Nima Kairn     What she had gotten was... well. Certainly a different group than the people she'd normally dealt with. What appeared to be a droid that actually looked somewhat human, and a couple aliens that she was completely unfamiliar with. A slow, amused smile comes to her face. They didn't act like the people she'd met around the Empire, either. Confident, but without the bearing of Sith or Imperial. It's a whole new experience altogether. And it's /facinating/. Mostly.

To answer Copy Rock, the twi'lek gives him a small nod, still smiling like she was being told a marvelous joke. "In shorter terms, yes. We will begin by pushing off the rebel camps that exist in these ruins outside the walls. I doubt we'll find any evidence there... but it is a start."

The lizardlike humanoid and her... partner? Get their own moment of study as well, as she listens to the Chua's ramblings. "Ah... Salvage laws." She turns a quizzical look to Mantigora, then shrugs at her answer her sidekick. "Take anything you find on the rebel's bodies. They are irrelevant. That said... Bring me any credits. The Empire will of course pay for your service." Unfortunately, she only got a stipend. Paying for the fuel for this ship isn't freaking cheap, you know!
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead is here as well, and is still not fully focused. Plus she is running on little sleep and so is not in the best of minds. As the ship lands, she exits, and is wearing her school uniform and rubs her eyes, "I did not get that much sleep last night," she mentions as she walks over to Kazuko and wave, "Oi, how ye be?" she asks as she looks around. "Where are we at?" she asks her friend as she shakes her head.

"So we are just what, looking and browsing?" she asks her as she was in space once, yesterday and that was fun, but it was the chaser part that really got to her... She shivers as she rememebrs the darkness and the hell she went through.
Copy Rock     "Right!" Rock cheered, pushing back from the table and dismounting from the chair with a hop, feet clapping softly against the floor panels. He straightend and pumped a fist in the air, "Lets get some jack boots on the ground and on some necks!" he continued, tones closer to anticipation towards a trip to a park. His arm lowers, the other rises. His fingers link behind his helmet as he marches towards a door. "Can jack boots be blue?" he wonders, halting for just a beat to look at a lifted foot, the toe of his boot wiggling absently. A nod seemed to say that he had thought about it and yes, blue could be the color of strong-arm oppression.
Mantigora Skuzzler gives the mention of credits a dismissive wave. "Fine, fine. Credits only good for paying off saftey inspectors when not able to just shove them into machinery. Nyahaha!" The rodent-like alien laughs like that was some kind of joke, and probably was meant to be considering Chuas' sick sense of humor as a racial trait, as he hops down off his drone.

"Speak for yourself. I would like to at least get paid," Mantigora retorts as she moves to join the others for their landing. In doing so she leans over a little to mock aside to Nima. "Just let him plunder a few guns or something and he'll be happy."

"I heard that!" Skuzzler retorts as he pulls out his weapon, only for it to expand into a handheld cannon-like device that's nearly as big as he is. Even being only about 3 feet tall, that's pretty impressive for a weapon. ".. But she-draken is accurate in her assessment."

"Color not really matter," Mantigora replies to C-Rock with a fangy grin. "It what skulls you stop into submission with them that important, yes."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa had a job, it was an interesting job, one she'd normally not take but then again this smelled a bit like Darth Vader and given some of her friends encounter with said Empire? This one sounded too close for comfort, really so it was easy enough to get her to take the jobs. She ws just another. She'd given a few other people a lift with her and she'd ordered Slipbolt to keep with the shipo should they need to teleport out at short notice. She was redy to fight, and she was well, she was just looking like a tourist, or maybe a random Sith Acholite from the robes she had on to hide her self. She'd at least done a glance about local fashion before hand, but she knew it wouldn't last too long.

<<You ready Strike 2?>>
Staren     So, the rebels need a distraction, and the Union's not supposed to be here.

That's why the man in the body armor with Kotone could be /anyone/. It's dark-colored, black and grey, with a face-concealing helmet -- though advanced lifesign scanners would indicate it is a robot, not a human. Whoever it is is loaded for bear, though -- Two kinds of what look like rifles, a pistol, grenades, and a high-tech, compact /bazooka/. Five droids follow him, although they're not of any make known to this galaxy -- simple humanoids, not apparently armed or armored. Later review of the designs might source them to Transhuman Space -- certainly one of Staren's favorite places to get stuff, but also home of at least a couple hypercorps that have acted on Kotone's world and who knows where else?

EARLIER

On Kotone's ship, Staren waits for them to approach the planet. With his helmet off, he's clearly in a standard Synth. Staren doesn't seem concerned with whether this is offputting to Kotone -- if he notices it, he puts an AR illusion over himself, though. "The rebels on, um," Staren pauses. "Balmorra." his muse helpfully supplies, and Staren nods and continues, "want a distraction, so I'm going to give them one." Staren pats the bazooka next to him. "I've rigged these cases," he motions to the 'droids', "with explosives, and if capture appears inevitable, this body's wired to blow too--" Staren holds up a hand. "--of course, I'm not suicidal. I would like you to carry this spare, or at least a hardened ecto." He holds out a 10-centimeter metal disc. "If capture appears inevitable, I'll hop into it and blow up this synth. They'll either think I suicided or that this was a remote-controlled drone from the start." Staren looks away for a moment. "...Maybe this is going a bit far, but this is also serves as a test of my ability to operate in a deniable capacity. Whatever I learn from the attempt could be of great help if I ever have to do a black op for the Union." He tries to smile, but the Synth can't make the expression. "Good luck out there. Don't get killed, and thanks for the ride!"

NOW

Okay, so a /two/ layer disguise was needed. Staren's wearing a robe over the armor, and carrying a pack that /could/ be kind of suspicious but at least doesn't immediately scream weapon. The droids are un-disguised. It's kind of odd to have them, but they're not obviously weapons.

Staren's looking around, scoping out potential targets -- expensive-looking machines without people near them, for instance, that would do at least a little damage to the Empire's local war effort. Or boxes of whatever's being manufactured here. Is it ship parts? Weapons? There must be something.
Staren     <<Ready, Strike 1.>> Staren replies. <<See anything that looks like what we're looking for?>>
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead thinks as she looks around, "Ye think we should ahve changed our cloths?" she asks Kazuko as she sees Staren and Kotone.....
Kazuko Kawakami      "Try warm milk with a bit of cinnamon in it. That should help!" Kazuko suggests with concerned, yet distracted tone. It's probably not too surprising, after all, since... Spaceships! In space! "We're in... I... Forgot." She circles around another ship and keeps peering at it closely with childlike wonder. She probably doesn't even realize she's staring at the back of the ship, but who cares? /SPACESHIPS/!

"Nah. It's okay, Mairead. We're just visitors, anyway." It's a token effort at trying to blend in as a tourist, at least, and she certainly doesn't look like a local! Whether she looks like an Elite, though, is up to interpretation.

<<Strike... 3? 4? Um. What were we looking for again?>>
Nima Kairn     As they bantered, 2V-R8 was in the cockpit, bringing the ship in to the Imperial shipyard that serviced this particular Imperial outpost. The proper codes were transferred, everything was set, and the Breaker of Delusion comes in to land nice and smooth. As soon as they've hit terra firma Nima taps the ramp and door controls, and smoothly starts gliding out.

She leads them swiftly through a state-of-the-art outpost, plenty of nice shiny grey metal, computers, and flashing lights. It's a military facility! Hopefully Skuzzler would keep his hands to himself here. An Imperial aid comes to guide them, but he stays completely silent after introducing himself, casting fearful looks at all of them. After the initial bit of banter, the Inquisitor goes silent, her green eyes slowly turning sickly yellow as she brought her rage to boil.

That was just about the time that everyone sneaking around on the Union side could probably spot this group of Confederate elites, given that they obviously do /not/ look like Imperial military. Not a single one of them. Given that the Unionites hadn't started going loud yet, nobody in the base had noticed them. Nima slowly comes to pause and frown. "... I sense something... familiar," she notes quietly. "An uncertain young presence..."

There's still time to start doing things crazy--it seems none of the Imperials had noticed anything weird was going on. For now.
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead looks as she nods,"I will try that," she comemnts as she sees a ship coming in and taps Kazuko on the shoulder, "Look at that ship," she says to her friend as it lands and then blinks a few times cause she has seen that ship "....." and she does a double take as she sees the people wlaking down the ramp of the ship. She raises an eyebrow and then the color just sort of drains form her face, "Och jobby..." she says in Scottish, which was basically oh shit and then she looks at Kazuko, "Quick, hide...." she adds as she attempts to grab her and moves off and away from the Confederates and the Inquistor. . o 0 (I knew I should have stayed in hikari.) she thinks. "She's here...." she says simply as she swallows and silently starts saying prayers...
Mantigora This is -exactly- why that question was important. Knowing he's suppose to wait until they can loot beaten rebels, Skuzzler can refrain himself to an appreciative whistle as he waddles along. "Little on utilitarian side, but definately look like it get job done place is meant to get done." The robot just chugs along behind him on it's four angular legs, a placid little ()_() expression on a small digital screen on the front.

Mantigora doesn't look particularly Imperial but with diversity of alien species in this world she doesn't sharply stand out, either. She does pause when Nima does, tail flicking as she cants her head to the side nonplussed. She's worked around psionic types so the shift in perception and mutterings doesn't bother her really.

"Prehaps our arrival has not gone unnoticed." And then like that, after a brief distortive rippling effect she's gone. But not really gone, as it's her optical camoflague and cloaking effects activating.
Copy Rock     Rock rubber necked from the moment he saw daylight flood past the landing ramp. Wide, red eyes drink it all in. His first alien. his first alien world... He feels his jaw go slack as it washes over him...

The Chua distracts him and he finds himself, head shaking, hands thrusting into pockets... that he doesn't have.

His thumbs just seem to hook into the wasteline of his armored briefs. "It's not so hot." he stats, nose tilting upwards as if he could affect a haughty look.

Still, their host... is weird and does a weird thing. Rock pulls up to a stop at her side, a brow lofting curiously. "Young and..." he considers it, "What?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is just clearly got droid entourage with her nothing to worry about at the mention of Rebels she looks to he droids for a moment. While she talks to staren in cybercomm and she to has become fond of a lot of the tech from Transhuman space as well given she's got a shell made almost purely from technology native to that world. She looked back to STaren for a moment as she contiunes to make ready.

<<Copy that>>

Kotone /has/ changed her clothing and digused herself, but for now she just seems to wandering the space port. Kotone is serious enough and has enough experiance to keep her mind under control for the moment.
Kazuko Kawakami      "Eh? Ooh... That one's cool, too!" Looking over at the Breaker of Delusion next, Kazuko's found a new target to gawk at as she starts walking towards it. It's almost as if she's forgotten that she's here to back up the Union if a fight should break out.

     She totally did.

There's a confused look on the redhead's face when Mairead takes hold of her, however, glancing back at her before following along with a somewhat disappointed look on her face. "Aw... Is something starting already?" She really wanted to look around some more, after all! Another cool spaceship showing up, a blue lady with cool tattoes on her head danglers, a red lady with cool horns, a cute little fuzzy... Thing, and a cute little kid in some kind of weird armor with a scarf!

... Maybe that's what Mairead was worried about.
Staren     Staren's 'droids' approach any unattended fighters and try to climb on (if there aren't enough, some approach the comms array as well.) If anyone approaches them, they start beeping ominously as a warning, although any approached by civilians won't explode. Just before they go off, the cloaked figure pulls the bazooka out of his bag, aims at the comms array, and shouts "VIVE LA REVOLUTION!" in a synthetic voice as he fires.

In the ensuing chaos, the anonymous 'rebel' doffs his cloak while running for cover, and pulls a caseless assault rifle off his back to return any fire that comes his way!

    How's /that/ for distracting?
Nima Kairn     Pushing away the distractions of the bustling Imperial base around her, Nima slowly holds out her hand towards where she feels that fear, that uncertainty. Mairead really should have listened to the Inquisitor's advice on guarding her thoughts from certain prying onlookers. "I believe someone has," she grunts in return to Mantigora's revelation. She reaches out and grabs a passing Imperial officer. "The outpost is under attack. Report to the fleet and have them send--"

BOOM! With all of the explosions, it's pretty clear what was happening now. And they'd hit the communications array. With an irritated scowl, she shoves the soldier away. "Get everyone armed. We will repel this assault."

In the meantime, she locks onto poor Mairead's presence and her poor, unguarded mind. From nowhere came a sharp pain to the girl's head as Nima turned a fraction of herself against her. The impression is VERY clear, and very angry.

<YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE COME HERE.>

To the others, she says simply, "Destroy them," then charges for the starport where she knows Mairead is hiding. Her saberstaff flies immediately to her hand and ignites, purple blades of corusating energy springing to life. She's drawn right to Mairead like metal to a magnet, and the scared teen gets to see a nice long view of an angry Sith walking ominously towards her with lightsaber drawn.

Because clearly her other nightmares weren't enough.
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead is now pulling on Kazuko as she moves, "We have to get out of here," she says to her as she stops and grabs her head,, "Ahh...." she says as she falls forward and onto her knees. "Rrr....run," she says to Kazuko as she looks back. "Please," she states to her friend as she looks and sees trouble heading for the two of them.

Seeing the saber fly into Nima's hand and then ignite, she looks at the lightsaber, aka the Darth Maul style, and blinks, "Oh no......" she says as she starts to back up and once to her feet. She hears the voice and looks as she is now in the fight or flight mode and right now it is flight....

<<Strike 4, T...that Sith is here>> she says over the radio to the others as the tone of her voice is laced with fear. She has never fought against a Force user and has no idea what they can do, but does have a little idea after what she saw in that temple. "Kazuko, be careful," she states as she takes off running away from her, "I'm sorry," she says to her friend as she looks around for something to use. She sees the guards and moves out of the way as they run past and she looks as she finds that she cannot find an exit...

Looking at the wall, she blinks, . o 0 (Trapped.) she thinks as she turns. "Come dance with me Emerald Lady," she says as her school uniform fades and the IS phases in over her training suit and she looks around as she checks everything with a through. She checks her shield strength and it reads (400) and she nods as she summons Bearnard and and Alistair, her beam broadsword and shield and waits.
Copy Rock     And then, well, things got interesting.

All of this, the explosions, the sudden turmoil of a unknown attacker or attackers amongst the countless, it would be much more troubling if Rock...cared. He looked around with absent grunts of "huh, wha?" as everything began to work itself into a frevor. The weird alien lady draws some kind of energy lance thing... and finds himself becoming keenly interested in it. Red eyes grow wide as saucers, transfixed, memorizing it's every detail... in the form of a picture.

The image snaps away and travels back to a monitor. It sits there in a folder, waiting for a man with a pointed nose to puzzle over it.. and perhaps become inspired.

He snaps out of it, a shake of his head bringing him back to the here and now. "Ugh..." he groans, gaze lifting as he reacclimates himself.

"Oh, right, jack-booting." he recalls.

He follows after Nima for his fated prey lay on her path. Finding Kazuko he skids to a halt, boot soles squeaking as he digs in and... considers her.

His gaze flits from her to a local. Back and forth he compares her to her surroundings... One of these things was not like the other!

"REBEL!" he judges her, a finger thrust forward to make his target of admonishment clear. "Get ready to be stomped!"
Mantigora The droids ambling about the ships don't get past Skuzzler's engineering notice, but are initially presumed to be worker units or some such. Up until they start climbing onto some fighters, and when the Imperial workers approach one demanding it cease it's improper activity the droid starts beeping irritably at them. <<Situation! We have situation!>> he snaps over his comm even as he scurries across the deck surprisingly fast for those short legs when he wants to. That and it helps that he actually dives forward and rolls like some kind of mad hedgehog.

Just as the droids are exploding and the comm tower is being blasted with missiles.

And as the smoke of one droid explosion clears several crewmen would find themselves still standing, thanks to the energy barrier being projected by the Chua that had dove between their legs. "Good thing keep defense grid charged," Skuzzler mutters to himself. Then shoots a look at the workers. "Well? Don't just stand there gawping like retarded rowendowsers! GET TO SHELTER. Chua got more important things to do than protect work minions second time!" A few bleeps from his drone emphasizes the order as it's expression screen changes to an angry >_< and the top of its body pops open to reveal gunpods.

<<Gee, so glad you noticed>> Mantigora retorts dryly. <<Already on it.>> The cloaked figure that fired the bazooka was running back for cover, but that didn't stop the Stalker from living up to her class title in tracking his movement. She waits until he's busy getting his rifle ready before charging in to strike, almost appearing to materialize out of thin air from the cloaking field as she takes a swing at the back of his head with one of her serrated macerators.
Kazuko Kawakami      Kazuko yelps at the sudden explosion coming from somewhere behind her, the noise making her jump somewhat and grasp the shaft of her naginata on reflex. "What was...?" Oh. Right. Distractions. This was what they were here for, wasn't it? That's what it sounded like coming in, at least, but hell if she remembered what they were supposed to be doing there. Not that she really needs to focus on details like that, though, when Mairead's falling over herself in pain.

"Mairead! Are you okay?!" Hunching over to help the girl up, she follows her gaze over to the blue lady with the lightsaber and the scarf-wearing kid in the blue armor. Although she can't help but stare at how impressive looking the lightsaber and scarf are, the martial artist soon steels herself as she brandishes that naginata. A nod is given to the retreating Mairead, and then and holds it ready while staring straight at Nima the two.

"Hey! What'd you do to my friend?! You two better stop this!" She pauses for a moment. "... What rebel? I'm just here to look at cool stuff!"

She's not completely lying, at least.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is making ready at this point she sees the cat is out of the barrel. She mutters something but it's time to go.

<<Sith? You mean like Lord Vader? Great, just great an utterly unhinged psi user. Deal with them like we would a Sectoid Commander Strike 2>>

She throws her cloak off and is seen holding a pair of blasters a bit sleek by this era's standards but they are clearly blaster.

"More murderous droids, great."

With that sh She's moving into the battle at this point she's firing mostly wildy for the moment tying to give her allies support fire and she's going to end up moving with a good deal of inhuman agility and speed as she goes.
Staren     Staren would feel uncomfortably like a terrorist if this wasn't, well, an enemy military base. As it is, everything still feels strange...

And then suddenly, he's getting hit in the back of the head. Fortunately, he's 1. wearing a helmet, and 2. not relying on squishy brainmeats. His head rocks forward, as Mantigora's perfectly-placed stealth strike splits open a gash in the helmet and bares metal underneath, but he's not stunned, just surprised -- he turns, and reaches out, trying to touch her (if contact is made, electricity zaps from his armor, trying to taze her) and he backs away, trying to get room to use his ranged weapons again.
Nima Kairn     It was like every last one of them was a child. Kazuko's appearance brings a darker scowl to the Sith's face when she makes her appearance. She'll let Mairead wander off for now; Nima could feel the waves of fear coming off of her from a mile away. "Is the Republic so desperate for this planet that they'd send children to do their dirty work?" She wonders aloud to the Japanese girl, her eyes narrowed into thin slits of emnity. "You have chosen the wrong side, child." But, hey, Copy is there to handle her! That's perfect.

Turning away from the naginata wielder, Nima motions to Copy Rock to take her place. "I have a foolish child to chastize," she says dismissively to the Japanese girl. And once the robot gets to work, Nima resumes her hunt.

The worst part is, Nima occaisonally did things to make sure Mairead knew where she was--and that she was being hunted. The Sith jumps high into the air to clear some obstacles--even sometimes jumping over Mairead's head as the girl fled. Kotone's wild attacks are mostly avoided, though she does get a couple good grazes in! But that's about when the chase ends, and Mairead is left in her dead end.

"I realize, much to my folly, you didn't learn very much of the Sith in our time together," Despite her anger, her voice is still just as calm and collected as it had been the first time they met. "The single greatest persuit of the Dark Side is power. The way to gain power is through passion. There are many that will do, but some of the best to use is anger..." She motions to herself, "And fear." Then to Mairead.

"You can still retreat if you think carefully. Tell me who sent you and your comrades, and you can walk out of this whole."
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead blinks as she hears this, "I..I was sent by no one," she says to Nima. "I was here with my friend as she looked at ships," she adds as she looks for an exit. She could get out if she gives up her friends, but she is not gonna do that. "I maybe scared, but I will not give up my friends just to get away," and the beamsword activates.

As it activates, she closes her eyes and tries ot calm herself. "I am not here to do anythign, but I will do my best to protect myself and my friends," she states as she opens her eyes. "It is your call, cause I have no idea who caused that explosion," and she is tellign the truth as she literally has no idea, she slept through that as she was tired form the mind fuck she went through the night before.
Mantigora If she had an oppritunity to actual admire it, Mantigora would greatly approve of Nima's hunter-like tactics, particularly the putting fear into one's prey before going in for the kill. But at the moment she's a bit busy dealing with the first would-be saboture.

Reflexively she grabs for the offending reach, but pushing Staren's arm away is still enough of a contact for the taser-like discharge to go off from. It gets her to let go and yank her hand away again with a hiss of discomfort, though it's more like she has to duck moments afterwards when gunfire starts blasting out from another interloper that gives Staren a few scant moments to back off from her.

Though instead of getting back up Mantigora remains in that crouch, looking very much like some sort of alien predator beast. <<Deal with that other annoyance,>> she snaps at Skuzzler over the comm, before locking onto Staren again. The busted helmet revealed more metal, and her tactical scanners were delivering readouts more akin to robotic than any organic life readings. "Nice of you to save us the trouble of having to come -find- you." The macerators are flipped back into her inventory, only to be replaced by a set of energized claws extending from her forearms as she rushes again, this time with a flurry of quick slashing movements with the now bared battleclaws.

At the orders to do something about the cover fire Skuzzler turns and smacks what would be the 'head' of his robot. "Don't just stand there, do what made to do!" The Artillery Bot gives a few annoyed bleeps at the smack, but does as ordered to. As it scurries out into the open its gunpods flare again as Skuzzler points the targetting array of his own weapon in Kotone's direction, followed by a *chnk chnk chnk chnk* of gunfire after... whatever she is. We'll figure that out after shooting holes in her. That's just how Chua think about such things.
Nima Kairn     Dead ends in more ways than one. Nima can certainly feel Mairead's fear, but at the same time knows that she is telling the truth... as she knows it, anyway. Unfortunate. She reaches up to tap on a comms bead in her ear to speak into it quietly. Once her message is conveyed, she shakes her head slowly.

"It isn't quite so simple. You are among rebels and traitors, and you are in a restricted Imperial base." Nima shakes her head--she actually does look disappointed. "You will come with me. At the very least, I will see about having you be my prisoner instead of this installation's."

But clearly Mairead shows that she's not simply going to give up. Very well, time to test her in combat. She lifts her lightsaber up in front of her with one hand... and with the other pumps Force electricity into the blade, making it shiver and jump with jolts of purple and black power.

And then once the display is over she immediately charges forward, whirling the saberstaff around her in confusing patterns before she goes for a quick jap at her side, away from her shield arm. It might actually feel like a test, if the teacher meant to actually beat you up a bit.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa own covering fire is only to try and keep the enemy distracted, at least for the moment. She's pinballing about and either she's some kind of force user, alien or a droid of some sort. She doesn't stop moving that much she's learned in her time in the multivese. She is however trying to get to Mairead's aid for not at least until Mantigora opens up on her and that kills any thoughts on trying to go after the sith some more.

She does bring the blaster pisols against Mantigora support units trying to keep them off Staren's back and trying to not get exploded herself.
Copy Rock     "Right!" Chimed Rock, drawing his accusing finger back to himself. He worked his hands, grinding a fist into the open hand of one palm befor repeating the action in a mirroring motion. knuckles popped and cracked. He started forward, attempting to look threatening, dangerous, intimidating... But he was likely eye level with her ber elbow so there was only so much he could do.

Whatever headway he had managed in that regard likely dissolved when blaster fire rained down from Kotone!

It pocked and hissed at his armor, a scorched dent thumping into the side of his helmet staggering him! He reeeled, barked a nonverbal complained as he lifted his arms protectively. He sputtered, half spoken words and strained letters that would lead to terse swears were he not bound from them.

"Rrrr!I don't care if you're a Rebel or not, I'm really going to beat you up now!" Rock swore, rosey cheeked with anger as he stomped, the pavement cracking beneath the heel of his boot.

His tantrum starting, he hefted his right arm towards Kazuko and fired! Where once there was a arm was now a cannon, materializing in over the limb. His buster cannon spat out motes of energy, a swift rush of pew pew pew!
Kazuko Kawakami      "Child? I'm sixteen, you..." How old was Nima, anyway? Kazuko's never seen anyone like her before, and it'd be rude to insult her by just calling her old. Plus, it'd be a complete guess, so she'd just end up looking dumber if she got it wrong. And it's not as if she can afford to just ask the woman her age, can she?

"... How old are y-" By the time she even starts to get that question out, the Sith is already hurtling into the air way past Kazuko and Mairead. Before she can double-back to assist the IS-user, however, Kazuko's confronted by Rock! "Wha..? You're working for the bad guys, then? I won't hold back even if you're cute!"

<< Thanks, 2. Or 1? Er. 3, moving in! >> As she chimes in over the comms to the rest of her team, the martial artist blinks before jumping aside to avoid those buster shots. "Whoa! E-even if that's cool...!"

And then it's Kazuko's time to attack! Dashing straight at Rock rapidly, she brings the naginata up over her head before taking broad horizontal swipe at his legs. It's not very flashy nor strong, but it's fast!
Mairead Sandilands     Looking, Mairead looked and saw the incoming attack as she was familiar with this type of combat, but the movements caught her as she batted the attack away with the beam weapon as she moves to the left as she pivots to keep Nima in her line of sight. Granted she could see 360 degrees due to her IS' Hyper Sensors.

AS she bats the strike, she has her shield up to block any additional attacks form the other havlf of the staff weapon and moves off and backwards as she watches the Sith lady. "Sorry, but I am not that green," she comments as she looks on and readies again, shield up and beam sword ready. Then she does somethign else, she moves forward and takes a strike at the Sith's back. As she strikes or tries to, she will always bring her shield up to the front as it is the best weapon for defense and will keep that weapon form her, although not sure how long.....

If she hits, it is to wound slightly, aiming for the bicept of the right arm and then will move off away from her as she tries ot keep distance between the two of them.
Staren     Staren gets some breathing room, but Mantigora is eager to close the distance again. Staren's not sure what she's talking about, but it doesn't really matter -- he yanks one of the grenades off his armor and flicks it in her direction as he takes off running, risking leaving cover to get more distance. As for that grenade... it airbursts as it gets close, and when it explodes, a massive amount of heat is released, turning some of the air into plasma and creating a huge fireball -- in fact, Staren seems to have underestimated the radius, as he's caught in it too, scorching his armor and maybe even melting it slightly in spots as the fire washes over him. He gives a surprised shout of "Aaah!" but keeps running. Of course, it's much worse closer to the center of the blast...
Copy Rock     "Fast!" observed Rock as Kazuko darted in. His left hand came around to steady his right arm. He littered her path with bolts of light only to have her close with him before he could draw a proper bead on her! She was coming in, her weapon sweeping back and then in low! That wasn't good, if he evaded, she'd just have him on his heels as he tried to out-pace her. He tried something a little less wise.

He was short, it was a sore point but right now, it was also a advantage. He stooped down, the armored cannon of his left arm dipping down into the sweeping arc of her weapon. Metal clashed against metal, her blade hacking a deep gouge into the metal that nearly breached the plating! His features contorted with pain and effort as he held the block.

"What... what do you mean by that?!" he demanded, "I'm not cute,-" he challenged, stepping forward, lifting his arm, the blade of her naganita sparking against the armor as it ground further. He tried to push inside of her range with a sudden lurch, left hand balled into a fist that came streaking up towards her jaw in a sudden uppercut, Rock hopping off of the balls of his feet to reach his target.

"I'm Mega Man!"
Nima Kairn     It was good that Mairead had figured to use the shield to block the other half, Almost immediately after her intial blow is bat aside she follows up with a swing that crashes against the beam shield, and the air fills with staticy crackling as the two forms of energy met and separated. "No, apparently you are not," Nima notes dispassionately. "But I already know how green you really are."

Nima notes the attack as it comes, standing perfectly still with her saberstaff readied. As the attack comes in, she deactivates the lower half of the saberstaff and brings the other behind her to block, then flourish as she turned straight on. She's trying to send Mairead's beam sword wide on that side, it seems. With that done, she reactivates the blade as Mairead dances away.

Of course, she can't let it go unpunished; with a flick of her wrist, she discharges the electricity gathered on her lightsaber in an arc towards the teenager, hoping to make her use the shield to block her own vision as the Sith charges forward again. This time she doesn't just use one single attack; the saberstaff whirls around making that ominous vroom sound. Many ferocious attacks were the trademark of Juyo, the Seventh Form, and Nima's trying to use it to overload Mairead's senses.
Kazuko Kawakami      A sly grin crosses Kazuko's face at Rock's brief comment on her speed. Was Yang really right? That's something to consider later as she digs her blade into that arm cannon, almost feeling a little bad at that look of pain on the Not-Blue Bomber's face.

"S... Sure you are! With the scarf and the tiny-" That moment of talking costs her some as he moves forward, throwing her off just long enough to go for that jumping uppercut. She takes it square on the chin and gets sent flying several yards back, landing after an awkward backflip.

"Kuh... N-not bad!" She shakes her head quickly to shake off some of that grogginess, then adjusts her hold on the naginata. "But.. Not good enough!" Rushing in again, she actually darts from side to side while spinning the naginata at her side, the polearm taking on a faint yellow glow as her ki starts pooling into it. Instead of swinging it at him, however, Kazuko instead opts for a quick flurry of kicks!
Mantigora "Errk!" Skuzzler squeals out when Kotone stops and turns to open fire on them instead. True to form the space gerbil lunges for cover behind some supply crates.

Several of the blaster shots plonk across the Artillery Bot's frame, causing little sparks and plumes of smoke to sizzle from it. Until the last shot hits it in such a manner that it actually twirls it's upper body around a few times. Irritable digital warbles emit from it, until it finally stops spinning. Not that it helps much as it staggers in a very drunk-like fashion with it's @_@ display and tottles smack into a bulkhead. Wobbles back a few steps... and then walks right into the wall again. And again. And again.

These bots have 'Pathing Issues' as a technical flaw for a reason.

With a snarl at the bot's malfunction Skuzzler switchs the settings on his Launcher, then steps back out from behind the crates. As he levels it in Kotone's direct the muzzle irises open wider, kirby krackle flashing across the arpeture as recoil dispersing vents click open at the back. "SCIENCE SAY YOU DIE NOW!" Skuzzler screechs at the top of his lungs just as a rather large beam of particle energy belchs out of the cannon at Kotone!

For a moment Mantigora's eyes actually widen a bit when her target pulls out a grenade and throws it despite the interior location. It's only by the virtue of how much the nanotech magnifies her reaction times that she has a chance to pull back from her charge and hold up her arms in what would probably be a vain defensive maneuver, at least externally. Her race may be able to withstand intense temperatures but that doesn't account for surges of plasma! Being engulfed in the explosion means she sadly can't see Staren's miscalculation nearly blowing himself up in the process.

Needless to say, things in their general vicinity are likly smoking, smoldering and on fire after the plasma burned into everything....

There's an audible *CRUNCH* as something is crushed underfoot as Mantigora literally -steps out of- the lingering flames. The exterior coating of her combat duster has been burned off, showing the scorch damage to the futuristic armor that really makes up her attire. Except for the sleeves, which are gone entirely, the ends around her shoulders still smoking some. That just makes it all the more visible where her already normally red skin has been charred black. And where the scaly epidermis has been burned completely off her arms and legs, the 'skin' of her nanotech can be seen, visibly twitching with every muscle movement.

She looks like hell, but that didn't -stop- her. Nor does it stop her from leaping towards Staren with surprising speed for someone that just got plasma burned alive, aiming a staggering dropkick at his backside as he's trying to run again.

Only to twist midair on the rebound, using the spin as a windup to bring her battle claws thrusting downward at him quickly afterwards.
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead looks and is glad se blocked that attack, as the line on her shield is deep, but it is not damaged. However, she si not worried, as Emerald Lady will repair it when the IS is not active, but that will take time. Looking at something, Mairead reads the numbers (300 and blinks as she sees the arc of electricity and raises her beam sword up to block it. . o 0 (This is gonna be trouble, and I cannot get hit by that blade any more) she thinks as she blocks the arc and looks as she flies back atthe attacks and tries to block some of them with her beam sword and shield.

Looking, the numbers count down 250) and another hit, (200) and she looks as this is not good. As she sees the attacks, she mutters as she thinks and a burst of energy flies from the shield as it opens up, and glows yellow and the shield covers her as she stops.... With the last hit, she takes to the sky, fast and pulling a solid G as she looks down and summons Loch Rain and begins to fire off from the shotgun and then the two hovering wings behind her left shoulder open up and a total of 6 missiles fly out after Mairead has a lock on Nima. She does not talk back, but just concentrates on the fight.

<<At this rate, I am gonna be out of energy with my IS.>> she says over the radio as she keeps an eye on the Sith as the Hyper Sensor feeds all the info from aroudn her to her, so she can see everything going on. . o 0 (I wish I had a better rang weapon.) she thinks as she keeps firing the shotgun.
Copy Rock     Boots clap against the pavement once more, knees bending slightly before he straightens himself. The muzzle of his Mega Buster rests against his hip, the other hand remains balled. "Y'feel that?! That's just a taste of the power of a robot built to fight! Not some little wind-up toy." He held the fist up, clenching it tightly as if it alone was all the proof he needed. It then whipped out, batting the thought from the air with a discarding sweep! This arguement would not disuade her, it seemed. She insisted on testing het mettle against his metal!

Reach, he hated reach, it seemed like anyone over the age of twelve had it on him! Still, he was smaller, fast, agile, he could-!

Get kicked right upside that big ole target of a head he had. Her shoe snapped against the helmet and Rock barked his displeasure. He staggered to the left, head snapoping away. She caught him again and again, hefty blows that pounded at him until he could get his guard up, blocking and accepting the blows along his arms. He rocked and bobbed with the impacts, seeming to just wither under his assault. She'd have him battered and sobbing under heel soon, a poor, brutalized boy robot who's only real fault was being built by a evil man...

Red eyes flashed, a moment's chance, she flung a kick towards his side, he lifted his arm and took it against the ribs of his endoskeleton. It stung but might be worth it!

He tried to wrap his arm around the offending leg, catch her up and lock her down, trying to lock her ankle in the crook of his arm.

If he can anchor her, it promised a bit of a trip, he rocking back on his heels and spinning her around and around in quick circles, building momentum before he'd loose her to fly away and crash against something.
Staren     Actually, 'plasma' explosives are designed to be a little more friendly to indoors use -- since they superheat the air instead of rapidly converting a solid explosive into a gas, the shockwave is greatly reduced, although not entirely eliminated.

When Staren hears Mantigora moving he turns and tries to fill her full of lead, except instead of lead it's some smart material that stays hard to penetrate when it hits armor and softens to spread out for more damage when it hits flesh. Barring supernatural powers, she couldn't possibly dodge in midair, right?

The downside of this is that when Staren tries to hop aside at the last split-second, he doesn't leave himself enough time to -- the kick connects and he goes down on his back, with her atop him.

He's so surprised, he'll spend at least a second trying to scramble out from under her before he remembers to activate the shock function again!
Kazuko Kawakami      Even with kick after kick after kick, it doesn't look like Kazuko's ready to let up! "Give up already! A kid like you shouldn't be out here!" Sure, it's rather heartbreaking to have to beat on a kid, but with the way he's taking them? She's not ready to give him a chance to breathe unless he asks for it!

Or takes matters into his own hands. Literally, even, when he gets a firm hold of her leg on that last kick. As much as she tugs and tries to yank her foot back, Kazuko's built for speed rather than power, and it truly shows here. She ends up hopping awkwardly just to not lose her balance, and she lets out a startled yelp when Rock starts swinging her about like some sort of shotput!

"Gyah! Why, you..!" Another yelp escapes the martial artist as she drops her naginata and is sent flying, barely managing to cover her head with her arms before slamming hard into a large metal crate. Landing on the ground with a painful thud, she struggles just to push herself up before coughing and hacking up blood while propping herself up on her elbows.
Copy Rock     "I KEEP TELLING YOU!" he screams after her, the ring of her body impacting against the crate ringing richly in his ears, "I'M NOT A KID!"

He approaches her, slowly, not savoring her downfall but too angry to rush her without screaming his case first. His is the voice of a child's made sharp and loud by rage. He WANTS it to thunder but it only shrills.

He passes a crate, larger than he is, much so. A hand grips the corner, unknowingly it traipses across a small console set into the container. The thing lurches up on antigravs, looking for all the world like he just lifted the thing single handedly!

"I'm NOT a kid. I'm not even Human!" he seethed at her as he approached, halting to plant himself and anchor his heels, jaw tight, lips pulled away in a snarl as his body reeled back and sent the hovering crate HURTLING towards her with a powerful shove!

He screamed after it, "I'm a ROBOT!"
Nima Kairn     Personal shields could be such a pain to deal with. The telltale marks of her saberstaff shearing away bits of the shield were helpful indicators, but in truth Nima had no idea how much this girl had to go on. "You have not been trained for this, have you?" The Inqusitor says conversationally, even as her lightsaber whirled around. "I have been trained for life and death, child. Can you say the same?"

When the shield flares yellow and repulses Nima's attack, she's quick to spring backwards to prepare for what comes... And that's when Mairead starts flying. What would've been a fairly simple matter to solve is complicated when she has to actually avoid projectile weaponry. Pro tip: lightsabers don't do so well against such things, especially not scattered shot like this. Try as she might, a couple pellets manage to find a home in her, particularly in her arms and a couple in her thigh. It BURNS. But such pain only makes Nima's eyes glow brighter.

The next wave was a batch of missiles. A hand is stretched out, seizing for the Force to try to redirect them... and she mostly succeeds, forcing them to impact around her, but still washing her with flame and bits of shattered metal and concrete. She even gets a couple cuts on her lekku--that's the really painful part. As the smoke clears, she's still standing. She even deactivates her lightsaber and sets it into her belt, but then reaches out into the air with both hands...

Mairead might suddenly feel the sensation of something pushing down roughly. Nima's apparently using the force to try to slam her into the ground. She might be able to push against it--or if she's qucik enough mentally, try to interrupt Nima. But if she can't, she might end up eating concrete in a really bad way.
Mantigora There's visible splatter of what is presumably the alien's blood as she's shot with the armor piercing slugs, but as it's already clear he's not dealing with someone easily stopped just by physical damage it shouldn't be a surprise that it doesn't stop Mantigora from kicking Staren over and pressing her aggressive position.

The taser function activates from the scientist's armor, but the Draken is so far into a bloodythirsty rush that she doesn't seem to be registering any of the pain. Even as she's shocked again and again she keeps striking back, trying to tear her claws into the armor or whatever it is her opponent is wearing/made of. At this point she doesn't really care, bloodlust doesn't really discriminate in it's viciousness.

Though Staren is getting a very up close and personal experience in why the Draken are so feared by Exiles -and- their own Dominion allies alike. There's no show of pain or remorse, she just keeps coming, lashing out again and again with those wicked clawblades.
Kazuko Kawakami      Having had the wind knocked out of her, Kazuko's still struggling to get back on her feet by the time Rock starts yelling at her. She cringes slightly each time, both from the sheer volume of it and once more when she sees him lifting that crate with almost no apparent effort whatsoever. Just how strong is this kid.. Robot? Not being human explains some things, but all that anger...

"You're... A kid robot, then!" Is she doing that on purpose, or is she just being stubborn about not being wrong? Either way, she notices the crate's hovering state just in time to start rolling flat on the ground towards Rock, just barely squeezing underneath the crate as it passes by!

Kazuko doesn't stop rolling, though. No, she just keeps rolling sideways rapidly like some sort of badly-controlled fighting game character before jerking herself up with ki flowing into her fist.

"Kawakami Style: Sasori-uchi!" And from that awkward position on the floor, she aims a ki-boosted punch right at the Not-Blue Bomber's gut! It's still a human fist against a robotic torso, but it's the only thing she could think of in such a short time.
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead blinks as she sees Kazuko go flying and turns as she sees the crate moving, "Kazuko!" she says as she starts to move to intercept the crate, only she feels somethign and blinks, "Wha..." and then is brought down, hard as she slams into the metal floor and she grunts form the force of the pull as the wind is knocked out of her. When she saw what happened to Kazuko, she did not even ehar Nima and does not answer her, but she looks as she checks her energy level (145) and she looks. . o 0 (Crap.....) she thinks as she is slow to get up and looks at Nima and than at Rock and with a thought, flies towards Kazuko, only to see she is moving and she pulls up duing a tight loop as she looks at Nima.

<<I am at 36 percent energy.>> she mentions as she looks at Nima and blinks for a moment as she summons her bow, Ivar and begins to fire beam bolts at her as she draws back the string and releases it. Mairead knows she will dodge and/or block these, but she is almost out of ammo with Loch Rain and only has 14 more missiles left.....
Copy Rock     The area fills with a bone-shaking, hollow, metallic, 'KLOONG!' as the crates collide.

recovering from the throw, Rock reels back and trumpets his assumed victory with sharp, "HAH!" That'll teach her to-

Come rolling out towards him?!

He was... he was dumb founded. How had she even... THIS DID NOT COMPUTE!

While his processor scrambled to... process, she said something, Kiwi Kimchi style or something, his features twisted up into a incredulous glower and he was about to ask her exactly what the H-... the H-!....

The Heck she was on about!

But instead... she punched him.

It shot something through him, something that the armored weave of his suit nore the protective, subdermal plating could absorb.

He buckled, a arm bent over his middle as he folded in on himself and dropped to his knees.
Nima Kairn     And there it was... the fear. Once Mairead has hit the ground, Nima slowly stalks forward to where she landed, bringing her saberstaff back to her hand and igniting it, slowly spinning it around herself. Clearly Mairead was distracted by her friends getting harmed. Rude as it might be, it's something that Nima intends to capitalize on.

And sadly, the transition to beam or blaster weaponry is one in Nima's favor, because the lightsaber is made to deal with such things. Of course, Nima stays mobile as she flourishes her saberstaff around. It was time to get completely serious, so... as much as it might give Nima some distaste...

After one of the arrows is deflected, she reaches out again with her left hand. Probably getting ready to use the Force again, but it's nothing so nice as a push or a pull. Force lighting streams from her fingertips, aiming to overload the girl's systems at last. If it gets through, though... it's going to hurt.
Kazuko Kawakami      The good news: The punch hit, and it seemed to actually work rather well on Rock!

The bad news: The punch hit, and Kazuko's pretty sure she broke something doing that. The ki doesn't offer her any actual protection once her limbs make contact, after all! She alternates between clutching that hand and coughing blood onto it, all that rolling from before only serving to aggravate the injuries from getting thrown into a crate in the first place.

"Y... You had enough yet?" She nearly shouts that as she forces herself up unsteadily, backing away from Rock to keep an eye on him and staying fully on the defensive. "You... Gah... You shouldn't be here!"

Her eyes do dart from side to side a few times, trying to get a better look at where her allies are in this fight and how they're doing. She can't break off to help any of them just yet, but if she can just find that opening....
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead blinks as she sees the lightning coming towards her as Nima just blocks the bolts. Luckily Emerald Lady is ready and uses the one thing that it built into all IS',called The Absolute Protection. This is activated by IS itself and not by pilot and is there for one thing and one thing only, protection. This ability is said to be able to protect the pilot from any kind of attack, but it also has seriously high power consumption, depleting the power of IS with just single activation (In that sense, it is more like pilot safety mechanism rather than combat defense mechanism) as the IS reads (145) the energy left in

When this activates, the lightning will deflect off or around the IS, but it has one major flaw. It will last for less than a single round, less then 10 seconds really, and then the IS powers down as it phases out and leave Mairead in her IS Traing Suit as it returns to its closed form. You see, all the weapons and shields use the IS's power and when the level reaches (000), its shuts down. This is to fully protect the pilot and nothing else.

The problem now is, that Mairead is hit by the Force Lightning that did not get blocked cause of the energy left and starts to scream in pain as it rushes over her and she is now on the ground, wailing and screaming as she is shocked/electrocuted by Nima and is more or less out of the fight.

Her screams can be heard throughout the area they are in and odds are the metal floor is not helping her but the Force lightning and who knows what kind of damage this will leave her with.
Staren     The drakken tears into the 'anonymous rebel'. Her claws tear rents into his armor's plating and quicly tear through the material below, baring a second layer of metal plating which has wires and circuits beneath. In the meantime, Staren empties the rifle's magazine into her at point-blank range, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

And all of his other weapons are explosives that will just blow him up too at this distance...

In his real body, with his full set of personal gear, he'd have countermeasures. Magic wings for flying, beam swords to tear her up as much as she's tearing into him... But all he has right now...

    ...Is allies.

<<Kotone! Hit her with foam in 2, 1...>> Staren drops the rifle, brings his hands together, and tries to SHOVE Mantigora off with all his robotic might! It's not superstrength, but it's pretty strong all the same! "RAAAAAAGH!"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa has Skullzer who is very not happy with her just after what. Kotone starts moving and is giving up any pretenses about being a being of flesh she's got to move for all she's worth. she's not attacking now she's just seeming to dodge. She does however get Staren's transmission which she'll act on at the apex of a cartwheel in the air.

<<Grenades's out!>>

the thing goes flying it beeps several times on impact and will explode in a strange form like subject it won't be able to cover Mantigora entirely but it will gum up things stick to them and the grounf nd hopefully slow them down for the moment.
Copy Rock     And so there they are, he trying to struggle with the first introduction of ki to his systems and she struggling with the fact that she just punched something that's a closer relation to a refrigerator than a punching bag.

He holds himself up with a hand braced against the concrete, palm flat against its rough surface. His fingers draw in, forming a fist. He draws it back and slams it down, the poured stone cracksz with the strike, grit clinging to his knuckles as tiny fractures jag outwards from the strike.
"I'I am Not a Kid." his voice catches, not like a stammer but more a music file corrupted. He draws back and with their proximity she might even be able to hear the soft whine and hiss of his servos and pneumatics. "Not a K'Kid Robot either." he corrects. a new sound is introduced, a sort of keening sound... it's coming from his arm. The light gauge is steadily filling, one segment at a time.

"I'I am just-just a Robot. I am Mega Man." he claims, lifting his arm with measured effort and showing her her own, fish-eye reflection in the the lense of the focusing aparature just within the muzzle of his weapon.

"I-I-I was meant to be here. I was Bui-uilt for this."

"You Were Not."

Three bars, four, the charge in his Mega Buster grows, the whine of the capacitors growing sharper. "You-you-you leave."
Mantigora It's not superstrength, but in the same stretch, Mantigora is already had the crap beat out of her. If it wasn't for the stalker nanotech that augments most of her body... As is she's going to have third degree plasma burns and a multitude of gunshot wounds to heal. Good thing the Dominion has the wonders of future sci-fi medicine. Though it's still going to be an extended recovery.

Back to the matter at hand though. Mantigora gets shoved off her target just as she was winding back for a death blow, which throws off her balance. The stagger is just long enough for Kotone to pelt her with the foam grenade, and after the *FWOOMF* the Draken gets plastered against a wall of the bay. "GRYAAAAAAH!" It's really hard to tell if that was just growling, or some alien curse that didn't translate. After a bit of snarling and groaning in frustration Mantigora does start to come down from that bloodlust though.

"Insolete rebels fight more dirty than Chua." Skuzzler still has his big cannon out, though he's just keeping it pointed in the enemy's direction as he trudges sidelong in Mantigora's direction. While he could probably still blast away at them, he does have some sense of loyalty to his companion-in-arms. "Hold still, Skuzzler will get ou--"

"No you idiot don't--" But she can't do anything to stop him from trying to pull the foam off, only to get his hands stuck as well. "--Nevermind."

"Infernal viscosity!" After a few tugs Skuzzler tries to push himself free with a foot, only for that to get stuck as well. "This would be hilarious prank if not such humiliating moment in time!"

Now would probably be a good time to get the hell out of Balmorra before they do get loose....
Nima Kairn     And so it came to an end. The desperation and admirable wish to survive from this gives Nima a moment of respect... but in the end, the shield can't hold forever, and eventually the Force finds it's way, as it always does. In this case it finds it's way inside Mairead's body and along her nerves, playing merry hell with her nervous system. Thankfully Nima's not a sadist, so she doesn't hold it past a couple seconds after the teenager's shield breaks and she starts to scream.

Even that scant amount of time could be utter torture.

Standard Sith wisdom was to kill this weak girl while she was down and feel no remorse for it--and considering that they had struck /inside an Imerpial base/ makes the thought all the more tempting. But killing children... Not many Sith would've cared, but this was something Nima wasn't quite willing to do. Instead, she leans over to grab the teen by the collar and lift her up, make her look into those sickly yellow and red pupils.

"You are lost. Consider yourself fortunate that you are not sensitive to the Force and ultimately unimportant; letting you live will hardly cost me. That said..." Her other hand lifts and starts to squeeze the air, and the sensation is carried to Mairead's throat. The Force Choke, though much less intense. "Do /not/ return to the Sith Empire's space again."

That done, she drops the girl again, and the sensation of the Force is gone. She's reaching up to her bead to reach the commander of the station. "Commander--move in with security forces and secure the site. If there are any more rebels, kill them immediately and have them incinerated."

Across the line, the Commander nods slowly. "Of course, my lord." And then he starts sending Imperial troops armed with blasters out into the area.

Now is DEFINITELY the time to leave.
Staren     Staren feels relief as Mantigora gets gummed up -- he also feels oddly detached. Adrenaline should be pumping through his system right now, he should be shaking, maybe even laughing as her assistant just gets stuck to her, but... there is only steel and circuits. He grabs the rifle in one hand, hops up to his feet, stumbles a bit, covering his gaping chest wound with the other hand... and runs to Mairead's side, to help her up and, if necessary, drag her off.

rHe's not sure if this mission was a success or not. Right now, they need to get out of here, although he still has the option of sacrificing this body to buy the others more time, if it comes down to it.
Kazuko Kawakami      That settles that, then. Kazuko keeps backing away from Rock as he starts charging his cannon, gritting her teeth and giving him a slow nod. She's not in any state to keep fighting against him, kid or not, and she can only hope that he's actually willing to back down even while stepping back. At hearing Mairead's screaming, however, the martial artist's body starts moving on instinct once again.

Drawing out her ki again, Kazuko focuses it into her limbs again to dash towards the teenager next, trying to ignore the blood gathering in her mouth from putting her body through even more stress. Her eyes keep darting from Rock to Nima to Mantigora and Skuzzler, trying to gauge the biggest threat even while helping Mairead up with Staren.

"W... We're going. Don't follow us!" She hacks out another bloody cough and nearly drops onto her knees, only barely managing to get back up and keep moving with Mairead and the others through willpower alone.
Mairead Sandilands     Mairead is no longer being shocked/tasered/electrocuted and is still twiching as she is lifted up and looks somewhat into Nima's eyes. Only to start having trouble breathing and her arms are not working that well as she gags and then is dropped into a pile on the floor. Mairead just lays there, hurting and gasping for air as she is lifted up and held by both Mazuko and Staren and she says nothing. But she is still twitching from the Force Lightning and is gonna be in medical for a while as she heals.....
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa Was not expecting to see things get like this but she's glad to see STaren has not gone crunch.

<<Strike two come on it's time to keep moving. Strike units, the Bluenose will be getting us out of here. Slipbolt get us out of here.>>

The small vessle will start to lock on to Kotone and Staren. Also Miread and KAzuko id they don't fight it and thankfully he's got medical supplies on board.
