Alden      After a rather impressive fight against alien bugs, and seeing that Gaonoir was curious about something, he invited the fellow digimon to the place he called 'home', since he saw no harm in simply talking or even demonstrating stuff!.

"Well, I come from a different digital world, i got separated from my Tamer due to a rather... nasty thing happening back home."
Gaonoir Which was pretty accurate. Sure, some of the other digimon might not like him very much right now, but that was a minor issue. The longer he had stayed in the multiverse, the more he had realized it was only the real threats he had to worry about. So for now most of his previous 'enemies' were off the proverbial radar.

"Nice spot." Once he touchs to the ground Gaonoir's form distorts briefly, and then he's back to his initial form. "So you use to work with a human, then?" He's heard 'tamer' come up enough times to reconize the term even if its not in use much where he's from.
Alden      Alden relaxes just a bit when Gaonoir returns to a smaller form, smiling and wagging his lizardish tail in a canine fashion, "All the credit goes to Ainsley, she decided to take me in until I found a good spot, I did get some meat plants from another digimon, if you want some." he explains, moving a bit closer, apparently not familiar with Gaomon.

"Yeah!." he says, smiling for a moment, "He was rather nice... well, is, hope he is ok." he mumbles, "He is the reason I have my D-Arc and digimon cards." he says, pointing to the odd handheld device he was holding in a belt, and a box with what seem normal trading card game cards next to it.
Gaonoir "Meat plants..." Gaonoir tilts his head up a bit, and sure enough he can smell them nearby. With what Alden says he puts one and one together, but just smirks lazily at it. "You have crossed others from my Digital World then." But that is that, really.

He's much more curious in the other things Alden has. Since they're now about the same size he has to squat down a little to look at the D-Arc. "And those are how you made that replica of the Gauru Cannon appear?"
Alden      Alden tilts his head, "Not sure if they are from your world... is Golden from there?" he asks curiously,a nd when the Gaomon crouches, he reaches for the item, detaching the device from his belt. It shows a status screen with a tiny sprite that might be a gabumon, a group of buttons, and a card reading slot.
$r      "Yeah, I am... not sure of the specifics, but with this and the cards, I can affect my code for a bit, it is... tiring, but can do lots of cool stuff." he explains. "Like reproduce items from other digimon... if I have the cards, or even attacks." he says. "Like this!.".

He reaches for the card box and finds what he wanted, before sliding it through the reader, "Digi modify! Toy Agumon!". There... does not seem to be any visible effect, until the gabumon turns aside, facing one large crystal and opens his muzzle, "Toy flame!". Rather than the normal blue flames what looks like... a piece of plastic shaped like a flat fireball emerges from his mouth, flying swiftly and hitting the crystal with a small burst of flame.
Gaonoir Gaonoir shrugs his shoulders a little. "It's impossible to know just via names. Other digital worlds may have them too." Having only seen Golden maybe twice, he can't be certain if it is the same gold colored -Mamemon or not.

Then he raises both eyebrows at this display, to the point they for a moment disappear under his headband. Not at the attack itself, but the way in which it was generated. "I have never seen a digimon able to do that, other than ones that keep certain attacks through multiple forms."
Alden      "A mamemon, gold colored." he tries, before he smiles, "It can be useful." he says with a rumble, showing him the cards, "But also drains a lot of energy, and they don't last long.". He tries a different card, Wargreymon, and the brave shield. It appears!, but Alden kind of forgot how big the large hexagonal thing was, "Making things appear is a bit easier, but I still have to be able to use them, and the cannon was really tiring... and not quite as strong as the real thing... but then again, Omnimon is far stronger than Weregarurumon." he explains, even as he proped up the shield.
Gaonoir "You mean Omegamon," Gaonoir corrects. Or at least corrects from his point of view. That world tends to use a lot of the Japanese names. It's as close to culture confusion between Digital worlds you can get. "Wait, hold on a moment." Gaonoir takes a step away and winds back with one gloved paw. It cracks with a big of shadowy energy before he swings it at the shield.

"Shadow Upp--OOW!"

And despite the yell stands there for a moment, fist comically clenched against the shield. Then he yanks it back, shaking the paw a few times. "It's still pretty dang tough for an approximation."
Alden Alden tilts his head, but nods, barely realizing what was going to happen and trying to shift his stance to resist the hit. He looks away as the energized punch comes, grunting as he is pushed back some, while the shield stands the attack, the momentun and such still affect him. "Yeah, I know they are pretty tough, but I never had a chance to test how they compare with the real thing."
Gaonoir "I've seen the real thing used. Naturally this one isn't as tough, but it's still solid enough to take a few hits." Gaonoir flexes and unflexes his gloved paw a few times. That did sting on his end too. "But you doubt the resources you have at hand. Especially something as useful as that."
Alden Alden looks at the gloved paw, "Are you ok?" he asks softly, letting go of the shield that falls down with a heavy 'thud', "I'm trying to learn how to use this properly... get stronger, I don't have that much experience using them."
Gaonoir Gaonoir laughs a bit. "I'm fine. I wasn't expecting it to -feel- so hard as the real thing, but it proved me wrong."
Alden Alden grins and nods in relief, the shield vanishing in a cloud of voxels as he loses concentration, "You are pretty strong." he says, moving closer again, "The device also helps me evolve... I can go as far as my Mega level, but... I can't really use the D-Arc without hands, unless someone helps... and I am still not used to that form, it is really draining."
Gaonoir Gaonoir squints at Alden, clearly looking confused again. "Mega level?" What is this, another side evolution line? Or just more term confusion across alternate realities. Oh well. "I can only get to Perfect, the one I was using earlier... But my code is unusual and I'm a fair bit more powerful than your typical digimon of that level."
Alden Alden blinks and rubs his chin, "I think it is also called Ultimate on some places." he says, tilting his head a bit, "It's the stage after the one I was using on battle" he explains, "You did seem quite a bit stronger than me... normally in my world the stages are rookie, champion, ultimate and mega. I am a rookie stage right now, and I assume you are." Alden is a bit amused, but thinks confusion is not that useful unless they are in some comedy sketch.
Gaonoir Gaonoir rubs his face with one palm. "Guess I shouldn't be too surprised other versions of our worlds would use different terms. Okay, yeah, going by that, I'd also be 'Rookie' right now. Child, Adult, Perfect, Ultimate. Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, Mega. So your 'Mega' stage would be Metalgarurumon?" At the remark about being stronger he just shrugs his shoulders a bit. "I've got plenty of experience too." He opts not to mention that includes being trained by some of the Royal Knights since mentioning that can freak out a lot of digimon, and he's trying to not being scary this time.
Alden Alden nods, "Yeah, that's my strongest form." he says, "I need to train so I can resist being on a higher form longer, it is a bit annoying to get tired and reverting so soon." he muses, "I want to be stronger, so I can go back home and help the Sovereigns... hmm... the leaders of my digital world to destroy the D-Reaper." he says. "Do you have any hints for someone trying to get stronger?"
Gaonoir "Ya already got the idea. Experience is the best way. It takes time to learn to hold a form like that, but it's possible. I only shift back because this form is better for conserving energy until I need it." Of course he's got some extra code tweaking on his side, but that's not important. "I've never hit my final stage yet... but probably because I've never -needed- it either."
Alden Alden nods a few times and smiles, he is even tempted to pat the shoulder of the dark Gaomon, but decides not to test his luck, at least he is glad that Gaonoir is friendly enough. "Yeah, I can understand that." he says softly, "Maybe you will if you ever get into a situation that actually needs it." he says with a grin. "What is your... adult stage? I think that is the term, I am just curious."
Gaonoir In response there's a brief swell of shadows around the canid as he steps back, and a moment afterwards there's a giant bear-like husky looming over Alden. Because Gaonoir figured it was just easier to demonstrate. Or to show off how much control he has over going between his forms. "You mean this one?"
Alden Alden let's out a surprised chirp at the sudden change, his eyes opening wide as he admires teh large 'husky' even the 'gloves' on the forepaws. One of his hands raise, as if tempted to pet the fluffy canine, "Yep!, that's rather nice!" he says, eyes going all over to the curled tail. If allowed, he pets the rather fluffy looking neckruff, before taking a few steps back, reaching for another card on the box. "Due to an incident... my data is somewhat corrupted, evolving on my own is very hard, so I prefer to use teh cards when possible." he explains, before slashing another one, "Digi modify, evolution chip!".

There is a flash of light, before another sizable canineish monster appears, bearing a striking resemblance to the pelt the Gabumon was wearing, if only much bigger. "This is mine."
Gaonoir Gaonoir just.. gives Alden a weird look as the smaller digimon fluffs his ruff. It's mostly confusion, he's too use to people and other digimon running -away- when they see a giant dog-bear-wolf. Except for Yang, but her threatening to punch him was just because it was a weird bit similar to monsters from her world.

By the time Alden has also evolved he's gotten over it. "Yeah, I figured it was a Garurumon.... Well, keep working on it and maybe you won't need the card all the time, right?"
Alden Alden grins a bit at the confusion, "I think you look... kind of cute, well, cuter than I do as a garurumon." he says, chuckling softly, "Sorry for reaching and fluffing your fur without permission, if it helps, it's nice and soft." he says with a grin, before he sits on his haunches. "Sometimes I wonder if I turn into this due to the fur I always wear, I mean, wonder what might happen if I did not have it on me when I use the card." he muses. The encouragement makes him wag that long rope he calls a tail, "Yeah, I'd like that."
Gaonoir Gaonoir chuffs softly. "Appearances are rarely a clear indicator with our kind," he replies rather flatly. Call him cute all you want, he knows how much of a monster he can be on the inside. "Besides, cute doesn't really matter when I can do -this-."

One of the ends of his long scarf abrupt whips past his head and snaps a chunk off one of the meat plants with it's claw-like tassles, then snags the chunk and whips back with it. Gao tosses the chunk in his mouth and the scarf coils back behind him like it never moved. "Mfff. Almost forgot how tasty meat plants are."
Alden Alden tilts his head a bit as he hears that, ears splaying a bit as he wonders a bit about Gao to feel... that way about himself. The display of power with the scarf makes him jump back with a startled yipe, before realizing what happened, smiling, "You can have a bit more if you want." he says with a chuckle, "And I still argue you look cute, and soft, even if you are dangerous." he says casually, moving to the meat plant to try to snag a chunk for himself.
Gaonoir "Yeah, whatever." The truth of it being that Gaonoir just doesn't have a frame of reference. He was essentially 'raised' to be a soldier and fighter. With the little display done, he once again shifts back to his basic form. Easier on the energy reserves, like he said. "Just as people don't get the wrong idea because of it."
Alden Alden nods a few times, "I don't think they will." he reassures him, chewing on a bit of meat, and remaining on his garurumon form for a bit longer, "I am glad we spent a while to talk, hope we can talk again in the future, you seem like a good digimon." he wruffs with what might be a smile in his muzzle.
