Kazimir Volkov The Mirror Forest is still as alien and foreboding as ever. The twisted nature of the ever-expansive world seems to resonante deeply with people in various ways, stirring the mind to wander and conjure imagery that may not be strictly there.

Despite this, Kazimir Volkov is sitting near the pool of the entry clearing, his watch in his hand as he stares into the distance. Every so often, his hand reflexively pushes the release on the watch, then his thumb swings over to close it.

Click, Click. Click, Click.

The Pig can be heard faintly snuffling in the distance, but it hasn't approached the group, apparently busy rooting for something to eat instead.
Damita Stark      Damita still hasn't figured out how to enter the Mirror Forest without tripping over something yet. Archery tends to be a very stand still and shoot sort of situation. Her mirror of choice, a make-up compact, is also no good, so crawl through a bathroom window she must, and there's a audible thud as she hits the ground upoin her entrance.

After a few seconds, she pushes herself up to her feet, wincing as she dusts off shards of mirror from her gloves, which are both archery gloves and keep her from slicing her hands to ribbons in this bloody stupid forest gloves.

"Oh... er. Hello." She says, nodding at Kazimir.
Kazimir Volkov The thud causes Kazimir to look up. "Oh. It is you." He says without any real indication one way or the other how he feels about it. "We met you at the mall. I guess you being here does clear that stupidity up." He mutters for a moment, and then stands, turning to the woman. "So, why do you come here? This place is not safe."
Damita Stark      "I watch." Damita says, quietly. "That way if someone else ends up here, if they don't get a Persona, they don't end up dead." She shudders a little, going pale around the smudged red of her cheeks. "If it's dangerous, why are you here."
Kazimir Volkov "Same reason." Kazimir replies. "This place does not feel right. It should not be here." Click, click. He looks away from Damita and shrugs. "Also, I know I can fight. You are here, so I assume you can also fight."
Damita Stark      "Not very well, but yes." She lifts her hand to her back, where the tip of her bow can be seen, presumably with a quiver. "Heal, too, thanks to the Bone Princess, which I'm not sure is odd or not. Then again, I've never seen any of you fight, so..." Damita shrugs.
Kazimir Volkov "Then I guess we should be working together." Kazimir says simply. "We do not have time for silly games, people have been dying here." He glances back to Damita. "Do you have phone?"
Damita Stark      "Yup." She pulls her phone out of the lone pocket that female pants have that still seems slightly impossible to fit larger than a thimble into. Damita lifts an eyebrow at him. "Why?"
Kazimir Volkov Kazimir pulls out his own phone. It's plain and lacking in a lot of bells and whistles but it looks like it could probably take a hammer without breaking. He presses a couple buttons and tosses it over to her. "Copy info into your phone. This will give you link to the rest of us. We are exploring the forest. Kind of investigation club, like Scooby Doo but with pig instead of dog." He shrugs, apparently just taking it in stride. "August is the one who always wants to eat and is getting in trouble." He says. "Anyway, we have clubhouse. It will make things easier for you. You will also meet unusual people from outside our world. You saw some of them already. There are more. They are also interested in the forest."
Damita Stark      Damita balances his phone in the crook of her arm as her eyes take in the information, copying it down into hers. She even doublechecks her stuff before tossing him back his phone. She then gives him a small smile, half-wry and more amused. "Sounds about right for Kohler. Yeah, I met them. They're alllll weird. This is weird."
Kazimir Volkov Kaz grabs his phone out of the air and puts it away. "You will be seeing many weird things. I have not been doing much yet. apparently, the others managed to save someone from the Forest. You might want to ask them about it as well since you can use the group communications now." He shrugs.

"Either way, do you have questions? I will answer what I can."
Damita Stark      "Mmm. That answers a worry that there were only two options: persona or death, for me. It also tells me that we have to be on our toes, because otherwise there are two options..." Kind of hard, being the saviors of the world. "So, like, that multiverse, how many worlds are there? Too many to count? I have the intro guide, but... dang, things are weird out there." Damita, you're rambling. Shut up.
Kazimir Volkov "It does not matter. There are enough." Kazimir replies. "The only thing that matters is if they are helping us or hurting us." Boy is he a bucket of fun. "Keeping in touch with the others will help us all prevent more people being lost."
Damita Stark      "... right." Damita says, awkwardly. "I... er... look, is there anything else I can do or... whatever? I just... I just want to help." She finishes lamely. Where is someone else. Oh god help them.
Kazimir Volkov "You should go to the clubhouse. We will be organizing another larger trip here soon. Maybe someone will end up in the mirror. We do not know. One or the other will happen." Kazimir does not seem to notice or care about the awkwardness. "In the meantime, practice with your Persona. Keep your archery skills up. Learn what you can."
Damita Stark      "Right, I'll notice where it is." There's a pause, before Damita asks, only slightly a smart ass, "Hard to practice healing without anyone else to practice it on."
Kazimir Volkov "You will get plenty of practice. The Ogre will make sure of that." Kazimir replies without missing a beat. "So what do you think?" He gestures to the Forest. "About this place. It seems safe in this clearing. The pig stays here too."
Damita Stark      "It is safe here. It is probably the only place that is safe in here, and even then, that is risky." She looks around for the pig with a sigh. "But still... we shouldn't relax our security just because of that."
Kazimir Volkov The pig snuffles around some more, visible near one of the paths as it prances round, piglike. Kazimir seems to watch it, but doesn't approach. "What security can we have?" Kazimir asks Damita. "I do not think we can do much to this area."
Damita Stark      "I dunno. Sharp stakes pointed out? I know our phones work even though we have no connection. Battery operated video cameras? Sandbags? A moat?" Damita shrugs. "Nothing's stopping us from trying to keep this a safe zone."
Kazimir Volkov Kazimir shrugs at that. "It might work. I was too busy working on fixing the cabin. Cameras do not work, though. We can try the other things later." He turns and walks over towards the pool. "Come, let us get out of here for now before something happens. We can discuss on the phone and at the clubhouse."
Damita Stark      "Oh, alright." Damita says with a sigh, following Kazimir. No business like pool business, and she didn't even bring her bikini.
