Dorian Pavus     Dorian had been investigating the odd 'meshing' phenomenon that was present in the BitBucket. It was a strange place where the real world seemed to be overlayed by another, mirror world. Something like he always imagined the Fade to be. But it seemed to get even more prevalent as he traveled further in. And Dorian was worried that this was harmful!

So he went further in, ending up at the Cyber Core. And here it looks like the effect seems to be even more prevalent. So much so that he can't even really SEE what he registers as the 'real world'. He frowns, looking at the area, crouching to examine a digital rock it's really hard to tell-- how much here is 'real' and how much is digital?
Tomoe Tomoe doesn't come this way often but it's a strange place the Salamander woman lookks to be just making on her way from the depths of the core to return to reality as it were. She was not expecting to people she'd know at all from it either way the over six foot tall woman was making good time and just about to take flight, Dorian would however be able to spot her and catch up to her with little trouble. She doesn't seem to be in a hurry.
Dorian Pavus     Dorian is indeed easily able to see the six foot tall Salamander woman as she comes in sight. That is a very tall human female. Wait no... pointed ears. Elf? Or... maybe something else. Because suddenly there is a pair of wings appearing on her back! All right no, that is nothing he's ever seen before.

However, Dorian heads in her direction. "Pardon me," he asks. "But might I ask you if you are a denizen of this place? I'm concerned with this 'bleeding' effect that seems to be taking over the mortal world, and what effect it might have."
Tomoe Tomoe pauses for a moment as she tilts her head at Dorian.

"You could say IU'm kinda of and really why are you worried about it? This is where the cybercore and material worlds meet. I don't know how it works it just does, alien world's exist here many spawned from the computer systems of various world or were worlds like that on their own. Are you all right and most of the people here are just as mortal as anyone else."
Dorian Pavus     Dorian nods. "Yes, I'm fine." He seems nonplussed by the question. "I wondered if it was normal. You see, when a world superimposes itself on another, that can lead to trouble. I was concerned that such would be happening here. But, if you say it's normal..." Pause. "Are there any ill effects from it?"

And also... Dorian pauses again, to look Tomoe over. "And might I ask after your species? I've never seen a being so large with wings. I thought at first you might have been an elf, but that doesn't seem quite right."
Tomoe Tomoe says "I doesn't spread too much from here, it seems worlds suited ot the region unify here and that's about all that I know of it."

She laughs for a moment at being mistaken for an elf and banishe her red energy like wings and sht tilst her head a little bit more.

"Not quite more a fairy of anyhing a Salamander well was but that's a long story there that wouldn't be that interesting to you I suspect."
Dorian Pavus     "Yes, I thought you were a big tall for an elf," Dorian agrees. Though when she says the story wouldn't be interesting, he tilts his head. "Oh? What makes you say that?" he inquires. "Learning about this place my world has found itself is rather important, I'd think." He smirks.
Tomoe Tomoe says "It's not the most interesing to thing I'd say to some people is all. My world is to put it strangley connected to this place for some. You might call we dreamed of fantatic worlds with magic, monsters and other things as a way to escape our dreasy lives and most of the time it's harmless but in one case it turned out to be lethal because of one twisted man's ambitions."
Dorian Pavus     Dorian listens intently, crossing his arms over his midriff and raising one hand to his chin thoughtfully. "A dream, you say?" he muses. "It has something to do with this... cyberspace, then? I've noticed this 'cyber' world seems to be bleeding in... that's what I was concerned about, you see. What is this 'cyber' world?" Pause. "Oh. Yes."

He pulls out a phone from his pocket. A regular, normal, modern, Earthlike smartphone. "Since it seems to have something to do with bits of technology, I should note that I'm learned enough with technology to properly work this." He puts the phone away. "So, not to worry if it seems over my head. I'll try to understand it."
Tomoe Tomoe Says "The best way to descibe it yes, well there's some bleed along the boearder but it's never really spread much in my time in the multiverse. I can see why you might be concerned about it but you seem to be looking into it and ah your more travels then I thought."

She notes seeing the phone and humms for a moment.

"It was a game at first a full perception game that for all intent you were in another world the equipment used to play over rode all seneory input to your brain. The creator of this who had rleased the first VRMMORPG called sword art online had got it into his head to make his world real, by having actual people trapped in it. Every bit of hardware had a hidden trap that would fry the victem's brain if they died in the game. He stated to everyone the only way out? Was to clear it, but one's life was on the line to do so. On the other hand our physical bodies would wither away and die eventually if we did nothing."
Dorian Pavus     Dorian nods. "I'd hoped it wasn't harmful, and wasn't simply spreading more slowly than could be noticed," he explains. "Now that I know it's not, I'm satisfied enough to leave it be." Then Tomoe starts explaining, and he goes back to listening intently. "Someone... bound people inside a game just to be able to say he created a world? Are you still trapped?"

It does occur to him that the woman he's looking at isn't actually 'here', if that's the case. "So... you're some sort of... projection of some kind? A manifestation of yourself, while your physical body is elsewhere?" Seems like he can assign similar mechanics to it, in his head.
Tomoe Tomoe says "No that's ended a long time ago, just some of us found we could walk right out of the cyber core like this. There are other games that exist now based off it however another company cleaned out the boobt trap in the system to be hgonest. Yes you could say that. Not saying where my body is no offence."
Dorian Pavus     Dorian shakes his head, raising his hands as if to show they're empty. "Oh no, I wasn't going to ask," he confirms. "That would be foolish information to give out or ask for." Also information he'd have no need of. "Though it is a relief you're not trapped inside it anymore," he adds. A moment of thought sees him returning that hand to his chin in thought. "Is this what you look like? How different is this projection of you?"
Tomoe Tomoe says "... If you get down to it I'm human, as for how much one looks like their protection that's entirely up to them." She grins impishly and doesn't seem intent to answer anymore than that. "The games are safe now if your curious it generally works on humans and like spicies. Others might have to find a work around but they exist."
Dorian Pavus     Dorian nods. "That's what I was wondering about, yes," he confirms. "I wasn't trying to figure out how to track you down, no." With a proud tone to his voice, he puts a hand to his chest, draws himself up proudly, and notes, "I'm not THAT sort of man." He does pause after a moment and ask, "How does this work, this game? Can everyone in it fly?"
Tomoe Tomoe says "In the one known as ALO, yes, some can do it without an controller others need a bit of help. The gear's fairly easy to buy you should just look up Alfheim onling and you should be able to get all the information you'd need to be honest if your curious about playing I'd be happy to help. Just note this is just a game."
Dorian Pavus     Dorian nods. "That's... actually a relief," he replies. "It would be learning whole new set of world-rules, and knowing that I won't die permanently should I slip up is comforting. that makes me more apt to experiment, and thus learn more." He smiles. "But yes, I will indeed look into this game. 'Alfheim Online'? Sounds a bit like 'elf'." Yeah. That isn't a big intuitive leap, no.
