Owner Pose
Ainsley     Ainsley is seated at the base of one of the huge crystals jutting out of the ground in the Crystal Valley. She has a picnic blanket laid out underneath her. She also has a basket, and a few books with her. The lizard woman seems relaxed during this warm early morning. Well, not actually warm, but it's pleasant near the crystal at the very least. Seems the crystal's emitting some kind of heat into the area around it. A fire crystal? The reptile lady hums a little song to herself, and remains comfortably seated with her legs sprawled out in front of her. Occasionally her toes flex or wiggle, or her tail twitches.

She's reading a large hardback book.
Alden Alden stumbles around, looking like he had seen better days, his pelt is dusty, and he has some minor scratches visible all over him. For the most part he remains quiet, clutching onto an odd handheld device in one hand. Over his shoulder, he had a belt, which had a deck box attached. He had arrived only moments ago and was trying to figure out just where that portal took him, "This isn't the digiworld... or the human world... where am I?" he mumbles sofly. His attention goes to the crystals soon enough and approaches them, not quite noticing the lizard in a picnic just yet, instead reaching to poke the warm emiting crystaline formation, and basks in the heat emanating from it.
Ainsley     Ainsley hears someone approach. She carefully closes her book, and gets up to a stand. She's silent while she does this. She steps around the crystal, and peers at Alden, her bright blue eyes focusing on the unusual being. She looks at his appearance, the belt, the device in his hand... And then she speaks up in her gentle tone of voice. "Hello. My name is Ainsley. Can I help you with anything...?" She steps out from behind the crystal and clasps her hands in front of her, her tail swaying behind her and her feet... not touching the ground?

She's hovering an inch or two off the ground. The early morning dew is probably why she's doing that, the grass is a little damp. She makes motions like she's walking or standing, though, so it's not as obvious.
Alden Alden squeaks and almost drops the digivice as he hears the voice. The digimon somehow 'flicks' the ears on the head portion of his cloak and turns around, "Hi!, I am a bit lost." he says, his expression shifting from a smile to one of slight confusion as he looks at the reptile in front of him. "Can you tell me where am I?" he says, realizing Ainsley was being friendly, his own tail twitching behind him. After a moment he walks closer, "Never seen a place like this." he says, before he chuckles, "Oh right, you can call me Alden." he says softly.
Ainsley     The surprise makes Ains smile a little warmer. She didn't want to startle him, so it amuses her that she did. She nods attentively at his answer, happy that he's open to chatting about it. And when he introduces himself, she says, "A pleasure to meet you." But in Spanish, with a little curtsey. "You are in the Crystal Valley, in this sector of the Multiverse. Here, the crystals emit many types of energy, though primarily it comes in the form of magical and spiritual energy. This one, for instance, has a fiery aura..." She rests her hand on the crystal. "It's very pleasant for someone that's cold-blooded, like I am."

"Come sit down. I have a feeling I have a lot to explain," she offers, beckoning with one of her hands while she turns to return to her picnic blanket.
Alden Alden blinks a bit at the spanish, tilting his head, clearly not familiar with the language but somehow understanding it!, but at least the explanation IS in a language he is more familiar with. He seems a bit confused at the mention of multiverse, "Multiverse?" he asks softly, "So there are other places besides the human world and the digital one?" he says softly. He reaches to touch the crystal, "It's very nice, there isn't anything like it where I come from." he says softly, "So there are ones that are cold?" he asks softly.
Ainsley     "There are crystals that are cold, that emit light, or electricity, there are crystals that sing... crystals that purify water, crystals that can be used to power machines... Crystals used as any kind of battery, crystals that can be used to amplify magic..." Ainsley lists them off on her fingers while she speaks, looking up at the huge fire crystal while she speaks. "Yes. You and your world are in the Multiverse now. You have experienced something called Unification. Your world is now connected to innumerable others through the Warp Gate network, which you likely used to reach this place."
Alden Alden opens his eyes wide and eyes at the crystal for several moments, leaning close to it to leech more heat, "That is amazing." he says looking all the way to the tip, before facing back at the reptile, "I really hope that what was attacking my home won't cross over to try to attack here." he says softly, shuddering, "That would be horrible." he mumbles. His thinking about any potential disaster is derailed when his stomach decides to growl loudly. "Do you know where I can get some food?." he asks softly, "I'd like to learn more about worlds, are there other versions of my home somewhere?" he says.
Ainsley     Ains moves over to her picnic basket and retrieves a sandwich she had wrapped up for herself. She unwraps it and hands it over to Alden. "Yes, there's probably a few similar worlds. You said the digital world? Are you a digimon? There are a few of those around, and you seem like you could be one of them. Maybe you could make some friends."
Alden Alden lets out a rather happy chirp as he is handed the food. He manages a soft thank you to Ains, before he places the D-arc down and wolfs down the sandwich, "Thanks, I was getting really hungry." he says, smiling happily, "That was really good." he adds. He goes silent at the mentino of other digital worlds, "Yes!, I am a Gabumon." he says softly, "I guess you are not a digimon, right?" he says, realizing it was obvious.
Ainsley     "Oh, no. I'm not a digimon," Ainsley answers, smiling at Alden patiently. "Let's see... There's... One, two... three, four... five active digimon in the sector. I haven't seen a couple of them in a little while, so I didn't count them. One of them, Beelzebumon, well. You don't want to meet him. He thrives on violence and almost nothing else." Then she rubs the top of her head, ruffling her feathers. "I have an empty guest room at my home. Would you like to stay there until you get your bearings here in the Multiverse?"
Alden Alden nods silently, trying his best to listen closely, and seems to get excited at teh mention of the active digimon. "I'd like to meet them!" he says happily, before he frowns and reaches to clutch on his D-arc at the mention of Beelzebumon, "That... that's terrible, a bad digimon is loose?" he says softly, "I hope they can stop him." he says while shaking his head. The offer for a room takes him completely by surprise, "Really?, that's really nice of you." he chirps happily, tail flicking a few times. "I will find a way to repay you."
Ainsley "For now, we'll worry about getting you comfortable and independant, alright? The Multiverse is a big place and you'll need some help figuring out how to live in it," Ainsley says, then she pats a spot on the picnic blanket, offering a spot for him to sit down. Then she picks up her book, seemingly prepared to start reading again, but now with someone to keep her company out here.
Alden Alden happily takes the offered spot, fiddling with the odd handheld, and checking on the cards he was carrying, mostly just passing the time. "I'm so glad I ran into you." he says, smiling and relaxing.
