Lute      Winter has come to the Orre Region, like it has to most of the rest of the Multiverse. It comes a bit differently to the warm desert region, though. while in many places throughout Orre it gets quite cold, it is quite warm in Lute's hometown of Phenac City. Instead of the nearly 100 fahrenheit it often reaches in the summer, it's a nice, comfortable 60 degrees or so. Enough that some people likely elect for pants instead of shorts, but not much cooler than that.

Lute himself is out in the front yard of his house. This being a desert, it's a grass free lawn. Rocks, soil, and sand, packed tightly, with various desert plants. He's playing with his I-Class Destroyer, Imima. She is chasing a stick as he throws it. Lute has offered Medusa a chance to come over and visit anytime she felt like. He has no expectations that the meeting will be today, though. Still, it's one of those things that he hopes to happen soon enough. But, since it could happen anytime, he's not going to be dressed and ready for it. Instead, he's just wearing his normal casual outfit.

Harp is in the front yard as well. She looks incredibly close to Lute. After all, she is basically him, but female. The main difference is she is significantly more feminine. A bit more curves, a decent figure. She lays on a lawnchair, taking some time for herself. She is wearing a pair of jeans cut into shorts, and a bikini top. It seems she's after some winter sunbathing right now. Her eyes are closed, her long brown hair is left loose, and she relaxes in the sun while occasionally watching Lute and Imima.
Medusa Gorgon     Perhaps Harp is the first person to notice something approaching from the sky.

A figure moving at somewhat fast speeds across the sky, but unlike any flying Pokemon that can be seen. And it's headed straight for the house, gliding silently through the air as it descends. Only once it's close enough and not backlit by the sun does it become clear it's a person on a broom. When it's only a few feet above the ground the person on the broom slips off, high heels no reason for the person to not land safely and steadily. Trust a witch like Medusa Gorgon to be agile and elegant as always.

"I do hope I haven't arrived at an inopportune time," she greets the two with a warm smile, amusement glimmering in her eyes. Lute she knows well enough, while she has only heard Harp speak on the radio. It's not like she has time to personally visit all the Confederates, mostly meeting them either at Ward 17 or out in the field.

But Medusa brushes off her black dress and her light white jacket, extending her right hand to Harp while her left hand is holding a bag that seems rather full. "I assume you must be Harp. It's a pleasure to meet you~"
Lute      Harp is, indeed, the first one to spot Medusa. She lifts her hand to block the sun from her eyes, and tries to make sure she isn't just seeing things. It's obviously not a Pokemon. But, as she gets closer, it's made a bit clearer who it is. Though Harp has yet to meet Medusa, she still recognizes her from reports. Harp sits up a little straighter, looking towards Lute. Surprised Lute hasn't noticed yet. Harp speaks, in a somewhat melodic but haughty tone. "Honey~. One of your girlfriends is here."

With Medusa's landing, Harp stands. She holds out her own hand, shaking Medusa's in return. It's a rather casual, light handshake that Harp gives. She crosses her arms in front of her, smiling at Medusa. She takes a moment to flick some of the hair out of her face, as introducing herself, "Mm, yes, I'm Harp. And I believe you are Medusa? It's a pleasure to meet you."

Lute is a bit slow to react, hearing Harp's announcement of Medusa's arrival, seeing Medusa and Harp shake hands. Lute smirks at the side of his lip, glad to see her. He walks over towards Medusa as well. He sees the bag, blinking a little. For now, he'll brush it aside. Instead, he wraps an arm around Medusa's waist, and leans in for a kiss upon her lips. The kiss is soft, and brief. He stays close to Medusa, the arm still wrapped around her for now. "Now is as fine as anytime. I did tell you whenever, after all."

Imima, for her part, looks towards Medusa. The ship-spirit looks her over for a moment, before starting to just play on her own. The Abyssal ship knows when to leave her master alone for a bit.
Medusa Gorgon     "Indeed I am. There aren't too many witches in the Confederacy, now is there~?" she half-teases the other woman, shaking her hand, her own grip a bit more firm. "Lute invited me over, and I thought I would bring some Christmas presents over."

And there is Lute. As the Pokemon trainer wraps his arm around her waist the serpentine witch turns her face towards him, giving him a soft smile as he leans in close, and she tilts her head into the kiss, responding. His comment earns a slightly amused chuckle, and Medusa reaches up to pat his cheek with her free hand. "Sundays are meant to be days off, after all," she points out. It seems like she isn't paying attention to Imima. "Shall we go inside? I do have some treats for you as part of your presents."
Lute      Harp nods a little at the comment, shrugging, "There have been a number of witches. But. I recognize you from reports. Besides... Lute was rather heartbroken when you died. I'm quite glad that you are back, even if just for his sake." Harp glances at the bag of presents as well, and glances to Lute. "...Lute, you should know better, offer to take the bag."

Lute blinks a little at Harp's words, then immediately looks towards the bag. "--Uh yeah. Can I carry that for you?" A smile is given, awkwardly. Lute, though getting better, is still Lute. There are still a number of things he misses. So, if Medusa accepts, he will carry the bag inside.

Harp, meanwhile, moves to open the door. The inside of the house is rather pleasant. Simple tan carpet, white walls. A table, with a number of sofas around it. A TV is in the corner ofhte room, wall mounted. Near it, a small sized Christmas Tree. The dining room is adjacent to the living room, and a hallway moves from the living room towards the bedrooms and kitchens, assumedly. There is also a staircase leading downwards, towards a basement.

"Make yourself at home," Harp insists.
Medusa Gorgon     "I do like to consider myself different from most other witches," Medusa clarifies with a light laughter. And yes, she is well aware Lute didn't take her demise well. If he had taken it well he wouldn't have duelled D, now would he? "While most of the Confederacy did seem to miss me, Lute was among those who seemed to take my murder the most personal." When Harp chides Lute for not offering to take the bag the witch arches an eyebrow, merely offering the Pokemon trainer a smile at first before she does indeed hand the bag over. "Thank you~" The bag isn't particularly heavy when Lute takes it, only weighing some pounds. As always Medusa doesn't seem offended by the fact that he forgot those little manners, but then again, it's rather rare for Medusa to get visibly angry.

Inside they go, and Medusa follows while she looks around, inspecting the home. "It's rather quaint," she offers to Harp with a nod. "And thank you. Lute dear, would you bring the bag to the kitchen and boil some water for me?" she requests, reaching up to slip off her jacket. And perhaps Lute will be pleased to see that Medusa is wearing one of the gifts that he got her for Christmas, as her arms are adorned in black jewellery.
Lute      Lute blushes a little bit at the comment. He did take it incredibly personally. He felt partially responsible for it. But... Now is not the time to linger on that. Instead, he walks inside, following after Medusa. He nods a little at the request, moving to place the bags on the kitchen table. And then, a glance towards Medusa. A wide smile across his face. He looks towards the jewelry, incredibly glad to see it upon her. "I'll get the water boiling~." He heads to the sink, fills the kettle, and sets it on.

Harp, meanwhile, takes a seat upon the couch. She isn't bothering to change out of her current getup. Sure, it's not the most modest thing, and it's something that she would normally switch out of with guests present. But, it's meant to send a signal: Harp feels comfortable with Medusa here. She relaxes on the couch, looking towards Medusa, smiling pleasantly, "It was Lute's home before he unified. His parent's home, at a point. It's small, but has a decent sized basement. And... Eventually, we look to make a Pokemon Ranch. Lute is still gathering the funds for it, but soon enough, we'll start up that project."

A glance is given to the kitchen. Harp makes sure Lute isn't within range. He leans forward, looking towards Medusa, whispering, "...I... I ask this of the other women on occasion, too, so don't take offense. But. What do you see in my husband? Lute... really doesn't seem like your type."
Medusa Gorgon     For now Medusa allows Lute to fix things in the kitchen, taking the time to wander about the living room to study whatever knick knacks that decorates the place. Harp's wardrobe isn't something that seems to concern the witch, as she too looks rather relaxed. "I see... it's a nice place. Though I can imagine getting a larger place would be decent for when you expand to having a ranch. It will require a lot of equipment." Pokemon isn't something she knows too much about, nor is it a field she has too much interest in. There are easier and better ways for her to attain her goals, after all.

If Medusa does take offence at the question, she hides it rather well. Her eyes are still on one of the paintings on the walls, studying it as her arms are resting across her chest. "Once you get to a certain age you learn to look for other qualities in men besides what might be obvious," she responds with a knowing smile, turning her head to smile at Harp. "Lute is, despite his flaws, a man of conviction and drive."

That's a simple way of explaining it anyway.

The witch raises her voice, speaking up so Lute can hear her. "Feel free to open the gifts now. Some of them shouldn't wait until Christmas." Inside the bag there are several carefully wrapped presents, some of them rattling when shaken. Some smaller ones, though there is a much larger one.
Lute      Harp nods, leaning back against the couch. From the look on her face, Medusa's answer is susceptible. She is one of the ones who realizes most how easy it is to manipulate Lute. She worries for him. But, conviction and drive? That's something that she sees in Lute, herself. She smiles, closing her eyes for a moment, before looking forward and speaking again, "Well. That's as good an answer as any."

It's at this point that Lute walks to the table, hearing the offer to open the presents. He smirks, looking towards Medusa, "Ah, thanks~. I'm one of the impatient types. So... In we go!" He at least opens the smaller presents first. After that, he moves onto the larger one. Yes, he's impatient, but he still knows about saving the biggest for last.

Harp comments on the ranch a bit more, though, "It'll take a lot of equipment. We need to figure out a water tank for Mr. Crabs. It's sort of hard to house an eighty meter Kaiju." A pause. "...But even I find him adorable."
Medusa Gorgon     Honesty is something that doesn't seem to fit too well with the deceptive witch, the one who had the Confederacy believe she was merely a regular nurse for over half a year. Then again, she does seem to not lie. She... just avoids telling the complete truth most of the time, keeping her most important work hidden behind her other tasks that she does to help the Confederacy.

An amused chuckle leaves Medusa when Lute brings up that he is in fact impatient. "You should do well to learn some restraint then. I'm certain your wife could help discipline you there." No, Medusa isn't known for being the kind of person who rushes. At the moment she looks rather relaxed, not immediately heading over to the kitchen to follow Lute. Instead he will have some time to open the smaller gifts, which seems to be mostly small medicine bottles, several types of what appears to be rare medication, both creams and pills. On each bottle there is a description of what the medication is to be used for, as well as correct dosages. But not just medicine, it appears. There are also some herbal teas that smell absolutely exquisite, not to mention expensive. But upon inspection it seems these tea types are medicinal too. Pain killers, sleep medicine, relaxants, tea to help on digestion... that's just some of them. And it also seems like there are several small bottles with what appears to be medicine for Pokemon. The largest box contains...

    Homemade cookies.

"I can imagine it's a lot of work taking care for such a large creature," Medusa nods, a pensive look on her face. "Keeping him fed must cost you a fortune."
Lute      Lute looks through the various gifts with awe. The medicine is, in fact, rather useful. It's useful in so many ways. Even a number of the medicines used for humans can be used for Pokemon as well, and even without that, he has a bad habit of getting injured. Some of these might be able to save his life, in a pinch. He takes a moment with each of the medicines to sort them out. And, similarly, he sorts out the teas.

But, the homemade cookies take him by surprise the most. He knows how much effort baking can be. And with this many cookies, he is left in a bit of awe. He takes one of the cookies, and starts chewing on it. He smiles pleasantly, looking towards Medusa.

"...Thanks. You put a lot of work into this, didn't you?" He sighs happily, before walking over to her. He hugs her tightly around the waist from behind, still unaware of any manipulation that might be at hand.

Harp shrugs a bit with regards to Mr. Crabs, "He's expensive to feed, but since he is worth it, the Confederacy helps cover some of the costs. After all, keeping him fed earns them more than letting him starve."
Medusa Gorgon     It's rather easy for a systematic person like Medusa to make medication, especially considering how many centuries of experience she has. Some medicine she uses more than others, and some of them she has in smaller supply. The dosages for these medications are small, which might mean they are a bit more potent than the gifts she's handed out to the Union personnel this year. The cookies themselves are simple, and though they all vary in taste and are simple when it comes to decorations, they did not take too much work to bake. Lute's question causes Medusa to smile slightly. "If you think this is much work, you truly don't know how much work my rare medications require. Cookies might take time, but once you have learned how to get them right, it's easy~" she assures him as he hugs into her from behind, reaching a hand up to stroke his cheek.

"Letting Mister Crabs starve would probably be a bad idea, considering most beasts would be far more unpredictable. And if he were to die, taking care of the remains would not be an easy task..." Medusa muses in a macabre manner. "Where do you keep him? At the Citadel?"
