Princess Peach It's been a pretty long and exausting day, so Peach has spent most of the evening taking it easy. Currently she's sitting under a tree in front of her castle, eyes closed as she plays a soothing melody on a harp. It's late in the evening, with the stars starting to appear in the sky above the mushroom kingdom, and the air is cool, but not so cold as to be uncomfortable. If anyone were to approach, even Toad Town would be pretty quiet, and the castle itself is almost devoid of activity, with just a few sleepy Toad guards here and there. Speaking of toads though, Toad himself is laying in the grass a few feet from Peach, though it's hard to tell if he's sleeping or just enjoying the song Peach is playing with his eyes closed.
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa has had her own sort of long day, but one of rather less responsibility than, say, the princess of an entire kingdom might have. She still has the trials of a teenager to deal with, however, and sometimes it's nice to get away from those and visit a far-off kingdom full of magic and strange forms of life. What, don't all teens get to do that?

Granted, this also has the bonus of absolving the girl of 'going to bed on time', as she can just say that she was in another world, visiting foreign royalty. But her interest /is/ genuine, all that aside, and as she approaches the tree that Peach sits under, she's looking around with open curiosity. "Whoaaa. It's really pretty here. ...the trees and plants and stuff are a little weird, but in a really cool way."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa has had a long and fairly hard day with what happend in Sanary's native country. Even the local creepy relgion didn't get behind what was going on. Heck they pulled one of thier own priest out of the mess everyone else was in. People died but a lot were saved and she just needed to get somewhere, anywhere. How she'd encountered so much horror in her life she had no idea but here she was just trying to clear her head. The Cyborg had just by chance to hear the song and had been following it...
Princess Peach It was indeed what happened in Sanary's native country that accounts for most of why Peach is feeling a little worn out. She had to heal a bunch of people at once and that will take it's toll on pretty much anyone. Hearing footsteps in the grass, Peach opens her eyes and looks at Kazusa, smiling softly as she continues to play, picking up the tempo a bit. When the teen comments how pretty the area is, her smile grows to a grin. "It is certainly a place I am happy to call home, and I'm sure most of the kingdom's residents feel the same way. I'm Peach, princess of the Mushroom Kingdom." She politely introduces herself, though she doesn't quite notice Kotone yet.
Kazusa Ujikane     "Kazusa Ujikane," comes the cheerful greeting. She even withdraws her hand from her pocket to give a friendly wave. "I'm, uh. Not anything as fancy as that, but I am in third year middle school!" There's some pride to that, a quick adjustment of her glasses so as to glint in the moonlight. "Oh, and I have a set of cards I can use to turn into other people. Sort of. Not really. It's... kind of complicated." The hand finally goes back into her pocket, and she plops down next to Peach. "I didn't know princess really did stuff like playing harps under trees, though. That always kinda seemed like fairy-tale shorthand..."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa looks to Peach as she gets closer she listens for a moment.

"I hope your enjoying thing there Miss and hello again Princess. I admit you really flown in the face of what I'd expect a princess to be doing. If my nation's head of state was as hands on as you We'd be in a lot better of a situation."

She bows slightly to Peach and then looks back to Kazusa.
F "SOrry for not introducing myself. I'm Kotone Yamakawa."
Princess Peach      Peach turns slightly toward Kazusa as she comes to sit down next to her. "Well, that's quite a lot going on for a young girl I must say, maybe even more than I was juggling when I was your age." She muses with a smile. About this time Toad wakes up and looks at Kazusa, offering the girl a friendly wave, but otherwise letting Peach do the talking. "As for my playing out here, well why not? This way others can enjoy it, rather than if I play inside and then it's mostly just me that has any chance of hearing the music, and maybe I like fairy-tales." She says with a knowing wink as she continues to play.

Hearing Kotone's voice she turns to look at the cyborg woman, remembering her from earlier in the day. "Well thank you, I know it carries some danger, but I really like to get out in the streets and know the people of the kingdom, and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, even if it's a matter that doesn't directly effect my world, I'm happy to help if there is some way I can make a difference."
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa looks at Toad with wide eyes, before breaking into a broad grin and giving him a cheerful wave. A mushroom-man retainer! That's new and interesting. "Hey, I like fairy tales too! I just always figured 'sitting out under a tree playing an instrument to pass the time' was, like... some kind of short-hand for 'doing a bunch of stuff to pass the time and that's one of them'. ...I mean, I can play a video game or watch a show for twelve hours straight, but..."

Kotone gets a fairly curious look too. "Ooh. Are you some kind of, like... super fighting robot? You look like a robot! But a pretty one. And a cool one."
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa says "A ruler who becomes detached from what's going on ends up leading their nation to ruin in time. It happend to the neighbour nation to the south of mine when I was a child. I think your people are in good hands with an attuide like yours."

She aseem to be looking for a spot to sit down and join the others. She's also now getting good look at Toad and Kazusa as well she pauses for a moment.

"You could say I'm kinda like that."

Kotone is looking very embrassed at this point.
Princess Peach      "Well, in addition to passing the time, playing the harp helps me unwind after a long day, like today. It's something I can focus on to get my mind off it all. Video games are neat too, I'm sure some people play them for similar reasons at the end of the day sometimes." Peach replies to Kazusa, then, back to Kotone, she smiles. "Well thank you, I think most in the kingdom seem to agree, though I've heard whispers that a few here and there think I should be more agressive and form a large army to strike back at Bowser."
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa gives Peach a brief nod of agreement. "I think I get that, yeah. That's some of why I play video games. Or I'll sit and watch shows with Saber, or read comics, or... I guess I have a lot of ways to unwind, come to think of it." she realizes with a self-effacing chuckle. She sits and listens to Kotone and Peach for a moment, but then frowns. "Well, I'm glad you're not agreeing with them. Something like that almost never works out for the good guys. And besides, it's sorta like the bad guy wins, if he gets peaceful folks to arm up and go to war, isn't it?"
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa gives Kazusa ad look over for a moment better taking stock of her.

"I agree with you both Videogames can be fun but I'm kinda cheating now at some of them really. Still a goo way to have fun. I'm afraid I don't know much of the local poltical situation but picking a fight would only result in suffering for you and Bowsers people wouldn't it? I admit you got an interesting way of looking at the world. STrange though I feel a lot less powerless than I used to be before my world unified..."
Princess Peach Peach finally stops playing the harp and covers her mouth with her right hand as she yawns a bit, then folds her hands in her lap. "You're both right of course. We've been a peaceful kingdom for so long, I don't think going on the attack would ever be a good idea, and also now that we've unified and I'm allied with the Union, I feel much safer knowing that others are there to help if we are attacked again, and I myself have grown and become stronger as well. But it is getting late, I think we all should get some sleep." She says with a chuckle as she looks over at Toad, who's already fast asleep in the grass. Peach gently picks him up in her arms as she stands.
