Kotone Yamakawa Eariler

The Flotilla had got a call from Miho a little while ago she seemed very worried, she was not the chipper woman she'd been at her visit she'd asked for Kotone they'd talked for a moment and then the call had been terminated by Miho. Kotone had explained that something was up, Miho didn't want to talk over an open communication line about it and to meet up with her in portion of New Port. It was an old industrial district she also asked Kotone to bring backup she was very much worried.

Right now

Kotone had been very worried to the point she was up in a trench coat and had her optic cameo suit on under it, the coat was cheap if she had to ditch it she would. She's walking along trying to not make a large profile as she nears the meeting point and she's not come alone she's got a tac net up and speaks up.

<<I'm just about there keep an eye out for anything I don't like this I never heard Miho this scared.>>
Alexis Maaka     Given the message, Alexis has no time to waste with this. She also doesn't feel like risking going in underequipped, especially given how she's dressed. Her STALKER suit hides underneath a similar coat to Kotone's quite nicely, even as she wears it with the helmet unfolded and stored away. If someone close to Kotone is in trouble, something serious must be going down.

<<En route. I'm shadowing you as we speak.>> Alexis replies, true to her word she's been taking the high route while she follows Kotone's path, acting as her dark guardian angel tonight while leaping across rooftops and climbing away across scaffolding.
Rory White     <<You don't suppose it has anything to do with her visiting offworld, does it?>> Rory postulates over the instant messaging. She's quick to connect to the tac net, and beyond that... is perusing whatever local networks and wireless technology is available on another attention 'thread.' Connecting to the local internet is a big deal!

The Cognizant Odyssey is maintaining a geosynchronous (more or less) orbit if this world's space allows for such - defense satellites would mean that it is NOT, for instance.

Of course, she came through a warp gate instead of beaming down and is wearing her usual attire... kinda. It's the same actual Smart Clothes, but they're currently modified for different colors and shapes. The current mode matches Kotone's outfit, and Rory's vibrant blue hair is currently blonde instead.
Black Arachnia From what Black Arachnia recalls of that first meeting, Miho seemed like she had herself pretty well together; she didn't even particularly freak out at the Maximal spider herself. So whatever's actually got her *this* scared ... is probably a significant issue, maybe an actual threat.

And for all that Black Arachnia's preferred response to threats is 'stay as far away as possible while still helping friendlies where feasible,' she actually goes to meet Kotone and the others, pinging the cyborg on approach so she'll recognize the Maximal as an approaching friendly. She's doing her usual 'giant spider crossing rooftops' thing, too.
Corona Arclite     Kotone has come to help out several times on Brimsteel, so it's only proper to pay a friend back the helping hand, right? Though you've got to realize that it would take a bit more than a trenchcoat to, ah, make Corona blend in.

Which is probably why, instead, the foxlady used her grappler and climbing skill to get up on the edge of a rooftop, where she's staking out with her shotgun in hand. She's got a good view of streets from up here at least. It's just like guard duty on Loadstar's defense walls.
Starbound Flotilla     George and Seft are the only ones here today. This iteration of Earth is relatively accepting to humans and to very obviously non-human robots, but they don't want to draw a lot of attention, so the fishman and such are out. Meanwhile, somewhere near the Cognizant Odyssey, Albert and Moonfin man the SFS Abdication's sensor array, handling some monitoring. George looks like some random worker, and Seft has a less princessy outfit on, something that looks like industrial equipment for a low-grade worker robot.

Seft handles wireless chatter for the Starbounders here at the moment. <<Concerned. An unwillingness to speak over open communication implies an aversion to the risks of that. I am troubled by what may be monitoring her.>>
George, meanwhile, keeps a bit closer to Kotone. He's not the friendliest sort at his core, but Kotone is an ally, and she's helped the Flotilla, so he's sticking close, and he's got a gun keyed up on his Matter Manipulator main holster just in case. "Got a tele beacon on. We need to figure if she needs immediate extract or something. You know her well, right? Gimmie a sign if we need to go all alien abduction on her, but I'm ready to do it myself."
Alexis Maaka     Alexis shoots a look towards who she assumes is George, even though she's too far for it to matter. <What the shit, dude? That's her /sister.> She assumes George is hearing on comms, and she shakes her head in bafflement before she realizes what he meant. <...oh. Nevermind.> The cyborg begins to scan out in the distance, trying to feel out for additional hostiles.
Kotone Yamakawa <<I don't think so, Rory. I think her bosses would be happy with her doing off the clock research for her job.>>

She seems on edge though given this has a relative one she's closed so so on edge at this point. She'll spot a humanoid figure keeping to just under a ledge on the side of a building. She's very happy to have so many people who have skills at shadowing her. With the likes of Rory, Alexis, Black Arachina and Corona at her back. Also factoring George and Seft's help would give them a pretty good deal of backup.

Well those watching might pick up some pigs there might be something out there but it might also be the cops, or just normal security on the place. This place was a rapidly an advancing world but there might be something that was off there was a signal here or there, there might be something or someone else skulking about beside the party.

Kotone walks up to the figure suspecting it's her cousin.

<<Understood and ya she's like a sister to me. IF she's doing this something has to be up, I don't get why she didn't go to the cops. They tend to keep a close eye on AI dev then again the company's out in international waters>>

She pauses at Alexies response.

Kotone approaches the figure.

"Miho?"

The figure pauses the voice is female something seems off.

"Ko...kotone?!"

There's nothing huge to pick up that's huge there's some other readings but it's hard to make out just what they are but there could be something to be sure.
Corona Arclite Even in a strange and advanced world like this, the sound of a machine is the sound of a machine. Normally it wouldn't sound that out of place, but considering the tense situation, it seems... off. This isn't the sort of time to be taking chances and brushing something off.

<Keep an eye on 'em guys,> Corona murmurs over the tact net. <Gonna get a better vantage point.>

Corona uses her chain grapple to get up to a higher rooftop, mainly because it can be used one-handed, and she doesn't have to put down her shotgun to do so. Once up there she moves closer in the direction the motor sounds are coming from. Just to double-check and be sure.
Black Arachnia While Corona moves for a higher rooftop, Black Arachnia looks for an opportunity to descend - preferably somewhere that advertising lights WON'T pick her out like a cockroach in a desert. If the walls around her perch are generally too well-lit to keep sneaking, she settles for turning up the magnification on her optics and zooming in on teh cloaked figure whom Kotone's addressing.

She's putting her other sensors to work too, mind you, for what good that'll do. She remembers how Miho looked at the Flotilla's base, after all, and it shouldn't be too hard to pick out gross discrepancies if there are any blatant errors - errors that Kotone, for all her experience, might overlook out of worry for her old friend. And if something is clearly *wrong*, she's prepared to abandon stealth.

Although Black Arachnia's idea of quick and decisive action could be *too* decisive for Kotone, if an actual emergency breaks out.
Rory White     This world is FLOODED with radio-based communications, so much that Rory's amazed there isn't a LOT of interference problems.

So her bad feeling about walking here might be based on other things. If she could just figure out what.

What is it that has her unsure about this mess then?

"Miho!" Nevertheless, she's glad to see her unhurt.
Alexis Maaka     Alexis is already where Corona hops up, and she throws a salute to the foxgirl before she tosses her coat aside and her helmet folds into position.

Her tactical cloak activates as she pulls a rifle slung over her shoulder, an SR25 with smart-linked thermal sights and suppressor to be exact. Getting into position while her cloaking device conceals her, Alexis sights down on a good overwatch position, viewing Kotone and the figure from above and afar carefully. THose signals have her antsy, it's just a matter of time before this gets loud.
Starbound Flotilla     "Heya kiddo, long time no see." George keeps the tone as casual and upbeat as ever. He's keeping one hand on his Matter Manipulator, so his casual greetings and goofy gesticulations are a little one-handed. "How's things been hangin'? You got a cold or somethin'?" He chuckles, almost at his own joke. "We gonna just hang out here at the Some Break Zone or you got anywhere you wanna head?" George knows how espionage works. He's making a subtle request for obfuscated sign that Miho wants to get out of where they are.

<<Warning. Obfuscated readings detected. Potentially unrelated, potentially related. We will continue monitoring.>> Seft says. She's wandering closer in that particularly robotic way of hers, but her intense empathy is difficult to resist. "Reassuring. Hello again, Miho." Reassuring? She seems like she's a little focused on making Miho feel safe. It sounds like the fright Kotone reported has her concerned.
Kotone Yamakawa There certainly something going on here as Corona goes in to get a better vantage point there might be something up here., There's something a by off a bit of movement a ripple in the air for half a second? It's hard to tell .

As Black Arachnia is heading down an trying to keep well on looking in at the figure. There's one thing, the figure doesn't have a human normal heat signature, but then again neither does Kotone really given her robotic body.

The figure turn it's hooded head for a moment "...Rory?"

She sounds confused as if she's struggling with something. It's a bit hard to tell, and those signals keep going on too.

"I need help. Saw something, can't recall what it was but bad enough..."

It takes her a moment to look at George and she seems to know him.

"I'm not sure...."

She answers honestly and he looks to Seft nodding slightly and moving to lower her hood, and that's when something really is off the face is of a woman slightly doll like and nothing like Miho at all.

Also Miho was not very heavily augmented either this thing looks like a lower end full con body.

Rory would pick up encrypted signal it's not civilian grade it's more the sort a powerful civilian group, law enforcement or even some military might have, she won't be able to crack it right now however but there's clearly something there. Kotone's face goes blank for a moment then becomes a look of horror.

"Miho?! What...what happened to you?"
Alexis Maaka     It's always gut instinct for Alexis to assume the worst, especially with situations like this. Companion models mean the worst possible thing for her; Sex slaves. Her hands rattle just a bit, her scope's view wavering as her gut twists into a knot of disgust and fury before she calms herself down, partially by her neural circuitry rerouting synapses and administering light seditives to calm her down. It's a clinical and forced approach to get a grip on things, but it does the job fine.

She does however swap her optic scope to other visual spectrums as she secures the scene from up high, making sure nobody's been tailed this whole time.
Corona Arclite <This may be statin' the obvious guys, but I reckon we ain't 'lone out here.>

Corona can't see through stealth beyond the occasional ripple that sometimes is a flaw in the technology, but her exceptional hearing helps to make up the difference. "Really need to make some thermalizer goggles," she mutters under her breath, even as she switchs her shotgun for a different weapon that looks like a steampunk super soaker. Then reachs back to one of her belt pouchs with the other hand.

<Heads up, think there's someone or somethin' else out here. Gonna try an' flush it out while y'all take care of Miho...>

Corona withdraws a canister, latching it into the gun, and lifts it up in the direction of the rippling effect as she adjusts the barrel nozzle for a wide dispersal. When she pulls the trigger the gun sprays out a tarlike substance that is harmless other than being sticky. So it will cling to anything it hits, even if the thing can't be seen normally, making it visible. Or so that's the idea.
Black Arachnia The plot is thickening in a hurry now, isn't it? Black Arachnia switches to a full scan of 'Miho' upon confirming that she should at least look relatively human, 'only some light augmentation' as Kotone put it just now on the radio.

And it's not just direct sensors the Maximal is relying on; she's starting to pay more attention to transmissions, particularly trying to pick out if there are any signals going to or from 'Miho' at this point. Corona's report of 'someone or something else' in the vicinity prompts her to begin skulking further down along her wall, ready to enable her electro-disruptor if she needs to go completely invisible ...
Rory White     Neither face or voice match Rory's records of Miho's appearance. Which doesn't mean a lot, but without a Mesh ID or something else she's used to using... visual and voice is all she has to go on, and changing appearance IS possible in this world. So the AGI's puzzled at this development. And is quick to come up with several theories on possible reasons.

    None of them are good.

So she tenses up and messages her allies on the discrepancies, but nods back at Miho. "The situation's bad, isn't it?"
Starbound Flotilla     George raises an eyebrow. The others have things to deal with, keeping the heat off their back, so he knows the thing to focus on is getting as much info from this connection they have as possible. "Kid. You saw something but you can't remember?" Very briefly, his faux goofiness becomes an obstruction, so he discards it. It's like his entire personality shifts, to the point that he seems to be a whole other person. "Alright. You don't remember what you saw, and it was bad. Should we see it? Where did you see it, Miho? Can you tell me where you're at right now?" His tone is absolutely straightforward now.

<<Worried. Miho saw something but does not remember what it was. Whether or not this is remote controlled, is it possible that her mind was tampered with in some capacity?>> Seft moves forward now, clearly unable to withstand seeing more distress. She's going to gently clasp the strange doll-like body's hand firmly, meant to provide a feeling of safety and security. Whether this is remote-controlled or something else, the reassuring gesture could be important. "Firm. Miho, everything is going to be okay. If you do not remember what you saw, then please tell us what you do remember."
Kotone Yamakawa There's another encrypted transmission from the unknown source it's not the android that's claiming to be Miho. She does seem to know the people here however. She looks scared that much doesn't seem to be fake. She moves towards Kotone seemingly scared.

The scans of her would show nope she's an full out android there. There's little to no meat as it were in her body as it were. Corona however is on the ball at this point. She's moving to try to flush something or someone out the shots open fire, there's another quicker transmission there's a ripple a vague shape of a humanoid figure. There's at least someone there and they have some sort of rifle. They actually don't fire on Corona but there's another burst transmission.

The woman looks to Rory nodding slowly.

"Yes it's bad. Saw something, shouldn't have, it hurts to think too hard."

Kotone just has this stark look of horror on her face and moves to hug her.

"We got you Miho..."

There's another burst transmission.

"There was, a cargo load that came in, a shipping container was damaged, I heard something inside it...something...I can't recall but It ... it was bad enough I had to run, had to get away."

There's several more bursts and now Black Arachnia might notice some ripples too the one on the roof isn't alone, and if there's two? There's likely more here.

"We need to get going...."

'Miho' Looks to Seft nodding. "Okay, want to be okay. I don't like being like this. I think I ran I was somewhere? I had to smash my way out, ran here, found an old phone, called you all here."

She shakes her head.

"There's things missing, more than that though... can't recall when Kotone and I first met but I recall her moving to Japan..."
Corona Arclite Having guns point at her was hardly a new experience, and Corona takes it with the sort of confidence would would expect from an experienced, abeit wary, gunslinger. "Betcha didn't 'spect a low tech solution to yer fancy smancy sneakin' round, did ya?" An ear twitchs as she hears mentions of others over the comm, but doesn't let the surmounting concern over the situation show.

"Have a hunch ya ain't the talkative type, either." She takes a few steps closer, and by this point the tarred figure would be able to see she's clearly not human.

But in the same moment is when Corona fires her grappler at the figure's rifle to yank it out of their hands. "I'm just gonna take that, and y'all can -stick- 'round fer 'while."
Black Arachnia Somewhere in the course of things, Black Arachnia DOES activate her electro-disruptor, suppressing her sensor signatures across pretty much all spectra and cloaking her from visual detection. There are still ways to detect her, but hopefully she can still regain the advantage of surprise.

While stealthed up fully, the Maximal spider skitters along the wall, around a corner, and then up to the roof where Corona spotted potentially hostile movement. It's not just the one bogey, so Corona may need help with the ones she didn't already catch onto ...

If the 'invisible' figures are focused on Corona, hopefully they won't realize they have another problem before Black Arachnia can try to ambush one - launching her mandible grapnel, trying to latch onto one of Corona's 'guests,' and ideally, yanking hard on the figure as she reels her grapnel back in.

The Syndicate group (plus Black Arachnia) does need to leave; she'd just as soon do that without being chased. So, try to remove the potential pursuers. Also try to make the incipient fight easier on Corona.
Alexis Maaka     Alexis' gut churns as the girl continues to speak. All this makes the cyborg think is the girl was turned against her will into some sort of remote controlled drone for whatever reason. Why, how, it doesn't matter to Alexis at this point.

She spies a figure hiding with a rifle and issuing burst transmissions, and she thinks for a moment. It's weird, one would think this sort of remote control drone would be able to recieve signals from miles away, not needing someone right there to watch over it and control its every movement.

Taking aim at the figure, Alexis's rifle almost fires, before Corona handles it herself. Blinking, she shrugs before she trains her scope out to scan for additional bad guys.

<Guys, someone's been watching us. Someone grab the girl and let's bail before we get swarmed.>
Starbound Flotilla     George maintains his brief burst of social clarity. "Alright. The bad thing that you saw, we can keep you away from that and keep it away from you. I can make sure that you're safe, and make sure that you can stop the bad thing that happened to you from happening to anyone else. Follow me and stick close, and don't run away from a big bright light that's going to be here soon." He can tell Corona's in the midst of some kind of violence, so they need to get going NOW. Stealth will have no benefit. "Seft. Call it in."

"Urgent. Albert, we need extraction."
"Confirmed. Rapacity, move to extract."
"Aye, cap'n. One extract comin' up."
"I will ensure the extraction's swiftness and safety."
"Stealth is not necessary."

And so stealth isn't what's going to happen. Out of orbit screams the Rapacity, that light, powerful Avian craft. This one's equipped with the heavy-duty teleporter system, used to inject or extract people from shielded ships. It's already trying to get a lock on Miho via George's teleport beacon, but military-grade countermeasures may be able to stop it before it gets a lock... Unless they can get line of sight lock, of course. Speaking of which...

"Urging. We need to make sure they can't fire on Miho." She's not going to pretend to be something local anymore. She draws her Matter Manipulator and attempts to fire a tremendous burst of mining force into the building where they've been meeting by. "Exclaiming. Inside, go." She calls out, with a distressed alert noise. She's the one who moves to pull Kotone along too, while George is the one who means to yank Miho inside. The pair are intending to yank the Yamakawas inside and into a position of good cover to avoid gunfire from the threats nearby, as well as identify any routes to the roof!
Rory White     "Is your real body anywhere nearby?!" Rory's starting to panic, but she's keeping her voice low. This is not good. The shared tacnet is giving Rory enough data to know that this is bad. Not for HER, precisely, but for the others around her... and Miho...

That's the cause of her worry and it's far more than enough.

"We'll try to sort everything out. I can only guess that we've stumbled upon some information a very powerful organization wants to keep hidden. We'll need to move fast."
Kotone Yamakawa The skulker does not say a thing to Corona as she's manage to seeming to grab the rifle out of the persons' hand they seem shocked for half a second but they are moving to grab a side arm of some sort and snap off a shot at Corona, it's aimed to keep her off balance they appear to be intending to flee and leap off the roof if they can.

Black Arachnia would however find that they are not as unaware as they might the one being ambushed shifts and moves. Throwing a small item at her which if it latches on would explode in a powerful but small area effect EMP pulse of some sort. While they seem to be making to move. Alexis meanwhile had the right idea to scan for more bad guys and not shoot the one Corona is dealing with is hell bent to flee, she also spots another roof there seems to be something or someone lining up a shot there, it's a sniper from the looks of it, this could be a problem, a very big one. There's also more rapid transmissions going on here too.

'Miho' nods and looks to George she seems to understand what he's saying and will follow him she moves to keep going As The Starbounders do their thing. Alexis reacts she takes a shot at the sniper, the shot hits but they squeeze off a shot, thankfully there will be no follow up thanks to Alexis and due to Seft? The round that was fired gets nowhere. 'Miho' is clearly afraid and Kotone needs to snap out of it so it's a good thing she's being dragged along.

"My real body I think I'm not sure. I'm sorry Rory..."

Kotone is getting wits back.

"We need to get the hell out of here...Miho we're going to get you somewhere safe."
Black Arachnia THAT wasn't in the playbook.

When her target is evidenced to be aware enough of an ambush to throw something at her, Black Arachnia only really has one recourse: *get off the roof* and worry about other things later. It's enough to get her main body out of the device's arc; reeling her grapnelt back in takes a moment longer -

And results in the device latching onto the grapnel as it zips past.

There's a distinctly electronic shriek of equally distinctive pain before Black Arachnia manages to recover from the initial shock. Her grapnel - and thus, her spider form's mouth - are basically shorted out; she's just glad the charge didn't travel through the 'cable' and into her main body for good measure.

On the plus side, she survived and she can head for the warpgate with her allies ... at least, if the buildings stop swaying in the wind.
Alexis Maaka     Alexis begins to extract before her sensors detect something. Someone.

"Target spotted. Taking the shot." She aims the rifle dead center in the hostile sniper up above, before squeezing off a shot. A muted crack and a *CHUFF* of sniper rifle lights up the night briefly as a 7.62 NATO round punches through body armor and internal tissue, should Alexis's aim be true. After that, she makes a run for it, using her strength to propel herself across gaps between rooftops during the quick exfil.
Corona Arclite The only downside to drawing a gun on Corona is that she's use to this sort of scenery. Because, you know, retro-futuristic Wild West frontier world and all that. Her first and formost instinct is to duck as the grappler is reeling in. Sparks of impact flash in the night... And her hat lands several feet behind her crouched form, still sparking from where the shot blew out the headlamp strapped to it.

"Sunovva." Instead of getting up from her crouch Corona snaps up the rifle she grabbed into her own hands.

And then the fleeing fiend is getting fired on by his own rifle! "That was my good hat ya shit swizzlin' scumball!"

Never mess with a cowboy's hat. -Never-.
Starbound Flotilla     "Yikes, them's bullets. We're not looking at a capture sort of mission." George rambles as he continues keeping one half of the Yamakawas in cover. Seft continues with the other. One assumes that any countermeasures this assailing group would have had haven't gone off yet. And if that's the case, then hopefully Pavo's ship, which just got out high altitude and into a hovering position above New Port -- without much subtlety -- can lock onto them, and do a bit of a cliche. An alien abduction!

Assuming this worked right, the brilliant yellow beam of light is going to head down to attempt to extract all four up to that odd aztec-looking spacecraft. That is, assuming the group assailing them don't have scrambling countermeasures...
Rory White     It is EXTRACTION TIME! Rory looks around through her two very limited eyes and wahtever other senses are available over the network and cringes. They've really stumbled upon something BAD! And had best leave. "Without knowing where Miho really is, we can't afford to go too far, can we? Because we don't know the maximum transmission range of her remote connection!"

But since there is apparently a remote connection, Rory takes a moment to actually switch her sensors over to simply picking up raw radio. Is anything strong coming FROM Miho?!
Kotone Yamakawa The mysterious attackers seem to be trying to cut their losses and run at this point. There's too much firepower a few lower level elites like Kotone or say Rory would be easy enough to deal with but this much? Heck no, theya re booking it. Alexis shot does hit home but hte fate of the sniper is uknown. Either they are dead, or out of the fight because no more shots are coming from them.

the other fleeing guy is gone it's unclear if he got hit but it's more than enough to say he doesn't want to fight with.

With the ship coming in it's going to work but the local military will be responding it's time to book it as people are beamed up without much trouble the attacker have nothing to deal with. They beam out but once they are on the ship. Miho's still moving huddling for the moment, and Kotone is looking very haunted and now moving to try and comfort her. Yet there's no real strong remote signals other than what Kotone's own body gives off looking for internet connections like it normally does....
Corona Arclite Corona Arclite doesn't really care, that he's -leaving- is the important part. Hopefully with enough smarts to get out of whatever dirty business set him up to this. With a snort the foxgirl shoulders the weapon and walks over to pick up her hat. A few shakes dislodge the broken light and she returns it to her head, a few wiggles to adjust and briefly running her fingers along the brim to straighten it out. "Just fer that, I'm keepin' yer gun." Even though the guy is lightly nowhere near to hear that. "Let's get outta here."

She opens her comm and keys up Pavo's ship to beam up to since it's closest. She can teleporter hop to her own ship from it later.
Alexis Maaka     Alexis doesn't take long to teleport herself off the scene as well, keying onto Pavo's vessel when the ship begins its arrival. Like Corona, she can get aboard the Spectre later, but for now she doesn't have much option for escape. She reforms molecule by molecule aboard the Rapacity, her helmet unforming as she slings the rifle. It should be a quick exfil at least, if Pavo's as good a pilot as she seems.
Starbound Flotilla     With the extraction completed, the Starbounders aren't about to stay behind long enough to see how things escalate. Whoever's responsible for this and whatever involvement the local military might want to have in things, Pavo intends to kick this bucket right back out into space. With a tremendous gush of brilliant blue thrust, the two Yamakawas and the various Flotilla members who managed to get back aboard might get tossed back a bit when it blasts right back off into space and books it for high orbit! Hopefully losing Miho's tail by getting to where they can't go...

They're intending to set up a jump back to Flotilla holdings, like the mining facility on Amalgam's moon.
Corona Arclite Once the initial thrust for slinging into orbit and beyond is over, Corona trudges over to squat down next to Kotone and Miho. "Only heard part o' it all over the radio, but Ah reckon yer kin saw a bit too much of somethin' and someone tried to remove her memories or her free will. Or both." She tugged the brim of her hat down partway over her face as she mutter "Rawht shame, too."
Black Arachnia A direct hit with the EMP device would have left Black Arachnia in what humans refer to coloquially as 'a world of hurt' - maybe fully disabled, but certainly crippled and genertally the worse for wear. Even with it just having tagged her mandible grapnel in an extended state, enough of the pulse got into her systems to scramble her comm circuits and her electro-disruptor, as well as playing hell with her voluntary motor control.

Despite all of that, though, she's making her way - as best she can - back towards the warpgate she arrived through. If any of the Unionites present happen to be able to stop and help her, she'll probably be appreciative later.

... Probably.
Rory White     It seems that Rory and her allies can go NOWHERE without someone turning the situation into a bad one! This factoid gets filed away fast. There's much more important things to deal with.

Like the low-flying ship! And the strange situation with Miho that quickly gets Rory's gut sinking. Well, it would, if she had a stomach...

This is not good news either way you look at it from her perspective. How will she break this news to Miho? If she can at all...

Is this really Miho? It sure seems so. But what if...

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it..."

With a flash of BLUE she's back aboard A ship. Pavo's ship. And slamme against a bulkhead in no time at all. "Must he hurry so much?! They can't scramble defenses fast enough to catch us..." Oooof.
Kotone Yamakawa Kotone Yamakawa is now just holding her cousin ifg it's really her 'Miho' is holding on to Kotone for dear life now at least she's not huddling right? She seems to be interacting she feels safe or at least that's how it seems. "It's okay Miho...Don't discount the JDSF, lets just get somewhere safe."
