Kay     THE MEDICAL AREA!

Given that Sakura Haruno works here, any medical area is sure to be pretty clean and well-stocked. Not that most of it is all that important to an examination like this. Kay is here and has already changed into something lightweight, so any contamination from travel clothes being exposed to magic won't have an effect. All of her things are on the table nearby, too.

She's also pretty bored already, swinging legs while sitting. Wow, that didn't take long.
Berserker     Food! As requested, Berserker has brought food! Tonight she has a sort of greenish-blonde hair, and looks petite and somewhat eastern in nationality. This is a little different from her last appearance, which had blonde hair and was a little taller. She's carried a few bento boxes in, and left one near the entrance, because food in a medical office is bad... she thinks.

It's really good though. Some kind of hummus and vegetable sandwich or something, sliced neatly into quarters. She's made several of them on a tray, next to the more traditional bento.
Kyra Hyral     Kyra's mostly a visitor in this medical area. She doesn't have any of her own equipment stashed here and apparently brings what she needs with her. In fact, it's hard to tell if she has any established 'space' at the agency quite yet. If she does, it's definitely not anywhere near Haruno's stuff. As she arrives with her Moogle-shaped backpack slung over her back, she looks surprised to see Kay already here.

"Ah crap, I didn't mean to be late or anything." Kyra says hastily, putting her backpack aside. "Alright. Well. This shouldn't take very long. All I really need to do is cast Libra on you and Berserker to sort out the prana flow thing. I'm Kyra by the way. Kyra Hyral. Nice to meet you both in person."

Her eyes immediately fall to the bento boxes. "...is that hummus?"
Riva Banari Just when you thought you were safe.

Just when you thought you could relax and get yourself checked out without incident.

IN A WORLD WHERE MYSTICAL LEGENDS BRING BENTO BOXES INTO THE HOSTPITAL, ONE WOMAN STANDS TALL TO SEEK OUT THE TRUTH.

"Sup guys." Riva asks, apparently attracted by the sudden upswing of activity (or just following Kyra's moogle backpack. That thing stands out, man). She leans on another table, pulling out a taco and unwrapping with with a practiced movement, taking a crunchy bite. CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH.

"What's going on in this thread?" She pauses, blinking at Kay and Berserker. "Oh hi! Kay! I've been meaning to flag you down. Missed you during the big cookout. And you..." She pauses, looking to Berserker. "You're new. Hi there! I'm Riva Banari! Nice to meet you! Welcome to Heaven or Hell!" She offers a vaguely Japaneseish bow since she looks the part.
Kay     Kay waves, "I was already in the office, no big deal. Well, around the corner technically." She shrugs, then leans back against the wall. "Libra, huh? Well... I've had some divinations cast on me, but nothing major. It's a start though! And maybe with Berserker here things will look a little different." She grins. "And I'm Kay. No last name, that I know. Just a wandering summoner. I left Levi outside so she wouldn't confuse matters. She's my Familiar, so if you see a magic flow wandering out of the room, that's what it's for."

Pause. "And yeah. Hummus. Berserker loves to cook, and she's good at it." Oh, there's Riva. "Hey Riva! Sure, we can talk whenever."
Berserker     "Hummus and cucumber sandwiches, with some sliced pita to go with the excess," Berserker clarifies. She gives a bow to both, a sweeping formal one, then straightens up and hides her face behind the spread of a fan. "Hello. I am Berserker of Black, and I do hope this will not in any way inconvenience my beloved."

Yes, she's still saying beloved instead of Master.
Kyra Hyral     "Libra's a bit more than just divination. It gives me a detailed readout of your vitals and will /probably/ let me pinpoint where the Prana is coming out of. That is, assuming it works in the same way as magic particles. It probably would. I've discovered that many other units of magic found on other worlds are pretty much equivalent to Galianda's MP. Kind of relieving to see that some things are the same on a molecular level-err, anyway...I wouldn't mind meeting your familiar sometime too, Kay."

Kyra walks over to her backpack and withdraws something that looks like a blood pressure cuff mixed with a bracelet. She hands it to Kay, "Slip this on-"

"Riva!" Kyra ceases work for a moment to round on the fellow redhead and hug her. "Hi! I'm doing super important businessy things. It's /super serious/." She doesn't sound that serious. "Also that sounds delicious and I am so going to eat that following this. Flows and statistics, revealed to me. Libra!" Diagnostic magic, which functions correctly, follows.
Riva Banari "Berserker of Black? Oh man, you're a Servant? That's awesome. Are you in one of the active Magical Highander Death Games?" Riva asks Berskerker brightly, and then pauses. "Oh right, um... Grail War. Those things."

She perks up and shuffles up next to Kyra, taking up a VERY IMPORTANT station hovering over her shoulder. "I /bet/ it's super important, Kyra." She teases. "A box full of deliciousness seems to be on the line."

It's hard to tell which one is the 'Big Sister' in this relationship sometimes.

In the meantime, while Kyra gets her Libra on, Riva narrows her eyes, as if she just realized something. "Wait." She looks between Kay and Berserker. "Your beloved?" She looks over Berserker in more detail, and then looks over Kay. She seems to nod to herself. "Interesting choice! You two will work out great together." She gives a thumbsup and a wink to Kay.
Kay     Kay just laughs, "Yeah, magic seems compatible to some degree." She shrugs again. "I just don't know anything but summoning, really. Well... nothing /reliable/ anyway." She doesn't clarify on that, just buckles the bracelet on and lets it take some vitals. She sighs, then, as Riva adds to the fire. "Yeah, she'd make a great wife, but the problem is we're both um... not on that side of the fence, if you get my meaning. It's a little awkward, but I'm sure she can explain better."

There's something a bit odd about Kay, that's for sure, but it's not THAT odd. Her vitals are literally perfect... she has an athlete's heart rate, with a steady and slow resting pulse, and her blood pressure is basically perfect. Then again, for an active Elite that isn't that strange, is it?

She has a pretty high level of magic flowing through her body naturally. It's not super duper high, but she'd make a pretty strong mage if she wanted to be one. Some of it is flowing out of the room, as she warned. None of it is going to Berserker.

instead, entertwined with her body's magic and flowing through it without any issues at all, is a second source of magic. It's subtly different, seemingly incompatible with whatever she's using to maintain her Familiar... but it works just fine for Berserker's maintenance. This source is an unnaturally huge amount, however. More than a human body should be able to hold.
Berserker     Berserker's vitals are... SHE'S MADE OF MANA! Yeah she's fine, and sucking up a LOT more mana than she has any right to be doing. It's not like she looks combat-ready. Still, it's not as much as it could be, and it's well within Kay's tolerance... for the time being. Kay could probably maintain her as she is right now even without that weird secondary source, though it'd be a much more dangerous drain.

"Mmmhmm. Ah, beloved is the reincarnation of the one I was meant to be with. I will keep her safe in this life, and in the next she will be with me in a more appropriate body," Berserker states. "What is a romance without challenges to overcome, yes?"
Kyra Hyral     "YES. Exactly that. As you can see the stakes are /very high/ in this super serious business." She keeps the act going around Riva, even managing a super serious Doctor Face.

Something in Kyra's pocket beeps. She takes out what is clearly a Galiandan smart phone (feeding off of Kyra's own MP), which is fed data from the diagnostic cuff she put on Kay, working off of the Libra spell. She doesn't need to scroll through the output, though, the mechanism just recording the results so she can review them later if needed. "Well you're super healthy, that's for sure. But...uh...okay, well, I've never seen this before but you have two separate pools of MP. Since you're a summoner, I did expect to see a huge one but...not that huge. The huge one seems to be what's directly feeding Beserker while the other one is clearly powering your familiar. It's strange, as if you're possessed by an extraterrestrial being that has its own MP pool."

She looks to Berserker, frowning, stunned by the extreme amount of prana her very existance is consuming. "Oh, I don't know, I think you could love her even in that body." Kyra says casually, "-hm, interesting. When you are actually actively fighting something, I'd be interested to see how the prana flow changes between the two of you. Even right now it's pretty active and Berserker is not exerting any power. Though speaking of power-" Kyra snatches up a piece of pita and dunks it in the hummus.
Riva Banari Riva blinks at the explanation. "Reincarnation shenanigans, huh? Well, I guess that explains it. How you want to handle it is between you both of course. I'm just happy that you seem to have found some good friends, you seemed pretty lonely for a while there when you introduced yourself on the radio."

She smiles, then. "Now look! Everyone wants to be your friend now!"

She then leans back over to Kyra. "So you're performing an emergency Bentoectomy to resolve this situation, huh?" Joking aside given, she looks back to Kay. "So how are you and Berserker going to handle your, uh... General issues? I heard you had some major problems going on back at home."
Kay     Kay grimaces. "Yeah... I kinda knew that, but not really... I don't think it's a /being/ in there. It's always been a part of me. I can't really use it, mostly. It's just /there/ and sometimes weird things happen. Like I'll see things that are invisible normally, or I'll suddenly be stronger and faster for a second, but it never lasts and I've never figured out how to make it happen."

She glances toward Berserker. "I'm not really... I don't really tell anyone about it, because it'd be trouble on my world. You guys seem pretty used to stuff like that, though." There's probably stuff she still isn't telling, but it's at least a small extension of trust. "I'm not sure if I want to have Berserker in my world and fighting. It might draw attention. If she wants to help that's great, but I'm not a general or a leader, I just want to find my parents. I don't suppose your spell gave you any idea on how to use that power, though?"
Berserker     "Of course I will help~! You're my beloved! A Servant is to help her Master, yes?" Sidling up next to Kay, Berserker reaches out, then stops and peers at Kyra. "You /are/ finished, aren't you?" Boy, her tone of voice was way different there, a lot more cool, though not exactly unfriendly.

"You know," she offers, "Have you considered learning Magecraft from one of the Magi of my world or a similar one? That might help you understand your abilities more. What do you two think?" She's not asking Kyra and Riva both. "I have only been in this Multiverse a few days, I think you two might have more insight into this."
Kyra Hyral     "Ah, a reserve of magic particles you have no control over and sometimes even produces effects on its own." Kyra says solemly, clearly understanding that particular situation. "But when you put it that way, it almost makes it sound a little more like possession. But that can't be the case or I would have seen signs of a spirit or bodiless being inside you. That is unless this being is so advanced it does not register in regular magic. Hmm. But to learn more about this second MP pool, I'd have to do some more closer studies of the magic particles being drawn from it. Scanning you when you're exhibiting those other effects or when Berserker is using her abilities might provide some more answers on how you might access and control this second source of magic."

She pauses, looking a little taken back by the sudden change in Berserker's tone. "Uh. Yeah, I'm done." Kyra reaches over and plucks the bracelet off of Kay's wrist. The item disappears back into the Moogle backpack.

"It'd probably help her." Kyra says, sounding somewhat put out now. "Granted, from what I understand, magi from those worlds are usually pretty unfriendly. I myself was cautioned...away from 'The Tower' when I started poking around in that world."

She asides to Riva. "The diagnosis is in. The prognosis: delicious. You should have some too, Riva." she gestures to the food.
Riva Banari "Okay, that's a good point. You're right, turning this thing into a giant brawl is even worse than my usual ideas." Riva taps her chin for a moment, thoughtful as she bounces back and forth on her feet. She's an active type. "Okay, your parents. Let's focus on that. It's a smaller goal and will let you both get used to what each other is capable of. Naturally, Kyra and I will help you as well, but the important thing is you two."

Riva might not be the best fighter or hero, but she /does/ have levels in social skills. She caught that like it was a pop fly. "Some disciplined work might help, but most of the Magi I've met from your world were Grade A Douchebags. I can recommend like, maybe one? The Master of Archer of Brown, Senator Albert Mason? See if you can catch him. Past that, I recommend practice. Lots and lots of practice."

At Kyra's prompting, however, Riva tries some of the pita and hummus. "Oh man, this is awesome!" Riva says. "You can really taste the flavors working together here. This is super fresh." She grins to Berserker and Kay. "One thing is for sure, Kay, with her around you're never going to go hungry."
Kay     "Huh..." Kay looks to Berserker, but lets her close without a problem. "Okay, so Magi are out, but maybe something else. I never learned my own world's Sorcery because it was hard to find a decent teacher, I guess that's true of Berserker's world too."

Sigh. "Anyway, for now she feeds me well at least! Pretty good, huh?" Kay grins, scratching the back of her head. "Thanks for taking a look. I'll try to report anything unusual that happens, and let you know when we're moving out to do something."
Berserker     Berserker smiles as Kyra announces she's done, all happy and cheery again. She snaps her fan out and looks over the edge, pleased. "Ohh, I'm very glad you like it. I think I will use that for the appetizers at the party later, then. Well, one of them, at least. With Sabers there we'll need more than just that. I presume you two are coming? As a couple?"

    Dammit Berserker.

She continues on like she hadn't just said that. "Oh, with any luck we won't need me to really stress myself. Berserkers can be quite a drain on their Masters, but if you say beloved can handle it that does make me feel so much better. Still, violence is so unladylike, I much prefer subtler methods. Perhaps my own magics will be of use."
Kay     Kay mulls over the offer that was made by the other two. "My parents might be in the conquered zones. Honestly... I don't have much to go on. I guess I can look for mages of some power? I have a talent for that, right?" She scratches her head again. "Otherwise, just people who look a little like me who are the right age? At least in their thirties, I guess. I'm sixteen now, almost seventeen, so they have to be at least that old. It's not much to go on, finding a couple who may not even be alive who gave birth almost two decades ago during a war."
Riva Banari Riva chuckles at Berserkers not-subtle-at-all insinuation. "We'll see what happens." She replies, smoothly brushing it aside. "There's going to be a party, huh. I assume this is going to be down at Dun Realtai, or...?" What's this? Riva not up to date on the PARTY CALENDAR? Madness!

Kay's deliberations, however, interrupts the PARTYQUISTION. "You're going to need some kind of intel. Any keepsakes? Know where their last known locations were? What their names are? Some kind of super DNA scanner? Their jobs? Things they say all the time? You have to have something..."
Kay     Riva's question makes Kay shake her head. "No, not at Dun Realtai. Not sure yet. Maybe here? I've never been to Dun Realtai, but if they want to have it there I guess that's fine if Berserker is okay with bringing the food there." She shrugs at Berserker, letting her answer that for now.

"No keepsakes, no last known locations, no names. DNA records didn't survive the war and I was raised in a pretty backwater place anyway." Kay sighs. "I never met them, I was just a baby. The only word I have is what my foster parents mentioned. They said 'Gemini,' but I don't know if that's a place, the constellation, a secret government project... anything."
Berserker     Berserker answers easily, "If Dun Realtai is open for us, then we can go there, it matters not to me." She stops and thinks, then suggests suddenly, "Perhaps if we announce our engagement across your entire world, my new in-laws will come to see their daughter-to-be?" She has no ulterior motives there at all, nosir.
Riva Banari "I was just wondering, because that's where I thought there were all the Sabers you mentioned. Hold it wherever you think is suitable! I'm not going to argue." Riva smiles... And then blinks at Berserker's suggestion. "Well, no one's going to say your new friend has commitment issues, Kay." Riva jokes. "But the fact is, you've got jack-all. I think we're going to have to pry up some rocks and look under them to get the information you're looking for now."

She shakes her head. "Anyway, Kay, if you need some help for anything, gimme a call. I'll back you and Berserker up anytime."
Kyra Hyral     Kyra gets quiet for a moment. "Well...I dunno, maybe there's a teacher at Alexander Academy that could help as far as learning magic control. You're young enough that you could enroll as a student." She just casually lays that out there but doesn't follow up. She seems lost in her own world for a moment before:

'As a couple' "Eh? Oh, no, Riva and I aren't dating. She's more like my adoptive sister!" she clarifies briefly as she reshoulders her backpack.

"Anyway, for your search, I agree that trying to look for other mages or summoners is a good place to start if that's a hereditary thing where you're from." Kyra encourages, "Though the war is going to make things tricky for research. But like Riva says, if you need backup in order to get somewhere, we'd be glad to support you in your search."
